Waching daily Apr 14 2017

For a moment ..

I thought it was all a horrific nightmare.

Maybe it was some.. kinda sick joke that the world was playing on me.

But..

Each morning

I would have to accept the ugly truth that he was now gone.

It happened all so suddenly.

He was just here..

With me..

And the next , his death was being broad-casted all over the news.

It hurts me to even accept the fact that he was never coming back.

But it hurt even more to not know who had did this.

That was the hardest part of all.

And now..

Today is going to be even harder.

We come here today to celebrate the life of Saint

A young man who passed away before his time.

May us all bow our heads and just remember all the great moments and times we had with him.

Even if you didn't know him personally.

Just pray for his family.

MY BABY!

NOOO!!

[Sobbing]

Liberty?

I thought I recognized that beautiful face.

Hey Ms. Smith

How are you?

It's not easy but you know..

I have always been strong..

It's hard for both of us..

I know baby..

But listen..

I thought you would want to have this.

Just something to remember him by.

I know you two cared a lot about each other.

I could never get that boy to shut up about you.

Thanks Ms.Smith..

No problem doll face.

You stay safe..

[Music]

Listen Saint if you don't pull your grades up by next week you can kiss any kind of scholarship you have goodbye.

Academics is everything when it comes to being an professional sports player.

You're senior

If you want any kind of opportunity at a full round scholarship. You need to strike NOW!

So what you expect me to do?

Hi.

Hey... I need your help.

What's your name?

Liberty..

You don't talk too much, do you?

I like to remain a mystery.

I like that..

Okay.. so does anyone want to tell me what the 'Diary of Anne Frank' was about?

How about you Liberty?

Oh.. Um..

The diary of a young girl is based on a young girl named Anne Frank who was jewish and hid out with her family.

During World War II to escape from the Nazi's from being put into a concentration camp.

But..

After 2 years they we're found and deported to the concentration camp and they all died except for her father Otto.

And her diary was found and it became pretty..famous..

Why you even call on her?

You know her ass ain't got better things to do than sit in her room all day and read.

You ever been in a fight?

That was random.

I just notice how Cameron be talking to you sometimes.. It ain't right.

Isn't she your girlfriend?

Fuck said that?

Everybody..

Nah.. She ain't my type..

Well.. What is your type?

So, the key to having the upper hand in a fight is to literally hit below the belt.

For a female that is..

So..

Tackle me..

WHAT!?

You're crazy.

Do it.

I'm not tackling you.

I knew you ain't have it in you.

Oh, really?

Yeah..

Anytime you need me for anything. I'm always gonna be here for you Lib.

I'm always gonna be here for you too.

And the other thing you said..

[Giggles]

I can't believe he's gone..

Saint..

I'm so sorry about your dad.

Come here..

[Car Horn]

[Car Horn]

[Car Accelerator]

[Car peeling off]

[Heavy Breathing]

You okay?

Um..

Get up.

Thank you for that.

You look a little distraught.. You alright?

Oh..

Yes sir. I'm fine.. I was just..

Thinking about a lot and zoned out and I just..

Froze.

I could've been dead right now had you not saved me.

Yeah.. I was walking out of the store when I saw the car coming.

After a couple seconds I could see you wasn't there and decided to help out.

Well thanks again sir.

I should get going..

Don't be so modest..

Just call me Supreme.

You want to join me for some breakfast at Ihop?

You seem like you could use some good food.

It's on me.

I don't really talk to strangers.. Sorry.

Well.. Aren't all friends strangers the first time when you meet them?

Slow down..

Here, drink something. Don't need you choking on them pancakes.

Sorry, I haven't eaten anything all day.

Must be a rough day for you.

It is..

But..

I rather not talk about it.

I wasn't going to ask.

I'm a bit of the same way when I'm upset. I just try my best to forget about the situation no matter how unhealthy it is.

Yeah.. Me too.

So are you going to tell me your name? Or do I have to do a background check for that.

[Chuckles]

It's Liberty.

Usually people don't care.

It's not about people caring. It's about you being assertive.

You should want people to know who you are.

Yeah.. I guess you're right.

So...

Um..

Is this something you do all the time?

Do good deeds for people who seem like they need help.

I wouldn't say I'm a bad man but I wasn't exactly getting gold stars for my behavior during my time if you follow.

People change.

You have a good spirit.

Pretty sure that bike of yours got banged up after that incident.

It's okay, I live right down the road from here.

You sure?

Yeah..

Thanks for the food and everything

I really appreciate it Supreme.

Anytime you need anything just give me a call.

Liberty!

Liberty...

What!?

Where the hell have you been?

I've been calling you non-stop all weekend and you haven't answered any of my calls.

And you wasn't even in school today.

I decided to skip.

Who are you?

Because I never known you to skip a day of school in your life.

I know you have a lot on your plate right now but..

You really just going to sit up here and throw away your education.

And ignore your best friend since second grade?

I can deal without listening to your broken English for a couple of days Mya.

Wow..

You know what Liberty..

I'm just going to give you your space.

I only came to check on you to remind you that dance classes start to tomorrow at Mrs.Smith Dance Studio.

I thought maybe dancing would take your mind off of everything. Seeing as though that's what friends do.

[Sigh]

Mya..

Dammit.

Uh.

What are you doing here at my house Cameron?

Matter fact. How the hell do you even know where I live?

Relax..

I came to talk to you about something important.

Your life..

May depend on it.

Please.. I don't have time for this.

A lot of people think..

You set Saint up.

You got to be kidding me right?

It's just a stupid rumor!

Look!

I know that we never got a long.

But believe it or not.

I don't think you had anything to do with it either.

But people around here do.

Wow..

And isn't that the same chain Saint was wearing when they found him dead?

Yes. It is.

I gave Saint this the night before he left for Florida for his birthday.

His mother gave it back to me at the funeral to remember him by.

Listen..

I don't think you would do anything as far as to set Saint up.

Because I simply don't think you have it in you.

GEE. Thanks!

It's a compliment.

And I honestly think that you loved him

Almost just as much as I did.

But you may just want to watch who you talk to from now on.

Because people will try to flip the script on you.

Thanks Cam.

How did this rumor even come about anyway? I would think I would be the last person people would be talking about.

As far as I know..

According to them.

You we're the last person to be with Saint the night before he disappeared.

But.. How did they even know I was with him in the first place-

[Scoffs]

[Banging on Door]

Who the hell is this?

BOY! That better not be that damn police at my door for you again!

I ain't even do nothing!

Where's your sister?

Come out back. I've been meaning to talk to you

Just come out back.

If this is about everyone thinking that I set up Saint.

I know already.

Cameron told me.

Yeah.. I heard about that too.

Look.

I honestly think that you should just need to lay low for awhile..

I know you didn't do anything but people out here have so much love for him that they are out here ready to blow off the head of the first suspect they hear about.

Kevin..

You we're one of his closest friends.

You can't talk any sense into them or nothing?

The streets have a code Liberty.

Shoot first ask questions later.

It's a stupid code I know but that's just how these N- operate.

I've already told most of them that you would never do anything like that.

But.. I can't speak for everyone else.

Saint had love everywhere and unfortunately I can't talk sense into all these people.

Are you saying I basically have a hit on my head?

Relax.. I'm not saying that.

But

I will say. Watch your back.

I never told you this but..

When you two first met. Saint made me promise that if anything ever happened to him that I would never let anything happen to you.

I just never thought it would happen so soon.

I'm sorry Kev.

I know this is hard on you.

Yeah.. but it's cool I learned a long time ago how to suppress my emotions.

I guess the only thing I can do is make sure that you're safe.

Thanks.

But you wouldn't even have to do this if your sister would have just kept her big mouth shut.

What you mean?

I asked Camren why did everyone think I set up Saint.

And she told me because I was the last person to be with Saint before he went missing.

The only person who knew that was Mya because I told her.

Don't worry about it. I'll talk to her.

No need.

So first you blow me off and now you're in my backyard talking crap about me?

Well I wouldn't have much to say about you if you learned how to keep your big ass mouth shut!

What are you even talking about?

Everyone thinks that I set up Saint because you went around telling everybody about us being together that last night he was found alive!

I didn't go around telling everybody.

Jasmine and I we're just having a talk.

And I told her how worried I was about you and the night ya'll spent together before he passed.

Jasmine!?

You told Jasmine of all people!?

You know that girl loves to start gossip!

I'm sorry. If I would have known this would happen I would have never spoken a word to her in the first place.

Well that's not going to change anything is it?

I'm out of here.

Liberty, I'm sorry!

Whatever.

Don't go to school tomorrow.

Why not?

Out of sight. Out of mind.

But I have dance classes after school.

I'm not saying for you to completely stop living your life Liberty.

But just give it a couple of days.. I'm sure it won't affect you.

Alright.

Thanks Kev.

No problem. Stay safe.

[Car peeling off]

Okay everyone. Thank you all for showing up on the first day of dance classes.

So the first thing we are going to do is get to know each other through dance.

I will call you all up one by one and you can play any song of your choice and dance any genre you like.

Understood?

Good.

Let's begin.

[Heartbeat]

Oh my God.

She's okay. She's still breathing.

Did you eat anything today baby?

Are you dehydrated?

I ate before I got here.

Go get a drink of water.

I'm just glad you're okay.

How are you feeling?

I'm okay. I don't know what happened back there.

You said you ate something right?

Yeah but for some reason for the past few days I haven't been able to keep anything down.

I think it's because of all this stress.

You sure it's not something else?

What do you mean?

I hate to bring this up but..

Did you and Saint use a condom that night?

I mean I don't really remember.

But it can't be that.

It might not.

But, you want to make sure.

I know you're stressed out and all but for you to be throwing up in the past few days sounds a bit weird.

Fine.

Cool.

We will ditch school together tomorrow.

Now you have me worried Mya.

Relax. It's just a test.

Alright.

See you tomorrow.

We going to go in here and get right back out.

I feel nauseous.

Chill.

You have nothing to worry about unless the test comes back positive.

Which one do I get?

Get the first response

Too pricey.

I'll get the Clearblue.

It's like the same price.

It's a .99 cent difference.

Whatever. Let's get it and get out of here.

This is it for you?

$10.89.. Thank you!

How is everything going in there?

I haven't even peed on it yet.

Well hurry it up.

Alright. I'm doing it.

Hey.

Liberty.

I know we never really resolved anything but.. I want to apologize for telling Jasmine about you and Saint.

The last thing I would think was that people would hate you for it.

And try to use it against you.

I'm sorry too.

I should've never pushed you away.

You was only being my best friend.

And it wasn't your fault Mya. People are just stupid and looking for any reason to avenge Saint's passing away.

To be honest.

I don't blame them.

But.

Still, you didn't do anything wrong.

It doesn't matter.

I don't know what I am going to do.

I'm only 17 and I can't go back to that school with everyone looking at me crazy.

Trust me.

Kev loves you like a little sister.

He would do anything to protect you.

Saint always protected me and yeah I have Kevin but it's not exactly his job to watch after me.

I just hate to put such a burden on him.

No such thing.

Let's take your mind off of that.

What does the test say?

I can't even look at it right now Mya.

Here. You do it for me.

Fine give it to me-

[Glass Breaks]

What the hell was that?

Get back Liberty!

How did they even know where I live!

How did they get in!? It's a gated community!

Well at this point it could be anybody but we got bigger fish to fry.

Liberty.

You're pregnant!

Is Batman: The Video Game (Genesis) Still Good? - IMPLANTgames - Duration: 16:50.

Is Batman: The Video Game still good?

Batman: The Video game is a side scrolling action game developed by Sunsoft and released

on the Sega Genesis in 1991.

Sunsoft released a Batman game on a variety of platforms of the day, including the NES,

Game Boy, PC Engine, and the Sega Genesis.

Curiously, all 4 games are completely different beasts, rather than being ports of a source

version.

Therefore the Genesis game is unique to the Sega hardware.

Like the other versions, Batman: The Video Game for the Sega Genesis was met with positive,

though awkwardly written, reviews:

Electronic Gaming Monthly scored the game an 8 out of 10 noting, "It's great, but

not the best.

Once again, another simple game for the Genesis.

The gameplay is true to the movie plot and scenery, but the bosses are too easy and don't

last very long.

Anyway, Batman is a lot of fun and full of huge levels to keep you busy.

Solid."

Sega Pro magazine agreed giving the game an 8.5 out of 10 stating, "Graphically, Batman

the game is really in tune with its film counterpart.

The music playing through, though not the original, is obviously inspired by the movie

soundtrack.

Gameplay is great fun, but rather dated, although there's plenty of variety here!"

So, is Batman: The Video Game still this good?

Let's dive in.

Batman: The Video Game opens with a massive amount of scrolling text outlining the plot

from the feature film.

The background image does occasionally change but as an endless wall of text doesn't make

for interesting review footage.

I'd encourage you to go watch the excellent movie rather than listen me try to explain

the details.

The adventure begins at Gotham City Street where the player learns the controls.

Batman's move set is pretty standard.

He can jump and double jump, punch, leg whip, and throw a limited amount of batarangs.

If I'm honest, you could swap the Batman sprite for just about anything, change the batarang

to a gun or maybe ninja stars, and the game would still work exactly the same.

This level is also extremely linear, with no vertical movement whatsoever, just a simple

path from left to right.

You will notice some control quirks however.

Sometimes jumping into an enemy will kill them, other times Batman takes damage.

Additionally, sometimes a single punch will knock out an enemy, other times it takes two.

I'm sure there must be a logical reason for these quirks, but even after multiple playthroughs,

I couldn't figure it out.

With the gameplay and level 1 out of the way, we move onto the first boss fight.

There may be a pattern to memorize here, like jumping over the boss and punching his back,

but the game provides enough batarangs to dispatch this foe, with guaranteed hits as

long as you are crouching.

From here we are off to the Axis Chemical Plant.

Now is a good time to talk about the grappling hook, which is the most Batman thing, found

in Batman: The Video Game.

On designated platforms Batman can stick a grappling hook and launch upwards.

The level design occasionally requires this, with clues in the level geometry tipping off

the player.

The double jump also becomes mandatory in some jumping segments, giving Batman a boost

in horizontal trajectory.

Same as before, the level ends with a boss fight.

This isn't much of a fight if I'm honest as a single hit will dump Jack into the large

vat.

Our next stop is the Flugelheim Museum.

While the structure of the game doesn't change much here, some new obstacles are introduced,

including the addition of light platforming as well as chandeliers dropping from the ceiling.

Sometimes these are triggered by the player, other times they follow a preset pattern.

In either case, the addition of hazards does increase the difficulty, as you need to avoid

both incoming gunshots in addition to the obstacles, to make it through.

It's also worth noting if you die, you don't restart the level, but rather respawn where

you left off.

In any case, this third level features two bosses.

The first is a ninja styled enemy.

I found the best way to take this one down was to perform a double jump, making sure

to land just past the opponent.

The enemy will take damage from the cape, and allow the player to get past unscathed.

If you do it wrong, you'll land in front of the enemy and take damage.

I'm not sure if this is how the developer's intended this fight to go, maybe you're supposed

to jump over the boss and then strike, but this seemed to work with the least amount

of risk.

After this is a second fight.

The patterns found here are also basic.

Simply move out of the way after the belly flop attack, and then punch.

That's it.

Next, a cut-scene is finally shown, with Batman rescuing Vicki Vale.

It's not much, but a nice nod to the film.

Batman then cruises around in the Batmobile in Gotham City Street.

This plays like a horizontal shmup, and in my opinion isn't too bad.

Batman has unlimited ammunition and the batarang changes to guided missiles.

Between the two it's a straightforward exercise to defeat the waves of cars and vans.

Thankfully, the various tanks do pose a challenge, with attack patterns requiring some memorization.

The same goes for the boss.

This is challenging at first, but once you memorize the simple pattern, it isn't too

bad.

The level is not over however, and the action returns to the side scrolling variety.

There isn't much to say here.

There are a few different clown enemies with different attacks.

Some just somersault backwards, making them easy targets.

Others blow fire, requiring some timing, and others jump kick, making them the trickiest.

The boss fight on the other hand, is ridiculously easy.

All you need to do is let the ninja run underneath Batman, and then attack.

The boss will even jump over Batman after taking damage, saving the player the trouble

of enemy avoidance.

Simply repeat this two-step process until the boss's lifebar runs out.

After making it through this onslaught, we move onto In the Sky over Gotham City.

This is another vehicle level, but in the Batwing.

It plays much like the Batmobile stage, except there is a little bit of delay in the jet's

movement.

I assume this is a realistic nod to aero physics and there is not any lag.

In any case, Batman again has unlimited standard ammunition along with limited guided missiles.

The final boss encounter is about as basic as it gets.

This is the last of the vehicle segments and Batman makes his way to the Gotham Cathedral.

I mentioned at the beginning of the video Batman: The Video Game could be a ninja game

with a few sprite swaps, and the first section of Gotham Cathedral feels like it's ripped

straight out of the original Shinobi.

There are two distinct levels to play through, with various obstacles and enemy placements

requiring Batman to move up and down between the two levels.

After the Shinobi section is a boss rush.

Nothing changes here, except for some color differences.

If you struggled with the previous boss encounters, this part may be challenging, but if you've

already memorized the patterns of each, the boss rush is a breeze.

Next the player makes their way up a large tower.

The grappling hook is a necessity here, challenging the player to time its use correctly to avoid

the bombs enemies are throwing in addition some fire breathing statues.

The small platforms and aggressive enemies make this a worthy final level.

And of course when you reach the top, the Joker is waiting for you.

Like all of the other bosses presented thus far, The Joker is extremely easy to beat.

I found jumping just in front of him at the edge of the screen repeatedly seemed to yield

the best results.

Try anything else and you'll quickly be mowed down by one of two devastating attacks.

After this, the Joker is defeated, and another wall of text is presented marking the end

of the game.

Then of course, the credits roll.

As you would expect from a Sunsoft game, the graphics are pretty good.

The sprites are large and detailed, backgrounds look nice, and there are few technical issues

to speak of.

Batman himself is well animated.

The walking animation is a bit stiff, but matches the source material well enough.

I also like how there always seems to be an extra frame of animation in everything Batman

does.

When in the air, there are a couple of frames as the knees are tucked.

Same goes for jumping, with a quick frame where Batman builds momentum.

Even the enemies are well animated.

That isn't to say every level is a looker, and the game occasionally looks bland, but

the dark tone of the film is carried throughout the adventure and I find it quite appealing.

The highlight however, has to be the music.

The compositions are lengthy, the melodies are catchy, and the synthesized instruments

sound rich and warm.

There is a little bit of Genesis twang here and there, but nothing here is grating in

the slightest and Batman: The Video Game is one of the better third party soundtracks

found on the Sega hardware.

So, with all of that out of the way, we arrive back to the question asked at the beginning

of the video, is Batman: The Video Game still good?

First, I am not going to compare this to the NES classic, or the Game Boy game which I

enjoy quite a bit.

I simply want to look at the game as it is, regardless of how it stacks up to the others.

On the surface, there is a lot to like with Batman: The Video Game.

The game is true enough to the source material, like using set pieces from the film and does

a decent job mixing in the enemy design from the movie with some new creations.

The variety is nice as well, with plenty of action, some platforming, and two different

vehicles to drive.

Combine this with some above average visuals and an outstanding soundtrack, and Batman:

The Video Game makes a good first impression.

However, as I continued to make my way through the game, I wasn't finding the actual gameplay

all that compelling, and after the new car smell wore off, I found Batman: The Video

Game to be completely lacking in depth.

As I noted, the hit detection on the enemies is inconsistent.

Sometimes taking one punch, other times two and the jump attacks are spotty at times.

But this is just the tip of the iceberg.

Many of the enemies are randomly generated.

There are two areas where this is an issue.

At the Axis Chemical Plant, the game teaches the player to jump on crates to avoid sliding

enemies.

It's a theme that gets reinforced throughout the level.

But because the enemy drops are random, sometimes they spawn before making it to the next crate.

Your instincts say jump, but you hit your head, drop to the ground, and take damage.

You'll later learn to try and leg whip them, but this is often easier said than done.

Things get worse in the Flugelheim Museum.

The player has to run underneath the falling chandeliers, and must also stop and duck under,

or jump over, incoming fire.

Once there are two or three enemies on the screen, the player is forced to take damage.

The enemy fire is independent of the chandelier drops or each other, and there are no patterns

to learn to reach success.

It just feels sloppy.

Other times, this random style does work: when there are two different levels to maneuver

through, and no timing based obstacles to avoid.

Here, the player has enough room to dodge the randomness, and the gameplay is a lot

more engaging as a result.

But the issues with the enemies don't stop there.

Some enemies are static, meaning they will be in the same spot, every time, no matter

what.

This is obviously a good thing, as the designers put thought into how enemies interact with

the environment.

This creates timing elements where the player has to plan an attack, which I like.

It also forces the player to utilize different attacks, like using the batarang instead a

jump attack or melee attack.

These are bright spots in Batman: The Video Game, but are sadly few and far between.

Sometimes these static enemies are not thoughtfully placed.

Here, these axe throwing guys will quickly mow down Batman while the player needs to

deal with a moving horizontal platform, along with a vertical platform.

To make matters worse, everything respawns.

If you fall down, you'll have to refight all of the previous enemies you took out.

Even stranger, power-ups respawn.

Be it extra batarangs or extra lives.

There are two instances I found where I could max out my life counter due to this feature.

First is in the Flugelheim Museum.

Simply backtrack down this tower section, and repeatedly collect life power-ups until

you reach 9.

Later on are three lives in the cathedral.

You do have to fall down a platform to collect them, and because you respawn right where

you dropped off, you can keep falling until you have a full stock of lives again.

Perhaps the developers intended this as a reward for attentive players, but I suspect

not.

You can choose to have 3, 5, or 7 lives per continue in the option screen, but the respawning

extra lives negates this entirely.

Speaking of continues, Batman: The Video Game does have them.

They are not unlimited, but there are more than enough for a gamer of average skill to

finish the game without much of an issue.

Normally I like a healthy continue system in my retro game, but as Batman: The Video

Game is both short, clocking in at 30 minutes or so and not terrible difficult, I'm not

sure it really matters either way.

Finally, I should dive into the two vehicle stages.

As I continued to play through these I began to notice some easy patterns.

In the Batmobile stage, almost every enemy can only fire forwards for example.

Therefore, if you stay at the same spot on the screen, you can quickly defeat what is

directly in front of you, and ignore the other enemies.

Not every enemy works this way, but the more complex enemies only show up one at a time,

making them easier to manage.

Still, ignoring a majority of the enemies isn't satisfying.

The Batwing level is even worse.

I noticed the Batwing would take minimal damage when crashing into an enemy.

I assume half a health point.

This is in stark contrast to getting hit with a projectile, which will zap away many heatlh

points.

Next, I realized little happens in the upper right hand corner of the screen.

I then combined these two facts and learned I could camp out in the upper right side of

the screen with little resistance.

Sure you'll get crashed into a couple of times, but there is basically no penalty.

The screen can be filled with enemies, and it really doesn't matter.

There is a trend of thoughtless enemy behavior through the entire adventure, and I can't

help but feel Sunsoft didn't put enough attention and care into one of the most crucial elements

of a side scrolling action game: the action!

Now I don't want to be too hard on the game because it isn't awful.

The jumping is a bit stiff, but the platforms are placed in ways perfectly fitted to the

limitations.

In fact, there is virtually nothing frustrating about this game at all, and no controller

throwing moment is ever presented.

There are even little things I really dig, like how the helicopters are lit from below

as they fly over Gotham City., or the sound of a swinging sword.

The bosses even have life bars, which is always a welcome touch.

And I like how Joker and Vicki Vale are seen in the background of this boss fight.

Sunsoft's attention to detail with the presentation is great, but I really wish this level of

care was put into the actual gameplay.

This lack of care can lead me to no other conclusion, Batman: The Video Game for the

Sega Genesis is not very good.

The enemy design is just too lousy.

Now I'm all for pattern recognition, and being rewarded for learning enemy behavior and exploiting

weaknesses.

The problem is exploiting enemy weaknesses doesn't take any skill in Batman: The Video

Game.

This fundamental flaw makes for an experience lacking any sort of engagement and therefore,

virtually no satisfaction for completing tasks and reaching goals.

The only saving grace is the game isn't broken, but even the amazing soundtrack can't mask

the fact Batman: The Video Game is at worst boring and at best, a below average, shallow,

side scroller.

How life changed in one moment for this Marine - Duration: 3:04.

My name is Andrew Richardson.

I was a corporal in the United States Marine Corps infantry

and now I'm a service engineer in Microsoft.

One of the things I found most valuable about

the Marine Corps was the sense of self-value,

and there is a certain confidence that comes out of that.

I'd finished my second deployment

about a year before I was getting out.

I didn't really think a lot about

what I was gonna be doing when I got out.

I just kind of thought that I would find a job

because I'm a Marine and life was gonna be easy,

and come to find out that's not really the case, you know.

You're now a 22 year old kid

that can hardly relate to anybody in the real world.

You have zero real world experience,

so it's a tough transition definitely.

So I was working at this place.

I was bartending there.

I didn't feel like I was contributing at all to society,

to myself, to family, and this couple walks in

and sit down at the bar, and come to find out

that the man that I was talking to was a Navy veteran,

so I shared with him that I was a Marine veteran

and he told me what he does for a living

and how he focuses on military affairs for Microsoft.

So he gave he his card and said,

"You know, you should really check out this program

called MSSA and it's this tech program

veterans and current military members can go to."

I had this sense that my life

had just changed in that one moment,

so I went ahead and contacted the course

down in Camp Pendleton.

I actually ended up getting a phone call about a week later

saying that a spot had opened up.

I quit my job, moved down to California a couple days later

and I started the course.

People are scared to be in the Marines, you know,

but Marines are scared to be a civilian,

and having gone back to base

and kind of reconnecting with some fellow Marines,

it was kind of like a healing process for me.

To be honest, I was a bit better when I had gotten out

because I felt life wasn't becoming

what I thought it was in my mind,

and realized that I kind of saw myself

in some of these Marines who were about to get out

about having that same attitude of,

"Oh, you know, I'll figure it out,"

and then I was able to take my experience

and share it with them and say,

"Hey, you know, life isn't as easy as you think it is.

You need to have a plan.

You need to be serious about this program,

because this could change your life."

I'd always had a passion for math growing up

and when I started this course,

I quickly noticed that there was a connection between

you know, writing code, programming, and math,

so as military members,

we have leadership and organizational skills.

Through the help of MSSA, they kind of bridge the gap

and help you leverage those skills

to make you more successful in the tech industry.

It can be scary, daunting,

thinking about being a civilian again.

If you have an interest in technology,

if you have an interest in, you know,

being a part of something bigger, being a part of Microsoft,

if you're getting exposure, you know,

try to, you know, apply to the course

and do the work and get in.

Now I have Microsoft on my resume

and it's an immediate stamp of approval, you know,

and you can kind of go anywhere and do anything

and it's life-changing and it's kind of up from here,

which, you know, hasn't always seemed that way.

前臂的練法(小手臂) (Subs) - Duration: 4:09.

Hello everyone.

Welcome to CobraCamp.

This week I will explain how to

train your forearm muscles.

This isn't as hard to train as you may think.

Today I'll show you two different ways to do it.

The first way could be done in your house

the other could be done using a pull-up bar

but the one you do in your house

can also be done at the gym.

you just need to switch what I will use to a dumbbell

so let's first do the pull-up way first.

Okay!

These two movements are different

because your forearm has this part.

As well as this part.

So they both need to be trained.

for the first movement you need to place your hand

on top of the bar.

The second movement is for the back of your forearm.

But for this movement your arm would turn a little

So you need to use something like this

put it on top of the bar

to allow your arms to turn.

Next

You can use a water bottle

you can buy this type of bottle from Welcome

or you can use a dumbbell from the gym.

Then similarly, your forearm front and back

both need to be trained.

So, you can place your forearm on your leg

then you can hold the bottle or dumbbell this way

just like this.

Focus on your forearms.

Then switch over to train the back.

You'll notice that forearms grow quickly

You don't need to use heavy weights

or need to do too many.

It becomes sore very quickly

so you need to be a little careful.

Don't overdo it when training forearms.

You probably can only do one or two sets a day

After you train your other muscle groups

just do a few sets of forearms.

Also, after you train your forearms to your

desired level you can stop

because like me, two years ago

I would train forearms a little everyday

but now, probably four years without training then directly

because you'll notice after you reach your desired level

you just need to do other exercises such as pull ups etc.

will also maintain the size of your forearms.

So this is how you train forearms.

So if you like the video.

HOW TO USE THE $2,000 LASER BEAM - Duration: 6:15.

Do you miss that first day when the R8 was super overpowered?

Is even the Bizon's recoil too high for you?

Are using beta branches of your game to test new changes far too complex?

Then fear not!

The $2000 laser beam is for you!

Since Valve obviously wants to see more of my guide videos, they did me the honor of

updating the negev.

So now I have to redo my guide video on it because the guns are drastically different

now.

So, let's compare it to the old guide!

"The negev's recoil is butt clenching high"

Non Existent.

There is literally none.

Out of all the guns in the game, the negev, now has no recoil.

"The negev is the most expensive gun in the game at $5700"

$2000.

A full auto laser beam...is now $2000

"You have to go for well timed bursts for it to be effective"

Hold mouse 1.

You have to hold mouse 1…

"The effectiveness on them scales up with the more of them you have on your team"

Even more so now.

For $2000 each, all 5 of you can literally spam down mid doors at a combined rate of

fire of 4,000 rounds per minute.

"If your team has 5 negevs in a competitive match, chances are you're in silver"

You're on a force buy.

It's actually cheaper than a rifle.

"You'll have to save because you wasted $9000 in a single round"

$3,000.

You only spent $3,000 because negev and armour is literally cheaper now than an M4

"I'm glad valve won't make a super overpowered gun like that again"

3 times.

This is now the third time that this has happened.

We have a beta client, yet valve decides to not use it for some reason.

Now that we've seen the basic differences, let's look at some of the new statistics

of the laser beam: Thankfully, the ammo capacity on it hasn't

changed.

After a magazine's worth of rounds, you'll still know when you're out of ammo because

of the severe case of tinnitus that you'll have.

It is now the heaviest weapon in the game, slowing your movement speed by 40%.

You'd move much faster if you were to simply ride around in an electric scooter with it.

The most drastic change to it is it's recoil.

For the first 15 rounds you can't hit the broadside of a barn.

Yet immediately afterwards it becomes a 100% accurate 0 recoil laser beam for some reason.

I dumbfounded by this logic too, but I learned to stop questioning Valve's stupid decision

making when they released the R8.

The recoil change is so out of pace for a game like counter-strike, you'd think you'd

be playing a game like call of duty.

Which is what I felt like when playing in community Deathmatch servers with infinite

ammo.

So you can just run around with a negev and feel like you have a Death Machine from Call

of Duty.

Just like the R8….shit, gonna have to redo that video now too.

Just like how the original R8 was statistically better than the deagle, but none of that mattered

because of it's long trigger pull made it useless in most 1v1 situations.

And the same thing can be said about the negev with it's odd recoil mechanic and how it

takes a while for it to become more accurate.

Except none of that matters because it's $2000.

It's actually a viable option for a forced buy now on CT cide.

Now after learning these new mechanics, Let's see what the csgo wiki has to say

about it: Disadvantages:

Highly inaccurate when burst fired.

If you want high burst-accuracy you should've just stuck to 1.6

Extremely inaccurate on its first 15 shots.

Neither is the average DMG in matchmaking but you don't see me complaining

Very high initial spread Now it does take 15 rounds for the negev to

become accurate, so it is impossible to hit anything at first, which seems bad, except

for the fact that it shoots at 800 rounds per minute so 15 rounds is nothing.

Extremely heavy That is true.

It's nearly useless on T side to be quite honest

Long reload time A 6 second reload time isn't that bad considering

the payoff is 150 rounds of uninterrupted, no recoil fire

Very expensive It's actually very cheap now.

Um, can one of the Gold-Novas from the wiki team update this.

Thanks.

Distinctive loud noise Quite the opposite.

You won't be able to tell that it's loud anymore after the first magazine because of

the severe case of tinnitus you'll have

Now let's go over my favorite force-buy strat on CT side that I like to call: Operation

Metro Just like in Battlefield, you're going to

need a machine gun with no recoil, and a smoke to spam with bullets so you can get easy kills

without the enemy even seeing you.

Now, if you don't have that much money on round 2, try not to worry too much because

you can glass cannon the negev in a sense if you only buy it and a smoke, and don't

buy any armour.

Normally you think this would be a terrible idea if you were to try doing something like

that with an M4.

But the key trick here is to throw down the smoke to hold B site…..and hold mouse 1.

Even if the other team knows that you don't have armour and the 5 of them should theoretically

be able to easily kill you if they just push, it quickly turns into one of those situations

of: "No you go first" Or if the other team is smart, one of them

will buy armour and have a teammate drop them a negev, and the rest of the CT's buys Five-Sevens

and push long.

By the time the smoke runs out on B and you try to push, the CT's will already be behind

you and you'll be boxed in with nowhere to go as you die to a bullet storm of Five-seven

and Negev spam.

And then you lose to another force buy round…..god I love this game

So, that's all there is to using the new-gev...or uh...negev 2.0?...the laser beam?...the "valve,

how did you manage to fuck this up again?", whatever you want to call it.

Tune in next time as I show you how to use the $1200 rifle, and remember: Valve makes

millions of dollars a year off this game.

Sonic Forces ANALYSIS - Classic Sonic Gameplay + 3rd Playable Character (Secrets & Hidden Details) - Duration: 6:08.

The recent Nintendo Direct was filled with games on their way to the Nintendo Switch

and among them was Sonic Forces.

While at first, it seemed like it would only showcase old footage, there was nearly 6 seconds

of our first look at Classic Sonic gameplay as well as a short tease for the mysterious

third playable character.

And that's more than enough for the old Analysis Machine to kick into gear.

So let's see what Classic Sonic can do.

The gameplay takes place in Green Hill Zone, returning yet again in a Sonic game.

However, it's not quite the same as we last saw it in Sonic Generations.

While it still has the checkerboard sides, sunflowers growing, and totems placed all

over including a particularly big one, the biggest change is the complete lack of water.

Instead, it's all been replaced by flowing sand which begs two questions.

Is this the Green Hill Zone of the past and Eggman somehow has control over all of time

or did Classic Sonic get transported to the Green Hill Zone of the present where Eggman

has somehow caused this change?

Unfortunately, there's no real way to know, but if we had to guess it's the latter option.

While the sand is strange, there's something that honestly has us a little more intrigued,

the Chopper-like Badniks that leap toward Sonic as he runs across the collapsing wooden

bridge.

Now we say Chopper but there are differences that could make it a brand new robot.

For one, it lacks the pupils of the most modern Chopper we've seen, which is from Sonic

Lost World.

Instead, it has solid yellow eyes.

But even that is weird.

Upon closer inspection, we can see that it has a black tail and what may be some kind

of cannon protruding from its mouth.

The white dots at least make it seem like the Badnik has teeth surrounding this protrusion.

Now, we made note in the last analysis that all of the enemies had glowing red eyes, but

this one doesn't.

At least not at first glance.

Because we can see a glowing red dot on its tail.

And this black end of its tail doesn't seem to be a natural continuation of the upper

portion.

Instead, it looks more like the skeletal structure of the fish.

Almost as if the Chopper-like top was just a loose piece of rubber draped over the frame.

We're confident that there's definitely something different with the enemies this

time around.

What it could all mean though is what we're not sure of.

Once again we have to wonder if Eggman really is control of all this despite Sega's story

summary.

Moving on, the rest of the stage shows Sonic in action where he's launched by a hidden

spring to continue on his way.

But the animation for this has changed since Generations with it mirroring Sonic's aerial

spin from Sonic CD as well as Sonic Mania.

And of course Sonic uses a speed booster to make his way through a loop.

But above we can see four Ring Monitors along with a Red Star Ring.

And on the left side is the platform that's likely used to reach the top which again indicates

that multiple paths will be available in the level.

However, as of right now, it doesn't seem like Sonic will be able to run on multiple

planes in this level.

There's nothing in the foreground or background that hints at him being able to travel there

instead of where he's currently at.

It's not that surprising, but we thought we'd take a look for it.

And that's really all there is to it when it comes to the Classic Sonic gameplay.

However, we were given a hint to the identity of the third playable character in Sonic Forces.

His silhouette can be seen against the backdrop of destruction.

So naturally, we wanted to try to identify him if possible.

The animal he's based on is impossible to tell, but we can see that he's only wearing

gloves and shoes.

He also has pointy ears and fur that juts out at his cheeks.

After looking through the multitude of Sonic characters, we think there's only two possibilities.

That is unless this is a brand new character entirely, which could certainly be the case.

Our first guess is an older Tails, possibly from the future.

After all, Classic Sonic is coming back from the past.

This character is wearing similar shoes and gloves.

But it's not exact.

He's missing the three tufts of hair on Tails' forehead though they may be hidden.

The fur at his cheeks is also different but more damning is the fact that we can't see

his twin tails.

Now it might be possible that they're hidden in the smoke, but we can't find them even

after messing with the contrast.

So unless they're purposefully hiding them or the story got really dark and Tails lost

his namesake, we don't think he'll be this character.

The other option is Antoine from the Archie comics.

Now granted, it's very rare for the Archie characters to appear in Sonic games.

The only time it really happened was during the bonus game in Sonic Spinball.

But for arguments sake, if they do merge the universes, it could be him.

His redesign has the pointy ears, somewhat similar cheek fur and the gloves and shoes.

However, we do run into trouble almost immediately because Antoine wears boots and these are

certainly not boots.

He's also missing his trademark belts and sword.

And we can't see his hair on top of his head.

So unless Sonic Team gave him another redesign, it doesn't seem to be him either.

It really keeps this new character a mystery.

Redesigns happen all the time so it could still be one of these two or a completely

character.

We really don't know.

But the possibilities are fun.

Either way, we can look forward to more information on Sonic Forces as E3 approaches.

We've only had the smallest of tastes so far, making it hard to judge, but we still

have hope for the quality of this game.

Of course, if we missed anything let us know in the comments.

If you liked this video, be sure to subscribe to keep up with everything we do.

Thanks for watching and make sure to stay tuned to GameXplain for more on Sonic and

other things gaming.

¿Qué hubiera pasado si Gokú, Gohan y Vegeta se transformaban en SSJ contra Freezer? | Parte 3 - Duration: 4:24.

Hi everyone. Acceptance of this theory has undoubtedly been enormous and, due to the support, today I bring the last part of what would have happened if Gokú, Gojan and Vegueta were transformed into Super Saiayin against Frízer. I say last part because I doubt that after this one, I will continue it, unless they support this last part quite well and I can think of something. Now with nothing more to say, let's begin. With the androids destroyed and the land in peace, Goku would never sacrifice against Cell so he would not train in the afterlife, which would cause him to never reach the phase of super saiayin three, however, if the super saiayin two. Of course, that with Gokú alive, Goten would train with his father, and would be stronger than in the original line when training with Gokú. Being sincere, very few events would change, except that Goten would manage to see Tronxs in the tournament and, like Mighty Mask, they would win the one of adults because eighteen did not participate and these would not be left with Mr. Satan. But, as for what happens with Goku and the others going to prevent Babidi from waking Mayin Bu, the one in charge of defeating Dabura would be Goku, because Gojan did not have such a high fighting power because he never got The Super Saiayin Two and, with his living father, did not see the need to continue training. On the other hand, it would happen the same as before with Gokú and Vegueta fighting in super saiayin two, and remaining as victorious vegueta. The awakening of Bu and the defeat of Gojan, The Kaioshin and the sacrifice of Vegueta. The biggest change would be seen being that, as Goku had no other option to defeat Mayin Bu and lacked any transformation or the method of fusion, he would see as the only alternative to take refuge with the sole purpose of waiting to have some solution, although Goku would decide Go in search of the tracker of the spheres. Again, there would not be so many changes in Bu's environment, as it would happen just as in the original line with him making friends with Satan and releasing his evil part. Meanwhile, Gojan, after training with the zeta sword, would not notice such a huge change, however, this time by the idea of Supreme Kaioshin, he would mention the son of goku to use the sword against the hardest metal in the universe. Here the Old Kaioshin would be released and, like the original line, he would release the potential of the Saiayin, so that later, the supreme kaioshin, would take him to earth to be able to fight against Super Bu. Goku and the others would realize that a being of enormous power had reached the earth, so that the zeta warriors would see who it was, running into nothing more than an unrecognizable Gojan. Goku, surprised by the power of his son, would know that the hopes lived. Gojan, because he knew he was the only hope in to defeat Mayin Bu, would not go with games and sweep the floor with him. His father, on the other hand, would demand of him to finish quickly with him. Gojan, after listening to his father, after several blows to Mayin Bu, would throw a Kame Jame Ja that would eliminate immediately. But good people, until here came this last part, which was shorter than normal. Before ending the video and sending the greetings, I clarify that I was inactive due to the beginning of classes and, in addition, the little desire I had to make a video for one reason or another, with this I also answered the reason why I could not answer Many comments lately. Nevertheless and despite being behind, I want to take advantage of this last line to thank you all because we are already more than forty thousand in the channel, I really thank you. Now with nothing more to say, let's go with greetings. Greeting to; Gojan theories Hache Dé, Andrey Crahs the most Crash, Lucy Olivera, Ezequiel Gomero, Leonel Lion, Caleb grandson, super frame bouquets of the super saiayin, Ayman Takfaoui, Veyito Super Saiayin Blu, Bulbacraft six forty-six, Ranber zori, Uriel Cárdenas, Son Gokú the saian, Kevin Andrés Ce Zeta, Crafter Alan IuTuv, Ronny one hundred one the nub pro and crack, Carlos Radamel, Brandy Sánchez, Sergio Flores, Mateo Erazo, Genario Ocho Gueimer, having houses, farid gueims, cesar ramos, Black super gokú saiayin rous, pritty banfield, Ricardo diaz, efrain rodriguez, omar guzman, and finally a big greeting for pikachu ex zeta. Now without more to say, goodbye ...!

Trump Dropping 'Mother of All Bombs' Triggered a Tweet That You NEED to See… - Duration: 3:27.

President Donald Trump's use of the MOAB… the Massive Ordnance Air Blast or "Mother

of all Bombs" in the vernacular, has sparked a lot of comment.

One would think that successfully killing ISIS would earn him praise even from the left,

but no such luck.

They chastised him anyway.

Some for example claimed dropping the bomb was "too expensive," others like Elizabeth

Warren claimed they didn't understand the purpose of it.

Let's see if we can explain it to her.

ISIS was in an entrenched position, blocking our way to freeing villages and defeating

ISIS.

Every time we tried to strike them, they hid in the tunnels.

So rather than send in American soldiers and have many of them die in the attempt, they

dropped the bomb that wiped out ISIS and tunnels.

See how simple that is, Liz?

What is an American soldier's life worth to you?

To me, money well-spent.

Here's someone from whom Warren could learn.

Johnny "Joey" Jones, veteran and double amputee who lost his legs in Afghanistan.

As David French at National Review notes:

Excessive American caution has cost American lives and American limbs, and it has left

families and friends of the victims with deep psychological wounds.

Those wounds would be grievous enough in the best circumstances, but they're compounded

by the fact that many of the decisions not to shoot, not to use artillery, or not to

drop bombs were based on a combination of rules of engagement and military misjudgments

that were transparently foolish at the time.

Trump brings a marked change from Obama.

While we don't yet have indications that the Trump administration has changed any rules,

it seems to have changed the mindset, and that could well not only make a concrete difference

in conditions on the ground but also in the minds and hearts of our own troops.

Soldiers tend not to respect timidity, and they generally have little patience for commanders

who seem to place public or political perceptions over their lives and limbs.

Watch this Trump statement carefully:

Trump, perhaps because he was a businessman knows how to delegate, plus he has respect

for the military unlike the disdain with which Obama approached all thing military.

He doesn't say he authorized the use of the bomb itself.

He says he authorizes the military.

This is a key, wise, statement — one that hopefully empowers the military to act from

a proper position of legal, moral, and political strength.

Obama was notorious for not only implementing strict rules of engagement but for vacuuming

an enormous amount of military decision-making authority straight to the White House.

It's hard to think of a more disempowering practice.

It's hard to think of a practice better calculated to lead to timidity in the field.

Trump seems to be bringing a change, and it's a change that's long overdue.

Obama hamstringed the military and it resulted in people dying, being wounded, failure to

reach military goals and win.

Respecting the military and allowing it to do its job is the only way to be successful,

thus, actually have fewer conflicts and war.

Let's learn the lesson Joey Jones is trying to tell us…

What has NASA found US Space Agency to make MAJOR announcement - Duration: 6:36.

What has NASA found US Space Agency to make MAJOR announcement

NASA has called for ANOTHER press conference to discuss another major discovery.

The conference will be attended by several members of the Cassini team, which raises

speculation among many that the announcement could be a revelation about Jupiters sixth

closest moon Europathe place where astronomers believe its most likely well find alien

life.

According to reports from the space Agency, the press conference scheduled at 14:00 ET

(19:00 GMT) on Thursday will discuss new results about ocean worlds.

Has NASA found traces of life in our Solar System?

According to the Space Agency, the press briefing will discuss findings from both the agencys

Cassini spacecraft and the Hubble Space Telescope.

In a statement on their website, NASA said that: These new discoveries will help inform

future ocean world exploration including NASAs upcoming Europa Clipper mission planned

for launch in the 2020s and the broader search for life beyond Earth.

The press conference will be held at NASAs James Webb Auditorium in Washington and will

be broadcasted live on NASA Television and the agencys website, which will allow experts

from all over the country to participate in the briefing.

It is believed that Jim Green, director of NASAs Division of Planetary Sciences will

attend the conference together with leading astrobiologists, scientists and astronomers

associated with the Space Telescope Science Institute in Baltimore.

Interestingly, the conference will be attended by several members of the Cassini team, which

raises speculation among many that the announcement could be a revelation about Jupiters sixth

closest moon Europa, ahead of the 2020 Europa Clipper mission, or Enceladus, the sixth-largest

moon of Saturn.

Jupiters moon Europa is one of the most interesting places in the solar system when

it comes to alien life.

As noted by Futurism, ever since the Voyager probes winged their way galaxy-ward, theres

been a great deal of speculation that Jupiters second moon, Europa, might harbor a warm,

liquid ocean beneath its piebald shell of red-and-white ice; recent observations with

the Hubble Space Telescope even suggest some of that water is escaping into space, in the

form of geysersakin to what we see on Saturns moon Enceladus.

Europa is located some 500 million miles from the sun and has an ocean beneath its surface

which many astronomers believe may be home to alien life.

Furthermore, Europa has more liquid water than we have on Earth.

Also, NASAs new announcement could also be related to the faint plumes of water that

were spotted escaping the moon in 2012.

Observations of Europa have provided us with tantalizing clues over the last two decades,

and the time has come to seek answers to one of humanitys most profound questions,

said John Grunsfeld, associate administrator of NASAs Science Mission Directorate.

By far the simplest explanation for this water vapor is that it erupted from plumes

on the surface of Europa, lead author Lorenz Roth of Southwest Research Institute in San

Antonio said when the plumes were first spotted.

If those plumes are connected with the subsurface water ocean we are confident exists

under Europas crust, then this means that future investigations can directly investigate

the chemical makeup of Europas potentially habitable environment without drilling through

layers of ice.

And that is tremendously exciting.

Using This One Trick, Trump Got the Mainstream Media to LOVE Him

by Jake Anderson

On Thursday, President Trump, who campaigned largely as a candidate opposed to unnecessary

foreign intervention, authorized a missile attack against Syria. As retaliation for a

gas attack allegedly carried out by the Syrian government, U.S. warships fired 59 Tomahawk

missiles at a Syrian airbase, reportedly killing six people.

Trump has been relentlessly attacked by the mainstream media since taking office, yet

in the wake of this unexpected escalation of the Syrian crisis, major news and media

networks responded with unmitigated support. In fact, the top five newspapers ran a total

of 18 opinion-editorial pieces, and not a single one was critical.

Trump has waged an ideological war against the mainstream news networks and newspapers

since taking office and has received consistent scorn from the neo-liberal media establishment.

But as usual, we find a rare instance of unified bipartisan support when it comes to war. The

New York Times, Washington Post, USA Today, Wall Street Journal and New York Daily News

allocated no space in their papers for a negative opinion of the missile strike.

Meanwhile, MSNBCs Brian Williams described the firing missiles as beautiful, using the

word three times and evoking a lyric from a Leonard Cohen song. On CNN, Fareed Zakaria,

the host of CNNs GPS, suspended his usual critique of the president to applaud

the move, going so far as to say the missile strike had the effect of officially making

Trump president.

For the first time really as president, he talked about international norms, international

rules, about Americas role in enforcing justice in the world, Zakaria said, describing

Trumps remarks on the attack.

While some U.S. allies expressed support for the missile strike, other countries were apoplectic.

Russia called it a flagrant violation of international law and an act of aggression

against Syria. North Korea has openly denounced Americas act of war, calling it an unforgivable

act of aggression against a sovereign state.

There was another group that expressed overwhelming dislike of Trumps act: his base. While

the neo-liberal and neo-conservative Washington consensus shared a rare moment of unity with

the usual bipartisan love of perpetual war in the Middle East many of Trumps supporters

took to popular alt-right sites like Infowars and Breitbart over the weekend to excoriate

Trumps misguided chess move, which many of them viewed as evidence that Trump

was manipulated by holdovers from the Bush and Obama administrations. More

More high-profile Trump supporters, like Ann Coulter, Milo Yiannopolous, Katie Hopkins,

right-wing vlogger Paul Joseph Watson, and many bloggers from Alex Jones Infowars

network strongly criticized Trumps seismic reversal of foreign policy.

Some, including Russias leader, Putin himself, believe he was manipulated by or the author

of a false flag attack; others merely contend he was convinced to use war as a lever

to increase his popularity and win points with the political establishment.

Regardless of which explanation you use (even if you think Trump really did it based on

geopolitical altruism), few things sound less like America First than spending tax

dollars to bomb a Syrian airfield.

And if Trumps abandonment didnt sting enough, his supporters arch-nemesis, Hillary

Clinton, had preemptively offered her support for a strike against Syria earlier that day.

For students of the neo-conservative agenda that has been playing out for nearly two decades

now, the push for war with Syria is far from surprising. In fact, shortly after his election,

I predicted Trump supporters would experience the same fall from grace that anti-war Obama

supporters stomached early in his administration: the realization that this country is locked

in an unending war against the Middle East. Wesley Clarks now-legendary breakdown of

how the United States would invade seven countries in five years continues to look like the bona

fide blueprint of an unstoppable war empire. And Syria whose central bank is state-owned,

who owes no IMF debt, and who has dropped the petrodollar is on the list.

Is Trump just the latest populist president to be conscripted into the Deep States

bloody chess match of economic imperialism? With our invasions and military operations

in Iraq and Libya and continued operations seemingly both for and against ISIS in Syria,

the cost, both in terms of money and lives, has been staggering.

Yet, Politico reports that a majority of Americans support the Syrian strike. But remember the

five newspapers that devoted zero space to anti-war opinion. Remember that this is a

sacred ritual of the military-industrial complex that, like most U.S. foreign policy, is carefully

presented and curated by the mainstream news (a manufactured consensus), which, during

times of war, becomes veritable state-run media.

When it comes to war and regime change in the Middle East, has the anti-war left switched

places with the alt-right? And does the same political and media establishment that hates

Trump really adore his first war crime? Its a nauseating bizarro universe, but at the

moment, its the only conclusion one can draw.
