How To Transition Into Software Development Coming From A Complete Different Field? - Duration: 7:00.

Hey, what's up?

John Sonmez from simpleprogrammer.com.

Today we're going to talk about how to get practical experience writing code, for those

of you that are trying to figure out how I can actually get some experience.

Sometimes it's like a catch 22, right?

The name here is Isis.

"I'm not sure what exactly to do to gain experience writing code and honing my skills.

I know it's a struggle early on but I'm not sure how to start.

What program would you recommend a person use to practice writing code?

Does it depend on what language you use?

Thanks so much for your time!"

Then he says, "I'm self-taught.

I've had a few formal classes in CS, more so languages than CS theory."

I mean there's a few different things that I would recommend.

First of all, what you want to do—and always when you're trying to learn something, when

you're trying to do something is you want to make it as real world as practical as possible,

right?

You don't want to—there's a place for deliberate practice, when you're working on specific

things but the best way to really learn something is to just dive in, is to have some kind of

real applicable problem that you're solving.

What I mean by this is I think a lot of programmers make the mistake, beginning programmers, they

make the mistake or a lot of people in general just when they're trying to learn something

is they come up with weird situations.

They try to solve—they look for little problems to solve that don't really apply in the real

world.

It's sort of a dummy, like a—I don't know how to describe it, but it's not a real realistic

scenario and so your training and your practice doesn't help you that much.

What I would recommend that you do is you try to figure out, okay, what is an actual

problem that you could solve?

Now, keep it simple and make an actual application for you that can solve that problem.

I always like to do things where I get multiple benefits, multiple results from what I'm doing.

If I'm going to do something I want to have multiple things benefits that I'm going to

get from that.

What I mean by that is so let's say that you're going to write an application, why not pick

an application that solves a problem for you?

Okay, that's result number 1 and it's going to teach you how to program in your programming

languages.

You're going to learn by doing that, so that's result number 2 and maybe it's an application

that you could sell, maybe say an android or an iPhone application or a web application.

Maybe you're not going to make a lot of money, but maybe you could sell it so that's benefit

3.

Maybe it's something that's good enough that you could put in your portfolios to help you

get a job, so that's 4.

You see what I'm saying?

What you want to do is—that sort of—it forexes the value of your time because you're

going to be able to get all of those benefits from the same thing.

Try and figure out some projects that you can work on, right?

I mean maybe it's something as simple as organizing your CD collection.

I don't know why you still have a CD collection.

You need to get iTunes or whatever.

If you've got something like that or whatever it is, your stamp collection or comic books,

I don't know, something simple that you have a problem with that you can solve that you

can sell.

IT doesn't matter if someone;'/s already done it and someone has already done it better,

you can still sell something for 99 cents.

You can still just put it out there and see.

The goal—you don't have to stress about it and be like, "Oh, I've got to make money."

No, no, just have that possibility.

It's going to be crap.

You're just learning.

That's fine.

It's fine, but you're going to learn so much more by actually doing, by actually solving

a real problem that you have than you will by any other means.

These forced practice problems and whatnot, they can be good especially for deliberate

practice when you're like, "Okay, I'm really bad at this area so I need to do a bunch of

problems that will help me to solve this, to get better at this thing.

That's fine, that's cool, you can do that.

That's called deliberate practice.

Musicians practice scales, they do all kinds of stuff that's deliberate practice.

Boxers practice hitting the speed bad, but the thing that's really going to help you

learn that's going to give you the biggest boost when you're starting out.

When you're an expert deliberate practice becomes more critical, but when you're starting

out it's actually real world application, real world development.

So create a project.

Do your own project and start working on it.

I'll give you one other tip real quick here.

If you want to get experience working with a team and working with other developers,

go look at open source projects.

Go to GitHub and look for projects and start contributing.

Start contributing by doing the kind of grunt work that no one else wants to do.

You've got to sweep the floors, you've got to mop the floors, clean the toilet, you know

what I'm talking about, stuff like maybe writing documentation or picking up stuff that no

one else wants to do and you're going to be able to get in that way because someone will

let you do that.

You can't take the glamorous jobs first.

That's really the key thing.

My emphasis here, again, there are lots of ways that you could do this.

I could give you tools and recommendation problems, but that's not going to help you

so much as—let's thing principal wise.

Principal wise is one, I want to do real world application stuff, something that actually

solves a real problem in the world for me or for someone else and creating a real application.

That's the best way to practice your coding.

Number 2, you want it to have multiple beneifts.

What type of thinking you do, what kind of project can you work on that's going to benefit

you in multiple ways?

I just gave you a few, but you could come up with your own.

That's kind of the key.

This way you're maximizing your time and you're able to learn as quickly as possible.

All rigyht, that's all I got for this question.

If you like this video, go ahead and click that subscribe button below.

I've got another request for you.

If you noticed this shirt that I'm wearing and you want to get one of these Simple Programmer

shirts, Trust the Process shirts, Trusting the process is all about not focusing on the

results when you're learning to become a programmer.

This is something that you might want to have so that you can look at the mirror and remind

yourself that you just need to trust the process because you'll eventually get there.

If you're so focused on the results and I can—I created this shirt for me because

I get focused on results and I need to remember to trust the process.

That's been the secret to my success.

I look at the mirror and I see this shirt and I say, "Okay, trust the process."

So if you want one of these shirts go ahead and click on me and you could buy one of these

shirts and I'll get it shipped right to you.

Take care and I'll talk to you next time.

Like the rain

Like the coldest rain

You washed me away

When I didn't have a clue

What could've caused a chain reaction so unstoppable

Yeah, I'd like to know

Tell me do you feel ashamed though?

How you've turned your back on me?

Please, tell me why you'd go this far,

and who the hell you think you are?

And now, nevermind

Nevermind the love we've messed up

Now this is place is full of dust

Surrounded by the illusion of a friend

The friend of mine

With your self-defense

Tell me do you feel ashamed though?

How you've turned your back on me?

Y: No!!!

Y: NOO!!!

Y: Look how cute is Jungkook!

C: How cute is Jungkook. He's travelling with the high-speed rail.

Y:CFR (state railway carrier of Romania).

Y: It was V.

C: It was Jimin.

Y: On the railway. (late reaction causes confusion)

C: Yes, Jimin was on the bea..(beach, yes, again, late reaction)

Y: It doesn't matter, I would go with any of them anyway.

C: Jimin!?

Y: We could die together on the railway.

Y: Look at how cute is V! /biased af/

Y: It was V...(on the railway, ok, get over it lol)

C: Yeah. (Yza's late reaction confused us)

Y: They're so gebejkfegeg (cute).

Y: It sounds so good!

Y: Look at how cute they are together.

Y: Why aren't we that cute too?

Y: Together...(you are not BTS)

C: I don't know why I am so quiet, I am trying to focus on what's happening, on the...

C: JINNN!

Y: Something is happening again with Jin!

C: Poor Jin...

Y: What?

C: Dirty clothesss!

Y: Woa, my room!

Y: My room!

C: Can you realize how much time it took to prepare that big pile of clothes?

Y: If you stay one week in my room...

C: Too much rom-english (they add too much english words between romanian ones when they're too excited)

Y: Something is happening again with Jin!

Y: But I want to know what!

Y: The song is so beautiful!

Y: I will memorize it by one day.

C: Very pretty!

Y: 나도 보고싶어 (I miss you too)

C: But where did the boys go?

C: Jungkook changed his hairstyle.

Y: There's something happening...

C: What's happening here?

C: Why is Jungkook running? In so many music videos..

Y: No, actually he's the only one who realizes what's happening.

Y: Also in "I need U" and "Run".

C: What's happening here?

Y: WHAT?

Y: That was so pretty...Wait, isn't this thing also in "I need U"? Or "Run"...

Y: Yes it is!

Y: No it's not!

Y: What?

C: It's in "I need U".

C: With the flower.

Y: Oh look, all of them are there. I didn't saw them at first.

Y: Too many clothes.

Y: I also want to go and throw myself on that pile of clothes.

Y: With V.

C: Jungkook... in the same sad state.

Y: Can you see that holy halo?

C: Sad...

C: Wait, now they're all going to appear.

Y: The song is really pretty!

C: Poor Jimin, he is so sad.

Y: Something is happening.

C: Sad.

Y: I'm coming!

C: Oh but that's so beautiful.

C: The place chosen to record is really beautiful.

Y: Art, BTS means art.

Y: It sounds so good, omg, oh my god, OMG, OH MY GOD !!!

C: Jimin, what's happening, Jimin!?

C: What's with those slippers?

Y: Those shoes belong to Jin. Jin didn't wear anything in...

C: Slippers lol, I mean shoes.

Y: Sneakers, whatever.

C: You know, you can let go of my hand now.

Y: Sorry.

C: And so the shoes remained in the tree.

C: The end.

Y: I'm confused.

C: Yes.

Y: What's happening?

C: It's ok.

Y: No, but really.

C: What's your opinion about the music video? Any theory or?

Y: But how many theories I have.

Y: First of all, I'm confused beacause I am not sure what happened. But I know that those shoes belong to Jin, because Jin didn't wear anything in the photos from the last album.

Y: And I guess it highlights that he died so when Jimin arrives with the shoes he admits that Jin really died.

Y: Because in "I need U" and "Run"... I have a lot of theories about them.

Y: Jin dies in "I need U". We are sure of it now.

Y: And the others commit suicide because of his death but...

C: Like "Romeo and Julliet".

Y: But in "Prologue", there's something happening with V.

C: Yea but you saw that J-hope had problems with depression and pills.

Y: All of them have problems with depression and pills.

Y: But it was nice when Jimin waited for J-hope.

C: You know that all these things were hinted in their past music videos, like really from the beginning.

Y: I saw that the title tracks were written on the walls! Why?

C: First music videos like "We all bulletproof" and "No more dream" weren't linked but starting from... Y:Danger.

C: Danger, no...

Y: Danger too.

C: Starting from "War of hormones" and so weren't very linked to this concept but now they are following it with all these things.

C: And in "Blood, Sweet & Tears" there's some kind of epilogue.

Y: The thing is that everything starts from Jin and it's going slowly to V. There's something wrong with V.

C: But regarding the theme "Boy meets evil" was linked to J-hope's part in the album.

C: Which was also linked to "Run" and "I need U" and so on.

Y: The main idea is that they all commit suicide.

C: Everyone dies!

C: BTS are dying!

Y: There are many symbols here and I don't understand.

C: Fine, ok, ok, OK, OK. Let's talk about the music video. What do you think about "Spring day"?

Y: So artistic. It hurts. I can't believe I refrained myself from watching the mv for six days.

C: Yes, we had to wait to watch this MV.

Y: Yes, for this we need over 10k views for...

C: We suffered.

Y: For healing.

C: These were our reactions for today!

Y: Thank you for watching us and we are waiting you in the next videos!

Y: Till then

[ENG SUB] [CH+ mini replay] Congratulating Jin on his graduation - Duration: 2:01.

[Because Jin couldn't go to his own graduation...] Right now, Jin is...

[Jimin is preparing a surprise graduation party for Jin] probably doing a broadcast for graduating.

Today, Jin is graduating from his university,

but he couldn't go to the graduation ceremony.

So knowing his personality, he's probably very upset...

even though he's pretending like he's not.

[Jimin, acting as Jin] Sigh... Why am I like this?

He'll be like that.

[A surprise party for Jin who is upset] So we prepared a special live broadcast.

[Very clever to do two simultaneous live broadcasts ] I'm going to surprise them there.

Let me first get ready...

Ah, it's so sad here.

[Jimin's outfit is great. Wow. The ribbon is great too]

Can you hear me well?

[A good mix of informal and formal speech] Everyone, can you hear me well?

Our piggy~

The cake our piggy likes.

[I can be a pig too, Jimin. Oink, oink]

So excited.

[Discovered the candles] Huh?

[Contemplation]

There are 45 candles. 45.

Jin...

[How many...?] Should I put all of them?

If I put 26, then it's just a birthday cake.

[Who knew the number of candles would create worries] So...

How many years was he in school? Four years?

[Park Jimin, you are so cute] Should I put four?

[Is it true that apartments were destroyed everywhere because Park Jimin was so cute?]

Let's just put one.

[Discovered J-Hope]

[Hope appears]

- Oh! - Oh! What's this?

- Isn't that another tardy student? - He's here!

Congratulations on graduating~

[Glowing] - What's this? - Congratulations on graduating~

[Cheekbones about to explode] What? I just finished!

- To our Kim Seokjin. - Blow them out!

[Seokjin, congratulations on graduating] - Blow them out! - Congratulations on graduating~

[When it's Namjoon's graduation, we'll be online for it!]

5 Scary Stories - Duration: 21:08.

hey guys I'm always on the lookout for

stuff that'll scare the crap out of

myself and my listeners this week I

think I achieve that a little better

than I have previously but i'm sure

you'll all let me know enjoy under 10

years ago my grandfather was dying up

complications from Alzheimer's my little

sister gave him a white stuffed bear

with a pink heart on the stomach while

he was in a deathbed when you squeeze

the Barrett said I you in a pre-recorded

police he would constantly squeeze the

bear and the voice made him smile my

Grandpop had the bear has bad until he

passed away several days before he died

my mother made him promise that he would

somehow let us know that he made it to

the other side after he died we place

the bear on the mantel above the

fireplace the family gathered shortly

after his death to remember him just as

we all set down in the living room the

bear started speaking on its own i love

you i love you i have you ever do my

friend's father is a forest ranger who

also happens to be a competitive pistol

shooter like who can hit the most

targets the fastest that sort of things

so he is driving with his life and

they're playing car poker with a local

car club basically the group comes up

with objectives generally places to

drive to and you are awarded a card for

accomplishing them the goal of course it

could get the best hand all of these

objectives are completed over a weekend

and are done individually that is the

drivers go their own way this is not a

caravan so he and his life are driving

their convertible

I think it was a triumph along the back

roads of Western Washington they come

around a bend in the road and a large

pickup truck dragging a good size log

comes tearing out perpendicular to the

road so that the log is now blocking

their path putting the car in reverse

and looking behind in the husband sees

another truck doing the exact same thing

effectively boxing him and his life in

now each pickup bed is occupied by three

or four rednecks one of whom has a

shotgun one of the rednecks clearly the

leader jumps down from the bed and

walked over to the car

it was a nice day so the windows were

already down the redneck leader leaned

into the car and Lear's at the man's

life there's a5 looking we got there the

husband's pulse races being a

competitive shooter and a forest ranger

technically a peace officer the husband

carries a pistol under the seat of his

car and while the leader of the redneck

Bennett had walked to the car

the husband had slowly reached under his

seat and pull ups revolver concealing it

under the

legs as soon as he heard the leader

imply that these men were wondering if

his life he grabbed the reader by the

collar and put the pistol forehead you

will have your guys that Bobby or I will

blow your fucking hat the leader was

silent for a moment the calculations

running in his head he said you can get

all to which you replied sure but you

will beget self-preservation ruling the

days at a leader he motioned for the

front log to be moved the husband 0

forward slowly keeping hold of the

leaders color until he was clear of the

obstacle he made it past and got the

fuck out of their number three

I married my college sweetheart right

after we graduated after about a year it

wasn't going well and it seems like it

will be best for me to move out my

brother with a few years older than me

with on the other side of town where he

had a fairly large house he was actually

planning to move to another city and

staying there in a rented accommodation

most of the time he agreed that I could

stay in the house until I got myself

together or until he sold the house

whichever came first

his house was actually kind of run-down

he had been in the process of fixing it

up but he was so busy with his job but

he never really got that much done

I had plenty of time on my hands on

evenings and weekends so I volunteered

to do some fixing and decorating for him

over a period of a few months I've

repeated all the rooms fixed all the

wooden floors i even retail both the

bathrooms but in a new toilet shower etc

my brother paid for all the materials

but i did all the labor for free of

course the last room that I was doing

with the bedroom

it had a sort of built-in wardrobe

covered built into the wall

I decided to paint the inside of the

covered as well since the covered was a

dirty yellow with lots of black marks on

the walls i used the last of the white

paint to paint the inside and lock the

doors open for to dry that was my friday

night then I want event next day was a

Saturday and the last thing to do is

paint the walls of the room which

included a dark red lower half and a

cream upper half

there was a rail between them and it

didn't look as horrible as it sounds I

want to get the red paint from the

corridor or i have been using it touch

up a spot that I had missed and then

went back to the corridor to get the red

paint tray with the roller and brush in

it

I tripped as i entered the room and the

tray and roller fell on the floor the

floor was covered with the brush went

into the covered it has a wall leaving a

mark that looks like an elongated s with

a long line going straight down

underneath that now it was pissed

because I would have to repaint the

inside of the cupboard at least a couple

of coats to cover the dark red which

means i will have to go out and buy more

white paint

I pick up the brush and I started to

write shit using the elongated s4 the

initial letter eh

however gaming out looking more like an

a so instead I row Satan there was still

a long line of paint running vertically

under the s so I made that into the

vertical stroke of a que and roll kill I

thought nothing of it and then got on

with painting the rest of the room I

spent several hours painting the entire

room and by the time I was finished it

was dark and late

I was thinking and hungry i decided to

go downstairs to get some food and then

go to sleep as i was leaving the room

they can kill caught my eye and first

some reason I decided to write in orders

you to after Satan making the message

say Satan orders you to kill it didn't

seem important as i was planning on

painting over it anyway

first thing sunday morning I went out

and bought a double white paint when i

got back i paint over Satan order you to

kill but i can still read it through the

white paint and then started on the

second coat when i finished the room i

redid white roller over Satan order to

kill in the covered again but you could

still read it for the next week every

morning before i left for work I get

back from work and in the evening i

rolled over another layer of it i was

convinced that you could still read it

through the paint the next weekend my

brother came over and I showed him the

covered and asked him if he could see

anything through the paint

he said that he couldn't i was still

convinced that it was faintly visible I

told myself that it must be my mind

playing tricks on me and then I needed

to take the word for it never left just

to be sure i did add a few more layers

of paint over the next few days during

this time there are periodically people

who would come with the realtor to look

at the house

my brother was after all trying to sell

it

I do particularly remember one family

mother father teenage boy who spent ages

looking over the house one saturday in

this may or may not be the same family

that reappears later in the story soon

after i moved out and moved away to

another town got a new job ran into my

own place and my brother eventually sold

the house i met a new girl etc at

Christmas my brother invited me and my

girl over to his large apartment we want

to visit me with talking he tells me

that he is so glad that he got rid of

that help so that always gave him the

creeps

he then proceeded to ask me a fiver felt

creeped out there and I didn't but

here's the killer revelation the family

who bought the house the teenage son

killed his parents and hid their bodies

in a cupboard

number four when i was growing up i

lived in a rural Alabama about 30 miles

north of a place called Mount pinzon

there wasn't really anything around just

houses

nothing like a neighborhood in the

traditional sense no stores nothing we

had one police officer and he was pretty

friendly

he was my best friend uncle he would

often let us write around with him

because nothing really ever happened

there wasn't a recorded murder or

anything beyond someone being drunk in a

public nuisance

he didn't even arrest people for that he

just took them home

well we had this lady who was all alone

her husband had died a few years earlier

and she was lonely she called this cop

over everything

if some kids were in our yard playing

she called the cops saying she was being

harassed

she did it because she was lonely and

wanted company

no one could figure out why she just

wasn't nicer to the kids or anyone

around the neighborhood

one day there was a new kid kicking

around near this little spot we like to

hang out it had a nice and climbing tree

and a rope swing there wasn't any grass

just dirt

it was fun to kick the dirt up and stir

it up and get all dirty me my friend

being interested in this kid introduced

ourselves

he told us stories of living in a big

city and how much fun it was we were

mesmerised at a time he taught us some

new games to play and we all have fun

together but as father with a real prick

it turned out this kid was the mean old

lady's grandson and his father had lost

his job and went back to see with his

mother while he recuperated and stuff

since the kid was around she had warmed

up to us a little and we'll invite us

over for snacks and stuff we obliged

being kids we were always down for some

free treats one day the new kid never

showed up to our little spot so we

figured he was busy with his grandma are

doing something else a couple of days

went by and my friend told his uncle

about it is uncle ceddy take a look

he let us tag along because he never

imagined anything where would be

happening

it took about 10 minutes to make it the

winding dirt road in her house when we

finally out there he instructed us to

stay by the car we oblige him he knocks

no answer

the cars there he knock again this time

louder you then circled around a look in

the back my friend and i decided to try

knocking it didn't seem like a bad idea

at the time so we went up to the door

and knocked nothing my friend grabbed

the doorknob and turned it I looked at

him like what the hell are you doing and

he pushed the door open we both almost

threw up instantly

the smell was like a physical force that

pushed up against us

it was so vile my friends uncle made his

way around and when he got to the porch

unicorn smaller knew immediately what

was wrong he instructed us to go to the

car and wait

he went in and looked around and came

bowling back out of the house and threw

up

he had tears in his eyes not like he was

crying but just he was so upset he went

to his car to contact someone my friend

took off inside and I went after him he

was curious and so as I I felt a little

braver following him and we tiptoed in

the first room was completely clean

we went into the kitchen the kid was

stuffed into the oven burnt he had

clawed at the glass front of the door

and actually scratched it you could see

his hands his face it looked like he was

still alive trying to get out my friend

and I just SAT there in complete shock

for what seemed like an eternity it was

so surreal my friends uncle snapped back

to reality became running in the house

and grabbed us screaming and yelling is

to never disobey him again like that he

took us both outside and we just SAT

there the entire evening we didn't say a

word not to each other not to anyone

my friends uncle drop me off and I never

saw my friend again

his uncle so that he couldn't handle it

and you want to live with some family

members in the city

my family moved a year later and i've

never been near the health again number

five when I was a teenager I was waiting

at an abandoned gas station in downtown

akron to meet a dealer to buy some weed

this was in 93 or 94

so pay phones were still functional and

in pretty common use as i was waiting

the payphone in the parking lot reclaim

their in mind it was at about sunset on

the outskirts of downtown and not

another single person was around out of

curiosity I picked it up the man on the

other line asked is Chad my name isn't

chad so I said no the man ignored me and

said dad I want you to do bad things to

me i stated again that I wasn't Chad and

asked him what he wanted

if he knew where he was calling etc he

ignored me again and went into very

explicit and specific detail about all

the things he wanted Chad to beat him

sexually

I was laughing and told them again that

I wasn't Chad

finally he said he knew for sure I was

Chad and describe to me what channel

looked like he described me perfectly

down to the collar of my shirt and will

type of shoes i was wearing i

immediately hung up and looked around

there was nobody not one single person

around i got into my car and get the

fuck out of there if you have a scary

How YouTube Flagging Works & Common Misconceptions - Duration: 5:35.

today we're talking about flagging on

youtube flagging is actually probably

the most important part of YouTube I

have seen a lot of threads and tweets

that people just asking about Mass

flagging and a concept that if your video

gets multiple flags that results in a

takedown

I'm just gonna clear up some

misconceptions about flagging. Flagging

video results inside that you being

reported to YouTube's policy team change the

policy team reviews these videos that

have been flagged and determine if they

violate the community guidelines or not

it's actually really powerful tool

because every minute thousands of hours

of content gets uploaded to youtube and

while YouTube does a pretty good job

catching the bad seeds that slide

through the system there are some very

graphic and very bad content that

goes underneath the radar

that's not allowed on youtube and which is why

flagging exists. So the video is flagged and

it's determined that it doe break

the community guidelines it will either

age-restricted or taken down depending

on the severity and the type of

community guidelines its breaking that

leads me to the first point one of the

most frequent misconceptions I see

about flagging is that you get five

or ten or a hundred and a thousand

people to flag videos for the same

reason it will result inside a takedown

and that's just not true it doesn't

matter if you have 50 people find a

video or you find your video 50 times it

all goes to the same place and all

received the same treatment

and every single flag that goes through the

system now you're probably wondering

what happens if a video does get

accidentally taking down for violating

the community guidelines whenever it

really doesn't logo back at the end of

the video but it's a second type of

misconception that you want to talk

about the second point here is that you

can flag it was super concentrate and no

you cannot find a video for copyright

the only person who could flag video

work operating principle to be a

reupload video or unauthorized use of

songs something is the copyright holders

you cannot have to say for you to for

you we were 13 upload your video if you

send your audience apply to you or your

friends will find that video

it doesn't matter if it doesn't break

the community guidelines which does

great calculate not be removed that is a

fun a copyright order to submit a claim

if you are a cop right order and you see

where people are reopening your content

will be some helpful links in the

description below to help you

Paula claim on the pump and it's

bringing back to use to hear a huge

appearance was announced that number of

black here is currently in beta and one

of the biggest things that people were

freaking out about the fact that they

thought that youtube is giving people

advocate or moderation power youtube and

that's just not true and this leads me

into one of the biggest points i want to

talk about you two heroes his heroes was

announced back in September of last year

and it's currently it's not a beta for

one of the biggest things that people

are talking about was the usual was

giving access and Adam powers of

moderation powers to just regular people

who signed up for this program and

that's just not true you to peers is an

extension of the truck slider program

which I think was announcement 2010 or

so but not a similar program has been on

YouTube for this long and this has been

just changing up that program and

expanding it but it doesn't matter if

your video get slide from a youtube euro

or regular smoke

Joe or YouTube trust flagger attack

someone I even signed into google at the

flag video doesn't matter who came from

it all goes to the policy team and gets

all review by the same team

this because a video is reported from a

youtube hero or trust a fighter has no

wait if that video actually action or

not

now that's not to say that the system

isn't perfect there are scenarios where

because and even channels to get

terminated for Community Guidelines

violations with no violation exist at

all if this does happen to you and you

know for a fact that your video and

channel does not violate the community

guidelines there is if your process

which until now let me be the first to

say if you are feeling this is a very

timely process the field process can

take 24 they even six or more weeks

depending how many appeals have been

submitted to you to be patient you only

need to fill out the appeal for once and

YouTube will get back to you

they are reinstating your video or

channel or if they're keeping their

decision

hopefully this video shed some light on

the process and this is a very hot topic

right now people are appealing but

they're waiting weeks people believe

that their channel was mass flagged and

also taken down because with all these

people fighting their content

hopefully this does bring some

information to you guys about how the

process works a little bit more and that

yet no one has an enormous powers on

youtube apply a video one it gives you

to call the team and

you can be raised attractive ligers

regular people doesn't matter who it is

they do not have moderation powers on

you so i hope this video doesn't give

you a little bit more information about

some misconceptions about flagging you

are interested inside YouTube here i'll

leave the link in the description below

program currently available so you can

read up a little bit more about it

also if you want to see some more

constant formalities are clickable

annotations over here on the left and

right you want to check out some other

pilots youtube help and tricks i have a

great playlist of videos like these joy

that's always described you guys up next
