Hello, everyone Its Msh with you. Today we are going to visit one of the 3rd Reich objects.
Well we can say 2 objects of 3rd Reich, it`s a shelter for Hitler's command train.
Handmade tunnels, concrete buildings that were serving to protect the train and hide it from possible bombardment.
Lets go and check that out. Very interesting thing.
Story here is very short. You maybe have heard about Hitler`s command train under name "America", now many are writing comments about: where is golden train of Hitler.
Msh have you found it. But sadly this time, we are not speaking about this. And so: from the name "Command train" we can understand that Hitler was not using it for traveling from A to B.
But was doing somethings and was organizing meetings and so on. And so to hide train from possible bombardment – there were built 4 shelters for it. Thickness of walls for such shelters is about 2.5m.
Shape of the shelter reminds me, shelter of Vinkel type. Just stretched in length. Such shape works best in spreading shock wave to the sides from the object.
Construction was carried out by Germans, 4500 people from December of 1940 to April of 1941 created this handmade tunnel vaults.
Code name while under construction – Ascania. By company with false name "Todta" for creating higher level of secrecy.
What is more interesting that there were 3 objects under name – "Ascania": North – Hitler headquarters "Wolfsschanze" – I already shoved you videos from it.
"Acnania" center or in German "Angale Mitte" and "Ascania" South – "Anlage Sud".
In Central and South are planned to vaults for the command train. We are going to visit position of Ascania Central.
Two bunkers, one in Konewka and one in Jelen. First one is museum and second one is abandoned.
What they are representing – you will see in the video. From myself I will add that in service were put only two located in "Ascania" south.
At 27th of August of 1941 command train together with Hitler arrived to town Strzyzow, at the same time to the bunker located in Stepina arrived Mussolini.
There he meet Hitler and talked about plans of attacking soviet union. Shortness is sister of talent. And now have a nice time watching video about two bunkers that are located in "Ascania Central".
And so it looks that Yandex marker was placed in right place and I arrived where I needed. Hideout of Hitler command train.
And from the start we can understand that it is not a civil place by first perimeter and then the second one.
Ticket costs 19Zl, lets say 20. Multiply it by 15 aaaand it costs 300RUB. Well, not that much. And so at the entrance we see such fortified firing positions.
Such feeling that it was made out of concrete rings from which sewerage is made. But I have a feeling that this concrete is more durable.
And here is precise plan of what we are going to see today. Now I will try to figure it out and translate it. By the way – railroad, goes right there.
And as always we are going to leave most interesting for the later and head straight for a walk at surrounding grounds.
That is hiding some interesting places. I made a photo of the scheme and now will make a walk around this bunker and check what was surrounding it.
On the left side goes this handmade tunnel. Vault that managed to overgrow slightly.
Or maybe trees were planted from the beginning. For better masking. From scouting planes.
And first thing that we meet is such concrete construction for water storage, as well here was located pump station.
As always certain power is present. Now lets come closer to it and check out what is inside
How pleasantly concrete is overgrowing. Green. Soft. But better not to fall on it – well you have to try hard to fall on a wall.
Huge room with the thick walls. By the way, here probably two in one bunkers. No. Just thickness of walls is around one meter.
Or even more. Hole is made. Here will be even more around 1.2 – 1.5m. And what is closed in there?
It is pulling me closer. Probably closed so that no one would fall in. there probably were water tanks.
Well yes. And what is written in here? "Dangerous zone. Open channels and hatches". Well basically no reason to walk.
Well everything is fine – concrete. You can step on it. And such tanks, I understand that they go under the floor and I wont be surprised if they go under the whole floor in here.
Water tanks and pump room.
By some reason I taught that water was spilled in to concrete tanks, but maybe here were located metal tanks and there were only pumps – that is more likely.
And as always typical German air vents. After this trip through objects of 3rd Reich I subconsciously start to pay attention towards them.
Towards their typical sizes, diameters and placement. Such hatch. Lets go to the second place.
And approx. in 70m we arrive to two more such constructions.
First one was power plant – here most likely were located diesel generators
and in the next one were boilers, probably for heating.
And first thing that I saw is very, very large aperture.
In height around 2m and in Wight around 3m.
It was closed in the past with such metal plates, I think that this most likely were air vents.
Air was flowing in such way towards generators located in there.
Thickness was such to protect generators from close explosions and air was flowing this way to prevent rocks from not ricocheting.
Specific filters. It all looks so massive.
Most likely between this plates were some sort of smaller filters – I wont be surprised if it was like that.
Or it was not like that.
And so lets get inside, at the entrance we see such sign that tells us that ahead of us was some sort of switchbox,
slightly right was ventilation station and right and back were some sort of technical channels that most likely were connecting this bunker
with bunker where train it self was located.
At the entrance as well we see what is left from hinges,
most likely here was hermetic door – and so what we have here?
Large room.
Here probably were diesel generators in trenches were cables that were spreading created electricity and that it most likely here were 3 generators.
2 were working and one was as a reserve probably – but I am not sure.
Going further we see that here are few such rooms.
Here probably was filtration station. And here are plates that I previously told you about.
And here is passage downward, and by this corridor most likely we can get to our bunker.
And that is what we will do with pleasure, but only after we will check another place near by.
Here is located boiler room. At least what I understood.
And here are those metal plates, there are placed in such interesting way and are made out from the thick metal.
But not in such large size as vents for generators.
Inside are few rooms absolutely empty. Interesting – where was moved German equipment.
I am sure that Germans haven't taken it away. Most likely it was done by us – after examination.
Through here we can get in to first building, well basically nothing more.
Okay people, we are diving in to the connecting tunnel – technical.
Between generator room and bunker it self. Going down by wooden stairs.
Here is gate that is closed by museum workers.
And so first go spread out – what we have here?
Here appears to be few tunnels. This are probably for communications.
For this moment where does it lead? Okay It is slightly covered with concrete.
Lets move by main tunnel it goes with certain turn most likely it is done for absorbation of shock wave if it will get in case of something.
Because I am not sure that here in ground are some type of problem that could have forced builders to move around it.
But anything is possible – and so here are probably old pipes anti shard ceiling – further goes very strong lowering
and I am going almost crouching here is slightly more than 1m in height.
And most likely we are now below the bunker it self. I was thinking that we can get in it by foot.
Oh there is something there – we will get through there.
And here is such ladder that leads in to bunker it self.

I wouldn't have paid attention to it if be honest.
And so we are in bunker it self.
and I am as usual, came in not through the main entrance but came from bellow the earth.
It was not intended, but as you see I am crawling with everything on me.
Because dragging something out of my backpack will take lots of time.
Its easer to go like this.
The only problem appears when there is a need to crawl in narrow spaces.
I suggest to you and to myself to go to the beginning of the tunnel and then go to its end.
So that we wouldn't start exploration from the middle.
After walking slightly back I suggest to you start checking out exposition.
Here comes railroad that is not functional any more.
And first thing we pass by the entrance that in the past was protected by strong metal gates.
And we can see hinges from them. And behind them was located guard post.
Don't go at a gun point. And so – first thing at the beginning is located exposition.
Exposition of different found things or brought here.
What really made me feel excited is this authentic radio from those times but lets look behind the box and we will understand everything.
After that I started filming exhibits. From interesting will mention German radio stations and UAZ.
Most likely from the times of Red army in Poland.
As well I liked model of Hitler`s command train.
As you may see tunnel of few hundred meters length was built not without a reason. As train on its own is not so short.
It has platforms with AA guns, staff car, storage car, restaurant, bedrooms, meeting car, guards, sauna, special Hitler car and locomotive.
And here is what is interesting for us such model – we are now located inside
of this tunnel and near by are shown bunkers that we visited.
For water – pump station.
Filtration/Ventilation station.
Generator station. And underground communications you can imagine.
Such bunker. There were more compact ones for armored trains.
Lets assume doors are opening and Leopold comes out, only this Leopold wont tell you: Fellows, lets live friendly.
Its caliber – 283. Won`t give you peace not even a little. It looks amazing. I can image recoil of this weapon.
I remember our trip with Andrew to Krasnoflotsk to port Krasnaja Gorka , there were 305cal.
Even larger caliber. And this is shelter Jelen, it is slightly different as you may see.
It goes in such radius and slightly different position of technical buildings. But its purpose is the same.
Complex is represented by one tunnel – very long one, with side rooms for technical personal. Here is entrance there.
Slightly later we will get there as for now I want to go to the end of the tunnel and make a photo from there.
Here are probably what is left from the pumps. It is even spinning a little. This one slightly worse.
There is a descent length to walk – well not that much but it will take some time.
And so – from this hole we came out with you, but we will not get in there anymore it was enough.
And now here begins fenced area. Its good that camera is very light sensitive as here is kind off dark.
Here was probably a hole, but its not deep enough so no. There are left overs of railroad.
To have a compact light source will never be a bad idea – here probably is shown how railroad in here looked like.
Rails were placed on wooden beams that are going in to the distance and they later were attached to them of course in middle goes water drain.
And that's all as there would be problematic to try and get bellow the train so its hard to call a service pit.
There is no light in the end of this tunnel. There is only some sort of advertisement and tags. Stopping beam.
small exit probably. Yes exit as we can see trees on another side. This exit was made so that shock wave would not be locked inside.
Here are missing few firing positions – who knows maybe someone will try to over take this place.
And so in to the distance this tunnel looks like. How nicely man is running.
We still haven't explored this side tunnel that goes over whole length of main tunnel. Row of sectioned rooms separated with – probably – airtight doors.
Where had to be located certain equipment. Here is increased humidity – it can be felt.
Somehow like this it looked like. We can see ventilation. There were stopping valves or maybe communication holes.
But that is less likely. And here – obviously something was torn off. But there is nothing more everything is very similar.
One more interesting moment – preserved original German writings. They were planning to do something.
To drill square holes and everything is so pedantic. Germans – what can you do with that.
By the way, interestingly – bunker has standard egg shape and further goes attachment in it was most likely located technical part – passage where we were walking.
And plus add thickness of concrete. In 70 years such forest managed to grow that about rail road in here can tell only light elevation here.
And of course I wouldn't be me if I wouldn't visit second bunker that is located not far away – it is abandoned, but we will take a fast glance to understand what was inside.
In this task most important is to find it. I told that and it was like a prediction.
While I was looking for bunker I missed needed turn and found an interesting adventure.
I arrived to rail station where still are used semaphores. Even worse – I asked to be let inside and even more than that I got opportunity to operate this system.
There is a spare video about that on my life channel. To those that are interested I will live link in description and annotation.
And at the brake between visiting two places, museum and not museum one you definitely need to eat and that is what I suggest to you too.
And today we will be eating traditional polish food.
Well after all my blog is dedicated to abandoned places and not the food but if be short I will tell that my lunch consisted from Polish cuisine.
From which I was pleased by soup – Zurek. I am very much recommending it to those that will be in Poland.
And so we are now riding the road that takes us straight to the second bunker. Straight to its entrance.
You don't even need to get out of the car and can with no problems drive in. So what?
Its normal thing to drive in to the bunker. I once already did so. I driven in to nuclear bunker. Its FUN.
Outside we can see where was the railroad. What is interesting in here it didn't manage to overgrow.
Here is exactly same entrance. The length of the bunker is slightly less by few tens of meters but main idea is the same.
And here is the sign saying length is 355m. here obviously in the past were gates but entrance here is slightly simpler than in that bunker.
But I suppose that we need to get inside and have a walk. It's a sacred thing.
From outside we can see such spikes – it is possible that to them was attached masking net. So that it wouldn't be torn off.
Or maybe, but no. moose managed to grow only in last decades. Back then it was fresh concrete.
And so it needed to be hidden from above by masking net. And so this spikes were holding everything.
And that means that we could try to climb by them to the top.
But I am not sure as there is a decent distance between some of them and I am afraid that I will fall from them.
But later we will try after we will get out from here. But for now lets take a look inside.
And now lets look at difference between this bunker and the one we visited earler.
Well first difference is that technical passage is located not from the left side but from the right one.
Is it looking the same? How much water is here? Yes, everything is exactly the same.
Only difference is that here everything is slightly bent and that is why its hard to see what is in distance. But lets get to the end with you.
What is interesting is that from humidity and time here rails managed to get slightly damaged. Its surface became bumpy.
Probably because metal was falling off in layers. But here they are rusting differently than in open space.
Carefully in distance turning tunnel, you can bend it in to the ring and walk for infinity. That could be Hitler`s torture.
And light in the end of tunnel looks like this. There is no direct light and only its reflection.
You can get here with a car? Well I done exactly that. It is standing behind the corner.
I am not only one walking… "It Is very beautiful". It will be possible to illuminate it with lights.
Guys are exploring as well. Hi. Just a second. I have a second torch.
And so unexpectedly I transformed from 1 in to 5 people and we are exploring how things are in here.
Comrade tells me that in the past here was a trench. Exact same trench like in Konewka.
And not so long ago everything was covered in concrete. And that's why I walk and try to figure out where are the rails.
But rails are gone. Because they were taken out long time ago.
But there we still haven't reached the end of tunnel yet. But we definitely have to get there.
Guys went back – they got lazy to watch to the end, but I am not lazy and that's why will go further.
And so here is the back wall of the bunker with very interesting graffiti. Sometimes peoples imagination doesn't know borders.
Exit at the back wall. Compared to museum one is not closed. And you can without problem get out and smile to the sunset.
One more interesting part here is that side exits are open. Odd markings. Side exits are open and through one of them guys came in.
The distant lights. I have few torches one has a wide angle – very useful for video capturing.
And second one with a long range. Now I will switch off the wide one. That is how long range one looks like.
It is hard to capture with it but at least you can see what is happening there in the distance. By the way it feels that someone is coming this way I think.
And this seems like junction with underground but it seems that here its hopelessly and to get there has no logic.
But its idea is similar to the one in that bunker. Connection of this part of main tunnel with engineering – technical supply.
Here by the way is side exit. It is as well not a straight line.
And gets us to such square. Oh and here are the bunkers. And here someone was burning the torch.
And here everything looks the same and I have suspicion that we wont see anything new but only thing
is that its not museum part that's why here everything has to be more destroyed or at least have more trash.
I believe that there is nothing more to destroy here as all the equipment is taken out.
The same typical leftovers of filters.
Despite their condition they still rise respect from me.
Inside everything looks the same as in Konewec bunker apart from amount of trash and signs.
And I came her to look at the tunnel and to be sure that it is flooded and filled with trash. That's why to walk in it is no possibility apart from swimming.
And that's probably all. What is left is to do something unusual. Well how to say unusual – for me its usual thing. Climb up.
so lets get up from here and then we will see. Will we succeed or not. Its questionable but.

as I will immediately become a girl.
But that's a very good exercise no complains.
And so what to do next? If you think that its now flat – then its here.
I don't even imagine how I will climb down, but despite that – I am at the top of the bunker.

Well that's how it looks like. And we can have a small walk at the top.
And so we are walking on the top and I don't have any idea how I will get down as the roof goes at very large slope and to reach first spike
I will need probably to slide down but okay, somehow, well further everything is covered in thick trees and I don't see logic in going there as it is same on the whole length,
but at the top it looks like this and now look how it managed to overgrow by trees.
I think that when this construction was built trees were tried to keep untouched.
So that they together with masking net would cover all this from above.
Bravery and stupidity in one.
So lets go then.

And now it will be slightly simpler. Makes our task easer about 2m passed. It appears its very comfortable to slide on your side.
Very good. But further it is going to be harder, but possible.
