Hello, just2good here,
and 2016 is almost over!
So, I though it would be nice to do an update video
for things I want to change on the just2good channel in 2017.
I have to say,
if you're going to leave the video now,
at least take the survey about what I should change
on this channel linked in the description.
Like, if that's all you're going to take from this video,
that is the most important thing to do.
Also, big apologies for this very static video of only one picture.
Secondly, I am sick.
I just caught the common cold with a sore throat
and running nose today and it hurts right now to speak.
This will be a huge factor into
whether or not you'll see a lot of videos within the next week.
As you can see,
some more LEGO news popped up like the Speed Champions pictures
and such and I did not cover it.
This was because it was much harder for me to talk earlier and I was resting.
Anyways, to the actual,
uh, updates.
As you may have noticed,
there have not been any list or countdowns for this month.
That is because I'm in a video burn out.
If you don't know what burnout means, basically,
I have the lack of motivation to do videos like reviews.
Like, at the start of the month I was incredible busy and I still am -
but I also lost the drive to make list videos at a rapid rate.
Actually, at the time of making this video,
I've lost the drive to make a lot of other videos as well,
like reviews.
I mean,
somedays I was pumping out three reviews and like four videos in total.
I'm not saying these are the hardest videos ever to make,
I'm just saying my will to make them are not there at the moment,
and it was probably because of that rapid rate.
Since I have so many sets to review,
my hope is to get the motivation back by next weekend,
and recover by then.
I move back to my location on Saturday so I have to do that all before then.
Because then I can pre-record a bunch of reviews
and drop them throughout next year up until spring.
I didn't pre-record a lot of stuff this week unfortunately
so I have very few things to put up.
Fortunately, I recorded the next list video,
I think a news video on something nobody has covered if I'm not mistaken,
and a little polybag review.
You may see these pop up in the next few days.
So, this whole burnout thing plays into what I'll be changing in 2017.
First off,
I'm going to be getting rid of the two lists a month schedule.
This worked so well for 12 months -
from December 2015 to November 2016.
However, I feel like towards the end, it just became a race to make the deadline.
And I hate it when it's like that.
Thus, some months in 2017,
I may have no lists,
though I doubt there will be many like that.
But heck,
looks like December 2016 will be one of those months.
Other months I may have three.
I work best without a schedule.
Well, I mean, the only schedule I don't mind is Throwback Thursday.
That's productive with myself as it motivates me
to open older sets and they're not hard at all to make usually,
since it's a lot of smaller ones.
But, with the lack of the list schedule,
I will no longer have a format of rotating
between informational and opinionated lists.
This is because informational list topics
are very hard to find for LEGO.
I don't want to resort to doing stuff
like biggest sets or most expensive sets,
those change so often and are so easy to find the answer to
I feel like it would be a cheap list.
However, this does not mean I will not do informational list videos anymore.
I do have some planned and they'll just come when they come.
There's also some things
I've been pondering on whether or not as my channel grows...
like, for example, using video game music.
Or even changing my sigfig from Twitch.
And some more minor stuff.
So, I need your help.
Like I mentioned in the start of the video,
I have a survey linked in the description hosted by Straw Poll.
It's annonymous and will really help if you guys take it.
Also, for those wondering,
