Jesus' fifth word from the cross comes from John chapter 19.

Almost 1,000 years before this,

King David prophesied this moment in the Psalms.

David said, "They put gall in my food and gave me vinegar for my thirst."

David prophesied that this would happen.

Jesus made sure that no scripture was left unfulfilled,

no part of the plan was left unfinished.

There was no way that Satan would be left to accuse us as having a part or partial Savior.

Jesus did everything his father had asked.

He fulfilled every promise that was made.

This is a relatively small moment at the cross.

Jesus was thirsty and got a drink.

And yet, it is still so important.

This is one more moment, one more word,

that leaves us with absolute assurance this is the promised Messiah.

This is the Christ.

Jesus is our Savior.

This is the fifth word from the cross.

[Book Review] China Rich Girlfriend by Kevin Kwan & April TBR - Duration: 7:40.

Hey fellas

Welcome back to book review session

on my Youtube channel

My name is Aya

this time I'd like to talk about

book I've just read

China Rich Girlfriend

the author is Kevin Kwan

This is the second book of Kevin Kwan

which his previous book is 'Crazy Rich Asians'

My first impression by the time I entered book store

and saw this bright yellow book cover

it straightly caught my attention

as I looked closer and read its title was 'China Rich Girlfriend'

In my opinion, that bright yellow book cover is a plus point

This yellow cover is Indonesian version

If you have goodreads account, you can check other versions in other countries

This one is published by Gramedia for Indonesia edition

If you read the synopsis on back cover

China Rich Girlfriend still narrates its main character, Rachel Chu

that is going to married Nicky Young

Unfortunately, I can't tell too much

since the synopsis covered first 10 chapter of this book only

But, what I can tell you is that this book still bring up old names like

Astrid Leong

Bernard Tai

and also Eddison Cheng

If you guys already read the first book, then you'll know that Astrid and Michael Teo's marriage is about to break up

their marriage life will be told furthermore here

and so Bernard Tai who married Kitty Pong

ex soap opera actress

This book will tell about Kitty Pong's life after married the billionare, Bernard Tai

and there's Eddison Cheng

eventhough

his marriage life wasn't brought up that much in this book

but for sure is His story will be related to Rachel and Nicky's story

What I like from Kevin's style is

he tells story not just by writing paragraph after paragraph just like any common book

Kevin tells story by writing it on chat style between two characters

as if when they chat on messenger application

In my opinion, that kind of style is interesting

we can dive in to those characters deeper by judging their chat style

aside from that style

Kevin also tells story

through a news article or even blog column kind alike

So, you will find on this book

You will find news article and blog column alike

as if we were those people who read that articles and blog columns

about that particular character that Kevin would like to deliver his/her story to readers

that kind of interesting idea for me

and fresh also

so we won't get bored, reading only through paragraphs

the downside from this book

is the lack of Nicholas Young's scene

In 'Crazy Rich Asians' he is a main character who got almost 70% scene

you can find scenes where he talked with his mother

he talked with Rachel Chu

he talked with his best friend Colin Khoo

he talked with his grandmother

while on this book his scene wasn't that much

although as Rachel's husband, he'll be there around her every time for sure

but still that's less

Next

this one is my personal thought

For me, Rachel Chu is

a good role model to look up to

Why? Because even she surrounded by very rich people

but she wasn't tempted to used it at all

or even used her husband's wealth for her own good

Rachel, from what I read, she can restrained herself

and that is a good message that Kevin wants to bring out through Rachel's character

Ok, that's all my review about China Rich Girlfriend by Kevin Kwan

if you haven't read it, go read it

especially, if you like his first book, you must be curious about the continuation of its characters' life

Next

Since it is a new month of April

This month I will set the goal, reading two books

Even it seems impossible

Since those book are as followed

the first book is

by this one. I'll put the name on screen once I got the author's name on google

that was the first

second book is

I'll also put the author's name on screen later

That was 'To Be Read April' and I wish I could finish it on target

because I could finished this book only for one month long

in the middle of my tight schedule

so I wish I could finish reading those two book in one month

and reach my goodreads goal

which is

20 books in one year

Speaking of goodreads, if you are on it, please follow me

I'll put the link on description box below

That's all for today's book review

and looks like I'll shoot 'Talk About Detective Conan' in a moment with YAYOY

since Detective Conan 90th volume already released

and being read by me and Yoyo

OK, that's all

and please follow me on other social media

Please Subscribe to this channel

leave a Like if you love this video

comment below, which book that you guys want me to read

And... see you in the next video

Bye...

On the go with EF #33 – Kendra gets ready for Easter in Germany - Duration: 6:35.

Welcome back to "On the go with EF". I'm Kendra and on this beautiful, sunny, spring day,

I'm in Berlin getting ready for Easter. So, I figured I'd bring you along. Let's go!

Here we are at Winterfeldt Markt where there's a farmers' market, or Wochenendmarkt in German.

Here you can find all sorts of food, but today, I'm on the hunt for fresh eggs to paint for Easter.

I want to get 20, but think I'll manage to paint six.

I have to wait my turn.

Hello! I'll have a few eggs. Some eggs, ok.

1 euro and 80 cents, please. There you go.

"Danke", Thank You "Tchüss", Bye

Mission successful.

I know we have our fresh eggs for painting, but I want to show you something.

Here are already-cooked and painted eggs.

You can actually buy these in supermarkets in Germany all year round.

I guess Germans really like Easter. I'll save these just in case.

What are the most popular flowers for Easter? For Easter?

I'll have a little bouquet. Just tulips.

"Danke schön", thank you very much.

1.50 euros back. Thank you. Have a nice day. Good bye!

I even got flowers. I'm really getting this Easter thing going here.

I'm so bad at taking care of them, though. Let's go!

Can I try a little bit? Yes, of course.

Trying is always the first thing because if you only look, you only know what it looks like,

but you want to know the taste, too. It's very important.

I think it's good. Thank you! Enjoy your food and have a nice day.

You, too. Thank you. Bye!

Is there something special you're looking for? Yes. Mountain cheese.

Strong or mild? Mild.

It's from Switzerland. That's good.

Is this one mild? Yes.

Maybe I'll try a bit stronger. A little bit.

That's great. Thank you. Thank you. Bye!

You know that your German is getting better when you get the jokes. That's key.

Some herbs. I know we're not looking for herbs or fruit, but just let me have this one.

They hold for one or two days.

Maybe those ones are better for eating now. Those are juicier.

I got a pear.

It's a nice day at the market.

I could honestly stay here all day, but we have a couple of other things to do.

We're still on the hunt for Easter things, so let's continue.

Look what I grabbed. These are chocolate eggs. It's really popular on Easter morning for parents

to hide these eggs in the garden or the park and for the kids to go look for them.

Now we're at Hackescher Markt. It's a nice little area with really cute shops

and, as you can see, the architecture is more Jugend Art, which is like Art Nouveau, but German.

I'm not totally sure, but I suspect that I can find something really good for Easter here.

There are about four different chocolate stores. I think we'll be able to find something.

Mission accomplished!

Look what I have. It's a giant chocolate Easter bunny! Look how huge it is!

I'm sorry, but this one is coming home with me. Don't worry though. I've got you covered.

One of you guys will get a prize as well.

Just comment below and tell me which holiday you celebrate during spring.

And don't forget to come back next week.

Maria will have an American vs. British English challenge.

Bye!

Next week: British vs. American English with Maria in London
