(LAUGHING)

Here's some more paper, guys.

-ELMO: Oh, thanks, Alan. -ABBY: Thanks, Alan!

-You're welcome. -Okay, just a little more green.

-Oh, that's nice. -Thank you!

Oh, hey. Welcome to Sesame Street.

-Oh, hi! -We are having some fun

with finger paints.

Oh, hi, guys. Hi, Elmo. Hi, Abby.

ELMO AND ABBY: Hi, Big Bird.

-ALAN: Hi! -(ELMO LAUGHS)

-Oh, who's this? -Oh, this is our friend, Julia.

Oh. Hi, Julia. I'm Big Bird. Nice to meet you.

BIG BIRD: Oh... Julia?

Julia's just concentrating on her painting right now.

You guys, you're all doing a great job.

-ELMO: Oh, thank you, Alan. -ABBY: Thank you, Alan.

-You're welcome. -Elmo loves finger painting.

Yeah, me too. I love the way the paint squishes

-in my fingers. -(GROANS)

Oh, you're right. I'm sorry, Julia.

I know you don't like the way it feels.

Uh-uh.

And that's why a paint brush works for you.

-There's lots of ways to paint. -Mm-hmm.

Okay... and there! Elmo's all done.

-(ELMO LAUGHS) -Yep. So am I.

Oh, can I see what you all painted?

-Oh, sure, Big Bird. -Wait, wait, wait, you guys.

Here. Wipe your hands off first.

-ELMO: Oh, right. -And I will show him.

Take a look.

BIG BIRD: Whoa. Those are both really great.

-ABBY: Aw, thank you. -ELMO: Aw, thank you, Big Bird.

May I see your painting, Julia?

BIG BIRD: Um, Julia?

Sometimes it takes Julia a while to answer.

It helps to ask again.

-Uh, Julia? -Hmm?

Can Big Bird see your painting?

"See your painting"? Yes.

Okay.

Oh, take a look at this, everybody.

-ELMO: Oh, wow! -BIG BIRD: Aah...

ELMO: A flying bunny, cool! (GIGGLES)

Fluffster.

ELMO: Oh, yeah. That looks just like your bunny, Fluffster.

I love it! Oh, it's so fun and silly.

-Julia, you're so creative. -(GIGGLES)

Yeah (CHUCKLES). You're really good at painting.

High-five, Julia.

-(JULIA LAUGHING) -Huh?

High-five?

Oh.

Oh.

Oh, Alan, I don't think Julia likes me very much.

Oh, you two are just meeting for the first time.

-(JULIA GIGGLING) -Oh.

So she's shy. Oh, I get that. I can feel shy sometimes too.

Well, with Julia, it's not just that.

-You see, she has autism. -Hmm.

She likes it when people know that.

Autism? Wh-- What's autism?

Well, for Julia,

it means that she might not answer you right away.

-Yeah, Julia doesn't say a lot. -Mm-hmm.

That's right. And she may not do what you expect.

Like give you a high-five.

Yeah, she does things just a little differently.

-In a... Julia sort of way. -(ELMO GIGGLES) Yeah.

Oh. Okay.

-And she's a lot of fun. -Yeah!

Oh, Julia likes being with her friends.

-Oh, and she loves to play too. -JULIA: Play, play, play!

-Play play, play! -(LAUGHING)

You want play now, Julia?

Play, play, play!

Oh, okay. We can all play together.

-Hey, that's a great idea! -Oh, me too. Can I play?

-ELMO: Sure, Big Bird. -ABBY: Sure thing.

Okay, so what should we play?

How about tag?

(LAUGHING)

I think that's a yes!

ELMO AND ABBY: Yeah!

Oh, Julia, you're bouncing like a rubber ball.

-Boing, boing, boing. -Boing, boing, boing.

Boing, boing, boing, boing!

(GIGGLES) Okay, Julia. One more thing.

-Tag, you're it! -(LAUGHING)

Um, wait. What's Julia doing?

ALAN: Well, it looks like she's playing tag while jumping.

JULIA: Boing, boing, boing...

I've never seen tag played like that.

Well, Julia does do some things a little differently.

Oh, because of her autism?

Sometimes people with autism may do things

that might seem confusing to you.

Oh, like when she flaps her hands?

Yep. That's just something she does when she's excited.

But you know what?

Julia also does some things that you might want to try.

Hmm.

ELMO AND ABBY: Boing, boing, boing, boing.

This is fun, Julia!

(LAUGHS) Hey, it's a whole new game.

-It's boing tag! -Boing, boing, boing...

-Boing. -(SCREAMS)

Oh, no! Now I'm it! I'm gonna get you.

Oh, it does look like a fun way to play.

That's right. It doesn't matter how they play,

they're just a bunch of friends having fun.

Huh. You know, I think I'd like to be a friend of Julia too.

All right. Well, then go on. Join in.

Boing, boing, boing, tag! You're it, Big Bird! (LAUGHS)

-Oh, okay. Uh... -BOTH: Boing, boing, boing.

BIG BIRD: Boing, boing, boing, boing, boing, boing, boing.

This is a new way of playing, Alan,

-but I like it. -That's good.

ALL: Boing, boing, boing, boing.

-(SIREN BLARING) -Oh. Uh-uh.

Uh-oh. What's the matter, Julia?

-(SIREN BLARING) -(WHIMPERS)

-Noise, noise, noise. -Noise?

The sirens are bothering you?

-(SIRENS CONTINUE) -Oh, noise, noise.

Oh, it's okay. It's okay, Julia.

Boing, boing, boing, boing, boing.

-Tag. You're it, Julia. -No! No!

-All right. Hey. -No! No! No! No!

Julia? Julia, let's take a break, okay?

-Break. Break. -Here's--

I've got Fluffster. All right? Come on.

-Break, break. -Come on.

Oh... Come on, Abby.

Big Bird?

I didn't-- I didn't mean to upset Julia.

Oh, it-- it's not your fault, Big Bird.

Julia didn't like the siren.

The siren? It wasn't that loud.

Well, it was to Julia.

Yeah. Her ears are really sensitive,

so some sounds are just too much for her.

Huh. Gee. I hope she's going to be okay.

-Oh, she will. -Oh, yeah, you know,

Julia just needs a break sometimes.

-She'll come back to play soon. -Hmm. I sure hope so.

(JULIA WHIMPERS)

I can see why this is your favorite spot, Julia.

It's so quiet up here.

Lot's of pretty flowers.

-It's very calming. -Fluffster.

Yeah, I know that Fluffster helps you feel calm, too.

(JULIA WHIMPERS)

Hey, why don't we do some of your deep breathing, okay?

Let's try it.

All right. Remember, take a big belly breath in.

(INHALES)

And slowly out. (EXHALES)

-And slowly in... -(BOTH INHALE)

-And slowly out... -(BOTH EXHALE)

-Feeling a little better? -(JULIA EXHALES)

-Better. -Good.

I love this view.

Look at Sesame Street.

ALAN: Everything seems different from up here, doesn't it?

Hmm. (GIGGLES)

Wait, what's so funny? What do you see?

JULIA: Big Bird. (GIGGLING)

ALAN: Yeah. Yeah, that's your new friend, Big Bird.

(GIGGLES) Big Bird.

Oh, but he looks like a small bird from up here, right?

(BOTH LAUGHING)

-Hey, you okay, Big Bird? -Yeah, what you doing?

Oh, I'm just thinking about Julia.

-Oh. -Oh.

You know, she's not like any friend I've ever had before.

Yeah, but, well, none of us are exactly the same.

Yeah, that's right.

I mean, you're a bird, and Elmo's a monster,

and I'm a fairy. We're all different.

-Yeah, I guess that's true. -Mm-hmm.

-All my friends are different. -Yep.

Each one is unique.

Look who's feeling better.

-ALL: Julia! -(ELMO GIGGLES)

-Big Bird. -For me?

-Oh. Gee, thanks, Julia. -ELMO: Aw...

-Oh, that's really kind of you. -(LAUGHS)

You know, we have something we both like to do.

I like to flap too! It's a bird thing, I guess.

-Watch. Flap, flap, flap. -ELMO: (LAUGHS) Oh!

(ELMO AND JULIA LAUGH)

(LAUGHS) Yeah, and I know that we both like to play.

-Play, play, play! -BIG BIRD: Oh, sure.

We can play some more.

Oh, oh. Can I play with you guys?

Oh, Elmo too?

Well, of course. We can all be friends.

Top 7: NoFap Benefits in 2 WEEKS! ► Benefits of NoFap (Attraction, Women, Scientific, Hair, Science) - Duration: 9:51.

Why should you do NoFap?

Well here are the 7 benefits you will receive in just two weeks of quitting porn and masturbation.

What's up guys?

Kevin from KreativeVein here and to clear up the air I've been on NoFap for a while

now, about a whole year -- and the thing is I've finally hit my stride and have quit forever.

So if you do want to learn how to quit for good and experience the crazy benefits that

will come in the future, watch this video on screen or in the description.

Also, if you haven't already, be sure to smash that subscribe button like you'll be smashing

a real girl instead of jacking off to a few pixels on screen.

The first benefit that you will notice is that you have more energy.

This helps with everything in life, but for me it's helped with having the energy to lift

weights, work on this YouTube channel, and having the energy to go out to new places

to meet new friends and girls.

You will feel like a new person if you've jacked off daily or more for a while.

If you only jack off once a week you will not experience these benefits as much as I

did, because at this time last year I was masturbating to the weirdest genres of porn

at least twice a day and even going a single day off porn would boost my energy.

Not sure if it's like this for you, but talking to a few of my boys we all have the same feeling

of drowsiness after cumming, whether by your hand, with a girl, or with a wet dream.

There's a reason why fighters like Mike Tyson stayed celibate for 5 years to use all his

pent up aggression to win.

It makes you more masculine, and there have been studies done that show testosterone levels

increase dramatically after retaining your semen.

However, there are most likely studies on both sides, one saying that masturbation is

good and another discouraging you, so the most important thing for you is to try it

for yourself for two weeks and see for yourself instead of just following other people.

The second benefit that I've received is being more confident.

I have a few theories on this and will make a video on why NoFap works on boosting people's

confidence, energy, etc., however this is a benefit that almost everyone on NoFap receives.

I'll go over two of my theories briefly: one is that because most guys are porn addicts,

and porn addicts tend to watch more and more extreme content over time (for instance, as

a 10 year old I got aroused by seeing a girl in a bikini, but fast forward to the age of

15 after jacking off daily for years, I had to see some weird ass shit to even get a semi-chub…

that shit sucked).

The thing is with more extreme content that doesn't even match up with what you truly

like (some straight guys start jacking off to gay porn as Brandon from OnePercentBetter

admitted), your confidence will definitely be shot because you jacked off to something

that you don't even like, and it's pretty fucking embarrassing if someone found out.

My second theory is simpler.

Just that when you stop, according to the study testosterone increases which is the

hormone which makes you more dominant and more willing to take risks, such as speaking

up when your teacher is being a racist bitch… anyways.

The third benefit within two weeks is a deeper voice.

This is definitely not just me thinking I have a deeper voice, you can see what I mean

in the 10K subscriber special where I'm looking back at me last year who was just getting

started with NoFap and me now after being on an almost 3-week streak (not counting days

because I quit forever but I'm more-so just doing it so I can see the benefits on a timeline).

A deeper voice is sexy as fuck if you didn't know.

The fourth benefit I've seen is a higher sex drive.

As in a real sex drive.

I used to think that well, since I jack off pretty often my libido is probably just high

and I should do it because that's what nature tells me to do.

But the thing is, porn isn't nature.

I didn't jack off because I wanted the orgasm...

I jacked off because I wanted the high of watching a hot girl.

Over time I realized, shit... my dick is practically soft but I'm still jacking off.

Why am I doing this?

Definitely not because I really want to orgasm, I've already orgasmed 2 times today.

It was because I was addicted to the dopamine release in my brain.

Apparently porn's high is similar to a morphine high.

Crazy shit.

Now I don't have to worry about getting hard.

I wake up in the morning like I did back when I wasn't addicted, with wood that's harder

than a fucking rock.

And I don't need those weird fetishes anymore to get off, when I'm talking to a girl I'm

attracted enough to be aroused.

The only thing about this is that you will get boners at random times, but to be honest

it doesn't really matter, just sit down for a minute and then keep going.

If you weigh the options, I'd rather be a testosterone filled guy with a few random

boners than a "beta male" who has erectile dysfunction.

The 5th benefit is a clear mind.

Instead of always being in this state of anxiety or just not being able to think without being

distracted, you know what the fuck you want in life.

Last year I'd always questioned why I was in school and how barely any of the shit that

I learned would actually benefit me, but I always got sidetracked and ended up being

the kid that sat in the back of the class wishing for the school day to be over so I

could go home, jack off, and watch YouTube videos until I went to sleep.

Now I understood what I should do with my time.

School is actually a good place to meet other kids unless you're in a school full of delinquents,

but you can probably meet intelligent people there too considering a lot of the smartest

kids at my school are the drug dealers.

So instead of complaining I started working hard and using my time well, spending some

periods scripting videos and brainstorming throughout the day, as well as learning social

dynamics, and getting over fears.

That's just one example of how I started to use my mind in a more purposeful way instead

of fantasizing in school all day about the girl sitting one seat ahead and to the left

of me.

Now I'm more calm, focused on the present moment, and just have fun at school or use

the time on something that I not only enjoy but will benefit me in the long term.

There is no more brainfog anymore.

I don't know how to describe it except for how life is calmer yet having more energy.

The 6th benefit is enjoyment in life again.

Do you remember your childhood (hopefully without porn, I have read stories on NoFap

about how as kids they were sexually abused and started developing sexual disorders as

young children)... but do you remember how when you were a kid, small things had you

interested?

I remember playing with legos, digging holes with my friends at school, being completely

immersed in riding a bike or just listening to the birds outside?

I still get this weird feeling of happiness when I hear birds chirping, but the reason

for this is pretty simple for me to understand.

Over time, if you keep subjecting yourself to highs, normal things in life that used

to make you happy will be boring.

It's not boring for me to hang out and talk with friends anymore.

It's not boring to play basketball and to compete hard.

It's not boring to read a book on a topic I'm interested about anymore.

Instead of overloading your brain with crazy highs (because we were wired to enjoy sex

to reproduce and pass on our genes) -- you are able to enjoy small things, nice weather,

chilling with a girl, making videos haha.

Life feels so much better.

And music sounds better too -- though I may try cutting music out as an experiment, maybe

that will help as well.

The 7th and last benefit is just being able to control yourself.

Last year I could not control myself at all.

When I needed to respond to emails for my old business or write an essay for my English

class, I didn't want to and instinctively rationalized -- hey, right now I don't feel

like it, so if I take a "break" by watching some porn I'll be calmer later.

That shit didn't work in the 8th, 9th, or 10th grade at all, but I couldn't control

myself.

I was told it was normal on Yahoo Answers as a 6th grader so I just trusted it and rationalized

despite the fact that the results proved otherwise.

Now I know what's right and what's wrong.

I got high as fuck one day and realized, shit I don't like this and even though it feels

good in the moment, I'm not smoking unless it's a social thing.

So I declined a few offers at school and on the bus riding home.

I know how to stop watching videos or talking to girls at night because I have to sleep

so tomorrow I can wake up, work on Kreative, and work out.

Having control over yourself may sound like it's a lot of responsibility, but it really

just allows you to get what you want.

Now I have a body that I like a ton, and girls like too instead of being skinny-fat.

Now I'm doing shit that I love on YouTube instead of school.

Now I can be more social instead of being the awkward kid I was last year.

That's all I've got for you today.

There are many, many more benefits to NoFap, and more will come in the future, this is

only quitting for 2 weeks!

But stay tuned and if you enjoyed, be sure to smash that subscribe button and let me

know what other videos I should make.

Kevin from KreativeVein, peace.

Florida Fishing: Is a charter boat worth it? - Duration: 11:18.

Alrght, we're focused. What's up guys?

We're going out on a charter.

Charters can get really frikkin expensive.

The question today is:

Is a charter worth it?

Let's find out.

I hope I dont get sea sick!

I don't want anyone to know,

but I do get sea sick sometimes...

and I don't want to ruin the trip for everyone...

You're just going to have to swallow it if it happens...

No, I'm going to chum!

If it comes out, it's going in the water,

it's bringing in the fish,

'cause that's just the nature of me.

I'm always trying to attract people, trying to attract fish,

and, um, if I throw up I'll turn it from negative to positive,

it'll be a good thing.

We're about to start fishing now, huh? Yup.

Bait.

What kind of bait?

Mojarra.

What kind of fish are we going to be, uh, targeting right now?

Right now, mostly bluefish, because I know they're in here,

I've been seeing a lot of reports and a lot of my friends have been catching them,

um, but, hopefully we're going to get some nice snook, uh, some big red fish,

jacks are always, always in here.

The snook right now are averaging over 30 inches-- Uh-huh--

So that's... -- Pretty good!

Alright guys, you're gonna have to reel it up, I'm going to have to get us in,

we're getting a little close to the rocks.

We're gonna drift to these bumpers, so you can cast out and start your drift now...

We're movin'-- We're moving super fast...

That guy's brave...

Woah, we're going so fast...

Yeah, we're moving 5 miles an hour right now.

Swims like a fish!

Ah... Oh....

Oh, the hook gone...

Yeah, you can't, uh,

You can't really horse them a lot in here in this current,

Just a little slower rod-tip raises,

M'kay. Um...

Lesson to learn... It'll get it, yeah,

It takes-- It's a steep learning curve.

What you got there, Killian? You using those goofy jigs? Yeah!

Nice... first fish of the day. Yup.

I'm putting a live bait rig together.

Gonna put a shrimp or a mojarra on here...

Shrimp?

So, do we want to try and keep this toward the bottom?

Just cast it out straight and just let it drift, we're just gonna drift it.

Gotcha.

We've had so much wind lately, it's just been--

Stirring everything up?

Got'em?

Yup!

Yeah just keep that-- keep that line tight!

Keep reelin' on him.

That's a pretty strong fish... Little jack.

Got one, or are you hooked on the bottom?

See how that circle hook gets them right there in that little meaty part of the jaw? Every time...

Little guy...

(No, if you put the steel on your bite ratio is gonna go down a lot.)

Yeah?

Ooh! Got one!

There we go! Fish on in the back!

Heck yeah, buddy! I think I'm just gonna grip her-- Woahh!! Whoo!

Hoo hoo! Whoo!

Alright, worry about fighting that fish.

Yeah!!

Look up!!

Whoo!

Come on, jump!

Whoo! She's jumpin'!

These are huge!

Yeah, man, they're big, alright, bring 'em up..

Holy monster blue...

There we go!

Yeah-ha-ha-ha-ah! Whoo! Friggin' biggest blue I've ever seen...

Biggest blue I've ever seen!

That's uh-- You don't usually get them that big? Noo!

Quarter of the size, if that!

I mean, the ones we get this guy would eat!

Yup. Hah!

Oh, wow!

Nice.

Uh! We don't want to lose him, he's bait! Hah! He's shark bait.

Yes!

So-- He looks like a shark...

Got one? Fish on!

Oh yeah, that's a fish.

On the memory stick!

I feel like I'm up north!

Whoo! A little bit bigger!

Really?

Oh, bigger! Nice! Damn, Dad! Look at that,

a shark got a hold of him!

Yeah? What!?

A shark hit him!

Just now, right?

Not just now, no. He'd be bleeding like crazy-- he'd be bleeding like crazy, yeah he got nailed.

Wow...

(Erin feeling very sick.)

Whoahh! There we go! Oh!

Baby girl got one! Oh my gosh, what the hell...

Whoah!

Let it fight, Erin! Let it fight, let it fight! Remember?

Yeah, I know, but it jumped!

Just let it fight, the only way you'll lose it is if you try and horse it in right now. Yeah...

It's getting tired..

It's getting tired? Yeah-- ooh! Whoo! Maybe not!

Dang, Erin, that's a big one!

Yup, bring him up, bring him up, bring him up!

Leader-- got'em..

Alright!

Dang! And the hook popped out right here! Popped right out!

Perfect! Perfect timing.

How did that feel?

Whoo!

I want you to see its teeth.

Look at that!

Holy crap!

You do not want to get bitten by one of these!

That's amazing...

Look at those teeth...

So we got three nice keepers!

I think this is keeper size, right? Is this keeper size?

Ay cap, are these, are these, are these uhh keeper size?

I think they might be!

What Justin was saying is that,

they don't usually run this big,

this is the first time he's ever seen the bluefish this big from the inlet,

so, we are very lucky to have been invited on to this boat,

and to see all this, um, all this crazy, huge bluefish action here.

Here would have been the spot. Alright guys.

Whoop!

Here you go, Erin.

The beauty of the charter boat is, um,

not only will the captain put you on fish,

but you can tell the captain what you want to do,

so we chose to, to hang out by these flats now,

and, uh, we're looking for little sea creatures and, um,

that hide in the weeds and stuff.

What's that smell? It smells weird...

Uhm, it's probably you stepped on a sulfur pocket or something, I'm not sure.

Alright, Killian, what you up to?

I already caught one really cool-looking green shrimp, look at that shrimp.

Chartreuse / green shrimp.

Woah! That's a shrimp? Shrimp!

It's swimming around!

Cool!

So, I've been eating a lot of Cuban food around here, and Puerto Rican food,

and their diet consists of a lot of beans...

and, uh, a lot of pork...

so, I-I, I've literally been farting all morning,

and, um, I don't know if anyone's been noticing, but...

they're pretty rank...

What did you find there?

Treasure?

Ugh, it stinks... (Brendon laughing) It stinks?

I don't know what it is, babe.

What is that? I'm serious...

It's so stinky... Is it seaweed?

I think I just cut my foot on this...

Erin, let's look for some hermit crabs.

(Brendon gasps) Erin, it's alive!

Look at that! You found a live-- con-- I think it's a--Ooh! It's peeing!

Drink it, drink it! No... Quick! Noo....

Drink it!

Stop it!

It's alive!

Ooh, a little file fish,

Woah!

A lot of little crabs...

There's a shrimp, a nice- sized shrimp.

Oh, look! A pipe fish, a little tiny pipe fish!

Woah!

I wouldn't want that swimming up my... dick... Yeah...

well, in the Amazon they have ones that do it. I know!

Need a push?

Hey, if anybody knows...

if anybody's watching this...

and they know what this is, please let us know.

We're not allowed to keep snails, so we're going to let it go right now.

Alright guys, if you want to do this same charter experience,

this guy, Justin, he's a very good captain, awesome person to be around,

and he put us on some really big bluefish, and that's the awesome part is: he can put you on some fish.

If you are interested in it, check out his Facebook page, Team Sea Legs.

His favorite kind of fishing to do is the off-shore fishing, the vertical jigging.

So, if you're down to do that give him a call.

So this is dinner? Dinner.

Yeah!

Alright, we're back at the shop now,

Killian is gonna fillet this huge bluefish,

and, uh, show us how he does it,

we actually need to take out the oil line,

what's called an oil line

on this bluefish so that it doesn't taste so fishy and oily.

A lot of people don't like to eat bluefish,

we're going to try it today ourselves,

we're going to bring it to a restaurant, and we'll be the judge ourselves.

Alright, so we've got the garlic and butter bluefish here,

and then we've got the blackened bluefish,

we've got a conch burger, grilled conch burger,

conch fritters,

... salad...

and the smoked mullet, which we had the other day and let me say, it was delicious.

Alright, so supposedly this is a very oily fish,

I don't know...

Doesn't smell too fishy...

Tastes like chicken.

I literally think everything tastes like chicken...

I think it tastes like fish.

Tastes like high- grade fish, really, it's delicious.

It's pretty delicious.

It's got a great flavor and texture--

Who says they don't like eating bluefish?

Everybody!

Why?

It tastes delicious! -- Common wisdom!

Listen, he knows how to fillet them.

If you fillet it correctly, take that oil like out, THEN tell me you don't like it.

And tell me why, (it's good,) because I really like it.

Tasty. Mhmm. Mmm, very good!

Thank you, everyone, for watching this video, we really appreciate your support,

if you could hit that subscribe button, we would like you even more!

A very special thanks to Team Sea Legs and Native Tackle Supply for putting us on these fish,

I THOUGHT I WAS "AWAKE" UNTIL THIS HAPPENED TO ME - Duration: 11:03.

I

THOUGHT I WAS AWAKE UNTIL THIS HAPPENED TO ME

BY ELINA ST-ONGE

I was about 17 years old when I first heard about the December 2012 phenomenon. Although

skeptical of doomsday theories and esoteric predictions, it was the trigger that led me

down the internet rabbit hole, where I spent hours upon hours researching subjects ranging

from alien beings communicating with planet Earth to our debt-based monetary system calling

for a mass revolution.

I was never the same since. I knew these ideas seemed far-fetched to most people, yet within

this maze of alternative information, I still was able to find gems of truth reminding me

that there is more to life than what Id been told. That I wasnt broken just

because I didnt fit in this world or had talents that werent valued in school. That

maybe it is society that is broken and that my mission was to help transform it.

I am now 26 years old, and I still stand by what I said. I still feel deep within my bones

that we are in the midst of a mass consciousness shift where the status quo is rapidly losing

credibility. I still believe that a world where we destroy the Earth for profit and

hoard wealth while others starve is unnecessary. I still believe I am here to shake things

up and make a change. Yet I also believe that the whole new age/conspiracy whirlwind of

information out there may be slowing down the very same personal and collective evolution

it promotes.

I can stand here and talk to you about the field of infinite possibilities, but what

do you DO with that?

 Dan Millman

New Age and Conspiracy Information: Distracting Us From Our True Power and Purpose?

Dont get me wrong: In no way do I want to discredit the value of information that

helps highlight societys ills and open the mind to new possibilities. It has been

a crucial part of my own path but one that I had to outgrow in order for me to truly

grow up.

Let me explain. Learning about the latest government scheme, astrology forecast, and

health craze has its place, but ultimately, it is not the thing that will MAKE you a better

human being. It is not the thing that makes you a more caring and loving person, or bring

you strength, spirit, and resiliency in challenging times. Dissecting the subject of quantum physics,

knowing about the thirteen illuminati bloodlines, or scrutinizing a politicians every move

wont necessarily help you be a positive player in your community, or bring you the

focus and practical wisdom needed to get your life together. Information lives in your head.

It is the quality of your being that determines how well you participate in the dance of life.

Ultimately, information is as valuable as its usefulness to our daily lives.

 UpliftedLife.com

A Friend and Mentor Who Taught Me to Embrace the Basics

Ideas, words, and concepts are everywhere, flooding our newsfeeds on a second-to-second

basis. The trick is to ask ourselves: Can I put this information to good use? Will this

benefit my life? Can this help me grow into the best version of myself if I apply it?

My dear friend and mentor Kosta Stoyanoff, the founder of Uplifted Life, has continually

reminded me of this ever since I met him in 2015. He also reminded me that all the inspiring

quotes I post on Facebook or truths I intellectually understand will never replace the value of

even the tiniest and seemingly ordinary steps I can take within my own life. Things like

washing the dishes with care, eating a meal slowly, being grateful for what I have, taking

more deep breaths throughout the day, being attentive and caring to my wonderful mother,

and taking more time to really be there for the little things in life.

He would tell me that these small humbling shifts in my attention, perspective, thoughts,

and attitude would not only add up to a HUGE shift in my health, abundance, and happiness

levels, but would become the solid foundation on which I could begin doing truly meaningful

work from a space of love rather than ego.

The beginnings of all great things are small.

 Cicero

Now youd think Kostas loving advice made it easy for me to commit to making those

fundamental shifts. But the truth is, I wasnt ready. I couldnt slow down my monkey mind

just yet. Although I nodded in agreement, my ego squirmed at the idea, and I instead

spent another year searching for more for something bigger, more glamorous, and

more revolutionary than simply getting in touch with ordinary life

I thought I needed to spend more time digging into childhood traumas and past lives to justify

my wounds. I still searched for miracle supplements that would fix the health issues I was experiencing.

I got involved in ambitious projects that I believed would change the world without

me having to change. I searched for everything and anything except what would bring me face

to face with my own power and responsibility to transform from the inside out.

At the end of that year, I was more confused and disillusioned than ever before. My health

had plummeted. My stress levels were still high. I was everything but at peace with myself

even after all the dizzying self-work I thought I was doing. Thats when I reached

out to my good ol trusty friend Kosta again and said I finally get it. I am ready to

go back to the basics.

You dont truly understand something until you apply it. Same goes for wisdom.

 UpliftedLife.com

When I Finally Began to Walk the Talk

Little by little, I began contemplating the ways in which I lived my life. I noticed just

how much of my attention was fragmented in dozens of useless places from false relationships

to mindless smartphone usage. I began observing how often I would engage in defeatist self-talk

despite all my positive Facebook posts. I saw how my mind would create an abundance

of stories about whats missing in my life, while ignoring the wonderful blessings

all around me. And finally, I realized that the same amount of power, belief, and attention

I put in negative thought patterns could instead be used to fuel more positive perspectives

and beneficial daily habits. It sure sounds simple, and it is! But it seems as though

for most of us, the challenge of a lifetime is to let go of our attachment to an old story

of self that gets in the way of us remembering and applying the most basic of truths.

It is easy to think about complex things, but often difficult to apply the simplest

things. The former can be entertaining, but the latter is where we get to grow and transform

our lives.

 UpliftedLife.com

Its Not About You

We think that self-development is all about getting our own lives straight. And

yes, thats a wonderful benefit! But the real beauty in becoming the best version of

ourselves is how it positively impacts the lives of those around us. Whether you are

a stay-at-home mom, serve coffee for a living, or run a major corporation, evolving into

your highest, most loving, and kindest self is no small feat. It means children who will

grow up to be wiser and more loving citizens of Earth. It means customers who will go back

to their workspaces and families with a lighter heart. It means companies who will shift from

self-serving motives to a greater purpose.

This is why going back to the basics is more than just a cute thought. When applied

and embodied, they change your life. And when millions live by them, they change the world.

Whether you accept it or not, each life is linked to all life. Your state of being,

thoughts, words and actions create a ripple effect; much like a stone thrown into a pond.

The quality of that ripple effect is your legacy.

Wie man ein ß schreibt | Eszett, scharfes S, "German B letter" [learn German][Deutsch lernen] - Duration: 7:01.

This is the Eszett (ß).

Hi, I'm Marco from AuthenticGermanLearning.com

and today I teach you how to write the Eszett – the sharp s

or "the German B" as some call it.

So, I've got a notepad and then I'll try

to write it as visible as possible for you.

And when you write Eszett by hand, then ...

We begin. So about here is the line. I hope you see it well.

We begin here, we go up, then we go very far down

and then we go up again and then we form the "B" and then we continue.

I can write for example ... I can write: I ... (Let's write everything in cursive.)

"I" and then: hei ... And then, here: So, of course, I write "My name is ..."

and I wrote "hei" and then, after the i, I go up as I said.

I went up very high and then I go very far down,

like a p, as if I would write a p. With the p, I'd also go very far down.

And then back up to the top again and then the "B" and then a e.

So that's how one would write "My name is". Maybe I have exaggerated a bit;

so perhaps one does not have to go down quite so far, so I can also write ...

Like this! I would just write it like this, if I would write it quickly.

And that's how we write the small ß. That's how we write the lowercase letter.

And how do you write the capital ß?

How do you write the Eszett, if you want to write a capital letter?

Well, that was a trick question.

You see, there is [officially] no uppercase ß, because no word begins with ß.

One finds the ß only in lowercase in a word, never at the beginning.

If I want to write everything in capital letters ... Suppose I say:

Okay, I now write "ich heiße": I - capital C - capital H. Like this.

And then: capital H - capital E - capital I ... And what do I do now?

After all, the ß only exists in lowercase!

Well, I write ... If I want to write everything in capital letters, I write:

S - S - then E. Then I write it this way.

I write the ß again over the whole page and you're welcome to practice it at home as well.

Take a piece of paper and participate! Yes? Then we can write the ß together.

I start in the middle or on the line. Like this. Then we go up, then down, then again very high,

then the "B" and then we go on. This is the ß.

And of course as is always the case:

Everyone has their own cursive handwriting and everyone writes things a bit differently.

That means, one person won't make this gap here that large

another will make the "B" a bit smaller and so on.

There, you're welcome to make your own variation. As long as you're going up, then down,

then the "B" and then it's already a sharp s. It's actually not that hard, okay?

Now you can write the ß, if you have a pen.

But what do you do when you want to write the ß with the keyboard?

Well, if you have the US keyboard, for example

then there is no way to write the ß for you at first.

You have to change your keyboard to German.

Or: There are certain websites with which you can write the ß

and I'll leave you a link in the description to this website.

Alright? Or you just copy the ß from somewhere and insert it into your sentence.

But the best option with the computer is of course with certain websites.

Or you just switch your keyboard.

Thank you for watching and see you next time. Bye!
