How To Overcome Fear Of Failure - Duration: 4:21.
How do you overcome fear?
and not just
fear but, fear of failure.
Kris Krohn here
with REITV and I'm excited to share
with you what I learned years ago that
stopped me dead in my tracks from making
one of my biggest mistakes thanks to one
of my mentors.
Fear, false evidence appearing real.
We're afraid of the unknown. We're afraid of
the of the tiger that's going to jump,
pounce on us out of the bush but guess
what? most of the time the Tiger's not
there! Yet, why do we have this fear?
because if the one in the 1 million time
the tiger actually pounced out we'd be
toast and so we go through life like an
ostrich with our head in the sand,
waving the big fleshy part around for the
tiger to jump out.
fear is no way to
live so how do you overcome a fear of
the unknown? Let me share with you
this paradigm I didn't make this up this
is called "Johari's Window" so I want to
talk to you about this Johari's Window and
here's how I learned about it. One of my
mentors I have paid hundreds of
thousands of dollars to, over the years.
I've got many mentors in this particular
mentor he sold his last company for
hundreds of millions of dollars the
reason why I paid him so much is because
he's been such a great guide and mentor
to me and knowing what I don't know.
Knowing what I don't know, is overcoming
that fear and I'll never forget him
sitting across from me and saying, "Chris
the most dangerous information to you
right now is what you don't know"
and then he showed me this.
so in these four quadrants up here on the top left,
these are things that are known to us but over
here these are the things that are not known
then running up this side right
here we have these things that are,
known
to others
and then we have things that
are not known
to others.
so here's the basic principle, things that are known to
us, and things are known to others. This
is open. There's nothing here to be
afraid of because this is what we know
and this is what others know. Now step
over here for just a moment. This is
where things that are not known to us
but they're known to others, these are
our blind spots. And should we have some
element of fear here, well I don't want
you to live with fear but guess what?
Being blind to the things that you don't
know is definitely a big problem. Now,
over here we got the things that are
known to us but these are also the
things that are not
others. And you know what you would call that?
We would call that
"Hidden"
these are our secrets also can be a
little dangerous but not as dangerous as
the blind spots. This is the one though
that poses the greatest danger. These are
things that we don't know, and these are
things that others don't know. And that
is what we call "unknown"
this is where our greatest fears come from.
It's this idea that, what you don't know is the
most dangerous information to you but
you know it's even more dangerous than
that not knowing that you don't know.
alright so we've got all of this
perception and lacking perception and
awareness in life that it's housing all
of this fear.
how do we overcome this fear?
Fear.
Nobody got time for that!
So I'm just telling you right now, make a choice
that you get to live in power that you
get to live happy. And I want to invite you to
brainstorm all of the new beliefs, and
choices that you could be making and
saying to yourself, calling in creation,
speaking into existence, feeling deeply
with your emotions, and your meditations
that pronounced upon your life a life
without fear. And how do you do that?
You do that with words of empowerment.
You do that with words of love.
Confidence, boldly,
nobly, moving forward in your life
crushing every opportunity that lies in
your path. Seizing every opportunity that
gets you where you want to be.
you have this one life to live so live limitless.
If you want to get a better idea on how to
do that come check out our three-day
empowerment seminar called "limitless"
it's our breakthrough event where we are
here to eradicate all fear that will
ever hold you back

Pro Tools: Compressing Vocals | Tips & Tricks | Berklee Online - Duration: 4:41.
(instrumental music)
- [Female Speaker] Let's compress this vocal.
So I've already got the EQ on here,
I've got his soloed, and I have
one section of the vocal isolated.
So I'm going to go to the next
insert point here, and I'm going to
navigate to Dynamics this time.
Let's load this Bomb Factory 1176.
This is native to Pro Tools.
So right here this might just
be confusing and overwhelming,
but let's take a look at all of
the different parameters here,
and we'll start by looking at this meter.
So however far this needle goes
up the meter, that's how much
gain reduction, that's how much
compression is actually happening.
So you can see here I have 10 decibels,
and then it goes straight to 20
so it gets a little bit more extreme
the further you get up the meter.
So we want to set the input, which
is equivalent to the threshold
so that we're docking or compressing
a tasteful amount, maybe somewhere
between five, six, definitely
under 10 dB for a vocal.
So let's start by doing that and
see if we can get this input knob set properly.
- [Female Vocalist] It's not that easy,
too much of a sacrifice.
Don't, it's not that...
- [Female Speaker] So that's actually pretty good.
It looks like I'm getting six
or seven dB of compression or reduction.
Let's just adjust this and you
can see what's happening as I
raise or lower the input.
- [Female Vocalist] It's not that easy,
too much of a sacrifice.
Don't, it's not that easy,
too much of a sacrifice.
Don't, it's not that easy.
- [Female Speaker] Let's go to a different
part of the song and see what's happening here.
- [Female Vocalist] You don't remember them,
they remember you.
You turn around and there they are,
staring back at you, put you in your place.
- [Female Speaker] So a lot less
compression in this area, but that
makes since because we've got less gain, less signal.
- [Female Vocalist] Oh, close your eyes,
and see the light.
- [Female Speaker] So this is a good level for it.
So now we need to set the output
so that we're getting pretty much
the same amount of signal as we
were before and after.
A lot of people use compression to
get additional gain or volume
which is the incorrect use for this tool.
We're just evening out the dynamic range.
So let's go here, this is a very dynamic area.
You can see there's lots of peaks
and valley's and then I'm going to
just set this output so that as
I bypass it you don't really notice
a change in the volume.
- [Female Vocalist] It's not that easy,
too much of a sacrifice.
It's not that easy.
- [Female Speaker] So it's a lot louder
naturally so we need to raise the output here.
- [Female Vocalist] It's not that easy,
too much of a sacrifice.
It's not that easy, too much of a sacrifice.
It's not that easy, too much of a sacri...
- [Female Speaker] I think I went
a little too hot, it's a little bit louder.
Like a little bit is fine you
just don't want to be using this
to give yourself more volume.
So once this is set, I've got about
seven below 10 dB...
of gain reduction
with the input and we can see that metering here.
Then I'm going to raise the output level
so that as I bypass this plugin
we're not getting extra volume.
We're just using it to even out the dynamic range.
Here's where we set the ratio
so four-to-one is a good setting for a vocal.
It's subtle, it's not overly compressed.
You don't want to get rid of the
dynamics you just want to manage
the dynamics a bit better.
So this 20-to-one would be more
of a limiter situation, and we
can just be here at four-to-one,
and that's how you're going to
set the compressor for your vocal.

Le-Vel Thrive Review - Real Thrive Experiences - Duration: 1:47.
I remember when he was talking about Le-Vel and the Thrive Experience and I'm like, okay
that's just great, but I'm already quite energetic and very healthy and I eat healthy things
so I really don't think that that, you know that's great, but I'm not ready to take that
yet.
But I did see him first and I thought wow and I heard the testimonies and I thought
maybe there's something more that I'm kind of maybe missing 'cause even though I am eating
very well and I'm very energetic I do sometimes have like an afternoon crash and they're talking
about having energy all day so I go, okay I'm gonna try it.
And so I tried of course the Thrive Experience.
I noticed a difference that fist day and I was like, Huh... okay.
Wow.
Maybe it's that but it might not be so I just tried it again and I actually felt great and
I did it a few weeks and then I thought well I'm just gonna get off it and just see if
it actually is making a difference.
So I didn't take it for a couple of days and then I was craving my coffee again and kinda
crashing and I thought, wow this is just - this is really good.
And when I tell some of my friends that, they're really amazed and it is very amazing and wonderful.

How Do I Make The Most of My Intuition - Duration: 7:21.
How Do I Make The Most of My Intuition?
Have you ever walked into a room and known immediately which of the strangers in it you
would like or dislike once you got to know them?
Have you ever ignored the latest health craze or health advice regarding medicine,
diet, or supplementation because it didnt feel right to youand you later found out
that it really wasnt good for your particular body?
Have you ever avoided a place or situation even though logic was telling you not toand
you found out later that it would have been a dangerous or uncomfortable venture for you?
If so, you have made great use of your intuition!
Congratulations for allowing it, acknowledging it, and trusting it.
However, if you are like many gifted, talented, and awakening individuals, you may marvel
at how intuition has served you, but you also wonder why intuition doesnt seem to make
itself known more often, more clearly, or as frequently as you would like.
Intuition or your gut feeling is actually your ability to tune into frequencies: the
frequencies of the people around you, of what you ingest, of your environment, and of an
emotion or scenario.
Some people are innately tuned into a larger spectrum of frequencies, almost like
a radio, and naturally pick up more stations. Those frequencies give them remarkable information
about people, as well as about situations in the past, present, and future.
Despite incredible efforts and progress, science tells us that there are still frequencies
out there that we are not yet capable of identifying, measuring, and understanding.
Therefore, most scientists and other researchers believe that not every human at this very
moment is genetically and environmentally equipped to receive every station or frequency
clearly.
However, we are certainly ALL capable of making the most of our own individual capacities
to tune in. So, here are some ways to appreciate the intuition that you have, develop
your intuition muscle further, and use it to make the most of this human experience.
Step 1: Tuning Into Your Intuition
REMIND yourself that we have been socialized and conditioned to filter and even ignore
our intuition, especially how it is expressed through our bodys sensations.
These sensations actually tell us how we are feeling, what we are needing, what others
around us are experiencing, what the weather may be, and even what the planet and cosmos
may be doing.
STEP BACK and OBSERVE your body as a vessel.
As objectively as possible, simply notice the emotions and physical sensations that
flow in and out of you at various points in your day.
TAKE NOTES so that over time you see more clearly which frequencies your body is truly
picking up, when you pick them up, and how regularly you respond to them.
By taking notes, you will see patterns more clearly and learn how to distinguish what
originates in your own system from that which you are picking up from others or from the
world around you.
You will also be fortifying your bodys library of frequencies to reference
and help you recognize whenever you encounter the same or similar ones in the future.
Step 2: Trusting Your Body and Instincts
Once youve taken notes and taken notice of when and how your system responds, CONFIRM
what RESONATES with YOUnot what works for others or what others tell you should work
for you.
RESPECT and ADDRESS CRAVINGS, especially if you crave a food or spice, a certain environment
(country, city, water, nature, etc.), climate or temperature, sport or activity, hobby,
theory or modality.
There is a reason and/or function for it.
The craving signals something you are missing or needing in order to thrive optimally in
that moment or even long-term.
LISTEN TO and TRUST the signals in your body, and your body will unleash more and more valuable
and understandable information, and do so much more frequently.
Step 3: Flexing Your Intuition Muscle
PRACTICE on OTHERS because it benefits you both!
Ever notice that you feel like a guru when asked to give advice to others, but often
dont seem to take or trust that advice in your own life?
The same sort of second-guessing or over-filtering happens with intuition as well.
So, in order to flex your intuition muscle, practice being someone elses frequency/intuition
guru.
When you MEET someone, TOUCH someones hand, or TALK with someone, NOTICE what you feel
and the thoughts or ideas that dart in and out of your head very quicklyespecially
when those thoughts are random or dont coincide with the setting or with that persons
body language.
At some point either immediately or in the future, ASK that person (appropriately and
sensitively, of course!) about what you were sensing, experiencing, or thinking.
You are likely to find that you were picking up their frequenciestheir thoughts, feelings,
and even future energy.
You will have gotten practice, and they will have gotten a valuable sense of connection.
PAY ATTENTION to the content, timing, and sensations in DREAMS or even ASTRAL TRAVEL.
Dreams or projection/travel are key ways for you to receive and develop intuitive messages,
information, or downloads both from within yourself and from energies or entities
beyond this world.
Step 4: Raising Your Own Frequency Levels to Enhance Intuition
SURROUND YOURSELF or BE IN CONTACT with others of higher frequency.
As athletes know, the most effective way to really improve your own level of performance
is to be around others who are where you hope to be too.
ENGAGE in the activities or IMMERSE yourself in the environments that make you feel best
and in your zone. Whether its in water, nature, watching a movie, reading a
book, working out, etc., spend time in your place of clarity, joy, creativity, and comfort.
VISUALIZE desirable outcomes and even write or map them so that they seem more tangible
and dimensional.
Dwelling in possibility leads to dreams coming true!
TRUST and BE GRATEFUL for the ride.
Your life has been filled with synchronicities, blessings, lessons, and triumphs.
Know that they have served you even in the moments that you questioned them.
KNOW that your purpose and destiny will also unfold perfectly as you keep moving and keep
open
to the greatness of our energetic universe.

Roles (Creating an RPG - Part 5) - Duration: 12:10.
Hello, welcome to Dystopic Multiverse,
and in this fifth video of the series about Creating an RPG I want to talk about roles.
When you start developing an RPG in which there is a setting you are necessarily delimiting the role, or rather the roles
that the player characters will be able to act in, that they will be able to play in your game.
This is very clear in games in the World of Darkness line, where you play as a vampire, a werewolf, a mage, a changeling, or a wraith, etc.
and each of these races has a whole culture and a series of restraints specific to them.
Evidently there are more delimitation when you go into the details of each character.
And the...
The possibility of going against the stereotype within a certain kind of character is something that adds to the game, for sure,
it adds to the player's experience with that character, but there are still some limits to what this character may be.
A vampire will always be afraid of fire, burn in sunlight, etc.
Drink blood...
In games that use classes, the character's role is delimited by the kind of game, in a general outline, as well.
And the character's class delimits it even further.
If you play Dungeons & Dragons, your character will most of the time be an adventurer.
And your class delimits what kind of aptitudes you bring to the group, whether you're a warrior, a druid, a bard, or whatever.
The planning... The development, really... Of which character roles you want to make available in your game is very important.
Even in a... In an RPG that is a pure, generic system, without a scenario linked to it, you must take this into consideration,
which roles do you want the characters to be able to play within their respective games, because the rules must support them.
So a game like GURPS, for instance, needs to have a ruleset that is flexible enough to allow the creation of characters
that are interesting and capable of doing something within a story of horror, or supers, or fantasy, or whatever.
A less generic system, but with a... How can I say this... without a scenario delimited but with a specific genre,
like, for instance... All Flesh Must Be Eaten, or Mutants & Masterminds,
the game gives you a structure for characters within that kind of game. In All Flesh Must Be Eaten it will be zombies.
So you have the guidelines to create a character who'll be a survivor, there are different kinds of them and different rules for each,
and for the ways you can create a zombie story, which go from Medieval Fantasy to Science Fiction, going through Pulp and etc.
and rules for creating these zombies, to allow for these different kinds of games.
In Mutants & Masterminds you play with a super-powered character. There are rules, there are several powers,
the ways you can do it, to create protagonists and antagonists,
and from that you develop whatever you want, but your character's role will be that of a super-human, somehow.
Even if it's a regular human with super tech armor, or magic, or even a super-human ability in certain things.
An excellent martial artist, or an alien, or... You know, Supers.
The ruleset, the game gives you a basis to play these roles,
and... Many times, its... It's hard to... Develop it.
You may feel forced to follow the... The lines of the big guys, the giants of this market like Dungeons & Dragons,
or you may feel forced to... To have something like a... A historical accuracy. If you have a game, you're developing a game
set in a period similar to the Viking Age, you must have berserkers, you must have bards, etc.
Ok, if it makes sense within your game, I can see no problem in having druids, bards, clerics, warriors, monks, etc.
But it must make sense! A D&D monk doesn't fit in a Medieval Europe setting... As an example.
And this imposes a limit, even if only for a specific game... The GM has to say "there'll be no monks in this...
Not unless we change the class A LOT!"
Another thing that delimits character roles a lot, like I said in the beggining, are races. In Storyteller and in Storytelling,
both in the Chronicles of Darkness and the World of Darkness, the main delimitation of your role is your race:
Vampires, Mages, Werewolves, Prometheans, Hunters, etc.
This is somewhat present in Dungeons & Dragons, for instance, but in a lesser way because you usually don't deal with the culture
of a specific character, since most groups are multiracial. If you want a game that's focused on a single race,
explore a specific race, you'll end up stepping on the players' toes, like "you can't play a half orc, you can't play an aasimar,
you can't play any of these several races because I want a game about elves."
Ok, there's merit to it, but not every player wants to play that.
If your scenario offers various race options, you have to take that into consideration.
If your scenario doesn't offer various race options, you have to take that into consideration
because... That's something that attracts players too... The races you can play are something interesting in a scenario.
And they delimit a bit what your character can do.
It's very unlikely that the elf lives in a cave, and it's very, VERY unlikely that a vampire and a werewolf walk around arm in arm.
Especially during the day...
So... These are all things that you have to consider while developing your game.
What are the roles you expect players to play in the stories created using it?
Are the characters ordinary people in that world? Are they special, or are they... Worse then most, for some reason?
Are they pariahs, or outcasts, or weaker? Why?
This helps the... It supports the rules, actually. Not simply help them, but it supports the rules.
With this vision you can develop the rules in a way that is... Clearer, more directed, more efficient.
There are certainly different ways of seeing this, this is MY way of doing it, and I'd like to know how you guys see it,
those of you who have experience in developing a game or even stories slightly different from a game's usual standard.
For instance... If you had to develop a story, and optional rules, and all that, for a Stalker scenario,
or of Lovecraftian Horror, using MYFAROG, for instance.
Or if you developed a story and a scenario that was different using Dungeons & Dragons.
Or... Whatever.
Please comment, share your experiences.
Thank you for your patience, and I'll see you soon.
