Priyanka Chopra opens up about Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's relationship. - Duration: 2:00.
Priyanka Chopra opens up about Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's relationship.
on Wednesday night, Priyanka Chopra took home a People's Choice Award for Favourite TV Drama
Actress and after accepting the statue, she spent a few minutes chatting with ET about
her pal Meghan Markle.
In the short video, the interviewer is overheard asking, "One of your best friends is dating
a prince, and I'm wondering, are you in the running to be a royal bridesmaid?"
The 34-year-old's response was short and to the point: "No, but I'm just happy for Meg.
And I hope whatever she does, wherever she goes in life, she's always happy."
"But you would be happy being a royal bridesmaid. who wouldn't be happy to be a royal bridesmaid?"
questioned the interviewer.
Laughing, Priyanka noted, "Well let's not jump the gun, let's give them their space!"
She went on to say that she can't talk about the nature of the relationship between Megan
and Prince Harry, and that as a good friend she doesn't want to give away private information
about a pal.
"That's what friends are for.
We keep each other's secrets."
This wasn't the first time the star has been questioned about her pal's new partnership.
At UNICEF's 70th anniversary celebration in December, she told E! News she was staying
mum on what she knew.
"I'm going to be a good friend to whatever my friends' needs, not just her," she said,
adding she loved London and would head to the city any time Megan needed her.
I would go anytimeI mean the Queen just has to invite me if that's what you're asking!"
she quipped.

What has NASA found US Space Agency to make MAJOR announcement - Duration: 4:34.
What has NASA found?
US Space Agency to make MAJOR announcement
NASA has called for ANOTHER press conference to discuss another major discovery.
The conference will be attended by several members of the Cassini team, which raises
speculation among many that the announcement could be a revelation about Jupiters sixth
closest moon Europathe place where astronomers believe its most likely well find alien
life.
According to reports from the space Agency, the press conference scheduled at 14:00 ET
(19:00 GMT) on Thursday will discuss new results about ocean worlds.
Has NASA found traces of life in our Solar System?
According to the Space Agency, the press briefing will discuss findings from both the agencys
Cassini spacecraft and the Hubble Space Telescope.
In a statement on their website, NASA said that: These new discoveries will help inform
future ocean world exploration including NASAs upcoming Europa Clipper mission planned
for launch in the 2020s and the broader search for life beyond Earth.
The press conference will be held at NASAs James Webb Auditorium in Washington and will
be broadcasted live on NASA Television and the agencys website, which will allow experts
from all over the country to participate in the briefing.
It is believed that Jim Green, director of NASAs Division of Planetary Sciences will
attend the conference together with leading astrobiologists, scientists and astronomers
associated with the Space Telescope Science Institute in Baltimore.
Interestingly, the conference will be attended by several members of the Cassini team, which
raises speculation among many that the announcement could be a revelation about Jupiters sixth
closest moon Europa, ahead of the 2020 Europa Clipper mission, or Enceladus, the sixth-largest
moon of Saturn.
Jupiters moon Europa is one of the most interesting places in the solar system when
it comes to alien life.
As noted by Futurism, ever since the Voyager probes winged their way galaxy-ward, theres
been a great deal of speculation that Jupiters second moon, Europa, might harbor a warm,
liquid ocean beneath its piebald shell of red-and-white ice; recent observations with
the Hubble Space Telescope even suggest some of that water is escaping into space, in the
form of geysersakin to what we see on Saturns moon Enceladus.
Europa is located some 500 million miles from the sun and has an ocean beneath its surface
which many astronomers believe may be home to alien life.
Furthermore, Europa has more liquid water than we have on Earth.
Also, NASAs new announcement could also be related to the faint plumes of water that
were spotted escaping the moon in 2012.
Observations of Europa have provided us with tantalizing clues over the last two decades,
and the time has come to seek answers to one of humanitys most profound questions,
said John Grunsfeld, associate administrator of NASAs Science Mission Directorate.
By far the simplest explanation for this water vapor is that it erupted from plumes
on the surface of Europa, lead author Lorenz Roth of Southwest Research Institute in San
Antonio said when the plumes were first spotted.
If those plumes are connected with the subsurface water ocean we are confident exists
under Europas crust, then this means that future investigations can directly investigate
the chemical makeup of Europas potentially habitable environment without drilling through
layers of ice.
And that is tremendously exciting.

How to have a romantic getaway like Prince Harry and Meghan Markle in Norway. - Duration: 2:13.
How to have a romantic getaway like Prince Harry and Meghan Markle in Norway.
troms in Norway is one of the best places on Earth to catch a glimpse of the aurora
borealis.
Its charms certainly won over Prince Harry, who visited recently with his new love.
For a fabulous Arctic getaway, look no further.
On dark polar nights, the elusive aurora borealis (Northern lights) can be spotted from Troms.
But for unbeatable viewing, make the half-hour drive east to the Lyngen Alps a hiker's
paradise with spectacular glaciers and great terrain for off-piste skiing.
Perched on Troms's twinkly harbour is Fiskekompaniet a refined restaurant with an ever-changing
menu of fresh Nordic dishes (think skreimlje cod meat served with its liver and roe).
For fusion cuisine, book a table at Presis (pictured), a lively tapas spot serving Norwegian
and Spanish plates for sharing.
With temperatures that can drop to -19C, where better than Troms to update your collection
of cold-weather gear?
For pieces that blend form with function, Norrna is a good place to start.
Or head to Twist'em Skis, a concept store and workshop where you can design and build
your own pair of pro skis.
In snow-dusted Ersfjordbotn (above) a small village just outside Troms sits
the cosiest of cabins: a peaceful, wood-clad den with two bedrooms, low-energy lighting
and a dramatic craggy backdrop.
Decked out in neutral colours, the cabin's interior gives a firm nod to Scandinavian
style and has all of the creature comforts you could wish for.
Curl up beside the half-moon window and watch as the light shifts across the deep sapphire
sky, or wander down to the fjord to spot killer whales as they glifde through the cool Norwegian
waters.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle hold hands on London dinner date! - Duration: 2:25.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle hold hands on London dinner date!
prince Harry and Meghan Markle have enjoyed a romantic evening together in London!
The couple were spotted walking hand-in-hand following a dinner date at the lavish private
members' club, Soho House.
In photos obtained by The Sun, the couple were dressed casually, with Prince Harry in
a white shirt and a grey jacket with a beanie hat, while Meghan wore an oversized blue shirt
under a black winter coat, leaving her brunette tresses loose.
An onlooker spotted the pair having dinner together, telling The Sun: "They tried to
keep as low-key as possible and were sitting in a small snug area of the restaurant.
But it wasn't a private area and they were happy to be seen...
They only had eyes for each other."
The pair, who began dating in late 2016, have enjoyed several dates in the Prince's hometown,
and were spotted attending the show The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night Time at the
Gielgud Theatre over Christmas.
They also went Christmas tree shopping at Pines and Needles in Battersea Park, and the
shop's owner Sam Lyle spoke of his surprise at seeing them in his store.
He told HELLO! Online: "We have looked after some of Britain's highest profile names for
nearly 20 years but you could have heard a pin drop or a needle when Prince Harry
and Meghan walked into the store.
They were completely charming together and blissfully unaware that our jaws had hit the
floor.
They chose a gorgeous Nordmann Fir and walked away after exchanging Christmas pleasantries."
The pair are clearly enjoying their time together, and Meghan's co-star on Suits Patrick J. Adams
recently opened up about their relationship.
"I'm just super happy for her that she found someone that she seems to really be into,"
he said.
"We don't talk about it a lot, obviously there is so much secrecy involved in something like
that.
I just sort of stay out of it, and I feel like a big brother."thanks for watching.

WE'RE ABOUT TO GET OUR FIRST EVER IMAGE OF A BLACK HOLE - tech and science - Duration: 5:07.
WERE ABOUT TO GET OUR FIRST EVER IMAGE OF A BLACK HOLE
For years, scientists have been trying to pinpoint what exactly a black hole is and
why it happens in the first place.
There are tons of theories, from black holes representing creation to Hawkings latest
theory of them being a sort of portal to another universe, but they still remain a mystery.
People are unable see black holes, which makes their allure that much more intriguing.
However, for the first time in history, scientists think they have finally figured out a way
to capture an image of a black hole using a virtual telescope.
Will this take us one step further toward understanding black holes, and more importantly,
the role they play in the multiverse?
What Is a Black Hole?
NASA describes a black hole as a place in space where gravity pulls so much that
even light can not get out.
The gravity is so strong because matter has been squeezed into a tiny space.
This can happen when a star is dying.
However, NASA explains that we cannot actually see black holes: Because no light can get
out, people cant see black holes.
They are invisible.
Space telescopes with special tools can help find black holes.
The special tools can see how stars that are very close to black holes act differently
than other stars.
There are many theories on why black holes form.
Some scientists think the smallest black holes were created when the universe began.
Stellar black holes, on the other hand, form when the center of a large star falls into
itself or collapses, resulting in supernova, which is essentially an exploding star that
shoots different parts of itself into outer space.
Because of Einsteins general theory of relativity, many scientists believe that any
information or anything that falls into a black hole and goes past the event horizon
will never make it out.
However, Stephen Hawkings latest theory on black holes suggests that not all information
is lost when sucked into a black hole.
As Hawking explains, They are not the eternal prisons they were once thought.
Things can get out of a black hole both on the outside and possibly come out in another
universe.
Black Holes: Are They Fountains of Creation?
Earth-Sized Telescope to Take Image of Black Hole
Last week, scientists switched on a group of eight radio telescopes around the
world in hopes of imaging the supermassive black hole thats 26,000 light-years away
at the center of our galaxy, Sagittarius A* (Sgr A*).
The array of telescopes is being referred to as Event Horizon Telescope (EHT) and its
running from April 5-14.
This is because the scientists are hoping to measure the event horizon, or the point
of no return, where the black holes gravitational pull is so strong that no one
or thing can escape it.
The EHTs group of international observatories forms a virtual telescope, which is
technically comparable to the size of Earth.
PBS NewsHour checked out one of the sites at Atacama Large Millimeter/submillimeter
Array in Chiles Atacama desert over two years ago, but that was when the EHT wasnt
fully functioning yet.
Were trying to image a black hole, and those are some of the smallest objects in
the universe, MIT astronomer Shep Doeleman explained to the NewsHour.
So you need the biggest telescope to observe the smallest object.
These are the observations that will help us to sort through all the wild theories about
black holes.
And there are many wild theories, team member Gopal Narayanan of the University of
Massachusetts Amherst explained in a statement.
With data from this project, we will understand things about black holes that we have never
understood before.
The results are anticipated to be announced either later this year or in early 2018.
Of course, this may not work, but it could also represent a huge shift in the way we
look at our universe.
People often feel as though science gives us concrete answers, but in reality, most
great scientists recognize that science cannot provide an explanation for everything.
It is said that the more we learn, the more we realize how little we know, and that is
especially true for science.
Maybe black holes represent portals for us to travel to different universes, or maybe
theyre just strange vacuums that mysteriously eliminate everything that comes into their
paths.
Hopefully this will bring us one step closer to understanding what black holes truly are,
or at the very least, what they look like!

Prince Harry's girlfriend Meghan Markle has been introduced to Kate – and Princess Charlotte! - Duration: 2:13.
Prince Harry's girlfriend Meghan Markle has been introduced to Kate and Princess Charlotte!
prince Harry has introduced his girlfriend Meghan Markle to his sister-in-law the Duchess
of Cambridge, according to a new report.
The Suits actress, who has been dating Harry since last summer, even met Kate's daughter,
Princess Charlotte.
The introductions were made last week when Toronto-based Meghan, 35, was visiting Harry,
32, in London.
"Kate was really looking forward to meeting Meghan and she knew how important it was to
Harry," a source told The Sun on Sunday.
"They are very close and he really values her opinion on girlfriends."The source added:
"Obviously Harry's mother, Princess Diana, died when he was very young so Kate really
fulfils that older sister/maternal role.
It went really well and Meghan was very excited about meeting her."
Harry and Meghan reportedly visited Prince William and Kate's home, Apartment 1A in Kensington
Palace, a stone's throw away from Harry's Nottingham Cottage.
The actress gave the Duchess a thoughtful, belated birthday present and even got to meet
Princess Charlotte.
Prince George was at the family's country home, Anmer Hall, in Norfolk as he goes to
nursery there.
"She got to play with Charlotte who she just adored," the source continued.
"Meg had bought Kate a small birthday present a very smart leather-bound 'dream diary'
for her thoughts and ideas which Kate loved.
"This just shows how serious Harry is.
He wants to take their relationship to the next level."Meghan was introduced to Harry's
brother Prince William two months ago at Kensington Palace, but Kate missed out as she was at
Anmer Hall.
The introduction comes shortly after Harry whisked his girlfriend to Norway to see the
Northern Lights.
The Prince and Meghan flew out to Tromso after seeing in the New Year in London.
Harry reportedly pulled out all the stops for the romantic break, arranging whale-watching
trips and renting the luxury 2,000-a-week Tromvik Lodge.

Queen Elizabeth Cancels Prince William and Kate Middleton's Mustique Vacation? - Duration: 2:38.
Its a new year and apparently a new set of rules for Prince William and Kate Middleton.
There is a new report indicating that Queen Elizabeth canceled William and Kates annual
trip to Mustique. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were looking forward to visiting
the luxurious Caribbean island with Kates family this year until Queen Elizabeth canceled
their plans. Instead, Prince William and Kate Middleton
are starting off the New Year with work and lots of it. Last year William and Kate didnt
make their first post holiday public appearance until February 7. This year they were forced
back to work on January 11. The Duke and Duchess spent the day talking to young children at
the Child Bereavement Headquarters in London. And while many royal observers are surprised
to see William and Kate getting back to work so early in the year, insiders say this is
the new norm. After all, Kate Middleton only worked 63 days last year. Prince William put
in 80 days. Queen Elizabeth knows that in order for them
to stop embarrassing the royal family with their work allergic attitude, they have to
do more. With Queen Elizabeths health concerns and uncertain future, shes giving them
more royal engagements and public appearances whether they like it or not. Royal insiders
believe that Kate Middleton is absolutely gutted that her Mustique plans have been canceled.
After all, she was looking forward to starting off the New Year with her parents Michael
and Carole Middleton along with her siblings Pippa Middleton and James Middleton. But at
this point, even Kate knows she doesnt have a choice.
There are going to be some major changes made in the monarchy this year. No one knows how
much longer Queen Elizabeth will rule or whether or not Prince Charles will be made King of
England this year. But one thing is for certain: both Prince William and Kate Middleton are
being pressured to do more and vacation less. That means more charity work and fewer vacations
with the Middletons in Mustique. Tell us, do you think the Duke and Duchess
of Cambridge are upset over Queen Elizabeths new work schedule? Do you think the Duke and
Duchess should be working more and vacationing less? Drop us a line with your thoughts in
our comments section below. thanks for watching. please subscribe my channel.

Star Hopping #54 - Extra: Preparing for the Great American Solar Eclipse - Duration: 14:22.
Hi There!
I'm Dave Hearn, and I'm the Director of Kissimmee Park Observatory, and the Creator
of Star Hopping.
In this week's Star Hopping "Extra", we'll begin a series of episodes dedicated
to help you to plan for and view the Great North American Solar Eclipse in August 2017!
More great stuff about that right after this - Stay Tuned!
<Intro Theme>
Hey Hello Hi and welcome to Episode 54 of Star Hopping!
I'm Dave Hearn, and it just makes me glow to be your host.
In this series of programs we'll show you the most beautiful sights in the night sky,
and explain exactly how to find them with your binoculars or telescope.
So this week we're starting a series of Extra episodes to get you excited and informed
about the Great North American Solar Eclipse, coming up on Monday, August 21st.
For that event, I'm headed to the Mountains of North Georgia, more specifically, the Summit
of Brasstown Bald, the highest point in the state of Georgia.
For this amazing celestial occurrence, I plan to be live streaming coverage of the progress
of the Moon's shadow.
This assumes that the Internet does not completely crash, due to all the information that everyone
will be posting.
If by some chance it does, I'll be creating a documentary of the event, to post here on
YouTube afterwards.
So there are many things to know about this event.
Most basically, what are the celestial mechanics that let a solar eclipse occur?
A total solar eclipse occurs when the Moon, just as it reaches it's New Moon phase,
passes between the Sun and the Earth.
The Sun casts a shadow of the Moon onto the surface of the Earth, and we see a Solar Eclipse.
Now the Moon varies in its orbital distance, so depending on how close or far the Moon
is, we see a different type of eclipse.
If the moon is farther away from the Earth, it doesn't completely cover the Sun, so
we see A Ring of Fire, or Annular eclipse.
If the moon is closer into Earth, it completely obscures the Sun, so we have a Total Eclipse.
That's the case with the August 21st event; with the magnitude of the eclipse being 1.03;
barely large enough to cover the entire sun.
The maximum duration of the eclipse will be 2 minutes, 41 seconds, in or around Carbondale,
Illinois.
The actual path of the eclipse runs from Oregon the whole way to South Carolina, crossing
10 states, so it will be relatively easy for very large numbers of people to see this amazing
solar system event.
Where will you be on that day?
Post your viewing site for watching the eclipse in the comment section below, or on our website
show notes, found at StarHopping.org/sh054/.
There is a lot of hoopla surrounding this eclipse.
With tens of millions of people headed for the zone of totality, it's going to be the
biggest science event in history.
Hotel rooms are being snapped up all along the path of the eclipse, so if you are interested
in standing in the shadow of the moon, you need to book now.
Let's take a short break, and when we come back, I'll give you more info about eclipse
basics - I'll see you right after this.
So now we know what causes the eclipse, so let's talk about some other basic information.
In any eclipse, whether it is of the Sun (known as a solar eclipse) or of the Moon (known
as a lunar eclipse), there are five main events.
The first is First Contact - that's the point where the limb of the Moon first starts
to obscure the disk of the Sun.
The Moon will continue in its path, taking bigger and bigger bites out of the Sun.
Finally we reach the next main event: Second Contact, which is when the total eclipse begins.
Just before this occurs, it is common to see the "Diamond Ring effect", and "Baily's
Beads".
These are caused by valleys on the limb of the moon, that allows sunlight to stream through.
Just after Second Contact, we see the wispy and delicate solar corona; hot gasses that
extend far out into the space around the sun.
This can never be seen normally because the sun's photosphere is too bright.
Minutes later, we reach the third event known as "Maximum Eclipse"; the point when we
are halfway through the entire eclipse event.
In just a few more minutes, we reach the next event: Third Contact, which heralds the end
of the total eclipse, with another appearance of Baily's Beads.
Now we watch more and more of the solar photosphere being exposed, until we reach the last event,
when the limb of the moon passes off the disk of the Sun - this is known as Fourth Contact.
At this point the entire eclipse event is over, and we can pack up our gear and head
back home.
So what other events can we see during a total solar eclipse?
One of the very neat phenomena is the patterns of the sun cast by everyday objects, such
as trees.
Normally, the sun has a perfectly round disk shape, and the patterns seen on the ground
are round.
But between First and Second contact, the sun is shaped like a crescent.
On the ground you will see tiny projections of the solar crescent, formed by the spaces
between the leaves or anything with small holes that let the sunlight pass through.
Another interesting phenomenon is the approach of the moon's shadow as it races across
the land.
If you are high up, the Moon's shadow will be seen approaching from the northwest.
I am really looking forward to see this from the summit of Brasstown Bald.
The shadow will overtake you at the point of Second Contact.
At this event the sky will darken, birds will return to their roosts, the temperature will
drop, and brighter stars and planets will appear in the sky.
It's hard to take the time to note all these events, because the delicate solar corona
will also appear, which is very literally the star of the show.
So with all these wondrous and beautiful events occurring, it is a common reaction to stare
and gaze directly at the Sun.
This is a fairly dangerous situation, and without adequate protection, your eyes can
be damaged by the sun's powerful radiation of light.
Let's take a quick break, and when we come back we'll discuss safety practices during
a total solar eclipse.
Stay Tuned
for more.
All of us have looked
at the sun from time to time, mostly around sunrise or sunset, when the Earth's atmosphere
filters a very large percentage of the illumination.
But once the Sun rises about 20 degrees or so, it becomes blindingly bright, and if you
try to gaze at it directly you are instinctively forced to look away.
Perhaps when you were young, you used a magnifying glass to catch leaves or paper on fire, using
the light of the sun and the magnifying glass to focus a white-hot laser beam of light.
The paper started to smoke and then burst into flames, right?
The lens of the magnifying glass is very similar to the lens in a telescope or binoculars.
So imagine using binoculars to look at the Sun.
Just imagine it, and DONT EVER DO IT!
The objective lenses of the binoculars will focus that intense laser beam of light onto
the retinas of your eye, and will burn them, affecting your vision for the rest of your
life.
Same goes for a telescope, except the light is brighter and hotter when focused.
So I repeat, never, never, NEVER look at the sun directly with an *unfiltered* set of binoculars
or telescope.
So I said "unfiltered" just then.
There are ways to look at the sun safely with binoculars or a telescope, using specially
made solar filters, mounted at the front end of the telescope.
These filters block out more than 99.999% of the heat and light BEFORE it enters your
optical instrument of choice.
This allows you to safely look at the sun and examine the eclipse progress, and hopefully
see a few sunspots on the solar surface.
When using full aperture solar filters, you need to take a few precautions, such as placing
the front lens caps on your finder scope and any guide scopes you might have mounted on
your main telescope.
This will save you in case you instinctively try to look through the finder scope when
trying to center the Sun.
You can look at the ground and line up the shadows of the telescope tube and finder scopes
with the sun.
When everything lines up, you should be able to see the solar disc in your wide field eyepiece.
The only exception to these warnings are during the total eclipse phase, between second and
third contacts.
At this time is is safe to look at the sun without the filters, as the brightness is
similar to that of the full moon.
But this time is brief, because with the appearance of Baily's Beads for the second time, you
will have to replace the solar filters again.
Don't forget to do this; you don't want to get a flash of the photosphere through
your telescope!
So even if you are not using binoculars or your telescope to watch the eclipse, you still
need to provide protection for your eyes.
Don't be fooled into thinking your sunglasses will save you; you need to find some special
eclipse glasses online.
These are essentially solar filters mounted in a pair of cardboard glasses that you can
wear.
These will safely allow you to look up at the sun with just your eyes.
Eclipse glasses are available all over the internet, but I'll provide a link to a good
source in the show notes of this episode, found at StarHopping.org/sh054/.
Again, don't wait to order, as it will be very difficult to get your hands on these
or any other solar observing equipment for that matter, as we get closer to the event.
So let's take another short break, and when we come back, we'll discuss the basic equipment
needed for observing the August solar eclipse.
So what equipment do you need to view the eclipse?
It depends on how much you want to see.
If you are using just your eyes, then eclipse glasses, that I mentioned just before the
break, will do the trick.
if you want to see things in more detail, then you'll need to use binoculars or a telescope.
For binoculars, you'll need to pick up two solar filters.
These will cover the front of the two objectives of binoculars, and should fit snugly.
If you're using a telescope, you'll need to find a larger filter, that will cover the
entire front aperture of the telescope.
The filter needs to fit rather snug so there's no chance of it falling off while observing
the bright sun.
If you are a binocular user, it's really nice to have a binocular stand to hold the binoculars
in place,
so you don't have to hold them up with your hands, which can get very tiring.
For your telescope, you'll need to bring your entire mount, so it can track the Sun and
you can continue to comfortably view as the eclipse proceeds.
If you're into trying to photograph or video the event, which I think will be a very popular
goal, there's a lot of other equipment that you might need and a lot of strategy and planning
that is required in order to capture all of the eclipse events.
I'll be covering that in a later episode in this series.
So that's our introduction to viewing the great American Solar Eclipse of August, 2017.
Stay tuned here in the coming weeks to see more discussions about this event.
Make sure to subscribe to my YouTube channel or the Podcast so you don't miss any of these
important episodes.
So we started out discussing the celestial mechanics that create a solar eclipse.
Then we talked about the five main events that occur in every eclipse whether it's a
lunar or solar eclipse.
Then we discussed the safety practices that you need to be aware of when observing a total
solar eclipse.
And finally, we talked about the basic equipment that you can use to view the eclipse whether
it's just with your own eyes or whether you're using binoculars or a telescope.
I would highly encourage you to really consider making an effort to go see the total solar
eclipse and finding a place in the Moon's shadow, on the centerline.
It's a major lifetime event at everyone should see, and make sure to bring a child with you.
So that does it for this week's episode.
