Frank Ocean Connects with Jay Z and Tyler, the Creator on New Song 'Biking' - Duration: 1:46.
Hey guys for Complex News, I'm Natasha Martinez.
Frank Ocean has released new music with Jay Z and Tyler, the Creator.
The usually reclusive artist has been releasing nuggets of new music the past couple of weeks
on his Beats1 show Blonded RADIO.
The last episode featured his new song Chanel, which was looped on repeat for about an hour
and his latest track 'Biking' was released in the same vain.
(roll as b-roll ) Friday night a trailer for the episode dropped, previewing a snippet
of 'Biking' that focused mainly Tyler, the Creator's verse.
Ocean followed up the trailer with an impromptu episode of Blonded RADIO and then shared 'Biking'
in full.
The collaboration did not disappoint, especially after getting the teaser trailer.
There is no doubt 'Biking' will wet listeners appetites for more music from the these three.
As for Jay Z, he's no stranger to being featured on Blonded RADIO.
For Franks inaugural episode, Jay sat down for a short interview about the future of
radio.
Although it was brief Jay and Frank chatted up how advertising is stealing music's purpose
on traditional radio.
"You take these pop stations, they're reaching 18-34 young white females.
So they're playing music based on those tastes.
And then they're taking those numbers and they're going to advertising agencies and
people are paying numbers based on the audience that they have.
So these places are not even based on music.
Their playlist isn't based on music."
In the interview you definitely get a sense of why Jay started Tidal and why Ocean joined
a number of artists that have their own shows on Beats 1.
With Biking, Chanel, and Slide, Franks recent collab with Calvin Harris, Beats1 is proving
to be the perfect platform for Frank to keep his fans updated on what he's working on as
it happens, and not years later like Ocean fans are used to.

Trump pledged to make huge cuts to the food stamps program, currently known as "SNAP"
(Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Plan), which 43 million Americans are leeching off
of.
It costs working American taxpayers $45 billion per year to implement.

Two of the cuts he's making include no longer providing SNAP benefits to sexual predators
or lottery winners.
Suit up, shut up, and get to work.
Hardworking, diligent citizens will no longer serve as your city's Santa Clause.
Donald Trump's efforts to reduce funding for SNAP will serve a purpose, and shows leeches
their behavior will no longer be tolerated.
It's about time the United States had a president who takes pride in it's advantageous
working class.
Trump's changes to welfare benefits will, ultimately, curtail the need for big government-style
social programs.
The temporary nature of welfare benefits is corrupted and violated by the nation's most
languid people.
In Donald Trump's America, you're expected to work for what you have.
The days of depending on your neighbor's paychecks are coming to an end.
Boundaries are being set, and the hard work of decent, persevering people will be protected.
Donald Trump refuses to stand by and allow the middle-class to get ripped off.
Welfare programs don't promote a consumer-driven, profitable society.
They allow people to become comfortable in impoverished purgatory, while the earnings
of full-time workers are assaulted and exploited.
Barack Obama cultivated a nation of entitled crybabies who depend on the government for
a living.
Women are having babies for a source of income, and people are engaging in unlawful conduct
to qualify for welfare.
It needs to be stopped, and stopped quick.
Luckily, they've painted themselves into a corner.
See, these lazy people aren't dumb.
A considerable amount of welfare recipients are sell their food stamps on the street for
cash.
Their failed "entrepreneurial" efforts to profit from drugs, laziness, and their
own benefits are proof positive that they, deep-down, possess a drive to earn and produce.
Trump will harness this drive, rather than dismiss it.
He will undue the preemptive sense of entitlement Barack Obama once nurtured.
"Welfare leech" looks terrible on a resume.
There's no pride in being lazy, liberals.

style of music and helping that
particular style of music come to
fruition in front of a big audience hi
my name is Carmel Dean and I am a
musical director
a musical director Wiz a million
different hats there are many different
facets of the music department that have
to be taken care of as a musical
director um it's my passion to ensure
that the style of music is is going to
be true to whatever the composer wants
and true to the theatrical experience I
have been playing the piano since I was
three years old so it's always been a
part of my life I don't even remember
asking to take piano lessons I didn't
actually get involved in theatre until
11th or 12th grade um I did two musicals
in high school one was the boyfriend
with Heath Ledger coming from the
neighboring boy school and then I got
involved in the amateur theatre scene in
Paris and it just opened up this whole
wide world that I didn't know about and
I fell in love with it in two thousand I
was lucky enough to be awarded a
fulbright scholarship and so I came to
New York University one of the faculty
members down there is william finn and i
went up to him or one of the first days
that i met him and I told him how much I
was a fan and then I would love to work
with him and I can't believe it was as
easy as that but that's basically how I
met bill and started working for him and
he asked me to assist him on elegies his
song cycle at Lincoln Center and pretty
soon after that he started writing
spelling bee and he asked me to do the
vocal arrangements and I was pretty
involved in that entire writing process
and i ended up also being the associate
conductor of the show once it moved to
broadway a good musical director needs
patients needs to have a good ear
obviously there's a lot going on
starting and rehearsals the musical
director works with the singers to teach
them the vocal parts and often they're
you know many different vocal lines
going on
depending on the arrangement I've always
loved working with singers to encourage
and to teach and to help them shine the
way that they have the ability to
there's also the collaboration with the
director the musical supervisor in the
case of American Idiot is Tom KITT who
also did the orchestrations and the
vocal arrangements so we work hand in
hand in in making sure that the music
not only sounds as good as it as it can
but also serves the dramatic requests of
the piece and i'm working with michael
mayer and steven hoggett the
choreographer you know it's one giant
collaboration to make sure that the
stories being told the way they want it
to be told before before we go into
performance so in the rehearsal room
it's it's all about being a vehicle for
Tom KITT his musical intentions so
making sure that the singers know
exactly what they're doing and the band
is playing the correct correct patches
on guitar the different sounds the
keyboard is programmed the way that Tom
wants it to sound and then once the show
opens a big part of my job is
maintaining all of those aspects and
that's what's interesting to the musical
director is one of the only members of
that original creative and production
team from the rehearsal room who then
continue with the show so currently I'll
have a vocal rehearsal every one or two
weeks the beauty of the vocal rehearsal
is they can just stand there and sing
and focus in on what everyone else is
singing and not have to worry about the
choreography and quick costume changes
you know making sure they're ready for
the next cue it's just a chance to get
back to the very basic musical elements
of the show and it's it's actually
tricky to to remember that when they've
got all these other elements that
they're doing at a nightly basis I don't
remember the last show that we've done
where there's been a full cast in we've
had
understudies on we've had cast changes
so every night there's there's a quick
put in rehearsal or just a run through
with these with whoever's going on in
whatever different track they're doing
they may not have done it before so
making sure those people know what
they're doing in you know a 15 minute
window before the show starts and then I
run up to my little dressing room and
throw my costume on and put my makeup on
and put my hair and the little twists
and eight o'clock come down and start
conducting show the band is on-stage in
American Idiot it's so wonderful to have
the band be appreciated and to be
visible there's so many shows the
orchestra is under the state it's so
different to anything I've ever done
because it's you know it's punk rock
genre but it is also theater as a music
director you need to be so well-versed
in and switching gears die elastically
you know a lot of people ask me oh you
know that punk rock conductor and I'm
like well I am right now and i love it
and i love this music to death but i
love a Stephen Sondheim musical you know
more than anything and I you know love
william finn and basically if it's good
music I'm attracted to it the best part
of musical direction is the
collaborative process and working with
so many different artists everybody
brings something different to whatever
piece it is that you constantly you know
being blown away by these amazing people
that you're working with and not only
that you then get to be a part of making
amazing music every night

Today's lecture theme is on "Shiatsu".
Shiatsu is a method that uses your thumb to press muscles. Sometimes you use your elbow as well.
Today we will be going over a particularly effective method using the thumb known as Petrissage.
You may not have heard this before.
Normally when pressing with the thumb it is done in a linear fashion.
When pressing with Petrissage,
while applying normal Shiatsu you use the wrist to make circles using the thumb you're pressing with as an axis.
You turn your wrist while keeping the thumb locked and pressing.
Normally when doing a circular pressing method the thumb tends to move as you turn, however the proper way of doing so is to not move the thumb.
You perform a Shiatsu where you thumb does not move but the wrist moves in a circle.
It is difficult but it is a very effective method.
While pressing with the thumb, don't move it and turn the wrist.
While pressing with the thumb, don't move it and turn the wrist.
I will say it again; don't move the thumb but turn the wrist.
It is difficult but it is a very effective method.
Petrissage is very effective so please try to learn it. See you next time.

Learn Why Infinitus Compensation Plan Attract Top Network Marketing Leaders - Duration: 13:27.
I'm a go ahead and get started, so we can get through it in that way.
What I want to do is, I'm a go through each section.
We got nine different sections of ways to get paid, so I'm a go through each one of
them to make sure we understand, you know, each one of them, and the purpose of them,
and then how do you want to situate your organization, and really the structure behind it, because
this is a lot different than a lot of the ways the other compensation instruction that
you might have seen, you know, work.
So, the first way is retail profit.
So, that structure is there at twenty-five percent also, in the first one on the startup,
I would put that in the category of number one.
It would be that twenty percent fast start.
Well, we'll call it fast start.
So, any time that you refer a person and they buy a package, you will get twenty percent,
and that's only on the package.
That wouldn't be on the thirty-dollar package, that would just be whatever package that they
have, or if they have any more coming in the future, you'll get twenty percent of that.
So, what's a good thing about that is, and later on we'll discuss, you know, the structure,
but that twenty percent will actually benefit all of us the way that that structure will
run, and I'll talk about that as we move, you know, further down.
Just say, for instance, like we did today, Derek signed up today, and he fell under Yaseen,
and Yaseen is somebody who I brought in, but what's so beautiful about that structure,
is you have Garnett that's at the top, and with Garnett then at the top, the reason I
wanted to put Derek there is because Garnett brought in Tim, and Tim is right under Garnett.
Tim brought in George, and George is direct under that same line.
George brought in me, which, we all fall in that same line, and then I brought Yaseen,
Yaseen is right in that same line, and then Derek fall in that line.
Now, why that is so big is because it's a 'one line'.
That means that everybody in that line will benefit from the volume in that line.
So, looking at that structure, as you go down it's like everybody will help that line get
bigger, and bigger, and bigger, meaning that when you're looking at the compensation structure,
one leg can generate you income.
So, in this case, Garnett is going to be at the top, so this is why Garnett is doing what
he's doing to, you know, put pages, and give us, you know, different things to market,
and a Facebook page and all of that, is because he's being rewarded for that.
So, we want to make sure - at least, I want to make sure that he's incorporated into all
of that as well.
Now, when it trickles down, say Tim, well if Garnett brings three other people, well,
two other people, because he's going to need two other people, and we're going to discuss
that, in order for him to really max out - not max out the comp plan, but to get the leadership
bonus, which is one of the things that I heard that's really driving a lot of people, is
the leadership bonus.
So, we're going to talk about what it's going to take to actually get that.
On the second way to get paid - and if anybody have any questions, you know, you can ask
while I'm discussing it, just so you make sure you understand the whole process.
On the second way is what they call the basic sales bonus, and another word for that is
'personal group value'.
Number three is an addition to number two, and number three is extra sales bonus, which,
in other words, is the extra pay of your group.
So, that's extended.
So, anything over ten thousand now falls under the extra sales bonus, which, you'll get twelve
point five percent on that.
So, one the fourth one, in this fourth one, this fourth one might have confused, you know,
people to think that they could run one leg all the way down and be qualified for the
leadership bonus.
That's not true.
Number four is the performance bonus - the performance bonus, which is an organization
value.
That's the group sales on your whole organization.
That can run all the way down, and there's no requirements for that.
So, number four, performance bonus, you're actually getting paid on your whole organization,
and there is no requirement to get paid on the performance bonus.
Now, the performance bonus would be separate from any of the other ones down below, the
leadership bonus and all of them.
So, performance bonus pays you once you hit ten thousand, it'll pay you one point two
five percent.
So, if you build an organization, and it goes up to six percent.
So, in other words, the most that you can make is six percent on your organization.
So, you can build one leg, and it can run, it can run, and it can run, and it can run.
If you got four million volume where you tap it out, four million five hundred in volume,
you can tap that out, and that's six percent.
And that's the most that you could make in the performance bonus, is six percent on that.

And that bonus is paid out monthly.
Number seven, you can qualify for the excellent bonus at the point three zero percent, and
then the brilliant, I didn't get the legs on that, I didn't get a chance to actually
finish that, but that's a bonus of point two percent, and then the outstanding achievement
bonus is point one percent, and that, in a nutshell, that's the comp plan and how you
want to - and we can discuss how we want to structure that, or, you know, if you understand
it, then you can kind of design and structure it how you feel will benefit you.
This structure here, this comp plan structure, is different than what the industry is used
to.
Have you done any kind of math based on the, what is it, the stable growth bonus of that

Now, the company, looking at the numbers on this, the company's set aside roughly - which
is some crazy numbers - the company's set aside - I did a calculation - roughly - now,
as far as comp plan wise, they got about seventy-four percent that's being paid out.
Yeah, because when you look at the comp plan, just say for instance, twenty-five percent
on the sales, then a basic sale bonus you get at ten percent, and then on the extra
bonus that's twelve point five percent, and then on the performance bonus is six percent,
and then the - Leadership bonus?
Yeah, leadership bonus is ten point five percent, and the market bonus breaks down into point
five, point three, point two, five, one point one percent.
So, you know, you add that up, it's ten, eleven, six, eight, ten, one, two, three, four, four,
and then but twenty-five on that, that's sixty point one.
I think I got all of them in there.
So ten, ten point five, because I only wrote down one, two, three, four - no, I missed
one.
So, six percent, ten point five.
I think I got them, and then twenty-five percent.
Yeah.
