Waching daily Jan 2 2017

For me 2016 went very well.

I had great experiences

that I wanted to live for a while now.

And it brought me outside of my confort zone.

And I liked it.

Lots of changes, transistions

and questioning as well.

Figuring out where I want to go

and how to get there.

In 2016

I was expecting a lot of stability

and getting none of it.

So

it was all about

getting back that stability.

It funny because

I feel stuck about this.

So I want to get unstuck.

I want to move forward, I want

to go even more toward the unknown.

To be outside of my confort zone

and learn from it.

Because there was a lot of transitions

and movement in 2016

I think that now I want

to settle down

and to move forward

rather than zigzagging.

It'll be good.

It's to continue what I'm doing.

But doing so with constance

and to keep...

not to avoid burning the candle at both ends.

My 2017 theme is: Letting Go.

I just figured it out a few minutes ago.

But I can see that

this is why I feel stuck.

Always asking myself, what's the right thing to do,

what should I do,

what others want me to do?

Lots a questioning, always in my head.

Letting go would be to

give up on theses thoughts and just

do it.

There is a strength in that

and now I just want to let go.

Communication!

It's one thing to

communicate with others

but it's another thing

to truly communicate how you feel inside.

It's not easy for me and

I admire people who can do it.

I always thought I was a good listener

but in the end I see that

I could improve in communicating afterwards.

Discipline.

To keep a constance.

It's not about

reaching my dreams and

to finish my projects.

It's more a question of constance

and

to keep, to maintain

everything that I have

and to stabilize it.

Yes!

But I'm scared.

Yes!

Yes, yes.

I'm really excited.

I'm looking forward.

I think good things are coming.

Yessssssss!

(Thank you)

You're welcome.

Mariah Carey New Year Eve VIDEO Performance 2017: Dick Clark's Rocking' Eve - Duration: 3:20.

Mariah Carey really dropped the ball on this one.

Ms Carey's New Years Eve Performance at Dick Clark's Rockin Eve 2017 was heavily

hyped by ABC and it ended up being a disaster. But it was definitely an appropriate end to

2016 in my opinion.

The legendary songstress was singing "Emotions" and she struggled to reach the notes when

she was singing live. We also found out her whistle tones are actually a track. She told

the audience "we can't hear," in the opening seconds of the song.

Ms. Carey told the audience there had not been a proper sound check and asked them to

just sing instead.

She managed to do some choreography noting that she is "trying to be a good sport here."

When the number ended the crowd cheered her on.

"That was amazing."

She seemed to recover at first with "We Belong Together". But the train wreck continued

when she flat out gave up but the recording continued to play, a confirmation that she

was lip-syncing. "It just don't get any better," she

said, and then left the stage.

A dispute erupted between Ms. Carey's representatives and the veteran audio producer Robert Goldstein

of Maryland Sound International. Goldstein says "Every monitor and in-ear device worked

perfectly. I can't comment beyond that and don't know what her nontechnical issue may

have been."

Do you think it was a technical malfunction or was Mariah Carey caught lip syncing at

her New Year's Eve Performance for Dick Clark's Rockin' Eve 2017? Let me know

in the comments below and don't forget to subscribe.

☆ Eli Ayase Seven Lucky Gods ☆ RoleCosplay Review - Duration: 2:18.

Hello~!

Today I will be reviewing a costume from RoleCosplay, which in an online store that sells

costumes, wigs and accessories for your cosplay.

The cosplay I got from them is from the game "Love Live!" and its Eli Ayase's Seven Lucky Gods

which is one of my favorites from the whole game.

And, if you're thinking about buying from them, you should use my discount code.

When you order this costume, it will come with

her tabi socks

this white piece

an obi, with a bow

this yellow piece of fabric

the yukata~!

All the information and links will be listed in the description below

as well as a written version of this review and my coupon code~!

Starting off with the main part, the yukata is made out of polyester

and the print is very good

It is fully lined with white lining fabric and has four satin ribbons on the sides

so that it stays closed, but also helps you know which side of it goes on top.

And be aware that because of its fabric, this yukata is very very warm.

You also get an obi and a bow.

The obi is very thick and holds its shape very well. It also closes down with velcro.

The bow is a separate piece from the obi and you can attach it to the obi

with a safety pin that comes with the bow.

There is no actual place to attach it, so you can choose where you want it.

This white accessory mimics the undergarment that is traditionally used with japanese clothing

and its very small, since this is a cosplay and this is the only part of it that will be showing.

It has velcro so its easy to put on and take off.

The yellow piece of fabric goes all around your waist and it peeks through the top of the obi a little bit.

The tabi socks are just like any other sock

except they have a division between your big toe and the rest of your toes.

And that's it for the review~!

I hope you enjoyed it, and don't forget to check RoleCosplay out through the link in the description! That helps me a lot~

Thank you~!!

Common Anti-Weed Argument Debunked - Duration: 6:15.

ADDITIONAL DATA INDICATE THAT MEDICAL MARIJUANA AND

RECREATIONAL MARIJUANA THAT HAS BEEN LEGALIZED IN VARIOUS STATES

HAS NOT LED TO AN INCREASE IN TRAFFIC RELATED DEATHS.

THAT WAS A HUGE CONCERN OF THOSE WHO WERE AGAINST LEGALIZING

MARIJUANA AND IT TURNS OUT THAT VARIOUS STUDIES HAVE

INDICATED THAT NO COMMONALITY STATES HAVE LEGALIZED IT, WE

HAVE AN EXPERIENCE AN INCREASE IN TRAFFIC RELATED DEATHS.

WE COVERED A STORY SIMILAR TO THIS A FEW MONTHS AGO AND

THIS IS YET ANOTHER STUDY.

LET ME GIVE YOU THE DETAILS.

DEATHS ACTUALLY DROPPED 11%

ON AVERAGE IN STATES THAT LEGALIZED MEDICAL MARIJUANA.

THIS IS TRAFFIC RELATED TO STOP PEOPLE THOUGHT PEOPLE WOULD

SMOKE WEED AND GET BEHIND THE WHEEL AND DRIVER RADICALLY.

IF YOU EVER SMOKED WE DO KNOW THAT DOESN'T REALLY MAKE

SENSE BUT ALSO THE PEOPLE WHO SMOKE MARIJUANA USUALLY

HAVE DIFFERENT HABITS.

THEY ARE LESS LIKELY TO GO OUT.

THEY ARE MORE LIKELY TO STAY IN.

THE HYPOTHESIS BEHIND THIS IS OKAY, PEOPLE ARE STAYING IN

AN SMOKING WEED AND THEY ARE NOT GETTING BEHIND THE WHEEL AT

ALL AND THAT IS WHAT IS POSSIBLY LOWERING THE NUMBER OF

TRAFFIC RELATED FATALITIES.

THERE ARE A BUNCH OF DIFFERENT THEORIES HERE BUT

LET'S CUT THROUGH ALL THAT.

LET ME BACK UP AND THEN GET TO THE THEORIES.

I SAW THE HEADLINE FOR THE STORY.

I CAME IN A LITTLE SKEPTICAL.

WE'VE SEEN TOO MANY STORIES ABOUT HOW MIRACULOUS

MARIJUANA IS, RIGHT?

AND I THOUGHT TO MYSELF BEFORE I READ THE CONTEXT OF THE

STORY IF IT IS A RED TWO OR 3%

DIFFERENCE I'M GOING TO DISCOUNT AND SAY IT IS JUST VARIANCE.

BUT 11% OVER ALL OF THESE DIFFERENT STATES, OVER ALL THIS

TIME WHEN THEY STUDIED 1.2 MILLION TRAFFIC FATALITIES,

THAT'S PRETTY SIGNIFICANT AND IN CALIFORNIA AND IN NEW MEXICO,

THE YEAR AFTER THEY MADE MEDICAL MARIJUANA LEGAL THERE WAS A

17% DROP IN NEW MEXICO AND A 16% DROP IN CALIFORNIA.

IT ACTUALLY THEN CAME BACK TO THE CLOSER AVERAGE OF 11%

OVER THE YEARS, BUT NO, THAT IS CLEARLY AN EFFECT.

IT'S AN OBVIOUS EFFECT.

LET'S TALK ABOUT METHODOLOGY A LITTLE BIT AND WHAT THIS

ALL MEANS.

SO FAR THE STUDIES HAVEN'T FOUND A CAUSAL LINK.

BUT THAT'S VERY HARD.

IT IS, AND LOOK, I FEEL LIKE THAT SOMETHING RESEARCHERS CAN

ACHIEVE WITH MORE RESEARCH INTO THIS AS TIME GOES ON BECAUSE

REMEMBER, THIS IS A RELATIVELY NEW PHENOMENON IN THE US.

BUT THE CORRELATION IS STRONG BECAUSE IN THE VERY LEAST

WHAT THIS DOES PROVE IS YOU LEGALIZE MARIJUANA, IT

DOESN'T MEAN THAT IT WILL LEAD TO MORE PEOPLE CAUSING

FATALITIES IN THE CAR ACCIDENTS.

THAT'S ABSOLUTELY RIGHT.

AT A MINIMUM, THE PROPAGANDA THAT THE WORLD IS GOING TO

FALL APART AND EVERYONE IS GOING TO BE CRASHING INTO ONE

ANOTHER IS TOTALLY NOT TRUE.

NOT EVEN REMOTELY TRUE.

2ND OF ALL, THEY CAN SHOW THE CORRELATION AND PART OF

WHAT WE DO HERE IS ANALYSIS AND YOU CAN SAY HEY, I AM GOING

TO DISCOUNT YOUR ANALYSIS.

YOU JUST TOLD ME WHAT THE FACTS ARE NOT CAN MAKE MY OWN

JUDGMENT, BUT IT IS SO HARD FOR THEM TO PROVE THAT PEOPLE

ARE STAYING AT HOME AND THAT IS WHY ALL OF THIS STUFF.

HERE IS MY HYPOTHESIS ON IT.

1ST OF ALL, OF COURSE THAT IS TOO BIG OF A NUMBER.

WE'RE NOT TALKING ABOUT AROUND THE EDGES, TWO OR 3%.

WE'RE TALKING ABOUT ALL OF THOSE STATES AND ALL OF THOSE

FATALITIES.

11% IS A BIG NUMBER.

THE YEAR AFTER THE LAW PASSES, FOR THEM TO HAVE A 16% DROP IN

FATALITIES IS NO JOKE AND HAVE A HAPPEN AT ALL THOSE DIFFERENT

STATES AT THE SAME TIME SEEMS LIKE A HIGH CORRELATION.

ON ALL THE DIFFERENT THEORIES AS TO WHY HERE'S MY BEST GUESS.

THERE ARE TWO MAIN FACTORS.

ONE IS THEY ARE SUBSTITUTING IT FOR ALCOHOL AND ALCOHOL

KILLS A LOT MORE PEOPLE WHEN YOU DRIVE WHEN YOU'RE DRUNK.

I HAVE A STRANGE REACTION TO MARIJUANA.

I WOULDN'T DRIVE WHEN I AM HIGH AND EVERYBODY HAS A

DIFFERENT REACTION.

I'M SAYING IT IS PERFECTLY SAFE.

I AM SAYING DON'T TRUST MY ANECDOTAL EVIDENCE, LOOK AT

THE DATA AND ALCOHOL HAS PROVEN TO BE INCREDIBLY DANGEROUS

WHEN YOU DRIVE ON IT.

IF MORE PEOPLE ARE SMOKING INSTEAD OF DRINKING, YOU

ARE GOING TO APPARENTLY HAVE LESS FATALITIES.

IT IS NOT THAT COLLOCATED PLUSES YOU SAID, THE SECOND FACTOR

THAT I HADN'T START OF IS NOT ONLY ARE THEY NOT DRINKING,

BUT THEY DON'T HAVE TO GO OUT ANYMORE.

THEY ARE AT HOME.

EXACTLY.

THINK ABOUT IT, DRINKING FOR THE MOST PART IS A SOCIAL ACTIVITY.

FOR SOME PEOPLE SMOKING MARIJUANA IS A SOCIAL

ACTIVITY AS WELL BUT A LOT OF PEOPLE SMOKE MARIJUANA

ALONE OR USE MARIJUANA ALONE.

YOU GO TO A BAR, YOU GET HAMMERED, AND SOME PEOPLE

DON'T CALL A CAB.

THEY GET BEHIND THE WHEEL AND THAT LEADS TO MORE TRAFFIC

RELATED FATALITIES.

IN THE CASE OF MARIJUANA, AGAIN PEOPLE ARE MORE LIKELY TO

STAY HOME WHETHER THEY HAVE COMPANY OR NOT THAT THEY'RE

NOT GOING TO GET BEHIND THE WHEEL.

THAT IS AGAIN A HYPOTHESIS.

IT'S IMPORTANT TO KIND OF LOOK OF THE HABITS AND BEHAVIOR

OF THE PEOPLE USING THE DRUG TO SEE WHAT ALL THE DIFFERENT

FACTORS ARE AND WHETHER THIS IS MORE OF A BEHAVIORAL THING

THEN THE IMPACT OF THE DRUG ITSELF BUT YOU ARE RIGHT,

CENK UYGUR, SOME PEOPLE CLAIM THEY CAN SMOKE WEED AND GET

BEHIND THE WILL AND THEY ACTUALLY DRIVE MORE CAREFULLY.

I DO NOT SUGGEST OR RECOMMEND ANYONE DOES THAT.

I WOULD NEVER DO IT.

THERE IS MORE ANECDOTAL EVIDENCE.

COPS PULLING GUYS OVER GOING 50 MILES AN HOUR ON THE

HIGHWAY AND THEY ARE LIKE DO NOT TRUST YOU ARE GOING?

I DON'T KNOW, 85, 90.

NO, 15.

WHICH BY THE WAY IS INSANELY DANGEROUS.

IT'S ABOUT IDEA THAT WE ARE DEFINITELY NOT IN THE CAMP THAT

HAS NO DOWNSIDES AND IT'S NIRVANA

BUT LOOK AT THE

DATA AND THE NUMBERS.

WHEN THEY FEARMONGER AND SAY WE CAN'T LEGALIZE BECAUSE EVERYONE

IS GOING TO DIE INCLUDING ON THE HIGHWAYS, NOT REMOTELY TRUE.

Photoshop Tutorial: How to Transform a Photo into an Abstract Expressionist, Pop Art Portrait - Duration: 6:07.

Hi. This is Marty from Blue Lightning TV.

I'm going to show you a quick way to transform a photo of a face into an exciting portrait

that blends abstract expressionism, pop art and glitch art.

In addition, the method allows you to instantly replace your photo with another without having

to redo any of the effects.

I provided this bare metal texture that you can download, so you can follow along.

Its link is located in my video's description or project files below.

Open a photo of someone that you'd like to use for this project.

To place it into the bare metal texture file, press "v" to open your Move Tool and drag

it onto the tab of the bare metal texture.

Without releasing your mouse or pen, press and hold Shift as you drag the photo onto the image.

Holding Shift kept the photo centered over the texture.

To fit your photo onto the document, open your Transform Tool by pressing Ctrl or Cmd + T.

To see your Transform's entire bounding box, press Ctrl or Cmd + 0.

Go to a corner and when you see a diagonal, double-arrow, press and hold Alt or Option

+ Shift as you drag it in or out.

To reposition it, go inside the bounding box and drag your image.

Then, press Enter or Return.

We'll crop off the areas that extend beyond the edges by pressing

Ctrl or Cmd + A to select it and going to Image and Crop.

Deselect it by pressing Ctrl or Cmd + D.

To fit the image back onto your canvas, press Ctrl or Cmd + 0.

We'll convert our photo into a Smart Object, so we can adjust the effects at any time,

as well as, replace the photo with another without having to redo any of the effects.

Click the icon at the top, right corner of the Layers panel and click "Convert to Smart Object".

Make a copy of it by pressing Ctrl or Cmd + J.

Click the eyeball icon next to the copy to hide the layer

and make the original layer active.

Change its Blend Mode to "Color Burn".

Click the Adjustment Layer icon and click "Levels".

I'll drag the Input highlight level to 143 and the Output black level to 64.

Click the Adjustment layer icon again and this time, click "Vibrance".

Drag the Vibrance to 100 and I'll make the Saturation: 20.

Make Layer 1 active and go to Filter, Distort and Shear.

Go to the bottom anchor point and drag it to the right a bit.

Drag the top anchor point approximately this much.

Make the top layer visible and active.

Change its blend mode to Multiply.

Go to Filter, Distort and Wave.

Feel free to experiment with the settings.

For mine, I'll make the number of generators: 100...the Wavelength: 1 and 94...the Amplitude:

998 and 999...and the Scale: 1%.

The Type is "Sine" and the Undefined Areas is "Repeat Edge Pixels".

To quickly create a new portrait, double-click the Smart Object to open the source photo.

If you're using a version earlier than CC, go to File and Open. Then, find and click a

photo you'd like to replace the original one with and drag the photo onto the Smart Object's

original source photo.

If you're using version CC or later, go to File and Place Embedded.

Again, find and click a photo.

Then, click "Place".

If you're using a version earlier than CC, use your Transform Tool to resize the new photo.

On versions CC and later, the Transform Tool opened by default.

If you need more room, zoom out by pressing Ctrl or Cmd plus the minus key on your keyboard.

Then, resize and position the new photo to fit the document.

Close the tab of the Smart Object.

When this message pops up, just click "Yes" to save the changes.

This is Marty from Blue Lightning TV.

Thanks for watching!

Workers need skills for jobs of future - Duration: 4:44.

MIKE: WELCOME BACK TO UPFRONT

AND OUR

DEEP DIVE INTO THE STATE OF THE

STATE'S ECONOMY.

OUR PANELISTS TODAY ARE --

BRIAN JACOBSEN OF WELLS FARGO

ADVANTAGE FUNDS..

ROSE OSWALD POELS OF THE

WISCONSIN BANKERS ASSOCIATION..

AND CORY NETTLES OF GENERATION

GROWTH CAPITAL.

(TEASE TWO

ROSE, LET'S ASK A VERY

FUNDAMENTAL QUESTION HERE.

DO WE HAVE THE WORK FORCE IN

WISCONSIN TO MEET THE JOBS OF

THE FUTURE?

TO MEET THE NEEDS OF EMPLOYERS

AS WE MOVE FORWARD?

ROSE: THAT IS A KEY AREA WE

NEED TO WORK ON.

WE NEED TO DO BETTER IN HAVING

ACADEMIC INSTITUTIONS AT ALL

LEVELS, HIGH SCHOOL, TECHNICAL

COLLEGES, FOUR-YEAR

UNIVERSITIES CONNECTING WITH

THE WORK THAT IS AVAILABLE HERE

AND WHAT WE NEED IN THE FUTURE.

YOU HEAR FROM MANUFACTURERS

ACROSS THE STATE THAT THEY ARE

LOOKING FOR WORKERS.

AND THOSE AREN'T THE SAME KIND

OF WORKERS THAT EXISTED 30

YEARS AGO.

A LOT OF THOSE REQUIRE COMPUTER

BACKGROUND AND KNOWLEDGE.

WHEN YOU LOOK AT THE HIGHER

TECHNOLOGY SECTOR THAT WE'RE

TRYING TO GROW IN THE STATE,

YOU NEED WORKERS THAT HAVE MUCH

STRONGER COMPUTER SCIENCE

BACKGROUND AND MUCH MORE

TECHNICAL SKILLS.

ENGINEERING.

WE NEED TO DO A BETTER JOB AS

BUSINESSPEOPLE TO CONNECT WITH

THE INSTITUTIONS HERE OF HIGHER

LEARNING AND MAKE SURE WE MATCH

UP THE CURRICULUM THEY HAVE IN

PLACE WITH THE JOBS THAT ARE

AVAILABLE HERE AND MOVING

FORWARD INTO THE FUTURE.

MIKE: BRIAN, HOW BIG A DEAL IS

THIS WORK FORCE MATCH I WOULD

CALL IT?

HOW BIG OF AN ISSUE?

BRIAN: IT'S AN ISSUE

NATIONWIDE, BUT ESPECIALLY IN

WISCONSIN THE SKILLS MISMATCH.

WHAT EMPLOYERS ARE LOOKING FOR

AND THEN WHAT POTENTIAL

EMPLOYEES REALLY ARE BRINGING

TO THE TABLE.

WE AREN'T GRADUATING NECESSARY

LITH STUDENTS WITH THE SKILLS

THAT THEY NEED TO SUCCEED IN

THE JOBS THAT ARE AVAILABLE OR

THE JOBS THAT WILL BECOME

AVAILABLE.

I THINK THAT'S ONE OF THE

CHALLENGES.

YOU HAVE A LOT OF ACADEMIC

INSTITUTIONS THAT HAVE

TRADITIONALLY TRAINED STUDENTS

IN THE FIELDS THAT THE STUDENTS

ARE INTERESTED IN.

THAT MIGHT NOT BE THE AREA THAT

THEY'LL FIND GOOD-PAYING JOBS

IN THE FUTURE.

I WORK ALSO AT WISCONSIN

LUTHERAN COLLEGE AS AN

ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR AND

DIRECTOR OF THE FINANCIAL

PLANNING PROGRAM, ONE OF THE

THINGS THEY HAVE DONE IS TRIED

TO REACH OUT TO THE BUSINESS

COMMUNITY TO DEVELOP DIFFERENT

PIPELINES WHERE STUDENTS CAN

TRAIN FOR THE JOBS THAT THEY

ARE LOOKING FOR.

THESE ARE USUALLY PROFESSIONAL

LEVEL JOBS.

THEY HAVE TEAMED UP WITH THE

HOSPITAL FOR EXAMPLE AS FAR AS

WITH THE NURSING PROGRAM.

THEY ARE LOOKING AT OTHER

PROGRAMS.

I'M NOT SURE WHAT LEVEL THIS

NEEDS TO BE DONE BECAUSE THERE

DEFINITELY IS THE NEED.

I THINK A LOT OF THE COLLEGES

CAN TAKE THE INITIATIVE TO TRY

TO BUILD THE CONNECTIONS.

I REMEMBER BACK IN T 1990'S,

MOTOR OLA WAS FAMOUS FOR

DEVELOPING THE UNIVERSITY.

MOST PEOPLE HAVEN'T HEARD OF

THAT ANYMORE BECAUSE OF

BANKRUPTCY ISSUES.

MAYBE THEY WERE AHEAD OF THEIR

TIME.

MAYBE THAT'S A MODEL SOME OF

OUR LARGER BUSINESSES CAN USE

IS DEVELOP TRAINING PROGRAMS

BUT IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE

EXISTING ACADEMIC INSTITUTIONS.

MIKE: CORY, YOU DO BUSINESS IN

THE TWIN CITIES AREA.

SHARE THAT EXPERIENCE WITH US.

IT DOES ADDRESS THIS ISSUE OF

ONE STATE THAT SEEMS TO HAVE

MORE OF A BETTER RELATIONSHIP

BETWEEN EMPLOYER NEEDS AND THE

WORK FORCE AND WISCONSIN.

WHAT'S GOING ON THERE THAT'S

NOT HAPPENING HERE?

CORY: BOOMING ECONOMY.

GROWING FINANCIAL SERVICES

SECTOR.

I TELL PEOPLE IT'S NOT THE

WEATHER.

WHERE WISCONSIN WILL BE DOWN

10,000 GRADUATES BRAIN DRAIN

WHO LEAVE, MINNESOTA WILL BE UP

10,000 GRADUATES.

IT'S A REFLECTION OF THE THEIR

ECONOMY, THEIR FOCUS ON

HIGH-END JOBS AND ABILITY TO

ATTRACT PEOPLE INTO THOSE JOBS.

THEY DON'T HAVE THE LEGACY

MANUFACTURING BASE WHERE THEY

ARE TRYING TO PIVOT AND DEALING

WITH THE SKILLS MISMATCH.

THAT'S A PROBLEM OR HEADWIND

FOR US.

WE HAVEN'T FIGURED OUT IN 10,

15 YEARS NOW O TALKING ABOUT

THIS HOW TO CRACK THE CODE ON

THAT.

AND WE HAVE TO.

WHEN YOU LOOK AT A POPULATION

GROWTH THAT'S FLAT TO

DECLINING, WE HAVE THAT

CHALLENGE, BUT THE TWIN

CHALLENGE AND REAL PROBLEM IS

WE HAVE SIGNIFICANT POCKETS OF

UNEMPLOYMENT AND UNDER

UTILIZATION, PARTICULARLY IN

THE CITY OF MILWAUKEE.

YOU CAN'T HAVE YOUR POPULATION

SHRINKING AND UNDERUTILIZATION.

WE HAVE TO FIGURE OUT HOW TO

GET THOSE FOLKS OFF THE

SIDELINES AND INTO THIS

ECONOMY.

THAT WILL BE CRITICAL TO OUR

SUCCESS SHORT AND LONG TERM.

MIKE: I HAVE TO TAKE ANOTHER

QUICK BREAK.

WHEN WE COME BACK, THE CLIMATE

FOR BUSINESS START-UPS. ARE WE

DOING ALL WE CAN TO ENCOURAGE

NEW BUSINESSES

WE'LL BE RIGHT BACK.

U.S. warns of consequences against N. Korea's New Year's message - Duration: 0:47.

The United States has warned North Korea... that there will be consequences for any illegal

actions.

This comes... as the regime's leader revealed that Pyongyang is in the final stages of test-firing

long-range missiles capable of carrying nuclear warheads on new year's day.

The U.S. State Department made a statement on Sunday, local time,... that the UN Security

Council bans North Korea from launching ballistic missiles... and that it will use all measures

to show that such a move will lead to serious consequences.

The statement also urged other countries to mobilize all measures against such military

threats.

It went on to say that North Korea should stick to its international obligations and

come back for sincere dialogue,... while refraining from making provocative comments.

Manhunt on for Istanbul nightclub shooter who killed at least 39 people - Duration: 2:06.

The funerals have been held in Istanbul for some of the victims of the 39 people killed

during the New Year's Eve attack on a nightclub.

Turkish police are still hunting for the gunman who opened fire on club-goers in the early

hours of Sunday morning.

Kim Mok-yeon has more.

The attack took place at Istanbul's popular Reina nightclub,... about an hour into the

New Year.

The gunman began shooting at random people in the club using an automatic rifle and later

fled the scene.

Authorities are still searching for solid evidence on who was behind the attack.

Edit No1602 "According to the information we've received

from the police, there was one gunman.

There weren't multiple gunmen.

He was wearing a coat and trousers.

He went inside as he opened fire all around.

And we were informed that he was wearing different clothes inside and he tried to get out.

Our police forces are continuing to assess this information."

Later in the day, the police lifted a blockade of the area allowing people to visit the site

and mourn the victims.

Local residents said that many had mistaken the shooting for fireworks until they saw

people fleeing.

"First of all, everyone thought it was fire because it was the New Year.

When the police came, I thought it must have been a terrible thing.

I saw blood coming out; people were falling down because of the shooting.

It was a terrible thing.

"

Turkish authorities say that, of the 39 people killed, 15 were foreigners including citizens

from Israel, France, Belgium and Tunisia.

Thirteen are still unidentified.

President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that terror groups are trying to create chaos and destabilize

the country.

World leaders denounced the attack.

The UN Security Council condemned the massacre "in the strongest terms," calling the assault

a "heinous and barbaric" attack.

German Chancellor Angela Merkel sent her condolences to the victims.

U.S. President Barack Obama also promised to render appropriate assistance to the Turkish

authorities.

Business leaders offer ideas for start-ups - Duration: 4:07.

MIKE: WE'RE BACK ONE FINAL TIME

TODAY

WITH OUR PANEL OF BUSINESS

LEADERS, LOOKING AT THE

BUSINESS CLIMATE AND

WISCONSIN'S ECONOMY.

BRIAN JACOBSEN, LET ME BEGIN

THIS FINAL SEGMENT WITH YOU.

I MENTIONED START-UPS.

THEY ARE IMPORTANT.

NEW BUSINESSES CREATE JOBS.

AND THEY ARE VERY IMPORTANT TO

ANY STATE'S ECONOMY.

THE DATA SAYS WE'RE NOT DOING

ALL THAT GREAT.

WHAT DO WE NEED TO DO

DIFFERENTLY?

BRIAN: I THINK ONE OF THE

THINGS THAT WE COULD DO IS TRY

TO CREATE A MORE CONDUCIVE TAX

CODE.

SOMETHING THAT'S MAYBE BETTER

HARMONIZED WITH THE FEDERAL TAX

CODE SO IT'S EASIER TO DO YOUR

TAXES IF YOU ARE A SMALL

BUSINESS OWNER.

THAT COULD CERTAINLY HELP.

BUT IF YOU LOOK AT SOME OF THE

STATISTICS AROUND BIRTHS OF

BUSINESSES AS FAR AS NEW JOB

CREATION, WE'RE NOT DOING ALL

THAT BADLY RELATIVE TO HOW WE

HAVE HISTORICALLY CONSIDERING

SOME OF OUR POPULATION GROWTH

PROJECTIONS.

LOW POPULATION GROWTH WE STILL

HAVE ABOUT A COMMENSURATE LEVEL

OF CREATION OF BUSINESSES.

WE WOULD LIKE TO SEE THAT

FATHERS.

TRADING A BETTER TAX

ENVIRONMENT.

I WOULD ALSO LOVE TO SEE BETTER

INVESTMENT IN HIGH-SPEED

INTERNET ACCESS FOR PEOPLE

THROUGHOUT THE STATE OF

WISCONSIN.

WE'RE TALKING ABOUT HOW YOU

HAVE DIFFERENT POCKETS OF

WISCONSIN, IT'S ALMOST LIKE

WE'RE A COLLECTION OF ISLAND.

HOW CAN WE BETTER CONNECT

THOSE?

HOW CAN WE BETTER CONNECT THE

PEOPLE IN THE NORTHERN THIRD TO

THE REST OF THE WORLD?

AND MAYBE SOMETHING WITH

INCREDIBLY HIGH-SPEED INTERNET

ACCESS COULD HELP THOSE

ENTREPRENEURS IN THAT AREA.

MIKE: CORY, WHAT DO WE DO TO

IMPROVE THE START-UP PICTURE?

CORY: I THINK THERE IS A BUNCH

OF MECHANICAL THINGS THAT WE

NEED TO DO.

AND BRIAN WAS ALLUDING TO SOME

OF THOSE.

I THINK WE NEED A CULTURE

REVOLUTION.

WHEN I WAS COMMERCE SECRETARY

PEOPLE USED TO SAY WHAT

ACCOUNTS FOR THE DIFFERENCE

BETWEEN WISCONSIN AND MINNESOTA

AS RELATES TO THE GROWTH AND

THE ECONOMY?

I WOULD SAY THEY GOT THE

SCANDINAVIANS AND WE GOT THE

GERMANS.

SOME OF THIS --

MIKE: THE RISK ADVERSE PEOPLE.

CORY: EXACTLY.

WE HAVE TO FIGURE OUT HOW DO WE

CREATE A CULTURE AND

ENVIRONMENT WHERE IT'S OK TO

TAKE RISKS AND FAIL AND LEARN

FROM IT AND TRY AGAIN.

WE'RE SO RELUCTANT.

100 YEARS AGO WHEN YOU HAD THE

HARLEY-DAVIDSONS AND MILLERS ON

THE LINE, THEY TOOK RISKS.

WE HAVE TO CREATE AN

ENVIRONMENT WHERE IT'S OK FOR

PEOPLE TO TAKE RISKS AND FAIL

AND LEARN FROM THAT.

YOU HAVE THE VALLEY, THEY COME

TOGETHER, CELEBRATE THE

FAILURE, THROW A PARTY FOR YOU.

WHAT DO WE NEED TO KNOW GOING

FORWARD?

WE HAVE TO DO THAT.

ANOTHER PIECE WE HAVE TO BECOME

A PLACE THAT ATTRACTS HUMAN

CAPITAL AND TALENT.

I TALK TO A LOT OF SETUP

ENTREPRENEURS WE NEED MORE

GOTY 2017 Gabriela Debut! Jan 1st - Duration: 7:51.

"Spoken word" is basically the performance of poetry so that's what we're here to do today.

So, we're going to do some movement activity, perform some poems,

it's gonna be lit. It's gonna be a great time.

For Gabriela McBride.

For when your voice does not feel like enough,

there are people lurking in your shadows,

they will try to make you forget who you are.

Do not let them steal your light.

Do not let them steal your voice.

Speaking up can be a scary thing

so take all the soot and dust from your throat

and put it all on paper.

Now you know exactly what to say,

but this does not make you a poet;

It makes you a person.

Scream! Loud!

Black girl!

Watch the world turn towards you!

They are waiting for you to say something

Say anything!

[DAY 124] Last Day in 2016: Busan Night View from BIFC ! - Duration: 3:39.

hello, grandma

how are you~?

waking up in this morning and realised:

"aiya!" it's already the last day of 2k16!

what should i do?

there're too many ppl celebrating on street

but staying at home is too dull

therefore, i decided to go out and enjoy a bike ride

i follow the cycling bath near metro station

and ride for around 3 station away

then stopped and take a rest

checking messages from friends,

enjoy the precious sunshine in this chilly day

take a pic (+ share it to family ^ ^ )

and go back for lunch

after lunch,

i worked (+ Internet surfing XD) until 4pm

and headed to BIFC

which stands for Busan International Financial Center

on every Sat

the 63/F Observatory is opened to public for free

may be today is the last day of 2k16

most ppl go for count-down party

so it isn't that crowded :)

the sunset is very pretty (& calming) !

see? it's really orange > v < (looks better with bare eye than this)

on the Observatory, there's a board

showing you the names of those buildings underneath

but to be honest,

from this angle,

all the skyscrapers look so small

and i can't really distinguish them haha

but why i stayed after witnessing the sunset?

form what i heard,

after 30mins of the sunset

it's the "golden time" for taking pic for night view

so i decided to wait for a while

and see if i could capture the city beauty at night :)

hm... i waited for 30min until 6pm

(which isn't that long ^ ^)

i could finally witness & capture the nightview >v<

well, it may not look that good in this video

but those photos taken from camera is quite good!

i decided to name this as

"The Last Traffic Jam in 2016"

i leave after this (with urgent hunger call for supper)

this elevator is real fast

going down form 63/F to ground floor

it only takes around 35 seconds!

there's a digital monitor inside

telling you the current speed of the elevator

the speed increases gradually

and the fastest m/min is 600m/min @0@

urm..you may also overhear other's conversation (as korean listening practice keke)

finally, we've arrived :)

there's a full-glass revolving door at the main entrance >v<

indeed love playing with it so much

so i went in and out twice before leaving (haha)

okay, this is the last video taken in 2k16

hope that we can let go

with the undesirable things happened in 2k16

and get ready for a brand new start in 2k17 :)

that's it for today and see you later ( ^ ^ )/

please stay healthy and wait for me to come back

bye bye~
