Annie Sloan's chalk paint
Total transformation
www.wackygoose.se
Hello!
I'm sitting right now on a
... on a bottom of a cabinet that I have
brought down to the workshop
There is a story in itself actually
that if you in this video think that I
look a bit weird when I paint
or if I bow down or
if I go around or anything so
you can know it's this cabinet's fault
I went and got this
an hour's drive away from here
and before I picked it up at
the gentleman that sold it
I asked him; 'Which floor are you living on?'
and when he replied that 'I live on the first floor, there are only a few steps up!'
I thought to myself 'Perfect', for it is a fairly large piece
But the thing was that the piece did not stand in his apartment
it actually was in his attic
... a small detail he failed to tell ...
And this wind supply was located at the 6th or 7th floor
with no lift!
Mm ...
Yes it's true...
And this, I found out when I arrived.
He was kind enough to help me carry it and I had a
friend with me, too, so
in the end it went well, but I can say that
my back feels like it does right now ...
Nothing that will not heal so there is no harm done as seen
but anyway...
Yes, and then when we carried this damn monstrosity then
it was also.......
... he was very proud of this cabinet ...
... it's from England ...
... he has not done anything with it, it's not painted or anything ..
It is quite nice as it is, but again - it's not really my style
not to paint things so I think
actually I will give this a go as well
But it is in very good condition
and so when we carried it down the stairs so
of course(!!!)
it may happened that I smash one of the glass panes on the side
I actually thought he was going to cry when he realized what I had done!
But, uh ...
Well, things happens, simply...
So, I think that I will show how the cabinet looks and
it looks like this:
As it stands now
Well, you can see that it is in two parts
It's really beautiful details of this cabinet
I think that I'll highlight them later
Well, you see
This is a very beautiful cabinet
really!
I personally think it will be even more beautiful when it gets a little paint on top
I have picked out all the glass panels
except to these
for they are inside the shelves and stuff so
they will remain
And what I can not get away out of the glass,
I will just paint freehand, I will not
use masking tape
for this color is very easy to get away from the glass
when one has not sealed the paint
it's just kind of scratching
and you get to be a little careful just so that you do not
scratch the glass when you scrape off the paint...
So I will actually allow it to be retained
Inside, I paint in one color
and the outside will get a completely different color
I think actually that
I'll paint the inside with a color
that 'pops' and then
I will paint the outside a bit duller
It is my plan
and usually I always like to paint the interior brighter
but in this cabinet thought I actually do the opposite
the inside will get darker than the outside
And I think it will be .......
because there is so much glass around
it's glass from the sides here too
that I have picked out now
I think actually that you can earn a little on having it dark inside
Moreover, this gentleman was so into the bench happy that he had
insert lighting in this cabinet
Therefore, I think there is also 'more allowed' to
getting dark inside as well, it will probably
just give this cabinet a very nice touch!
Do not forget to seal the paint!

When a Workaway Goes Wrong // Tulum & Playa del Carmen, Mexico (S4E16) - Duration: 5:02.
Someone brought us a little further...
I hope luck will be on our side!
So Maya is smiling and looking cute...
I hope we will get a ride soon!
Just like in the postcards!
The white sand...
It is so beautiful... Looks like a bunch of salt!
We have arrived in Playa del Carmen.
Frankly we are a bit terrified.
Man there are lots of shops everywhere...
Like we just saw a Starbucks... and it's just...like ugh... no.
Yep, we are in Playa del Carmen.
Many people told us it was full of sh*t here, honestly... it is a touristic city on the side of the sea.
The irony of all this is that came here to get some sun and swim in the sea,
but it's raining...
Friends! We are walking towards the sea...
Well prepared with a beer!
Yes, Gab wanted his beer... at the sea.
Look at this!
We rushed across Mexico because we had a super cool job waiting for us here...
It stinks here... It smells like rotten things...
And apparently they expect us to live here for a month...

What Are Healthy Acceptable Snacks? - Duration: 2:40.
In today's lesson you will learn about acceptable snacks.
I am going to say that throughout a normal day you have the urge to snack.
I truly believe that snacking throughout a day is a big no no when it comes to dieting.
This principle of snacking or binge eating allows your body to feel full and lets you
completely neglect your Powerful Core Food Plan meal.
If you are eating every 4 hours as the plan describes, you will have no urge to snack.
The meals designed in this course are meant to help your body cope with the transition.
They incorporate all of the necessary Macros that your body needs to meet your daily nutrient
goals.
However, I have been in the position where I need something to calm my cravings.
For example, sometimes I have these serious cravings for salt or chocolate.
In my case, it is almost impossible to get over the craving.
So what I do is give myself a little tiny portion of the desired craving.
This way I am not depriving myself of something that I want.
Although this is almost considered a cheat, there is more appropriate ways to snack if
necessary.
Here are some examples of possible snacks that you may incorporate into your diet if
100% necessary to overall well being.
Homemade trail mix that is made up of a variety of organic nuts and low calorie pretzels.
One whole cut apple with one tablespoon of peanut butter
One whole graham cracker split into two with Peanut butter spread on top.
Greek Yogurt topped with raspberries Wheat thins and cottage cheese
5 whole wheat, Regular Sized Pretzels
There are ton of different options for snacks if you are in a position where you need them.
I do, however, suggest that you stick to your designated meal plan.
Make sure that you are changing it up from time to time, too, so that you do not get
sick of eating the same foods.
When you eat the same foods constantly, you start to find reasons not to eat them.
After eating the same breakfast every single day for 6 months, I finally started changing
it up.
You will find some foods that you love and some that you hate.
Make sure that you are not forcing yourself to eat foods you do not like.
If you are doing that, it gives you more reasons to quit the diet.
I highly recommend that if this is an issue that you contact us so that we are able to
assist you with your plan!
We are truly devoted to transforming your life one step at a time, so don't hesitate
if you're having some serious trouble.
Below we have attached a formal list of acceptable snacks.
You have successfully completed lesson 12.
We look forward to seeing you in the next lesson to come!

The Boss Baby - Review (Spoiler Free) - Duration: 8:01.
The Boss Baby... You know, as this one drew closer,
I realized it was giving me the same vibes that many older DreamWorks films gave me.
You know, the ones from a decade ago, like Bee Movie or Shark Tale,
where it feels like the concept went awry pretty early in development,
but they kept at it in the hope it would come together.
I'm prolonging getting down to it, let's just jump on in.
Things start out simply enough, with a seven-year-old kid, Tim,
happily using his imagination to make every day an adventure,
and adoring the utter devotion his parents give him.
Things change with the arrival of a new baby brother.
With his parents at the whim of this baby's every need, Tim starts to feel neglected.
Of course, that's leaving out the wacky elements, to say the least.
The baby is dressed like a businessman, and speaks in the gruff voice of Alec Baldwin.
Turns out he's one of a fraction of babies that, rather then sent to a family, is reserved for upper management.
But with babies not getting enough love due to, ahem, puppies,
the boss baby has been sent undercover to Tim's family.
Eventually, Tim agrees to help the boss baby with his mission,
as that means Tim can go back to the delightful life as an only-child he once had.
Before I start with all the points I'm bursting to make, I should point out that it is more comprehensible
then my description, and the ad campaign, makes it seem.
Many of us animation fans had been dreading this one for the longest time.
To break the ice, The Boss Baby is basically stuck in a place of reception that it can't get unstuck from.
Namely, a place where's it's surprisingly sincere and funny and perfectly painless to sit through,
and not nearly the horror show it looked like it was going to be,
but also kind of shallow and too caught up in its meaning at times and ultimately kind of tasteless.
It is, in short, a perfectly serviceable, average, DreamWorks film.
Normally, these don't produce much to discuss, but Boss Baby is quite the opposite.
As I mentioned before, a lot of the film directly takes place in Tim's imagination.
And it seems clear at first that Tim is just imagining all the wacky elements regarding his new baby brother.
It can be seen in the trailer. When Tim chases his brother,
what appears to be a high-speed chase is shown to actually be at a snail's pace.
But as it goes on, the film gets so involved in this concept of "Tim's imagining everything"
that it gets nigh-on impossible to know what's real and what's not.
It could certainly be argued that this is intentional,
and it's supposed to be an Inception-type idea where it doesn't ultimately matter.
But I don't think so, somehow. Basically, the concept of it all being imaginary
doesn't end up having enough to sustain 87 minutes, or at least not the way it's done here.
Now, this is all just conceptual analysis, and it doesn't matter much if the flick is funny, right?
Well, humour is subjective. The film looked to underperform for ages,
and then comes out of the gate with a $50 million opening.
Some of that's due to the long break since Lego Batman came out, of course,
but I'm convinced a decent chunk came from adults and parents who felt Alec Baldwin's character here
was a natural extension on the same shtick he did in 30 Rock,
or the wild stuff he's been doing impersonating another boss baby,
in a manner of speaking, on Saturday Night Live.
And really, it's exactly what'd you expect.
A fair amount of laughs, but just as often it zips from joke to joke and they just kind of hang there.
The adult jokes that got a laugh at my screening were the occasional work-related gag.
Otherwise, not a lot of reactions,
though the film is plenty referential to Baldwin's various roles, for what it's worth.
And one lengthy spoof sequence pulled off the act of being protracted enough to go back to being funny.
I always appreciate that.
Most of the other humor is toilet humor, naturally. And sure, given how prominent babies are,
that's just documentary realism, just the same way having young 20's males
being obsessed with, ah, "male tools", is in most modern R-rated comedies.
And there isn't nearly as much toilet humour as you'd expect, so there's that.
Aside from any of that, some of the messages are questionable.
The film never makes it clear
that what the babies misinterpret as love being too scarce to go around is just attention.
It just jumps to that conclusion later
and we the audience sort of realise in a jumble that it expects us to have done so too.
More so, it suggests a reality of working in a cubicle literally from conception to eternity.
And of course many people work in cubicles for decades, but can you imagine doing that from birth?
If, you know, you had he capability to do so. These are minor things, but they sure leapt out at me.
As regards the animation, the DreamWorks artists continue to showcase their talent as best they can.
Given there's every chance their budgets
will get financially downscaled with their future films under Universal,
this could be the last $100-million-plus feature of theirs for a while.
And while it doesn't have the splendid design, ambitious directing or tactile textures of Trolls,
there's plenty here for my tastes.
In particular, I quite like the vaguely retro-inspired design of the characters and buildings,
with the babies and Tim especially having old-school cartoon design
mixed with one of DreamWorks' more notable uses of anime eyes.
I can't really label any of this as overtly ambitious, but the artists totally deserve recognition for it.
And that's not even touching upon Tim's imagination sequences throughout,
which the ads have shown basically nothing of.
They're all very bold with shapes and colours, with large chunks of them succeeding
in the often-failed mission with big studio animation
of actually getting the concept art you see in the "Art Of" books on the screen
And it makes sense narratively, given how imaginative Tim is.
None of this is really enough to actively improve the film more then a notch or two,
but if you have the choice of a flick with poor visuals, or a flick with these visuals, is that even a choice?
It should be noted that the second half goes way off the rails, as once the duo start on the mission,
it's just a chaotic zip from one chase scene to another
with occasional forced sentiment like we get in so many animated flicks.
Except here it seems even worse, as it's almost a betrayal
of the more reserved thematic focus for the first half.
And when it does settle back into that better mode,
it's for a denouement that has to be one of the longest and most drawn-out in recent animated memory.
It was very nearly 10 whole minutes, and with barely half that in content.
Which is a roundabout way of saying whatever goodwill the film had fostered for me
sizzled up in the back half somewhat.
Again, I don't want to sound too hard.
There was quite a fair share of moments at my screening that had kids and parents chuckling alike,
which I view as a good sign, and parents will like it on the grounds of the messages it imparts at the end,
if they can help their child filter out the bad ones I mentioned earlier.
And hey, there's something to be said
for getting another animated film that could be a head object among the right age group.
I think one reason most recent big-studio animated films have been profitable
has to do with our modern film culture.
Used to be that there would be a fair share of live-action family films still suitable for young kids.
But so many films have been roughed up so they get a PG-13 rating and don't seem childish,
that true family options when your kids are under ten are limited outside of animated films.
So the last few DreamWorks films – Home, Trolls and this -
have, for better or for worse, being somewhat more child-geared then their past offerings,
which is kind of reminiscent of the direction Jeffery Katzenberg
wanted to push Disney Animation into back in the late 80's and early 90's.
And yet there's no denying there's nearly as much, maybe more, adult-geared humor in this one then child humor.
Given how it wasn't nearly as bad as I'd been anticipating,
I can't really be too mad at any mistakes this flick makes,
even if I can't really muster up much enthusiasm for it either.
Alec Baldwin does the kind of wild turn adults will remember fondly,
and the rest of the small cast does a fine job.
The Boss Baby basically has such a mix of good,
average and annoying elements that it ends up being serviceable despite the wild fluctuation.
People will see it, a few will love it, some will hate it, a fair few will enjoy and defend it,
and many of us will just shrug and forget about it.
And with two months till the next animated feature – till three of them, at least in America –
this'll have to do for Easter.

It's nothing, I thought to myself.
The truth is, I want to stop those footsteps for a moment,
But you're gliding forward with such quick steps
That I simply watch.
On the last train, you board, leaving me behind,
Gliding away. Slowly, the ground slides away.
I shouldn't cry. I shouldn't cry.
But the truth is, I want to say out loud,
"Don't go."
It fades out of sight, far far away, leaving me behind.
Now I can't quite see it anymore. The night crumbles apart.
I shouldn't cry. I shouldn't cry.
But the truth is, I want to say out loud,
"Don't go."
When the festival is over, everything'll be the same.
The same night as ever would come, I knew that.
But you looked so much more alluring than usual
That I simply watched.
Time alone is passing, carrying me along.
The way home is dark, but I guess I'll be okay by myself.
The street lamp shines on me, making a shadow.
All alone.
It fades out of sight, far far away, leaving me behind
Completely. Once again, the night spreads itself out.
I shouldn't cry. I shouldn't cry.
But the truth is, I want to say out loud,

Loadout Essentials: Kydex - Duration: 2:56.
welcome to the first part in our loadout
essentials series designed to help newer
players make informed choices about what
to utilize on their mag-fed paintball
kits. Today we'll be discussing kydex
holsters and mag holders.
What is kydex?
Kydex is a type of plastic which
is easy to mold when heated yet retains
its shape a scratch resistant waterproof
and has lower friction than leather.
Initially develop for aircraft interiors
kydex has more recently become the
modern replacement for leather and
holsters and sheaths. So why should you
consider kydex? Kydex can be used to hold
your items in place with a very slim and
smooth profile. This will ensure that as
you move through small spaces or even
through the woods that your holsters do
not catch on anything you happen to rub
against. with kydex it's very easy to
adjust the retention level of your items
being held. Some heavier items require a
lot more force to keep them in place and
sometimes you want items to glide out
quickly. A heat gun makes adjusting
retention yourself at home very quick
and easy. In my opinion the top reason to
consider using kydex is a huge array of
different mounting solutions. With the
retention being adjustable, mag holders
can be mounted upside down and in places
that other pouches simply cannot go
here's my current primary holster made
by Bear Tactical Kydex on a Blackhawk
jacket slot duty belt loop allowing my TIPX
to sit at a more comfortable position
when compared to a drop leg or simple
belt mount. It is typical for most
holster makers to include a pair of
MALICE clips with their holsters for
attaching holsters to most belt and
MOLLE platforms. Bear Tactical goes one
step further and also provides these
belt clips for a sturdier mount and crafts
their holsters with adjustable ride
height.
Now kydex is not for everyone and
prices and quality of craftsmanship vary
greatly I highly recommend new players
consider investing in a holster for
their pistols I've lost count of how
many players have lost their pistols out
of cloth holsters over the years and
kydex is a very simple solution.
If you're in the market for a kydex
accessory follow the link in the
description to Bear Tactical Kydex's
Facebook page and send them a message to
get the process started.
