Waching daily Feb 13 2017

I'm Ryan from extremeterrain.com, and this is my review and installation of the RedRock

4X4 6-inch Rivet Style Fender Flare Kit, fitting all 1997 to 2006 TJ's.

Today, we're gonna talk through the installation of this kit which is a very simple one out

of three wrench installation.

This may take you around two hours to get installed but it will bolt directly onto your

TJ making it a no-drill installation, but we'll talk a little bit more about the install

in just a second.

We're also going to talk through the construction and a few of the features of these flares.

There are a few different reasons to replace the fender flares on your Jeep.

Either yours are faded or broken and you're just looking for a cleaner look.

You might be looking for an aftermarket upgraded rivet style flare, or you may need or want

a wider flare to give you complete tire coverage either because it keeps you legal, or you

just like to keep the tires from throwing junk up on the side of the Jeep.

Well, this set of flares from RedRock is going to give you all of that.

These are a 6-inch wide flare, that's about 2 3/4 inches wider than factory.

They have that rivet styling and they're going to be brand new and resist the chalking and

fading that your factory flares probably have being that even the newest TJ is about 10

years old now.

This is a complete set of all six flares including the mini flares behind the front tires and

it includes all of the hardware to get the installed.

Again, a very easy install.

As far as construction goes, as I said, these are a very well-built flare.

These are going to be made of a UV treated thermoplastic that's going to resist fading

and chalking like those factory flares often get, and these are going to do a nice job

of bending before they break if you do rub them on something on the trail.

They have this matte black finish which is a little bit different from your factory flares,

but from a distance they're going to give you that factory flare finish but, of course,

these are going to have a lot more style because they do have the pockets with the rivets.

Now, the rivets that you're getting with this, what you actually are seeing from the outside

of the Jeep is this socket head cap screw, which is a really nice feature.

Some of the other rivet style flares on the market actually just have a plastic kind of

rivet cover, screw cover that goes over a Philips head screw that aren't functional.

These are going to be very functional and they're also going to give you the look that

you're after.

These will, of course, accept your factory turn signal upfront which is a nice feature,

you don't have to go out and worry about having to pick up a new turn signal.

You already have your factory one and it'll bolt directly in here.

And this does also come with some weather-stripping, some trim.

That trim is going to go between your flare and the body of your Jeep to keep the new

flare from chaffing the body so if you were to ever remove these, put a different set

on, or replace them, you know that the paint behind them is gonna be solid.

As far as the install goes, again, this is a very simple one out of three wrench installation.

Give yourself about two hours to get this done, but this is going to be very simple.

The first step is, of course, removing your factory flares which you'll do by giving your

turn signal bolt a quarter turn removing the socket from the housing, and then just unbolting

the factory flares, front to back.

Now, in most spots you can get to the front and the back of the tub and the factory just

uses nut and bolt hardware to attach the flares.

However, in some spots you can't get to the back of the bolts so there's no nut, it's

actually a rivnut that's in the body of the Jeep.

Now, if there's a lot of rust on your Jeep, if that bolt is rusted into the rivnut, it

can just spin the nut in the body making it very difficult to remove that piece of hardware.

You'll often end up having to cut that hardware off and then there's not a good way of attaching

your new flare to the body without that rivnut in place.

So I definitely recommend spraying those rivnuts, especially with a good penetrating oil, well

before you get started with this install, multiple times, giving you the best chance

of removing the bolts from those rivnuts.

Again, once you work from the front to the back removing all of that factory hardware,

it's really just a matter of installing the trim on your new fender flares, installing

your turn signal into the flare, holding it up to the body, and use all of the included

hardware and spacers to attach it onto your Jeep.

The rear installs in much the same way but you will wanna remove that inner fender liner

before getting started that's gonna give you access to all of the factory nut and bolt

hardware you need to remove to get your factory flare off.

And the miniature flare also installs in much the same way, there's just three bolts, in

captured nuts, rivnuts in the body that you remove and bolt the new one up.

Just have your traditional hand tools around, about two hours of time, and about anybody

can do this in their driveway.

Overall, I think that these are very fairly priced for what you get.

I think they're well-built piece, they look good, they give you additional tire coverage,

they give you that rivet style you're looking for, they're gonna resist that UV fading and

cracking, and they're an easy install.

Now there is a Bushwacker version of these flares, and again, Bushwacker is going to

be one of the high-end fender flares on the market, but they're gonna be close to $500.

These ones are almost $250 less than those ones and I think you're still getting a really

nice flare.

So if you're looking for a wider than factory flare to give you some additional tire coverage

and you like the idea of having a rivet style flare, these are going to fit your needs,

they're going to be inexpensive compared to some of the other options, and they're going

to install on your TJ easily.

So that's my review of the RedRock 4x4 Rivet Style Fender Flare kit, fitting all 1997 to

2006 TJs, that you can find right here at extremeterrain.com.

January Wrap Up | Part II [CC] - Duration: 10:32.

hey there booktube Katie here and you're

watching Katie Loves to Read. Today I'm here

to do by January wrap up part two. This

wrap-up includes the books i read during

diverseathon and a few other books.

So first off I'll start off with the Joy

Luck Club which I buddy read with Angie

from biblio galaxies. She doesn't; post a

whole lot but I'll her link down below all the

same. The Joy Luck Club tells the story

of four women who emigrated from China to

the US and it also tells the story of

their daughters and it's takes the form

of a bunch of different short stories

essentially that interconnect somewhat

because these four women all play

mahjong together. That was probably my

biggest critique of this book just that

it didn't feel like a cohesive whole. It

just felt like a series of disjointed

stories however i do still think it was

really enjoyable book i did get very

invested in some of the characters

particularly in the story of Rose Hsu

and I thought her story was particularly

interesting. I felt that i connected to

her a lot and was really rooting for her

throughout the book and I was happy when

she like popped up in other people's

stories.

Yeah I just expected to love this a bit

more but it did not all come together

for me to me and I gave it a

three-and-a-half stars. Then I finished

Down Among the Sticks and Bones

I got an arc of this one and this is the

sequel to Every Heart a Doorway by Seanan

McGuire except it's not really the

sequel. Its the second in the series, the second

in publication order but it's actually a

prequel every heart a doorway. it

follows Jack and Jill and their story when

they go to the evil creepy land that

they go to prior to showing up in every

heart of doorway at the school for

children who got kicked out of the

fantasy worlds that they go to and I really

enjoyed this one but I didn't love it as

much asEvery Heart a Doorway and I

suppose part of that stems from not

having an asexual character who i

connected to on a very deep level cause i

never read an ace character before but I did

think it was really good. I thought the tone

in this was really good it struck a

really great level of creepiness that I

definitely did enjoy. I though Seanan McGuire

did a great job at that. It also has

a lesbian character in it which is

wonderful to read about and I just

thought the world it was very cohesive

and immersive and I really did devour it

and I thought another interesting thing

about it was it discusses idea of

parents having kids to want to fit in a

sort of status symbol and I thought all

that discussion was definitely

interesting. In the end I gave it four stars

I just enjoyed this but I didn't love it,

it didn't have that wow factor for

me. Then I read Lightfinder by Aaron Paquette

who is a Metis author from Canada

i think particularly from Alberta and I

have a full spoiler-free review of this

one on my blog which is linked down

below. This is another case of I liked

this book but I didn't love it.

It follows a young Cree woman named

Aisling whose little brother has just

gone missing so she sets off with her

grandmother and her aunt and some other

characters to try and find him and as

she's doing so and traversing the forests

and stuff she begins to realize that a

lot of the legends that she heard about

growing up are actually true and she

gets involved in this kind of struggle

for the continuance of life on Earth. And

its dual prospective you also hear from

her brother find out where he is and

what he's doing and I thought it was a

very interesting novel but it didn't

feel like a complete novel or something.

It definitely was lacking the world

building department. I didn't find it to

be very immersive. I would have liked a

lot more description of what this area

of Canada's like because not being

Canadian and never having been to Canada

or to Alberta British Columbia *mumble* I

didn't really know and it does include

some illustrations which were definitely

helpful.

Some of them kind of give an idea of what

the landscape would be like and they're

beautiful. Like Aaron Paquette is a wonderful

artist and I definitely thought that that

did add to the book but it wasn't enough for me

to really feel immersed. However i did

really enjoy the characters. I definitely

not very invested in Aisling's story in a

way I didn't really expect to. I thought

it did justice to indigenous issues

and definitely discussed some of them

and some of the stereotypes of

indigenous people in Canada why those are

unfair.

It also features and indigenous

Australian character and I thought that

was done sensitively but not being an

indigenous Australian person so I cannot

definitely speak about but it didn't

seem to be problematic in any way. I

definitely enjoyed this but I gave it

three stars because it wasn't perfect

but it definitely has potential and I

would read the sequel. Then i read a book

on kindle and that was Radio Silence by

Alice Oseman. I don't want to say too

much about this, I do have a full spoiler-free

review video that you can of go and

watch but basically this is about a

young girl called Frances who just

really well in school but nobody knows

that she is obsessed with this podcast.

It's a youtube based podcast called

universe city and she's done a lot of fan art

for this podcast online. One day the

creator of the podcast who keeps his

identity very secret reaches out to her and

asks if she will participate in the

podcast and do some art for them and

her whole life changes. And yeah I

had quite a few issues with this novel.

Firstly the kind of bad parent trope that

we get in YA definitely reared its ugly

head here to the point where the

bad parent played the villainous

character and it just didn't feel

believable and I I I having had

good parents I really can't comment about

whether it actually is believable. But to me

it's was over done at times. Like there's

a point where the mother was spying on

them our the window and like pursues them

and follows them and tries to intervene

and just felt almost cartoony. Maybe

there if there was like more depth of

description or something it wouldn't

have felt so or the emotions

surrounding the whole situation but it

just didn't feel real.

Also I thought like the discussion of

demisexuality, because one of the

characters identifies as demi was very

bare. It was just like an Internet

definition and move on and that annoyed

me because I went into it expecting more

of a discussion of what it feels like to

be demi and I was looking forward to that

identifying as on the ace spectrum. So yeah I

don't know, it was good in other regards

but I only ended up giving it three

stars. Then another book that I didn't

love that I read

for the diverseathon was If I Ever Get Out of

Here by Eric Gansworth. Now this one

was better than those 2. I enjoyed it more

than than those 2. This tells the story of a

young guy who's growing up on the

Tuscarora indian reservation in New

York and he goes to a school off

reservation and one day a white guy

shows up and they strike up a friendship but

he doesn't want the white guy to

know he's really poor and its really

interesting. It's set in the seventies and

has a lot of you with music and the

Beatles and I really enjoyed that aspect

of it and i really enjoyed that it's so

much a book about friendship because i

don't think we got enough about

friendship in YA. We get a lot about

relationships, this had one or two

background relationships going on but it

was really just about friendship and

about these two characters being friends.

And I really enjoyed that I enjoyed

learning a lot about the Onondaga Nation

I think that's how you pronounce

it, you can correct me down below if

i'm wrong but i thought it was really

interesting. I thought it discussed

stereotypes and issues really

interestingly and I learned a lot and

I felt like I was definitely able to

connect on and then an empathy level if that

makes sense that definitely increased

my empathy and understand and I really

appreciate the book for that. However the

writing in this book was weird, like it's

really really difficult to get into and

it's not that it's using a dialect or

anything. It just that it almost holds you at

arm's length.

It's a bit cold or something and that

makes the story itself harder to enjoy

because it's hard to get invested into

it and it's hard to get invested in the

characters and in the friendship because

you're constantly feeling like you're

being held at arm's length. There's something

just weird and off about the writing

and that was disappointing because I

think otherwise it would have been like

a four or a four-and-a-half star story

but instead i have to give it three and

a half stars because the writing was

off-putting to me and made me not want

to pick the book up to finish it. I

can't put my finger on exactly what was

wrong with the writing but just overall

didn't work. Then finally I was getting a

bit burnt out on life and the internet

the news and current affairs

and books that dealt with important

things because my brain just didn't have

the space to process them because my

anxiety was off the charts so I decided

to pick up a fun escapist book and that

ended up being Shadows of Self by

Brandon Sanderson and this is the second

book and the mistborn era two or the Wax

and Wayne saga. But it follows

Wax and Wayne who are this pair who

fight crime essentially and this book

was really really fun and it was

everything I wanted it to be.

It was predictable occasionally not so

much as the alloy of law which is

the first book in the series.

I felt we got to know Wax and Wayne

better and I feel we also got to know

Merissy a lot better in this book and I

became really invested in her character

more so than i had been before

even though I felt like we connected

before because we're both law students but

now I'm more invested in her character. I

have a lot of fun and this was a wild

adventure that i very much enjoyed

and I think this is my favorite book in

the series because I read sequel Bands of

Mourning and I didn't like that one so

much like it was like a three-star read

but probably my least favorite series.

this one was my favourite in the series so I gave it

4 stars. I actually for a fun escapist

series i would definitely recommend the

wax and wane saga if you're interested.

It was one that i put off reading

because I heard some pretty bad things

about it because it's so different from

the original mistborn saga in tone and

storyline but you know sometimes you

need that light fun time with also a

super cool magic system and this has that. So

yeah anyway that's all i have to talk

about today. Thank you guys for watching

and I'll see you in my next video bye!

Chi mi conosce meglio fra le mie migliori amiche? Who knows me better? BFF vs BFF - Duration: 9:11.

>> Hi ya'll and welcome or welcome back to my channel

I'm Giuliana and as you can see today I'm not alone and here with me I have my BFFs

Alessia and Antonella

whom you may remember from my life in pictures video and last year they were also in a vlog from Bologna

That said, together with my husband Daniele they are probably the ones who know me better

and as you may have guessed from the title today I want to test which one of them knows me the most

I prepared 10 questions for them to reply to

Choose your buzzer sound

they sound quite similar but that's ok

The first one to hit her buzzer can answer first

if the answer won't be correct the other competitor will have a go too

Ready?

Question number one

Which is my favourite band?

The Who

That's 100% right

I love that you both knew the answer, but Anto got it first

so the score is 1 - 0

hmmmm what's next? Question number 2

How tall am I?

1.59

yep, that's what my ID says

it's a tie!

Question number 3

What was my first highschool boyfriend name?

Ermes

That's wrong, it was actually Elmes

yep, that's correct!

That's right, well done Anto!

The lovely Elmes...LOL

by the way in case he should be watching...Hi Elmes!

good old ERmes

The lovely good old Elmes

Ok, question number...

wait, what's the score?

ehmm..2 to 1? 2...1...

2 to 1..ok go!

anyway you'll see the correct score as I'll insert it on the screen

Ok, go, go ,go!

Question number...I don't know where we were...

it's number 4

our memory is not as good as it was

How many different hair colors I had in my life?

5...no!

8

That's impressive, really impressive

Can you name them all?

Blue

blue bangs,

green

Fire red

I would call it clown red

white

yep, bleached

Did I say green yet?

yes

fuscia

fuscia, purple...

Purple?

yes, can't you remember? I had it twice

once with short hair in Bologna

Blonde...

yes..wait I lost track

brown

brown is my natural hair...poopy brown

What did we forget? Red, Blue, bleached, fire red, purple, green, fuscia and blonde.

What about pink? Yep...pink!

when have I had pink hair?

at the beginning, when you first went to Turin

only at the ends

it was fuscia that turned pink after washing a few times

so the score is 3 to 1, c'mon!

how are do you call the ones who can't see colors? Color blind right?

Yep color blind

Ok, question number...

Colorblind..so fancy to say

When did I open my Youtube channel?

2010

2008

what the heck? It's right, 2008

when was Youtube founded?

2005/2006 I think

yep 2008, I think it was on december 25th or 24th

I was bored

wait, what's the score? 4 to...?

to 1

Question number..

4 + 1...6, question number 6

what's my second name?

Maria?

No, uncorrect!

Teresa

Correct, by the way my mother's name is Maria Teresa, so I say why your answers were Maria and Teresa

but the correct answer is Teresa

5 to 1

that's a lovely name

you never used it

just like I never used Lucia

that's lovely too

that was your grandma's name, right?

Ok, question number...I don't know

7 maybe...

what was the final grade I got for my University degree?

110

Correct..YAY!

and we were there to support you

except that we were late because we were buying you flowers

I will never forget that day...

one of the most embarassing moments..

by the way I keep asking myself why did I choose that outfit, do you remember it?

no, I only remember that we were looking for the flowers and we arrived late, that's something I'll never forget

and we were told off by the florist because we asked her to hurry up

the florist told you off?

Yep because we asked her to hurry up

that's not nice...anyway I was dressed horribly

what did you wear?

I wore a brown blouse with beige stripes, an horrible beige vest on top

and some wide trousers, when did I ever wear wide trousers...

I regret it everytime I see a picture

Anyway I lost track of the score

no one knows? You answered the last question right?

yep, 110

so it should be 6 to 3, which means this is question number 9

which is my favourite city in the world?

in the whole universe?

that's London

yes, that was an easy one.

6 to 4

so this should be the last question...no wait we have 2 more

when did I get married?

2012

the year Cik was born

yep that's when Anto's son was born

the last of Anto's children

and when I fell in love

and when I got married

ok, so the score is...? 4 to 5??

No...what the eff am I saying?

it's 7 to 4

4 to 5??? You were winning since the beginning...

so it's 7 to 3

basically Anto already won, but I'll read the last question anyway

what was the address of our first flat in Bologna?

Via Andrea costa, but I can't remember the number

I'm sure you know it

it's either 178 or 175, I think 178

what was the name of the pizza place?

Il ciclope

friends from Bologna if you wish to visit those places...

and the coffee place was called Minnie

what about the woman next door?

I'll bleep that out for privacy reasons

is ...... the one you saved when she her wardrobe fell?

Millaaaa!

no that was the other one, not .....

that's the one she saved

and who was the one next to us?

it's the one with the cat called Milla, but I don't remember the name

while .... is the one Antonella saved

the other one was called Bruna

yes, Bruna, you're right..wow Anto your memory is impressive

yep Anto has the best memory ever

and so Antonella won

she won a kiss on her forehead

I'm going to do a pretended one because I have lipstick on

By the way I told them but I forgot to tell you that the prize for the winner was a kiss on the forehead as you saw

well, congrats Anto, but you both know me very well

and what about you? Did you manage to answer some of the questions?

you should know some of the replies, but some other not

let me know in the comments how many questions you got right

That said I hope that you enjoyed the video, if so don't forget to give it

a thumbs up so that I will know and if you haven't yet

subscribe to my channel in order not to miss any new video

That's it for today, we're signing off

ciao, a kiss and I'll see you in my next one, ciaoooo.

Microbes in Flux - Duration: 1:19.

Our guts have millions of microbes in them.

And for patients with inflammatory bowel disease,

those microbes have a story to tell.

Scientists recently listened to that story

by examining the microbes in fecal samples of IBD patients

and their healthy counterparts.

As this illustration shows,

the make-up of a person's community of gut microbes

differed depending on what type of disease a patient had.

Not only that.

Scientists also tracked how each person's microbes

changed over time.

In this analysis,

the first four samples from dozens of participants were plotted.

Each line begins with a point that represents the first sample,

and then the line is drawn to the second sample, and so on.

The longer the lines, the greater the change in that person's microbiome over time.

The results show that healthy people, noted by the green lines,

had the most stable gut microbiomes.

and that patients with Ileal Crohn's disease who have had surgery

noted by the yellow lines

experienced the greatest shifts in their microbiome.

The researchers hope this method of tracking microbes

could give doctors an additional tool

to monitor the health of IBD patients.

Joni's Corner: Left Handed Wheelchair - Duration: 1:18.

Hi I'm Joni Erickson Tada.

Our Wheels forthe World team was in Thailand unloading

wheelchairs when we noticed a chair

designed for a person with the use of

only one arm, the left arm.

Well about mid-morning a man named

Francis arrived at the distribution site,

he had been injured in a work accident

his legs were permanently damaged and he

had only one arm, that's correct.

Only his left arm worked. Wow who

would've thought that specific

wheelchair would end up in Thailand

where a very particular left-handed man

would be in need of one. No one knew it

at least no one but God.

Proverbs Chapter 16 says commit to the

Lord whatever you do and your plans will succeed.

Because when we placed our plans

in his hands we see beautiful results.

Friend, as the Lord leads, how about making plans to

[VICTOR] It was a tough match,

their team valued our victory, they ran a lot.

We didn't put up a great performance today,

but a team that wants to win titles must also win this kind of match.

That was what we did, we managed to win,

I'm happy for providing two assists,

I can only thank God! See you, guys!

[THIAGO] I'd like to thank our fans, it was a beautiful,

now we need to rest, we're going to play against São Paulo on Wednesday.

We're counting on your support,

RO Series Acadian Blends - Pipe Tobacco - PipesandCigars.com - Duration: 2:40.

Hi I'm Russ Ouellette from Pipes and Cigars

.com and today I'd like to talk to

you about the RO series Acadian blends. In

October of 2015, I had the pleasure to

spend some time with Mark Ryan at the La

Poche Perique factory in St. James Parish.

After we toured and had a chance to sit

down and talk,

I tossed out an idea that I had. I asked

mark if he had ever tried processing

Virginia like Perique. He said that he had

talked to somebody about it and they

said it wouldn't work because with

tobacco would break down and would be

useless. I suggested that maybe with less

pressure and a little less time in might

turn out ok. Before i even had a chance

to discuss it further,

Mark got on the phone, called a supplier

in Canada and had 800 pounds of Canadian

bright organically grown Virginia sent

down to St. James. The tobacco was

processed exactly the same way that

Perique is. As a pleasant surprise, we

found out after five months, that the

Virginia had completely transformed. When

i first got the chance to try the

tobacco that we now call Acadian Gold, I

was amazed by the difference from

regular bright Virginia. It picked up a

new mommy note that also had a maltyness to

it,

unlike anything else I have ever tried.

So we decided to put together three

blends using this new type of tobacco. So

now we have aAcadian Gold, Acadian

Vapor and Acadian English, so that

there's something there for just about

everybody.

Straight Acadian Gold is nothing but

that processed Virginia. Acadian

Vapor includes some Perique to add a

little bit more liveliness to the blend.

And Acadian English uses Latakia and a

bit of black cavendish to give it a

smoky intrigue. And that's a little bit

about theRO Series Acadian blends, I'm

Russ Ouellette from PipesandCigars

.com, thanks for watching.
