Today we're going to be replacing your light socket in your Kenmore range.
You may need to replace your light socket if after replacing your light bulb you notice
the light bulb is still not working in the light socket.
You can purchase an OEM replacement part on our website.
Today you will need a quarter inch nut driver and a flat head screw driver to do the repair.
To start, you're going to need to unscrew these three screws, one here, one on the power cord,
and one over here.
First I'm going to start with the power cord.
Now I'm going to just slide the power cord out
and unhook it.
Now I'll unscrew the last screw, holding this so it does't fall down on you, and this just
slides right off, and you have to be careful with the power cord, just slide it through.
Our light socket is located right here, we're going to unhook these two wires from it.
Now before we push these two tabs in, we're going to undo the light bulb inside the oven.
So we're just going to unscrew the light bulb.
For the light socket you're going to need a flat head screwdriver, and push these tabs
in so we can push the light socket through the oven.
Now you see it's pushed through, now we're going to have to go through the oven and open
the oven door and pull the light socket through.
As you see, the light socket is pushed through, now we're just going to pull it on out.
Now we're just going to get the OEM replacement part and we're going to line it up and push
it on through.
As you hear it snap in, you know the light socket is in place.
Since we're not going to have to come back to the front of the oven, we're going to screw
the light bulb back in right away.
Now we're going to replace the black and the orange wire onto the two prongs, make sure
they're pushed into place.
Now we're just going to put the back panel back on, we're going to feed the wiring through
the little hole for the power cord, and slide it on in.
Make sure the holes are lined up, and start our screw.
Now we're going to get our other screw, and now we're going to get our power cord and
just hook it back in.
Snap it back in, feed it on through.
Once you reattach your power cord, you just need to plug it back in, and you're all set.

On today's show we will make a very simple recipe

STEP 1: MINT MACARONS
115 g egg whites
130 g powdered almonds
35 water
60 g sugar
225 confectioner's sugar
115 g egg whites
0.4 g pistaccio-green food coloring
We will make our mint macaron
a green macaron, and a classic macaron.
so we have the sugar that we will boil
with a small amount of water
We heat it, and we stir well
and leave it to cook
Meanwhile, we have two parts of egg whites
the first one, we will pour in our mixer
and we will whip it
In the meantime we also have
powdered almond flour
and confectioner's sugar
So we are cooking the syrup
we will cook it to 120 degrees
the whipped egg whites
and the "tant pour tant" which is equal parts
of almond flour and confectioner's sugar
well mixed
We will wait until it gets to 120 degrees
As you know, we have two types of food coloring
water based and oil based
This time we will use a water based food coloring
that will disolve well in water, as you know
about 85% of the egg white is water
so it will help our food coloring dissolve, in here
Green logically because it's mint
Once the eggwhites are well whipped
and our syrup to 120 degrees
That's the right time to pour the syrup little by little.

Always add it little by little
Our hand would burn with more than 50 degrees
whenever we touch something hot and burn
it's because it's over 50 degrees.
So everytime we touch it
and it's warm, it means it's at about 35 to 40 degrees
the right temperature to take the meringue out
and incorporate it to the mixture
When we touch it and it feels warm
that will be the right time stop and take it out.
Mix well.
Look at the texture it has
and a nice mint color
We add it to the "tant pour tant"
and we finally add the rest of the egg whites the ones we didn't use before
Now this is the most important moment for a macaron
If we over do it the batter will be too thin, too liquid, too soft
so it won't grow and the macarons will be oddly shapped
If the batter is too thick a print will be left on top part
thats why this is the most important moment, when we make a macaron
we mix well, whithout fear
See now the batter is ready
a soft texture, it is the ideal moment
this is known as "to macaron"
Is to work the batter to add elasticity.
Notice that it has the right consistency now
to make our macaron.
So, now we take a pastry bag
and we put the mixture in it
we take the batter and put it inside

this time we are going to mix them

and we put some of it on top of the macaron
before we bake it
This will add shine and crunchiness to our macaron
Now we let the macaron chill
for about 15 to 20 minutos
and bake it to 140 degrees
for about 12 to 14 minutes

STEP 2: MINT BASED INFUSION
125 g water.
30 g sugar.
28 g mint leaves.

STEP 3: MINT GANACHE
625 g white chocolate
220 g liquid cream
165 g mint juice
40 g glucose syrup
40 g invert sugar

for our natural ganache
Mint syrup, remember it 's a natural juice
infused with sugar and then boiled.
We add the cream
and heat
the invert sugar syrup or honey
If you notice the mint whenever we make a natural infusion
will never have a strong mint color
So, the color of our infused mint
has this color, it's a soft green
its very mild, the flavor that gets to our mouth
and wraps around it, won't be an artificial one that's left in our throat, that's important.
When it starts to boil
we will pour it on the chocolate
once we add the boiled cream
we just have to blend it
and now we will refrigerate it
STEP 4: ASSEMBLY
Well then, we have taken the macarons out of the oven
and we will work on the final presentation
this time like you've seen before
we have selected the best ones we had
some cut canes
we also have the decorative version
the family size that we will place on the table
so everyone can cut a little pieces
with a knife
one that is bolder than the individual one
and the final surprise

our mint ganache
add some of the colored sugar
we mix well
and we put it on a pastry bag.
We leave the pastry bag aside and we will work on the first version.
Remember we also created a wavy shape with the macaron

and a little bit of sugar
to add color

So we have the dessert macaron like cake

Where did the complex code in cells come from? - Duration: 2:22.Ankerberg: And the question you're raising is, where did this complex code come from?
Meyer: Well, right.
And what we've understood since the time of Watson and Crick and the period of the
1950's and 60's which we now refer to as the molecular biological revolution, is
that information is running the show inside living systems.
It's a little bit like what goes on at the Boeing plant up in Seattle where I live, where
the engineers use a technology called CAD-CAM, computer assisted design and manufacturing,
where an engineer will sit at his or her console, write some code for building a particular
part for the airplane at an assembly center, and the code will go down a wire.
It will be translated into another machine code that can be read by the assembly center.
And then, for example, if you're building an airplane wing, the assembly arm may take
the instructions and put the rivets at exactly the right place in accord with the engineer's
instructions.
So you have digital code being written by an engineer directing the construction of
a mechanical part.
And inside cells, what we have is digital information directing the construction not
of airplane wings, but rather of proteins, and proteins, again, are the toolbox.
They're the molecules that do all the important jobs inside cells that keep us alive.
So the recognition that information is running the show inside living systems has also made
us aware that if you want to build a new form of life, like a Cambrian animal, you've
got to have a lot of new information.
Every new Cambrian animal required a bunch of new dedicated cell types.
Each type of cell required dedicated proteins.
Each new type of protein requires in turn new code.
So the Cambrian explosion isn't just an explosion of new forms of animal life, it's
an explosion of information.
And yet, there are really big reasons to doubt that the neo-Darwinian mechanism can generate
that new information.
And in my book Darwin's Doubt, I explain the math as to why it's so incredibly improbable
to think that a random search for new sections of functional genetic texts could produce,
even on the scale of the entire history of life, even one new gene or protein.
