Today's question
comes from
my Facebook group
We are changing the world
The question was asked there,
and I answered it there as well,
but I also
wanted to make a video
because I loved that question
and I want to share these tips
with you.
So, the question was:
What do you personally do
in order to stay grounded
or to ground yourself
when working with higher
states of consciousness?
Oh, I love this question,
I've got five tips for you,
they are very-very simple,
these are things that I do
every single day.
When we don't feel grounded
we become disconnected
from our physical self.
So, not literally
but there is this feeling
that you are not fully
occupying your physical body,
like you are not fully
present in the moment,
you are not fully focused,
not fully...
engaged,
your mind is busy.
So, for example,
I tend to get
ungrounded
when I'm working behind my computer.
So, if I'm working all day
behind my computer,
I want to make sure got some brakes
to go and do
one of those things
or a combination of those things
that I'm going to share with you.
So, if you spend
a lot of time behind computer
then you need to have a tool
to help you
become grounded,
you need to have some strategies
for grounding yourself.
Also, if you are doing
spiritual studies
or receiving
lots of spiritual energy,
high frequency energy,
then you also want to know
how to ground that energy.
Because
while receiving
spiritual energy
and meditating
and doing all those things
is really yummy,
it can...
make us feel as if
it's not applicable
to our current life.
So, we become...
disconnected.
So, there is part of us
that becomes spiritual,
and there is these energies
that we are working with,
and we aspire
to higher frequency energies,
and this beautiful...
state and space we go to...
But then
it's hard to...
make it integrated
into the physical reality.
So, what I like to do
is I want to make sure
that my spirituality
in my physicality
are one,
I am whole
at all times.
When I meditate,
and if you don't meditate,
then you should...
So, when I meditate every morning
and throughout the day,
one of the first things that I do
is I ground myself.
So, I imagine that...
I am a tree.
And that the roots
grow from my base chakra.
So, if I'm sitting like this,
which I do when I meditate,
then I'm imagining the roots
growing from my base chakra
into the earth
and then growing deep deep
into the earth,
anchoring me into the earth
all the way
to the core of the earth.
Sometimes it's not the roots
but what I see
is the anchor,
like the ship that drops the anchor
into the ocean,
kind of like that.
So, the anchor
is being dropped
into the earth
and anchors me strongly
to the earth.
Second thing is throughout the day
I try to get in touch
with the earth,
or get as close to the earth
as I can.
There are kind of three things
that I do.
So, one is
when I walk outside
I breath in
and out
through my feet.
So, of course, I breathe through my nose
but I imagine
and I visualize the air
going all the way down
into the earth
through my feet.
And that really has a grounding
effect
and making me feel present
and full in my body.
So, breathing in
and breathing out
all the way along my body
down down down
along the legs
and down into the earth.
And if you want
you can also breathe up
from the earth
or breathe
from outside
and into the earth.
So, that's one thing.
The other thing
I try to touch
the earth,
so I've got a little bit
of a backyard.
So, sometimes during the day
I just come out and I touch,
I touch the earth,
I touch her with my palms,
I touch her with my forehead,
sometimes I just lie down
as a starfish,
either on my tummy
or on my back
and really feel her,
feel the earth
and enjoy that connection.
And if I can't go outside
because it's raining
or cold
or for whatever reason
then I would do this on the floor.
So, I live on the ground floor
but even if you don't live
on the ground floor
you can still do that.
You can still lie on the floor.
For example,
one of my favorite things to do
is I love planning on the floor.
So, every morning when I plan my day...
this is one of the intimate things
I'm sharing with you,
every morning when I plan my day
I lie with my tummy
on the floor.
I just love doing that,
and it feels very grounding
and planning is something
that needs to be grounded.
So I just came out from my meditation,
my morning rituals,
and I go into my lounge,
and that's where I do
the planning for the day
before I have my breakfast,
So, I lie down
with my tummy on the floor
and I do my planning.
The third thing that
I do, and you can do too,
is moving your body.
So, I like dancing
and if you were in my house
throughout the day
or if you had cameras
then what you would see
is that I often dance in my house.
So, when I'm...
warming up my lunch
I maybe...
even if the music isn't playing,
I maybe start moving my hips
and my body
I dance in front of my computer
and I dance
when I move into the shower
and from my bedroom
into the lounge...
So, it happens...
spontaneously,
and a lot throughout the day.
One way it's just for me
to express my joy
because I feel really joyful
when I...
when I'm connected to my soul
and I'm doing my...
when I'm serving my soul purpose
I feel very joyful.
And that's one way of expressing it.
But also I find
that it helps me to...
get into my body
because I sit in front of a computer
some days for a whole day,
and so that really helps me to
feel my body
and be grounded.
And if I need extra support,
and that's my tip number four,
is I use First Light flower essences,
specifically those two
that I will recommend:
number 44 Kahikatea
which is a tree essence,
and it's for
balancing and strengthening
the base chakra.
The base chakra is the one
that helps us to feel grounded.
And it's also the one
that helps us to
create success
and structures and foundations
in our life.
So when our base chakra is swinging
or it's being weak
then that could be the reason
for feeling ungrounded,
fuzzy, unfocused
and having a difficulty
creating foundations
that lead to success.
So, really useful one.
And the other one is 77 Clematis.
Clematis is for the soul,
to support the soul.
And it supports the soul
in feeling grounded
in the physical world
but not being attached
to the physical world.
So, that's very useful, too.
And my tip number 5
could sound a little bit strange,
it's actually
something that I've experienced myself
recently,
and I found it amazing.
Recently
I have gone through a process
of eliminating
all sugar,
that actually includes fruit.
You don't have to go as far,
but for me it includes fruit as well.
So, all sugar
from my life,
as well as all grains.
So , all sugar and all grains,
when I eliminated that,
pretty much the next day
I felt super grounded,
super focused
and really clear in my mind
and that has sustained itself.
I found that was
incredibly powerful
that something like that
which I've been
connected to,
which I've been consuming
all my life,
you know, fruits and grains,
that was part of my life
every single day.
And when I eliminated that
from my life
I noticed this amazing effect
on my body
of feeling more connected
and more grounded
to myself,
feeling more connected to myself.
So, these are my tips:
number 1 is anchoring yourself;
number 2 is
getting in touch with the earth,
even if it's just lying down on the floor;
number 3 is moving your body,
maybe doing yoga,
dancing...
whatever you are into,
even exercise,
calisthenics
or...
weights,
whatever you are into, really,
but getting in touch with your body
through some form of
movement and exercise.
Number 4 is flower essences,
and number 5 is
look at your diet
maybe there are certain things
that are not so helpful.
I hope this serves you,
let me know if it does.
