CHICKEN ALFREDO PASTA RECIPE - Duration: 3:56.

Hello folks it is barry here welcome to my virgin kitchen it is freezing here on the

beach today but we are back again getting out and about while the builders are here,

Leigh-Ann Cooper put in a really nice request about seeing an alfredo sauce recipe so today

this is my chicken alfredo pasta it is so simple you can do a lot of the steps in the

microwave I absolutely loved it I hope you do too, I am going to be as quick as I can

because I am really numb we just did the voiceover with mrs barry for her trolls movie cake I

feel like I am stood with an eskimo, but we are just getting this done, but trust me guys

you are going to love this, the full steps, method, ingredients are on myvirginkitchen.com

please give this a go, you are going to love it, you can mix it up use prawns go vegetarian

with it but I just bashed up one chicken breast between a sheet of cling film that I just

doubled on itself bashed with a rolling pin, bit of stress relief there, got it nice and

thin, whacked it on a griddle pan, charred it either side then left it to rest while

I cracked on with the other steps.

So my other steps included cooking broccoli in a microwave which is super simple it is

just like steaming it, all you do is chuck some broccoli into a mixing bowl pour on a

tablespoon of water, then bung it in the microwave for a minute with a plate on top, that actually

does steam it, works really well, but be careful when you do remove it at first it is hot baby.

So just before I started making the sauce this recipe is so fast, but using fresh pasta

it makes it even quicker and easier so I just dumped that on ready to go and it was time

to make this gorgeous alfredo sauce, so again using the power of your microwave grab a mixing

bowl and shove in some cubes of butter and the first thing we do is melt that up which

takes about 30 seconds do not overdo that otherwise there will be splatters of butter

everywhere, otherwise mrs barry would have killed me and your equivalent of mrs barry

will kill you.

So with the butter nice and melted grab some double cream very naughty indeed, pour that

in and give it a little stir together then you just want to shove that in the microwave

again to warm it through.

So when that is all done it is time to add some cheese now the thing that adds the most

flavour is some really good quality cheese so go all out on that ok grate it in thirds

so it dissolves using the heat from that microwave so a third at a time mix it through, add in

another, another third so that is two thirds, good maths barry, so mix that through.

With two thirds of the cheese in there I gave it a season with salt and pepper and added

in that last grating of the cheese on there, mix it through then just put it in the microwave

for 20 seconds or so to warm it through, ready to pour together.

So believe it or not with your pasta drained and chicken sliced up that is all of the steps

done so grab yourself a big old bowl, pour in the drained pasta, dump in the steamed

broccoli from the microwave amazing, you have to try that then drench it in the sauce, give

it a good old stir through to make sure it is fully coated and if you want, in fact I

probably would have done that if I was not filming it, just eat it straight out of the

bowl, just do that, so then I just served it in a good old serving dish with some strips

of chicken on top the recipe quantities is enough for 2 people on the website, little

bit of parsley, little bit of pepper and an extra shaving of parmesan on top, and trust

me this is my facial expression about an hour ago when I was in a much warmer kitchen it

was absolutely phenomenal so there we are Leanne I know you wanted to try this recipe

out and wanted it as simple as you could so I have done that for you and you said no onions
