KIC 8462852 Boyajian's Star Update For 04/11/17 - Duration: 3:50.
This is an update in my continuing coverage of KIC 8462852 or Boyajian's star for April
11, 2017.
For the extensive backstory on this star see my other video updates on this channel.
One does not often have to do double takes when reading scientific papers, they are what
they are, but occasionally they throw you a curve ball.
Now, before I get into the details of this paper, I want to caution that I really don't
think this is going to turn out to be anything.
But nevertheless add yet another odd chapter to the story of Boyajian's star.
In a paper released today by Nathaniel Tellis and Geoffrey Marcy, link in the description
below, they detail a search they conducted of 5600 nearby stars thought to be suitable
for alien civilizations to develop.
Specifically, they were searching for laser emissions from those stars, whether intentional
or accidental, that could only be of artificial origin.
Out of those 5600 stars, they found no convincing detections.
While this does not rule out civilizations that could be present at those stars, it does
further bolster the idea that the answer to the Fermi Paradox is simply that while the
universe may be teeming with simple life, it gets orders of magnitude more difficult
for life to evolve to a state of high intelligence.
And even if intelligent life does evolve on a planet, the conditions have to be just so
for a technological civilization to arise.
In their search, the scientists came up with 5023 potential detections that they considered
to be false positives.
They divided these into three categories, ones created by defects in the equipment,
ones created by cosmic rays or other particles striking the detectors, and lastly actual
detections either coming from the target stars or from some earthly source.
However, they found several unusual cases, including a case of unexplained strange laser
light coming from an unknown source on earth.
But at the top of the list of interesting candidate detections of potential laser light
just happens to be ... you guessed it, KIC 8462852.
Now, I'm not an astronomer and I'm still waiting to see if anyone disputes the explanation
given in the paper for it being a false positive, if that happens I will drop everything and
make a video.
But it seems highly likely that the detection was indeed false and it's merely a coincidence
that it happened to come from that star.
But with all of the accumulated weirdness surrounding this star, more weirdness entering
the mix does raise an eyebrow.
It all stems from a saturated pixel.
How that pixel became saturated, the researchers note, is inconsistent with monochromatic light.
In the paper they do a comparison between an artificial light source and the detection
and rule out light entering the telescope as the culprit.
But there's some ambiguity there too, if the saturation was due to a cosmic ray, it's not
clear how it did it to produce the effect, so all you can say is that it was probably
a cosmic ray.
Still though, the way the KIC 8462852 section in this paper is worded, and given the controversy
around the star, we may not have heard the last about this event.
We shall see.
Thanks for listening!

Training Mode Features that you might have missed - Brawlhalla guide - Duration: 10:23.
1.
You can pause the game in training mode using f7 and go backwards a single frame by pressing
f5, you can do this multiple times all the way until the beginning of when you entered
the training mode session.
After you go back a few frames, you can then use f6 to go forward as well.
And when you're done press f7 to unpause.
When you press f7 after rewinding for a while, it will play out all the actions that you
reversed until the latest frame.
If you want to do it on controllers then it would be when you press down both of your
analog or joystick, that would act as f7.
Then f5 would be your left analog and f6 would be your right analog.
If your controller doesn't have two analogs or joysticks, then you probably have to use
your keyboard in that case.
Like most fighting games, brawlhalla runs on 60 frames per second, that's why we can
go frame by frame like this.
This feature is really useful especially if you use it with the training mode options
on the top left and turn on show hitboxes, hurtboxes and stun.
You can do an attack and then pause and go back to see exactly how big the hitboxes are
and how many frames the attack is in total and all that frame data stuff.
This feature is actually shown when you click on power viewers, it'll be on the bottom
left but it's not that easy to notice since there's a lot of things in the power viewer
so it's easy to miss.
A lot of people always ask me how to do it so here it is.
And it also works in replays.
Something else you can do instead of just watching your previous actions using the pause
feature is being able to input actions while you pause so that when you go forward a frame,
that input will activate, giving you the power to frame perfect every input in slow motion.
And if you mess up the input then you can simply rewind to the frames before you did
the input and then just enter another input and it will replace the previous input.
A lot of people have been pretty angry about their favorite combos not being true anymore,
meaning they have dodge windows when they previously didn't because season 4 patch
destroyed it.
While some combos are gone, a lot of them still exist and you can check it by using
this frame by frame input.
So for example when I do the sword down light to side air normally, I see dodge windows
a lot so I might be tempted to think it's no longer a true combo.
But then I check it with frame perfect inputs using the pause feature and I notice that
it's actually a true combo when you do it fast enough.
Using this feature, you can check to see if your favorite combos are still true or you
can be one of those people who uses training mode to create new strings and combos that
does 900 by hitting 300 times and then post it to reddit to upvotes.
Something else you can do with this but is rarely done because it takes a lot of effort
is setting up a situation that you want to be in when it requires the bot to do certain
actions.
For example, if you want the bot to jump away from your side light and then punish you by
using katars down air.
You start by using a side light, then you pause, change it so that you control the bot
using the bot settings in training options, then rewind.
You have to rewind after you change control if you plan to rewind at all because if you
input actions first before rewinding, then training mode will undo them when you rewind
for some reason.
After you rewind, jump into down air on the bot . When it's all done, just rewind all
the way back to where you want it to start, un pause and then you get the clip you want,
maybe for your next youtube video or just recreating a scenario you encountered.
You could tweak the situation to see what other actions you could've done that would
be better and then rewind and try it out.
You can change back and forth like this as much as you want to the point where you can
play out an entire stock as if it was an actual game, it gets tedious though so most players
don't bother to do it.
I only really do this for video clips.
When you turn on show stun, it's pretty obvious that the enemy turns into a bright
light color when they're stunned but what's not obvious is that you flash two different
colors really quickly after you finish your attacks.
These colors don't make sense at first glance because they happen after you finish your
attack and even after your recovery frames and obviously you're not stunned after your
recovery frames.
It turns out that there's two colors.
The first one is a white color and it indicates that your attack just finished so you can
start doing things like jump, attack or walk around.
The second one is the indicator that you can start using the attack you just used because
most attacks have cool downs to prevent you from using the same move twice in a row too
quickly.
They both last for exactly 6 frames which is probably just so you can notice them better
since less than that would be a very small amount of time.
Less than 1/10th of a second.
Something else that's not explained very well with show stun is the dodge windows.
I don't know about you but when I first saw the dodge windows, I thought that showed
how many frames the enemy bot wasn't stunned for in between hits.
But it actually is how many frames the bot is not stunned for minus 2.
So if the bot wasn't stunned for 7 frames in between, it would show up as 5.
The reason they do this is because dodge has 2 start up frames where you're not invulnerable.
It's really hard to see unless you go frame by frame though.
So if you did two moves in a row and the enemy had 2 non-stunned frames, they could press
the dodge button on frame 1 and the dodge would try to activate for 2 frames but fail
because it would only have 1 frame left for the start up so they would be hit before their
invulnerability frames activate.
That's why the dodge window is number of non-stunned frames minus 2.
So in most cases, the combo is true if the dodge window doesn't show up.
The only exceptions are when the enemy dodges in a certain direction, and the 2 frame start
up would then move them a tiny bit, and in some cases such as bow side light into down
light, that would be enough to move out of the range of the hitbox and escape the combo,
making it only a semi true combo.
And now I explain how the mysterious powers viewer works.
Each move has start up frames, which is the wind up to the attack, the active frames,
the attack itself, and the recovery frames which is a wind down time after the attack,
meaning you're basically stunned.
In power viewer, if you pause during the attack, it will show you the startup frames which
is accurate most of the time because signatures don't show start up frames and sometimes
start up frames shows up as active frames.
Then there is the active frames which when active has a white outline around the box
and shows you a set amount of frames representing consecutive hitboxes in the same area.
If it moves, or has inactive frames in between, it creates a new box for that set of frames.
This is also accurate only most of the time because active frames sometimes doesn't
have hitboxes for some odd reason.
Then there's recovery frames which only shows up on the right side of the screen and
is not a straight up count of recovery frames but instead is a mix of fixed and variable
recovery.
The fixed recovery is an amount of recovery frames that everyone has on the particular
move regardless of dexterity.
Then there's just recovery which is variable because it's different for each dexterity
on each move and is not straight forward because it uses some kind of formula that you plug
the dexterity into.
It usually ends up a bit less than what it shows.
So in the end, you can only count the recovery frames yourself and the number on the right
can only give you an estimate unless you know the formula which I don't know.
Although, if it only has fixed recovery and 0 variable recovery then it will be the same
across all dexterity.
This only happens for signatures since every signature is unique and also throws because
they decided that all throw speeds should be equal regardless of dexterity.
And now pretty much the only part of the power viewers that you can consistently rely on,
the damage and force.
The base damage is the damage that would happen if the attacker had the same strength as the
victim does defense.
Like 5 strength to 5 defense or 6 strength to 6 defense.
If the attacker has more strength than the victim has defense then the damage would be
greater and vice versa.
The variable force explanation is a bit oddly worded because it sounds like it's affected
by the user's strength the most when it actually is barely affected by strength and
is 99% affected based on the damage of the victim.
For example, bow neutral light has 45 variable force, at 0 damage, it doesn't push the
enemy very far.
But at 700 damage, it sends the enemy flying at the speed of light.
Bow side light has zero variable force so at 0 damage, it doesn't push the enemy very
far, and at 700 damage, it pushes the enemy as much as it would if they had 0 damage.
So when you see a move with high variable force, you can tell that it is a good kill
move, if it has 0 damage, it won't ever kill but can probably combo or string at any
damage.
The fixed force is a force that is the same at all strength and damages.
The easiest way to think about it is that it's the push back distance when you use
an attack on an enemy at 0 damage because at that point, variable force doesn't affect
the push back distance.
That push back will then be added onto by variable force at higher damages.
So in general, this force isn't nearly as important as variable force at higher damages.
The cooldown, as I mentioned earlier is how long it takes after you finish an attack before
you can use the same attack again, this is a fixed number and is pretty accurate for
every move.
And finally the stun time, it accurately shows the stun duration of the enemy but only at
zero damage because it seems to be affected by the variable force, if the move has variable
force that pushes the enemy farther back at higher damages, then the stun duration will
increase as well but the power viewer does not show that increase.
For moves with multiple hits, the stun time of the last hit is the one that will count
from that point on, it does not add on to each other, the last hit simply determines
the stun duration.

Seoul South Korea | Best City Attractions - Duration: 10:58.
I just came around the corner,
and there's a bunch of people
mounting...what the?
It's ..they're..It's a human centipede, Bro
But dude. They're sucking on wangs
and pants out.
Ok, I guess this is where we take a
family photo. Weird.
What's up, Vagabuddies?
Welcome back to the channel.
Right now we are in Seoul, South Korea,
and we have a pretty fun day planned.
What are we going to get into here?
It's our first full day of exploring Seoul,
and we started off by walking along
the city walls, which have protected
the city for 600 years.
It's over two thousand years old,
and there's tons of culture.
We're going to start off by going to
the traditional part of town and
diving in to Korean traditional culture.
Let's go.
It's a beautiful, crisp, cold morning here
in Seoul, but honestly, it's so cool that
there are these old city walls.
Seoul is actually one of the most wired
cities in the world.
It's one of the most connected.
It's the ninth largest tourist destination
in the world.
We're going to do our best to dig
deep and find out more about
Seoul's roots.
As you saw earlier,
Seoul is surrounded by this massive
stone, circular wall
that was originally built to keep out
animals, thieves, and all that.
It's interesting to find out that
until the 19th Century,
it was opened and closed every single day,
and this was essentially an isolated city,
isolated from foreigners.
After the 19th Century,
the city was opened to foreigners;
It modernized and
now is a hub of the global economy,
the most wired city in the world
and home to over half
of South Korea's fifty million
person population.
We've just arrived to the traditional
village of Bukchon,
Honok Village, right?
We just need a disclaimer:
all pronunciations for all our Korean
vlogs, we're probably going to butcher
pronunciation on every single word.
We'll do our best.
This is a pretty cool spot.
It's definitely popular with tourists.
It's got nine hundred of these Honoks,
which are traditional houses.
It gives you a really good flavor of what
Seoul would have been like hundreds
of years ago.
Let's go explore some more.
Right now we are just wandering
back alleys of the Bukchon neighborhood.
One of the first things that I've noticed
about Korea.....
it's very quiet.
People are not loud in public.
This is a residential area, so it is
just pure silence.
Honestly, coming here, starting the trip
in this little traditional village......
so cool because it really is
just like taking a stroll through time.
I'm really stoked that we're in Asia.
We've never made a vlog series in East
Asia, Korea. We've never been to Korea
We're not really experts in this culture.
We're learning a lot in the process.
and I hope over the next couple video,
we really get to experience some
real, traditional culture: modern
and historical, not to mention food.
Yes, lots of food. I want to eat.
On the note, maybe we should go
to get some tea or something.
I want noodles. Let's go.
I just came around the corner,
and there is a bunch of people
mounting....what the?
It's like...they're..it's a human centipede.
But, Dude, they're sucking on wangs
and pants out.
What is going on? Okay, I guess this
is where we take a family photo.
It's a human centipede.
Dude, there's a face in an asshole.
Look, their heads are disappeared
in buttholes and then this little kid....
There are no heads in there.
Continuing on to the palace.
That is the strangest sculpture I have
ever seen in my life.
Just to put it into context.
There it is.
Inside the palace right now and
we're in the middle of the changing
of the guards ceremony.
Everybody's got crazy weapons,
super colorful outfits. Awesome.
That had to be one of the coolest
experiences I've had in a long time.
Honestly, with the musical instruments
that I've never seen before......
the costumes, the weapons,
and the discipline, not to mention
the location in this beautiful palace.
What a great way to start off our trip
here in Seoul.
It's kind of like the ceremony at
Buckingham Palace, but on
the opposite side of the world.
And I think that one of the big
take-aways from today has been
the impact of globalization....
how only two centuries ago, this would
have been a city that was walled off
and very much isolated from the west.
Now there's thirty thousand American
troops have been stationed here
since the Korean War.
It's very much opened up to western
and global influences.
However, it's also managed to keep its
feet firmly rooted in culture
through ceremonies like this and
beautifully preserved palaces, such as
this one, which is one of only five
in the city. And it's the oldest one,
I'm pretty sure. Yeah.
This was founded by the Joseon
Dynasty, correct my pronunciation in
the comment section, and it was the
first palace that started their 500
year reign in Korea.
This is really one of my first times
experiencing Asia.
The only time I've been to Asia was
during The Biggest, Baddest Bucket List,
which is almost four years ago now.
We spent a week in Thailand, a week in
Singapore, and a week in Indonesia.
This is my first time in Asia proper,
and, honestly, I've got a feeling we're
going to be spending a lot more
time in this part of the world.
Are you with YouTube?
Is it normal [what's normal?] for people to
wear traditional clothing?
Or do they only come here if they're
having a wedding, or something?
No, no, no.
I think it's been like two years.
They rent or purchase traditional clothes.
Not only for foreigners, also the Koreans
on weekends come out and wear
"hanbok" (traditional Korean clothing).
It's not usual for someone to have
that kind of clothes because it's
pretty expensive.
People usually wear it for weddings or
for holidays,
but they don't usually wear it everyday.
It's like a kilt in Scotland. Kind of.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
We're in the inner sanctum right here.
It's pretty cool.
Definitely reminds me of the Forbidden
Palace in Beijing, where you have the
royal area that would have been full of
officials, royalty, concubines, of course.
You've got to have the concubines,
back in the day.
Eunucks, soldiers, the whole shabang.
This would have been the center of
the action. Pretty cool.
I, honestly, cannot imagine what it
would have been like to be royalty.....
living in a place like this.
It's like Mel Gibson says,
"It's good to be a king."
I can't imagine how "zen" this place
would have been.
Perhaps, we should go find out
at a tea ceremony.
Back in the day, this would have been
sealed off. It would probably
have been completely empty, except
for the officials and the royalty that
would have had official business here.
Now it's open; it's cool,
and it's freezing.
Carlos, how do you feel about Korea
so far? First time in Asia. Right?
First time in Asia, and I'm
fascinated by this place. It's awesome
It's quite different from West L.A.
We're not in Santa Monica. No.
But, Koreatown...not so different.
Yeah, sort of.
Cheers. We're in Seoul, Korea.
We're eating live octopus and penis fish!
Welcome to Vagabrothers.

United Airlines: Was The Airline Right? (Graphic Footage & Reactions) - Duration: 3:10.
What''s Up Internet!
If you've been alive for the last few days you will have seen this:
[punch!]
Oh!
Sorry, easy to get those mixed up.
[screaming]
Oh my God
No!
Oh my God!
No!
My God!
What are you doing!
No!
This is wrong!
Oh my God!
Look at what you're doing to him!
Oh my God!
There we go!
With thanks to the internet creating a myriad of memes in the space of half an hour on the
subject, let's go!
No quicker can you say "leggings" and United are at it again!
It's like Pepsi were moaning about making the worst PR decision of the year until United
said: "Hold my beer."
You don't need me to go over the details of what happened, you already know them.
But basically their phrase "Fly the friendly skies" has become an irony bigger than an
an Airbus A380.
This is not just one of those rare cases where the customer was right, this is one of those
even rarer cases where the customer was so right, that the CEO themselves had to step
in to stop this from becoming the largest free ad for Greyhound Bus ever made!
Look at this: This is what he said: I apologize for having to re-accommodate these
customers.
You apologize for having to re-accommodate these customers!
That's like when you were a kid and you called your brother an idiot and your mum forced
you to apologize and you would be a complete smart-arse and say:
"I'm sorry you're an idiot!"
Seriously, did he get some pointers from Sean Spicer when he was writing this thing?
And that word: re-accommodate.
Is THAT the word we're using now?
Such a polite and docile term for what happened.
What, so kind of like how Negan had to re-accommodate Glenn's brain in The Walking Dead?
What made this worse, isn't that the plane was over-booked.
Which in itself is a profit-first act employed by most airlines.
It's just that it was United that was effectively caught this time.
But that it was considered overbooked because it had to accommodate their own staff!
They needed to boot off fare-paying customers so that they could accommodate their own people!
What IS the United Airlines Staff Handbook called?
"Shooting Yourself In The Foot"?
It's also come to light that when United Airlines was looking for volunteers
for people to vacate the plane,
They kept upping the offering until they got to about $800.
Apparently airlines are allowed to go all the way up $1350 per per passenger
But, decided that creating a world-wide piublic outrage
is going to cost them a lot less than that $550 difference.
Still, if you ever find yourself on a United Airlines plane
And some thuggish looking security in uniform are looking to displace you
Make sure you've ordered a very specific beverage from a flight attendant before-hand.
And it should make all your problems go away.
Saying that, this issue arose all because a United Airlines flight was overbooked
I doubt that's going to be an issue with them, anymore
Do you have any airline horror stories, either as crew or passenger?
If so let me know in the comments!
Or send a story through to Not Always Right or Working
Please leave a comment, please subscribe, please leave a like if you did!
Until next week: Have a safe flight!
When United Airlines -- [email noise] -- ugh f*** off!

Horrifying New Study Shows People Willing to Hurt Complete Strangers - Duration: 5:56.
Horrifying New Study Shows People Willing to Hurt Complete Strangers Just to Obey Authority
For the state to make war, it must convince the populace that killing other people is
just and necessary.
Many different rationalizations have cropped up over the millennia from controlling
resources to exterminating races to fighting terrorism but murdering strangers requires
a particular obedience to authority.
Fifty years ago, psychologist Stanley Milgram conducted the Milgram experiment, which measured
the willingness of study participants to hurt others, even when it conflicts with their
personal conscience, in the interest of obeying authority.
The results, published in 1963, showed that a very high percentage of participants were
willing to follow orders and cause serious injury to others.
One would think that 50 years later after the lessons of World War II, the horror of
Vietnam, the bloody folly of the Iraq invasion, and the long list of brutal military crusades
humanity would have a greater aversion to harming others at the behest of authority.
However, a replication of the Milgram experiment shows that people are as willing as ever to
obey authority to the harm their fellow man.
The title is direct, Would you deliver an electric shock in 2015? and the answer,
according to the results of this replication study, is yes.
Social psychologists from SWPS University of Social Sciences and Humanities in Poland
replicated a modern version of the Milgram experiment and found results similar to studies
conducted 50 years earlier
The researchers recruited 80 participants (40 men and 40 women), with an age range from
18 to 69, for the study.
Participants had up to 10 buttons to press, each a higher shock level.
The results show that the level of participants obedience towards instructions is similarly
high to that of the original Milgram studies.
They found that 90% of the people were willing to go to the highest level in the experiment.
Study co-author Tomasz Grzyb noted that the vast majority of people claimed they would
never behave in such a manner as the original Milgram experiments showed, but nevertheless,
their study illustrated the tremendous power of the situation the subjects are confronted
with and how easily they can agree to things which they find unpleasant.
Gryzb concludes that things havent really changed, and a striking majority of subjects
are still willing to electrocute a helpless individual.
Results like these do not bode well for a world in which war-making has become an immensely
profitable enterprise, despite Eisenhowers warning against the rise of the military-industrial
complex.
To keep the bombs and bullets and the profits flowing, the state needs to perpetuate
the fear of a bogeyman.
The war on terror is the excuse du jour to murder strangers en masse for the sake
of following orders.
Fear of the unknown and aggression toward outgroups (racial groups, minorities, etc.)
can be a powerful vehicle for authoritarianism; unfortunately, we see the potential for this
in the U.S. Harming others, even when conflicted with ones personal conscience, can be rationalized
when it comes to obeying authority.
Some of the study participants in the first Milgram experiment were truly conflicted,
showing signs such as sweating, trembling, stuttering, biting their lips, groaning, digging
their fingernails into their skin as they administered what they believed were increasingly
powerful electric shocks to what sounded like screaming subjects.
Milgram wrote:
The extreme willingness of adults to go to almost any lengths on the command of an
authority constitutes the chief finding of the study and the fact most urgently demanding
explanation.
Ordinary people, simply doing their jobs, and without any particular hostility on their
part, can become agents in a terrible destructive process.
Moreover, even when the destructive effects of their work become patently clear, and they
are asked to carry out actions incompatible with fundamental standards of morality, relatively
few people have the resources needed to resist authority.
He advanced two theories, one of conformism and the other of the state agent, where
Milgram said the essence of obedience consists in the fact that a person comes to view themselves
as the instrument for carrying out another persons wishes, and they therefore no longer
see themselves as responsible for their actions.
Once this critical shift of viewpoint has occurred in the person, all of the essential
features of obedience follow.
Now more than ever, we must recognize that obeying orders is no justification for carrying
out mass murder.
We must question the overt and covert machinations of the State, in its strategy to maintain
a compliant mindset among the populace that causing harm to others is good and necessary
to obey authority.

Feminist Frequency visits Toca Boca in Stockholm - Duration: 4:09.
So, we're just in Stockholm,
walking around,
as one does...
The weather is decent:
there's some snow on the ground,
but not much.
Do you know what this is?
No, what is it?
It's a Japanese Gashapon machine.
I'm here at Toca Boca,
Yep!
...in Stockholm with Petter --
did I say that right?
That was ok.
Petter? Pettar?
Petter.
Petter.
Yeah.
Ok.
Ok, so this is a game company
that I don't think a lot of adults
that don't have children know about.
Yeah. That's because we make
apps for kids.
Or as we like to frame it, digital toys.
Ok!
So, it's more like a toy
that you pick up and play
rather than a game that has achievements
that you need to complete and
be challenged by.
Ok, so what does that look like?
It could look like, we have a,
like a popular app that we make,
it's like hair salon app.
So I just pick a character,
and then I can customize the hair of the character
and then, then I'm done!
Ok, so how is that, like
targeted to girls?
Is it more gendered?
We try to make apps that are fun to play
regardless of your gender,
which, of course, is tricky because
you can easily fall into traps
in some different ways.
But the goals is to make toys for kids 3 to 9 years,
which is a big span -
Yeah, yeah, that is.
Yeah, to just make stuff that is fun, yeah.
So in some of the other rooms there were, like,
Playmobil sets and Legos and stuff like that.
Do you want to explain what you do with those?
The apps I work with are very similar to playsets
in the start of sort of a concept phase,
when I explore a thing,
we invite kids to play with the playsets
and see if there is something fun they do
or if there is some aspect of how they play
that we should not miss.
Are they enjoying themselves?
Are they fun?
And then they can be enjoying games,
usually in ways we actually haven't expected.
Yeah. Oh, nice!
Yeah, that's a fun part of the job.
Do you have an example of that?
And old example:
like, our oldest app is like, on an iPad
you play Tea Party
Ok.
So I set the plates for you, and
"Oh, what drinks do you want?"
And I pour it on the little iPad thing...
but we found out in early play tests that
the most fun thing to do is spilling.
Like, so playing with the forbidden is super fun.
Do your games, are they, like
is there an educational component
or are they just more fun games to entertain kids --
a bit of both?
I mean, the main focus is to entertain.
To be something... we want to praise play.
We see play as something that is pushed
more and more out of kids' lives
and other things, other things need to happen.
Play becomes down-prioritized,
which, I think, is dangerous.
I think play is a way we learn.
You mimic life in general.
You see things, and then you play it out.
You play your dreams, etc.
You play your reality but you also play your dreams.
Yeah.
So, I think, and we think,
the value of play is so important in itself.
And then when it comes to education,
that's not something that we generally focus on
but of course, we acknowledge that, like,
this way of learning about yourself
and the real world by playing it
I mean, is powerful in ways.
But it's not like we make an app
to teach you the alphabet.
Yeah, yeah, absolutely. Cool!
And all of your games are available
on the app store?
Yeah, so we're on mainly the ios app store,
Google Play and Amazon.
Great, awesome. Thank you!
Yeah! Thank you!
