So, let's talk a little bit about the -- the evaluation.
Tyra: Yes.
It came out, once again, very, very close.
.
Schwarzenegger: So, let's talk a
little bit about the evaluation.
Tyra: Yes.
It came out, once again, very, very close.
Tyra, what did Carnival think about Team Boy George?
So, the clients were very impressed
with your presentation.
They thought that the party was on point
and that the photos were phenomenal.
Thank you.
And they also loved that your variety show
stayed on the theme of emoting cruising.
They really liked that.
And they thought the performance was absolutely amazing.
And that was great.
Schwarzenegger: Terrific.
So, Patrick, why don't you talk about Matt and his team?
Patrick: So, Matt, the executives thought
that you performing
was super engaging and super fun.
And they loved the party
and the animals that you organized.
They also thought
that the passport was a great special touch.
Overall, they felt you stayed on theme,
so they were very, very pleased.
Schwarzenegger: Good.
Do you want to hear how much money was raised?
-Yes. -Yes.
-Yes. -Do you -- Do you know at all?
I mean, do you...
I have an idea of how much we raised.
Good, go ahead.
Tyra: Boy George, you raised $445,925.
-Oh, wow. [ Applause ]
Almost a half a million dollars.
Schwarzenegger: And how about Matt?
Patrick: And, Matt, you raised $573,329.
[ Applause ] -Yes.
Tyra: Wow.
Patrick: So much for you can't fund-raise.
Carnie: Whoo.
Whoo. -Amazing, amazing.
Schwarzenegger: But imagine how much money was raised here --
like a million dollars between the two of you.
Patrick: Incredible.
-Well-done, Matt, well-done. -Yeah, thank you.
You as well. -And well-done to you.
[ Laughs ] A million dollars. That's amazing.
Schwarzenegger: Well, again, I want to have both of you stay here.
And I would like the helpers now to go to the war room,
have a good time, enjoy yourself.
Thank you so much for your help.
-Thank you so much. -Thank you.
And congratulations. Thank you very much.
Thank you. A big hand to the great helpers.
[ Applause ]
Laila: This is the first time I hate leaving there.
-That's the classic. [ Laughter ]
Carson: Melissa, can we get some margaritas
up in our conference room? -Oh, my God.
Yes, please.
And we need 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 male masseuses.
-Virgin here. -Thank you.
[ Dramatic music plays ]
Schwarzenegger: You guys have come all the way to the end.
Two champions.
And I'm really proud of both of you.
Matt, you were the least well-known
of any of the contestants.
[ Laughs ]
But that did not discourage you.
You just kept going and going.
You were the typical underdog.
And you surprised everyone.
Time after time, again and again,
you had the most wonderful presentations.
Very articulate. You used your doctor title,
your comedy routine, everything.
And then, of course, in the end,
you really exploded when you did your final presentation,
and you just blew everyone away.
On top of all that,
you raised over a half a million dollars for your charity.
That is unbelievable.
Congratulations.
And you, George, also did an unbelievable job.
You -- contrary to Matt -- you came in as the big star.
You won the first task -- bang!
And, then, one after the next -- bang, bang, bang.
Then, all of a sudden, I saw you falling.
And you had to go and look now deep inside of you.
Can you do it or not?
You had to start shifting gears and find that gear,
but you found it.
And you picked yourself up,
and all of a sudden, bang, you came back.
And last night when I saw the presentation,
absolutely fantastic.
And you raised a lot of money for your charity.
$446,000 for your charity.
That is amazing.
So congratulations.
Boy George: That's a big sum for my charity.
You know, Safe Kids, uh,
not many people know about this charity.
A million kids every year die of preventable accidents, you know?
I'm just really proud to be here.
You know, I'm really excited to be here.
I can't believe it.
You know, I really can't believe it. [ Laughs ]
Well, I have a really difficult decision to make.
[ Suspenseful music plays ]

[ Suspenseful music plays ]
I have a really difficult decision to make.
So, Matt, tell me now, why do you think
you should be the new Celebrity Apprentice?
The message we got from the beginning was work hard.
I don't know that anyone has worked harder than me
consistently, week in and week out,
and taken every opportunity
when you said, "Don't be afraid to fail,"
to go out and to put makeup on
in front of you with your product
and to -- to -- to put yourself in these positions
where you can fall flat on your face.
I felt like one of the things in business
is to be able to be a leader when you need to be
and to be an organizer when you have to be
and to learn how to bring the best out in people.
And I think we both had great records,
and I think part of the reason that I did so well
was I brought the best out in people around me
and figured out how to make them feel good
and to feel passionate about a project.
And I think those are the things
that make a great businessperson.
And in the end,
when you questioned me about raising money,
I set an impossible goal, and I beat it.
Well, you know, you both are very, very close.
I mean, it's like dead even.
I want to hear from George now,
why do you think you should be the next Celebrity Apprentice?
Well, I came here kind of thinking
I'm not really a business guy.
You know, I'm a creative guy.
And what I've learned is that actually,
I do have a good business head.
You know, I can be a team player.
And when it's important,
I can really dig deep inside and do things
that are completely out of my comfort zone.
And, um, you know, for me, this has been --
I mean, I-I already feel like I've won, you know,
because I've raised so much money, and I feel --
I don't mean -- you know, want to get into Matt.
I just feel like, you know, I-I don't feel any great loss.
So I'm very proud of what I've done, you know?
I absolutely did not think I would get to the end.
I just have to say that, George, you did an unbelievable job,
and I think that you realized at the middle somewhere
that you did not have your entourage there to help you,
that you were on your own
and that you had to reach deep down inside your gut
and find the real you,
find the gear to shift into that gets you going again.
And you found it.
And here you are sitting as one of two finalists.
Matt, you've been a true champion,
and you were grinding it out, task after task.
I think maybe your charity was a big motivation,
because you kept
really passionately talking about the arthritis
and about your own illness and what you had to do.
And that's what motivated you to get involved in that.
So I just want to say congratulations to you
for having done such an extraordinary job.
And I have a very, very tough decision to make.
And I just have to say that...
Matt, you are the new Celebrity Apprentice.
[ Heroic music plays ]
Congratulations. -Thank you.
[ Applause ]
[ Laughs ]
Thank you very much,
and it was great to have both of you there.
Congratulations, and good luck with everything.
Thank you, Governor. When do we start?! [ Laughs ]
Thank you very much.
See ya.
The bottom line is it's very clear why you won,
because you kicked some serious butt
task after task after task.
And that, you know, makes a winner.
-Thank you. -Consistency.
-Thank you. -So congratulations.
-Thank you. -I saw it the first week.
The first week, I was like,
"That's one to watch right there."
-Exactly. -[ Laughing ] "He's no joke."
[ Mid-tempo music plays ]
Porsha: I'm so glad I came back to help.
I'm so glad I was part of this.
It was a beautiful moment for both of them.
Carson: Mm-hmm.
[ All cheering ]
Woman: Oh, my God! Wonderful!
-Yes! -Yay!
Yay!
-Let's get you some champagne. -Yes!
Pop that bubbly, right? [ Laughing ] Yeah!
We're finally all gonna drink together, huh?
-Oh, no. [ Cork pops ]
[ All cheering ]
That never happens to Carson.
No -- well, you bring out the best in me, Matt.
[ Laughter ]
This has been more fun than I could have possibly imagined.
The things we got to do,
to have the run of The Wizarding World of Harry Potter,
to get to put makeup on for Tyra Banks,
to get to record a song with Boy George and Vince Neil
and to get to raise over half a million dollars
for my charity, it's been awesome.
And -- And I got to do it with my idol, Arnold Schwarzenegger,
so pretty much dream come true.
We've raised a million dollars together.
-That is wonderful. -Yeah. It's so nice.
But you are the new Celebrity Apprentice.
Yeah.
-Cheers to Matt! -Cheers!
-The new Celebrity Apprentice! [ All cheering ]
I hope Arnold really gives me a job.
[ Laughter ]
