Waching daily Feb 23 2017

I'm Michelle Posada

and today we're making chocolate truffles/nougat,

because we can make both versions,

which are made with chocolate and dried fruits

It's delicious

and we have a special guest,

she's Lilibeth Ramírez from the account @RecetasLily.

Stay tuned for more.

I'm here with Lily

from the youtube channel called Recetas Lily.

Thank you for being here in my kitchen.

Thank you for inviting me I'm very grateful.

Tell us about these chocolate and walnuts truffles.

Tell us about its properties or how can we prepare them.

Well there's nothing better than chocolate right?

It's even better when we can have them as sweet and delicious snacks

and filled with good fat

because these have only nuts and dark chocolate with no added sugar.

- Very important. - Yes, very important.

It's also important for you to make them in a small size

because I know you'll eat more than one,

so I don't want any regrets later.

Oh my god, these truffles must be good then.

Stay tuned for the preparation.

1 teaspoon of coconut oil

1 cup of any dried fruits or nuts: walnuts, almonds, cashews, sesame seeds, cranberries

50 gr. of dark chocolate

3 tablespoons of honey

Cinnamon powder

1 tablespoon of vanilla

1 tablespoon of any sweetener with no calories

Cook for 5 minutes.

The truffles are done and they're delicious.

Thank you for this recipe.

I'm glad you liked it and remember not to eat too many.

Because, even though there're healthy everything has calories

and too much of everything is bad for you.

Make them with dark chocolate and not with Nutella.

Exactly.

By the way, if you like these shirts, like mine or Lily's,

there're a lot of options with different foods.

This is a line I did for my store: Aprile Fashion,

and it's dedicated to foodies like us

and you, because you're watching this show.

So you can buy them at aprilefashion.com.

Thanks for the ad Michi's Kitchen.

And thank you for the shirt.

She also has one with the Nutella design,

because she's also a Nutella lover.

Sometimes arepa with Nutella go well.

It could be an interesting combination.

Well, remember to subscribe to my channel: Michi's Kitchen

and of course, you have to subscribe to her channel too: Recetas Lily,

because over there we did another recipe together

and you can't miss it.

So hurry and watch that video too and subscribe to both channels.

Babies Being Prepared for AI & Transhumanism Through Vaccines & Medicine - Duration: 4:11.

Babies Being Prepared for AI & Transhumanism Through Vaccines & Medicine.

by Pao Chang.

In this interesting video, Dr Graham Downing shares some very important information about

how vaccines, pharmaceutical drugs and certain technologies are being used to prepare babies

and the rest of the human race to accept Transhumanism with little resistance.

He also explains why Transhumanism is not the right path for the human race, because

it destroys our natural human expression.

If you do not know what Transhumanism is, here is a brief explanation from SingularitySymposium.com:

Put simply Transhumanism is the belief that technology can allow us to improve, enhance

and overcome the limits of our biology.

More specifically, transhumanists such as Max More, Natasha Vita-More and Ray Kurzweil

believe that by merging man and machine via biotechnology, molecular nanotechnologies,

and artificial intelligence, one day science will yield humans that have increased cognitive

abilities, are physically stronger, emotionally more stable and have indefinite life-spans.

This path, they say, will eventually lead to posthuman intelligent (augmented)

beings far superior to man a near embodiment of god.

Many supporters of Transhumanism support it because the technology created by transhumanist

scientists can significantly expand their lifespan and make them nearly immune to disability.

What these supporters do not innerstand is that replacing some of their body parts with

machine parts will weaken their connection to Nature, the source of their life force

energy.

Once they replace enough of their body parts with machine parts, they will lose most of

their human soul expression.

What you need to know about the life force energy of Nature is that it is needed to keep

your soul intact.

If you were to severely weaken your connection to this life force energy, you would spiritually

die slowly.

In other words, the consequence of severing your connection to the life force energy of

Nature is the destruction of your soul identity.

The hidden agenda of the Transhumanism movement is to turn people into soulless and mindless

cyborgs with no emotions and free will, allowing the Dark Forces to control them like remote

control robots.

Is it worth losing your freedom, creativity, emotions, free will and soul to live longer?

That is a question for you to contemplate.

If you care about your childrens future and the future of the human race, you need

to watch the following video.

Riverside Business Spotlight on Brenner-Fiedler - Building Futures Through Automation - Duration: 2:20.

(upbeat motivational music)

- [Narrator] There's been a lot of talk lately

about keeping manufacturing jobs in the US.

Brenner-Fiedler, a company based in Riverside, California

says it's doing just that by hiring engineering students

from local colleges and universities

and focusing on automation.

- [Joe] A lot of the labor costs in California are going up,

so automation, I think, is going to be a key factor

in keeping manufacturing in Riverside.

- [Narrator] The company has been creating

and retrofitting devices for medical,

industrial, and manufacturing industries.

Using a team of engineers and fabricators,

they create or modify existing equipment

to make the customer's device perform

better, faster and safer.

Joe Manalastas explains how they helped a recent client.

- [Joe] We designed them an ergonomic table, and allows them

to automatically test three valves at a time.

We made two of those tables a day,

and now we can test six valves at a time,

and can easily increase their throughput by 700%.

- [Narrator] When they're not using robots or automation

to help customers save time and money,

they're busy recruiting local talent at career fairs

or being part of manufacturing day.

They focus on STEM students, who are skilled in science,

technology, engineering and math because those students

might become future interns or employees.

Recently, they opened their doors to show students

what a career at Brenner-Fiedler is really like.

- [Mallayana] We basically showed them

what our facility was like inside.

We taught them about manufacturing,

we taught them about production,

and we taught them about engineering.

- [Narrator] The company recognizes that the industry

needs to recruit more women.

Not only do they have women in key positions,

but one of them has a message for young women

who are considering a career in STEM.

- [Rocio] There's a lot of opportunities out in the world

with the new automation lines, new robotics coming through.

Follow your dreams, make sure, be determined.

There's nothing really out there

that will actually stop you if you're really determined.

- [Narrator] To find out more about the innovative

products and solutions being developed by the company,

When Scientists Get Political - Duration: 3:26.

Martin Luther King preached the "politics of the possible."

That basically, if you want change, you need to be proposing a change that's politically

possible.

[Sciq Intro]

But here's the problem.

We're coming up to the March for Science and the People's Climate March, and I ve

been thinking about what the list of demands are.

And so often I see scientists making demands for things that just aren't possible!

For example - one of the things people are advocating for at the People's Climate March

is that "every job pays a wage of at least $15 an hour".

But to me that just seems like a good message at the wrong time.

It's an impossible demand, and I feel like we haven't bothered to understand the political

climate before we ask for it.

Don't get me wrong, extraordinary change is possible.

But you have to make extraordinary change happen, you have to do it in a way that benefits

everyone, or almost everyone.

Here's an example - Mexico is one of the most biologically diverse countries in the

world, it's rainforests are super important.

But in the 1980s and 1990s the rainforests were basically being stripmined for their

precious wood and then burned for agricultural land.

It was really bad.

And a lot of people who tried to stand up to the Government got into various levels

of trouble.

But in the middle of all this deforestation, there was one guy, a Mexican scientist named

Jose Sarukhan - who convinced the Government to set up and fund entire Government agency

dedicated to applying environemtal science and protecting Mexicos biodiversity, called

CONABIO.

So why did Sarukhan succeed when others have failed?

Well he took the time to understand what the President actually needed.

He knew the people of Mexico were upset about deforestation, and he knew the President Knew,

and so he proposed a viable solution - a government department - that would make everyone happy.

He didn't propose a radical change, he didn't organizan marches in the street, he gave the

president something that was politically possible.

And CONABIO has been there safeguarding Mexico's biodiversity for more than 20 years.

And this year Sarukhan has been chosen to win the Tyler Prize for Environmental Achievement,

considered the nobel Prize for the environment.

I think the message here is that scientists need to get serious about making change in

ways that build bridges.

But we first need to understand the political climate before we begin making extraordinary

demands.

Extraordinary demands can often just polarize people, make people dig in their heals.

Maybe there's some common ground that we could be pitching for, something the Trump

administration will agree to.

Maybe advising him on how to gear the world for renewable energy – a game he can win

at?

We need change.

But let's practice the politics of the possible.

And maybe we'll get there.

What about you, ScIQ viewers?

Do you have any ideas on how we can practice the politics of possible when it comes to

science?

Is there any common ground that you can see between our current government and the many

problems that science can help to solve?

Let us know in the comments below!

Still Loving You | 闪耀的恩秀 | 빛나라 은수 - Ep.58 [SUB : ENG,CHN,IND / 2017.02.22] - Duration: 33:55.

Bitna, what are you doing?

What did you say to Eunsu?

It's okay, Suho.

Director Kim must be in a very bad mood today.

Director Kim, you don't have to worry anymore

because the two of us are doing very well.

I'll get going.

(Episode 58)

It's nothing.

Oh, right.

My mom said she's friends with your mom.

You're lying.

It's true.

I swear it's true.

Your mother is really friends with my mom?

Yes.

I heard they are childhood friends.

They supposedly go way back.

But why didn't Mom tell me?

You see...

My friend's playing dumb,

so I won't embarrass her.

She bragged about her daughter being

a teacher, but she's now an intern at Yoon Ga.

That's to say, we've long been fated to be together.

Now you're just being silly.

Anyway, they'll find it amusing

when they find out we're dating.

Perhaps.

I should ask.

No.

Your mom doesn't know I'm an "MBFS,"

so let's get them together

and surprise them at the same time,

okay?

You know what "MBFS" means?

Yes. Mom's best friend's son.

I'm your mom's best friend's son.

Mom's best friend's son?

Mom's best friend's son.

Amazing.

Let's go, MBFS.

Wait up.

That makes me an MBFD?

Yes. Mom's best friend's daughter.

That's amazing.

What is?

So brazen.

I was standing right there.

I just don't understand Suho.

Why's he smitten with a woman like her?

You're back.

Yes.

Mind getting my clothes?

Get them yourself.

I couldn't help it regarding dinner. I'm sorry.

What's wrong?

We're in the middle of a conversation.

Won't you talk to me?

Did you just ask me what's wrong?

If you really don't know,

you're a truly awful man.

Why did I fall in love with a man like that?

Why do I hate him but also love him?

What are you doing?

I'm going down to get some water.

Did the date go well?

Yes.

Are you that happy?

You should know since you dated too.

I couldn't be happier.

What an idiot.

How can two brothers be so different?

Who's coddling her?

I want her married as soon as possible.

Sounds like a decent catch.

I'll call you back after I ask Sumin tonight.

If Sumin's not interested, I'll ask around.

Okay. Bye.

Sumin's a doctor, so how will

a regular office worker cut it?

Does someone want to set Sumin up?

Yes.

I'm back.

Hi.

Sumin, you shouldn't be out so late.

I told you I was meeting friends.

Is this the time to see friends?

Meet a man.

Are you not going to get married?

I'll marry when the time comes.

When will that be?

Who knows?

Might be tomorrow or

maybe 20 or 30 years from now.

- Sumin! / - Geez.

Why'd you yell?

20, 30 years from now?

How can you say that to your mother?

No. This won't do.

Go on a blind date tomorrow.

You're way too stuffy.

I don't care for the man I just heard about,

but meet him anyway.

Yes, Sumin. At least meet him.

Why would I meet someone you don't care for?

What?

Then I'll register you

at one of those matchmaking agencies,

and that's final.

I'm not an object.

I said I didn't want to be objectified like that.

Flowers are pretty when they bloom,

but no one looks at them when they wilt.

Then I'll just die a spinster, okay?

That girl's making me age. She really does.

Good grief.

I should call to turn him down.

Mother.

Yes?

Don't any of your friends have daughters

who are about Sumin's age?

I do. Why?

You shouldn't turn it down right away

since you said you'd ask around.

Who'd be good?

Does your friend I saw at the wedding

have a daughter?

Oh. Yeonmi?

She does have a daughter.

Eunsu, come have tea.

I have to put on lotion.

Where's Eunho?

He said no distractions from his studies.

Mom.

Yes?

Are you friends with the wife of Yoon Ga's owner?

How did you know?

Oh... Just by chance.

We weren't in touch for a long time

and only just reestablished contact.

I couldn't tell you because I found out

around the time of the recipe contest.

Whoever she is, must be nice to be the owner's wife.

You must be envious.

Not really.

You know her, Mom.

You shut her down when she bragged about her kids.

That woman's the wife of Yoon Ga's owner?

Oh, my goodness. Why didn't you tell me?

What if she takes it out

on Eunsu because I was mean to her?

She wouldn't do that. Don't worry.

Just focus on your work

and you'll have nothing to worry about.

So the wedding you went to was

Yoon Ga's executive director's wedding?

That's right. I got there late,

so I didn't even get to see the bride and groom.

Yeonmi, her kids do seem to be very successful.

Isn't her daughter a doctor?

Yes, that's right.

The daughter's a doctor, and I think

her youngest is starting his own business.

I'm turning in. Have a good night.

- Okay. Sleep tight. / - Good night.

Rats. This mouth of mine is always the problem.

I should be nice to her when she comes.

Stupid. So stupid.

If Mom recognizes Kim Bitna...

Suho, are we truly fated to be together as you said?

Darn it.

Mother, do we have bread?

Bitna, Koreans are fueled by rice.

You must eat a full stomach of rice to go work hard.

Our poor Suho went to work at

the crack of dawn on an empty stomach.

I'm sure he's eating something much better.

Don't worry.

What are you doing?

Remove the tape.

Geez.

This, this. Remove it.

She was snoring so loudly that

I taped her mouth shut.

Oh my god.

You were going to kill me

for snoring a tiny bit?

You breathed and slept soundly.

It's safe as long as you don't have sleep apnea.

Didn't you just see me having trouble breathing?

Because you were overly conscious of the tape.

Here, here. You have some on your nose.

Take it off.

Sunjeong.

Two stews for table 4.

Okay.

We're all set, right?

Yes. Take a break.

Okay, Jisuk.

Good morning.

Good morning.

Are you at work already?

I just got in.

No one's here.

I want to run over to you right now,

but I shouldn't, right?

I'm holding myself back too.

Bubble bubble.

That's nice.

Just three times more, and that

should tide me over.

Forget it. Let's hang up.

I can't until you do it.

Hurry up.

Bubble bubble.

Bubble bubble back.

Bubble bubble.

Right back at you.

Last one. Bubble...

Of course I know doenjang stew must be

cooked until it's bubbling hot.

What is this?

You asked for it.

- Bubble bubble. / - Bubble bubble.

Welcome.

Ms. Oh.

Bubble bubble.

All stews taste good bubbling hot.

Even I know that.

What's this about "bubble bubble"?

Are you boiling something?

Mr. Yoon Suho asked for a doenjang soup recipe.

That's funny?

Pardon?

It is a bit funny.

Bubble bubble. Bubble bubble. Bubble bubble.

Ms. Oh, get to work.

I'm here.

Oh, hi.

Sit.

Geez. When will we get some relief?

It's cold out.

I know. Do you want coffee?

No. I had a cup at home.

Hey.

Did your daughter's blind date

a while back go well?

No.

Then should I set her up?

The matchmaker wanted my daughter,

but the wretched girl won't even meet the guy.

The guy's too good to lose.

How about it?

No.

Why not? Give it a go.

Your side does fall a bit short,

but it'll be fine if I put in a good word.

My daughter's seeing someone.

- She is? / - Yes.

What does he do?

He works in a kitchen.

Oh, wow. So he's a chef?

No, he's not a chef yet.

He works for a chef.

What? So he's a kitchen assistant.

When will he make his way up then?

He just started, so it'll take a while.

But he's a great guy.

He's reliable, so he'll do well.

So what if he's a great guy?

What about his family?

They're not talking about marriage yet.

Tell your daughter to dump him

and go on this blind date.

Your daughter deserves better.

They love each other, so what can I do?

Thanks though.

He's too good a catch to give up, but oh well.

Am I coming down with something?

Why do I have the chills?

I'm so cold.

You're all working hard.

Ms. Kim brought pumpkin porridge.

Come have some.

I was craving

warm porridge because it's so cold.

Oh, wow.

Here you go.

I'm all set.

It's cold, so have some to warm you up.

Like a stupid bowl of porridge can warm anyone up.

I don't eat out on the street like a barbarian.

Suit yourself.

Did everyone have their fill?

- It's so good. / - Would you like more?

It's so delicious.

Thank you.

It's very good.

Housekeeper, why's it so cold in here?

Turn up the thermostat.

Yes, ma'am.

What are you doing? You'll give me your cold.

Go away.

She's the one who gave it to me.

It's so hard working for her.

Housekeeper! Housekeeper!

- You called? / - Yes.

Make pumpkin porridge.

Pardon?

Hurry up and make me pumpkin porridge.

Pumpkin porridge takes time and effort.

Should I get some from a store?

That would be faster.

How does it take effort?

I have to get a pumpkin.

peel, cut, and boil it.

And we're out of powdered rice.

It'll take half a day. Should I make it?

Never mind then. I won't eat it.

Get out. Get out. Get out.

Good grief.

She's making a fuss over nothing.

Even an old hag whips it up just like that.

Good grief.

Good heavens. I'm so sore.

Ow, I'm sore. Ow, my shoulders.

Goodness me. Goodness me.

Goodness me.

I sent you the outline, so check your email.

Okay. Thanks.

You're fast.

I worked on it during my study breaks.

Did you draw this?

Yes. What do you think?

It's great.

You finally seem like a webtoon artist.

Seem like?

I am an artist. Park Single.

Yes, Park Single the artist.

(Hyeona)

Who is it?

Telemarketer.

I'll get going.

What? Already?

My exam's coming up.

April 8.

Okay. When you get tired of studying,

come help me for a change of pace.

Okay.

(Hyeona)

What is it?

It's pumpkin porridge.

My mom made a lot, so I brought you some.

Have it at home.

- Your mother? / - Yes.

My mom's a very good cook.

You like the kimchi I gave you, right?

Yes, thank you. I'll be sure to enjoy this.

Aren't you going to the gym today?

No. I have to go home early for a special guest.

Oh. Your girlfriend's boyfriend?

Yes.

It almost feels like he's my son-in-law already

though their relationship isn't there yet.

I approved of him, so I decided to be positive.

Good thinking.

It's all thanks to you.

After what you said,

I pondered what would make my daughter happy,

and the answer came to me.

Thank you.

Oh, no. I forgot to get black peppers.

I'm such a scatterbrain.

Grandmother, your future grandson-in-law is here.

Oh, my. Welcome.

You're here early.

Mom's running late.

Okay. Are you going somewhere?

To get black peppers.

You should get Eunho to do it.

He's in a study room.

I'll go.

You don't know where to go.

It's right up front, so I'll go.

Keep Grandma company.

Okay.

Grandmother, would you like a shoulder rub?

You do give a good massage, Mr. Yoon.

Please just call me Suho.

Let's see.

Let's do it.

- Does it feel good? / - Yes, it does.

Phone is turned off...

Oh, come on. His phone's still off.

Who are you?

Ms. Oh Eunsu.

What are you doing here?

Oh. Do you live around here?

This is where I live.

Are you here to see Eunho?

You know Eunho?

Oh Eunsu, Oh Eunho...

That's right. Oh Eunho is my little brother.

Why didn't you tell me you're Eunho's sister?

Does that matter?

And I didn't know either until about a month ago.

How can you do this?

You should've let me know.

I see. So it was you who got between Eunho and me

so we'd break up.

I never did such a thing.

Wasn't it you who told him I was eyeing

another man?

Ms. Park, I'm sorry, but let me

speak as Eunho's sister for five minutes.

Park Hyeona, you shouldn't live like that.

E-Excuse me?

Do you think I enjoyed turning a blind eye

every time you made a move on Mr. Yoon Suho?

I wanted to tell Eunho but couldn't.

Do you know why?

Eunho had the utmost faith in you.

So how could I tell him?

Stop lying.

It wasn't Eunho. You were jealous of me.

Weren't you jealous because Mr. Yoon

and I were chummy?

I said I was interested in Mr. Yoon,

but you took him from me.

I did no such thing.

I saw you.

Park Hyeona, listen carefully.

Don't come back here

or call Eunho again.

If you show yourself to Eunho again,

you'll be very sorry.

Goodbye, Ms. Park.

Eunsu, what are you doing? Come on in.

Ms. Park?

What are you doing here?

Will you still deny what I said?

Um... It's a misunderstanding.

Since it's come to this, let's make it official.

Ms. Park. Ms. Oh and I are dating.

She's my girlfriend.

Oh, hi.

This is Eunsu's younger brother.

This is the assistant manager at Yoon Ga.

She's Eunsu's immediate boss.

Get on her good side.

Hello.

We were just telling her we were dating.

That's great.

My ex kept me from her office, saying no one

could know she was dating.

I'm going in.

Okay.

I'll get going too.

Goodbye.

Why was Ms. Park here?

Why'd you come out? Why?

Now everyone at work will know. What do we do?

So what? If they know, they know.

It's still a bit early.

Ask Ms. Park to keep it a secret. Please.

I don't want to.

Do it.

Come on in.

Darn it.

Where did you get this?

Oh. I bought it on the way home.

It's very good.

Where do they sell this?

I'll have the housekeeper get some tomorrow.

Um...

Nurse Seo got it, so I'm not sure.

I'll ask her tomorrow.

Okay.

No sugar's been added, but

it's sweet and delicious.

You said you had a cold. Are you better?

Yes. I feel better after taking that nap.

Although who knows?

I got you medicine, so take it in 30 minutes.

Yes, okay.

- Thank you. / - Sure.

Wow.

It's so good.

Slow down. What if you get indigestion?

I have a very good digestive system, Mother.

Give it up.

Grandmother made it for me, so you should

give it up, brother-in-law.

- Brother-in-law? / - Yes.

You called him brother-in-law, so it must be soon.

When are you marrying Eunsu?

- Grandma. / - Mom.

What's wrong?

Did I misspeak?

Grandma, later. It's still too soon.

Yes, Mom. It's too soon.

They just started dating.

I'm for it, Grandmother.

I'm against it.

Brother-in-law.

Not yet.

Brother-in-law.

No way!

I'm a year older, so show me

the respect I deserve.

Just eat.

Respect.

Just eat. Eat.

- Eat your fill. / - Yes, ma'am.

Try this too. Here.

- Thank you. / - Grandma, me too.

Yes, yes. Of course.

I should give my pumpkin some too.

She says her daughter's seeing someone.

Do you know who my friend's daughter is?

The Planning Team member who became a regular staffer

instead of Suho. What's her name?

Ms. Oh Eunsu.

Yes. Oh Eunsu.

She's my friend's daughter.

Isn't that something?

Yes.

Mother, how about sending Suho abroad to study?

Study abroad?

I stopped myself many times from asking you.

It's a shame to let his talent go to waste.

He is an exceptional taster

and he's done work to prep for a chef certificate,

so it's a shame for him to be a kitchen assistant.

That's true.

But he's working to be Beomgyu's successor.

That's why if he has an overseas degree,

there will be no controversy.

Controversy?

People who don't know like to spread rumors.

Company employees and others

are bound to criticize Suho, saying he only

got the restaurant because he's the son

of Yoon Ga Doenjang Stew's owner.

And that won't be fair to Suho.

People do get jealous of others' success.

That being the case,

I did some research today.

It's a prestigious French culinary institute.

5-star hotels drool over its graduates.

- Really? / - Yes.

But will Suho manage?

Of course.

Suho's tenacious when he sets his mind to it.

So he will be successful.

There are many star chefs on TV these days, right?

With Suho's good looks, he can be a star chef.

- A star chef? / - Yes.

I'm back.

Oh, hi. Have you had dinner?

I ate. I'm going upstairs.

Okay.

My goodness...

- Mother. / - Yes?

Yes, okay. Got it.

- Suho. / - Yes?

Take a look at this. Here.

What is it?

A culinary institute?

It's a very famous place in France.

Suho, why don't you study abroad?

Huh?

You can be a star chef with a degree from here.

Don't break your back making stews with Dad.

It'll be nice to live it up like those star chefs.

I'll help you however I can.

Bitna says she will too.

Mom, I can't go.

Oh, come on. Go.

I'll get Dad's permission for you.

It's not that...

Mom.

Yes?

It's in France.

Yes. France.

If you go, I can visit and see the Eiffel Tower.

Geez.

Mom, I don't speak a word of French.

That being the case, how can I learn to cook?

Don't they speak English there?

Is my English good?

No.

Okay. All set then.

I love Korea very much.

You should still think about it.

There's nothing to think about.

I'm not going. No, I can't go.

You whined when we wouldn't let you study abroad,

but you refuse to go now that I'm telling you to?

You're really weird.

- Hello. / - Hello.

I came for coffee.

I'll make it for you.

It's okay. I'm fine.

Ms. Oh Eunsu?

Yes?

Do you like Yoon Suho?

Yes.

You may think I'm overstepping,

but I'll just say this.

Did it ever occur to you you're ruining his future?

I know my brother well,

and he can be simple and reckless at times.

I hope you can be the voice of reason.

Goodbye then.

If Yeonmi's mother keeps coming here,

Yeonmi might think I intentionally deceived her.

I should just tell her the truth.

Mom.

Oh, hi. What brings you here?

I wanted to see you on my way home.

Are you busy?

No. Sit.

Should we go out for dinner?

I'm very hungry.

You are? Sure. Why not?

Let me tidy this up.

I'll do it.

You put your coat on.

I just have to bring this inside, right?

Yes.

Yeonmi.

Oh, hi.

Were you heading out?

If you don't plans, how about dinner?

Yes, but...

Mom, let's...

All these?

Don't you know people line up to eat here?

Is it that tough?

It's so tiring, my eyes are stinging,

and my hands are freezing.

Someone's coming to check later,

so do a good job.

Oh, my. This is killing me.

My, oh, my.

You said you'd take my friend out.

You'll be smitten with her.

You'll be fine without me, right?

What do you mean?

Wenjack by Joseph Boyden. - Duration: 3:28.

hey guys so I just wanted to make a quick video

uh...a couple weeks ago I read "Wenjack" by Joseph Boyden

this is the only Joseph Boyden novel I have ever bought. it's the only Joseph Boyden novel I have ever read

and it will be the only one that I ever buy or read

um

it doesn't really matter if I liked the book or not

it doesn't really matter what the book is about

or anything

there's a lot of problematic people that I still like

there's a lot of problematic artists where it's like okay I hate you as a person

but lowkey I like a lot of your songs and, you know, I'm not going to delete them off my iPod

movies, books, tv shows,

you know sometimes there can be a problematic actor on the show or something

i don't know I guess my thing is everyone is problematic

and everyone - you know - nobody's perfect

and people are always going to say something kind of wrong or do something wrong

like fuck, FucK, if I,

lord knows I'm not perfect

but there definitely is a line for me and,

there is a point where I do stop supporting artists

because of how they are in their personal life

and I just really really really really can't get behind things that they've said

and I just absolutely don't want to be associated with them

and I'm really embarrassed to admit that it's only very recently that it's come to my attention

all of the things surrounding this author

I'm going to have some stuff linked down below, there are some videos, some articles

there are some things you might be interested in looking at

all of them are - most of them are about him

some of them are about other Canadian authors doing some problematic things as of late

but see the thing is, is I don't even want to donate this book

or - because I don't want anyone to read him

I don't want to support him in any way, because what if I donate this a someone reads it

and then really likes it and then goes and buys his other books

you know? so I kind of just don't...

I just don't want to support him, I don't want to put his name out there

I know that's what I'm doing with this video but after this video, I don't want to talk about him

I don't want to support him at all, I don't want to encourage people to check out his books

um, so this might be really dramatic

but this is what I'm going to do

I don't know if I'm strong enough

*rips book in half and sighs*

there we fucking go

N. Korea calls death of Kim Jong-nam 'conspiracy scheme' - Duration: 0:54.

And while more evidence mounts to North Korea being behind the apparent murder of Kim Jong-nam,...

Pyongyang has labeled it a conspiracy against the regime... and claims... the incident was

the "death of a citizen holding a diplomatic passport."

The comments, made on the state-run Korean Central News Agency on Thursday, break North

Korea's nearly two weeks of silence since the incident took place.

The statement went on to say... that an autopsy is unncessary as the North Korean embassy

in Kuala Lumpur concluded the cause of death was a heart attack.

It also slammed the Malaysian authorities for pushing ahead with an autopsy,... saying

it's clearly violating North Korea's sovereignty... and is a brutal violation against humanity.

North Korea also claimed...

South Korea was behind the incident.

The statement, however, did not mention Kim Jong-nam's name, not even once.

Brakes - Common issues, the inspection process and replacement costs - Duration: 3:13.

Today we're talking about brakes; common issues, the inspection process and average cost repairs

or replacement.

The braking system is one of the most critical safety systems on your vehicle, and if left

unchecked can cause expensive damage and put you, your family and other motorists at risk.

You may need your brakes replaced if you hear any of the following symptoms: spongy brake

pedal, squealing, squeaking or grinding noise when slowing down, pedal travelling to the

floor when applying pressure, shuddering when slowing down, felt through steering wheel

or body, brake warning light on dash.

Contaminated brake fluid is one of the most common issues with your vehicle braking system.

It can cause a spongy or soft feeling brake pedal.

The brake fluid is a silicon based fluid, which absorbs moisture over time.

And if not replaced at correct intervals can cause a soft or spongy feeling brake pedal

and more effort required to slow the vehicle down.

Manufacturers recommend brake fluid replacement every two years, but depending on driving

conditions, it may need to be replaced more often.

If you haven't had it replaced recently, check with your mechanic to see if your brake fluid

needs replacing at your next scheduled service.

The brake pads and disc rotors are considered as wear and tear items and need to be replaced

when the friction material on the brake pad has worn down.

Depending on the type of wear, the brake disc may need to be replaced as well.

If you hear a grinding noise when slowing down, have your brakes inspected immediately.

If you hear a squealing noise from your vehicle, especially when slowing down, it may mean

that your brakes need to be inspected.

Most manufacturers fit a wear indicator on the back of the brake pad, and when they're

worn out it touches on the brake rotor, which gives an audible squealing noise to let you

know your brakes need attention.

A squealing noise could also indicate that there is a bit of road debris or rock stuck

in your brakes.

Warped brake rotors can cause a shudder when slowing down, which can usually be felt through

the steering wheel, the brake pedal or the body of the vehicle.

Unevenly worn brake pads or brake rotors that have suffered from continuous heavy braking

can weaken and warp, which causes this shudder.

A brake inspection includes checking the braking system, the brake fluid for contamination,

inspection of the brake lines, and removing the wheels to measure the thickness of the

brake pads, rotors or shoes.

If replacement is required, the mechanic will remove the worn or leaking brake components,

and supply high quality replacement parts.

The brake fluid will be flushed and replaced and the components will be correctly 'bedded

in' to ensure proper operation.

Brake prices vary between makes and models.

The average price for a small vehicle with brake pad and rotor replacement starts at

about three hundred and fifty dollars, and can go up to six hundred dollars plus, depending

on what needs to be replaced.

If you own a luxury, a high end or a high performance vehicle with larger brakes, this

can start at around six hundred dollars and increase to a thousand dollars plus.

It's best to have a fully qualified mechanic carry out any inspections, repairs or replacement

on your vehicle's braking system.
