Infinite Warfare Zombies is Getting Things Right! - Duration: 6:37.
Hey RAD Company and welcome to another wonderful zombie video!
Today I wanted to discuss how promising infinite warfare zombies is becoming.
Now this does not mean it is going to be better than Treyrach zombies by any means, but I
believe Infinity Ward is displaying improvement that was far greater than what we received
with advanced warfare.
Before I get into the arguments and points of this video I do want to inform you that
I am not sponsored by Activision or any of the developers.
I am not here to blow smoke up one company's butt or another.
I am also not here to crap on games because it is easy.
Instead I want to create a discussion about the progress that Lee Ross and the team is
making.
Exo-zombies was tacked onto the end of Advanced warfare after the backlash the game received
for not having zombies.
The community excitement turned into a cease pool of awful internet comments.
In return the developers got money from Activision, hired a bunch of A list actors, and happily
took our money for a DLC season.
They hardly interacted with fans and made things up as they went along.
Zombies was outsourced to another studio, but overseen by sledge hammer.
The passion wasn't there at all for the game.
It is understandable too, because it doesn't come from a place of love.
Instead fans felt a sense of entitlement, which forced the developers to respond.
Treyarch zombies came from a couple of developers working on something they weren't supposed
to, but found that the game was fun.
They took a leap of faith and were rewarded.
I honestly hope the next sledge hammer game chooses to do something different than zombies.
I hope they do a game mode that challenges us like Nazi Zombies did to Modern Warfare
back in the day.
There are rumors that the next Call of Duty is going back to its roots.
With the poor sales of infinite warfare and the high user engagement on Modern Warfare
Remaster it seems Activision has given into the demands of the community.
I hope that doesn't mean Activision will continue to cave at consumers demands.
If that doesn't occur, we could see innovation in the Call of Duty franchise again.
Zombies was never the status quo and was laughed at in the past.
Treyarch pushed the mode without any marketing for years and found huge success for putting
passion into their mode.
That type of passion I am seeing in Lee Ross, maybe not as much, but it is certainly there.
In his live streams and constant community interaction you can see he cares about his
game.
He gave fans an outro cut scene after they voiced their dissatisfaction for the previous
ending.
We saw dramatic gameplay changes like starting without any weapons in Rave in the Redwoods.
It was a baby step in a direction in innovation.
We have had 22 zombie maps and we have always started with a pistol.
Revelation's ending feature was an awesome step to change things up as it rewarded players
with two pistols with full ammo for completing all the Easter eggs.
The fundamentals of zombies haven't been changed in almost 10 years.
We have experienced constant alteration or additions, but something as simple as "no
starting pistol" is an excellent reexamination of the mode.
You may wonder why does that matter?
It matters because it allows for developers to rework the game in way that you never thought
possible.
Another example could be changing the way we earn point.
In the past, we shoot zombies, we get points (for the most part).
A custom zombie map called Dead Ship turned the point system on its head.
It created a wallet system, only counted kills, and made players work to properly allocate
their points.
The map received major acclaim in the modder community back in the day because of these
seemingly simple tweaks to game mechanics.
Besides the enthusiasm from Lee Ross, we see the improvements from Zombies in Spaceland
to Rave in the Redwoods.
The main quest storyline is easy to complete and reminds me of the Call of the Dead solo
easter egg.
It is something to do while you play, but you can enjoy the map at your own pace.
Gameplay is fun and exciting with the Rave mode feature.
The slasher adds an interesting dynamic while playing on the atmosphere.
I love the fact that you can't kill the slasher in rave mode (unless you beat the
easter egg) like you can't kill Freddy Kruger while in your dreams.
Inside the map, we found less complicated rewards than all the things we had to build
in zombies in spaceland.
I cannot explain to you how to make the exquisite device, but I can tell you how to get all
the weapon modifications in Rave in the Redwoods.
They aren't convoluted process or tedious fetch quests.
They flesh out character stories allowing players to branch off the dryness of story.
Now, please understand with all this positive feedback there are plenty of issues with the
mode.
We still find ourselves stuck in what seems to be some of the best custom zombie maps
around, but it seems to be going somewhere.
We experienced a huge back and forth between exo zombie maps.
Throughout the season people hated the direction in which the maps went.
I have many peers that argue that the first map was the best, while others love carrier.
The take away from their opinions is the maps are all over the place.
Having hit or miss maps devastates an entire zombie season.
You can check out my opinions on black ops 3 in a video linked in the cards and description,
but I think black ops 3 was an excellent example of a season always improving until one bad
map ruins the whole season.
Infinite Warfare zombies seems to be improving with each installment, but the next two maps
are really going to put Lee Ross's zombies on the map or not.
I honestly hope for the best because it seems clear that the developers care for this game
mode.

I do want to point out that I do have personal stakes in zombies, but whether the maps do
well or night doesn't completely effect my channel.
If a map bombs it can be just as helpful as a great map release.
I try my best to examine zombies with a fair perspective, but I am not fool enough to believe
I do not have bias.

NOW, HE SCRAMBLED TO GET IT FIXED BEFORE THE NEXT STORM
AND MORE RAIN.
YOU CAN SEE THAT COMING SPILLWAY, AND THEY ARE RUSHING
TO FIX IT, BUT LUCKILY THEY AVOIDED A COMPLETE COULD ñ

WEAPONS MANUFACTURING AND ALL THIS ON WARS ABROAD, HOW ABOUT
WE BRING SOME OF THAT MONEY BACK INTO THE UNITED STATES?
MAYBE HE SHOULD STOP TRYING TO FEARMONGER OVER IRAN FOR A 2ND.
ANOTHER THING THEY WANT TO DO, NOT ONLY GIVE ALL THE
CONTEXT OF THEIR DONORS, THEY WANT TO PRIVATIZE THE HIGHWAYS.
PLEASE DON'T DO THAT.
YOU KNOW WHAT AND THAT HAPPENING?
YOU PAID THE BILL.
SO, THEIR DONORS GET THE IMMEDIATE MONEY, AND THEY
PUT IT IN THEIR POCKET, AND THEY FIXED THE HIGHWAY OR
WHATEVER, AND THEN THEY OWN THE HIGHWAY, AND THEN THEY
CHARGE YOU FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE.
IT'S A DISASTER, TOLL ROADS ARE A DISASTER.
IF YOU ARE GOING TO SPEND PUBLIC MONEY, GO AHEAD AND SPEND
IT AND LET THE PUBLIC KEEP IT.

know where we're going and then I saw
light I heard a voice and I ran to the light.

my brother at the time, and the darkness
just went away and this is what God
is calling you to do your in your
darkness He is light
Jesus Christ is the light of the world
run to Him and be saved the darkness
