It's been more than a week since the Sewol-ho ferry -- which sank and took the lives of

304 people in April 2014 -- arrived at its final destination of Mokpo New Port.

But it's still unclear when the vessel will be moved onto land.

Additional wheeled platforms have arrived on site to get the job done.

We connect to our Kim Min-ji for details.

Min-ji, we are hearing another attempt to lift the ferry will be made today?

You're right, Mark.

The extra batch of modular transporters arrived on site late last night -- and after placements

and height adjustments are made,... crews will start their *third attempt to lift the

ferry.

Originally 480 transporters were used,... but an extra 120 have been deployed,... to

support the weight of the ferry,... which has been revised to about 16-thousand tons.

Simply put, now that there's 600 transporters, they'll have more capacity to lift the ferry.

The additional transporters will be placed under where the bulk of the weight is.

On Friday,... workers extended the length of the lifting beams by attaching metal plates

in those areas...so the transporters can be put underneath it.

So far, two test attempts have been made to lift the ferry,... but both failed,... with

parts of the ferry not moving at all.

Now, we must note, that there isn't much time to get this done.

Only two days remain.. before the government's target date of April 10th.... and it's also

when the neap tide period ends.

Failure to meet the deadline means... the land transfer will have to be postponed for

a few days before tides calm again.

Meanwhile, preparations for an in-vessel search for the nine missing passengers have been

taking place -- with workers checking the situation and mapping out how best to conduct

the search.

They went in about 24 meters -- and found that walls and the ferry's basic structure

had crumbled,... or were just hanging from the vessel,.. so it sounds pretty dangerous.

Another inspection isn't going to take place today,... but officials say the priority is

safety of the workers -- and they will install safety nets and carry out operations to remove

objects that are likely to fall before the search takes place.

Prosecutors question Park Geun-hye for third time over corruption charges - Duration: 0:51.

Prosecutors are questioning former president Park Geun-hye for the third time since her

arrest late last month.

Officials say the interrogation began at 9.30am at the Seoul Detention Center where she's

being held.

It's said that prosecutors have secured a full statement from Park over the course of

their previous two trips to the detention center.

Today's questioning is focusing on allegations Park and her close confidante Choi Soon-sil

received bribes from Samsung heir apparent Lee Jae-yong... and on the government blacklist

of artists deemed critical of her administration.

They will also cross reference her previous statements for any inconsistencies.

It's understood the former president continues to maintain she's innocent.

Prosecutors are seeking to put Park on trial before April 17th, when campaigning for the

May ninth presidential election gets underway.

At Himeji we went to all of the famous spots

Japanese KIMONO makeup [Ayaka Sugiura ]｜和風メイク【杉浦アヤカ】 - Duration: 9:00.

Basically I wanted to use red and purple

illustrating Japanese style wear

Hello, I am Ayaka Sugiura

Usually I am doing Danso Model or Ikemen Joshi

This time it is Japanese style wear makeup

so I tried out a new type of makeup

Please take a look. Let's start

For the color contacts, it is Qualite's One day

the 14.5mm in purple

This is because I basically am thinking of using red and purple

I used red last time so I am using purple this time

The eyebrow pencil is K-Palette's Lasting Two Way Eyebrow Pencil

The color 101

I did the eyebrows in reddish color, but since I'm not so good at drawing eyebrows,

so I drew the base, or should I say the outline with this pencil

For the shape, to make it look sharp I have made it facing a little upward

What I added to the eyebrows was Makeup Cafe Beauty's Collage Make Palette F

There are many colors to it,

You can use it on many things and is very useful and started using this

No.22 of this one

The most red color is added to the eyebrows, or should I say just add color

The next for the eyebrows is Koji Dolly Wink's

Color Eyeliner in Cherry Red

This is to make the outer corner of the eyebrows to be vivid

This goes just to the tip of the outer corner

Next is KATE's designing eyebrow N

in color light brown

You add this to the eyebrows

Adding the dark brown color to blend in with the red

Making it vague and adding over it

Next is the eye shadow

CanMake jewel star eyes 06

This goes on with the fingers

Since I want some wings on the eyelids

so adding it to the top part and all around the area

The next is from the same palette, the no.1 white color

This goes on pretty heavily from the inner corner of the eyes to the eye bags

to make the white visible. It is a highlighter but to enhance the eyes

so using the white color pretty heavily

Koji's Dolly Wink Pencil eye color Cream Lame

This goes on from the edge of the inner corner,

going along the line down to the pupils

Going heavily almost circling the eyes to make the white of the eyes to stand out

The next is Dolly Wink's color eyeliner cherry red

This is pretty much to circle around the edge of the eyes

but this time after doing that I am circling around the wing

so I am adding on pointing upwards with this

Next is #22 from the color palette, which is the reddish color again

This is to make the eyeliner wing that I added to be made vague

It is to made the whole part to be a little vague

Next is #23 in purple

Since the last one was done in red, the bottom is made to be vague

To enhance the color, the purple color is added pretty heavy on the bottom

The next eye shadow is from KATE duel blend eyes

Using the black one

This is to make the shadow visible on the outer corner and make the wing visible

only on the outer corner

KATE Eyeliner super sharp liner EX in color black

More than drawing, this is more like tracing on the edges

to make the inner corner to stand out, tracing slightly on the inner corner

The eyelash curler from Koji

Not doing too much but letting it face upward a little

Using the mascara base from CanMake

This is only used on the top

Mascara from Kingdom. TX-1

This time was neither stretching nor giving volume but just to make the eyelashes visible

so just tracing lightly on it

Next are the bottom lashes

Decorative "Play Girl" #16

This is only for the bottom lashes

Since I wanted to give some impact on the bottom

so I only added to the bottom

This one isn't so dark on the pupil part,

and since I wanted to have the outer corner to stand out, I chose the one bushy on the outside

The foundation is Yves Saint Laurent LE CUSHION ENCRE DE PEAU B-20

This is a cushion foundation but remains beautiful when it crumbles

It gives the white look and blends in well so I'm using this

Using the Shiseido baby powder after the foundation

using it to hold down the glare

This is a "press" type and the powder is almighty so I am using this a lot recently

When you re-do you makeup, the foundation tends to go on very thick

but just adding this on lightly will enable you to get your makeup back on track

This is for the lips. Maybelline lip cream

My lips tend to get dry so I add this on at first

Next comes the lipstick

Proof Bright Rouge from Kiss Me FERM

This is quite a dark red lipstick

Since it is a Japanese wear makeup, the lips will be in red

to make it beautiful as well as cool looking

Using the lip gloss from DAYS LIP

This goes on to make the total look a little plump

KATE super sharp liner EX

This is actually an eyeliner

As you can see on the very bottom, I have a mole

and to utilize that I am adding additional two to make it like a design

The hair is done by Crait's thin hair iron

Using this, to give a slight wave to the overall hair, twisting it gently

and to let it spread out, making it like a perm

so twisting the hair on the side

and pin it down

Twisting two or three parts and bring it to the back

and bringing the nape of the neck as well to the back

to bring all the hair to come around here

I brought some hair extensions with me today

I'm using the brown, red and purple

but making one of them long to make it look like the traditional Japanese look

How did you like it?

It was a Japanese traditonal style makeup and I tried out something I usually don't do : The wings

Bringing the base with red and purple,

to make it mature looking Japanese traditional style looking makeup

Two liberal presidential hopefuls narrowing approval ratings gap after primaries - Duration: 2:00.

Turning our focus to the buildup to the May ninth presidential election here in Korea...

There's been a visible shift in the opinion polls after the major parties decided on their

nominees.

The most visible fluctuation in numbers were those of the top two candidates - Moon Jae-in

and Ahn Cheol-soo.

Kim Ji-yeon reports.

The latest polls indicate the upcoming presidential election is rapidly narrowing to a two-way

race between two liberal candidates,... as approval ratings of Ahn Cheol-soo, the co-founder

of the minor opposition People's Party jumped during the week leading up to Thursday...

trailing closely behind the ratings of leading liberal candidate Moon Jae-in, the former

leader of the liberal Democratic Party of Korea.

In the latest poll by Gallup Korea released Friday, Moon and Ahn's approval ratings were

within the margin of error range... in the 30-percent range.

Another survey by Realmeter conducted, showed Moon had garnered more than 41-percent of

approval rating,... followed by Ahn with 34-and-a-half-percent.

The survey results were conducted right after each of the five political parties formally

announced their respective presidential candidates,... leaving out Seongnam City Mayor Lee Jae-myung

and Chungcheongnam-do Province Governor An Hee-jung out of the race after the primaries

with around a month to go before the May 9th presidential election.

The visible boost in Ahn's approval ratings, which jumped two-fold after his nomination,...

is seen to stem from the support of moderate conservative voters.

With a traditional rightist approach to defense and security issues but a more centrist stance

on welfare and economic reform agendas,... these voters are favoring Ahn instead of more

conservative candidates... such as Gyeongsangnam-do Province Governor Hong Joon-pyo and the splinter

group Bareun Party's representative Yoo Seong-min,... who have both failed to receive a two-digit

approval rating.
