but it did just seem, like, poetic to put them in a bathroom

I remember we were really laughing at the idea,
uh, that Shoshanna would say, "The last six years have been

We can't hang out together anymore, because we cannot be
in the same room without one of us making it completely
and entirely about ourselves.
KONNER: She's letting go of these girls, and even if there's still

The performance, I thought, that Zosia did beautifully
is like a person who's like...
"You guys can keep doing this as long as you want,
but I have, like, a whole life, and it's literally
on the other side of this door."
In the beginning, also, you probably watched the show
and thought, "Oh, she's like this puppy dog.
-She doesn't seem that smart." -Right.
And then there was a choice made early on...
-What if she's, like, insanely smart? -Right.
Shosh's right...
She's right about everything.
They all basically say, like, let's peace out
on this friendship.
And then after finally saying to each other
what they were all thinking, they managed to actually
have fun and dance together and engage
-in a way they haven't in years. -KONNER: Yeah.
And Shoshanna kind of begrudgingly is like,
"I guess they're at my engagement party."
And Jessa and Hannah have that really sweet, emotional moment
that is sort of like... opens up the door for them to be able
to talk again.
GIRL: Okay, so we need one for wealth, one for romance,
and also one to promote, like, an ease of creativity.
Mmm, yeah. Like a candle is gonna help us find an apartment
that doesn't smell like hot wings.
GIRL: I literally don't care if it smells like hot wings
as long as you're there.
DUNHAM: I really like the moment when you see Hannah watching
the two girls who are excited to have moved to New York together.
KONNER: Oh, yeah! In the magic store?
In the witchcraft store, and they're buying candles
and, like, even the girls themselves, the actors,
they were so excited to be on a set. They were new
to acting. They were, like, thrilled. They couldn't believe
how good the lunch was, and it was a reminder to me that this
has been such a beautiful job to have,
and it's such a lucky thing, and never take it for granted.
And so just like it was, like, reminding Hannah
of her younger life, it was reminding me
of, like, the first day on the pilot where I was like,
-"There's chips everywhere!" -(KONNER, APATOW LAUGH)
