This is Planet Adelpha with our 5 most important questions about "Second Contact."
Together with our fan community partners, we did an exciting Q&A session with the creators.
Here are Appeal's answers.
Video #7 - Q&A about the release-date, features and additions
#1 - When will Second Contact be released?
The creators confirmed that the release - which was initially planned for March 2017 -
has been postponed, as Appeal and their publisher BigBen decided to make additional improvements
in response to the Gamescon convention feedback.
Apart from the graphics, they are modernizing various gameplay aspects,
such as combat mechanics and new help systems that prevent the player from getting lost
in the huge amount of characters, locations, and quests.
This is exactly the kind of newcomer feature we had hoped for in our Outcast video #2!
Therefore, "OUTCAST - Second Contact" will officially be released in the fall of 2017.
#2 - Which new features will we get?
One of the top priorities in "Second Contact" is the new combat system.
Movementspeed is more dynamic and gun bullets are now significantly faster, which increases the feeling of control and power.
During gun fights, the camera angle now switches to an "over the shoulder" point of view, which makes it easier to aim.
Gamepad navigation and aiming assistance have also been readjusted.
Moreover, the enemy AI has been improved, which allows soldiers to evade and escape attacks more easily.
In the original game, they often got freeze-stuck in a hail of bullets.
Overall, the AI is now also faster, more mobile and more reactive than before.
#3 - Will there be a new intro sequence and new cutscenes?
For the first time, the creators officially confirmed that instead of the old CGI render-intro from 1999
there will be a completely new motion design animatic - a kind of animated artwork comic sequence.
While both voices and dialogue remain the same as in the original,
the music was re-recorded with a symphonic orchestra,
as the original synthesizer recording didn't fit as well with the rest of the soundtrack.
The other in-game cutscenes remain basically unchanged,
but they are being redone in the new Unity 5 engine in modern HD graphics.
#4 - Will there be a Collector's Edition?
At the moment, this is not 100% certain yet, but it is definitely in the pipeline.
In 1999, a great limited edition was already released for the German market,
which included bonus material and an Outcast t-shirt on top of the actual game.
Various options are currently being discussed, and if a Collector's Edition is in fact done,
it will primarily aim to please long lasting fans.
We would really love an official t-shirt of Cutter, as it was once planned during the Kickstarter campaign.
#5 - What about the sequel "Outcast 2"?
Again, we have great news for you:
Although "Second Contact" hasn't even been released yet,
they are already actively discussing and negotiating how to finance the sequel.
No contracts have been signed yet, but they are progressing very well towards
towards officially launching its development in the coming months.
This is the closest we've been to getting a sequel in the past 15 years!

with flowers. and today it is huge
great carnival parades
with participantion of dancers,
acrobates and musicians
about 20 flower platforms participate
in that parade usually
you can watch a parade sitting
on high tribune or just standing on a street
along which the procession moves
performing a couple of circles
but in my opinion
tribunes are for old people and family with small children
when you stand in first raw on the street
you become a participant
of all this crazy activity
preparation for every flower fight
is very hard work
all florists get flowers two days before the parade
during those two days they decorate platforms
which already constructed
90% of flowers are shipped
from local provencal farms
seedlings of roses, daisies, irises
and many others flowers
planted in advance in november
the star of these parades is mimosa
as a symbol of Nice and spring in Provence
but the results of such hard work
live just a couple of hours
in the end of every parade all platforms
will literally be taken apart
and all the flowers are thrown into hands of happy audience
everyone can go home with a bouquet of beautiful flowers
a size of which is dependent on ones agility
because a lot of people want to get a lot of flowers
during these parades
but real fights never happen there
and everyone can decorate their own home or just a room in a hotel
using deserved trophy
