Scaling an Agency: Growth Focused Strategy with Sujan Patel - Duration: 3:13.

Sujan Patel is a well accomplished marketer.

He runs this company called Web Profits.

He's got a blog that's been cranking out content

for the last few years and a YouTube channel

that has very very in depth marketing content.

He was on the Digital Agency Marketing Podcast recently

and here's what we learned from the interview.

Number one is focus on post acquisition marketing.

- The reason I focus so much on that is one,

it's an open market for the most part, right.

I mean, if somebody comes to you,

they purchase from you, they trust you enough to--

You got them through the door

and they trust you enough to give you their credit card,

you might as well keep that going.

Your customers are the best way to get new customers.

All you have to do is engage them

and the thing I see the most people making a mistake on

is they hear things like me saying this

or other people saying this or read articles

and they're like, "Yeah, we're gonna go engage them now."

And it's not a tactic, it's not something

you can just do today and get the results tomorrow.

It's something you have to kinda nurture,

just as you get somebody's email and you nurture them.

You don't just leave them high and dry,

otherwise the engagement open rates are gonna be horrible.

- Number two is attract the right type of clients.

- Yeah, I always look at what I'm doing today,

I'm looking for ROI from it one, two years from now.

I look at the metrics as driving factors

to that one, two year ROI.

Now when I got started I did a lot of cold emails.

I focus on building relationships.

That's one big part of my marketing approach

and it's not necessarily for marketing,

it's just good business, makes me a better human being.

So what I mean is I wanna hang out

with other people that are like-minded,

both professionally and personally,

and sometimes that turns into business,

sometimes it doesn't.

I've built a lot of great friends this way.

So anyways, it's a mix of things,

but I think when it comes to content marketing specifically

I always have like a 90 day content calendar

and I'm always thinking, "Okay, this is an idea,

"but who's the article title, who's the article for?"

And does it meet the customers I'm trying to go after?

- Number three is document every process.

- We have a very daisy chain training process.

The person who just mastered something

is the one who's teaching the next person

who they're gonna pass that work to,

so that everyone's kind of leveling up.

- [Alex] Are there any best practices

you've found for that training process?

- Documentation, like here's the 10 things to do.

Take screenshots, make the person

who's doing the training write it up

and then do the training and sit there and watch them.

Make sure you review the documentation.

At the end of the day, when you're training people

it's all about the documentation,

the process and everything like that.

So we use a tool called SweetProcess,

so we have a process for everything.

We don't always need to follow the process,

we adjust things and change things around

but I've found that when the person

who's gonna be the one training

is forced to actually write it down

and say, "Here's how you do it."

One, they get better at it, they find the holes

and two, when they are forced to take that information

and they explain it, they realize how to do it better,

again, and they also just master it.

- To hear the full interview,

Birthday Book Haul + Unboxing | 2017 - Duration: 6:16.

Hey guys, it's Trina. My birthday was

earlier this week, or maybe it was last week

depending on whenever you are watching

this video, but it was recently and so I

want to show you guys some of the books

that I have gotten for my birthday

and doing an unboxing of a couple of

these books that I don't know what they

are yet. I don't get a ton of birthday

gifts each year and I don't get a ton of

books and I'm totally fine with that but

I've got about seven or eight books.

One of my best friends in real life that

I've known for years sent me a flower

arrangement and I told her I'd show it

in my video so these are the

flowers that you sent me, Becca. Thank you

very much. I think they're very beautiful!

I haven't seen many purple flowers but I

love purple so these are really really

pretty! I'm going to start with the book

that I got for myself and this is

probably no surprise. That is Given

To The Sea by Mindy McGinnis and I bought

this actually with a gift credit so it was

kind of a gift to me, I didn't have to

spend any money on it. Given To The Sea

is Mindy's first fantasy novel

and this is the first book in a fantasy

duology. This book is set on an island

where there are four or five different

kingdoms, different groups of people, and

the ocean is hungry - they all think it's

hungry, that it keeps taking over more

and more land. And so these people

believe that the only way to abate the

ocean is to throw one of the royal

family bloodline into the ocean to kind

of like, as a sacrifice to get the ocean

to back down and keep their land safe.

But this generation the sacrifice in the

royal bloodline is not ready yet so the

rest of the kingdoms are getting scared

that they're losing their land and that

the ocean is gonna sweep them all away

so they start fighting for control of

the highest point on the island because

that is the safest place. I've had a few

people ask me if I will be reviewing

this one and the answer to that is yes.

When I am finished with this book I will

give it its own individual review video.

The next three books that I got were all

from my husband, these were a complete

surprise to me. He gave me the first

three books in the Raven Cycle series by

Maggie Stiefvater. I owned the last book,

The Raven King and I do like this series. I'm

hesitant of some of Maggie's other work

but I really enjoyed The Raven Cycle

series and he gave them to me to

complete my collection, which is nice to

have a completed series because I'm

in the habit of only getting like the

last book in a series and then never

going back and buying the rest of them.

If you don't know, The Raven Cycle

series is kind of an urban fantasy,

paranormal series about a group

of high school kids that go on this

quest to find the resting place of a

dead Welsh King because they believe

that whoever finds his tomb will be

granted a wish and all these different

characters in this friend group they all

have different reasons, different things,

that they want to wish for if they find

him. The next book that I got for my

birthday is one that I don't actually

physically have yet because it was a

pre-order. It's from Meagan Precourt. She

pre-ordered me a copy of When Dimple Met

Rishi by Sandhya Menon and this is a

book that I have really been looking

forward to. It comes out May 30th.

I'm really excited about it because it

sounds really cute. I've been hearing a

lot of really good early reviews for it.

I believe it's an own voices

representation of Indian American

characters and that it is a contemporary

romance. Thank you so much Meagan for

pre-ordering me a copy of this because

I'm really excited to get this one when

it comes out! So now I'm going to open

the two boxes that I have received.

How do I even open this?

How did they even tape this together? like this is actually confusing.

[rustling sounds]

Oh okay. I think I know who

this is from just by seeing the name of

it. This is Grave Mercy by Robin

LaFevers and this is a historical

series about assassins, and let me see

here this is from. This was sent to

me by my friend Emily Hornburg and I

suspected that she was the one that sent

me this because I know that she enjoys

this series. This is one that I have been

meaning to read for forever but it is a

historical YA novel about assassins.

Like, I think it's about these girls who

become nuns but really they're assassins.

I heard some really good reviews of it

like years ago, and let me see when this

one even came out.

There's a map in the front of this book, guys! That is really cool.

So this was published in 2012 so it

hasn been out for a while and I think

there are three books in the series and

each one of the books follows a

different one of the female assassin

characters. I'm actually really excited

to have this one and finally read it so

thank you so much, Emily, and I know that

you love this series so whenever I do

get to this one I will definitely chat with you about it.

And then my other box

[cardboard ripping]

Okay so there are two books in here?

I've got Far From You by Tess Sharpe.

And The Hate U Give by Angie Thomas.

These were sent to me from my friend Kayla Rayne

and she knew that I already have read

The Hate U Give and really loved it

and it is the book that I wanted to own.

And if you aren't familiar with this book it

is an own voices story about a black

teenager who witnesses her best friend

being shot and killed by a white

police officer. And then the other book

that Kayla Rayne got for me was Far

From You and she has talked a lot about

this book. I don't really know if I

remember what it's about but the way

that Kayla Rayne has talked about it has

made me really want to read this one. Let

me just read this real quick and make sure

that I've got the right story in mind. So

this one is ta YA thriller mystery that

has a main character that has an

addiction to prescription pain pills and

when her best friend dies, is murdered,

she is partially blamed so she sets out

to like solve her friend's murder. And I

know that Kayla Rayne has talked about the

representation in this book before and said

that it has really good different types

representation but I don't remember

everything but I know that it has the

main character with addiction and I

think that there's a f/f

romance in this book, but I feel like

Kayla Rayne has said this one is a very

inclusive story. I know that she really loves

it so thank you so much, Kayla Rayne, I

would love to check out this book that I

know you love so much and again when I

read it I will definitely chat with you

about it. That is my birthday book haul

and unboxing. I hope that you guys

enjoyed hearing about these books and

knowing what I got. I don't know, like, it's weird

to just be like, 'hey here's what I

got for my birthday!' And I will be having

that spring book haul come up in May and

I'm hoping also to do a library check

outs haul sometime soon so keep an

eye out for those. Thank you guys so much

for watching. Let me know what the last

book that you got was and I will see you

in the comments. Bye!

There's a dove sitting outside of my window just

staring at me. Hi dove, would you like to

read one of these books? You're really

cute. [laughing] That is so bizarre!

And the dove is back.

6 Ways A Spiritually Enlightened Person Views Death - Duration: 7:18.

6 Ways A Spiritually Enlightened Person Views Death

Death is a destination shared by all living things.

People view death with fear, as means of escape from worldly suffering, or a natural process

of replacing the old with new, based on their own way of thinking.

Different religions and cultures view spiritual enlightenment in different lights, but the

basic meaning remains that being enlightened is having full comprehension of our purpose

of life which ends with death.

According to the author of On Death and Dying Elizabeth Kubler Ross, death is nothing

but a peaceful cessation of the functioning of the body.

A spiritually enlightened person does not fear death but views in different ways based

on philosophy of his/her life.

6.

Death helps us perceive impermanence of life:

Awareness of death helps people perceive the eventual futility of worldly bonds, relationships,

pleasures and wealth.

The followers of Buddha are often encouraged to meditate on death, as it helps them to

understand the impermanence of life which helps them from falling victims to worldly

pleasures and greed.

People who fear death often try to hide from it by immersing themselves in superficial

happiness.

When we understand the inevitability of death, we can focus more on spiritual enlightenment

and self actualization as we know that death can strike any moment and the time we have

on hand counts.

5.

Death is not be feared:

Epicurus stated, Death is nothing to us, since when we are, death has not come, and

when death has come, we are not. There is no meaning in spending our lives in fear

of death, because we as people do not feel the pain of death.

We cease to exist, so does our pain and suffering.

A person can live a life of satiation and tranquility when his mind is free from the

fear of death.

Spiritually enlightened people strive to overcome the fear of death and perceive it as an end

of pain and suffering

4.

Death is peaceful sleep:

We end every day with a peaceful sleep in the night, so do we end our lives with a longer

sleep known as death.

With wisdom comes the enlightenment that, like a person who spends the day fruitfully

sleeps peacefully in the night, so does a life well spent life brings peaceful unperturbed

death.

Ceasing of senses happens to us every time we go sleep; death is nothing much different

than this other, than we do not wake from the next morning.

3.

Life is trial:

According to the philosophy of life after death; our present life is nothing but a preparation

for the permanent afterlife.

The followers of many religions believe in life after death in next realm.

They consider death to be a passage which leads them to be one with their creator, in

other words death means being unified with God.

The acceptance of life after death has enabled the believers to accept that God is ultimately

just and whatever injustice happens on earth has a reason.

The life after death philosophy helps people to overcome the grief, fear and fatality of

death.

2.

Death is not an end but a new beginning:

People, who believe in rebirth and reincarnation of souls, do not consider death a calamity

or end, but a new beginning through rebirth.

Followers of Hinduism believe that man creates his own destiny on earth, as his actions are

responsible for how he will be reborn.

People often try to attain freedom from this cycle of birth and rebirth by attaining Moksha.

Therefore death is not viewed as a calamity but freedom from the suffering of a vicious

cycle.

On the other birth is viewed as continuing of the suffering, but an opportunity to earn

Moksha.

1.

Death is certainty of life:

Death is a proof that no matter how much we progress, as mortals we are ultimately helpless

and vulnerable when the end comes.

Spiritually enlightened people hold death as a mirror that helps them to accept other

facets of life that cannot be controlled.

In the fast changing world, the spiritually enlightened people see death as an unchanging

certainty and constant factor of the universe.

People, who fear and try to hide from death, will ultimately, fail in living their life

to the fullest, whereas death will make its appearance when it has to.

Youtube Calligraphy collaborations - What's next? - Duration: 10:42.

What's up guys?

Milenist here!

You might've seen me already in another video, in person or this might be the first time

we meet, so let me introduce myself.

My name is Milen Balbuzanov, I'm 27 years old, from Ruse, Bulgaria and I'm currently

working and living in Copenhagen, Denmark.

I started Calligraphy 4 years ago and 1 year later I founded Calligraphy Masters, so yeah

- I'm the founder & editor of Calligraphy Masters and that's pretty much all you need

to know...

So who are you??

Let me know..

What are you doing?

Are you doing Calligraphy as well?

How long are you doing?

Are you considering to start writing or... what are you?

I'm really interested to know more about you guys, the people who are watching this channel.

And yeah let me know more about yourself...

Like in Calligraphy in video editing and pretty do/ pretty much everything I do, I'm self

taught, so I would like to know if there are more people who are self taught that are watching

the videos or they are some of you who started Calligraphy with classes and workshops and...

aaa?!?!!?

You have some more professional knowledge and guidance in this field.

ca Calligraphy Masters was started 3 years ago, but back than I started developing only

the Facebook page, when I started Calligraphy Masters on Facebook, my goal was to reach

100K until the end of the year and I failed with that goal, actually we reached 100K few

months ago.

Currently our Facebook fan page has more then 125K followers.

Year and half ago I started developing the Instagram account and currently on Instagram

we have the biggest audience, it has more than 224K followerss sssss (ahahahaa) and

few months ago I started developing the Youtube channel... which is the network, which I should

have started developing in the very beginning, but it is what it is, better late than never,

right?

I LOVE Youtube, I don't know I'm really in love with this platform, it gives much more

opportunities than Facebook and Instagram in so many ways..

I fell in love with video editing thanks to my friend Mano Yasar and 2 Youtubers - Casey

Neistat & PewDiePie.

They MADE me fall in LOVE with video editing and with Youtube it self.

I'm giving more and more focus to the videos and hopefully soon I will be able to give

100% of my time and I'll be able to upload everyday, cause at the moment you see, I upload

every..Hopefully soon enough I'll get to the point that you get a new video everyday.

It's not easy and it's really time consuming, most of the videos which are around 10 minutes,

can take up to 10 or 11-12 hours, just for editing.

But that's another story..

And as always I'm learning on the go, while I'm doing it, so I hope you understand.

This year I would like to make a lot of collaborations with Calligraphers on Youtube and not only

Calligraphers, but also with cool creators on Youtube, so if you are interested to make

some collaboration, let me know ;) I already have started making some collabs with Calligraphers

on Youtube, which are coming soon and I hope you'll enjoy them.

So this year my goal with Youtube is to reach 1, 000, 000 Subscribers, I know it's a huge

number, it's a lot of work, right now we are at 26K subscribers I think.. something like

that - I know it's a lot of work and a lot of time but I'm willing to do it (and i think

i'm ready to) SO PLEASE GUYS if you want to HELP me REACH MY GOAL, like the videos, comment

- drop your thoughts and questions, subscribe to the channel and HIT the BELL icon to get

notifications for all our new/ latest videos, it really helps a lot guys, also share your

favourite videos on your favourite social medias like Facebook, Twitter, Google+, Reddit

or whatever you are using, if you are asking yourself how to get featured on our Instagram

on Facebook or HERE it's very simple - Just use #CalligraphyMasters & #KeepWriting ( as

comment on pictures and videos) and that's pretty much it, I'm checking every day the

hashtags and if I see something that catches my EYE, something that fits the content of

Calligraphy Masters, I'll FEATURE it, it's no problem ;) Also if you see any interesting

videos that are good for sharing and you want me to check them drop in the comments #CalligraphyMasters

& #KeepWriting and also you can use those hashtags on your own videos (and pictures)

if you want me to check them out or give my opinion or what I think about it, mmm

Few videos ago, in the video ... what was the name...

The first Calligraphy Masters bomber jacket, something like this - it was made by FrakOne,

I forgot to put a picture of me wearing the jacket and some of you commented...I will

show you right now!

Here is the jacket it self, it's not finished yet.

This is like what FrakOne did last time and mmm he used water based paint from some marker,

which is fine for now, but I have to..

I have to double fill this with a better paint which is gonna stay for longer... yeah..

And also here something more will be made , but ... and yeah - this is how the jacket

looks like when you are wearing it and this is @theosone , Mad Cat \/

The jacket was made few weeks ago or a month already - I don't know.

When I was at Acqua su Marte in Milano & the reason was that we shoot a video for our Kickstarter

campaign which is coming very soon.

I hope to launch it this month, but if I don't manage it will be for sure in the next month

beginning.

Not sure yet when - I'm working on it.

There are some more videos may be 1 or 2 videos coming from Milano & from my stay there mmmm...

There are many videos coming up.. review of super cool Italian Ruling Pen - hand HANDWRITMIC

and review of GROG markers, review of ChalkOla markers, review of whatever :D

there is a lot of tools that are waiting reviews, some of them are already done, they are just

being edited, there is so much stuff guys and there is only 24 hours in a day and aaa

sometimes it could be a lot of stuff on my head and since I'm doing most of that stuff

by myself, stuff like this happens, but still I'm really excited for the projects which

are coming up, I can't share everything with you, but AWESOME stuff is coming this year,

expect a lot of videos, EXPECT A LOT OF VIDEOS, working currently on 5 or 6 videos, preparing

some new interviews, I'll re launch the We Are Calligraphy series as there were some

issues with them.

I explained somewhere, I'm not sure where it was either on Facebook or Instagram - don't

remember now...

the scenes of what's going on, also I think is.. will be a cool way for US to communicate

with each other and to talk, to see what you guys are interested in, so... if I can make

it or not and a new way to share what's coming up, cause there is definitely a LOT coming

this year and yeah I think that's it for today guys...I .. aa.. before I close it...

For the last few weeks it's been a bit no videos, no.. not much content and that's because

there is really a lot of work guys, I'm not doing only Calligraphy and videos, I have

also some other clients doing some other jobs, which are nothing to do with Calligraphy and

yeah...

I need more hours, time, TIME...
