Getting Off This Planet

by Dennis Klinger

Science wants to know how, philosophy wants to know why.

The older I get the less there is on this planet to really interest me or command my

desire.

It is very hard to want to be on this planet right now.

Not that I want to leave just this life, but to leave the planet.

Not to travel space but to live in another time or age of human consciousness.

To want off of this planet is not to want death of this physical body, because the soul

that is here will simply go from life to life.

In actuality, my life isnt bad and could be much worse.

But I would rather be off of this planet, or at least this period it is presently going

through.

So the struggle then becomes how to find a way for my consciousness to leave this age

of nonreason when I die and not have to come back.

My lack of interest in this world is rooted in my lack of finding importance in the same

subjects or events as my contemporaries.

This gap is ever increasing and manifesting into a need for personal action to at least

try to make this my last rodeo.

But how do I do that?

Its funny how simple things dawn on us in a certain way that brings an acceptance

in predicament.

If you want off of this ride, you have to accomplish what you were sent here to do.

This would imply purpose.

Although I have always seen a purpose in human existence, I have never thought we could or

should want to know our purpose.

But after careful reflection of my current predicament, inside what I can only see as

a worldwide crisis in consciousness, I find only one approach to take; this is to uncover

my purpose and accept it, procure it and execute it.

This is the only way the universe will let me leave, and of this I have become completely

convinced.

I still think there is a greater purpose of the whole of humanity that we may never truly

understand as individuals during this lifetime.

But there is also purpose with every single life in how it contributes to the purpose

of the whole.

Somehow, it was this growing apathy for our planet and the current consciousness it is

hosting that drove me to understand this.

Until this point, I had always thought we are here to live without purpose other than

the one we could never understand which is responsible for our creation.

Most humans do not like to talk about purpose.

It is uncomfortable for them.

I can feel this myself when I think about purpose because it requires a decision of

action.

If you acknowledge having a purpose, then you must make the decision to act on it, or

ignore it.

The default decision is already made to ignore it, all you can do now is change that decision

and act on it.

To act on the discovery of a purpose may draw an audience, and some are not comfortable

with that either.

Not to mention, there are a large number of people who would consider purpose to be nonsense

and this will never change.

This negative vibration must be disregarded as much as humanly possible.

If you are one of the fortunate souls that does not want off of this planet or age of

mankind, then you may not feel the apathy some do.

There was a time I would have fallen under that category, but this is no longer the case.

There is nothing wrong with wanting to be here and there is nothing wrong with not wanting

to be here.

We cannot understand the will of the universe but only interpret how it is received by oneself.

So sometimes, apathy can be a good thing.

It can cause self reflection and result in a different understanding of what you are,

and what you think you should be doing with your life.

I believe that all those who see how this planet is in a crisis of consciousness, came

to it by a path that was uniquely their own.

Every persons purpose is just as unique as the path, but it would stand to reason

that our purpose is something that comes natural to us.

We should take what we are given and try to understand how it helps to change the consciousness

of this planet for the better.

At any rate, this will be my approach.

I do not think the universe is just going to let me leave by trying to make myself comfortable

in life and build some type of security intended to insure happiness.

This is not executing a purpose, this is adhering to culture.

A Day in the Life of Real Estate Agent & Why She Loves Matcha! - Duration: 6:52.

Hey guys, on today's episode of #chitchatandmatcha we're gonna spend the day

with Valaria Ford. She's a realtor here at Exit Realty. She is new to matcha but

she absolutely loves it, and she has a fantastic Lavender Matcha recipe that

we're gonna share with you at the end of this video. I'm gonna turn the spotlight

over to Valaria, she's going to introduce herself tell you about her daily

schedule, what that looks like, why she loves matcha, and how she adds matcha to her

everyday life. Valaria: Hi guys, this is Valaria with Exit Realty, and I'm super

excited to take you along to show you how a real realtor life looks like. It's

like an adventures every day! I love it, it's super crazy, so let's go ahead and

get started! I just love starting my mornings at the

office and what I do is I make myself a quick matcha by adding some water, ice

and a serving of matcha. I just love sipping on my matcha and

water in the morning. It really jump starts my day and it gives me just

enough energy for a very busy schedule ahead. Then I go ahead and start my day,

and I start to follow up on emails, calls with my clients and referral partners. I

usually check my daily schedule while I wait on my team to gather for our weekly

office meeting I usually sip on some more matcha and try to get some more

work done, follow up on some phone calls and just check again my daily schedule

and what I have planned for the day. Being a realtor, one thing I learned is

there is no such thing as a set schedule 9-5. From meeting my clients in the morning

and then having some showings in the afternoon there are moments in my day

when stressful situation happen and all I want to do is literally pull my hair

out, fortunately we have a couch in our office and only need is just a quick

break to lay there and dream of a tropical place and then I am definitely

ready to get up and get going. Now it's time to head over to do some

showings quickly grab my matcha and hit the road.

I spent a lot of the time in my car weather is heading to showings or

appointments, so I'm very grateful to have my matcha and sipping it throughout my

day, because often there is no time for lunch. I always try to show up to my

showing appointments a little bit earlie,r just so I can prepare the house

for my clients. I usually walk around and turn on the lights in

every single room so when my clients walk into the home they may feel like

this could be their future dream home that they've been waiting for all their

life. While I show you this beautiful home I wanted to tell you a funny story

that just recently happened to me. I always keep the key with me when I walk

around the house, but this time I set it on a counter and we proceeded to check out

the backyard... what happen is we got locked out!

Luckily my client was awesome enough to jump the fence and save the day. So as I

say, the life of a realtor is really unpredictable they they can just go in

any direction and I truly love how fun my job is. I'm always going above and

beyond for my clients like in this instance Michelle and I jumped quickly

into the tub to ensure that is very comfortable for the future homeowners. My

favorite activity is while I wait on my clients because sometimes they do show

up late, which is okay, I love to dance and if you follow me on Instagram you will know

how much I love to dance and sing along. Although my voice is not that great but

I think I got pretty good dancing moves. I just got enough time to quickly sip

on my matcha and enjoy it for just a little bit before I welcome my clients

into this beautiful home. Next it's time to go again to my next appointment. Don't

you just love how fun it is to be a realtor? I sure do!

Sometimes I'm even lucky to actually have lunch! Today I got a new listing and

I'm super excited to celebrate. One of my favorite parts of getting a new listing

is putting the sign in the ground because it's an amazing workout

especially when the ground is dry. My other realtor friends will definitely

understand the struggle. It's definitely quiet an adventure

every single day in real estate, and I love this industry with all my heart. I

love to finish my afternoons in the office and by making my favorite matcha

latte recipe and this is lavender matcha latte. It's just so creamy and yummy and

it's an amazing pick-me-up in the afternoons

since there's still lots of work to be done in the real estate world.

Valaria: mmm-hmm amazing so delicious. Thank you for joining me today please call me

if you need helped with your real estate needs. I'll be happy to help you.

All right guys time to get out of here. I actually got some clients coming so bye!

go go

At the end of our video we decided to sit down and have a cup of traditional

matcha with Valaria and make an origami crane. We wanted to show her that

this is one of the tools that we use when we have five minutes in the day

just to relax, take time for ourselves and do something that's sort of meditative

to focus us on the rest of our day. Life of a realtor can be so hectic and easy

so it was truly nice to just sit down sip on some matcha and learn how to

create origami. I was so surprised how peaceful and relaxing this activity was.

Thank you so much Michelle I truly appreciate you taking the time

and creating this wonderful experience for me.

S. Korea begins implementing the Panmunjom Declaration; First high-level inter-Korean dialogue - Duration: 2:06.

The presidential committee on the implementation of the Panmunjom Declaration held its inaugural

meeting today.

Among other the members discussed holding their first high-level inter-Korean talks

by the middle of this month.

Moon Connyoung has our top story.

The first meeting of the presidential committee on the implementation of the historic April

27th Panmunjom Declaration.

The new committee is based on an earlier interagency organization established to help prepare for

the symbolic summit between the leaders of South and North Korea held last week at the

border truce village of Panmunjom.

"We will negotiate with North Korea and hold high-level inter-Korean dialogue by mid-May.

As for issues that need further negotiations, the committee will take the outcome of the

high-level talks and continue discussion at working-level talks."

Headed by President Moon's Chief of Staff, Im Jong-seok, the committee will focus on

carrying out the outcome of the leaders' meeting which calls for various measures aimed at

denuclearization of North Korea and formally ending the 1950 to

1953 Korean War.

The first task force to be launched on the committee, which will also see new members

from the government, will be one to check the possibility of crossborder cooperation

in forestry.

"Cooperation in forestry is one of those areas the North most urgently requires helps with

and also an area we have much expertise in so, we plan to tackle that area first."

President Moon earlier in the week urged swift implementation of steps that can be taken

right away, acknowledging those that may have to be delayed due to international sanctions

placed on the North Korean regime.

"As the president always says... this is only the beginning... with the North Korea, U.S.

summit just around the corner.

I think we may be able to stretch our legs and move on to the next phase only once we

round off the North-U.S. summit without our guard down."

Moon Connyoung, Arirang News, the Blue House.

I Rant About The Worst Show Of All Time... - Duration: 16:18.

A while back, ralphthemoviemaker uploaded a video titled "The Worst Show Ever Made: The Nut Shack".

YouTube, being the absolute pricks that they are, took it down for violating the community guidelines, even though it didn't.

It was just a good review of a bad show.

Anyways, as soon as I saw that title, I instantly disagreed because I noticed the

animation style in the thumbnail is not the animation style of the ACTUAL worst show ever made.

And that show is "Teen Titans Go!". I don't care if "The Nut Shack" is offensive.

I don't care if anything is offensive. This is just bad.

Yeah, "The Nut Shack" has obnoxious animation, but at least it doesn't have colors that give you fucking headache.

I think it's flash animation and it is just awful.

Also, it thinks it's so smart, but it's just so stupid. It's like, over the course of a few weeks, the writers think:

"Oh, I know this unfunny joke. It's gunna be so smart."

Then, they just repeat it like throughout the entire script. And then that's the joke!

Of course they have two episodes that use the animation from the old show.

You know, the good "Teen Titans" series, and then just add voiceovers to that and expect people to find it funny.

And those are the best jokes.

Basically, for the first few seasons, they stole episode ideas from their own show (the original "Teen Titans" one).

Those are the best ones because, while they steal those ones, at least they're not far and piss jokes. Like, I'm not kidding.

That's basically the entire show.

God fucking help us all.

Cyborg: Are you doing the pee pee dance?

Cyborg: Bitch, I invented the pee pee dance!

You're a robot. How the fuck do you piss?

Dumbass hack "writers": Everyone hates the show right now because they think it's this, like, kiddie show and it's not.

The show they claim is not immature then proceeds to play an immature song about how to dance when you need to piss.

Dumbass hack "writers": Everyone hates the show right now because they think it's this, like, kiddie show and it's not. It's definitely not.

Fucking morons.

They then compare their garbage fire to fucking "South Park". One's funny and ones not. No comparison.

Add that obnoxious animation and a show that thinks it's smart because of way too many pop-culture references,

as well as self-referential humor that wouldn't even be there if the show was good,

add that to the original "Teen Titans" series, and you get this abomination.

It's so awful

The creators themselves admitted they haven't even seen the original show.

This is how I imagine their thought process to be.

'They're a group, aren't they? You know what, let's make Beast Boy and Cyborg the same character, where they're just a couple of lazy fatasses,

like Just a kid that rants, and then we'll just have them sit around all day and have "humor" that revolves around them

not wanting to do anything. They're also slackers, so let's make them stupid.

Then Raven will just be annoyed by everything. Remember, we can only have one-dimensional characters. We can't have them have any depth.

As for Robin, he's the leader of the group. How do we make that funny? I know, let's give him OCD! That's just hilarious!

That's basically the entire joke. Robin's "character" is a joke.

It can be funny if you have talent and you're able to write a character with character-driven jokes.

For example, Jesse Pinkman in Breaking Bad. He always says "bitch" over and over again.

It's funny because his character is kind of insecure, but he acts really tough, so he call s people "bitch".

I think that's funny.

I've started doing that lately because of him. He's made that word funny to me because he's a good character.

And he's a funny character, but none of these characters are good or funny.

I feel bad saying that about lateen Titans go because that alone just makes it seem like I'm roasting a 4-year-old with Down syndrome.

I usually don't even go into this territory because it's on another realm of stupidity.

But now, I feel like I have to, because the latest trailer has more likes than dislikes.

Even if it had 1 like and a 2,000,000,000 dislikes, it would still be alarming that it even has 1 like.

This is horrifying.

Dan Aykroyd said that aliens won't visit us because they're too advanced, but if they were, they won't anymore, because of 9/11.

That's not why they're not visiting us.

they're not visiting us because we make jokes out of our own bodily functions us the adolescents of our species find it funny.

Aliems: Fly away from Earth, because this is this is embarrassing for not only the human race, but...

Cats? I don't know. It's embarrassing, I mean. Going back to the animation,

For two episodes they literally use animation from the old show (you said that already, dumbass)

One of which is from the film, because they don't even bother going back to look for any other old episodes.

And then, in the first season, one of the first few ones is literally just these really bad puppets, like, marionettes.

The construction of Robin's mouth, you know, for the puppet, probably has more work put into it than the rest of the entire show, all combined.

At the end, they couldn't even get, or couldn't even come up, with an original design for a normal puppet,

so they had to do a stupid fucking sock puppet. Speaking of unoriginal ideas,

there was an episode where they fully ripped off "The Goonies". They delayed that episode for about a year, because they probably thought:

Writer 1: Should we release it?

Writer 2: We're too lazy to come up with another one so release it who gives a fuck?

Of course they did release it, then little 4-year-olds ate it up.

They think it's clever because it's referencing it. It's like they were gonna do a basic outline because, you know, no original ideas,

But then, they're like:

Writer 1: What if people find out? What if people think this is too similar?

Moron 2: What do you mean? Leople who watch this don't think. They don't have enough brain capacity.

Jackass 1: Well, we should just be safe for the older audience that comes across this and wants to fucking blow their brains out.

Jackass 2: Oh, let's just make it even closer to the Goonies, cus that's it'll be like a parody

Like you know that I think is called the truffle shuffle like that was hilarious cuz it was like

It was like a way, you know to get into the house you have to embarrass yourself

based on like a

Physical attribute, but then and Teen Titans go the booty scooty

Forget it. I almost missed the joke, but then I realize you know booty scooty

You damn writers are clever

Anyways, this is just robin twerking somehow going back and forth when he's just like jumping ares like doing the moonwalk

But without moving this feat. Don't know how to fuck that works, I mean

Oh, there's Teen Titans go. I'm looking into it too much and

then

After that there's a part where like a giant octopus comes out you know and like the pirate ship. I was like

Oh, there's an original idea. I was like wait. What if it's like a deleted scene or something sure enough I look online

It's a deleted scene where this giant octopus comes up and starts like grabbing at them

Which by the way that would have been awesome?

I wish they kept that in but it's fine, so then oh by the way. I mean the Goonies not

I wish they get nothing in 15 times go so yeah

There's also an episode where they reference spider-man so apparently Marvel exists in this universe

um

Does anyone know the name of the creator of Batman because I forgot I was gonna make a joke

it's probably not even a joke but it probably made the creator of Batman roll over in his grave the

Just you know obviously all the show did but then the fact that Marvel exists in the DC Universe

Because they're like oh, let's reference a better superhero of course you know their

Arch-nemesis Slade Wilson or you know Deathstroke? He was and

Ernõ he was rumored to be in an episode where it shows like his face

You know and it's like the big marketing thing is like oh my god

They're finally gonna have Slade made this be the episode were Teen Titans go gets good

And I everyone was on the internet like oh my god anybody might be good now. I was like made me hopefully

Please please make this show good. It's not it wasn't even them fighting Slade

It was just like we've got to go Slade turn it

And then they come back it's like oh look an evil clown

And the kids were like well Slade was at the point of like you know the episode the my marketed as if it was

Waitwhy market it.why market it as if it was because then that's it's basically clickbait for TV

to like

fate

It's just so obnoxious and as if all this wasn't bad enough already. They've got to make a movie

Teen Titans go to the movies it's bad

But at least it's not you know reusing the title of an old

or of the original film in your franchise

I mean especially when it's the third time that titles used in the franchise that gets pretty ridiculous

But Halloween's a better title 19 Titans go to movies so

Get some you loose some you know well in this case shield you lose all

So let's just look at the trailer shall we let's look at the two trailers for this

Like this close to her head

This wasn't even topical when the show came out

Sir could you please back the fuck away from the camera

Well I'm not getting too excited

It's like the dumbasses making this didn't even know what to put here, so they're like actually let's just put a

Cliche thing cuz that's smart cliche is smart now

Get it because all superhero movies suck. There's one good one not not a single good one

So hopefully they all end and that of course is ignoring the fact that there were too lazy to animate

They're not even animate just draw a sky and cloud, so they had to pull it stock image off of Google

But you know that's another crucial part of the show

And if you feel the need for me to address this I think we have a problem

And I don't even want to touch the cringy Aquaman reference at the end now next trailer

Get it cuz it makes no sense that they would put our off

At alfred's name first

You know you're awful at comedy when your joke is so predictable yet makes no sense

How narcissistic is Warner Brothers to put in their logo twice in their own phone

Well dude, that's pretty ballsy of them to put that joke in the film

I mean it wow what an epic win because that joke has never been made before

They're really breaking new ground here being fuckin cringy

You know the only reason I'm gonna see this movie is just to see Nicholas Cage finally be Superman

But if he doesn't overact I swear to god. I'm gonna demand my money back, and I'm not even kidding

I will raise hell if he doesn't overact

Sweet another Marvel reference also cheap reference to a better movie

Of the closet

At least crickets find it funny

And I'm not interested in watching the entire movie

What the fuck cheap reference to a better movie

Wait how would he know about that episode?

What?

Unless he's stalking them and this is a cliffhanger

I will watch the movie the data's released in theatres

And you can bet your sweet little pretty boy tits that it will be right here when it's released

but for now

You just gotta wait unless you're watching this video when it's released in which case do just click on the rectangle things

EMBARRASSING TIMES WE GOT CAUGHT #2 | Dolan True Stories - Duration: 10:04.

• From re-enacting Lord of the Rings to checking out your reflection in a window,

the Planet Dolan crew re-enact some of the best true stories from our subreddit about

the most embarrassing things someone has seen us do.

I'm Nixxiom and today I'll be your narrator.

Number 10 was submitted by EliseDaSnareChick Pandora

One afternoon Pandora decided to watch the whole Lord of the Rings trilogy from start

to finish.

When she got halfway through the second movie her dad suddenly stormed in and said, "Get

your lazy ass outside and mow the lawn!"

Pandora dragged herself outside.

As she was mowing she started reciting lines from the Lord of the Rings.

She even left the mower idling to reenact a battle scene.

Thinking she was alone, she got really into it and jumped around killing Hobbits with

her imaginary hammer.

She then looked up and let out an epic Orc battle cry.

That's when she noticed her dad and neighbour had been watching her the whole time.

They were staring at her like she belonged in an insane asylum.

Pandora went bright red and tried to act like nothing had happened…

Number 9 was submitted by xShad0wL0rdx Pringle One time Pringle was coming home from college

when he got the sudden urge to look at himself.

He looked around and saw that the street was empty.

Then he found a parked car with dark tinted windows and started checking himself out.

He thought "Damn!

I look good!"

Then he tilted his head and struck a few poses.

Just as he was doing duckface the car's window started rolling down.

Pringle was so shocked he jumped.

Inside there were two hot girls who pointed at him and laughed.

One of them whistled at Pringle and shouted, "Looking good, stud!"

Pringle was so ashamed that he ran all the way home…

Number 8 was submitted by Mizz-AnOnYmOuS Doopie One time Doopie and her family took a trip

to Reno.

They were staying at a fancy hotel and spent most of their time in the pool.

One afternoon Doopie was swimming laps when she came across a lizard hanging out by the

edge of the pool.

Being young and curious, Doopie wondered what would happen if she dribbled spit on its head,

so she did it!

The lizard took it like a champ and barely reacted at all.

Once her experiment was complete Doopie looked up and saw a leathery-skinned fat couple watching

her from their sun beds.

They looked disgusted!

Doopie suddenly felt really embarrassed.

She learnt an important lesson that day: normal people don't dribble on lizards…

Number 7 was submitted by Keaton0801 Grgak Ever since he was born Grgak has been cursed

with a deviated septum.

This means he gets lots of gushy anime-style nosebleeds.

One time in seventh grade he got a nosebleed in science class.

At first he thought it was just a runny nose so he casually wiped it on his shorts.

But when the teacher noticed he was dripping blood everywhere Grgak rushed to the nurse's

office.

The nurse was able to stop the bleeding, but Grgak couldn't change out of his blood-stained

shorts because the school had a very strict dress code and he had nothing else to wear.

So for the rest of the day Grgak had to walk around with a big blood stain on his crotch.

The other kids teased him all day long about getting his period, and he got called 'Period

Boy' for the rest of the school year.

It was a rough time for Grgak…

Number 6 was submitted by SpinalPalm One time SpinalPalm got humiliated in front

of the whole school at the end of year dance.

He was doing a couple's dance with this tiny girl from his class.

The girl gave him a little spin, just like they'd practiced all week, and SpinalPalm

collapsed on the floor in pain.

He started screaming that his shoulder was dislocated and the whole dance had to be stopped!

It turned out he'd injured his shoulder during wrestling the day before.

This little dance move was all it took to finish the dislocation – not that anyone

in the dance hall knew that!

They just laughed because they thought his tiny dance partner was too strong for him.

In the end SpinalPalm was rushed to hospital and the school had to ban couple's dancing.

Number 5 was submitted by FreakyGhostgirl Melissa

Melissa comes from a very strict household where all candy is banned.

One day her friend gave her a big stack of leftover Trick or Treat candy.

Melissa knew she wouldn't be able to get the candy in her house unless she hid it so

she stuffed it in her underwear.

Her parents inspected her schoolbag and gave her the all clear, so she ran up to her room

to dispose of the evidence.

When she got there, Melissa shoved her hands in her pants to take out the candy just as

her mom opened the bedroom door!

It looked really bad for Melissa but she couldn't tell the truth or her candy would get taken

away!

The candy had made a big bulge in the back of Melissa's underwear so her mum assumed

that she'd had an accident in her pants.

Melissa was grounded for five weeks, but at least she got to eat all her delicious candy

contraband.

Number 4 was submitted by overkill97 MKyleM One time MKyleM really needed to pee after

drinking a whole bottle of water.

He ran into the local library to use their bathroom.

When he finished he went to wash his hands but noticed the tap was really old and stiff.

He turned it as hard as he could and the water came blasting out.

It went all over the basin and completely soaked the crotch of his pants.

MKyleM didn't want anyone to think he'd pissed himself so turned on the hand dryer

and thrusted his crotch towards the hot air.

At that moment, a man walked into the bathroom with his young son.

MKyleM's face went bright red.

He knew how bad seeing a guy drying his junk in a public library bathroom must look.

He tried to explain that the sink had splashed him but the man had already left to grab security.

MKyleM never went back to that library again…

Number 3 was submitted by KKbear5529 Ramona When Ramona was a senior in high school she

took a very embarrassing fall in front of the entire school cafeteria.

She'd just been dumped by her boyfriend so she decided to come to school looking her

absolute best.

To show him what he was missing she put on heels, got her hair and makeup done and wore

the nicest dress she owned.

At lunchtime Ramona knew her boyfriend was looking at her so she got her food from the

cafeteria and walked confidently back to her table.

But she was so busy strutting her stuff that she didn't notice a Jolly Rancher candy

on the floor.

She stood on it with her heel and fell right on the floor.

Her tray of food went flying and salad, slushie and chocolate milk landed all over her!

Ramona's ex-boyfriend and the entire cafeteria laughed at her.

Her favourite dress was ruined, she had to go to the nurse and she had to wear a cast

for weeks because of how badly she hurt her ankle.

Number 2 was submitted by Mote-of-Lobross Hellbent

When Hellbent was a teenager he liked to hang out at a place called 'The Clubhouse'.

It was an awesome hangout for stoners and runaways, and the place where a lot of crazy

pranks happened.

One time Hellbent was using The Clubhouse shower when someone quietly picked the lock

on the bathroom door.

Without Hellbent noticing they snuck in, stole all his clothes and hung them at the top of

the tallest tree outside.

Hellbent had to walk through the house butt naked.

Then he had to go outside in the cold winter weather and climb the tree to get his clothes

while everyone from The Clubhouse laughed at him.

It was definitely one of the most embarrassing moments of his life…

The Truth Is That Acting Is Lying by Choice Skinner - Duration: 10:07.

Film Courage: Uou talk about being a teacher and we are in Sherman Oaks at the young actor

space. a beautiful studio here. I've seen a lot of actors in the hallway I know

you've crossed paths with I'm sure so many young actors they're new to LA. So

in your first class with those actors what are some of the things that you're

going over with them? Is it about craft or is it just about balance? Choice Skinner, Actor, Director, Instructor: It's really

never about the craft because sometimes I get actors that studied in college and

they come to me with a degree and I'm like okay well I have to watch them you

know I always say the the they always ask me do you have an audit and that's

why I have a working audit I want to see you on stage I want to throw you to the

wolves I want you to have that focus and that discipline that's necessary to see

if you can fit in what I got going on the craft listen we are all good liars

everybody is and that to me is the ultimate form of acting acting is lying

and I've said it before no one likes that term because no one wants to be

coined a liar but that's what acting is and you're taking a scene that was

written by somebody that made it up it doesn't exist okay now in a galaxy long

long far far away it doesn't exist okay but you're taking the elements of that

script and you're saying okay we're gonna make this real life now we're

gonna make this the truth and the actors have to read those lines and they have

to believe in what they're saying and they have to get a response and they got

to get us to relate it's all a lie it's not real

none of it is real yeah they created a robotic r2d2 and c3po that people dress

up like Princess Leia stuff but that wasn't real it came from George Lucas's

mind it's not real and so if I focused with an actor on technique or or or

craft they're never going to get to the essence of what acting is which is

knowing self getting to know self getting to be okay with self getting to

be okay with exposing self revealing the layers peeling the onion layers away

getting to understand how it takes a person to be to be able to

cry or laugh or be sexual or or to be uncomfortable in a comfortable

environment or comfortable in an uncomfortable environment that has

nothing to do with crap that has everything to do itself the duration of

doing the work yes that makes anybody comfortable can anybody act I mean

there's a debate on that I believe that the best actors are the most brave I

believe that those who study to understand human behavior are the most

brave so for me right off the bat when I get to see someone on stage I got a feel

of who they are and I know where to help them or to not even help them sometimes

I say this class is not right for you because it's not about the money it's

about bringing powerful a list actors to the front I always say why a list actors

because working actors don't always work alias actors work when they want to work

julie rob has had kids took time off came back do anything she wants it's a

big difference to me so it's never about the craft it's always to me about people

getting to know who they are and then once you get to know who you are the

next level is disciplining yourself to where you're amazing on set and

everybody likes you and everybody loves you because it's all love we're all

getting to do something we love why would you want to be difficult why would

you want to bring in you know all your videos or your your little eccentric

behavior nobody wants that we want to make great films one of work and so my

work process or my approach with actors is getting them to know that they are

brilliant and that they're great and I always say my term is greatness

recognizes greatness I am great because you agree so if you're great I'm great I

love that and I just thought of something in the moment and that is you

talk about knowing oneself have you seen people that aren't classically trained

or have very little formal education come in and just know themselves and

then also the opposite absolutely I have several actors like that right now in my

class one in particular Sheen's of just the Phenom and so my thing is like

sometimes when actors come I figure out okay what do they need do they need more

internal work do they need more external work you know because everyone works

differently some people work from the inside out and some from the outside in

so sometimes it's just the thing of the material because they're brave they just

don't have any focus so they don't have any discipline and so you give them the

material and that material will help to mold them and to shape them and to put

them in the direction that they're in then you have on the other end the actor

who comes in who is just a difficult actor and maybe they studied and they

they went to a prestigious school and they don't understand why their career

is not taking off and so then it's like okay well listen they always tell me

they said well I need you if you can challenge me you can challenge me beat

me up if I have no enjoyment in doing that you know for me I have a no

pressure policy because how else are you gonna be ready to work on a feature film

and you have it's a 92 page feature film and you have 90 pages of dialogue if

you're getting your head about having to be able to do all of that there's a

pressure that comes with it that's where most people start to veer off into drugs

and alcohol or become belligerent angry and because the pressure for me it's the

thing to of understanding that the work is not about pressure the work is love

and so guiding them into that scenario sometimes it's tough because they've

already had this type of background where they've been structured you know

they've been taught diligently like it's learning your lines you know there is a

difference between film acting and stage acting and television actor there's the

differences but they're all acting and so not one is better than the other

they're all important in my opinion but sometimes you get someone who will say

you know I'm a great actor because I'm a theatre actor I'm a great actor because

I took TV it's like no you're an actor you know you must respect all of the

mediums the same so I get a bit of both but I tend to like those

who are empaths because empath actor are easier to mold

because they're already in touch with their emotions you just got to get past

what stops them from being open and being raw but once you're able to mold

them Marlon Brando you know Meryl Streep Denzel Washington the impasse they feel

everything you blow on them they feel it it's the best actor to me not taking

anything from the discipline actor they're just a little more heady and it

takes takes a little bit more work to get them away from that I got actors in

my class like that too and you know it's like okay how long is it gonna take

before you let go you know stop thinking because they think you know I always say

we talk about the roller coaster ride acting it's like a roller coaster ride

right you have you have the roller coaster rides all the rides that and uh

you know the different amusement parks where you may have some like the

Superman right we're just drops but you line up you're going 100 miles an hour

you just drop you can't control yourself right and then you have some that twist

and turn and go and that's the real process of acting we don't want to know

what's gonna happen we just want to be surprised

it's got to be random but at the same time you got to be able to relate so the

the heady actor is like okay I want you to relate I'm going to do these things

to make you relate he imagined Valentine's Day you plan out everything

you're gonna do with the other person no you know it's like you want to surprise

people you want to say hey look at this look at that look at this you do your

best to figure out what they like but at the same time it's got to be spontaneous

hmm how can you spot that impact you know they say we all have intuition but

some have higher levels maybe Raman empath okay so but I I I always say that

we all block who we really are there are three sides to we are who we think we

are who others think we are who we really are

those three masks that we wear the empath depending on what their

background is some people you know have been through a lot of things in life and

they encase themselves for me and acting once

a person gets on stage they can't hide I've yet to find one person that could

hide from that moment because something happens in an uncomfortable environment

if you can make someone comfortable in an uncomfortable environment they tend

to show who they are they tend to be more who they are and those signs appear

and you see them they're much more prevalent and they're easier to spot and

so for impacts usually it's a thing of feeling they are the feel from the

outside in or the inside out something emotional you will strike them and we

have an exercise where when I get all the actors on stage and I make them

close their eyes and I say ok and I want them to see things and I say see this or

see that see this the empath will always fall apart they I haven't had it happen

where one wasn't in that space they always fall apart even if they're

holding on and they're trying not to cry or they're trying not to feel something

they always fall apart every time

you

How To Build A Real Estate Website With Wordpress [VIDEO #1] - Duration: 2:03.

This video is the first in a series of videos showing you how to build a real estate website

using Wordpress.

Hi I'm Curtis Penner and I've been using Wordpress to build websites since the early 2000's.

I owned a personal training business back then and I didn't have any money to pay a

developer or spend money to have somebody build a website for me.

So I really had to dive in and learn how to use WordPress on my own.

Since then I've built dozens and dozens of websites for myself, personally for my businesses

as well as for clients.

I built websites in the areas of landscaping, truck driving, dog grooming, for my piano

teacher, for personal trainers and many others.

And so what I want to do with this series is really make it easy for you to go from

having no website right now or having a website that maybe you're not really happy with to

having a fully functional, lead generating, client pleasing real estate website using

Wordpress when we're all done with the series.

So I'm going to take you step by step through the entire process that I would use if I was

building a real estate website for myself or for a client.

I'm going to take it from from the very beginning to the very end and show you exactly how to

do it.

Now rather than give you one long 3-hour video to wade through I've broken the process up

into small, easily digestible chunks.

So you'll be able to take action on that step and move onto the next video.

Now, I've included a link down in the description below to the playlist that's going to contain

all of the videos for this series.

So you'll be able to go there and watch, in succession, one video after another.

And of course, if you have any comments, questions, or even constructive criticism for the course,

by all means leave them down below in the comments section and I'll do my very best

to get to each and every one of them.

And finally if you're interested in learning how to harness the power of online marketing

to become the lead real estate agent in your market, then consider subscribing to the channel

so you don't miss out on any great future content.

So I'll see you in the next video.

Thanks for watching.

I'm Curtis Penner.

April Books Wrap Up/May TBR | BookTube - Duration: 16:42.

I'm not surprised I failed my first attempt of a TBR mug.

Hello, I'm Rogan and welcome to my April book wrap up.

This month, I read 13 books. All but one were from the library.

I'm just going to get into the books, because we have a lot to cover today.

The first book I read this month: Upstream.

This story is set in Alaska, and follows a girl who's lived there all her life.

It's very clear from the beginning that her boyfriend died, but we don't know yet how he died, why he died.

So she's going on with her life, trying to deal with the loss of (him).

This is a short book. Not that hard to read, I finished it in a couple hours.

It's a good story, but not mind-blowing and wow!

Yeah, if you like stories set in Alaska, outdoor stories, this is a good read.

Deadpool Classic Vol. 3. When I got this from the library, I thought it was Vol. 1.

I looked all over the book, and could not find anything that said what volume it was,

so I assumed that meant it was number one.

Turns out, when I pulled it up on GoodReads for adding it to my list, it said Vol. 3.

Great labeling. So I… It's Deadpool, you know the comics. No need to explain more.

I personally wasn't that into this one.

It may just be because it's Vol. 3, and it may be because it's not what I was really expecting from Deadpool.

I know, I'm bad, I have expectations from the movie, and I tried to apply that to the book. No.

A Darker Shade of Magic. I was expecting to like this when I got it, I'd seen a few recommendations. So, fine.

I got it and oh, wow. I really like it. I made this my recommendation for Kathy.

She did a "BookTube picks her TBR" (video), so I put in A Darker Shade of Magic for that.

And it's basically multiple dimensions, multiple Londons, and only a few specific people can travel between

the different Londons. They're parallel Londons. And there's a lot of magic in this.

This is a really fun book if you like magic and fantasy, this is great.

I have the second book, [A Gathering of Shadows], already waiting for me (in) e-book (form).

So I'm excited to read that.

The Street of a Thousand Blossoms. This was very touching.

This is set in Japan in 1939, I believe, and this follows two boys who grew up in Tokyo.

One has dreams of becoming a sumo warrior. The other has dreams of becoming a (Noh) mask artist.

It's their story of growing up through the war, the end of the war… It's really good.

It starts when they're about eight, nine years old, around that age, all the way to adulthood.

This is partly based on true events, partly made up. I was very touched by this.

It talks about war, and it doesn't really shy away from being graphic. So…

Be warned if you read this, be warned.

This is a really good story of family, friends, love, and more. It's great.

The Kite Runner.

Really, really brilliant move Rogan, reading this and The Street of a Thousand Blossoms at the same time.

Great move.

The Kite Runner is set in Afghanistan over the past 30 years.

It starts about 30 years ago, when the monarchy in Afghanistan was collapsing, and war was starting.

It follows two boys, really one is the main character, and the other is his friend.

The main character, the story is from his perspective.

His father is wealthy, part of the ruling class, he had a good life.

The war hit, so he escaped, eventually moved to America…

He writes the story about his experiences in the war, his guilt with leaving his friend, what things happened.

I don't want to tell you too much because this requires you to really read it.

But I will warn you, there is sexual assault in this, and obviously, violence from the war, obviously.

And just, heavy topics are in this book. So be aware of that.

I did think this was really well-written, so if you feel you can handle it, read this.

Next is my new favorite sci-fi book, The Long Way to a Small, Angry Planet. Y e s.

This story is mostly set in a spaceship that is responsible for creating wormholes for ships to

travel across the galaxy a lot faster.

It has a lot of queer rep and diversity. Now, diversity— not necessarily in color diversity, but species diversity.

It still has parallels with racial diversity, so that part is good.

It will have a lot of mentions of racism, and touching on those topics. But the queer stuff is just… Okay, cool.

It's there, no one blinks when two women are together, two men are together, or alien with human.

Whatever goes, goes. This is fantastic.

It does touch on some semi-heavy topics, and I think it was done really well.

I loved this book, so yes, definitely read it.

Next, The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo. YES. Yes. Read this. No question.

This is basically about Evelyn Hugo. She's a famous billionaire, she's been in movies her whole life.

Now, she has, for her whole life, rarely given interviews.

So one day, she contacts the news and says she wants to do an interview with this specific person, Monique.

She wants only her, they don't understand why, but okay. They sit down… Oh.

Turns out, Evelyn wants her to write her biography.

Now, her reason for doing that is kept a secret until much later, so I will let you read that for yourself.

What she's famous for is her seven husbands.

But what most people don't really know, or not really advertise, is that she's bisexual.

And her greatest love in life is not one of those husbands.

This woman is amazing, and yes. I love this book. Everyone needs to read it, like, ASAP.

All Out: The No-Longer Secret Stories of Queer Teens Throughout the Ages.

It's exactly what it seems like. It's an anthology of different stories of queer teens through different eras.

Some are set in the 1950s, some in the 1700s, it varies. All over the place, but mostly in America and Europe.

Bummer, I wish it was a little more diverse in that aspect.

But in attraction and identity, the diversity is fantastic. Racial diversity is fantastic.

These are written by a lot of really great authors.

If you have the opportunity to read this book, do it. Yes.

I really—it's very interesting, because some of the stories are classic fairy tales, given a new life

with queer representation in it. Some are just original stories. It's a great mix of stories.

A Closed and Common Orbit. This is the second one to The Long Way to a Small, Angry Planet, and yes.

It was not exactly what I was expecting. I didn't read the synopsis for this, so I was reading it a little confused.

Oh, it's a little different. It picks up pretty much right after the first book ends, but it starts somewhere else,

and it focuses on a different group of people, not the first group. It wasn't bad, I really enjoyed it actually.

Just be aware of that if you go into reading this.

Reign of the Fallen. This story is basically about necromancers, people who raise the dead.

But not in the way you expect.

This story is about a royal family that has been ruling for centuries. I mean, literally.

Like, the king has been king for 200 years or so. So how do they do this? Necromancers.

They will bring them back from the dead. Every two or three years, they kill him, then bring him back again.

The reason why they do this is because if they stay in the real world too long, they will become something

called a Shade. Another way of becoming a Shade is being exposed to the living.

Shades are awful monsters that will just destroy everything in their way.

This story was really good, it has queer representation, it has diversity. It's great. Yes, read it.

Renegades. I love the cover! This is basically a superhero story.

This is a world where people have powers, but they're called prodigies, not supers or whatever, prodigies.

And back then, years and years ago, they were afraid and had to hide, keep their powers secret

and not show them. Until the Age of Anarchy. The government collapsed, schools shut down, everything.

No control, no systems, nothing. Just a free-for-all. And this was instigated by people who have powers.

Then came the golden days.

A group of supers called Renegades came in and stopped them, brought order back.

So the Renegades grew and became a big team.

This follows, specifically, a child whose parents died during Anarchy, and she hates the Renegades.

For a reason that will be told in the story.

I… When I first started reading this, I was thinking an usual superhero story, cool, fine.

After reading some, I was surprised. They show both the good side and the bad side, but also the gray area.

Also, when I was further a little more, I started being reminded of The Incredibles a lot.

I guess maybe because of the trailers from Incredibles 2.

They're kind of bringing back supers into the public eye, because they had a point where people were angry,

didn't like them, and didn't want them anymore. So they went into hiding, and now bringing them back.

I guess that's what I was reminded of?

In Other Lands. This is… I laughed several times reading this.

I want to read you the first line from this. "So far, magical school was total rubbish."

That's a great way to open a book. So. This story is not set in our world.

There are only a few humans who can see a magical wall between our world and the otherlands.

The otherlands have everything—magic, trolls, elves, harpies, mermaids, and so on.

Elliott is the main character, he was given the choice of either going and training in the army on this side,

or stay in his world. He decided to join. The story goes from there.

Adventure, learning about the Borderlands, that's what they call it. Being in military training.

I really enjoyed this. It also has queer rep.

The queer rep in this is really interesting, because it's almost not a big deal, but at the same time,

occasionally and in specific situations, it is a big deal.

I thought that was really interesting, how the author decided to approach this.

I enjoyed reading this, I laughed several times like I said, it was… Elliott, the lead character…

I can relate to him, he has SNARK and attitude, it's great. I love him.

I would like to mention, Elliott is a little bit of a jerk.

A little bit? No. He is often a jerk. But he does grow and learn from that.

Next and last, The Elephant in the Brain. This was a really great book.

The sub-title says "Hidden Motives in Everyday Life." It basically looks at the psychology, kind of psychology.

But it looks at the reasons WHY we do the things that we do.

Like for example, we do things to be altruistic, do good. But behind that, really?

Are we really doing it to be nice, or are we doing it to serve ourselves?

Or are we doing it to raise our social status? Things like that.

It did a lot of variety, looking at different areas in human lives like education, politics, medicine, and so on.

And looked at and asked, is it really effective or what's the real reason why we do things this way.

I really enjoyed it, it's a fascinating topic.

So if you like psychology, if you like trying to understand why we do the things we do, this is a good read.

At the beginning of this video, I said of course I would fail at my first attempt for a TBR jar. Well.

I just happened to get a lot of books from the library, and oops.

So I will seriously aim and try to read more this month. My three books for last month.

I read…

This one.

But these two, I will try to read at least one of them this month.

So now is time for…picking three for this month.

I'm not going to go and get the books, I'm just going to show them here.

Touchy Subjects by Emma Donoghue. Okay. That should be good.

The Innocent by Harlan Coben. Okay.

I was kind of hoping for another book. Oh well.

Cyclops by Clive Cussler. That's right there, I've been waiting to read that one.

That's my three books for this month. Hopefully I will read at least two of them, plus one of those books.

Yeah. Okay, I am going to finish.

Thanks for watching. Let me know if you want to read any of these books, or if you've read any of them,

Trump changes story about hush money paid to porn star Stormy Daniels - Duration: 0:50.

U.S. President Donald Trump has changed his story about a 130-thousand-dollar hush money

payment made to porn star Stormy Daniels, with whom he's accused of having an affair.

In a series of Thursday morning tweets, Trump said his lawyer Michael Cohen, who paid Daniels

the hush money, was reimbursed for the payment during the 2016 presidential campaign.

But Trump said the money did not come from campaign funds, which would be illegal.

The tweets came after Trump's new lawyer Rudy Giuliani told Fox News that Trump reimbursed

Cohen with his own money.

Trump also remained adamant there was no affair with Daniels and said the non-disclosure agreement

was to stop the false and extortionist accusations made by her.

His comments contradict his previous remarks in which he said he had no knowledge of the

payment to Daniels.
