Waching daily Mar 29 2017

well guys great to see you again i'm so glad you came back

Jurassic World - The Game Dinosaurs Ludia Episode 33 HD

soros so I this guy is pretty formidable off

I've got him up to level 30 and I mean that guy is really good for an axe

so he is awesome and AH just recently uh you'll see

probably later this week i upgraded my are pterodactyl actually was in turn

after turn it on your pterodactyl hurt around it on i upgraded that so I mean

he's gonna be up to level 20 and i just bought a t-rex is still got a couple

more days of that that he will be at level 20

so it's gonna be interesting guys I'm probably not going to be recording all

that many more of these videos i mean they have not been very popular so I

mean if you do like these videos make sure you leave me comments in the

section down below that you want to see me keep making them and also like what

changes you would like to see I mean I am like i said in the last video i am in

a tournament right now for the tryna from Mara I got up to number one from

the top 10% so I moved up to the top 5% over there I'm like way down so i did

not know it goes up to the top 5% top one

so I mean I don't have anywhere close and i knows i need to eat there so I

mean I will keep competing and next week i'll be releasing videos on those I mean

there was something also battles but after their i'm probably gonna have to

take a break from this like I said I mean they have not been getting very

good views so I'm gonna have to concentrate on my main channel off my

videos which are the toys

oh ok well i mean i had a great time making these leave you guys end of eat

some epic battles here i got the funding source for us tickets Aaron cops

we're guide not have a chance

I mean absolutely not here he attacked before got like half mr. and so here I'm

just gonna attack of eight get it over with

put him out of his suffering i love with this guy charges finalists also charges

ok sweet victory received a super-rare path also by 40 DNA

ok so i completed all those and also the storyline i mean i i've hit a wall right

now I'm still trying to build up my dinosaurs because at level 39 they

require you to have aa 60 dinosaurs and i've only got $MONEY i think 35 so i

could buy a bunch of low-level ones but i don't know i think i've probably

rather with them in tournaments and other card packs and stuff and I like i

said before many times don't forget to open your secret card packs every six

hours so those help you a lot so I mean I after next week i'll probably be doing

that for a while just logging in opening card packs you know winning some

tournaments and but i'm not i'm not sure if I'm gonna be are releasing any more

of these

like I said it's just not getting the views i thought they would and you know

it is an older game

I mean I couldn't get this to work on my computer to about two months ago and I

mean the game release what was it like over a year ago so it's not as popular

as it was ok so here might tear down against the pic dios daga feel stata so

it looks like my tara Don's gonna shred him BAM he's out okay

to moving on Giganotosaurus because awesome-looking is not too powerful but

he is awesome

ok here is my spinal against here my attack is a ball twice is so far i have

my spinal here then i'll have my Stegosaurus to get there are turned on

so

oh ok they brought men they brought their turn on it

ok so maybe I'll bring my steak oh and now this guy taste of his own medicine

ok he blocked for but I should be enough to yep take them out also cool

ok now they brought the gigantosaurus back so this guy tax which you will

ok so he shreds me he's got 33 left which you probably put into blocking so

at this point I don't really want to attack him i want to build off my

reserve so I took a chance by building up my reserved for and so even if he

attacks even if you would have attacked for I mean he wouldn't have got me so

I'm not six now this point I'm just gonna try attacking him okay

he blocked to that should be enough more than ok 1600 damage

BAM he's down okay awesome

I was cool and remove it on a lock the gigantosaurus is gonna have to hatch

that guy who looks awesome

I've got three guys

catchy right now okay mission complete complete battle stage 30 deny it

sweet see right there 60 or more dinosaurs haha 27 i'm only up to 35 now

so okay here's the tournament was talking about these are some of my

earlier battles this is the the tournament for the tryna Romero so off

I'm gonna keep doing that tournament at and oh let me see

that's gonna end on the thirtieth of may so I'll keep doing that tournament our

release those to you guys because like i said i am in the i am number one in the

top 10% currently and I move past that into the five percent but I mean I don't

have it in me and I mean the guys in the one-percent they've got dinosaurs that

away stronger than the Dominus

ah ok so let's see the circus circus piyo raptor ok so they brought in her

before here sobbing that tournament

it really gives you some awesome battle so I mean if you got halfway decent

dinosaurs and you do play the game

go ahead and enter that tournament i mean it's it's really a lot of strategy

because I mean I I be guys that have outclassed me about double 21 but

they're scared to attack so they keep building up i keep building my reserve

up to but sometimes you gotta block that sometimes if you got for you gotta build

your reserve up for

and hope they don't attack so in many ways it's a lot like poker haha ok so

here I want another battle so here this is the top 10% i was telling you here

i'm at 34 I got up to number one twice and now I'm past that Eminem five

percent which gives you a much better wheel to are you can get much better DNA

i actually got like a hundred sixty DNA on a roll so that that was really nice

ok so here let's see

well here I just hatched my cake deal

stiga pickiest eiga maybe the flaw in the comments section how you pronounce

that

ok ok so here I'm still expanding my Park currently i did get up to level 41

because of my Park expansions they pushed me over the level 40 so one set

once i could get past that 60 dinosaur thing i could probably level off pretty

quick because I've already beat several of the tournament several of the battles

that I have to

so here as you can see number one is Joanna there but that was a lie

sooo let's continue on that attacked me one

come on my metro Don so off classes and it's not even claudian he went ahead and

attack me right away about you know I i like i like guys that do that because

they're much more predictable you know they're probably good attack and waste

their full attack here i'm going to go ahead and take down to sega soros like

pretty easily because I mean all he did was attack not hold up his reserve so

his final will take me down while my fish guy should be pretty good get him

see I mean he's just attacked a pack of it is not building up the reserve which

is not what you want to do

so here I got attack up five I believe he's all the way open so i'm just gonna

go ahead yes see I mean he didn't defend him build up his reserve for nothing so

bam i took down this final very easily and then are all we got left is a

herbivore which my blossom after all make short work of like I said that I

mean there's this business of disappointing battled one it's been a

fun run i mean this is game is very addictive so bam i just took them all

just like that super easy so I mean when you got herb or against a carnivore it's

not much there so here I just moved into 19 so these are my first battle so it's

kind of and I got lucky here I got a mystery pack usually you don't get packs

usually on those roles you get meat or coins which both of our pretty worthless

to me at this point

ok so moving on and guys this last battle our i forgot to start my

recording software so you just see the end here and I would mean I was like

really out last on this one too

well like i said its strategy and guys that bring us pretty close to the end of

this episode make sure you guys click like I mean I really need your likes and

I mean I had a great time making these with you guys and if you wait till the

video ends also men cart see here overnight

i went from like 15 281 so you drop pretty quickly

Flight Club: Drones and the Dawn of Personal Aerial Imaging | Lynda.com from LinkedIn - Duration: 23:51.

(bright music)

- I've always been into cutting edge technology

and things of that nature my entire life,

as a child I'd take apart my grandmas radio

and fix it for her.

So naturally, when I found out about this drone stuff

I was all in.

(bright music)

- When the first Phantom 1 came out

and we put the GoPro camera on it,

I put it in time lapse mode and I was flying around,

and every few seconds the camera would take a shot,

and I was so fascinated by seeing my surrounding

from 30, 50 or even 100 feet up,

and everything looked so different.

(bright music)

- Once I got in the air I realized that I could go

and visualize things like I'd never seen them before.

(bright music)

- One of the first shots that I was really stoked on,

it was a 10 foot slider move, I was just floating the drone

and I just moved 10 feet to the right, it was so simple.

Just that ease of being able to get shots with one piece

of gear, that would have in the past taken a helicopter

or a crane or a slider, it just was so cool

to be able to get that.

(bright music)

- It's a photo of my friend Randy in a kayak

with a whale not far from him, and that was the first photo

that I saw where I knew that I had to start flying drones.

(bright music)

- We're in the midst of a technological explosion

and a revolution that is all being facilitated by the fact

that we can have sophisticated cameras aloft.

(bright music)

It's just a beautiful view from up there.

- It's funny because there are actually, I mean there are

a whole bunch of little groups here and we all overlap.

This particular group of people, I mean they just gathered

around the love of aerial imagery.

(bright music)

- This all came about, it was just a fluke,

I got into photography first, I actually am a,

by day trade right now I'm a jewellery designer,

I own a jewellery company and it was a startup

that I created in my garage almost 24 years ago.

You know one day I get a call from Century Helicopter

in San Jose, they said "Hey, we got this new helicopter,

"we know you're good at shooting hummingbirds,

"can you come take a picture of this?"

And I said, naturally, "Yes."

And somebody puts a little quadcopter up in the air,

and I'm like "Oh my god, that's the coolest thing ever,

"can I try?"

And you know they said "Yeah."

And I did, and I said "Where can I get one of these?"

And I went out to Century Helicopter and bought

the first edition of DJI's Phantom series.

And I didn't know anything about these things,

this is a whole new view to me.

Paul Pan who was working at Century Helicopter at the time

says "You gotta meet Mark Johnson."

- It's hard to believe it's such a short period of time

but I was beginning to explore this technology,

both from a professional and a personal standpoint.

I was doing a lot of customization of my rigs

and as a result, people that would have questions,

they would say "Call Mark or call Barry."

And eventually one day they said "Hey, you guys

"need to hookup together."

Because we were sort of the kind of local go to sources.

At about the same time I had brought

my best friend Romeo Durscher into the mix

because he used to fly RC jets, so he and I actually

cobbled together our first FPV system, and that started

everything from the two of us just building

on that technology.

(bright music)

- We had already been testing a variety

of different products, but back then they were not

as reliable, they were not as easy to use,

it was really trial and error in essence.

We both then got into the Phantom 1, and we both loved

what we could do, and just through that we started meeting

other people, I remember one time we went

to our local dealer in San Jose an we got introduced

to Barry, and then we also met Russell Brown.

- My first experience with a drone, wasn't exactly

with a drone but it was with a photograph I saw on Facebook.

I clearly remember seeing some early photographs show up,

which appeared to be like standard helicopter shots,

but this seemed to be like 100 feet off the ground

and in tight quarters, and I started to question

just how the heck was this done because it seemed in a zone

where you could not go in a helicopter.

- So now we have Barry, Romeo and Doc I call him, Brown,

and we began comparing notes, flying together,

one thing led to another and we ended up creating a group

that we just informally called Flight Club.

- Yeah, let's do this.

(bright music)

- If it means I get to go to Africa...

- [Romeo] The group naturally became bigger and bigger,

and it was really a lot of fun because we all had no idea

about the technology and we all learned from each other.

We learned from Russell a lot about aerial photography

and videography and Mark was very much on the technical side

so he would tinker with something until he figured out

how it works, and then Barry, he has a lot of knowledge

in surroundings, like where to go and fly,

he knows all the people, he did some

really great introductions to people.

So we all brought a little bit of

a different component to the table.

(bright music)

- [Aaron] It made flying like a fun activity,

where I would go with them, I'd be inspired

to try new things or try a new piece of gear.

(bright music)

(blades rotating)

- And now here we are a couple of years later

and several of us either work for DJI or are affiliated

with them, or those of us like myself have just continued

to expand the use of the technology.

(bright music)

- This is the very first one and it hasn't flown

in quite some time.

(blades rotating)

God, it has almost no power.

Before I joined DJI, I worked on a NASA space mission

for almost 13 years and that had always been

a childhood dream of mine.

And as part of my job, I was doing education

and public outreach, going not only into classrooms,

or to science fairs, or to conferences,

but to also via social media, spread the excitement

of science technology, engineering, and math.

Now one thing that was always missing was the A for arts,

STEAM in essence, and I really believe that STEAM,

the artistic side of students and kids

needs to be catered to as well.

That's one of the beautiful things now about DJI

because I can incorporate the A for arts

into my educational plan because some of the things that

we're seeing done with our platforms is truly art.

(bright music)

- The videos that I had seen were all

pretty rudimentary as far as the cinematography side.

Like if it was a 10 minute flight, the video was 10 minutes,

it was takeoff, this is me flying around, and landing,

and there was no sort of editing or taking the best of.

(western country music)

- So it's the early Wild West days of aerial photography

and we're thinking to ourselves, what's the coolest place

we can go and see it from the sky?

- [Aaron] The first flight we did was Russell and I went out

to Arches National Monument, which was kind of (laughs)

and definitely you can't do that anymore.

- And so we walk in there, it must have been four a.m.

in the morning, Aaron flies through the arch,

two and a half years ago when it was legal (laughs).

- I edited it together and I sent Russell the video.

He immediately knew it was awesome, but we had

some questions of whether or not

we should actually post it (laughs).

- Should we post it, Do you think we should post it,

Should we not, yes, no, yes, no, (laughs).

It was early, must have been at six a.m.

- But he said to go for it and I said okay.

So we posted it, but at the end we said thanks

to the National Parks Service,

you know, as kind of like a tribute to them.

(bright music)

- Also during the Wild West days,

we headed off to Bodie, California, a ghost town.

We actually paid them for the right to fly.

But they said, "You need to fly only when

"there's no people there."

And that was actually perfect for us because they close

at six in the evening, the sun's setting,

golden light coming across the town, and we get to fly.

(bright music)

- That was the biggest comment I got about that video

is "I've never seen Bodie empty."

You know, it's always so many people.

The approach from the beginning was to try and have

a beginning, middle and end to the videos, like a story

or a subject, like Bodie was this ghost town

where Utah was of national parks.

(bright music)

If you're getting into flying, I would say to fly

with other people and other styles of flying.

Like for me, I never really do photography,

aerial photography, that's all Russell does.

So when we go out and fly, he'll do the stills

and I'll do video, we both pull away different things.

(engine revving) (bright upbeat music)

- The best advice that I ever got for any beginner fliers

is fly conservatively, take your time, learn how to fly

the drone first and then worry about your photos

because flying and photography

are two totally different things.

So once you learn how to fly and you're not thinking

about what your hands or your thumbs are doing,

it becomes very simple.

(bright music)

Before I started working for DJI,

I was a housewife for 10 years.

I'd just gotten into photography a couple of years

before that, but only as a hobby.

I took a whale watching tour and it's when

I first experienced the humpback whales in Hawaii.

From that moment, I knew that I wanted

to start taking photography more seriously.

(bright music)

I guess it goes back to a Photoshop World Conference

that I attended and Russell Brown was teaching

an aerial photography class.

He had a whole bunch of sort of expert fliers there

at the time and that were not only teaching photography,

but also how to fly drones.

(bright music)

Now I started with a Phantom 1, there was

no gimbal attached, I just had my little sports camera

on an extension arm and some Moongel,

so there was tons of vibration,

I just set it to take a picture every two seconds,

there really wasn't any composing,

I just had that really wide angle lens

and I was just throwing it up and hoping for the best.

(bright music) (blades rotating)

- So you know, a drone has inertial measurement units

that basically tell us what angle the drone is sitting at

and you know, how it's moving, the acceleration

in various axes, in three axes.

And the gimbal is basically the same thing,

so there's something that measures position and acceleration

where the camera is, and then three motors wrap

that camera platform and in real time, counteract

any movements around it.

So you'll see the camera's staying completely level

and very stable, even if the drone is doing something

like shaking when it's fighting wind, you know,

at the limits of its movement.

So gimbals, in addition to drones, that combination

basically has created this kind of revolution

that we're in now.

(bright upbeat music) (blades rotating)

That's a lot of them in the air, I think I need to get away

from more people, we have, how many are in the air?

Six or seven, yeah it's pretty cool.

My background is actually both in technology

and also in photography and publishing.

So I started off as a software engineer and after

a few years, I don't know, I felt like something was missing

in my life and I ended up taking a break,

which led me into the ocean.

(bright music)

I very quickly became an underwater photographer,

both as a profession and also as a passion.

(bright music)

Spending most of my time in the water, I was getting used

to moving really in three dimensions.

I realized that I had started to look at camera movements

not only kind of in the plane that we're on here

on the ground, but kind of moving over objects because,

you know, as divers in the ocean we do get

to move freely in three dimensions.

So I started trying to get these aerial perspectives

on land, well above land, as well and having

a really hard time trying to get

these establishing shots usually.

Really when multirotors hit, you know

these quadcopter designs.

These platforms started to become very stable

and you could attach cameras and be pretty sure

that they weren't going to fall out of the sky

or you know, I was going to be able to control it

in a safe way.

(bright upbeat music)

(blades rotating)

- My company is called Visual Law Group, we specialize

in forensic visualization, basically we work for lawyers

or companies, anybody involved in either civil

or criminal cases that needs a story told, and as a result

of that, we end up producing recreated traffic collisions,

airplane crashes, railroad disasters.

Since we're presenting that visually, you can imagine

that aerial views were necessary from the beginning.

But back in the early 90s, your options were pretty limited,

you had to either commission a fixed wing plane,

or at even greater expense, a helicopter

to go shoot custom aerials.

It was not until gee, very very late in the game

when the company DJI first came out with

the real commercially available at a reasonable price gimbal

that would stabilize the camera and that meant

we could shoot low altitude, high resolution video

and in a company like mine, that's the golden ticket.

But the final peg in the puzzle for us was the ability

to generate three dimensional models

with photogrammetric processing.

So with sophisticated software and processing,

I mentioned the Pix4D program that we use,

it uses artificial computer vision to study every image

and it identifies high contrast points and whenever

it finds the same point in more than three photographs,

it pegs it and locates it.

So it can very precisely create a map, which is a planar

or a survey type image that you can actually put a ruler to.

So we're not shooting aerial images,

we're actually capturing aerial data that is then translated

into very precise spacial points so that when

you're finished, you've got the whole area mapped

both visually and then also three dimensionally.

You can pull up the topography, the actual ground surface,

and you can see where water flows, you can actually see

the extent to which erosion has taken place

and you can use the same technology to map disease patterns,

if the software's calibrated to calculate and measure

the areas that are blighted.

So it's a really revolutionary tool

that's becoming accepted in a lot of fields.

(bright upbeat music)

- So I truly believe we have only scratched the surface

of the iceberg, this technology has quickly evolved

from just your very basic quadcopter to already

a very sophisticated machine and we want to educate

the new customer or the potential customer

not only about our product, but what are the laws

and regulations and what are the expectations.

When we use the word drone, the majority of people already

have a bad feeling about the term drone, mostly stemming

because of military applications with the technology.

Now it's up to us to showcase the positive influences

this technology has had and will have in the future.

Lastly, my big goal is to get the technology

into the classrooms so students can not only put together

the hardware, but also do software coding and through that

can learn and get motivated and inspired

to take this technology to new heights.

(bright upbeat music)

- Go.

It's a new product that Zeiss has been working on

called Cloud Live, there, so now we got a live view

and you see it's like a stereoscopic old school

view projectors and inside of here, I got that,

so when I put it all together, I've got almost a 3D image,

except I have the ability to when I turn this it turns

the copter's gimbal.

- Oh right.

- Got the panning.

- That is amazing.

- I'm loosing signal, are you?

- I got it, but it's choppy.

- [Bryan] Did you see how nice that is?

- [Aaron] Yeah.

- [Bryan] Very little practice needed, you know.

(bright upbeat music)

- Dude, it's just crazy.

- Yeah, it works that good.

- Holy. Ha!

This is actually amazing.

- Yeah, it's really great technology.

- This is like having an Oculus on your head.

(bright upbeat music)

- It's strange, any photograph you took from the sky

two and a half years ago with one of these copters

and a GoPro, like wow, that's the most amazing photograph

and it's just somebody's garbage can

and you're looking straight down on it, you know,

it was the truth, it was really, really interesting

and even Romeo Durscher and I have been chatting about this,

we got to go to the next level, it cannot be

just the garbage can next door, we're really trying

to take really great photographs from the sky

instead of just a photograph from the sky.

(upbeat electronic music)

- There you go.

Okay, batteries, copter, hold that, controller, iPhone,

and I am ready to go.

(upbeat electronic music)

I'm going to light this rock with this light

that's suspending below this quadcopter

while my camera is taking a long exposure.

I am going to take off, Aaron, are you ready for this?

Gentlemen, here we go, I'm going out to sea.

Aaron, I'm going to hover here so we can start our exposure.

- [Aaron] Here we go, oh wow.

What is, I think we need to bathe some more of this--

- [Russell] I think so too,

I'm going to bathe more light over here.

What's that?

- [Aaron] Wait just a second.

- Just a second.

I'm going to stay at that same height,

but just move around.

(upbeat electronic music)

- [Aaron] Well it looks bad ass.

- It looks bad ass?

- [Aaron] Yeah, check it out.

- [Russell] Yes, that's bad ass.

eggs just the eggs themselves are

awesome they're good quality eggs I

really like it and they're like black

and yellow so if you are go ahead and

open it up it is a regular Lego set well

okay blocks they call them but they are

identical to lego pretty much the only

difference between this and Lego is they

don't say Lego on every one of those

little knobs that stick out and then it

comes with instructions on how to put it

together which

well his destruction seemed pretty

simplistic hopefully I'll be all right

leghul does a much better job with their

directions blah ah ok I guess it'll be

all right so uh that is one of them

let's check out the other ones ok let's

check out another one

so here is instructions on this one once

again not as simple as Legos

instructions but you know you're talking

70 some pieces so it's not too bad okay

let's check out the last one which was

the peonies tropheus so these are are

inexpensive sets that you could buy from

China I actually got these on ebay and

the shift directly from China so you

have to wait a while I mean I waited

probably bought two to three weeks to

get these sets and then here are the

instructions on this one so a lot of the

instructions they seem pretty much the

same so there we go cool okay let me

know which one of these three is your

favor ok guys so here is the tannest

rufius and guys I can't really recommend

these guys to you guys first of all the

instructions are not all that great and

second of all ah one of this the third

set the pair of cephalus horas I

couldn't even put that together because

it was missing pieces and then this

other one here I had a broken piece I

have to superglue here so you know I out

of to set out of three sets two of them

had like broken or missing pieces so I

can't really recommend these sets I mean

they looked really cool at the beginning

I really like them but I I mean that's

it I mean I can't really recommend these

aw they are kind of cheaply put together

I mean these are definitely not Lego ah

sometimes when you move it here on the

joints I mean the headpieces just pop

off leg pieces pop off so like I said I

mean I really do apologize but I can't

really recommend these to you guys I

mean they look cool it if they would

come together this one came together all

right so this one had no broken pieces

the other one was missing pieces and

broken so and then this one here this

one here to looks kind of cool all this

is the Tyrannosaurus Rex so the t-rex

well like I said with the broken pieces

I can't recommend these sets guys ah i

reviewed a really cool lego t-rex set if

you want to check that out oh that's in

my lego playlist which you'll find at

the end of this video but now with this

guy too when you move it i mean these

pieces like pop off and so this is more

if i guess if you can't afford a regular

lego set but know that other t really

cool t-rex one which you could build

three dinosaurs that one is fifteen

dollars so i mean like i said i mean i

have a really hard time recommending

these because of the quality issues so

here they are next to some are much

better more better quality lego ones aww

i wrote i apologize to on I can't really

do stop-motion video either besides the

bill because these things just fall

apart and they're way too hard to work

with so uh let's go ahead so you guys

seen this guy here you've seen the t-rex

here this is the Lego t-rex I was

recommending this one I got for fifteen

dollars ah you could check that one out

on amazon I'll actually include that one

in the link below the video because like

I said I can't really recommend these

egg ones so I'm not even going to

include a link for them so if you are

interested in those you could buy those

on

ebay but anyways here is another awesome

lego 1 i've done a full review and

unboxing on before this one the head

moves the eyes light up if you push the

button a little hard to see because i

got bright lights but you could still

see it there so the arms move the leg

Moo's clicked into different positions

so this is an original older vintage

lego one so that one is awesome and then

of course you guys seen the indominus

rex this is the original and then the

other one you see there the mirror image

is the knockoff you can see the knockoff

all they have brighter colors for the

knock off the original has lighter

colors and you could identify it by

looking at each of these blocks say lego

on the originals and then the same for

the t-rex's this here is the original

t-rex and then this here is the knockoff

t-rex so once again the knockoff t-rex

has much brighter colors than the

original I like the original more I mean

I don't I don't really care for the

those bright colors that much it's a lot

brighter and shinier but I don't care

that much for then then this one has the

Lego imprints on each of the blocks

there so I guys thanks for viewing and I

really do apologize I couldn't put

together the third set because pieces

were missing but i mean i would like to

let you guys know i mean i wouldn't even

bother with those egg ones i mean the

quality issues it is just not worth it

well guys thanks reviewing and being

awesome wow that was a lot of fun and if

[Merilee Nixon:] Hi!

I'm Merilee, and I'm from North Carolina.

I'm doing my daily stretches, BUT you're watching what Michael's doing

right now.

Cue the whirring mechanism!

[ Mechanism whirring ]

[Michael Aranda:] Toddly?

[Todd Williams:] (chuckling) Yes?

[Michael:] Where are we going today?

[Todd:] We are going to a meeting, eh...for, uh…

a local company who wants to potentially do some video work with us.

And a— And another person who potentially wants

to do some other video work with us.

That's what we're doing.

[Michael:] What does this company sell?

[Todd:] So they're a— they're a monthly box company?

I don't know what you would... call that.

A subscription box company.

They're called Quilty.

And, they...have quilt things every month.

So they want some promo videos.

[Michael:] Yep.

[Todd:] I'm guessing.

That's what we're gonna find out.

Should be exciting.

We're going to their warehouse.

So we should see a bunch of (said with a twang) quilt things.

[Todd:] Do you like quilt things?

[Michael:] I've never tried quilting, so I don't know.

[Todd:] Maybe it's a new hobby you'll be able to pick up.

[Michael:] It feels a little bit like winter poked it's head up

again for a sec and was like "Hey!

I'm still here!"

[Todd:] It was a little disappointing… to say—

when I woke up this morning and my car was covered in snow.

I wasn't happy about that.

You could see— it's starting to melt a bit.

But I would like it to be melted all of the way.

[Michael:] Okay, we're here at Quilty Box.

I don't know if they want us filming inside, so I'm just going to say I'll probably

see you afterwards.

[ Dance music ]

[Michael:] Well that was interesting.

This is a Quilty Box.

This is what they send out every month.

I can't open it.

They have a little thing showcasing an artist of the month,

and then they have quilting supplies inside.

[Todd:] I think it allows for...folks to get creative.

When you have surprise things come in the mail

you don't know what you're gonna do so a lot of people probably get a little stuck

sometimes

thinking, "I don't know what I wanna make".

Then this pops up, it can give you some fresh ideas of what you wanna do.

[Michael:] Yeah.

They are a bigger operation than I.. expected.

It's just so weird sometimes what you find out

is in your own backyard.

[Todd:] I would never have guessed they were here—

[Michael:] Yeah. [Todd:] until they reached out to us.

[Michael:] They've got a big warehouse,

tons of boxes stacked up.

He says that they send out over 2,000 of these boxes a month.

[Todd:] So, I'm sure it's just growing.

[Michael:] Yeah.

[Todd:] Excitin' stuff!

[Michael:] And hopefully...with us,

we'll help them grow even more.

[Todd:] (Southern accent) Do you like to quilt?

Quilty Box!

[Michael:] Maybe we should just have you host the videos.

[Todd:] Quilty Box!

That's it, that's all I say?

[ Dance music ]

[Michael:] We are having our weekly…

Synema Studios meeting with these lovely people.

We were just talking about how we would like to highlight

creative things that people in the community are doing.

If you're doing a cool thing or if you know of someone doing a cool thing

who's a part of this community you should probably let us know.

I guess, is there an email address that people should send stuff to

or just leave it in the comments?

Or what?

[Todd:] For right now, if you wanna send it to hello@synemastudios.com

with uh… "Doing Cool Stuff!" in the uh...title there.

[Kayla Pyne laughs] [Michael:] Okay.

[Michael:] Ceri why are you still here?

[Ceri Riley:] I'm editing...scripts.

[Michael:] You have an orange peel or some kind of peel.

[Ceri:] It is an orange peel.

[Michael:] Do you wanna buy a house?

[Ceri:] That's what I've been trying to do for a little while.

[Michael:] I don't know that the vlog has been updated on this situation.

[Ceri:] I don't think so.

I haven't talked about it to the vlog.

[Michael:] Ceri and I are trying to buy a house.

One of the Patreon livestreams that we did.

I think it was the one for Jaaanuuuary?

You were out of town, and we went back to one of the houses to look at it while you

were out of town.

Was that— [Ceri:] That was probably February

because I was at NerdCon for 10 days.

[Michael:] I was at NerdCon.

Oh but you went early— [Ceri:] I went early—

[Michael:] You, oh—that's right.

So in February, we livestreamed while walking through

one of the houses that we were looking at.

So if you are a Patreon Patron, you maybe knew this already.

I just talked to Cindy our realtor about our maybe plan to put another offer down

on what we're calling WoodHouse.

She says that, she already has all the paperwork stuff

we signed a thing already that she can act on our behalf.

If we want to, all we have to do is say, "Yes, please make another offer at this

amount".

And she'll do that tomorrow.

Should I tell her to make another offer?

[Ceri:] Uhhmm…

I don't know (laughs).

[Michael:] Just because money amounts are weird.

I'm gonna have the dollar amounts that I'm about to say bleeped out of this

video.

[Ceri:] Okay.

[Michael:] Uhm…

[Ceri:] That makes me more comfortable.

[Michael:] Okay. [Ceri and Michael laugh]

Our initial offer was super low

and then they counter at [ Super Mario Bros Coin ]

I told her that the math that I've been doing

to calculate the monthly expenses if we were to put another offer was at

[ Super Mario Bros Coin ]

and she suggested offering [ Super Mario Bros Coin ]

Hoping that they will counter at [ Super Mario Bros Coin ]

Buying houses is—is very bizarre business.

[Ceri:] It's very stressful, uh... because it's owning a big thing;

and spending a lot of money on this big thing.

The permanence does not scare me as much anymore, because people buy and sell real estate all

the time.

[Michael:] Today Ceri and Nicole and Hank and I

are shooting a....

Holy F****** Science.

I was about to say what it was about, but I can't do that yet because it's supposed

to be

a surprise for Ceri and for the other people.

Lookit...Ceri's got two computers going on.

She's in hacking mode.

[Ceri:] Yes...So I can do one… one hand on each one.

[Michael:] Why actually do you have two computers out?

[Ceri:] I started researching my Holy F****** Science topic

on this one, and I didn't want to transfer tabs.

This is for work, and this is for social spaces.

[Michael:] Hey, what's all that for?

[Ceri:] (feigning confusion) Ohmygosh, I don't know!

[ Dance music ]

[Michael:] We just finished filming Holy F****** Science.

I think it was maybe one of our best ones yet.

I just really enjoyed the conversation.

I'm about to hit the render button

on the next vlog that's going live.

This one is from the 28th and 29th of December 2016.

And then THAT means that there's only one video left

which covers the 30th and 31st of December

in Season Six to go live.

After that, the next video to go up will be

from February twenty-something.

So we're about to catch up quite a bit.

Kelsey…?

How often do the things that I do, in the process of filming vlogs embarrass

you?

[Kelsey Cote:] Like out in public?

[Michael:] Yeah…

[Kelsey:] At first I was like…

"Oh, I'm hanging out with a man who's pointing

a camera at everything and everyone's looking."

But now it's kind of just whatever.

Like I mean there's still times when I notice people looking

and they have confused looks, but…

[Michael:] Tonight...may…

[Kelsey:] No...NO…(laughs)

[Michael:] may test your, uh… your willpower.

(chuckles) [Kelsey:] (sob-laughing) I can't look.

[Michael:] Okay, hello.

As you can tell from my very professional appearance,

I am an expert and should be trusted with all things.

Today I am going to test out something that I've

wanted to do since the Switch was announced; And that is: see how realistic it is to jog

while playing the Switch.

Okay… so I'm placing the Switch on the treadmill

and detaching the uhhh… the Joy-Cons.

I'm going to put them in here for now, So that I don't lose them.

[Treadmill beeps]

I'm going to start and bring it up to six miles per hour.

[ Treadmill beeps three times ]

Okay.

Maybe it should be noted that the sensation

of running with a GoPro on your head is… odd.

I'm booting up Breath of the Wild.

Here we go!

Moving around seems not too difficult so far.

Where's my horse?

It's alright.

It's alright.

This game makes a lot of use of using the Joy-Con's motion sensors to aim, like

if you pull out your bow you have to aim with this thing.

So I need to go try to shoot something.

This would be easier if I had a large screen to display this on.

Because the screen is so small, with my head moving around like this, seeing what's on

the screen is probably the most difficult part

of this.

I pushed a button I didn't mean to push.

Okay.

I've gotta go find somethin' to kill.

I guess I could teleport there.

Let's gooo… out here.

Alright.

I'm gonna find me some baddies!

Why am I finding it so difficult to locate anybody to kill?

Maybe I should hang out until night-time.

Oh!

There's an enemy!

Okay.

Yeah, tryin' to aim is pretty ridiculous.

So anything that requires motion control is probably… not… what we want.

And now I'm trying to take a picture.

Got him!

It's not too bad, look!

I've already run three quarters of a mile and I've been

distracted by video games the whole time.

This is awesome.

A few months ago,

I went through the hardest few months of my life.

And right now, I want to take the time

to talk to my old self to help her through it.

Dear Old Niki,

You're about to wake up in what feels like a nightmare.

Everything around you is gonna feel dark, like a lie,

everythings going to feel so wrong.

And you're going to feel helpless, and it's gonna feel like the end.

Your trust will be completely broken from the person you thought would never do that.

Your boyfriend. Of four years.

Who you grew up with,

who you started dating before youtube.

And through the journey of youtube, you started putting your identity as a girlfriend,

...never just Niki.

So when you lost him you lost yourself, because

you were just Niki for the first time and you weren't ready for it.

I just felt like... the fat twin.

I felt like the acne twin.

I felt like...

I didn't have anything in my life that genuinely made me happy.

*sigh*

And I want to tell you right now that it's never a good time for change.

You think you know who you are but you really don't know who you are,

And deep down you know you don't know who you are and that's terrifying.

You hide behind your twin sister and you hide behind your youtube channel -

and your subscribers.

But inside there's somebody screaming who just wants to be herself and feel free.

And you're angry at yourself because you know you're changing

and you look at old photos and you want to stay that Niki but…

you know that you're not that Niki anymore.

And you're not used to that.

You're used to putting on this face all the time -

it's always what everyone else thinks it's always about how everyone else feels, it's never about how you feel.

But at the end of the day when you're going to bed, you are not happy.

You can only fake it for so long.

You can only be an actress for so long.

You're gonna hit rock bottom.

You're gonna feel real depression. You're gonna wanna not wake up.

You're just gonna want to keep escaping from reality and go back to bed and go back to bed.

But you can't hide from it. You have to face it.

You have to sit in it, and feel depressed, and cry, and be alone, and sleep.

It's gonna feel like ****

Be honest with yourself.

If you wanna curse, curse.

If you wanna have blue hair, dye your hair blue.

And if someone hurts you, leave them.

Stop being afraid to love yourself.

You can be who you are, you can be who you want to be.

It's really all up to you.

Embrace what makes you different.

Look at yourself in the mirror and know that's who you are, and that's totally ok.

When you put yourself first, everything changes.

You aren't going to be faking anything anymore.

You're actually going to be comfortable in your own skin and you're actually going to walk around

confident to be Niki… for the first time in your life.

Change is scary, change is unknown but…

you're growing up, you're not supposed to stay the same.

hey guys look low so I guess before we

even get starting hear what you think

about the middle of the night messy

Jason too he's the life of the party is

it a look because I felt like you know

the channel was we were having a good

time here we having a good goddamn time

we were doing our food fan Fridays in

our giving head right everyone so it's

nice happy and messy comes in oh my god

you know it feels like brought it down a

notch so I thought what you guys deserve

is the next three consecutive days

starting with today are going to be all

whom fan Fridays I know Wednesday

Thursday and Friday because you know

what I don't care if it's wednesday or

if it's thursday if i want to talk about

some foods and fucking fridays on that

day I will I don't risk back to your

calendars stupid thing to say anyway

alright so I thought the best way to

kind of jump back into this would be to

answer of course your most sexual

questions that's right today proved that

Friday's whole of your bar sometimes

x-rated inquiries you ready let's get

started well can I think your hot ass

please sure have you ever eaten pussy I

have hey on camera for length or girth

oh my god undoing the Trevin by Iran on

it these are all anonymous by the way

even if you guys are apparently

embarrassed you wouldn't even associate

your days with some of this shit since

and friday have you ever run into

someone you forgot you had sex with yes

yes i have does that happen to you too i

don't think that that's like a huge

thing is it some people feel like

they've never oh I could make them all

aren't you our two special baker's dozen

some of us have had more doughnuts if

you know what I mean no I just

no I have I think the most embarrassing

time are I'll tell you a quick story

it's right here between us or share the

fucking video I don't care so one time I

went to this I would dissipate was

really late my head advice to be there I

walk in and he goes I hang onto goes

Andrew I guess that's the kid's name

right who I think I'm meeting for the

first time it goes off sorry Andrews

blowing the dealer I quit my watch what

is it with your own money or something

he goes oh he just likes his dick I'm

like oh yeah want to eat one of these

parties I don't I get text messages you

want to come sure I don't ask what is it

like so I just go so I show up to this

thing secure than shit andrew is there

by the way it in front of people it gets

off his maybe turns around he all but

cartoon he went like that that's all

that was missing was fit Betty to happen

but he turns out of it hi I said Andrew

it said I'm Jason he goes yeah I know

we've had sex I'm like why I swear to

god I've never seen this person before

in my life also thoroughly embarrassed

in front of this group of people that

I'm even somewhat assoc I'm upset he has

my phone number let alone that there was

an exchange anyway that was the most

embarrassing one they're all right right

along what's the weirdest thing anybody

has ever said to you during sex I think

of your business bank and it wasn't even

that long ago the weirdest thing that

happened was right as someone was about

you hey looked me in the eye and they

were like I want to grow old with you

a waterfall and I'm like really in my

head that's what got you there right

what do you say to them I get you a

towel I mean I knew what was wrong but

that literally the only thing I could

say back at that at that moment anyway

that's I thought on that pretty strange

hi sex I bet you are actually no i'm not

i'm not into group sex a lot of people

think I don't know based on my

personality something about me said yeah

the more the merrier but that's not

actually the truth the whole harem with

the grape I mean that seems nice but the

fornicating now I'm more I honestly I'm

more of like a one-on-one kind of guy I

am I'm not into because I feel like my

what I normally do is I have an audience

I have a stage I'm performing I'm happy

but I don't really associate even though

a lot of my comedy is sexually based I'm

not actually like turned on when I'm

doing comedy i'm not i'm not in a sexual

mood which is why i can make jet and you

know make jokes about the sex it's

because i'm not in God I don't know we

don't think I really look like that when

I'm in tarrant Lee he turns into a slow

tiger no don't know what that looked

like I can't wait to be back in editing

how terribly drew like get'em a helmet

that probably seems like but anyway you

guys understand what i mean when i'm not

feeling like that way i can be funny so

what was the question the MinC group sex

no because i like more of a one-on-one

the audience thing is not a turn-on for

me it's more of a turn-on to not be in

control all right that's answering more

than you out moving on let's end on the

okay will you please fuck me ever since

I saw your channel before you deleted

the shirtless vid you have turned me on

and i want your dick badly here's the

problem with this you ask that question

anonymously you left me absolutely no

way to get in touch with you so even if

my sister is yeah which let's let's say

it is sure consider it yours I have no

idea how to contact you that is all for

this week oomph and friday stay tuned

for tomorrow's thursday and fridays and

three it's going to be good i like this

was the nice ones and kick it off with

very appropriate I'm embarrassed on

multiple levels I love you lots

10 Chinese Knockoffs of World Famous Monuments | China Uncensored - Duration: 6:25.

On this episode of China Uncensored,

building on the success of others.

Hi, welcome to China Uncensored,

I'm your host Chris Chappell.

China: The Middle Kingdom.

Home to many wonders.

The Great Wall of China.

The Terracotta Warriors.

The Classical Gardens of Suzhou.

The...Sphinx?

Uhhh, what's that doing there?

Well, you see,

modern China has a rich tradition of copying—

from McDnoald's to Polystation.

And this modern culture of copying

extends to a much grander scale

than you may imagine.

Chinese companies,

and even the Chinese government,

I kid you not,

spends millions on creating knockoffs

of some of the world's most famous monuments.

As I always say,

copyright infringement is the sincerest form of flattery.

So here are just ten of my personal favorites from China.

Number 10

The Sphinx

I only bring it up again

because there's not just one Sphinx.

I found at least two,

three,

four,

five—

that one now also has an Iron Man

for some reason—

and six.

Though that last one was a little too good

for the taste of the Egyptian government.

They were concerned it would draw tourists

away from the real Sphinx,

so they complained to Chinese authorities.

And amazingly,

they actually did something about it.

Number 9

The Colosseum

Keeping with the ancient world theme,

the Chinese special region of Macau

maintains its very own Colosseum.

It's actually in use, too.

The 2,000-seat venue has regular outdoor concerts.

And I'm sure sooner or later,

they'll start having prisoners of conscience

battle to the death there

for the amusement of officials.

I mean, might as well do something

before they have their organs harvested,

am I right?

I'm kidding of course.

The organs could get damaged.

Number 8

Florence—and also sort of Venice

200,000 square miles of former corn fields in Wuqing

have been converted into an outlet mall village

inspired by...various parts of Italy.

I mean, who needed all those corn fields anyway?

The buildings look kind of like Florence,

but there's also the Grand Canal from Venice.

Just be careful you don't fall into the Gap.

Number 7

The Louvre Pyramid

The actual Louvre pyramid in Paris

was designed by a Chinese American architect.

This one in Chongqing,

which is used as a sales office by the way,

is a little less awe inspiring.

Number 6

The Sydney Opera House

and Sydney Harbour Bridge

In Beijing, the capital of China,

comes this capital replica of one of the

most iconic things about Australia.

I just hope they don't rip off the

second-most iconic thing about Australia.

The Opera House and Harbour Bridge

are part of Beijing World Park—

a 115-acre park that's home to

a variety of famous world knockoffs.

Number 5

The Kremlin

Another one in Beijing.

Several government offices are here,

including the local weather bureau.

And the Chinese government spent

three and half million dollars on it.

I mean, government offices and wasteful spending d

o just go so well together.

Very likely, it's inspired by the churches

within Moscow's Kremlin—

but minus the Christian crosses of course.

Because government offices and religion

do not go so well together.

Number 4

London's Tower Bridge

While London bridges have the reputation

of falling down, falling down—

this one in Suzhou

seems sturdy enough,

considering it's twice the size of the original.

See? The original one in London

has a measly two towers,

but the Chinese one has four.

Just be careful:

To get off that highway,

keep an eye out for the Brexit.

It comes up fast.

Number 3

The Eiffel Tower

Though only about a third the height

of the original,

this one in Tianducheng has an advantage:

It has friends in other cities.

Though to be fair,

there are also Eiffel Tower knockoffs in America.

Like that one in Las Vegas. Or that weird one in Queens along the I-495.

Number 2

Arc de Triomphe

Speaking of Parisian triumphs,

here's a 30-foot tall Arc de Triomphe in Jiangyan.

Which is a little more impressive

than the one in Guangzhou.

And finally, Number 1

Washington, DC

Various knockoffs of the White House

and US Capitol Building

have sprouted up across China.

This one has been all but abandoned

to food vendors.

Too bad they're only knocking off

America's buildings,

and not America's rule of law

or basic freedoms.

But you know what?

There's something kind of nice about

all these knockoffs.

Most of China's 1.3 billion citizens

will never travel outside the country.

So when are they going to get a chance

to visit the White House or the Sphinx?

So I kind of applaud Chinese entrepreneurs

for tapping into this market

and bringing some of the world's great works of art

to the masses.

So which was your favorite?

And what is the next knockoff landmark

you'd like to see in China?

Leave your comments below.

Once again I'm your host, Chris Chappell.

See you next time.

Mysterious Triangle "UFO" Monitored Nuclear Facility, Newly Released Documents Show - Duration: 7:31.

Mysterious Triangle UFO Monitored Nuclear Facility, Newly Released Documents Show

For a number of years, reports of unusual, silent moving, triangular-shaped aircraft

have presented a recurring motif in UFO lore.

Reports of such aircraft have helped foment a number of responses from the public, which

range from notions of alien visitation, to the more down-to-Earth (and frankly, the

more likely) idea that secret military aircraft operate in our skies, representative of black

projects that fall well beyond public knowledge.

Perhaps, it could be argued, such technologies fall well beyond the knowledge of not just

the public, but of a wide variety of military agencies beyond those specialized fields in

which development of said craft may occur.

A recent report seems to detail this sort of cloak and dagger aviation, as released

to John Greenwald of The Black Vault.

The query was received from the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) via Freedom of

Information Act Request.

The (NRC) was created as an independent agency by Congress in 1974 to ensure the safe

use of radioactive materials for beneficial civilian purposes while protecting people

and the environment. The agency oversees and monitors commercial nuclear facilities,

as well as the use of distributed materials which are nuclear in origin, which require

inspection and regulation.

According to the documents obtained by Greenwald, between 1986 and 1989, a triangular unidentified

flying object (UFO) reportedly violated a protected area on the property of Cooper Nuclear

Station, near the Missouri River.

The incident, according to the report, was not reported to the NRC as required.

The summary of the report makes for fascinating reading, as it describes multiple witnesses

to a pair of sightings made over the course of two consecutive nights, and my multiple

members of the security staff.

A portion of the summary reads as follows: While posted at the intake structure one night,

he observed an unidentified flying object fly down the Missouri River about 150 feet

in the air and hover in front of the intake.

He observed it for a few moments and then contacted a fellow security officer who also

observed it (he could not recall the individuals name exactly but his first name was [REDACTED]

and his last name was either [REDACTED ]. After they together observed the UFO, it turned

and went back up the river and did not come back that shift.

He and the other officer shared their observation with their peers who did not believe them.

The next evening he again was posted at the intake and observed the UFO return again.

This time he didnt call anyone until the UFO had traversed into the protected area

and hovered above the protected area just north of the Reactor Building.

He said it was roughly triangular in shape with a circle of rotating lights on the bottom.

He could not hear any propulsion noise from the UFO.

He believes that it was roughly 1/3 the size of the Reactor Building.

Once the UFO hovered in the protected area.

He called the security break room and most of the officers on shift observed the UFO.

The report notes that the observers, whose names were redacted from the document, were

all security officers at the facility, all of whom were still employed at the facility

in June of 2010 when the report was filed.

After hovering there for a few minutes, the statement concludes, the UFO exited

the protected area and returned back up the river to the north as it had the previous

night.

The [observer] said that he never saw the UFO at the plant again after that evening.

The [observer] believes that this incident should have been reported as a violation of

the protected area space but was not reported. The entire report can be read online here.

The nature and origin of such unusual aircraft as these remain mysterious, though they have

been consistently reported over the years.

In February, KLAS Las Vegas reporter George Knapp, renowned for his interest in unidentified

aerial phenomena, reported on massive, triangular-shaped aircraft which have repeatedly been seen over

Nevada for a number of years, leading to some speculation about a super-size stealth

fighter or other similar massive aircraft.

Knapp noted that: Prominent aviation writers say theyve heard

rumors about a so-called super size stealth fighter, but the program has not been confirmed.

Such a plane would be valuable because it could carry more bombs than the stealth we

know today.

Clark figures the military wanted to show it off by flying it across the Valley in

broad daylight.

They cant have a press conference since they dont exist

In the early 1990s, the Federation of American Scientists conducted their own study into

claims of unusual aircraft such as this, which had simply been titled Mystery Aircraft.

According to the Federations Government Secrecy Project Director Steven Aftergood,

The study argues that secrecy in military aerospace has exceeded all reasonable justifications.

Such secrecy cannot, in any case, be effectively maintained beyond the early research and development

phase, and has little point in the absence of a high-tech adversary.

Secrecy in aerospace functions above all as a mechanism for enhancing the political

fortunes of questionable programs, Aftergood wrote.

In short, it appears that many black aircraft programs are designed only to penetrate Congressional

airspace. This is an interesting note to end on, since

the idea that a number of secret aviation technologies might operate with little purpose

other than for surveillance and monitoring here at home, rather than for use in operations

abroad.

Naturally, it does seem to constitute a concern with relation to efforts against unnecessary

government secrecy.

As for why they appear from time to time?

Much like the observers in the Cooper Nuclear Station incident, their testimony was not

believed at the time the observation occurred; hence, there is little need for hiding away

something that is so seldom seen, and so strange in appearance that it is hardly to be believed

anyway.

As the old saying goes, often the best place

to hide something is in plain sight.
