Waching daily Feb 23 2017

You weren't supposed to do that!

- Now we wake up! - Go, go, go, go!

Out! Out!

The Tuskers, in south London, England...

Use your feet and body!

..are a struggling women's volleyball team.

Just herding cats at the moment, trying to get

them all to do the same thing at the same time.

Coach Jonathan has guided the team for six years.

Now, with three matches remaining,

they face relegation from the London Premier League

after their worst season ever.

Ten losses, one win, with a few more games to go.

We are bottom of the league and we are facing relegation.

We keep losing it as a team,

like, one person will make a mistake

and then they can't pick themselves up,

then everyone is making mistakes

and there's just no energy on court.

Everyone's just, like, "Ugh, we're going to lose."

If we had a bit more opportunity to play together,

that would be good,

because we only get to train once a week.

Right now, it's not looking so good

but, I mean, we are here to change that.

The change the team hopes for

lies in the hands of a volleyball superstar.

The last time I was in London was just about four years ago

when I was here for the 2012 Olympic Games.

Danielle Scott-Arruda

is a double Olympic silver medallist,

and has an international volleyball career

spanning almost 20 years.

She has limited time to try and turn the Tuskers

into a winning team.

Having only one week to work with the girls

is a challenge within itself.

The Tuskers are aware that a Super Coach

is on the way to help them.

But until now, they've no idea who it might be.

Hi! Wow, so nice to finally see all of you guys.

I'm really happy to be here. I'm a five-time Olympian.

I'm here to help you be better and see what we can accomplish.

The Tuskers' all-important league match

is just five days away.

Danielle's keen to understand the team's strengths...

Yay!

..and their weaknesses.

Oh! Where is the coverage?

Nice.

The squad is made up of five different nationalities.

Usual rules, speak English only otherwise you're on press-ups.

But it's not only language

that's a barrier to communication.

Sorry.

With busy lives, the girls

rarely see each other off court...

I'm hot now.

..something Danielle believes could be affecting their play.

We need to spend enough time with the players

actually getting to know each other,

because if you know the person

who's next to you, you can trust them.

Ready?

This is when you have to dig deep. So what? It happens.

It happens. Everyone's going to get an ace,

and if you make an error... next ball.

And that's what we have to improve on with this team.

The first set that I saw, you had a couple of bad plays

and next thing you know everyone's to themselves.

No, you can... Like you did, you help her.

"Hey, you've got it."

You guys come together, come on, come together.

"Hey, you've got the next play." All right? Then go.

Five-times Olympian Danielle has seen enough for today.

Hey, ladies, that was a great practice, I like your energy,

I like your determination.

Great effort today. I'm really proud of you.

Look forward to working with you the rest of the week.

Go Tuskers!

- Thank you! - Good job, you guys.

We've got to... Oh, well done.

I already feel that we're going to turn up on Thursday as

a different team to how we would have if she hadn't come.

The Tuskers have been bottom of

the London Premier League for five months.

Their coach is hopeful she can turn things around

before Thursday's must-win match.

After seeing them the first day, I realised that,

OK, we have something we can work with.

We have some talented athletes, and a great coach.

It's not like I'm starting from ground zero.

It's day two, and Danielle

has asked the Tuskers to meet her in the park.

It's a bit windy this morning.

Yesterday in practice, she identified a need for better

communication, agility and trust between team-mates.

Today she's aiming to address these issues.

Should be fun.

A lot of time in volleyball,

you have to make quick reactions

and quick movements.

Good, good, good. You guys are so quick.

We're going to come here

and do some quick feet over the box.

Sort of stuff I should have told them before now.

Good job.

With the bands,

it's just a series of exercises for kind of prevention,

make sure that the muscles all around the shoulder is stable.

Wow, you've got great flexibility.

Maybe I'm doing something wrong?

No, no, that's good!

In volleyball and any sport, you have to be able to adjust.

You have to trust that the person next to you

is going to help you on that side, so great job, ladies.

Usually the Tuskers practise once a week.

Intensive daily training is all new to them.

Danielle is drawing up a game plan

for this evening's training session.

This is a design of the butterfly passing.

Passer to target, target catches the ball

and goes to server,

and do the same thing on the other side.

It's important to plan before you practise for the day.

On court, Danielle is making new demands of the Tuskers.

Let's see how this looks.

With the big match looming,

the Super Coach is upping the pace.

That's three balls in a row. Give me five sit-ups.

Down on your knees,

all kinds of funky stuff, was that necessary?

The pressure is higher than usual.

Everyone is feeling a bit more pumped up.

There's a ball in the back.

Danielle wants the players to know exactly where

they should be positioned during gameplay.

I'm already ready to go, that's too slow.

Faster?

The Olympian takes to the court to demonstrate

to the team precisely what she wants from them.

I'm going to need that a little higher,

I know I'm 43, but... and I will open up for you.

So we need that type of communication.

Hitters, with your setter, if you need it faster,

you have to receive it,

but you always have to have a plan B

if it's not what you expect,

be able to adjust.

Well, anyway, something like that.

It's amazing. When she does a couple of demonstrations

it's, like, so good.

Wow, it was exciting.

My first time I set a ball for an Olympic.

So, wow, was good.

Today was a good practice.

What do we think we did better today as a team?

Communication.

Right, what else?

Movement. I thought there was some really good...

People were throwing themselves on the floor to get the ball.

I agree with that and I think

I only saw two balls on your side fall.

That was awesome in this whole practice. OK.

Well done, team.

Go, Tuskers!

OK, let's stretch out.

They're much more heads up and smiley, yeah.

They're staying up and then

making sure everybody's helping each other.

She's picking up on specific stuff,

which is really helpful for everyone, I think,

stuff that we wouldn't normally notice and Jonathan

doesn't notice, so it's helpful, yeah.

We might have a tough game ahead of us on Thursday,

but all that kind of stuff,

knowing your team-mates, working together better,

even if they perhaps have some stronger players,

if we are playing better together as a team,

then that can make a massive difference.

It's the penultimate day.

One more practice session to go before

the league match the Tuskers must win to avoid relegation.

Before the team takes to the court

for their final practice session,

Danielle wants to talk tactics.

She's been studying their opponents' form.

So what I've found from their players,

number 16 seems to be their pretty outside, go-to player.

Number eight hit deep mostly

so let's cover our back court and be ready to move forward.

Number 17 is a target,

she wasn't the best passer,

especially if you serve to her right or left.

So let's get ready to practise!

Jonathan can see progress in the team's performance.

There's more confidence, they're talking a lot more,

as you can hear, all the shouting going on.

They're up for it. They are up for it.

There's some good hitting going on.

Danielle is focusing rigorously on the technique

and positioning of the hitters and the setter.

Go, go, go! You're late.

When it's already in her hands, you are already leaving.

So just as... Can you toss it for me?

Ready? Go.

So at that timing. Did that help?

- Yeah. - OK.

As this ball goes, start to cross. Go, go, go.

Yes, that's better. That feel a little better? OK.

For the last five days,

Danielle has employed a more demanding

training schedule than the Tuskers are used to.

It's been a pretty rigorous week,

a few extra practices,

so it's wearing on the girls a little bit.

But I think they're tough and they're determined

and we're going to make it work.

But the Olympian's intensive regime

has taken its toll on some.

The captain is in trouble.

It's like this bit is really stiff. So I cannot..

OK. Maybe you just sit out until tomorrow?

- Just rest, just rest. - You think?

We have a big game tomorrow, so...

OK, see how it feels and let me know.

And we'll take you out if we need to.

Kamila's not only the team's captain,

she's also the Tuskers' most experienced player.

Without her, the team will struggle

against tomorrow's opposition.

Kamila juggles volleyball

with taking care of her baby son, Ernest.

I'm still a full-time mum. So, mainly with him.

Um, what else? Volleyball.

I actually play two positions at the moment.

Middle or outside.

Both positions, middle and outside,

require players to block and smash at the net.

Well, I sort of got a bit bored playing middle,

so I asked Jonathan if I can try some other positions.

So I started playing outside as well.

Oh, Kamila. Nice hit.

Jonathan and Kamila co-founded the Tuskers women's team.

There was actually no ladies' team when I joined Tuskers.

They had only a men's team.

And because I really wanted to play

in the London League and competition,

I really wanted the team to be created,

and that's how it started.

We've been losing because

Tuskers need to train together much more.

I mean, training different tactics.

Women's volleyball team the Tuskers face the biggest match

of their career.

If they lose, they face relegation

from the London Premier League.

I'm excited and I'm feeling confident.

Everything, I think, is going to be perfect.

Feeling good, feeling excited.

Feeling I'm ready to see everything come together.

To add to the pressure, yesterday team captain Kamila

picked up a back injury during practice.

It's slightly better, but not much better unfortunately.

For six days, Danielle's taken over

from Tuskers regular coach, Jonathan.

Now she's handing the reins back to him.

Tonight's opponents, the Mallory Eagles,

are just one place above the Tuskers

at the bottom of the league.

They too have everything to play for.

The opposition have changed four or five of their players.

They're a better team than they were,

that's a Super Eight team out there.

Kamila, yes or no? It's a decision you've got to make.

Either you go or you can't go.

Do you want to start with me,

and if I can't do it, I'll tell you?

You'll let us know, OK.

- Is that all right? - Sounds good.

- So this is it, ladies. - Come on!

Look each other in the eyes, we can do this.

What we need to do is make sure

we're getting our arms over the net.

It seems like they are hitting the ball hard,

but it will go back just as hard.

Here we go, ladies.

- One, two, three... - Go, Tuskers!

From here on in, Danielle can only watch from the side-lines.

It's a best of five sets.

Inside, inside!

The opposition's Super Eight line-up

piles on the pressure from the start.

Are you OK to serve?

Change of setter.

- Go, Kamila! - Kamila returns to the court.

But clearly she's suffering.

Mallories two sets, Tuskers none.

Just got to keep going, heads up, keep going for your hits,

make sure they touch the ball last, OK?

Suddenly, it's a different story.

OK, team, we're winning! Let's go! Nice. On your toes.

Yeah!

But they are having to battle for every point.

Really push it now. Know who you're blocking.

A great close set, just need a streak of good serving here,

play some defence and... Yeah, just like that.

Not like that.

The Tuskers aren't going down without a battle.

The ball is out of the court.

And with it, the Tuskers are out of the league.

I am really frustrated

because I feel like we've put so much energy into it

and it just didn't happen.

I've watched all the other games this season,

and that was the best effort.

The best hitting, the best everything so far we've had.

That is a massive, massive improvement.

Brilliant play, brilliant. I am so happy on the inside.

I'm proud of them, I am. And I'm especially proud

that I had an opportunity to work with them.

Wow, it was an amazing chance to learn something new.

The one lesson I take out of this week, and experience,

is that volleyball is a team sport.

And that's obvious. Of course it is,

there are six people on the court. But up until now,

I don't think as a team we've appreciated what that meant.

We are becoming a family.

Just now, just started the whole process of, like, yes,

we should hang out more together

and we should do more things together.

Go, Tuskers!

Speculation and Valuation Move Penny Stock Prices - Duration: 3:43.

There are 2 things which drive the price of penny stocks, and they generally don't exist

together.

One is speculation, and the other is valuation.

WHEN YOU UNDERSTAND the true price drivers of a penny stock, you will know exactly how

to trade those shares for the most profit.

THE Purpose of a business is to make money.

Valuation is what prices are based on with most larger (and mature and successful) companies.

Valuation comes into play whenever the business attains the all-important proof of concept

phase, and starts generating revenues, and eventually earnings.

With most stocks, valuation is of greater importance than speculation, once the business

starts to make money.

However, on the other hand, speculation is what drives prices of most newer, and/or smaller

businesses.

What "might" a company do?

How big could they grow if their drug, or technology, or business model pays off?

This is the world where speculation drives the prices of tiny and unproven shares.

This is the world where penny stocks live.

For example, just look at some of the marijuana penny stocks out there right now.

They are being driven almost entirely by speculation.

Why else would a company which loses $10 M a year, has no revenues, five employees, and

is in debt by tens of millions more, be valued at half a billion dollars?

Why else would a flower bulb trade hands 7 times in a single day, increasing in price

with each transaction, at the height of the Dutch Tulip Bulb mania?

Why else would a couple satellite radio companies, with half a billion in debt, and tens of millions

in losses per month, be increasing in share price just because they intend to merge together?

If you remember the Sirius and XM merger, immediately after they combined, the shares

tanked massively, as I explained they would months before that.

That was because the way investors valued the shares switched from speculation to valuation.

Once the merger was achieved, people stopped being mesmerized by all the smoke and mirrors

unlimited potential of the company.

Instead, they took a look at the financial position of the company.

Rather than be focused on the event, they switched their focus to be on the company

itself... for the first time.

They didn't like what they saw.

If you want to see something nearly identical to that event playing out right now, in real

time, just take a look at most of these marijuana penny stocks right now.

Most are mathematically bankrupt, but their shares are soaring based on speculation, not

valuation.

Speculation rules in the early days of a company, but if they never make it to the valuation

phase, their shares will collapse.

Anyway, much of what I discussed here is about speculation.

And there's nothing wrong with it.

There are tremendous amounts of money to be made through speculation, especially in penny

stocks, assuming you get out before the game of hot potato stops.

Value investing doesn't work with most penny stocks, because many don't really have "value,"

in the conventional sense.

Speculation can lead to big gains and losses, with a lot of risk.

Valuation can result in smaller, but more sustainable and safer gains.

In penny stocks, getting a company early in the speculation phase, which then makes the

successful jump to the valuation phase, is the single-most lucrative method of trading

penny stocks.

Light color makeup by Yui Minakata|みなゆい風!色素薄い系メイク by ファッションモデル皆方由衣 - Duration: 9:36.

With only blue, the clearness of the eyes do not seem to come out

so I'm adding brown

Hello I'm Yui Minakata a.k.a. Minayui

This time it's Minayui style light color makeup

is the challenge

Usually the eyelashes are in black

but this time using colors like brown

to make a light colored makeup

Everyone please take a look

Let's go

The color contacts this time is Mega Milky Blue from Venus eyes

It's blue, but since it's milky blue, it gives a soft impression

Light color makeup means using this color

The base is RMK's makeup base

Since this time it's light color,

and I wanted the skin color to be white,

The base was added thoroughly

Elle creamy foundation from RMK

Taking more than usual to make it white

Next is concealer from Menard

The dark circles look pretty bad on this side so,

so I'm using this to cover it up

Tapping it in as usual

blending it in

Next is Cosme d'corte powder

Since I want to make it really white, I'm adding quite a lot to it

and since I want to add some to the neck, stretching it to the neck

Next is CanMake's slender eyebrow

The shape is the same as usual

trying not to have too much color on it

and applying it

The shape of the eyebrows are the same as usual

Making it level until the top part,

and going a little droopy from there

The length of going droopy will be short this time

As it is light color, I didn't want to show the brown so much

that is why I'm making it short this time

Next is the eyebrow color

Kate's natural ash. Pretty light color

Coloring the eyebrows thoroughly

Since I wanted pretty light

if I paint it against the hair, it will get a lot of colors on

so do it here and do it there to color it thoroughly

The eye shadow

#900 Accent from Anna Sui

It looks like either green or blue

I'm adding this all over the eyelid

It was a color I liked,

but I wanted to have a different color

but when I applied it, it seemed to match the light color makeup

so I chose this color this time

Next is Canmake Perfect Stylist Eyes Eye Shadow

Using the one in the middle, the glittery one

The L shape on the inner eyes

and adding some to the eye bags as well

I usually would add some color to the eye bags,

but I wanted to show the porcelain look,

so just adding this whitish light colored glitter only

Using the eyelash curler next

I wanted to blend in with the fake lashes, but don't want to make it concrete

so clamping about 2 times not to make it go up too much, but raising it up a bit with the curler

Coloring the eyelash with the one we used while ago, the KATE eyebrow color

Coloring the top and the bottom thoroughly

Trying to make the black part to disappear,

and applying it

Next is attaching the fake lashes

Cutting off 1 or 2 wad off the inner corner this time,

and attaching it

This is an Amu-chan series and it is originally pink brown color

that is why I chose this

This may be sold out already but,

there are other ones which are close to brown color, so

I think that could be used as a substitute as well.

The way to paste the fake lashes

I didn't want to raise the lashes too much

Attaching the fake lashes and pulling it down a little with your fingers,

and making the angle to face down a little

And again with KATE's eyebrow color,

trying to blend in the fake lashes over your original lashes and,

and adding some color to the fake lashes as well

Next is adding Artist Line's blue eyeliner

This one has glitter in it so it won't be too dark

so this is good

The way to pull the line is up to you

I don't like my eyes to be too droopy, so giving it a little bit of wing

and drawing like that

Next is the brown eyeliner from Love Liner

drawing over the blue color I added before

With only blue, it does give the porcelain look,

but it won't give that clear look of the eyes enough so,

so I'm adding the brown

Highlighter from Luna Sol

This highlighter has some glitter in it,]

but the biggest advantage is it is blu-ish purple color

so you can give the procelain look from your daily makeup

so mixing all three together and

adding to under the eyes, bridge of the nose and to the chin

Next is Canmake's secret color eyes' darkest color

using it as nose shadow

I wanted to make the skin whiter and made it that way,

but that made the features of the face weak and give a very weak impression

Usually I don't use nose shadow but

but this time to make the nose stand out, I'm applying along the nose and

adding some under the eyebrows

Adding it to the T zone right here to give it strong features

Next is the blush from Jill Stuart

It seemed to have been sold during summer time so it is blu-ish pink

so mixing this all up and adding to it under the eyes and where the nostrils criss cross

holding the brush sideways and applying it

Finally CanMake's Candy wrap lip is to be added

I really like this color and it matches with anything

since it was light color makeup this time, I was wondering which lipstick to use

Too dark lipsticks will make it look like too much healthy skin

but when I used this one, it blended in very well so I chose this one this time

The hairstyle this time

For me, light colored skin made me imagine using wigs that are light colored

so I chose a light colored wig

Since the dress had green in it, the wig may have a little green in it

Choosing that kind of color

Adding some pig tail on to a short wig

How was it everyone?

As it is light colored makeup, the color contacts are blue

which is milky blue color

The key to this makeup is using brown fake lashes

but I wanted to make it lighter so I used eyebrows mascara

and painted both the original and the fake lashes at the same time

coloring the bottom with eyebrows mascara to make it look light

to make it look like the color is originally light

I think you can try it out as well

so please try it out as well

bye
