Today we will talk about the questions где? откуда? куда?

All these words we can translate into English as "where?".

What is the difference then?

Let's figure it out!

We ask "где?", when we want to know the exact place of an object or person,

i.e. where is the object or person located. For example:

Where is my phone?

Here it is!

Hello! Where are you now?

Let's go through the list of words on this picture.

Where? At home.

For example:

Where are you? We are home.

Where? There. Here. For example:

Where is mom? She is there.

There is nothing (in) here.

or

There is nobody (in) here.

Where? Up (there). Down (there).

For example:

Where is dad?

He is up there (upstairs) in the bedroom.

Where? In the front/ahead. In the back/behind.

For example:

Everything is yet to come/is ahead.

A woman was walking down the street with a child and a dog.

The child was running in front (of her) and the dog was slowly walking behind (her).

A boy was walking in the front (first/ahead).

He was constantly looking back to look at those, who were walking behind.

Where? On the left. On the right.

For example:

Where is pasta?

On the upper shelf on the left.

Another example.

On your left you see a school and on your right you see a supermarket.

The next question is "откуда?".

"Откуда" we can translate into English as "where from". For example:

Where did you come from?

or

Where are you from?

And you answer for example: I am from America.

We ask "откуда", when we want to know the source of the knowledge, information, means, feelings, emotions and so on. For example:

How (where from) could I know how to do it? Nobody tought me.

Where did you hear/read it? Where from did you get it (the knowledge)?

Where did you get this?

Where from did he get so much money? (what is his source of money)

Where from did this fear come? (what is the source/reason of this fear)

Again let's go through all the words on this picture.

From where? From home.

For example:

I leave the house after 10 minutes.

When do we say something like this?

When we arranged a meeting with someone, maybe we are going to visit someone

and that person is already calling us and asking: "Well, will you be here soon? Are you coming?"

And you say: "I am leaving after 10 minutes", so "I will be there soon".

From where? From here. From there.

Weird sounds were coming from there.

And another example:

Go away from here!

From where? From above. From beneath.

Imagine a tall man and a small woman.

He looks down at her from above, and she looks up at him from beneath.

Another example:

A TV fell down from above. Apparently someone threw it through the window.

From where? From the front and from the back.

He walked/came to me silently from behind and scared me.

A scene from a horror movie.

The group of zombies was approaching me from the front, and mad dogs - from behind.

From where? From the left. From the right.

You can come from the left or right, i.e. from the left or right side, or look from the left or right.

For example:

Strong wind blows from the right.

It blows from the right side.

Another example:

A car hit me (my car) from the left. (A car crashed into me from the left).

By the way someday you may hear a silly phrase "from a cammel" as an answer to the question "where from".

Where from? From a cammel!

Usually people give this answer to kids, when they don't want to explain how (where from) something appeared.

Sometimes in an informal situation people may give such an answer to an adult as well.

There are also funny responds to a question "why"

For example: why? because it ends on "u"

or: why? because that's why (just because).

My neighbor loves to say it. Any time you ask him "why?", he will say "because that's why!" and that's it, there is no need for other arguments.

Let's go further. "Куда?"

"Куда" we can translate into English as "where to", i.e. we mean here direction.

For example:

Where are you going?

or

Where did you go on vacation the last year?

Let's go through all the words on the picture one more time.

Where to? Home.

Where are you going?

And another example:

It is time for me to go home.

It is time for me to go where?

It is time for me to go home.

Where to? To here. To there.

For example:

Bring a chair here.

And another example:

I don't want to go there.

Where to? Up. Down.

For example:

She got tired, so she went upstairs to her room.

Give up the еlevator, go up and down using the stairs.

In a lift you hear such a question:

You have to go back.

According to a bombshell new report, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry may be hiding a pretty

huge secret from the world.

The actress is pregnant with the Royal Hunk's first child, if certain cover stories are

to be believed.

But a baby on board isn't the only secret Markle and Harry are trying to keep from fans

across the globe.

Photos published by E! News make it evident that Harry actually paid a visit to Markle

on Wednesday night.

He tried to sneak into Markle�s Toronto home while carrying a duffel bag and wearing

a baseball cap down low on his head.

Alas, paparazzi were on the scene and snapped these pictures of the prince acting like a

ninja.

(A ninja who is totally smitten, we should say!)

The last time we saw Harry and Meghan together, they were in attendance at a wedding in Jamaica.

Multiple sources confirmed last month that Markle integrated herself well with Harry�s

close friends during this romantic gathering.

Meanwhile, the question that continues to circulate around the gorgeous Suits star and

her beloved famous beau is when they'll be the ones walking down the aisle.

Might they steal a beautiful page from the nuptials of Harry's pal in March?

�He loved the way his friend got married, in the sun by the beach and is now considering

it himself," a source close to the couple previously told Radar Online.

Such a destination wedding would spit in the face of Royal tradition, of course, but Harry

has never been a conformist.

"Harry isn�t your typical Prince,� this same Radar source said, giving examples as

to why this is the case:

�We have seen him naked in Vegas and now he is dating an American actress...

Hey, when you look like Prince Harry, you can get away with nearly anything!

Markle and Harry started to date last summer.

They went public with their romance a few months later, after harassment of the actress

reached such levels that Kensington Palace had to actually issue a statement.

It referred to Markle as Harry's "girlfriend" and it basically told critics to shut the

eff up and let these people live their lives.

Simply being a celebrity does not mean one must suffer through endless insults and even

death threats online.

"Harry is truly in love.

They're very serious," reported an E! source in January, adding that he could easily see

the couple getting engaged some time this year.

And that's coming from E! News, not some shady supermarket tabloid.

Of course, the next Royal Wedding will center on Pippa Middleton and take place on May 20.

There's been talk that Markle isn't invited to Pippa's big day because the bride does

not want to be shown up by another woman.

This is ridiculous because Pippa is one of the planet's best looking human beings.

But we'll keep our eye on those in attendance next month and report back on whether Markle

is included.

and apothecary, before writing down four-line poetic verses called �quatrains� which

seem to have predicted numerous events in the future.

In addition to writing numerous prophetic texts, Nostradamus is known for having written

at least two books on medical science.

One of his most famous works is, without a doubt, the �Les Prophecies�.

The first edition of Nostradamus� work appeared in 1555 and ever since the publication of

Les Prophecies, Michel de Nostredame, aka Nostradamus, has been credited with predicting

major world events.

His second piece was published in 1557 and contained a total of 289 prophetic verses

for the future.

Nostradamus� third edition was printed in 1558 containing 300 quatrains however according

to reports it now only survives as part of the omnibus edition that was published after

his death in 1568.

This version is believed to have one unrhymed and a total of 941 rhymed quatrains written

by the French seer and compiled into nine sets of 100 and one of 42, called �Centuries�.

Among the most notary predictions�that according to many were accurately foreseen by the great

Nostradamus�are the French Revolution, Adolf Hitler�s rise to power and 9/11.

However, not only did Nostradamus get all of that right, it is believed that the 16th-century

prophet even managed to predict Trump�s presidential win: �The great shameless,

audacious bawler.

He will be elected governor of the army: The boldness of his contention.

The bridge broken, the city faint from fear.�

Now, it is believed that when Nostradamus spoke about the Anti-Christ he was referring

to the newly appointed, 45th president of the United States: Donald Trump.

Those who have followed the predictions by Nostradamus firmly argue that Trumps it the

Anti-Christ who will cause World War 3, and to back up their claims they point to the

following verses written down by Michel de Nostradame hundreds of years ago:

In an article about Nostradamus, Evans concluded: �Is Donald Trump really the Antichrist who

will cause World War III, a nuclear war or biological warfare sustaining for 27 years?

No one can be certain about this; however, I am pretty sure right now is the start

to Nostradamus� prediction of the apocalypse.�

Meghan Markle has another piece to add to her collection of monogrammed jewelry.

On Thursday, the Suits star was spotted wearing a delicate gold ring with Prince Harry�s

initial on it.

The couple is known for sharing their affections for one another with matching bracelets and

matching cashmere beanies. In December, Markle wore a monogrammed �H & M� necklace from

Maya Brenner.

And despite the royal arriving at her home in Toronto the night before, the yoga-loving

actress made sure not to miss a session the very next day.

Markle clutched her yoga mat as she made her way to class in ripped jeans, a blue shirt,

black rain jacket from Soia & Kyo and a black hat. She also carried her trusty Goyard grey-printed

tote. Harry was pictured arriving at Markle�s home in Toronto Wednesday night wearing a

baseball hat and carrying a large duffel bag over his shoulder.

The jet-setting couple will lay low in Canada over Easter weekend after a busy few months

of traveling together. They took in the sights of Norway this winter and recently soaked

up the sun in Jamaica during the wedding of one of Harry�s closest friends.

So this is the "Getting Back to Booktube" tag

The reason I'm making this

is because obviously I've been gone

from booktube for a while and so I

decided I would just make this my

reintroduction to booktube

If I was never

really part of the community, is it a reintroduction?

We'll talk about that later

But there are five

questions in this tag

So let's get started with the first one

Question number one is

Why haven't you been making videos

And I have kind of been making videos in a way

Just because I film videos

and don't upload them, doesn't

mean I'm not making videos.

I've become a

perfectionist slightly with my videos

and I wanted to make videos that I enjoy

that I think are good

I want to make videos that I'm proud of

So I kind of took a break

from video-making in a way

trying to make some videos here and there

but it just never worked because I just wanted

them to be better, I guess, than they were.

That's what I'm doing now.

I've learned how to edit at least a little bit

and then the other thing is

I got super overwhelmed with

life in general for about a year

It started with us moving and less than a month and

then we had to take care of my grandfather's

affairs after he passed away and

we've been staying with my great-grandmother taking care of her

and just recently we had to move again

but this time in like a week

we just had to outdo ourselves

Life has just been throwing lots of curveballs lately

and I think it's finally starting to settle down

and maybe I can get back into making videos

it is a little difficult, in my current situation

because there's no real place to film

videos and I kind of just have to be like,

"Okay, people are gonna hear me. Oh, well."

but I don't want people to hear

my un-edited thoughts

Question number two is

what have you missed about making videos/booktube in general?

here we come back to something I said earlier

that being that I've never really been a part of the community.

I've been making and posting videos

for a few years. I've been lurking

I watch the videos and I make videos

but i'm not really a part of the community.

I just lurk on the fringes here.

So really, I can't miss anything

about booktube. I still have been

watching the videos that other people post

and I've tried to make stuff and I've tried to read

but it just didn't work out.

What I have missed about making videos thoug is

the creative aspect of it. It was very

creative for me to make these videos and

have that sort of outlet

and now that I'm editing, I have a technical outlet

because I do really enjoy technical things

for example, I love spreadsheets

I'm a big weirdo on that

well editing has a very similar

technical sort of approach to it

so it can kind of feed that side of me that

likes the technical aspect of things

while the creative side is also doing stuff

plus, making videos has really

helped with my anxiety. I've gotten

more used to speaking and not feeling weird

about it and that's something I've kind of

lost in this period of not making video

20-years-old and I can't have a conversation.

I just don't know how

but making videos was also a big part of

accepting my own face

That's an endeavor all unto itself

Question number three is

what are some books want to read even

though the hype has died down

you've been otherwise unable or unmotivated to read them?

that's a long question

really, I want to read all the books but

I can't think of any specific. Just all of them

I'll be doing a TBR of sorts. I have it in my

plans but who knows when it will actually get done.

Question number four is

In a perfect world, what are your reading and

upload schedule like?

In a perfect world, I would be finishing a book every week

reading consistently every day and

I would upload almost every day, if not

every day because it would be easier to

make videos that I enjoy. That would be

the perfect world but realistically I'm

just hoping for one video upload a week

expanding the channel so that it's not

just books because I have a kind of type-cast

myself into the role where I can't make anything else

and I want to change that

I want to make other videos about other

things I've been doing like learning

sign language and DIYing t-shirts

and other stuff that I can't think of

right now but I want to expand

and realistically I just want to be

reading consistently every day even if it's a

small amount because I just didn't do it the

longest time so I need to do better about reading more often.

Question number five is

why do you want to stay on the tube and not quit?

The answer to this is all the reasons I've said previously.

I enjoy it

it's creative

it gives me a technical outlet now

it's just all around great

and I love having a platform to discuss specific things.

and I haven't not been making videos

because it's not fun

I've been not been making videos because I haven't

been putting in the effort

or maybe it's just been a valid exuse

I don't know

but that's all the questions in this

because that would be bad
