Just decided to make a new series

of cartoon drawing

for today i decided to draw Frida Kahlo

if you don't know who is Frida

just keep n watchin

She is a famous artist

Kahlo's life began and ended in Mexico City

she was born July 6, 1907

When Kahlo was six years old, she contracted polio..

which made her right leg shorter and thinner than the left

the experience made her introverted

on September 17, 1925

she had an accident

she sent a year on the bed

the accident caused her pain and illness for the rest of her life

She started to consider a career as an illustrator

so she could paint herself

Painting became a way for Kahlo to explore

questions of identity and existence

she began to paint things just as she saw them with her own eyes and nothing more.

were portraits of herself

Most of the paintings Kahlo made during this time

example of her painting

before her death

she wrote

"I joyfully await the exit and I hope never to return - Frida"

The official cause of death was pulmonary embolism

but they said that Kahlo had taken an overdose the night she died

because of her pain

she influenced many artists

and also realism art

but

some Critics said that her art was just

surrealist art

You can feel the pain n the strong

personality in her dart

she is characterized

with his sick eyebrows shape

they made her life

as a movie

and that's all i know about

Frida

and just wanted to tell you about it

so keep n watchin how i draw her

finished ^^

hope you like it

let me reach 20 thumbs up!

and suggest me the next

Where do you get your cholesterol? - Duration: 1:41.

Vegans where do you get your LDL cholesterol from?

If you want to be healthy and strong, it is important to get your daily dose of cholesterol

and follow an omnivorous diet.

Great sources of cholesterol are pigs, cows, goats and chickens.

Firstly, you have to capture and imprison them.

Then, you must torture and murder them with the worst way.

You can kill them humanely, too.

Don't worry, you will still get your cholesterol.

Eating eggs is another way to get your cholesterol.

In order to achieve this, you must capture some hens and torture them, so that they can

lay more and more eggs.

You can have a great time by eating their unfertilized ovums.

Good appetite.

Finally, you can get your cholesterol from milk, cheese, yogurts and generally dairy

products.

But be careful!

These products must come from another species, like cows.

You must capture a cow, imprison her, rape her, wait 9 months to give birth to her child,

steal her child and murder it.

Milk the mum until she dies and then you can enjoy your cholesterol.

LDL cholesterol can help you have atherosclerosis, heart attacks, strokes and many other problems.

Don't forget to get your daily dose!

ที่สุดแห่งปี Item Make up 2016 | Erk-Erk - Duration: 27:05.

Hi

Today I'm gonna show you the best of make ups last year,

that is 2016

for more makeups review

before you watch, first you must Subscribe

so you never going to miss it this year

for the coming up year 2017, we've plan

to show you my favorite makeups every month. Let's start with this brush

and this brush is my favorite

It from "ZOEVA Makeup"

Mostly it's come in a bag ZOEVA it's so good

There are many sizes for the eyes

It's easy. great for newbies

It's can spread out the makeups so smoothly

It's make putting on makeups for people like..

let's say not that good at it

to just try it, and then be like Wow, that looks good

and it so easy to use also it comes in golden colour

I like golden colour

I heard that the brush

If I remember correctly comes from from Germany

It's a luxury brand

and this is good for eye makeups

Try it

next it's like a contour makeup brush

it's a brush No.53 it's from "Sephora"

and it has a good price you can get it at Sephora

Why is it good? It's a brush specially for contour

This is what it looks like, so

when you do to the cheek or the nose, it will create illusion

It comes in perfect size for highlighting and contouring

another brand that I like, it has soft brush

and another one

From Lauress which is a imported brand

This kind of brush are called "Kabuki"

So what does the kabuki do?

As you can see it could be used for put a foundation on face

It also could be used for highlighting and many more

but Erk uses it for spreading out the make up

or to lighten and smoothen the powder

Next

Is gonna be.. The Makeup Sponge Applicator

There're big one and small one but we don't usually use those small one

Those small one are kind a just gimmick for marketing

These small one are light and I think these small one

Help when you applying concealer tight space under the eye

And easier to apply makeups foundation

Is it good? Yes but it smalls

Erk think it has high chances to get lost

This is from BeautyBlender

You will find Beauty blender at "Sephora"

Quite expensive, around thousand baht each

The main reason I like it is.. It egg shape

It handle great in my hand

It fit the palm here so perfect

But some people might find it better with thin shape one

But I felts like this one has a nice grip

When you use it

It helps apply makeups foundation smoothly

But does it has any cons?

It's the germs

When we use it several times

And we don't clean it

It could gives you Acnes

So you should alway keep it cleaned

This is another one that it like

Next..

Is about apply foundation

First I have to say that I have dry skin

So those who have oily face, You can just ignore it

Because you can't use it like me

I have dry skin, So

I need to apply moisturizer

To keep it moisturize

it help with anti-aging

That's the reason Erk...

Chose to used mainly cushion type foundation

MINERAL foundation

Here's the first one

We'll be showing you.. Revlon photo airbrush effect makeup

Why do I like it? Actually..

There are just so many colour for you to choose

And it has a colour the go well with my skin and I could used it for shading my makeup

And It looks great on the picture too

Another thing is it stays on all day

Erk felt that it able to controlled the level of moisturization well

But not as much as the one with the black lit

It another model that I would recommend to people with dry skin.

And it's very cheap, no more than five hundred baht.

the Revlon airbrush

Next gonna be cushion type kind

Many people want to know. Which are the brands I love

It is the History of Whoo

Many of you might not be familiar with the packaging

Because it a limited edition

Which they design specifically for each season

All are different

Exhibit A, Some are silver some are gold

Why do I love this brand?

Many of you may know the story

But the main point is that all the ingredient in their products

Are all herps at the History of Whoo

Give you the wet-looks

If you don't wet-looks, You must skip this brand

Next cushion type brand is

The Sulwhasoo

The perfecting cushion for Sulwhasoo

Because it also helps keep you skin soft and bright

It not as moisturize as the one from History of Whoo

If you think it too much with the HoW

Next brand is "Mille" it a new brand

And what made Erk like about the Mille is..

It's Whitening Oil control

I think it the only brand that has it

Can't find it anywhere else

It just one model oil control

I use light no.21 and no.22

Kinda like shading

It might be too white

you might wanna apply sunscreens

So it matches better

I'm telling you this one..

gave my face a semi wet-looks

It make the skin

look healthier but not as moisturize as the wet-looks

Sixty percent less moisturize but for me it felt like seventy

So when you want more of a formal looks ...

Because of that I been using it a lot lately

To met friends, went to classes

And the last cushion brand that I just found out about

It's Seine Hill it's a brighten cushion

Uses to get brighter skin

Regular SPF level

I'm not too worry about SPF

Because I'm gonna be applying sunscreen anyway

But why do I like it? I felt that

During the day it just keep having more and more "aura"

It doesn't stained but it not stayed on that long

I like it because it brightening ability

I think I will keep using it

Now the Eye-brows

For the Eyebrow , I like 2 brands

The First one in my heart is

The Cathy Doll Slim Line Eyebrow

For this brand I want to telling you

It's cheap

And it's exported to many countries

Another great brand

I like it because it has a slim line

It great for beginners

It so smooths colour

Give you a natural looks

You could made a slim line first

Then if you want to make it thicker

You could just do that

It perfect for beginners

This Slim line is the number one in my heart, My favorite

And the second one is

The Makeup for Ever

This one I like it a lot too

For the Makeup For Ever, It gives natural looks

Which is great but the price is much more expensive than Cathy doll

This one cost about a thousand baht, It speciality is

Beside from it regular eyebrow brush

Or just brushing eyebrow

There is also this thing

Which I think it greats when you made a mess

It a powder you just apply it

Not gonna gives acnes

Apply on the mess you want the rid off

Give it more contrast

Now the concealers

My favorite Concealer is

From this year there is only one

The Gino Mccray

Gino Mccray is a new concealer comes in pen shape, density of the cream made it so easy to use

Why does it good? Because I have dry skin

I like it because it cheap

And easy to use

Apply it on the cheeks, below the eyes

It covered great for me

cause concealer has more density

Does it necessarily? Well..

Yes if you alway went to bed late

Because our skin won't alway be perfect

It really depend on how you took care of yourself

That's it, it covers all.

Next is the Eye palettes

This is the first and NO.1

For Everyday looks

For every skin tone. It's BobbiBrown

Bobbi Brown weird eye palette

It colour tones are all kind of brown

Suitable for all skin tones

Fancy palette

It's gold here and leather here, so cool

Bobbi Brown here at first it looks

Like it gonna be too fancy looks

If you never tried it

But if you try it

It covers so much

Gives good layer

Even it basic colour

That you might use..this cream colour, matte brown or with the eyebrow

Use it however! And here..

This is powder for your eyebrow

And the darker tone shimmer

This Palette, I just wanna say that

I want everybody to try it

It really great

I never like any palette as I like this one

It is really great and so easy to uses

Now the No.2

Also Everyday looks

The Zoeva cocoa blend

It kinda similar with Naked Palette

Erk don't like using stuff that most people use

I want something different

With this I could get a darker red tone

All in brown tone

It gives luxury looks and easy to uses

This brand have more colours than the Bobbi Brown

Many colours start from light low-base colours

You could highlight on the eye conner

Both matte and shimmer

But not so many shimmers

Also you could do the smokey eye

This palette it has darker colour could uses to powder your eyebrow

Can be use for many things

It's the no.2 palette for this year

Here The only Glitter palette this year

The Physicians Formula model Disco

Mainly it could all be tell by the packaging

It's so fancy

And I love how light it is

It also has brown tone but except this one purple

It's a darker tone of brown

3 tones in one palette

brown , orange, purple. Let me show you

Is this nothing compare to the another one

It's so fancy. It so fancy it has glitters

Which is perfect if you want fancy

This will make your eye pop

It's actually a great palette

It's light and portable

Lastly for palette

This last one

Is a bit more fancy

It has many colours The Urban Decay vice LTD reloaded

All the most popular colour in here, costs about two thousand baht

All the popular colour in the past

Has it in both first and second model too

Here is the limited edition, it's really is fancy

It's has little bit of purple in it

Some are gold which is awesome

Also the gold one are so easy to used

Look at the pink one, look how little I used. It's great!

This one palette is enough for us girls to go around the world

For those how want to change your makeup tone

There has many shade we could play with

And there are great too

Let's try

Now let's see how to make the eye pop

Don't ever forget these items

mascara , fake Eyelash, Eyelash Adhesive

All those things about our Eyelash

Mascara that stay on

Look at mine, this is from this morning now it's noon

It stills good

First item I would like to show you guys

Is the mascara, Eyeko sport waterproof mascara

Beside from making it longer

I felt like the waterpoof on this one is better than other brands

Dry quick

It helps reduce the chance to get hollow eyes too

Maybe hundred percent for Eyeko

I have another item I used together with it

I recommend it for every woman out there

For those who having problem with hollow eyes

It been falling off during the day

The Avance Brow Protect N

It could be used for many things

I used it for couple thing

I don't use it for eyebrow but to do my eyelash

Because when you used it

Make your eyelash stays all day

I really recommend these I alway gonna using it

This is the first one this year

And next

Must talk about the Fake eyelash right?

Now before we go there

I should first recommend the Eyelash Adhesive

Here's from a brand D U P it's might pronouns De-up Dup doob

I don't really know

But D.U.P

It original packages are blue

So don't worry when you see it on the "insert"

This one is a limited edition

But the kitty face has gone now

Its Kitty another great brand

I used it today too it's staying on

Even Though it say on it not that hard to take it off at all

Another item I highly recommend

For this brand fake eyelash

Now the fake eyelash of the year

My favorite

It's Supermum zetar eyelashes

It's hundred percents Phylum Chordata fur

Why it great?

It's give nice layer like this

It's not just one line of fur, it has one, two, three of them

Just like when we put on the volume

It more natural

This is the review of Powder Translucent

What it called? It the powder that helps control moisturization

After apply foundation

So our face won't get too oily from creamy foundation

I have two favorite brand this year

no.1 that I have been really happy with

The Make Up Store

It a smoothing primer

It has advantages. It could be used before and after doing makeup

Use for primer before and then

After that you use it to keep the makeup stay longer

How does it do in oil controlling?

It's fine but not that great

But it feels

Smoothen in the skin

Another brand I like Makeup Store

And the second brand I like for Powder Translucent

Is the Cover Mask loose powder translucent

Cover Mask translucent comes with..

Those I got was cream makeup foundation

Another great brand if your want your makeup too stay all day

Must try it

For the cheek, this year..

Nothing special

Nothing has made me happy about the result yet

But this brush-on it kinda creamy

I recommend it, It's Bobbi Brown

Powder pink colour is the best

But it depends on you skin tone too

The regular one is bigger than this

I got two

This is a mini size one

Can be use on cheek and lips, I usually use it on my lips

Do you see the colour?

It's great huh?

The colours look better when you try it on

When it on your skin

You can feel it has natural looks

Make it easier to match

This year I give it to this one

Because the colours

are similar with my skin tone

When I want to put on Red, it not gonna be too much.

That's Not my style

This is my style

Oh, I forgot

There are two brand I like for Liner

Pen liner

This year the one and only "Ter"

This is what it looks like "Ter" T - er

It's Thai brand

Most of their products are water proof

All the makeups

But I like the pen eye liner

Its tip is slim so it easier to do and it also stayed on made me really happy

Another brand has pencil

The Hourglass - h o u r g l a s s Hourglass

Pros is it small cons is it easy to break but won't make a mess

It's just don't make any mess and really easy to use

Here's Hourglass

A little expensive but it's okay

I like to do the "inner " with it

And when you want to put it away

It just doesn't want to get in you have to put a lot of work into it

Should I keep using it?

It's nice. But no

I just wanna say

Hourglass

You should fix this product's problem

I like yours it's was great

Keep it clean under my eyes

When you fixed it, tell me!

Alright

Let's talk about Highlight and Shading

We gonna start with the highlight

My favorite this year

Is a palette from Becca

The best of highlighting

The colours look great. Suitable to every skin tone

I like it simply because it pretty

Mix and match with my skin perfectly

Brush-on colour tone are kinda orange. This is Becca

Jaclyn Hill special edition. There are many of those

And just look at it, it looks great.

It's has Becca style

Which gives dimension

Not for light makeup tone

Because it's quite obvious

This is shading and a one more brush-on

Here's brush-on highlight

And there are two highlights

Which is new but the other one is not

You should try these

This is another palette that I like

Costed about two thousand baht at Sephora back then

Next is great it 2 in 1

It from Hourglass

What I got is Ambient lighting edit surreal light palette

It's long It has five ambient

What does it has? It has highlight that you could use for your entire face

A little shimmer shines

Felt like you have aura putting it on

And darker tone brush-on

It one is orange mix with pink and it a brush-on

So it create perfect dimension

And this helps our face

Looks Slimmer

Contouring it make the area look slimmer

And then the highlights

I feel like it a bit much

Hourglass is kinda classy smooth looks

If you don't like to wear makeup that much or obvious

You will love this palette

For the last palette

Too Faced

But I might want to buy a new one

Cause haven't use it for so long it might be expired

It's really good

It pros are that you could apply it when your face still wet

It still blends great

Also great when it dry

And it perfect for my skin

It highlight is not too much too

It just right, for me anyway

Haven't been using those two

I use this mainly for shading

In Conclusion why do I like this brand

There are two reasons

That is a multifunction designed brush

It length are just right

Smooth

Works great on the nose

Soften and slimmed our faces

Other is the shading

Or even the highlight it self

The colour is not too much

Some beginner uses it too much of highlight

The colour will be slowly apply and it easy to use

Another one I like is Too Faced contour

The last one that many people wanted to know

I was asked what lipstick I have been using

This year it mostly matte lipstick because it dry

And won't make any mass

I recommending the one I like

And go well with lipstick

First is Maybelline

I like all colours. it have three head like this

It been though a lot Let's me try it on

We'll let do the light colour afterward but might not be able to see it

It will gives this small shiny looks

Another brand I like this year

Erk uses every colour here

Now the addition it's also great

And it stay on all day

Also from Maybelline

Tint model look kinda like this

Here is what it's like

Not too much colour

Apply it couple times

It pros is when you having a meal or drink it stay on

when you having a meal or drink it will stay on

Another brand I'd like to recommend

More natural looks than any other brands

Because it's an addition

Must apply it couple times

Next model, this one been through a lot it's L'oréal Paris L'Extraordinaire matte

How does it good?

It's matte but keeps your lip moisturize

Covered all the area

These two I been using it a lot

One is nude tone

I'm not sure how many colour they have

One nude tone and the other bright tone

Here is for nude tone

I like it

It's not expensive but it sure look like one

See? Covered all this is why I like matte

But do you see? It doesn't make your lips dry

Still keeps moisturize

You could use the napkins to help

Or Korean-looks

Use the darker colour same model

When you putting on your lipstick especially those who has clear bracelet

Use your finger, like many of you already knew

More tips for you, try this

Wait for it to dry

Might take time

It ain't that matter at all

Now the two brands that are really matte

My favorite from 2016

They are both winner

They are both great

The Golden rose

Which is real nice cost about two hundred baht

You could find it online or there should have it at Eve and Boy

Another one is Note got this for long time

most colour here are great actually all of the colour are great

It's just have to matches our skin

Golden Rose has kina round packaging

Also portable

These matte stays on!

I'll try each on upper and lower lips

Golden rose … Let's see

You see? Here's Golden rose

Here's Note. Let's me show you

Should able to find it online

But between the two

Note dried quicker so it the no.1 in my heart

They are both matte

See that? That upper lip colour is drier than the lower lip's

Those are all the lipstick brands I like this year

Two more to go

I would like to recommend an addition

When I do face painted I used this Makeup for Ever

I use it for long a time but it so expensive

We should have it in Thailand, but there might be a cheaper brand

It might be four hundred baht in Thailand

I'm not so sure about the quality

Makeup For Ever I used it with my eye my cheek something like that

But watch out too much could gives you acnes

It's great when you mix with a colour making new colour

This is for those who wanted something more advance

But these ain't waterproof

Meaning if you touch it

It will make a mess, when I doing these thing with palette

You might need to use some powder to absorb the exceeded moisturize

It's help makeup stay longer

And the last item I would love to recommend

Cleansing sheet from PureViVi

A little expensive about 390 baht

50 sheets

How much per sheet? Do the math!

It's also rare

At Boots, Watson don't have them sometime

Also another brand that great with sensitive skin

Even when you put on so many makeup this thing still work great

When we're in a hurry

This is perfect

I used it for the whole body, is that bad?

When going somewhere and feeling dirty you could use these

Use it for many things

And.. those are

The best of 2016 for me, Erk

I hope it will become your favorite too

Or if anyone have anything to share

Please tell us comment below here

I'll be reading all of it

in case you have something great you could tell me

And I could try it too

Just hope everybody like it

This be not be the last episode

Putin Explains Why Ukraine Has Aggravated the Situation in Donbass - Duration: 2:19.

Why does another flare-up of hostilities in Donbass happen now?

With Ukraine being both Russia's and Hungary's neighbour, Putin and Orban

just couldn't help but cover this issue at the joint news conference.

The first reason is that the Ukrainian leadership needs money,

and the best way to drum up some money is to go

to the European Union, individual countries of Europe

the United States, or international financial institutions,

posing as a victim of aggression.

Second, as we all know, during the presidential campaign in the United States,

the incumbent Ukrainian government adopted

a unilateral position in favour of one candidate.

Moreover, certain oligarchs, certainly with the approval of the political leadership

funded this candidate, or the female candidate, to be more precise.

Now they need to improve relations with the current administration

and using a conflict to do so is always a better,

easier way to draw the incumbent administration into addressing

Ukrainian problems and thus establish a dialogue.

The third reason is related to domestic politics.

In the wake of utter failure of economic and social policies,

the internal opposition has stepped up its activities and needs to be shut up.

It is also necessary to rally the people around the current leaders.

This issue can also be resolved more easily if the conflict resumes.

There is another consideration.

I think that the current Ukrainian government

is not at all willing to implement the Minsk agreements and...

is just looking for an excuse not to do so.

The resumption of the conflict would serve that purpose.

I very much hope that sensible people in Ukraine, as well as

those who are interested in resolving such issues through political means,

will not allow the situation

in southeastern Ukraine to follow the worst-case scenario,

but will rather concentrate all their attention and efforts

on complying with the Minsk agreements.

Verification of Newton's Second law - OLabs - Duration: 1:15.

Verification of Newton's Second law Arrange a cart on a table with blockade and

a pulley.

Tie the cart with a piece of twine.

The mass of the cart is 500 g.

The twine on the cart is passed over the pulley to a weight hanger.

A weight of 50 g is hung on the weight hanger.

As soon as the weight is released, the cart starts moving and is stopped by the blockade.

Note the distance moved by the cart and the time taken to travel the distance.

Calculate the acceleration of the object.

Calculate M2g and (M1+M2)a.

It is found to be same.

Hence, Newton's Second Law is verified.

As I'm the head of the house, I expect them to obey these rules,

whether we are right or not.

..rigid boundaries...

Say sorry. You will not do again.

My father controls my life every day.

Are we going to see some progress in five minutes?

..and immediate consequences.

LIDS BANG Stop!

But can traditional parenting change the lives of rebellious British teenagers?

- SIREN WAILS - Come and get me. I'm drinking under age.

I took LSD, cocaine, ecstasy, weed,

MDMA, ketamine...

When you're 17, you definitely need to go out. You need to party,

because before you know it you'll be, like, "That's it, game over."

I'm not coming back today, by the way. See you in 20 years!

She's so incredibly rude. She's just a cow, really.

- Do not swear at me. - Dad, just be quiet!

I don't really care what people think about me. Rules are made for breaking.

To find out, two teens who've never met before will leave their fraught families behind...

Come on, give us a hug. Come on!

Behave yourself, Shola. I'm not joking - behave.

..and head off to the far corners of the world,

where they will live according to strict rules imposed by new parents.

THEY SCREAM

HE BELCHES

- Do you want a punch? - No. - Do you want a punch? - No. Gosh!

Get off me! Get off.

Do me a favour and for once put some effort into your life.

- SHE YELLS - Go out! Just go out.

- The world does not revolve around you. - That's why I'm trying to walk away, and she's following me.

They can't programme me.

If all the British teenagers were like them...

no good.

DANCE MUSIC PLAYS

TEENAGERS SCREAM

I don't even know who's here.

17-year-old Hannah Button's out of control.

- Where's your mum? - At work. She gets back at four.

While her mum's out working a night shift, Hannah and her friends

use the house to party all night.

The most drunk I've ever been is when I filled up a whole bath of sick.

Whitey!

When I'm drunk, I can end up doing stuff with boys. Not just boys, it can be girls as well.

Party! Party!

I don't want my house to be known as a doss house for all the teenagers in the town.

She doesn't respect my home at all. It doesn't bother her what happens in here.

The party's so loud one of the neighbours has called Hannah's mum at work.

Shut up!

Everybody sit down and shut up! This is my house.

Who's smoking in here?

I've been called home by the neighbours.

- I went round... - Again.

- OK, my bad. - No, it's not your bad, Hannah, it's not funny.

- I don't know half of these people. - I know all of them.

Well, I don't care.

I really don't care. I've been called out of work again.

- We're going to be inside now. - No. Out!

- No. - Out! - No. - Out. - No.

Despite getting 12 GCSEs, Hannah left school at 16

and now spends all her time partying.

Mum Suzanne's had enough.

We argue more than anything else. We very rarely actually talk.

Me and Mum have, like, ended up fighting and stuff.

I've given her a black eye before.

Suzanne fell pregnant with Hannah when she was 16.

As a little girl, Hannah was lovely. We always used to have laughs

and we just haven't had that for the last few years. It's just, sort of, disappeared.

Hannah had no contact with her dad until three years ago, when he turned up on her 14th birthday.

The relationship's faded away.

He used to come and see her every week - sort of once, twice a week - and then it sort of got to,

"Oh, I can't come tonight."

I think that's when she started losing her respect for adults, sort of thing,

and sort of went off the rails.

- Mum. Can you go to Tesco's, please? - For what? - Alcohol!

You're supposed to be tidying your room.

You're supposed to be going to Tesco's.

I just want her to realise that she can't live her life

having somebody follow her around and pick up the pieces all the time.

KNOCK AT DOOR

Ritchie, come on. Up you get.

Oh, my God. Leave me alone. Go away.

- Ritchie, please. - No. Go away.

Angry 17-year-old Ritchie Reddey doesn't listen to a word his dad says.

- I basically think my dad's a BLEEP. - HE CHUCKLES

- Come on, Ritchie, come on. This room stinks. - Yeah, cool.

We know it does. Smells like somebody's died in here.

I wanted to get my ears pierced and then my dad was, like, "No."

So I was, like, "I'm going to get a big hole in it."

That's Daddy's wee man. That's the picture I have in my heart.

The contrast between

this and now is shocking.

Ritchie's marked himself for life with that ear.

And it's not only his ear that Ritchie's marked for life.

I drew the knob design onto my leg

and then he just went over it with the gun.

He'll try anything. Drink the most or smoke the most or do the silliest thing, you know?

It's like he doesn't really care about himself.

Ritchie left school with no qualifications and a bad school record.

Detention, detention.

Detention.

"Argumentative, confrontational."

Er..."Lazy."

That's my son. That's MY son.

You know, that's not the... That's not the son anybody really wants.

They may be in the same house,

but with dad Steve working long hours as a lorry driver

they live more like strangers.

- Ritchie. - Yes?

Washing machine first, and then you can do whatever you like.

I hate it. I hate living with my dad. We haven't really spent any good times together.

Well, not that I can remember, anyway.

When Ritchie was just three years old,

Steve walked out on him and his mum.

Of course I blame myself. I cleared off, I was selfish.

The damage it's caused - some of that damage has rubbed off on Ritchie.

Ritchie's mum couldn't cope on her own,

so, aged 11, Ritchie went back to live with his dad.

But the relationship's never recovered.

I want to go back to the start.

I want to go back to the beginning and make it better.

If I had one prayer for one, I would love to...

I want to turn it all around for Ritchie and I.

In a desperate bid to salvage their home lives,

Ritchie and Hannah are being sent to live with strict parents,

under a new regime.

And it can't come too soon for Hannah,

as things at home have taken a turn for the worse.

My mum didn't want to come, cos she kicked me out of the house two days ago.

I went to work with a hangover the other day, so I lost my job...

- SHE CHUCKLES - ..and so she didn't want me at home.

- OK then, son. - Can I have 20 quid, please?

- There you go. - Thank you! Bye.

Don't go spending it on anything you shouldn't be, right?

- Fags, booze and weed. - RITCHIE CHEERS

- Hiya, you all right? - Hello, yeah, not bad, thank you. Let's roll.

- I'm BLEEP bricks. - Yeah!

The teens are travelling to Silifke,

a small town on Turkey's stunning south coast.

It may be a popular holiday destination,

but Hannah and Ritchie won't be hitting the beach.

They'll be living with the Vural family,

headed by schoolteachers Ali and Canan.

The couple have two children -

15-year-old Erdem and nine-year-old Goksu.

In Ali and Canan's household, it's clear who rules the roost...

As I am the head of the house,

I expect them to obey these rules

whether we are right or not.

Ali controls everything about his kids, including their diet.

If I won't eat olive,

I think my dad, er, gets angry with me.

The couple moved from the bustle of Istanbul

to small-town life 12 years ago, to devote more time to their family.

There's a hair here.

My father controls my life every day.

Even nine-year-old Goksu has to pull her weight.

'They change our plates. They give us tea and they are always around us.'

Thank you very much.

If I don't do what my father tells me,

my father punishes me.

I must be strict to my children for their future.

After travelling over 2,000 miles, Hannah and Ritchie touch down in Turkey.

Hmm...

- What? - No!

I'm really confused and quite scared!

Oh, look! That sea looks so nice, as well.

I want it to be a holiday...

- but I don't think it will. - I don't think it's going to be anything like a holiday.

I think it's going to be, like, a slave labour camp.

They're coming. Oh.

Really?

HE CHUCKLES

Oh, no!

- Hello. - Hey.

Welcome.

- This is my wife Canan. - My name is Canan, hello. - Hello, I'm Ritchie.

- Did you have a nice flight? - No. - No? - No, it was horrible.

Shall we go upstairs?

- Yeah, let's go. - All right.

HE SPEAKS TURKISH

Hey.

For the next seven days, the teens will be living

as part of the Vural family, in their three-bedroom apartment.

- You will stay in this room. - OK.

- Hannah. - Yeah? - This is your room - you will stay here. - OK.

This is the first time I am seeing that stupid-looking earring.

I-I-It looks terrible.

I mean, I didn't like that. So I should...

warn the boy to take it off.

- Hannah, Ritchie. - Yeah?

- Shall we go to the living room? - Yeah.

Before the teens settle in, Ali and Canan want to make a few things clear.

Right. HE SIGHS

- Ritchie, do you smoke? - No. - Good. Very good.

- Hannah, what about you? - No, I don't smoke. - Very good.

I'm really happy. Nobody smokes in this house.

Respect is really essential in our society.

No shouting, no swearing, no going out on your own without permission.

We must see the respect from you.

Ritchie, you look a good guy but there is only one problem -

earring.

It's not coming out.

Your appearance is really bad at the moment.

You had better take it off, because you're living under my rule.

Not happening. It's not coming out. Sorry.

SHE GIGGLES Can I have a look at the earring?

- Is it an earring? - Yeah. - God.

It looks more terrible like that.

- CANAN: - Terrible.

- It's terrible. - It's terrible.

Why did you decide to do this?

Dunno. Just cos I was bored.

- Just because you are bored? - Yeah. - Very good, I got the answer.

Can I just have it now?

Just for a while, stay like that. OK?

I think it's ridiculous that you won't let me keep it in, to be fair.

Shut the door please, blood.

See you in a minute.

What a wanker.

- Good, isn't he? - SHE CHUCKLES

I kind of figured something like that'd happen,

so I brought a spare just in case.

He looks so strange without this.

And with this.

Canan was affected badly - she can't stand it.

it's terrible.

I just pity him and I think we will give it back.

I'm going to BLEEP roll a fag, as well.

"Do you smoke?" "No!"

- "Do you drink?" "Nah!" - I was laughing through the whole thing.

I didn't tell him I smoke cos it'd be easier cos he'd have took my fags off me,

so I'm just going to try and hide it for a week.

- I am going out. - Shall we ask?

(Let's just go.)

They've been in Ali's house just two hours,

and Ritchie's already throwing the new rules out the window.

(No come on, come on, come on, grab your shoes.)

- No, it'll look rude. - What?

- In a bit! - Go on, then.

She's up there, like, "Oh, I feel rude!"

I was just, like, "In a bit, then."

- Where is Ritchie? - I...don't know.

Don't know? OK.

I'm going to go play in the park. I don't care.

HE CHUCKLES

He went out?

Huh? OK.

- Ritchie. - Yeah?

Come.

- How old are you? - 17.

Good, very good. But you're just behaving as if you are ten.

Can you give me that packet, please? Cigarette packet.

No, I'm not giving my fags. Don't go through my pockets.

- Don't go through my pockets. - Yeah, OK, but... - Yeah, but don't go through my pockets.

- You're smelling of cigarette. - Yeah. Don't go through my pockets.

- You just told me you never smoked. - Cos I knew you were going to take my fags off me.

You're not having my fags.

Ritchie, what's that?

- What's what? - This one.

What? Don't go through my pockets. Don't go through my pockets. I swear down, don't...

- Don't go through my pockets. - Can you give it to me?

Get off me. No, don't go through my pockets.

Get off. Oh, don't! Get off. Get off.

- Listen. - Nah, get off me.

- Ritchie. - Don't even talk to me. - Ritchie, Ritchie. - Get off me.

You are in my house.

- Yeah, then I'll go. - You want to go? - Yeah. - Please go.

All right, safe. Get the BLEEP off me, then!

Get off. Let go of me.

- Listen, listen, listen. - What? - Knowing everything...

- Yeah, cool, get off. - Accepting... Listen, listen. Knowing everything, accepting everything, you are here.

- Yeah, get off me. - You know what I mean? - Yeah. D'you want to get off me now?

Just sit here for a while.

No I'm going. You said, "Go," so I'm going. I'm not putting up with this shit already.

Get off of me now.

- Get off. What are you doing? - Where are you going? - You said, "Go," so I'm going.

- Just tell me where you are going. - Going. - Just tell me where you are going.

- Going...to the park. - The park? - Yeah, to chill. - Will you sleep in the park?

- No. Yeah. - Where will you sleep? - In the park. Whatever.

- Ritchie, come here. - No, don't push me. Ritchie, Ritchie.

- Who the...? - I'm not pushing you.

- Go and sit over there. - So you're telling me to go in my room

and then you tell me to go, and then you say to go in the front room.

Just sit here.

'It's too bad.'

It's TOO bad and I'll talk to him again.

If he doesn't listen to me, sorry.

I can't let him stay here.

He's a BLEEP mug.

I'm just proper... I'm not going to get on with him at all.

It's so strange! Like, normally it's me,

the one, like, getting in trouble, shouting, getting shouted at.

Come closer.

Why did you leave so quickly?

Because you said, "Go," so I was like, "All right, then."

Has anyone told you to leave house before, in England?

Yeah, my dad.

Your dad?

Don't you have a good relationship with your dad?

I just don't get on with him. I've left, like, two, three times.

I've stayed out for, like, a year.

Like, a year? Year? It's too bad for you.

Your home life makes me unhappy.

A 17-year-old boy must have a very good family life.

You must be near your dad and your mum.

Do you want to have a good family life?

- Dunno. I don't really know what it's like, so... - OK, OK.

It's really bad, you know.

He has some problems,

and cigarette is the least important, in my opinion.

First of all, he has to solve those problems -

for example, family ties.

Even if I can't teach him anything,

he will see the family ties here - maybe he will understand.

Ali's decided to return Ritchie's earplug

and concentrate on getting the teens used to a good family life as soon as possible.

In the Vural household, eating meals all together is important.

- It's got a head. - Yeah, OK, but don't eat the head.

- Oh! - Don't eat the head.

- Hello! - THEY CHUCKLE

Sorry, I shouldn't play with my fish.

Hannah, why did you drop art school?

Um, I had...

an appointment at the same time as my exam,

so I went to my hair appointment rather than my exam.

It's incredible - you might go to a hairdresser any time.

What do your parents say about this?

They didn't like it, but...

They didn't like it? But they said, "OK," they didn't say anything?

- No. - Interesting.

That's grim. I can't eat any more.

'Her attitude was not so good. She looked a little bit disobedient.'

A girl in her age must attend her school.

It's nearly bedtime. But for Ali, the day's discoveries aren't over.

That picture on your leg -

you must wipe it out immediately.

- I can't - it's a tattoo. It can't go. - You can't?

No, it's a tattoo - it's there for ever, yeah.

I didn't realise it was a tattoo. It's really offensive.

Don't wear shorts. Never. Never. Never.

This is the most important point for us.

- Wanker! - HE CHUCKLES

"Oh, set the table. Can't wear shorts. Take your ear out."

It's like...

It's the teens' first night as part of the Vural household,

but 15-year-old Erdem's already thinking about the end of the week.

They are not polite.

They always say bad words.

I am looking forward to them leaving the house.

It's the school holidays in Turkey...

It's already half past seven.

..but not in the Vural household.

- Hannah, good morning. - What? - Come around to the kitchen and help us.

Ali believes children should work hard all year round.

Now, half an hour later, we will go to a lemon field...

- Lemons? - Yes, and you will do some work.

I just want you, er, to see how hard life is.

- Do we get paid? - Er... HANNAH LAUGHS

- Yes, if you work hard, you will be paid, all right? - OK. - Yeah.

Turkey's Mediterranean coast is famous for its citrus farms.

To get the lemon grove ready for harvest,

the teens have to sweep up the dead leaves for Ali's friend Farmer Said.

Said, I will see you.

The whole grove floor needs to be cleared -

and with temperatures exceeding 30 degrees, it's going to be tough for city kids Ritchie and Hannah.

- Ritchie. - Yeah. - Come on.

Without her mum around to do the work for her,

Hannah gets stuck in.

But Ritchie's dragging his heels.

It's just boring - that's why I don't want to do it.

That's why I'm taking long about it, just longing it out.

Please, you must be hard. Hard!

- OK? - Yeah. That's what I was doing.

You are very slowly...

- Very slowly. - Because I'm doing a good job. You can't rush a good job.

Can I go get my drink?

Wherever he's gone.

I did SOME work, to be fair.

I did quite a lot, actually. More than what I thought I was going to do.

Hannah is better than Ritchie.

I am angry, er, because he is lazy.

At the end of their three-hour shift, Ali comes to pick them up.

Farmer Said pays Hannah and Erdem 20 Turkish lira,

which is around £7. But there's a problem with Ritchie's pay.

- He says you didn't work hard. - Are you serious?

Am I still getting paid at all? Or am I getting nothing?

HE SPEAKS TURKISH He doesn't want to pay anything.

So I've just worked, like, in the heat,

like, sweating my balls off for nothing?

- Mm-hm. - Nah, that's BLEEP ridiculous.

- Nah! - OK.

That's a piss-take, proper.

Like, what an arsehole.

As if he's not paying me.

I'm going to set fire to this stupid lemon yard. I don't give a shit.

Having made his apologies to the farmer, Ali goes after Ritchie.

He should have talked to me, he should have talked to the farmer. He shouldn't have overreacted.

Hi, Ritchie.

All right?

- How do you feel? - Annoyed.

Here, showing respect is really important.

I was getting nothing for doing what I've done today,

- which was bloody hard. - Mm-hm, mm-hm.

Like, in this heat, as well. Like, I can't stress enough, this heat is hot.

Please apologise to him.

- For what? - For...overreacting.

What? For working my balls off, for him,

sweeping his BLEEP leaves and then to not pay me?

I'm not saying sorry to him!

I'm going to buy some fags.

Come, come, don't go away. Come, come, come, come...

Ritchie, you don't know the way.

Ritchie!

For the second time in as many days, Ritchie's anger has got the better of him.

A teenager can't behave like that. Let him walk.

20 years of teaching experience has given Ali insight into dealing with turbulent teens.

I think he's quite troubled.

I think I need to help him, to make him cool down,

to make him less, er, explosive.

The walk home in the midday sun is giving Ritchie time to think.

It's just half-day stuff.

Walk out of school, house, arguments,

relationships, everything - I just walk out of them, cos I can't be bothered with them.

Two hours later, an exhausted Ritchie makes it back to Ali's.

Come, Ritchie.

At home, Ritchie's left to his own devices, but here it's different.

I just want to talk in short about the garden today.

Forget the payment.

Main point - we should know how to treat each other.

Do you react like that when you are in England?

What - just walk away from things?

- Yeah. - Shouting, swearing -

you know, they're not good.

And I know you swore a lot.

Before you explode, you should keep yourself calm.

- All right, Ritchie? - Yeah.

Canan wants Hannah's help in the kitchen.

Hannah does nothing for her mum at home

but in Turkey, female family members all share the cooking.

And cousin Seva has also come to lend a hand.

Turn it now,

and continue to cut it in this way.

Do you spend any time with your mother for cooking?

- Never. - Never?

- She says, "Bad. It's all bad." - Oh, god! - So dramatic!

- She kicked me out of the house cos I lost my job, and so she got angry. - Why you lost your job?

Cos I got drunk.

THEY SPEAK TURKISH

- How much do you drink? - Er...

when I go out with my friends, I go through, like, two bottles of vodka.

Glass of vodka, you said?

Two bottles, not glasses.

Two bottles?!

THEY SPEAK TURKISH

Are you still living, still? are you still living?

Yeah, I'm still living.

Oh, my god!

Big problem!

You see Canan's face -

really very worried about you.

One time, we had a fight. I punched my mum in the face and she got a black eye.

Oh! How can I say to Canan?

THEY SPEAK TURKISH

What happened? What happened?

Dunno. I just hit her and then went out, cos I wanted to go.

No.

You cannot give shocks to our mothers, to our family,

to our elder people.

You should apologise to your mother.

Our mothers are very valuable for us.

I think what they said is true. I just like to drink,

but then when I come home it has a bad effect with my mum.

The hitting of my mum, that was when I was drunk.

Yeah, it's quite bad.

Ali and Canan want to show the teens how important family bonds can be,

so they're travelling to their house in the remote Taurus Mountains to meet Ali's elderly mother and aunt.

This is the best way to show our respect.

Don't kiss, but...

OK?

SHE LAUGHS

- OK? - What?!

OK.

This is Ritchie and Hannah...

OK, good.

It's a bit weird, innit? Like, chinning someone's hand

and then head-butting it and... That's what they do.

Turkish families are close,

so even though they live an hour away, Ali visits his mum and aunt a few times a week.

We often come here because they are two old people who need our care.

Would you do the same thing?

Every...once a month.

Yeah, I wouldn't come up here three or four times a week.

The teens settle in for their overnight stay in the mountains.

After the turbulence of the last two days,

Hannah's surprised at the trust Ali's shown her and Ritchie.

We're two complete strangers,

we're in his family because we're known to be naughty,

and then he introduces me to his mum,

I mean, it doesn't really make sense. He's a brave man.

It's 5am in the mountains.

Good morning, Ritchie, morning...

Wake up.

Ali's arranged for the teens to spend a day with a goat herder

to experience a different way of life.

Five minutes.

They've been told to wear suitable clothes for a day in the country...

but Hannah's outdoor wear is leaving a lot to be desired.

Are you going to party?

- No, I wear this every day. - Every day?

Not just to parties, I wear a skirt every day,

this is what I wear.

That is party... You going to party?

No, no...

- This...what, no party? - No!

I wear this, whatever -

I'll wear this farming

- if I have to. - You won't be OK in that skirt.

It's longer than my shorts.

- Five minutes, come on, come on, come on. - I don't want to wear that.

OK, you just stay here, all right.

I hate nature, anyway!

At home,

Hannah gets away with doing whatever she wants,

but in the Vural family, disobedience gets punished.

So while Ali takes Ritchie, Erdem and 19-year-old cousin Doruk

to the goat herder's, Hannah gets her just desserts...

Kitchen and balcony...

OK?

Mm-hm.

Yeah, I think Canan's scary and strict.

When she tells me to do stuff, she looks quite angry.

While Hannah pulls her weight for once, Ali and the boys

arrive at the goat herder's.

28-year-old Kirim supports his family selling the milk and cheese

from his herd of 140 goats.

Every morning, he takes the goats to be grazed at the top of the mountain.

Be good boys. Bye-bye.

I'm not hungry, I feel ill.

These flies are disgusting and I hate goats, as well.

Well, let's go because we are a little bit late.

Well, let's go then.

GOATS BLEAT

Oh, my God, I hate goats so much.

I'm terrified of goats,

I hate goats so much.

HE BREATHES HEAVILY

Why? Are you afraid of them?

- TEARFULLY: - Yeah, I hate goats so much.

I'm not doing this today, no way...

Nah, not happening.

Hey, Ritchie, where are you going?

I'm terrified of goats! I hate them so much, I don't want to be here at all.

HE LAUGHS

It's not funny.

I think you should at least try it.

No, you've just seen, they've just walked out and I'm crying,

I hate them so much! I'm not going with them goats.

I'm not coming, it's not happening.

They're not monsters.

They scare the BLEEP out of me, and that's just that.

With Ritchie refusing to go with the goats, Ali's been called back.

Can you just stand up, Ritchie?

HE SNIFFS

Are you crying?

What? Yeah, as soon as I saw them.

- I don't even want to talk about goats, I hate them so much. - What's the problem with the goats?

- I just don't like 'em. - Why not? - I just don't.

Don't,

or just because you don't want to go up?

Well, no, I wouldn't cry over BLEEP goats for nothing,

- I hate goats. - Do not swear...

Do not swear, first, OK?

I organised this for you, right,

and for Hannah, and I can't let them down,

and they are disappointed at the moment. I know them.

Yeah, and do you know how terrified I am of goats?

- If you do, I don't think... - I'm trying to understand you.

Yeah, but I don't think you'll be able to.

I hate them so much.

All right, just go.

It was just a wasted opportunity for them,

they wasted it.

If you compare with Turkish teens,

they seem to be younger, not 17.

Back at the house, Ritchie's still upset.

Did something happen bad in the past, with the goats?

- Yeah. - What happened?

I was on holiday and a goat just kept butting me,

like, repeatedly, when I was really little, and I just don't like them.

OK, I understand you,

- I understand you, all right? - I would go up there, like,

for you and for Canan, but I won't because I don't like goats at all.

I understand you,

I just wanted to show you what the hard life can be.

Yeah, I know what you mean and I'm sorry I couldn't do it.

The first thing, you overreacted.

I mean, you raised your voice, which I don't like very much,

but today, you were unhappy, but at least you didn't raise your voice.

- All right? - Yeah.

Keep going like that.

Anything you want to say?

- No. - Apart from sorry I didn't go up to the farm.

Sorry I'm petrified of goats and I had to let you down.

Come on, good boy, be strong, OK?

You are already strong.

Have a look at me, look at me, OK...

Good boy,

let's go.

Ali's encouragement is giving Ritchie

a new perspective on how father and son relationships can be.

I think his approach is good to his parenting ways,

he's just chilled out and it's, like,

good to be like that because he's like a friend most of the time

and then he's a dad when he, like, has to be.

I prefer approaching the teens more softly because being hard, so hard,

to these kind of teens don't work, you know.

They are already...disobedient

and I must slow them down, first of all.

Hannah, can you come here?

Ritchie didn't make it up the mountain,

but refusing to change her clothes meant Hannah didn't make it out the door.

Do you think you broke the rule this morning?

Um, kind of, but...

I was disappointed.

Some certain clothes must be in some certain places.

I mean, you can't... Can you climb up the mountain in skirts?

- Yeah. - No.

Do you go to parties in pyjamas?

Yeah.

Do you go to parties naked?

Yes.

I have actually been to a party naked.

OK, so I mean, Canan warned you just to change your skirt.

You must trust Canan, you must trust your mum in England.

Canan just wants you to write a letter and say,

"Oh, I love you, Mum, I'm really sorry for the things

"I did bad up to now", and I'm sure without saying anything she will forgive you.

Really?

- Honestly, just believe me, OK? She thinks so. - OK.

- Right, you will do that? - Yeah. - Good.

I'm sorry.

I'm happy.

I'm glad you're happy.

'Things about this family that I like are just, like, they explain themselves

'as to why they're telling me to do stuff

'and it kind of makes me think twice,

'like, why don't me and my mum have that bond'

where we can talk about stuff? And I want that,

instead of just being shouted at all the time.

Large family barbecues are a Turkish tradition.

At home, Hannah and Ritchie never help their parents,

but as part of Ali's family, they're getting stuck in.

Shake, shake your bum!

Hannah's helping the women make a typical Turkish dish.

Kofte.

- Is that a burger? - Burger, yes, yes, it is very similar to burger.

I made them.

You made them?

We say... HE SPEAKS TURKISH

"You made it very well". Thank you.

You're welcome.

- No, no, no, no. - Have it, have it.

For me, thank you!

Urgh!

Some time, my mum does the same to me.

'It's been one of the best nights so far, I think.

'I haven't heard any of them arguing,'

like, this is another night where they're all just, like, chilling,

and I think one of them is even knitting!

My family aren't like this family at all.

If I was to have a family I would kind of want them like this,

like, all together and helping each other and, like,

the youngers helping the olders and just, like, I dunno, just really nice.

HE SPEAKS TURKISH

ALL: Ooh!

- Very good! His pronunciation is very clear. - Very clear.

The tight-knit family atmosphere seems to be rubbing off on Hannah, too.

You're welcome.

They are getting better.

In this family occasion, in this family gathering,

I realise that they look happier.

It's time to leave the mountains.

Ali's driving the teens back to Silifke to visit the residents of an old people's home.

I hate old people.

Old people are long.

Do you like old people?

- Yes, I like them. - You're crazy.

Ali wants Hannah and Ritchie to spend time with people who have no family of their own.

We are just here

to show our respect. They will see you, that's enough, it makes them happy, it's very nice.

I'm not cleaning them or helping them go to the toilet?

- You don't have to clean, OK? - I'm not helping them go to the toilet.

- If you want...wait, no, you're not going to the toilet. - Dog. - Wait a minute.

Be a good girl just for me, OK?

Yeah.

It's teatime at the home

and Hannah and Ritchie get serving...

It's pretty grim,

it's gash, I can't be bothered with it.

I'm leaving these gloves on

so I don't get any old lurgies or anything.

Ritchie, she's a little bit tired,

er, can you help walk her to her room?

- OK. - You can help. - How?

You can help.

LADY SPEAKS TURKISH

Zeynap is 83 and has no children.

She's lived in the home for the last three years.

- It's good to help someone, I think, yes? - Yeah.

- She's crying. - Is she crying at me?

Have I done something wrong?

No, no,

sometimes she cries... and melancholic...

- Why? - I will ask. I don't know.

THEY SPEAK TURKISH

LADY SPEAKS TEARFULLY

(What have I done?)

She hasn't got any family,

and now melancholic because she is happy we are here

and also you help her, Hannah and you helping her.

Oh, that's well nice.

Yes, she said, "I am very happy you are here and you are helping me".

Aww!

She said, "I have nobody, so that I am all the time crying."

Would you like a hug?

Yeah! SHE SPEAKS TURKISH

You can, Ritchie, you can do this.

Ahh!

SHE SPEAKS TURKISH

She said, "Thank you."

It's OK.

I was like, "Oh, shit, what have I done? Have I like offended her?"

But no, she was just happy that me and Hannah came to see her.

Like, I dunno - it was quite nice.

She's just in here on her own

with nobody else and it must be, like, rubbish.

Ritchie, what did you feel about old people?

Um, some old woman cried to me, she was, like, really happy

that I come and saw her and I gave her a hug and she was really happy.

- Oh, how nice. - I feel better about myself.

How nice. One day, everybody will be old.

I'll come and see you when you're old, as well.

Ah, good boy, good boy! Thank you. What about you?

- No, never coming back! - Oh, I'm sure you'll change your mind later.

'He's an absolute dick for bringing me here'

because now I feel like a dick,

because I just don't care about old people.

Ali's disappointed with Hannah's attitude at the home.

I just want her to feel compassion

for the people who have less than her.

Come, Hannah.

He's arranged for her to teach English to a poor girl from the country.

- They are not a very rich family - she's a girl who works very hard, all right? - Yes, that's fine.

Erdem's cousin Doruk has brought Hannah

to teach her lesson in a small village 20 miles outside Silifke.

In Turkey, over a third of all rural families

live below the poverty line, and adult literacy rates are low.

Eda is 20 years old and lives with her family on their tomato farm.

- Hey! - My name is Eda.

- Eda. - My mother. - Your mum. - Grandmother.

I'm Hannah, Hannah.

Before the lesson begins, Eda shows Hannah around.

She says this is the kitchen.

Where does everyone sleep?

SHE SPEAKS TURKISH

She says they are living and sleeping in that room, all five people,

these are their beds.

So do they not have a bedroom? No, just a living room?

- Yes, one room and one kitchen and one bathroom, I think. - Is that it?

Yes, that's all.

My God.

At home I have my own bedroom and my own bathroom.

- Hello. - Hello.

Hello means, like, "hi".

- Hi. - Happy is good. - Good.

- Sad is bad. - Bad.

- Happy, sad. - Yeah.

As well as attending university, Eda helps her mum

by working in the fields and doing all the cooking at home.

It's a stark contrast to Hannah and her mum.

I didn't fully appreciate everything that she did for me

just because back in England I thought that that's what every child got.

Being over here makes me realise how fortunate I actually am.

My life is just so much more simple than hers.

Bye.

Oh, thank you!

There's been no contact between Hannah and her mum since she was kicked out a week ago.

So Hannah's decided to follow Canan's advice and write her a letter.

The thing I want to apologise most for is just my general, like, attitude towards her.

I know the punching in the face was really not acceptable

and, like, the major things that I've done,

they wouldn't have happened if I didn't have a bad attitude.

I feel like...

I've taken a first step

and that I feel a lot better for it.

It's the teens' last full day in Silifke.

After breakfast, Ali delivers a letter he's received for Ritchie.

Hello, Ritchie, do you know this?

Yes, it's my dad's writing.

Ritchie's lived with his dad since he was 11, but they've never spoken about the time

Dad walked out on the family when Ritchie was just three years old.

"I'm really sorry that I was not man enough to stay with you both,

"but I was selfish and hurting so I ran away."

I didn't, like, know how he felt because he's never said anything.

It makes me feel like he does actually, like,

care for me and love me,

even though he doesn't show it all the time.

It's Hannah and Ritchie's final evening.

They rarely cook at home but they want to show the family their thanks by cooking dinner,

all by themselves.

It's on fire.

Wow, look at this,

Look at this.

The table looks wonderful, but everything's more beautiful when it is shared with you.

Ah, thanks, Ali.

Very delicious.

Thank you.

Did you miss your parties?

I missed, like, two parties and a wedding, but it was much better here.

- Much better here? - Yeah.

Goksu, do you want some help?

How nice, very good.

She's a real alba, you know "alba"? Elder sister.

Is that better? I take that as a yes.

This home is your home.

- Thank you. - All the time.

Thanks.

Hannah and Ritchie's time with the Vural family has come to an end.

I don't want to leave.

I'm quite enjoying it here now.

They've made me realise that, like, family life is quite important.

I do want to be more of a son to my dad,

but I want him to be, like, more of a dad to me as well,

not just two people that live in a house like housemates,

like, I want to be like a family.

Being part of the Vural household has also given Hannah a new outlook on family life.

It was just really genuinely nice atmosphere,

which I don't have at home.

When I go back home, I guess I am going to have to take the first step

to, like, changing the relationships with my mum to be more of an adult.

Hannah hasn't heard from her mum all week

and still doesn't know if she's allowed to come home.

I just hope that she can accept the letter and accept that I am willing to change.

- Don't cry, don't cry. - Take care, boy.

See you later, man. Are we going to do the handshake one last time?

Oh, yeah!

'Canan and me have tried to give them attention and affection and it worked.

'Just for one week, we have taught them a lot,

'but they have taught something to us -'

we shouldn't leave our kids alone.

As the teens start their long journey home,

Hannah's mum receives her letter.

To hear her actually say, "I love you so much",

which she hasn't said for years...

..so...

I'm hoping that she has spoken from the heart and it is true.

The next day, there's a surprise at the airport for Hannah.

- I'm sorry for everything. Did you get my letter? - I did.

- Did you like my letter? - I did like your letter.

This week I just, like, realised how much you do do for me

and just, like, and how I should appreciate a lot more.

You can come back home, but it is for a trial period only.

OK.

Things are going to be different.

- All right, shall we go home? - Yeah, that's fine. - Come on, then.

I'm so looking forward to my bed.

Me and Ritchie cooked dinner on the last day

and we burnt the spaghetti and the whole house nearly went on fire!

I'll cook you something - not spaghetti bolognese, cos that was so hard!

Oh, hello, son.

How you doing?

- Did you get a chance to read over the letter I sent you? - Yes, I read it a couple of times.

I thought about it and I agree with a lot of things you say,

like, I need to, I dunno, kind of learn from your mistakes

and stuff like that, and do better.

I don't want you to go through what I went through, son. You can stop now

and you can learn from us and you can not make the mistakes I've made.

I agree. Would you like a hug? You look like you want a hug.

I would like a hug, father-son hug.

Ahhh!

Well done.

Is there anything else you want me to do after?

Can you put the washing up out of the sink and into the dishwasher, please?

She's just come home and had a total turnaround,

it's a lot better.

She does help out around the house now, so that I can go to bed when I come in from working the night shift

and I'm happy with her change.

I've definitely realised how important my family is. I've definitely learnt stuff.

- Love you, Mum. - Love you.

Next time on The World's Strictest Parents...

I think she's a spoilt little cow, yeah.

..12 rebellious teens were sent to stay with strict families.

You just lie.

But did a dose of firm discipline make any lasting impression on their lives back home?

The biggest thing I learnt was to completely stay off weed.

I'm just gobsmacked. It's just like a new kid, you know?

It was definitely the best experience so far in my life.

I would not go back, even if you paid me. I couldn't stand them.

Trump's Successful Choice: Russian Politicians Comment on the Appointment of US Secretary of State - Duration: 1:00.

"Now Sergey Lavrov, Russian Minister of Foreign Affairs,

has a partner to discuss Russia-US relations in a constructive way,"

that's how Rex Tillerson's appointment was commented by Konstantin Kosachev,

Chair of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Federation Council.

According to him, there is a reason for cautious optimism.

Kosachev also considers Rex Tillerson's appointment

as Donald Trump's momentous success in personnel selection.

Leonid Slutsky, Chairman of the State Duma Committee on International Affairs,

believes that Tillerson's appointment will

improve Russia-US relations slowly but steadily.

According to the MP, the new Secretary of State is a businessman

who understands that unlocking the potential of Russia-US relations is important.

At the same time Slutsky urges to be realistic and

to understand that the situation will be changing rather slowly.
