Dribbling and Kicking Drill for Soccer - Duration: 2:55.

Hello guys ,this is Gabriel Carrera from best soccer tricks dot com. So today

we have a great drill, where we implement shooting and dribbling okay. We're going to

start with dribbling the ball. It's like you have somebody else, you receive the ball from the sides.

From this side, or either sides.

And you have a man in front of you. We have set up two cones here in front of me

So what I'm going to do is that

I'm receiving the ball from the sides... Sometimes or you can have the ball next

to you. So what you want to do when the practice is the movement movement in you

knees you like this, okay and you want to have a quick movement, like you're going

one side and you go the other way. So quick movement okay, quick movement again. Let's

go you want to see, I'm bending the knees. I'm bending the knees, I'm going this side and I go

okay. This is going to allow me to create space and then take the shot okay.

It's really important, sometimes we don't have enough time to... You know, to get to

have the ball here. So you have to have a quick movement and shoot it right away.

Okay so I'm going to show you, I'm going to show you the soccer drill. Once you have to

be able to to do that step, the second step would be to shoot. You can

either shoot it with the inside or with the laces depending on how much time you

have. If you have no time, you have to shoot it with the inside if the foot.

If you have little more time maybe with the laces okay. So here we're going to show it.

You dribble with the soccer ball.

[Player doing a soccer drill.]

Shoot it and then you take another one, okay.

Again, just play with the ball a little bit. Go again.

[Player doing a soccer drill.]

Place the soccer ball as close to the corners as possible, you know.

[Player doing a soccer dribbling and kicking drill.]

That's it guys, I hope you enjoyed. It's a simple soccer drill, but it's essential because it's

going to make it realistic a little bit, it's going to make you put yourself in a

position, a realistic position where you have to take one quick step and

shoot the ball. I hope you enjoyed it. Make sure you like this video, subscribe to our

channel, we have great soccer videos coming up so make sure to join this

channel and thank you guys for watching.

DIY Christmas Advent Calendar - HGTV Handmade - Duration: 5:10.

Hi guys, I'm Karen Kavett, welcome back to HGTV Handmade.

So who's ready for holiday DIYs?

I mean, Halloween is fun, but Christmas is my ultimate favorite time of year.

Today to get a head start on our Christmas decorating, I'm going to show you how to

make an advent calendar out of paper and gift boxes, it's so easy.

It's gonna look like a mini forest, super cute, let's get into it.

So you're going to start with all the green craft paper you have, and this is a great

project to use up any scraps that you've been holding onto.

Then grab a scrap piece of paper, fold it in half, and cut out some triangles.

You'll want a few different sizes for all your different trees.

Then pick a triangle and trace it twice onto your first piece of green paper.

Now cut halfway up from the bottom on one triangle, and you'll want to cut a tiny

slit that's the same width as the thickness of the paper.

Repeat that on the top of the other triangle.

Then slide them together to get a Christmas tree.

Now this step is optional, but to make the tree trunk, you can grab a dowel or a wooden

skewer and use a saw to cut it into teeny tiny pieces.

Use a dot of hot glue to glue it onto the bottom of the tree.

And there you go, that's how you make a mini paper Christmas tree.

Now if you have craft paper that's not double sided, don't worry, we can work with that.

Just cut out a square and use a gluestick to glue it onto the back of the paper.

And then you can follow all the same steps.

So you're going to want 24 mini Christmas trees.

You can also make a bigger sparkly tree for Christmas Day if you want to.

Alright so, to label each day in our calendar, you could totally write this out by hand or

print it from the computer, but I decided to use letter stamps to get an organic, homemade

vibe.

So now that we have all of our pieces made, it's time to put them together.

I'm using these tiny gift boxes that I got from the party store for 60 cents each.

Just put down a dot of hot glue to glue the tree onto the lid.

And then use a gluestick to glue down the number.

And repeat that for all of the gift boxes.

For Christmas Day, I decided to glue mini stars to the top of my tree.

And I used a larger box because that's where the extra special present is going to go.

And finally, to display the calendar, I arranged mine on some wooden slabs which I painted

with white paint.

Once the paint is dry, there's no real method here, just throw them on there randomly.

And that's it.

I think this makes such a cute centerpiece for your table, and we made it out of just

paper, hot glue, and gift boxes.

You could fill up each box with a tiny present like earrings, or write down a holiday activity

to do every day in December.

So I would love to know in a comment if you're making or buying an advent calendar this year.

And tell me what you're gonna fill it up with.

I know that the makeup ones are really popular, or you could fill it up with chocolate, that

sounds good, that's the one that I want.

So make sure to like this video and subscribe for new DIYs every single week and I'll

see you guys next time.

REACTING TO CHADA RAWBARZ RAP BATTLE!! - Duration: 11:20.

Hey guys what's up welcome back to my YouTube channel so today we're going to be watching rap battles, bad rap battles

please forgive me (song playing)

ready ok now this video was sent to me by Suman gurung

dear James Shrestha this video is ridiculous I reported this video

immediately after wasting my few seconds only few seconds only

I felt so disappointed with those kids especially those who captured and the

ones who uploaded thank you

now I can understand his frustration

because he was probably chilling with his family

with his 42 inch TV surfing on Youtube, about to watch Raw Barz

now after watching many raw barz rap battles, enjoying the battles, he somehow landed on the dirty raw barz

his family watching it, mum dad are you ready?

he then pressed play like a film hero,

listen sheep, your gonna eat my beans,

I have a banana, to give your mamma, I will give you 10 pence bring me some protection.

now I know the frustration, I know now you might have

experienced this, when watching english movies, you know

Hollywood movie, what happens in Hollywood movies

kiss scenes, bed scenes, and you know it doesn't stop there! you guys know it!

and you get to such an awkward situation

this is why I don't watch movies with my families these days!

so in this type of situation you can go with these three options

just go to your room quietly

change the channel

or watch it freely without any care or concerns

mm... wow mm.. mum dad are you guys enjoying that?

they're taking the knickers off now! I love this scene!

yeah the third option (laughs)

it's just the imagination

now talking about the dirty talking skills, we all have that skills

ok now let's not call that a skill (laughs)

I said skills (laughs)

anyways lets watch this video because (laughs)

anyways the video that I'm going to watch has some bad stuff

so before watching this video, please read this!

(Song Playing) please forgive me (repeat x3)

anyways guys lets go ahead and watch this video

ladies and gentleman please keep silence here

we are in RawBarz, let's introduce our artists

here in my right hand side we have the banana gang

and here in my left hand side we have the beans gang! (oh my god!)

my god! banana gang and beans gang

what the hello, look at that kid wearing Brazil's t shirt

looks like he just got himself a lollipop

(laughs)

oh my god!

when that boy wearing Barcelona jersey started rapping, I thought even though it's not a good rap

it was normal, but this fellow started talking about mum and it was unbearable!

what the h , what the h

bro! okay now this is getting a little disgusting!

now if this video was not recorded and uploaded on Youtube

and they just did it for fun within the group, then it would have been funny

but obviously kids saying those things is not good!

oh my god! who the h was that!

ok now these kids are not playin raw barz, they are playing dirty barz

what the...

don't say that word bro don't ever say that word P okay

that word starting with P, please

that sounds so bad!

specially when kids are saying it!

this is not the first time hearing those words,

I have heard it before as well! but when hearing it from kids, it makes me cringe

okay I'm sure this is funny to a lot of people, let's read the comments

kids you guys are embarrassing your own mum and dad

these kids should be grounded and they will know the real rap battle!

beep, these slums! go pick up plastic all of you! okay! not gonna say that word!

for these kids, dirty sewage water is enough! (laughs)

the kid who looked like he just got lollipop entered the battle

I was thinking what is he going to say

for these kids, dirty sewage water is enough! (laughs)

my friend!

well done boy, well done!

at least this kid is not saying any dirty things!

nom nom Rose of the USANA very neurotic

now there are limits to you

what the hell bro I need you here again

are you guys saying

ew! someone just spit!

he's probably a camera man!

he's spitting behind the camera! people are rap battling, he is spitting

honestly, when I'm watching this video, the feeling of cringe is just...

I can't believe i'm watching this video right now

what am i doing my friends!

(laughs)

this kid is always jumping in the middle to rap.

but at least even though this kid is rapping bad, he is not saying any bad things!

round of applause for this kid

well done bro! well done!

everyone is thinking!

what?

what?

now I'm pretty sure that you guys already know

that this raw barz, this dirty barz does not make sense at all

oh no!

okay when he said the first two lines, it was funny, the dance bar sexy thing, yes

now even though you are using bad words, why include your mum or sister, I don't get it!

(laughs)

(cringing)

(laughs)

this kid again! a very funny line! better than other kids!

(laughs) my dad drives a truck, your dad drives a truck

my dad drives a truck

(laughs)

now these kids are too much

till now only that kid wearing yellow is rapping without saying any bad things

rap? what can I say about the rap, it's only that kid who has not said any bad things

(laughs)

(cringing) why?

you little wimp! I know what to do with you now!

your gonna get it now!

your gonna get my slap now!

till now I have been supporting you and saying good things about you!

kid! you! broke my respect!

you know these words these kids are using, P, M, L like it's

it's not funny!

again!

again talking about mother!

(laughs)

okay I'm done I'm done here guys I'm done, what the..

now we all know that these kids were inspired by raw barz which is good! in a way but

these guys are not doing it properly, these guys are not even well skilled rapper

they are little kids, but when they are battling, these kids

these guys are just insulting each other, insulting each others family members

especially when they are talking about mum sister little sister and doing things with them,

which is not good man, nobody wants to see that

now saying so many bad things in just one video and uploading it on YouTube, our Nepali society does not accept that

now obviously it's YouTube so you can upload whatever video you want on YouTube

now we all have once in a lifetime spoken bad words,

maybe one or two bad words we might have spoken

or tried saying it just to see how you sound

obviously when you're mad, it automatically comes out!

what the ___ you doing?

go away!

anyways guys that's it for today thank you so much for watching this video now

LEGO City update: Cargo ship harbor work begins! - Duration: 10:47.

hello hello welcome back with my second train station mostly done in just parts

waiting to arrive in the mail I did like I said I was going to do I started

looking down in this direction and I realized that I need to figure out some

other things before I can determine exactly what I can do with my zoo and

with my planetary defense Force Base so I looked a little bit farther over

and determined that this was kind of the limiting factor at this time that I

needed to figure out exactly the shape and size of my port area and my cargo

harbor area so I've done some work on this in earnest for a good number of

hours did some planning there's a whole bunch of experimentation and you see

that I have moved the train sightings over to this side and they're kind of

rotated 90 degrees from the way they were set up previously this layout just

makes more sense and gives me more room to park basically more boats in there so

I can have intermodal operations going on strictly over here I'm just going to

limit it to this because that's where the train tracks are but then I can also

have something small docked up there and I could have something large docked here

or a couple of smaller things docked here and I'll put in a couple of cranes

you know this is just a standing obviously but I'll put in a couple of

cranes here to serve as both sides of this pier so I've got this pier here and

I get to also dock boats on the other side not as much room over here but

plenty of railing this this is enough room here to even dock my largest ship I

don't think we're gonna make anything bigger than than that at all so that can

actually fit here and still have a little bit of water to the outside of it

which I want it to have so that's that that was the kind of the planning end of

it but I've also done some execution so I've got this pier out here and this is

completely solid well it's solid enough to actually use beneath here I used some

of my new DUPLO new used DUPLO plate pieces to good effect and they're buried

away like they're supposed to be this is not where where I was expecting to use

those but it was a perfect opportunity because plates are the height of a

single brick and these piers are two bricks tall so I can put regular Lego

bricks on top of them tiles on top of that and everything works out there's a

little bit of a gap under here right now but I'm going to show you presently what

that's all about I've decided to put in just a little bit

of texture because I realized that what I had been doing with well with the

previous version of the city and the previous location of this dock in this

city I had been just going smooth for these visible edges and I don't like

that it's it's plain I was dumb idea so at least bringing in some texture is is

a must it's something it's better than nothing so I'm gonna extend that all the

way around eventually and that's why I've left some gaps here just a one stud

gap to fill that in because I ran out of pieces again yeah

recurring theme ran out right there I've got I think about that many just on the

other side as well so those are gonna go all the way around but this part of the

of this pier over here is also filled up with stuff underneath and I used up all

of my funky shaped corner round DUPLO plates from that last

hall that I got there in a couple of orders that I got from eBay I've used

pieces so those were pieces that were not going to be easy to use but they've

all been used up now which is great also the ones that had the the kind of tiled

area with no studs in the middle they look like driveways almost or railroad

crossings those are used up as well I think those are there

I don't remember anyway the structure of the piers is all

here now it's been extended out quite a bit

and I even did something that I wasn't expecting at all I didn't think I was

going to do at all I thought that I was done with the shaping of the tables and

the space that would be used up by tables because I had done everything

that I could do with the sizes that I have available to me to use with the

system but over here I have added a gap so I'm actually extended ultimately

extended this table out by a fair amount I think it's like what is that eight

studs in it or six oh yeah eight studs it's something and if you look all the

way under here yeah there you can see kind of how the the old framework which

was just kind of continued over from the old location of all this stuff is just

under there holding things up well enough I'll probably put just a little

more under there since there's nothing directly underneath you know just some

plates to help secure it all but that gap means that the entire layout has

been increased by this thickness times that length so that's good bigger is

better in terms of Lego layouts I think always this whole thing looks kind of

plain here but it was a bunch of work and the most important thing is that

once I once I figure out for certain where these plates are going to line up

with the rest of the city because I just need to put some tiles in and make sure

that everything is lined up properly when you don't have things connected you

can very easily start to be off by a full stud after a long long run so you

know I don't have anything connected all the way back there all the way down here

so I need to just make sure that all this is is correct and spacing cannot be

like this between plates you actually need a slight gap in order for them to

line up properly it needs to be more like that so I need to to do that and

then once I've verified all of that then I will trim off these plates here that

are a little bit too long and also I've got just a handful down

here that need to be trimmed off for a custom length I've used up a bunch of my

my spares and trimmings already that I've you know from from previous cuts

mostly now mostly down out there and also a little bit in here in the center

of the layout as well but used up a bunch of those trimming pieces which is

always a good feeling things I don't have a whole bunch of extras leftover of

it there will be some more smaller trimmings come up coming up that will be

trimmed down and yeah it's progress the fact that this is here now and the bases

are pretty solid means that I can start to build the first thing that I'm gonna

do is figure out exactly where the cranes will be and also I have enough

space to put some structure in here of some sort and then I'll start putting in

tiles to create the kind of custom road work

so to speak you know just the paved areas of this since all of it will be

paved and you know I can I can do that in a custom way since it will all be

done with tiles or at least 90% and then I also need to determine exactly where

the turn in will be and how that'll work out with all the planetary defense force

and stuff but it's not I'm pretty certain it's not gonna be over there I

also have the option should I choose to take advantage of it I have the option

to to bring this part of the main rail line towards me this way back this way

by you know since I don't need this switch here now I've just left a small

sighting in here but you know originally this was feeding the main lines or the

main sightings down there for the port but I don't need that anymore so if I

want to I can easily change everything from there just past that new switch all

the way out to here so I'll go into the the blue Rick software program and

experiment a little bit and just go look at it you know see if I if I want to

move the rail away from the roadway if that will gain me anything if it'll

gain me enough along the main road versus what I'll lose in space back here

potentially you know cuz that's not gonna be part of the the cargo system

per se you know trains will just go past and what they do out there is out there

is kind of on their own time that'll you know feed into this but I'll figure that

out I may I may end up just leaving it as it is for now may figure out

something different to do down here but I wanted to show you the progress

because it is fairly significant and the stuff that's gonna come next is gonna be

more significant still but I wanted to kind of show you the process you know

what what actually go through it doesn't it doesn't ever go from just plain table

to finished obviously and it doesn't even go from from base plates being down

to working on buildings and structures and such and such there some in between

steps that are really really important and it did take a good amount of time to

do some of the the trimming of plates already to fit into here like I got

these four side wide ones that are they're custom just for the gap and also

putting in all the framework underneath here all the infrastructure stuff is

really important it's not key that all infrastructure be done first you can

definitely just dive in and start building stuff

this is Lego it's not real life so there's not a huge cost other than in

time to just diving in and starting to build and if it turns out what you're

trying to do can't be done physically then you know you take apart

and start again you know it's it's not that big of a deal but I choose to try

to go with the infrastructure stuff first and then build upon that it's not

the right way it's not the best way I don't think it's just a way so I want to

show you that because it's important and I'm gonna do some more work yeah I will

talk to you in soon

you link out to an each card relates to the video they're currently watching for

example if you made a video in a certain type of series use cards to link out to

different parts of the series example if it's how to bake to them how to bake a

cake how to bake cupcakes how to bake a

muffin because people like one type of your video they're most likely like

others tip number two the timing of your college is SuperDuper important this is

strategy I used and it works out great for me I start off with a card at zero

zero zero zero the very beginning of the video that way if my hook the djinn

entice someone doesn't make people want to watch the video they'll have a place

to go right from the beginning and then doing my analytics and look my average

view duration for the past 28 days that gives me an idea of how long people

generally watch my content I then add a card about 20 seconds before that time

and I'll tell you why as a bonus tip at the end which is super duper important

so stay tuned for that by doing about 20 seconds before that time that I can

catch those people as well and then for my third and final card I put that about

a minute after that time that way if someone gets bored before the end of the

video I can always catch them too now for tip number three one more tip until

the bonus tip if you have a special video called like a Hello video which is

like a huge montage or an inspirational video something that you put a lot of

time and effort into and he wanted to do really well a brand deal for example you

can use to buddy's bulk card editor feature and change all the

cards on all your videos to direct to that one specific video you don't do

this too much because it's really bad if you do this every week or every day to

you should be like whoa what's going on why is he changing 200 cards every day

so don't do that but this is once a month one should be two months you can

push all the traffic from all your old videos to this

one specific video and it will get a ton more views and now to the bonus tip if

you go into your settings and you click featured content then select optimize

timing and click OK to update a little banner will pop up at about this part of

the video linking off to one of your videos at the average view duration

point that's why I said to you 20 seconds before but it won't interfere

with this and this is just another way to get more people on to other videos of

yours without losing them completely how many cards do you guys normally use in

your videos let me know in the comments below if they feel their he's helped you

and you want to continue attacking the struggles you face on youtube please

10 Years Ago... Matchday 10 and 11 LaLiga 2007/2008 - Duration: 3:15.

Ten years ago, LaLiga fans enjoyed two matchdays in the space of a week, but it would be only Villarreal

and Getafe who celebrated two victories and six points.

The Yellow Submarine riffed on Levante's pain in a regional derby, and also took a prestigious win

at the Vicente Calderon against in-form Atletico Madrid.

A brace from Nihat Kahveci after he had come on as a substitute put Villarreal just a point off the top of LaLiga.

Michael Laudrup's Getafe lifted themselves out of the relegation zone with their pair of victories against

Athletic Club and Osasuna.

One of the main protagonists of the week was Esteban Granero, whose goal in Pamplona was his first in LaLiga.

League leaders Real Madrid took apart Valencia at Mestalla with a 5-1 thrashing,

on what was an unhappy debut in the dugout for Oscar Fernandez -replacing Quique Sanchez Flores as Valencia coach.

Days later, however, Los Blancos lost in Sevilla, closing the gap at the top.

Seydou Keita and Luis Fabiano's goals, within three minutes of each other,

gave Manolo Jimenez' side the win.

Barça could only manage a draw away to Real Valladolid,

but bounced back with a masterclass at the Camp Nou against Betis.

A spectacular free kick brace from Ronaldinho delighted the crowd in the Catalan capital.

The standout player of the week was Christian Rigano.

Levante's striker scored the only hat trick of his career, as his side won for the first time that season

against Almeria.

Young Talents: Carlos Soler, Valencia CF - Duration: 1:45.

Valencia are enjoying their best form in recent years,

as some astute signings and emerging talents from the youth system are beginning to click at Mestalla.

The new generation of players to come up from Paterna are getting the chance to show their potential.

The most promising of this group is undoubtedly Carlos Soler.

A player who came into the first team as an emergency measure has become a key part of one of Spain's

most historic sides.

When Valencia last won LaLiga, Carlos Soler was just 7 years old.

He was just beginning to take his first steps at the club's academy.

He would move his way up through the ranks until being called upon last season by Cesare Prandelli.

Although the Italian left the club after a short time, Soler continued in the first team under Voro,

taking part in 23 games -19 as a starter.

This season, despite the arrival of competition for his spot, he is first choice for Marcelino in the midfield.

Whilst Valencia's play this season has delighted fans, the progress of Carlos Soler is even better news

for the future of the club and for the Spanish national team.

The Interview: Willian Jose, Real Sociedad player - Duration: 7:23.

"I was a very shy kid. I've always been shy. I think I've changed very little up to now."

"I didn't like football on a grass pitch. I started playing when I was 14 or 15."

"I started in Brazil, playing for the school team. Then I came back to Sao Paulo,

which was a very big opportunity because I'm a fan of Sao Paulo, I always liked

the team and had a dream of playing for Sao Paulo."

"In January I will have been in Spain for four years. It's a country that I like a lot and

I'm very well adapted here. I really like how we play football here."

"The truth is that it took me a while to realise what was happening to me. For me, Real Madrid are the

best team in the world. Playing for Madrid is the dream of every player. When I arrived there I had

to adapt to my teammates, I didn't speak any Spanish and it was very tough for me.

Then I gradually adapted, got the chance to train with the first team and played a game."

"It was a very good experience for me."

"A team like Real Madrid I think are the 'top' side for players. For me, they are the best club in the world."

"I played with Casemiro him in the U-20s for Brazil, and for Sao Paulo as well."

To me, Marcelo is the best left back in the world."

"Cristiano Ronaldo is great too, because he is a player who breaks records in every game."

"Ronaldo 'Fenomeno'"

Not only because of how he played football, but because of everything that happened to him. He had two very

serious injuries, which were difficult for him. To return to playing, take part in a World Cup and be the player of the

tournament is not something everybody can do. He is a player for whom all Brazilians have a great admiration."

"Luis Fabiano, whom I played alongside at Sao Paulo and who was at Sevilla. He is a player for whom

I had great admiration. He's a striker I liked a lot because he scored many goals."

"It's true that I was on several different teams in succession. That's difficult for a player. You have to adapt

to a new city and new teammates, an then you have to change everything again."

"I came here once to play against Real Sociedad. We trained on that pitch. I asked what the city was like,

what the players here were like and about the facilities. The facilities were very good. When I arrived, I saw all this and I loved it."

It was very difficult for me but when I arrived I said I needed a house to live in, knowing that I would be here

the next year because I have a five year contract. That makes it easier; it makes players calmer and

allows them to work and grow every day."

"Here I get on really well with everyone- I'm always joking with them in training. I like them all."

We play with the ball, getting a lot of touches, and I love it. It's more my kind of game; Play with your back to goal, pass the ball…

I think I have adapted very well here. In the past we had already done good work, with good competition,

and this year we have to be better than last year."

"I like games in which I get goals. When I don't score I get a little annoyed.

I really liked the game against Barcelona away. I gave an assist to Xabi."

"This year I intend to score more than 15 goals. Last year, my intention was to score

15 goals but I got 14. There are still many games left. We are just starting out and

I think I have every chance to improve this tally."

"My intention was to continue here and compete in a European competition.

This year we are in three competitions and have enough players to compete in all of them."

"The work we've done in the past means I think we all deserve to be taking part

in European competition, making history with La Real."

Werewolves in Norse Mythology - Duration: 12:36.

Hhello friends my name is Arith Härger and today I'm going to talk about werewolves in Norse mythology

Halloween is over but there is still a mystical atmosphere in the air

I don't know about you but I do enjoy werewolves

and winter is a wonderful time to read and listen to such stories, in the comforts of our house of course

while out there it rains and snows and everything's much darker than usual

there is this idea that werewolves are exclusively from Eastern Europe

but I've collected a lot of tales about werewolves from places

I would even imagine that such tales were part of the local folklore

but then again it's not surprising because at some point in prehistoric times

our ancestors spiritual practices were very much connected to animal totems

the power of animals

as I have said before, in Europe, the animals connected to royalty, courage, the warrior spirit and such

were the bear and the boar

these two animals were the most representative creatures of every European culture

pre-christian culture

and then there was the wolf, the wolf was something else entirely

picture this

beyond the borders of the villages and the boundaries of our familiar world

there lies vast, wild and solitary landscapes

when night comes, those places become a scenery of dark and gloomy shadows

in the deep forests the famished wolves roam and hunt, howling in the cold winter nights

howling at the moonless sky

their eyes glitter in the dark as if they burned with a foul fire

the human being as always fear the unknown and in ancient times these landscapes beyond their villages were

terrible places of both mystery and death

few were those who dared to venture into those places

so such places became the scenery of many fantastic tales

and the wolves became a symbol of terror and power

these animals were considered to be the wildest beings on earth, always searching for the kill

so it is perfectly natural that these natural facts led to so many folk tales

about werewolves and other mythical creatures

now let's focus on werewolves for Northern Europe

we have many mythological accounts about werewolves in ancient Scandinavia

let's start with one of the most famous tales

the tale of two men, Sigmund and Sinfjötli, who one day find a house in the middle of the woods

with men under a sleeping spell

these men had enchanted wolf-skins

Sigmund and Sinfjötli steal their wolf- skins and put them on

the moment they do this they transform themselves into wolves and can even understand the wolf language

then, after few adventures and killing other men

things go wrong and one wounds the other, apparently a mortal wound

but things turn out for the best and the two men survive and take off the wolf-skins and destroy them

first of all, these two men were in the woods because they were outlaws

and lived from robbery and other activities against the law

they were outlaws as I've said

and in ancient Scandinavian societies

the outlaws, murderers, defilers of temples and thieves were given the name of Vargr

they were the Vargar, which means "wolves"

such people weren't killed by their actions or arrested, they had a worse fate

they were expelled from the community, or the tribe, and were left in the wild landscapes as an animal

who now needed to survive, alone or in a group of people in equal circumstances, just as wolves do

everyone could kill them, hunt them on sight, with no penalty nor punishment

because the Vargar were now animals, no one considered them as humans

they were mere beasts

another aspect, they came upon other men in a remote area

in the wilds, away from civilization

who possessed enchanted wolf-skins

now, we might be in the presence of individuals who are also outlaws and as such they are Varger

or we are in the presence of shamans

shamans also lived outside communities, far away in the wilds but they didn't live as beasts

they had their own dwellings and most survived because of the offerings the community gave to them

in exchange for their power, their assistance in a variety of fields

from healing, to divination and so on

in the history of shamanism we see many parallels with this aspect

shamans living outside the communities, being both feared and revered

no one wants them close but at the same time they need them

there are other tales similar to this one in the northern European countries

in Finland, for instance

there are tales about men stumbling upon other men under a sleeping spell

men with great spiritual power and can even turn into animals, mostly wolves

so, the two men stole these enchanted wolf-skins and turned into wolves

they either accepted their condition as outlaws or precisely due to the fact that they lived in the wilds

they encountered a spiritual path, they- they had a contact with a shamanic perspective of life

to our ancestors spiritual power came from the wilds

away from civilization, going out there to seek knowledge and power

we see this in shamanism, isolation as a shamanic technique to induce trance

the boundary between civilization and the wilds is a parallel to the boundary

between sanity and madness

and it's precisely with that balanced state that shamans do what they do

there were also tribes of Shaman-warriors

which could take the form of wolves in their trance-journeys

and they acted like wolves

these shamanic mysteries were preserved as hereditary traditions among some families

these shamans, at their initiation rites to become wolf-warriors

would go into the swamps, the most dangerous and wild places of the world

and left their clothes behind

symbolically this is the abandonment of the human form and the identity as a member of a community

these people would live their lives out there away from the civilized world

and learning from the wilds

these people were called wolfmen or werewolves

there are other accounts of werewolves in Norse tradition such as Ulf Bjalfason

a character in the egg Egil's Saga

as soon as night approached . . .

his mood would darken and he had to get away from everyone and being isolated

people started to be suspicious and began to wonder that he might be one of those who changes his skin

people started to call him Kveld Ulf (Night's wolf)

a cool nickname

we can see in here the similarities with the previous account

isolation and to become a skin-changer

I'm sure you were already thinking about this

obviously, in Norse mythology, we have the great wolf Fenrir son of Loki

Fenrir will kill Odin during the events of Ragnarök

eventually I shall speak about Fenrir on another time

but Fenrir symbolizes the wilds, power, chaos, the other side of things that oppose order

but must exist to create a balance

the wild side of nature, its cruelty and destructive power

as we have seen before people sought knowledge in the wilds

spiritual knowledge

the knowledge that can only come from the dead, from what is chaotic, untamable

and people have always had this need to try to tame the untamable in order to survive

it's interesting to see that Fenrir will kill Odin

and Odin being the personification of wisdom and power but Fenrir is also power

the other side of power, the wild power, two opposites against each other

and it's the wild power that will eventually succeed but ultimately be consumed and fall

just as we have seen with Sigmund and Sinfjötli, they enjoyed their time being wolves

but could not control the power and the wild side to control of them

and one ended up killing the other

but taking their wolf-skins off

they became men again - civilized

Fenrir might be the remnants of a prehistoric tale about those who are skinchangers

that take the form of wolves and live their lives according to their wolf-totem

every tale has a moral and this one would probably be that seeking power is healthy and wise

but be careful to not let yourself be consumed by such power and let it control you

Fenrir also has two sons - Sköll and Hati - one chases the sun the other chases the moon

every day like a shadow

darkness seeking to overcome balance and nature itself

we have the same principle as with Fenrir

we know of two other wolves - Geri and Freki the Wolves of Odin himself

there is a great possibility that these two wolves are not just pets

two animals akin to dogs and Odin just likes to have them near, pet them, and feed them his food under the table

it's possible that Geri and Freki represents skinchangers

and that in fact these are two people, maybe Odin's own body-guards

or two chosen warriors of the utmost confidence

the best of the best, the perfect loyal soldiers

there are many archaeological finds depicting human figures wearing wolf pelts

in Scandinavian societies the tales of wolves went further than the mythological tales

there was the existence of the elite warriors called Úlfhéðnar (Ulfhednar)

people who went to war dressed with the skins of wolves, and were also warriors with immense strength

who sometimes fought naked without showing that they were uncomfortable with the cold weather

or the landscape itself, adapting perfectly to the harsh environment just like wolves

these Warriors went to battle in some kind of a trance

and did not have the need for weapons, they could kill with their bare hands

or bite just as a wolf does

in fact that is what they were-

people with the shapes of wolves, who thought that they were wolves themselves

and acted like the creatures

there is a great possibility that before battle

they consumed some kind of hallucinogenic, entering in a trance-like state

psychologically they could feel the difference

it's just like if someone asks you to lift a table and you don't have the strength or the strength fails you

and you- and it's hard, but when you are angry you gain strength and you can lift and throw the table with no problem

people sometimes go beyond the limitations they think they have

when they are physically and psychologically affected

when people are pushed into certain situations

the need to survive comes to the surface

and the wild and savage feelings hidden within us appear, almost feral

of course these accounts may be exaggerations but the fact is-

we find representations in archaeological excavations so people probably believed in this

and these Warriors were actually part of a cult which involved hallucinogenic-drugs

and pushing people to their limits, inducing rage, anger, inducing a state of uncontrollable mindless violence

being feral

these people were represented as wolves

from a cult which goes far back before recorded history

to prehistoric shamanistic communities of wolfmen or werewolves

alright friends I hope you have enjoyed this video, see you on the next one

and I am famished as a wolf

and I think I'm going to take a bite off of Mr. Tico here

THE SPOOKY BOOKLIGHT | 5 BOOKS I RECOMMEND FOR HALLOWEEN! - Duration: 7:01.

So yeah, I was speaking with Eric the other day and I told him: "Eric can you

give me a hand with this video? And well he basically gave me this...

If it helps.. I think it's handy!

hello everybody! and welcome to the spooky booklight

The papefjkjgjfkg... The Paper Booklight Halloween Special

So here I come, dressed as Princess Ariel, who now has changed careers

and now is a zombie slayer and I am bringing you today five fantastic books

that you can read this Halloween! so let's begin!

So the first choice is "The Dry by Jane Harper" you might have heard about this book

Is published by Abacus which belongs to Curtis Brown, and in Spain you can find it under the name

"Años de sequía" and it's published by Salamandra.

It is basically the story of the policeman Aaron Falk

So he returns to this Australian village which is affected by a long draught

His friend Luke (LAPSUS - It's Hadler), commited murder suicide

Behind this apparent murder suicide there are lots of things going on

Because, years ago, Falk was accused of murder he had to leave the village...

you know some people

call it the "Australian Broadchurch" and you know maybe it's because you know

it's a murder that it's happening in the small town

I can't reveal that much but what I

can say is I enjoy this book so much, I read it in an afternoon and actually

believe that this is one of the must reads of 2017 and you know is one of

these books that you're really hoping that they do a movie or a TV series with it

I'm not really sure if it's on the go, but!

So the second one I'm gonna

recommend to you is "Before the fall by Noah Hawley"

Noah Hawley is the creator of

the Fargo TV series and you're gonna see that the writing is really televisive

And, lemme tell you the plot is amazing!

You've got this plane, right? Full of people

from the elites and they go from Martha's Vineyard to New York

16 minutes onto the

takeoff, they have an accident. The plane lands into the water, to the ocean and

all of them died except for two people

one, Scott which is the painter so he's not

from the elites, and the second one is the little child of a media mogul.

So there's only two survivors.

So you've got two interesting things of this book

which I really enjoyed. One of them is "what or who did take the plane down?"

the second one is about how Scott is dealing with the Post Traumatic Syndrome and how he

can't bear leaving this child alone.

So you see how all of this interacts and

honestly the ending is gonna leave you like "oh my gosh did that really happen?"

The third book I've got with me is "The Burial Hour" by Jeffery Deaver it's published by Hodder & Stoughton

It's a hardback... This is a Waterstone's

exclusive edition, it includes a short story

so this one is the 13th on the Lincoln

Rhyme and Amelia Sachs series

The first one if I am not wrong is

the "Bone Collector" which you can find in Spanish under the name of "El colecionista de huesos".

there's also a movie featuring Denzel Washington and Angelina Jolie, really recommendable

and if you don't know about Lincoln Rhyme

he basically is this detective... I think he's a specialist in forensics

and he becomes quadriplegic because of an accident, which you can see in "The bone

collector" as I mentioned before.

And he hires Amelia Sachs, she is part of the

Police. She's the one that comes to the scene and, you know, shows him the evidence

They have like a really interesting relationship

So, a man is kidnapped in New York, is kidnapped on the daylight the only witness is this

little girl, they're racing to find him.

There's this guy called The Composer who

posts a video in social media of this guy about to be hung and you can hear

that there is like a background music

His gasps matches with the tempo. So they manage to save him

And very shortly, there is this very similar case in Italy. So they fly to Italy

and try to solve the case because we are speaking about a serial killer or potential

serial killer.

As you can see it's quite an extensive book but I think with

Jeffery Deaver's writing style is like there are so many details that you must

not miss because you know every detail counts and there are lots of plot twists

and it's a really enjoyable book really good for this holiday as well

so the next book is "Ragdoll" by Daniel Cole. OMG the plot is amazing

and it's published by Trapeze

Mind you. So, basically is the story of this guy William Fawkes, he

was on psychology assessment meaning that they retired him from work and now

like after proving he was innocent because some shenanigans going on, he goes

back to work he receives a call from his colleague Emily telling him that well...

They found a corpse near his apartment the corpse is made of six different people!

So they receive like a leak... or a lead from the press with photographies of

the six different cadavers and a list of names and Fawkes' is the last one

so you know it's a really interesting book. There's gonna be a second part called "Hangman"

Pretty soon I think, it's gonna be in February... Next year for sure!

I don't know if you have seen it, guys, but there is this TV series, scandinavian one

I mean there's loads of applications, it's called "The Bridge" but watch the

Scandinavian one which its original title is "Broen"

Between Sweden and Denmark there

is this big bridge that is also you know the border. So they find a corpse in the

middle of this border. When they're gonna lift the corpse, half is in a country the other half is in another

And last, but not the least, I've got with me

"Hell's five-minute tales of horror" , published by Dimension Bucket Media so

that's the very first book of Hell Richards, you can find the book in Amazon

Let me tell you, this is Hell Richards' first book - I hope the first of many

more and it's a collection of 40, 41 short stories

you can see the

influence of Japanese manga and also other mythological creatures, such as

"La Llorona" in Mexico let me tell you this it's a really

amazing book. Ideal you know when you're traveling to that Halloween party by train

what I like from this book is... you know like... she knows how to play with

plot twists, is a really entertaining book I loved it

I'm gonna leave the links to these and the other books I've mentioned as usual in the description box

So if you like this video don't forget to subscribe

give a thumbs up, have a look at the different videos I have here as well as

the other social media accounts I'll be leaving you here

I really wanna know

what are you plans for Halloween? are you gonna do something special? are you

reading something special?

as you can see, I have a bit of a massive flu right now

Just a friendly reminder that once we reach the 100 subscribers

I'm gonna do a little giveaway and yes stay tuned because next video is going

to be the Cheltenham Festival vlog, hopefully and see you next week

Social costs and benefits - Duration: 3:19.

In this video I'll cover the concept of social costs and benefits.

By the end of this video you will be able to explain the meaning and calculations of

both social costs and social benefits.

Social benefits are equal to private benefits plus external benefits.

In the case of education, the private benefits to these children in the image will be the

increased opportunities they have in life.

Aside from the children, their education can benefit society as a whole.

This is because as productive and informed individuals, they may make contributions and

decisions that will benefit society.

I'll explain in the next slide what these contributions may be.

The social benefits of education then, include the private benefits to the students themselves

and the external benefits to society as a whole.

Let's visualise this another way.

Assume that a government does not fund any education in a country.

In this case the educated individual gains the private benefits of studying - including

better opportunities for work.

They may develop into a business person or political leader that improves the quality

of life in the country.

This improvement in the living conditions of others is an external benefit.

The others gain from the individual's education, but did not pay for it.

The combination of the private and external benefits gives us our social benefits.

The formula for social benefits is clearly laid out here.

They are equal to private benefits plus external benefits.

How about social costs?

Social costs are equal to private costs plus external costs.

In the case of air pollution from production, the private costs to the firm in the image

will be the various costs they face for producing such as rent, wages and materials.

Beyond the firm, their emissions will harm those living nearby.

Those people will be breathing in polluted air and potentially suffer from respiratory

diseases.

They will face costs in treating their health problems and this negative impact is considered

the external cost.

The private cost of production and the external cost of pollution to people living nearby

combine to form the social costs of production.

Let's visualise this another way.

As the firm produces goods, it faces certain direct private costs as mentioned before.

Without facing any penalty for pollution, they will do so at the expense of those living

nearby.

These third party individuals may suffer some respiratory illnesses.

The impact of production is the damage done to the health of third parties, or the external

cost.

Therefore the social costs of production include all the costs of production, including both

those directly incurred by the firm as well as those inflicted upon third parties.

The formula for social costs is now obvious.

They are equal to private costs plus external costs.

By now you should have a clearer picture of social costs and social benefits.

I hope this video clarified the two concepts.

I'm kidding, idiot.

Do I enjoy it?

Yeah, I do.

What I did to you seniors last year was a masterpiece.

I hope you don't think that's the end of it.

You're only just starting to grind your teeth.

Got it, you miserable peasant?

Hurry back to your village in the boonies

It's bronzified and protects me as it shoots out magical bullets.

Doesn't he look like that spiky bug from the Mimo Amazon?

There's no need to hold back. Come at me!

Sure thing, here I go.

I'm not joining the Magic Knights so I can have a good time and avoid working hard.

I'm here to work my butt off and become the Wizard King!

What do you mean?

Other than Oikawa, everyone at Aoba Johsai is weak.

Weak...

If Seijoh is infertile soil,

I apologize if I hit a nerve, but words from someone who lost to Aoba Johsai and couldn't even stay in the prefectural finals

Carnival Inspiration Cruise Ship Tour 2017 - Carnival Cruise Line - Duration: 18:21.

Carnival Cruise Line's 2,056-passenger,

70,367-gross-ton Carnival Inspiration

is the sixth in the eight-member Fantasy Class platform of cruise ships.

Carnival Inspiration was built in 1996 by the Kvaerner-Masa shipyard near Helsinki, Finland.

The yard became Aker Yards Oy in 2005 but since 2008,

it has been a part of the STX Europe conglomerate.

The ship is shown in this image as built,

with the name Inspiration before the Carnival prefix was added in 2007

along with the "Evolutions of Fun" amenities that included a water park

nd newly redecorated public spaces.

Now considered mid-sized,

the 859.5-foot-long by 103.5-foot-wide Inspiration

was among the world's largest cruise ships when it entered service.

It is shown here during its maiden visit to Los Angeles in 1996.

On Dec. 17, 2011,

the Carnival Inspiration arrived at Long Beach, Calif.,

to begin regular three- and four-night cruises to Mexico.

Adjacent to the historic, retired ocean liner Queen Mary,

the Long Beach Cruise Terminal is housed in a geodesic dome

that was originally built to house Howard Hughes' "Spruce Goose" airplane.

The Carnival Inspiration has 10 passenger decks.

The ship's uppermost level is Sun Deck (14), which begins with an open platform.

This is the view over the bow from Sun Deck level.

The turf-lined City Sports Park on Sun Deck features a nine-hole miniature golf course.

Sun Deck is protected by an angled glass screen and features

a cushioned jogging track that actually passes through the base of the radio mast.

Eleven laps equal 1 statute mile.

The jogging track continues to a seating area on aft Sun Deck.

From the aft portion of Sun Deck,

there is an excellent view of the Carnival Inspiration's midships lido and pool area.

Most of the ship's outer deck areas are covered in teak.

Sports Deck (12) is divided into forward and aft sections.

The forward portion houses the spa while the aft portion is a sunning terrace

at the base of the funnel that also provides access to the water slides.

This is a view overlooking the midships lido from aft Sports Deck.

The circular opening in the funnel draws in air to help push exhaust

through either wing and off to the side of the ship.

Just beyond the funnel is the Twister water slide,

the largest of three in the Carnival Inspiration's water park.

This is a forward-facing view from the Twister platform.

This is where Twister begins its descent.

Twister riders end up in an open trough of water on aft Verandah Deck (11).

In addition to Twister, the Carnival Inspiration's water park has a pair of less vertiginous slides called Racers.

Veranda Deck (11) begins with an open platform above the ship's bridge.

The forward Veranda Deck platform extends over the sides of the ship.

Veranda Deck continues aft on either side of the pool area with sheltered game areas.

Open sunning terraces surround the pool area on Veranda Deck.

Seen from Veranda Deck level, the Lido Deck (10)

has a large pool, Jacuzzis, palapas and shaded areas.

A sheltered bandstand is just aft of the pool on Lido Deck.

There are shuffleboard courts at the aft end of Veranda Deck.

Aft Verandah Deck also has a large sunning area atop the stern.

The exterior portion of Lido Deck begins on either side with finite, teak-lined promenades.

Added in 2016,

the Blue Iguana Cantina is located forward of the pool on the port side of Lido Deck.

The Red Frog rum bar was also added in 2016.

It is on the starboard side, forward of the pool.

This is an aft-facing view from the pool.

Serenity is an adults-only terrace on aft Promenade Deck (9)

lined with cushioned loungers that overlook the ship's wake.

The 12,000-square-foot Spa is forward of the Grand Atrium on Sports Deck.

Men's and women's changing areas fan out to either side of the Spa's reception desk.

Offering a full range of treatments, the Beauty Salon is accessed via the Spa.

There is a Relaxation Room for Spa guests' use before and after treatments.

Spa treatment rooms offer a wide range of massage and skin therapies.

At the forward end of the Spa, a well-equipped gym overlooks the bow from Sports Deck.

Camp Carnival is a children's playroom on Verandah Deck overlooking the midships lido and pool.

Separate areas and activities are coordinated for those aged 2 to 5,

6 to 8 and 9 to 11.

Guests enter Carnival Inspiration via the seven-deck-tall Grand Atrium.

Topped by a glass skylight,

the space is trimmed in reflective panels and red and green neon.

This is a view facing aft from Lido Deck level.

The 722-seat Brasserie is the Carnival Inspiration's casual buffet-style eatery on Lido Deck.

Added in 2016,

the Blue Iguana Grill Mexican restaurant is located at the forward/port end of the Brasserie.

It replaced the popular Mongolian Wok.

Everything is made fresh to order at the Blue Iguana Grill.

Two chicken tacos from the Blue Iguana Grill are topped with selections from the adjacent salsa bar.

Guy's Burger Joint, also added in 2016,

is at the forward/starboard end of the Brasserie.

The vivid colors and "tube sprouts" in the original portion of the Brasserie are former

Carnival architect Joseph Farcus' playful take on the organic Art Nouveau style.

The Carnival Inspiration's main showroom is the 1,300-seat Paris Lounge.

The double-deck room begins a line-up of public spaces on Promenade (9) and Atlantic (8) Decks.

Shops are located at the aft entrances to the Paris Lounge.

There is a video arcade on the port side of the Grand Atrium

on Promenade Deck adjacent to the O2 Teen Center.

Photo galleries follow the Paris Lounge on either side of the Promenade Deck level of the Grand Atrium.

This is the Grand Atrium as it looks from Promenade Deck level.

Here is another view of the Grand Atrium from Promenade Deck level showing the panoramic elevators.

The marble-surfaced Inspiration Boulevard spans the greater length of Promenade Deck.

The wide passage links the lion's share of Carnival Inspiration's public rooms

and is a destination unto itself,

with plenty of seating and views through its full-length windows.

Cherry on Top is a shop on Promenade Deck that sells sweets.

Tastes provides samples of various dishes in Carnival Inspiration's restaurants.

It is located at the forward end of the Boulevard.

The Monte Carlo Casino is located on the port side of Promenade Deck

and can accommodate up to 450 guests at a time with its bevy of slots,

card and roulette tables.

The Violins Bar is situated in a nook between the Monte Carlo Casino and the Boulevard.

This is another portion of the Violins Bar.

The Cafe des Artistes is the ship's extra tariff specialty coffee and pastry venue adjacent to the Boulevard.

The Avant-Garde Lounge seats 109 guests and was inspired by the Cubist movement.

Designer Joseph Farcus painted the 3D Cubist artworks

to "suggest the motion and interaction that can be shared by guests who dance

on its Harlequin-patterned granite dance floor."

Pearl-finished guitars with fiber optic strings flank the entrance to the Rock and Roll Dance Club.

The Rock and Roll Dance Club is the ship's disco and nightclub on Promenade Deck.

At various times throughout the day,

video monitors broadcast sports events and music videos.

Accessed via the aft stairtower and the Rock and Roll Dance Club,

the Conference Center is located on the port side of Promenade Deck.

This is a view facing forward from the aft end of the Boulevard.

Added in 2016,

the 92-seat Alchemy Bar is at the aft end of Inspiration Boulevard.

A grand staircase leads down from the center of the lounge to the Carnivale Dining Room.

The Alchemy Bar was originally the Chopin Lounge.

Some of its prior decorative elements by Joseph Farcus remain,

including the water bearer statue columns.

The 541-seat Candlelight Lounge is the ship's cabaret-style

entertainment venue at the aft end of Promenade Deck.

Hundreds of decorative fiber optic candles help illuminate the room.

Located on the port Atlantic Deck level of the Grand Atrium,

Circle C is an interactive facility geared for the "tween set,"

guests aged 12 to 14 years.

Flanking the port side entrance to the Mardi Gras Dining Room,

Rhapsody in Blue is a 92-seat piano bar with broken-edge granite,

blue reflecting crystals,

Tivoli lights in stepped Deco moldings and stainless-steel musical notes

that are intended to transmit the "spirit of George Gershwin's music."

In the starboard corner opposite Rhapsody in Blue,

the 43-seat Shakespeare Library has been rendered in Elizabethan style with Gothic arches,

columns and rusticated walls.

The ceiling coffers are inscribed in gold leaf with 25 Shakespearean quotes.

Named for Carnival's first ship, the midships,

650-seat Mardi Gras Dining Room has a raised central section and full-length windows on either side.

Decorative flourishes include stepped cherry wood panels and polished rosa cardinale marble tiles.

Table settings in the main Mardi Gras and Carnivale Dining Rooms feature EuroVortex flatware.

Located at the aft end of Atlantic Deck,

the 658-seat Carnivale Dining Room is named for Carnival's second ship.

There is a model of the Carnivale, the former Empress of Britain of 1956,

at the entrance to the restaurant.

Handmade Italian fan-shaped seashells in marigold and garnet glass

are among the Carnival Dining Room's decorative highlights.

As a nod to the company's roots, all of its ships have an Empress Deck,

dating to Carnival's first ship, the SS Mardi Gras,

the former Canadian Pacific liner Empress of Canada of 1961.

The Atrium Bar is located in the base of the Atrium on Empress Deck.

The Reception Desk is also at the base of the Atrium on Empress Deck.

The Shore Excursions Desk is across from Reception on Empress Deck.

The Art Gallery lines the passage aft of the Grand Atrium on Empress Deck.

Its wares are sold on board by Park West Auctions.

Art Nouveau-inspired porticos are in the elevator lobbies of the Carnival Inspiration.

The Carnival Inspiration's accommodation passageways are lined with abstract

ocean liner-inspired graphics designed by Joseph Farcus.

Twenty-eight Grand Suites top the Carnival Inspiration's accommodation tier.

Grand Suites have a large flat-screen television,

a sofa (with additional sofa bed), arm chairs and a coffee table.

Grand Suites have teak-lined balconies furnished with two chairs and a table.

Grand Suites have bathrooms with a jacuzzi tub/shower combo.

Grand Suites also have a walk-in closet.

Twenty-six Junior Suites are located on Verandah Deck and feature three closets and a single sofa.

Although they are tiny, Junior Suite balconies offer great views from near the top of the ship.

Standard bathrooms in all categories except Grand Suites

have curtained showers with massage head controls, a sink and toilet.

Bathrooms in wheelchair-access cabins have a shower with folding seat and modified controls.

Suite guests enjoy upgraded amenities, including Ocean brand bath gel, shampoo, conditioner and moisturizer.

There are 564 Ocean View staterooms.

This one has a picture window and is configured with a king-sized bed.

All accommodations feature 110 AC current,

24-hour stateroom service, bathrobes, hair dryers, individual climate control,

safe deposit box, telephone and TV with A/V input plate.

All standard staterooms feature soap and shampoo dispensers in their showers in lieu of bottled amenities.

Some forward-situated Ocean View cabins on Empress,

Upper, Main and Riviera Decks have twin portholes in lieu of a picture window.

There are 389 Interior Cabins on the Carnival Inspiration.

Interior staterooms have varying floor plans.

The Carnival Inspiration cruises from Long Beach to Ensenada and Catalina year-round.
