Now some of you guys may remember Tomi Lahren from facebook
or twitter, but in short she's a white chick who got famous
for spouting hate speech on a political website called The Blaze.
Which was founded by a guy named Glenn Beck. If you don't know Glenn Beck
He got really big at the beginning of Obama's presidency.
for calling him things like a racist, saying [Obama} has a deep seeded hatred for white people
That he's even the devil.
So that's who tomi lahren was working for.
Now you may remember that Tomi was suspended for
saying she was pro-choice on the view.
Later she was fired.
Well, now she's at war with Glenn Beck and the Blaze
That's the facebook page that made her famous
She's at war, and that war started when she appeared on the view
and she said that she was pro choice.
which made members of this ultra conservative website
very angry
She says Glenn Beck and the
company made her life a living hell after that moment.
First suspending her, then later firing her.
You may remember, the lawsuit says that glenn beck and his company
tried to ruin her career by a clear attempt to embarrass her.
humiliate her, undermine her and her audience
on social media and everywhere else.
she has career prospects but, she's suing
because she's playing the victim and the victim card
is the best way to get the furthest the fastest.
Here's the thing. Tomi has been fighting with the blaze
over her facebook account which has over 4 million followers.
She says she owns the facebook acocunt
The blaze said "no you don't"
"We own that. You're just the face of it."
So that's a little fuzzy because her name is actually on it
She wants to be able to take those 4 million followers
and use that as a thing that's going to market her to her next opportunity.
I see why you'd want to take your millions of minions to the next place.
But the Blaze says she did not read the fine print. She says
Glenn Beck is known for berating her,
around the set... belittling her, acting very condescending
which is not very hard
to believe if you've seen anything from Glenn Beck, particularly
when Obama was president. AGAIN.
She says he is heavy handed in her treatment of her.
Shes using all of that as a way to make her case.
This is what the blaze said in response to that.
Now that's very interesting because if you look at those two things, you can see that
The blaze is playing chess.
They know all the legalities of things. They're using their words carefully.
In order to try to dismantle any case she may have.
This is something you should know: Tomi Lahren is a creation of the FAULT RIGHT MOVEMENT.
That ugly group that has these sentiments that grew out of the Trump Campaign.
She was regularly applauded for sharing sentiments that
are just downright dangerous
She said things like BLM is a hate group.
But on Trever Noa's show (the Daily Show) she could not even bring herself to criticize the KKK.
Tomi: What did the KKK do?
Trevor: That is not -- look... we'll go around in circles ---
Trevor: Did you say what did the KKK do?!!?
WOW
Now, she is proudly politically incorrect.
which is often a buzzword for open hate speech.
in the context of the world we now live in
it's not a suprise that hate crimes went UP after trump was elected.
Was she just a talking head reading a teleprompter?
And was simply tapping into that fake outrage to get more followers on social media?
It's lucrative but not likely.
either way, here's what tomi was ultimately fired for, take a look.
"I'm pro choice, I'm a constitutional --- someone that loves the constitution
I am someone that's for limited government
so I can't sit here and be a hypocrite and say "I'm for limited government
but I think the Government should decide what women should do with their bodies."
I can sit here and say that as a republican. and I can say
"you know what, I'm for limited governemnt
So stay out of my guns and you can stay out of my body as well.
I agree with what she said about being pro choice.
as well as her rationale.
I'm not a conservative but I can see how she would come to that conclusion
This is the only authentic moment in this interview for her.
That's the one that she got fired for.
It speaks to the risks you take when you
She should be allowed to be conservative
and pro choice.
Was she right for calling conservatives hypocrites after that?
YES. YES SHE WAS.
You can't make arguments for small government and individual liberty
while telling women what they can and can't do with their bodies.
That being said, I find it funny that as soon as she speaks for herself
she's eaten alive by the same hate machine that made her a star.
To me, that is poetic justice.
But that's just my opinion.
