Ryujaehong is one of the most famous and best Overwatch players to ever play
the game he's been repeatedly mentioned as the
best player even by other professional players who are not on his team, Lunatic-hai
Ryujehong Ryujehong Ruyjehong Ryujehong of course.
so what makes Ryujehong a force to be
reckoned with in the pro overwatch scene?
Ryujehong was already an established
first-person-shooter veteran before he appeared an overwatch. He started his
road to pro with the original Counter Strike growing his love for playing
first-person shooter games. In counter-strike 1.6 he was part of one of
the best amateur clans named Alicia Cell he was then drafted onto Lunatic-
hai a Korean esports team to start his career as a professional Counter Strike
player. After his time in counter-strike 1.6, he transitioned over to a Korean
first-person shooter game called Special Force 2 developed by Netmarble. Special
force 2 was the next big competitive first-person shooter in Korea which made
Ryujehong make the switch from Counter Strike. During this period Ryu
jehong won the trophy in a Special Force 2 PC tournament and was drafted to
STX Seoul in 2011 where he contributed greatly to the team's success as STX
Seoul won the champion title in 2011 and 2012. His prowess with a sniper rifle
earned him the "best sniper award" in 2012, a title many Special Force 2 players
sought-after. Unfortunately the Special Force 2 pro scene disbanded after 2012
which made Ryujehong switch back to Counter-Strike. After a year of playing
as a pro in the Counter-Strike online scene in 2013, Ryujehong served in the
Korean military which he finished in 2016. When he returned a game called
Overwatch had hit store shelves and the PC bangs across the country. Because Ryu
-jehong was already a seasoned veteran in professional first-person shooter
games went Overwatch released, he was already experienced playing well
under pressure. He not only possessed great accuracy and
effective character maneuvers, but also the ability to improvise and make
optimal decisions out of unexpected in game situations. But the main reason he
became a household name in professional overwatch and the public is because of
his mastery of the hero: "Ana reporting for duty." There are three features which
make Ryujehong's Ana stand out from the rest. First
is Ryujehong's effective utilization of Ana skills. Ana has two skills: Sleep dart
and Biotic grenade.
Ana fires a dart from her sidearm which puts the target to sleep when hit.
Sleep dart has a point 5 second prep time before it's fired and if hit the target
sleeps for five point five seconds. The sleeping target wakes up if they are
damaged during the time of sleep but has a waking up animation of 0.5 seconds.
You can use the sleep dart to keep an enemy out of the battle for several seconds or
to take a target out with your team or by yourself to gain the upper-hand.
Ryujehong knows when to use the Sleep dart to turn the tide of the game and
execute the shot successfully. He anticipates which enemy Ultimates are
coming and accurately puts them to sleep to make the battle of five versus six
allowing his team to save their ults for the next fight. By doing so his team can
accumulate even more ultimate charge and advantages often leading to a victory
Ryujehong uses exceptionally low eDPI. This is probably due to his long
career in classical first-person shooter games where fights happen usually within
the screens field of view and results are highly dependent upon the reaction
time within that view. Having a lower eDPI will increase his accuracy at the
expense of more mouse movement, but Overwatch is not like classical
first-person shooter games. Overwatch is a much more fast paced game with a lot
more movement and action on screen. Trying to Sleep dart a fast-moving
target such as Winston, Tracer and Genji would require more Mouse movement in
order to even land to crosshair on the enemy. Ryujehong and Whoru
the DPS for Lunatic-Hai has confirmed while streaming that Ryujehong uses
the DPI change button on his Logitech G 402 Mouse to raise the edpi temporarily
to follow the fast targets and hit them with the Sleep dart
the idea behind this technique is he gets to retain his accumulated muscle
memory from his past first-person shooter career to stay accurate while
compensating for the slower screen movement by switching the DPI settings
on the fly.
Ana throws a grenade which heals or disables healing in an area
upon contact. Depending on who is hit, - enemy Biotic grenade deals 60 points of
damage and blocks any sequential healing and shows the health bar of inflicted
enemies to allies for a duration of time. Blocking the ability to heal can
contribute greatly to critical picks and make enemy healers temporarily useless
in a fight. To allies, Biotic grenade instantly gives a hundred points of
healing and buffs them temporarily to receive 50% more from sequential healing.
Tnstant healing and of itself is significant and the healing buff can
really save dying allies from getting picked off by healing them faster.
Ryujehong uses the Biotic grenade both aggressively and defensively to initiate
a fight or ensure the survival of his teammates by himself. He understands when
the healing debuff is fatal to the enemy composition and makes effective hits
that carry the fight for his team. He also knows how to save his grenade to
defend himself against flanking enemies. Landing the grenade on yourself and the
enemy gives 60 points of damage and he'll block to the enemy while giving
the buff a 50% more sequential healing plus a hundred points of instant healing
to nearby allies and oneself. He usually holds on to at least one of these two
skills, Sleep dart and Biotic grenade, to put pressure on enemy flankers closing
in on him making their dives much more risky.
The second feature of what makes
Ryujehong's Ana great is his accuracy and the ability to quickscope. Ana's
scope shots are hitscan meaning the shot will land the moment you pull the
trigger. Not having to worry about the projectile speed allows for more
accuracy. The downside is that staying zoomed
restricts the view thus making Ana vulnerable to flanking enemies.
Left-click hipfire gives a wider view than the scoped one but the shots act as
projectiles which takes a certain amount of travel time to land on the target.
Ryujehong uses a mixture of both and as he was one of the best snipers in his
previous career in special force 2 - his shots are very precise one key skill
that Ryujaehong used in Special Force 2 - was quickscoping. Quick scoping is
where you zoom in with a sniper rifle and fire before the scoping motion is
complete. In Special Force 2, sniper hip fires were inaccurate where there wasn't
even a crosshair without scoping. Ryujehong would anticipate that the shot
would land on the middle of the screen and shoot before the scope view even
appeared. In Overwatch quick scoping affords accuracy and hitscan shots of a
scoped view with the wider view of hipfire. With this, his Ana can provide
instant healing to allies and damage to enemies with each shot while still
staying alert to enemy threats. His strong quick scoping ability allows him
to adapt and react to different situations better than other Ana players.
The third feature is his ability to improvise and make the best out of
unfavorable situations Ryujehong has shown many witty maneuvers and
decision-making that often led to his team winning the fight. He would conduct
excellent strafing maneuvers to stay alive and buy time and work with Lunatic-hai's
other healer counterpart Tobi to resist and survive even the most
difficult situations.
There are many reasons to praise his wits. He knows how to play smart and gain
the upper hand through even small advantages gained from better decisions.
Making the best decision is difficult to conduct often because there is no
guidebook with the correct answers. To be able to make the call and conduct novel
and innovative plays, one must know how to play calmly under pressure.
Ryujehong indeed has that quality from his long career in the first-person shooter
pro scene. The thing is these strengths are simply resembled his other hero
selections too. Though he is renowned as a skilled support, he was a McCree / Zarya
main before Ana came out. He has shown a variety of different heroes in which he
performed at a professional level such as Sombra Mei and Soldier, especially in
APEX season 3. Due to this, many Overwatch pros praised Ryujehong for his
ability as a flex. Although Lunatic-hai required Ryujehong
to work mainly as a healer, he is indeed capable of so much more.
Being a sufficient flex provides more room for Ryujehong to adapt to
different situations and change the game Recently Ana received a damage buff
from 60 to 70 not as good as when the damage was 80 but the buff will be
enough to kill 200 hit point heroes with only three or two shots and a grenade.
Hopefully, we'll be able to see Ryujehong's Ana a bit more the Overwatch League.

The State Department has released over 2,000 emails belonging to top Hillary Clinton operative

A CNN report on the emails attempted to downplay Abedin's knowledge of the classified material
but nonetheless confirmed that certain emails should not have been on the laptop in the
first place.
The emails weren't marked as classified, though the FBI later found classified information
contained in some emails recovered from Weiner's laptop.
CNN has previously reported it was likely that some of the emails stored on Weiner's
laptop contained classified information, and fired FBI Director Comey testified that there
is no indication Abedin "had a sense that what she was doing was in violation of the
law."
The fact that Clinton and Abedin previously exchanged classified emails gave federal prosecutors
probable cause to justify their review of Weiner's laptop in fall 2015, according
to a search warrant application released in December 2016.
Though neither Abedin nor Weiner was identified by name in the search warrant documentation,
and the court ordered the materials redacted, the affidavit in support of the warrant makes
clear that the FBI argued that there was further probable cause to search Weiner's hard drive
in light of the fact that Abedin and Clinton previously exchanged classified emails.
Yes, you read that correctly.
CNN and the Clinton shills in the FBI expect the American people to believe that Abedin
wasn't aware that taking classified material home was illegal.
Interestingly, Abedin made a trip to Clinton's Manhattan office just hours before the release
of the emails in a move that many believe was connected to the email release itself.
The Daily Mail noted:
Huma Abedin was spotted heading into the Hillary Clinton offices in midtown Manhattan on Friday
just a few hours before the release of 2,800 of her emails.
The longtime aide to Hillary Clinton was joined by her son Jordan, who she has been raising
as a single mother ever since her husband Anthony Wiener entered a correctional facility
in Pennsylvania earlier this year.
Abedin submitted her divorce papers on the same day Weiner appeared in court to enter
his guilty plea back in May.
Weiner was sentenced to 21 months behind bars and ordered to pay $10,000 after entering
a guilty plea to a single charge of transferring obscene material to a minor.
The emails contained on Weiner's laptop included national security discussions, with
classified information, that would have gotten any other person arrested and charged by the
FBI immediately.
The Daily Mail report continued:
The emails date from 2010, 2011 and 2012 and concern discussions with Middle East leaders
including some from Israel, the United Arab Emirates, Hamas and the Palestinian Authority.
Large portions, including entire pages, were redacted before the documents' release.
The charges against Weiner arose after DailyMail.com revealed in September of last year that he
had been sexting a 15-year-old high school student from North Carolina for months.
In the wake of that revelation he had his laptop seized, and emails found on the device
led to a second FBI probe into Clinton's email server, which she later claimed cost
her the election.
It is those emails that have now been released by the State Department.
All in all this is simply more proof that high-level Clinton operatives within the FBI
not only allowed Clinton to get away with the email scandal, they also let Abedin off
the hook as well.

UNDERRATED BOOKS OF 2017 - Duration: 12:46.
Hi guys, today I thought I would talk about some of the 2017 releases, that I read in 2017,
that I just feel were a little bit underrated and deserve some more love.
Either because I haven't really heard many people talking about them or
because they were slightly overshadowed by another massive release that came out
around at the same time that it did and yeah I just thought I would give them
the spotlight today and give them the love that I feel as though they deserve
because I thought they were absolutely fantastic. In no particular order, the
first book I have is 'Mafiosa' by Catherine Doyle and this is the third
and final book in the 'Blood For Blood' trilogy. Which is one of my favourite
trilogies of all time and I couldn't recommend it more highly. I have a
feeling this maybe hasn't been talked about quite as much because it is the
last book in the trilogy but this is basically this kind of 'Romeo and Juliet'
inspired Mafia action romance kind of thing. I have no idea what genre you
would really put this in because it has everything. It has incredible friendships,
the most gripping and intense storyline, fantastic romances and it just has
everything personally I could want in a book and this was just as fantastic as
the rest of the trilogy and honestly I don't want this to end. I just want this
to be a long-running series because I adore each and every character and it
just has so much of what I want from a book. Plus Disney references, which is
essentially everything I could possibly want from a book so. I am slightly gutted
that this is only a trilogy and that has ended but I do think that this is the
perfect goodbye to the trilogy because it was so much fun and it was just as
intense and heartbreaking and gripping and I couldn't put it down. I am without
a doubt going to be rereading this trilogy multiple times because it is so
addictive, so fast paced, so easy to read and so incredibly enjoyable.
Next I have 'Contagion' by Teri Terry and I really don't know how to describe this
but I do feel as though going into this knowing as little as possible is kind of
the best way to do it but essentially it is about a disease that is spreading
across the nation and nobody knows what's caused it and nobody really knows
how to contain it or handle it and it is basically killing everybody. It is a dual
perspective between a girl that's just trying to navigate what is going on and
trying to survive and the girl who is a ghost of a child that
died due to this disease and it was just so incredibly gripping, so incredibly
addictive and fast-paced and unpredictable which I really enjoyed and
I'm not someone that tends to enjoy ghost books. I don't really like
paranormal aspects in books but this didn't really feel like a paranormal
book because the girl in it very much just felt like an alive girl and every
now and then you were reminded that she was in fact dead and a ghost but in a
really great way and I thought it was really great. It really surprised me how
much I enjoyed it, especially considering I went into it not really knowing
anything about it. It definitely ended on a cliffhanger and I'm really looking
forward to seeing where this goes and also the writing in it was so great
because it was so easy to read. I flew through it. I think I read this in one
sitting and I'm not someone that tends to read books in one sitting but the
chapters were so short, that I just couldn't put it down because I kept
wanting to know what was going to happen. Also this is the cover for the ARC that
I got at YALC last year. So I will put on the screen the final cover but this was great.
I really enjoyed it and I think it was
incredibly underrated and I feel as though it definitely deserves a little
bit more love because it was a really really fun and different read.
Next I have 'Tash Hearts Tolstoy' by Kathryn Ormsbee and this follows Tash after her
YouTube web series goes viral and she kind of becomes an overnight internet
sensation and becomes a little bit famous and it also follows her coming to
terms with her sexuality, as is she is asexual and it's basically about her
navigating this newfound fame and her sexuality. Whilst also juggling her
friendships and relationships and family and it was just a really, really fun read.
I really, really enjoyed it. I loved all of the characters. I loved the
relationships and the different relationship dynamics there were in it
because there was romance and friendship and family and I just really enjoyed
that aspect of it. I really enjoyed the fact that the main character was asexual
because I don't think I've ever read a book with an asexual character in it before.
So it was really refreshing to read and kind of just learn about that and I
also love the YouTube element in it because I also don't think I've ever
read a book with this someone with a YouTube channel in it. Which was so much
fun as someone that does have a YouTube channel. So if you are looking for a book
with an asexual main character or with YouTube representation, I would
most definitely recommend this because it was definitely a very, very fun cute
contemporary read and I really, really enjoyed it. I then have 'A Quiet Kind Of Thunder'
by Sara Barnard, which is the contemporary following a girl called
Steffi and she is selective mute and has anxiety and it basically follows her
after she meets new boy in school Rhys, who is deaf. And it follows their
relationship and how they communicate through sign language and sort of help
to bring each other out of their shells, whilst dealing with their own struggles
and dealing with growing up and things like that
and I thought this was absolutely gorgeous. I loved it so much. The anxiety
representation in it was absolutely superb. I really enjoyed the element of
sign language in it because that isn't something that I've ever read in a book
and I can't personally say whether or not the deaf representation in it was
correct but from what I can tell it was very respectful but as I said that is
something I'd most certainly can't speak for because I haven't had any experience
with it but it was just adorable and funny and cute and also informative and
important and honest and raw and I just could use every single word to describe
this book because it has so much in it. The writing was incredibly easy to read.
I flew through it and I really enjoyed the writing style in it. I loved the
dynamics between all of the characters and the different types of relationships
they all had and how those different relationships dealt with the different
things that these characters were dealing with and I just thought it was great.
There was also a dog in it, which instantly puts it in my good books.
I've heard U.K based BookTubers and bloggers talking about this but I think because
this is a UKYA book, I've just not really heard anyone outside of the UK
talking about it. So if you are outside of the UK and you've not heard of this
or not really seen anything about it, I would 110% recommend it because I
thought it was absolutely gorgeous and definitely deserves more recognition.
I don't think I have heard a bad word said about it. It was just such a lovely read
and as I said I would most definitely recommend picking it up if you can get
it in your country, which I'm assuming you can do but it's great.
I then have a new adult novel, which I absolutely adored and I've not heard anybody talk
about and that is 'North To You' by Tif Marcelo and this is set in San Francisco
and is about Camille who is a food truck owner and Drew whose family
owned a Filipino restaurant and they had a thing with each other whilst
Highschool but they haven't seen each other for 10 years, after drew went into the army.
And it's basically this kind of rivalry foodie romance and it was just
absolutely fantastic. There was so much food and it just made me want to read
every single foodie book there is because it was so fantastic.
Camille watched 'Hart of Dixie', which made me very very happy because I absolutely love
'Hart to Dixie' and I've never heard anybody talk about it and I just really
enjoyed the fact that there was this whole Filipino cultural element to it
because it just set it aside from so many other books that I've read.
I loved all of the descriptions of the Filipino food and I just really enjoyed
all of the food in it. It was just so much fun to read about so much food.
I absolutely adored all of the characters in it. I loved the romance in it and I
also really, really enjoyed the family elements of it and the relationships and
family dynamics in it. I thought that was absolutely fantastic and I know that
this is the start of a companion trilogy and I'm so excited to continue with it.
I believe both of the books have already come out but I've just not gotten around
to reading them yet. I just feel as though a lot of people would really
enjoy it but I'm assuming because it is new adult, that is why I haven't
heard so many people talking about it because I know not quite as many people
read new adult books on BookTube and things like that. I myself am one of
those people but I picked this up and absolutely adored it. So I would 110%
percent recommend it, if you're looking for a foodie rivalry romance, with
just wonderful characters. That kind of gave me a 'Jane The Virgin' vibe and I
still am not entirely sure why but I'm sticking with it because it just gave me
that kind of family relationship, 'Jane the Virgin' kind of vibe and I thought
it's fantastic. I loved it, so I definitely recommend it. I then have
'Undercover Princess' by Connie Glynn and this follows Lottie Pumpkin, who has
always wanted to be a princess but she's just you're normal every day girl and
then Ellie Wolfe, who is a princess but has only ever wanted to be a normal
everyday girl and it is basically about to them after they become roommates at
Rosewood Hall. This was just so much fun. I absolutely adored it. The writing was
adorable. It was almost kind of Cath Kidston-esque.
Which I mean in the nicest way possible because it was so lovely and very
classically British, which was so much fun to read. But the main reason that I
loved this so much, is that it just felt so nostalgic to me.
And I can't quite put my finger on why but I just had this
very warm, comforting feeling whilst reading this book and it's a book that I
feel is so, had I read it when I was a lot younger, it would have become one of
my absolute favourites of all time. Just because this was so my reading taste when
I was younger and I feel as though because of that, I just loved it so much now.
It kind of reminded me of 'Harry Potter' meets 'The Princess Protection Program',
despite there not being any magic in it. It was just delightful.
It was just an absolute delight to read. If you are looking for a book with
'Cinderella' vibes but also a cast of badass, strong characters and loads of
secrets and things like that, this is something I would definitely recommend
because this was all of that and more and I had so much fun reading it.
And the last book I have that I just want to constantly shout about and give so much
love because I absolutely adored it and although I heard quite a lot of things
about it before it was released, I haven't really heard too much about it
since it has come out. So I'm just going to mention it now, even though it probably
isn't classically classed as being underrated and that is 'Invictus' by Ryan Graudin.
Which is sci-fi about a crew of time traveling teenagers, who pull off
different heists, in different time periods and I loved this book so very much.
It is just absolutely fantastic. It kind of just reminded me of
'Guardians of the Galaxy' had 'Guardians of the Galaxy' been about time traveling teenagers.
It had the most fantastic dynamic between all of the characters,
which was definitely reminiscent of the dynamics between the 'Guardians of the Galaxy' cast
and it was just so much fun. There was a red panda in it, there was
time traveling in it. There was just a fantastic cast of characters that I
loved each and every one of. I could not put it down. It was so incredibly
addictive to read and it was so easy to read. It was ridiculously fast paced and
so, so gripping and I just never wanted it to end and I'm kind of sad that it is a
standalone because I just want more from these characters and more from this
story because it was just unlike anything I've read. I thought it was so
unique and original and I lapped it up. I just loved it but with that being said,
it was definitely a really fantastic standalone. It completely stood on its
own as a brilliant story. This is probably now one of my favourite sci-fi's
I've ever read and I just thought it was great.
I want it to be a movie. I kind of just want this to now be made into a Marvel
movie and almost like the teen version of 'Guardians of the Galaxy'. I'd be 100% for that.
I just thought it was great. It was so unique
and I adored it. So I definitely think this deserves so much more hype and so
much more love because it was absolutely phenomenal. So those are the books that I
read in 2017, that were released in 2017, that I just feel as though deserve a lot
more hype and love and just deserve more appreciation because I thought they were
absolutely fantastic and I would love to know if you have read any of these books
and what you thought of them or if you are wanting to read them and if they
are on your TBR and if they are I would most definitely recommend bumping them
up because I thought they were absolutely superb and I thoroughly
enjoyed each and every one of them. And if there are any 2017 releases that you
