Waching daily Jan 1 2018

My name is Russell Guyver, I'm a musician here at the real international cello

encounter and we're having a wonderful collaboration here with the Youth

Orchestra from Ecuador, from Quito Ecuador and this morning I've enjoyed

very much working with their viola section. Very talented, very receptive and

wonderful people and so I'd like to just encourage them, number one: practice

slowly. Practice slowly at the instrument. The viola is an instrument with unique

possibilities of sound and we have to explore that as we did it in today's

class, so I really encourage that, please, think of phrasing just as when one

speaks; one pauses, one takes a breath and so on, so with the bow into the similar

things. I encourage you in your studies. Please work mindfully, in all you do

think about what you are studying. Always have a goal in mind,

a result that you want from your studies and, from my experience this morning, I

know you will be successfull

قرار ترامب بالاعتراف بالقدس كعاصمة لإسرائيل | Recognizing Jerusalem as the Capital of Israel - Duration: 4:48.

"I don't Israel will retreat from it's illegal borders unless the Arabic world recognize it's legal borders" Nelson Mandela

Israel is a country recognized by the whole world and a member state of the UN

Israel succeeded in establishing itself as a scientifically and militarily advanced state and succeeded in

establishing the only democratic and the only secular country in the middle east

I'm not making this video to say that Trump's decision was right, in fact he was wrong

and any one who's superficially following global politics and knows a little bit about international law

will know why Trump's decision is wrong, and will know why there's no country in the world, at least before his decision

recognizes Jerusalem as the capital of Israel or having it's embassy in Jerusalem

and if you wanna know more about the global point of view towards the city of Jerusalem and it's

status according to international law, you can check my last video in English, and it's translated into Arabic

and anyone who knows a little bit about global politics will have more knowledge than Trump about this subject

because Trump is not a politician, he's a business man, and according to his logic as a business man

this step is certainly right, because it conforms with the ideologies of the religious Jews and Christians

who supported him financially during his electoral campaign, and contributed in achieving his presidency

so he's just following their beliefs so he can guarantee their support and achieve a second presidential term

of course I'm not giving Trump any excuse for his wrong decisions, currently he is a politician and he has to

play his role as a politician without being biased, but he did the exact opposite

Let's go back to Israel, as I said Israel is a successful country recognized by the whole world

except for the Muslim world, 26 member states of the UN do not recognize Israel as a state

and of course, it is not a surprise to know that all of these countries are Muslim countries except for North Korea

and here's the problem, the problem is with the Muslim mentality that thinks that Jerusalem should belong

to Muslims, why should it belong to Muslims? because of fairy tale in the Islamic religion, because Muhammad

claimed that he flew from Jerusalem on the back of a mule or a donkey, no one actually knows for sure

and flew to outer space, then to heaven

disregarding the absurdity of this belief, but it is the main reason why Muslims

think Jerusalem should belong to them, saying that Jerusalem should belong to Muslims is an

equally stupid statement as saying that Jerusalem belongs to Jews

Jerusalem does not belong to Jews or Muslims, and there's no such a thing as a piece of land that belongs

to a specific group of people believing in a specific religion, the right for any country to have sovereignty over

a piece of land belongs only to international law, and according to the international law, Jerusalem is a disputed land

it does not belong to Israel nor does it belong to any other country, and if the Arabic world truly wants to

establish a Palestinian state, them it must build it's understanding and desire according to

a clear understanding of international law and the global point of view, however if the Muslim world wants to

establish a country depending only on their fairy tales and not recognizing Israel's right to exist

Then the Arabic world's politicians will fail in their negotiations with Israel in the future as they

failed in the past, and will never establish a Palestinian state

understanding that Israel has the right to exist just like any other country and knowing it's legal borders

according to international law is a duty for every Muslim person and a crucial step in reaching peace and

ending the Arab Israeli conflict, the global point f view will never coincide with the

Muslim world's point of view as long as the Muslim world is building it's ideas according to some fairy tales

btw, the Palestinian Liberation Organization itself, which is the only body that is recognized globally

and recognized by the UN as the only representative of the Palestinian people, recognizes Israel's right to exit

and recognizes Israel's legal borders according to Oslo accords in 1995

but when Muslims think of Israel as an occupation and they should all perform Jihad against it with their

blood as souls, and it should be erased from history, and they should kill every Jew living within it's borders

then all of this will create big obstacles in front of the Arab politicians to take any step towards peace and

towards establishing a Palestinian state. Arab politicians will never take any positive steps towards peace

as long as Muslims in their countries will not recognize these steps as positive and will consider them traitors

this is why, solving the Arab Israeli conflict begins with every Muslim person

Peace

BREAKING!!! THE Queen Is PISSED!!! SO Much For That WEDDING!! - Duration: 4:42.

BREAKING!!!

THE Queen Is PISSED!!!

SO Much For That WEDDING!!

After Prince Harry popped the question to American actress Meghan Markle earlier this

month, you would think that England would erupt with cheers and well wishes for the

happy couple, however that has hardly been the case, and it does not appear to be changing

anytime soon.

You see, not everyone in the U.K. is exactly thrilled with Prince Harry's choice of a

spouse and after her antics, this past Christmas holiday where she accused Princess Michael

of Kent of racism.

Now, those negative feelings have only grown stronger after a series of sexy photos of

Markle have appeared online that has Queen Elizabeth royally pissed and questioning if

she can ever be princess material.

Meghan Markle has not even been engaged to Prince Harry for an entire month and she is

already bringing shame to the Royal family.

Just a week after Markle created quite the scandal when she accused Princess Michael

of Kent of racism for wearing a "Blackmoor" brooch that the B-rated said she found "horrendously

racist" she is in hot water for raunchy photos found online.

The photos show the American actress scantily clad and in compromising positions that hardly

seem appropriate for someone entering the regal atmosphere of royalty.

These photos have angered many people throughout the country so much so that one woman in London

has started a petition begging the Queen and Prime Minister Theresa May to prevent Meghan

Markle from "having an official title or role in the Royal Family."

Following the General Synod Ruling of 2002, divorced people are allowed to be married

in the Church of England; however, they will have to receive permission from the Queen,

and possibly a special license from the Archbishop of Canterbury.

Here is more from BizPac Review:

An online petition gaining signatures says the Prince's fiancée, American actress

Meghan Markle, is "unsuitable" to be a member of the royal family.

The petition calls on Prime Minister Theresa May and Queen Elizabeth II to prevent Markle

from having an official title after the wedding.

"We the undersigned believe that Meghan Markle is unsuitable to be a member of the

Royal Family and to have an official position in representing this country," reads the

petition, which goes on to accuse the TV star of being disrespectful in public.

"She has shown her disrespect for the Monarch and Royal Family by pulling faces and sticking

her tongue out to the visitors during her first public appearance with the Queen.

Her attitude and actions in Nottingham shows her lack of respect towards Harry."

The petition also takes issue with Prince Harry's betrothed because she has appeared

on television with little clothing on.

"The fact that members of the Armed forces are resigning due to the fact they had naked

pictures of her in their barracks shows how little respect she will command.

"No member of the Royal Family should have naked images of them freely available on the

internet as she does.

Her constant sex simulation makes her a laughing stock and an embarrassment to this country."

The author of the petition, Louisa Pawsey, alleged Markle of infidelity in her previous

marriage.

"Her previous divorces and cheating on partners does not lend us to believe she will be faithful

to Harry," she wrote.

For many people who follow the Royal family, this reaction to Meghan Markle is in stark

contrast to how the people of England responded to Kate Middleton.

Both of these women are incredibly beautiful and come from modest backgrounds, but Kate

is widely accepted and loved, unlike Markle.

Middleton held herself with dignity and has kept her political views under wraps which

makes her more likable to people around the world.

Also, Middleton has embraced her role as a public figure and does what she can to ensure

that the monarchy is always presented with the utmost respect.

All of those traits are what makes Middleton a fan favorite and princess that the people

can adore, unlike Markle.

The online petition has gathered steam over the past week, and if Prince Harry were smart,

he would listen to everyone's concerns.

We have all been in love before, and there is often opposition from those that may be

considered jealous, but this isn't jealousy.

The British people and Harry's family have valid concerns about this relationship, and

until they are addressed, they will only grow.

Markle has a history of cheating on her romantic partners, a divorce, and her family has a

dirty past as well.

If anyone were to look at this logically they would say this relationship was a recipe for

disaster, and it appears they are all right.

Hopefully, Prince Harry will wake up and end this engagement before it publically implodes

and causes more drama for the royal family.

what do you think about this?

Muhammad's Message Insults God; Paul's Doesn't (PvM 25) - Duration: 4:56.

In John 8:44, Jesus calls Satan "the father of lies."

If Satan is "the father of lies," why does Islam try to convince us that Allah deceives

people for no reason and starts false religions?

Things that make you go, "Hmmmmmmm."

Muslims claim to have an impeccable theology.

But they believe in a God who deceives people for no reason (as when he tricked people into

believing that Jesus died on the cross), starts false religions (as when he accidentally helped

start Christianity by convincing a bunch of first-century Jews that Jesus had died on the cross),

and overthrows the work of his prophets (as when he corrupted Jesus' message

by turning it into a message about Jesus' work on the cross).

Allah deceives people, starts false religions, and overthrows the work of his prophets—

even though he calls himself "the Truth," promises to protect those who follow his prophets,

and boasts that no one can change his words (although, in his defense,

he does repeatedly call himself "the best of deceivers").

Allah sent Jesus with the Gospel, forgetting that he was just going to corrupt the Gospel

and allow it to be further corrupted by others, and that he would deceive Jesus' followers

and allow them to be further deceived by others.

If Islam is true, God is ignorant and deceptive, Jesus was irrelevant and incompetent,

and Jesus' followers were weak-willed and unreliable.

Islam is one massive insult to God.

As with so many of Islam's claims, we find superficial reverence, but deep blasphemy.

On the surface, Islam sounds like it promotes reverence for God.

But as soon as we dig a little deeper, we find blasphemous, incoherent nonsense.

This is exactly what we should expect from a false religion.

Reverence on the surface, blasphemy below the surface.

Superficial reverence, deep blasphemy.

Paul, by contrast, honors God.

The God of the Bible is perfect in His attributes.

According to Christianity, God's justice is perfect, so all sin must be punished.

If God let some sin slide, he wouldn't be perfect in his justice.

But God's love and mercy are also perfect, which means that he's vastly more loving than we are—

so much so that he's willing to take the punishment that we deserve upon himself.

God loves sinners so much that he entered into creation in order to pay the price for our sins.

As Jesus of Nazareth, he fulfilled his mission perfectly and suffered for our sake,

so that we could stand before God with the righteousness of Christ.

Jesus taught the good news—the Gospel—to his followers; he appeared to them

as their risen Lord; and he sent the Holy Spirit to fill them and empower them.

Those followers endured torture and death to preach the Gospel to people who were lost

and to make sure that the Gospel would reach us.

So, according to Paul, God was completely victorious; Jesus was completely victorious;

and Jesus' followers, by God's grace, were completely victorious.

Paul doesn't promote superficial reverence; he promotes deep reverence.

Jesus warned his followers that false prophets would come.

He also commanded us not to believe them.

One of the ways we can spot false prophets is by carefully discerning when their teachings

insult and demean God and diminish God's perfect attributes.

God is Truth, and God is Love.

Islam, when carefully examined, would have us believe otherwise.

Hi everyone.

Thanks for watching.

20 Signs You're an Unhealthy and Underdeveloped INFJ - Duration: 4:36.

20 Signs You're an Unhealthy and Underdeveloped INFJ

Despite being the rarest personality type in the world, and described as warm and caring

characteristics who solely think to the needs of others, INFJs certainly have a darker side

to be aware of, especially if they are an immature one.

If you're an INFJ personality type, then you must consider these things as it is really

beneficial to you to develop your inner self to becoming more healthy and balanced INFJ.

So, here are the lists of 20 signs you're an unhealthy and underdeveloped INFJ.

Before we jump to the lists, make sure to like this video and subscribe to our channel,

so you won't miss any of our interesting updates in the future.

#1 - When they let people to walk over them just because they don't want to disappoint

other people.

This is not a good attitude to do because it means they let other people to take advantage

from them.

#2 - When they take things so very personally.

This one might as well being described as "cold-hearted bastard" and "ice queen",

because if this things happen, you might as well just go away from their life before they

get their hands on you and enjoy watching you suffer.

#3 - One really annoying down side to INFJs is when they worry too much over little unimportant

things and then need to talk again and again when stressed.

If this things happen, you might need to calm down a bit to make things more calm.

#4 - When they bend over backwards just to make other people happy.

This is not a good tendency even though they are actually driven by their generosity when

doing it.

But in the end, it will make them unhappy and exhausted

#5 - When they continue doing unhealthy behaviors and using their personality type as excuse.

It's what makes them unable to change their lives for better and stuck with their boring

life instead

#6 - When they continue to refuse your reasoning or logic, no matter how good it is.

They still believe their ideas are the best, their arguments are literally boils down to

whether it is "good or bad", and it is right "just because."

#7 - When they are extremely passive, only reflecting, analyzing and sitting back being

natural observers.

These behaviors can actually lead them to taking wrong decisions

#8 - When they are really sensitive to criticism.

#9 - When they don't easily let anyone in as they are somehow private by nature.

Just because they are afraid to be judged, they will end up being depressed and lonely

#10 - When they close a part of themselves and not let you in, even though you are trustworthy

and know you don't have any ill intentions.

#11 - When they start believing that their personality type actually makes them superior

than other types just because they have the rare personality.

#12 - When they are too perfectionist and end up investing too much time in everything

including the things that actually are not very important.

In other words, they can get easily carried away.

#13 - When they get extremely down if some bad things happen to them, yet they literally

don't care when an injustice has been done to someone else.

Well, they might feel bad for a moment, but not do anything about it.

#14 - When they let toxic people run their lives just because they are mostly okay when

other people take advantage of them

#15 - When they hold grudges and get angry too easily.

This behavior can actually put their relationship with their loved ones in danger

#16 - When they are not able to justify their intuition, often time this will extends to

immediately disliking people for reasons that you'll never understand.

#17 - When they cannot say no because they are too afraid to let other people down fearing

others will hate them if they do that

#18 - When they focus more on other people's stuff then theirs because they let themselves

being distracted with other people emotions

#19 - And when they ignore the logical decision to make an emotional driven non-logical one.

#20 - When they don't speak out their emotions and keep all of it inside.

All in all, that's the 20 signs you're an unhealthy and underdeveloped INFJ.

Really cool information isn't it!

Benefits Of Holding Exchange Tokens | Kucoin Shares | Binance Coin - Duration: 6:13.

hi everyone welcome so first video or 2018 hope you all had a good New Year

today I'll talk about the benefits of holding exchange tokens or coins so on

obviously have a kucoin to clean and binance coin so they're both relatively

new exchanges just gotta keep you cool in which case yes let's keep on chairs

there at 3:55 today but the benefit of having these coins so yeah cue coins

went up to about three dollars it's 365 so it's nothing that it's high but the

idea of holding these coins are you obviously when you paid your markets

your Bitcoin aetherium promises a neo market us tear that the new case yes so

we using these exchange coins you actually if you swing trainning you're

actually saving your face pretty much and with cute coins is also if you're

holding you can you actually get it dividend every day and it's like

percentage it's not much obviously a start at the moment because they're not

three dollars fifty four but you get a yes you get it dividend every day so

that's how it works so slightly I suppose is like a rev share not it's not

really it's different but using a proper these are the problem market you know I

mean yeah it's not like something made up money so that's how that works

and seen get in there and usually you sign up and then obviously you're a boy

a tokens and then it so every time you do a swing trade instead of like getting

done the full fees like you really feel the training with Bitcoin or etherium

you actually didn't get it cheaper but please sir super brains are on there

and by its coins appoints comes pre up there but some point mr. Bowman or mr.

Popo on just says 850 at the moment I did get a hard about ten dollars on

yours coin okay yeah just keep it autumn the same thing on it so you can also see

what you're being be markets your theory market your terror markets so yeah

you're being be that's the same thing so like on be tricks I think it's like

point two five percent when you're doing the trading and on point it's like point

five percent so it's already a part time savings straight away and the same thing

it's yeah yeah sign up in two points and then when you do you jump into the

referral program and obviously it's only one level T so you get a little bit of a

cut and that's how it works so that's how you get on with that and that's all

go really today guys not short one sort of do an awesome short video for the

first year other than that if you not into our audio yet you check out the

private course that I'm in Osseo gold rush very good course and take a look

for yourselves have a good look and see if it's right for you if it's not it's

not if you if you only need to if you don't need to I see oh it's fine

but what you do you jump into exchanges like you coin or finance where most the

post is pretty much where they go Bonnie's it's definitely becoming pretty

pretty big on the new price Osseo is coming on because they're not charge as

much obviously you know it to be exchange these two exchanges they're not

charging as much but I can see it listed on the exchanges so there is that much

Launchpad may be so quick look yes he cuz I had to have the right

session so you saw had bread so bread was sorry a lot like that say it's how

to get bread anyway Nico but once it jumped on to pre or Co you're like you

know you could grab it pretty much on the launch pad but his bread was such a

kick-ass token dr. Garcia it ended so

quickly wasn't funny so you got if you're lucky and got some awesome you

continue it will bypass our CEO so and the obviously yet

then he place to get bread pretty sure his blinds maybe it's a poets and things

like Robbie said wabi-sabi Scouts I hate the Delta if you if you game after you

eat the dust what they put point in since the way to go so a lot of these

are CEOs I got onto financing Q crime and yet the sleeve of that so guys not

my video a thumbs up if you want subscribe hit the subscribe button

quickly learnt something today obviously this cute pointer actually

I'll go back to it it might only be like I said three dollars son the original is

right so you ain't get a progress unit percentage like a daily dividend

depending on what you're holding bigger and think if he's Queen ten times of the

stones everyday or debatable shoe roughly ten times as well so the next

you're saying goodness keep an eye at them on them both and try and get it

obviously bit lower getting you what you can you don't invite at all-time high

obviously either but these coins will grow over the next 12 to 18 months

because the fact that these two exchanges are going to grown massively

in 2029 simples up yeah and as exchange grows the coins going to grow so it's

gonna be another way another passive income definitely with a cue coin anyway

either daily percentage of depending on how much you're holding so just other

option or another avenue where you can earn every day for the next 365 days all

right so bro I don't know how easy a nice day

lunch and my parents because they seem last night and out of that I see on my

next video bye for now

good

good evening everyone may being Indian I call this an evening I see you still

refer to this as afternoon

so Paul was mentioning about Indian studies even for academic purposes I

would say you cannot study what you are referring to as India I'm not talking

about India as a nation but India as a net house what it represents it's not

something that you could study at the least you have to soak it in at the best

you have to dissolve into it there is no other way to know it because it does not

represent any particular ideology it does not represent any particular belief

system it is not a scripture it is not a particular God it is a complex

amalgamation of a million different doorways through which a human being can

attain to his ultimate potential this is what always the land that was referred

to as Bharat has always represented to the world the political entity of India

is a different different situation right now that's different but this is what it

represents let me in a limited time you can't explore India but as I said you

could soak it in it's not something that you understand it not it is not

something that you grasp it is just that it you have to soak it in it like your

brief

it is not because you understand that you have to take an oxygen and leave out

carbon dioxide your breath is happening that is just the understanding is a

consequence not the reason why your breathing's similarly this is just like

that because as inhaling oxygen and letting

out what we don't want is a certain level of life process what we are

referring to as India is another level of life process you have to just breathe

it in and soak it in if every cell in your body doesn't take the oxygen this

one live it is just like that if everything within you doesn't take

another dimension of life into you another dimension of life will not be

alive in you only the physical the psychological and the emotional will be

alive one will even deny that anything else exists because this is the nature

of human experience whatever it is not in your experience doesn't exist for you

right now I don't intend to insult the people who are up there but right now

let's say right up there there's a big gorilla sitting there just about to

pounce on you you are not aware of it it does not exist for you even if a

dinosaur is sitting there if you are not aware of it it doesn't exist for you

similarly anything that we are not conscious of it doesn't matter how big a

dimension it is how fundamental a dimension it is if we are not conscious

of it it will not exist for us in our experience our life is essentially what

we perceive and what we perceive right now is fundamentally limited to the five

sense organs what you see what you hear what you smell what you

tastes what you touch this is the life that you know this is the world that you

know this is the universe which is in your experience you could believe other

things but they are not a living reality for you belief systems can become very

strong what you believe in can become more real than the real in your

experience but that is purely a psychological experience what you

believe in and if you work hard enough on you we can make you believe in just

about anything you know that right from the day you were born if I went on

telling you my little finger is God if I raised this little finger divine

emotions will overflow within you genuinely not pretentious if it is too

bad for you I can dress it up just we have to decorate it a little bit then

you were willing to believe anything if you worked if you are worked upon hard

enough isn't it so what we believe it is of cultural significance of geographical

significance for certain areas of the world but it is of no existential

consequence you can believe whatever you want I you know he was just saying we

have a Center in Tennessee I was speaking in Nashville a few years ago I

was just telling them a joke in the joke I referred to God as him immediately a

few ladies stood up do you believe God is a man Oh

I know where it's going I was only telling you a joke it doesn't matter you

said him do you believe God is a man I said I was only telling you a joke it

doesn't matter so now there is an argument going around in certain parts

of America he's God a man or a woman in India we

have no such problems we have a man God we have a woman God we have a cow God we

have an elephant God we have a monkey we have a snake we have flying ones

crawling ones creeping ones every kind

because it's a very wise culture we foresaw all the future problems that may

arise

Idi Amin you heard of Idi Amin dog and Amin eat the Amin declare god is black I

agree with him if a white man can have a white court why can't a black man have a

black board this also is a big debate in some of the

further in churches is God white or black you've been trying to settle it

with elections but

but you people do not know whether God is white or black in India we know God

is brown because you know God never visited other parts of the world

he only sent his son or messengers in India God Himself landed nine times you

know this you know nine hour tops he landed in India himself nine times

always Indians are very proud of this to other parts he sent his son messenger

whatever but to India he himself came I keep reminding them that is because he

wanted to do the job hands-on with the Indians he will trust his son or

messenger and he came nine times and failed Indians are not easy people they

are not easy now difficult because they don't have a particular belief to hang

on to for everything they have an argument you can talk like this you can

talk like this you can talk from whichever direction this is not out of

confusion this is because this land opened up a million possibilities there

is no particular way to do it I think one person who paid the best possible

tribute to India was when Mark Twain visited India and spent almost three

months or so he said anything that can ever be done by either by God or man has

been done in this land now this is not about a particular geography this is not

about a particular people when you say East you are talking about

a certain kind of consciousness there could be Eastern people here there could

be Western people there to the east has become synonymous with consciousness

West has become synonymous with material success should these things to these two

things be opposing each other not at all evolving human consciousness and living

successfully in the world can go together and always been together

you must understand just about 225 years ago India was the largest economy in the

planet it amounted for almost 1/3 of the world's economy for political and other

reasons things have been uh gone bad that's a different thing but I'm saying

consciousness and living well on the outside need not clash with each other

it has nothing to do with each other how your outside and how your within

yourself are not connected so how your outside I will leave it to you how you

want to be on the outside I will leave it to you but how do you want to be on

the inside if you are given a choice how you want to be within yourself would you

like to be pleasant or unpleasant I want to hear that

now that you want to be pleasant what is pleasantness if you become

Pleasant in your body we call this help if you become very pleasant we call it

pleasure if you become Pleasant in your mind

we call this peace if you become very pleasant we call it joy if you become

Pleasant in your emotion we call this love

if you become very pleasant we call it compassion if you become Pleasant in

your very life energies we call this bliss

if you become very pleasant we call it ecstasy this is what you want within

yourself isn't it no I am NOT interested in all this I want to go to heaven why

because the advertisements have always said that heaven is a very pleasant

place if from your birth they had told you God lives in heaven but it's a

horrendous place do you want to go there no we will pray from here we don't want

to go there so whatever you may be doing whether you go to the temple or to the

bar you're still seeking pleasantness isn't it yes or no

hello if you if your surroundings become Pleasant we call this success so in what

way surroundings being Pleasant or opposed to inner pleasantness definitely

not there not against each other they go very well together there is no need to

have people to think if I have to be pleasant in the in word I have to see

generally this is this impression is coming come into the world that if you

are spiritual how you are determined whether you're spiritual or not is you

don't eat well you don't dress well you don't live well that means your

spiritual

if you do everything badly you must be spiritual this image has come because

they saw you'll be somewhere sitting blissed-out he never bothered about his

clothes his fellow clothes fell apart and he said they're probably naked

blistered simply because he was not concerned not because he chose to be

like that but now looking at him a lot of people are choosing to be like that

you are just a ping him you're not going to become like him

this happened in 1924 there was a bishop in the Greek Orthodox denomination

Greek Orthodox denominations generally they believe they are the only real

Christians rest are not they have their own Pope in Istanbul Istanbul being on

the Silk Route exotic stories from India waft across the Bosphorus very often so

for centuries these stories have been coming and this person has been wanting

to longing to go to India and see for himself he genuinely wants to meet a

mystic or a yogi but being a man of cloth he could not choose to go after he

was 60 when he was semi-retired he made it to India and someone took him down to

South India in southern India when he enquired somebody told him you go up

this mountain there is a yogi he will fulfill the prescription for you what

you're looking for so our men went up the mountain and as they had indicated

there was a man a yogi sitting there eyes closed blissed-out

so he went and they had told him if you go to if

you see a yogi you must prostrate but he was not built for that but managed to go

down scraping himself making noises and

hearing all this commotion the yogi opened his eyes and looked and smiled so

immediately the bishop asked can I ask you a question

yogi said by all means now the bishop asked a profound question of his life

what is life this is after 60 you should have asked this question at 8 or at

least a 16 what is life after 16 not bad you are asking some time in your life

the yogi smiled went into raptures and said life life is like the fragrance of

jasmine upon the gentle spring breeze

the bishop looked at him and said what life fragrance of jasmine upon the

gentle spring breeze our teacher told us life is like a tone once it gets into

you if you sit down it hurts if you stand up it hurts if you lie down it

hurts you are saying it is fragrance of jasmine upon gentle spring breeze the

yogi looked at him and said well that's his life

essentially the experience of life he is caused from wooden pain and pleasure

happens from within you joy and misery happened somebody near agony and ecstasy

happens from within you even light and darkness happens from within you what is

light for you is darkness for some other creature isn't it

what is darkness for them is light food it is the way you're responding to the

whole thing that it happens to you so if everything is caused from within you we

are not convinced about this okay do you see me it's a question do you see me use

your hands and point out where am I now you've got it wrong you know I'm a

mystic from South India now this light is falling upon me reflecting going

through your lenses inverted image in the retina do you know the whole story

so where do you see me right now within yourself where do you hear me right now

within yourself where have you seen the whole world within yourself have you

experienced anything outside of yourself have you nothing has ever happened to

you outside of yourself the whole universe has happened only within

yourself the way it happens within you is the way you know it you don't know it

the way it is you only know it the way it happens

within you it is all caused from within at least what is happening from within

you must happen the way you want it isn't it what is happening around you

there are too many people involved what's happening within you 100% must

happen the way you want it your joy and misery if there is a choice what's the

choice your agony and ecstasy if there is a choice what is the choice

pleasantness is the choice isn't it so why is it so much unpleasantness is

happening in human experience because we never took charge of the inner dimension

we believe by fixing the outside everything is going to be okay in the

last hundred hundred fifty years with the advent of science and modern

technology we have fixed too many things on the outside if you fix anymore there

won't be a planet left yes definitely this has brought much

convenience and comfort to our lives in every way we are the most comfortable

generation ever you agree with me I know you have series of complaints about how

things are not okay but we are the most comfortable generation ever before on

this planet isn't it so but we cannot say we are the most joyful generation on

the planet we are the most loving generation on the planet we are the most

blissed-out generation the plant definitely not we are complaining

complaining like crazy about everything like never before this is because we fix

the outside comfort inconvenience has happened well-being has not happened if

your interior tea was handled by you consciously you would definitely keep

this in a blissful state so is bliss the goal of life no bliss is a necessary

condition for life to flower to its full potential otherwise it will remain

constrained say if I happen to meet you when you are very happy I'm sure you are

a wonderful person yes or no but if I happen to meet you when you are

frustrated angry miserable you could be a nasty person isn't it yes or no is

this effect for everybody you know about 20% of our time resource and energies

are spent in the prisons in India and we also attempted something

here in the United States now our programs are mandatory in all the South

Indian prisoners people keep telling his head guru why are you spending so much

time with these criminals we don't even get to see you but you're spending time

in the prison I don't see any criminals what I see is everybody is in pursuit of

their happiness the man whom you call as a criminal is pursuing his happiness far

more vigorously than you yes in pursuit of your happiness you willing to stand

in a line and get what you want his longing for his happiness is so high and

vigorous he jumps the line that's all he's doing isn't it yes or no the only

thing that he is doing is he's jumping the line what you are willing to wait in

the line and get at the end of the month he wants to grab it in two minutes that

makes him a criminal isn't it but if you take this further back if you're in

pursuit of happiness I'm sorry this is in the Constitution if you're in pursuit

of happiness you are already a criminal because the moment you are in pursuit of

happiness suppose you're pursuing your happiness this way and I am pursuing my

happiness this way both of us meet out of civility out of etiquette you will

tell me please I will not budge then you would like to gently push me and go I

will not budge you would like to show me and go I will not budge then of course

you would like to shoot me and go yes if something or somebody is really blocking

your pursuit of happiness you want him to disappear somehow isn't it either

with a gun or a magic wand you want them to go yes or no no there was a depth

you want them to go isn't it if somebody is really blocking up your pursuit of

happiness do you want that person to vanish or no yes now their sense of

pursuing human consciousness is first thing is to shift your life from being

in pursuit of happiness to an expression of joyfulness how can I be joyful have

you met my mother-in-law did you see my neighbor did you meet my boss I have

seen all those people too many of them around me all the time they're all dead

but the way you're experiencing your life right now is 100% caused by you

they can only create outside situations but your inner situation is 100% yours

isn't it right now you're sitting here if you don't like what I am saying you

can sit here joke about it and still enjoy it this way or that way both ways

you are free either to be pleasant or unpleasant isn't it yes or no that is

true in every situation it doesn't matter where whether you are up on the

peak or down in the dumps still what's happening within you is 100% yours if

you take charge of this then you keep yourself this full now your life becomes

an expression of this blissfulness there is substantial medical and scientific

evidence that when you are feeling very pleasant when you are joyful and

blissful your body and your mind function at its best success in the

world is essentially determined by how well you can harness this physical body

and is the progress of the mind how successful you are in any sphere of life

is essentially determined by this most of the time you don't need an enemy

self-help he's doing great a lot of people have

read self-help books how to screw up my life yes they can right they don't need

anybody's help the book also they can write because they're experts I wanted

to just look back and say how many of you have at least had one 24-hour

segment in your life one single day where full 24 hours every moment of it

went blissfully not a moment of anxiety agitation irritation anger frustration

nothing simply blissfully twenty-four hours very few people on the whole

planet can raise their hands to this you need to understand this if one day did

not happen the way you want it understandable if not even one day

happen the way you want it something fundamentally wrong it's time to look at

it isn't it yes it is time to play pay close attention to this life why is it

happening the way it's happening without taking charge of the mechanics of how

life is happening within you you're trying to somehow blunder through the

world if 10 people clap their hands you're too happy but that never even

lasts for 24 hours at a stretch isn't it yes or no other people's recognition

other people's expression of love other people's gifts other people's whatever

doesn't even last for 24 hours at a stretch you went out today somebody told

you oh you are the most wonderful person on this planet and you were floating on

cloud what number oh you do only night in South India we do 11 whatever number

cloud you are floating and you came home and people at home told you who you

really are

it is crashes isn't it highest levels of happiness have you

seen how it crashes just like that because what is happening within you

you're trying to cause cause it with external stimuli all the time it is time

you take charge of this what you want to do in your life is up to you this much

every human being deserves that at least your experience of life upon this planet

is pleasant whether you climb Mount Everest or not

whether you're going to become the richest man in the world or not at least

this much every human being deserves that your experience of life is pleasant

and wonderful no matter what the hell is happening around you yes or no and this

is doable because here there is only one ingredient that's you you want to create

pleasantness in your happiness in your home we don't know 3-4 people are there

whether they're going to cooperate or not if you want to create pleasantness

in your city there are too many people we don't know whether they'll cooperate

or not if you want to create pleasantness in the world you know

nobody in this world happens 100% the way you want them

did your parents happen 100% the way you want them did they the children can say

it's okay

did your friends happen 100% the way you want them did your spouse or partners

happen 100% the way you want them not even your dog these days to do their

own things

nobody happens 100% the way you want them but that is not the problem the

problem is this one this one is not happening the way you want him to be

that is the problem isn't it if this one happened a hundred percent the way you

want him life around you whichever way it happens it's either a breather an

adventure yes it is either is him you know gently I mean the fragrance of the

jasmine on a gentle breeze or it's an adventure

there is no unpleasantness unpleasantness unpleasantness is

happening from within you never from outside of you know you don't know how

unpleasant my boss is no no he only causes at the most if he is he's causing

unpleasantness around you he cannot clock cause unpleasantness

within you isn't it this is your work this is completely your work isn't it

why would anybody cause unpleasantness to himself simply because we have chosen

to live and consciously just as a compulsive reaction to everything that's

happening around us for solutions we are looking into books we are looking into

all kinds of things we are always looking elsewhere never inward this

happened you know we're from Tennessee in Tennessee every family with some kind

of tradition has their own leather-bound large-sized Bible of their own they're

very proud of this it's so large you can barely open it at least children cannot

one day a school boy 12 years of age who is turning in

boarding school elsewhere came home and he found this huge book sitting there

and he opened it a few pages he opened a leaf which had been there in the book

for a long time it was dry it flew out and fell down then he called out loudly

mama come and see what I found she said what is it that you have found mama come

and see please come and see what you have what I have found

she said come tell me what have you found he said I think I found Adams

underwear

what is written there and how you perceive it is you even now even now how

we experience every situation is you what is happening around you and how you

experience is essentially you what is written there and what you make out of

it is essentially you just see in the name of caste creed religion race

nationalities how much form s we have created on the planet I'm sure every one

of these things initially started with the greatest intention of human

well-being definitely but just see what a mess we are simply because you can

find on other atoms underwear in a book you don't know what you will pick up so

there is a way where there is no room for misinterpretation that way is to

turn inward not to seek solutions outward for outward things you can seek

outward solutions for inner things you seek inner inner inner solutions turning

inward what does it mean right now as I lay a mentioned the only way you can

perceive is through five sin serpents seeing hearing smelling tasting touching

all these things are essentially outward bound see you can see what's around you

you cannot roll your eyeballs inward and scan yourself you can hear this but so

much activity in this body you cannot hear that if an ant crawls upon this

hand you can feel it so much blood flowing you cannot feel it in the very

nature of things sense organs are outward bad but everything that you

experience is happening from within this is the fundamental human predicament

only if you turn inward then you are into what you are referring to as India

studies otherwise India is a glorious chaos lot of Indians

miss it too much order in America once in a way they have to go out and get

lost and have a diarrhea at least yes of love if not enlightenment at least a

diarrhea you must eat the street food and

something must happen no no it need not be like that

it is just that it's very organic it is always depending upon touching the inner

genius within every human being it is not depending upon the organisation of

the outside which can be very chaotic for a person who has been born and

brought up in Western societies India could be bewildering and scary but you

will see Indian people are so much at home with the chaos because it's so

organic everything is happening because of the human being if one human being

stops being human for a moment everything collapses so you can't afford

to be mechanical about your life you have to be conscious otherwise you

cannot manage even simple things in home initially this was created consciously

over a period of time other things have happened unfortunate

Asian now this whole process of looking inward what does it mean can I can I

tell you my own story it's okay with you you becoming very serious it scares me

Shankaran Pillai came to United States he had an international driving licence

so he decided to take his car his son-in-law score out for a spin he's a

good driver if you have driven in India you better be a good driver otherwise

you're a dead driver

so very confidently he was driving then his wife called up on the phone and said

are you on i-75 he said yeah just watch out the traffic news is saying there is

a man driving at full speed in the opposite direction he said what the hell

one man hundreds of people are driving in the opposite direction but he's very

comfortable so what is turning inward me

this happened to me when I was just three four years of age suddenly one day

I realized I don't know anything I don't know anything means I don't know

anything at all if they give me a glass of water I do not know what is water eat

when I say I do not know what is water I know how to use it I know if I drink it

it will quench my thirst and so many other ways of using it but I do not know

what is water do you know what is water even today with all this scientific

exploration you must understand we have not understood a single atom in its

entirety we know how to use them but we do not know what it is even today it is

the only thing available in all the three states on the planet two-thirds of

the world the planet itself is water two-thirds of your body is water if you

want to look for life you look for water a drop of water means you think life is

possible so very basis of your existence on this planet but you do not know what

it is so they give me a glass of water I keep staring at this for 3-4 hours at a

stretch if I find a leaf I will stare at it five

six hours I sit up in my bed staring at the darkness for the whole

night My dear father being a physician started thinking I need psychiatric

evaluation

this boy is just tearing at something or the other

unblinking for hours on end he's lost it my problem is I look at this I do not

know what is this how to shift my attention to something else I'm just

talk to it paying attention to it in this condition they sent me to school I

went to school and my mother told me you must pay attention to the teacher I went

and paid attention the kind of attention they would have never received in their

life initially I understood the words that they were speaking after some time

I realized they're only making sounds I am the one who is making up the meanings

in my head even now see I am only making sounds because you presume you know

English language you are making up the meanings and language is a conspiracy

between two people yes suppose I start talking in a language that you do not

understand it will be just sounds even now I am only making sounds you are

making up the meanings and there is a codebook for this conspiracy called a

dictionary so I realize I'm making up all the meanings in my head and I

stopped making up the meanings just the sounds these teachers come and keep on

making sounds the problem with most people is the moment they cannot

understand they will not pay any attention please pay especially things

that you do not understand you must pay attention isn't it yes soon or what you

do not understand definitely needs your attention but generally the thing is the

moment you cannot understand you don't pay attention

turn on the Chinese channel just listen carefully with full

attention you will see things will happen to you so I just paid attention

not attaching any meanings to the sounds they were making after some time it

became so amusing these people going on making noises a big smile spread on my

face they were not amused at all I was very consistent with my education every

monthly test consistently I got six zeroes because I gave it empty because I

was made like this I come home in the evening evening study hours or two hours

in the evening you must study in the house if I open the book I stay like

this without reading a single word for the next two hours I will be just like

this all I need is just a dot on the paper just a tiny speck on the paper if

I put my attention to it the damn speck will take me somewhere I won't read a

single word nor will I look around nor will let me do anything simply after two

hours I'll be in the same speck I'm moving from that so my attention is like

this I'm paying attention to the teachers so you know I clearly remember

this when they every month they give this report card I don't know if you

still have it you still have that method of report cards when the report card

comes some children will be strutting around they are first second whatever

some will be crying they're terrified to go home because they got something in my

whole school days all those 12 years I never opened my report card the teachers

gave it to me I took it and gave it to my dad I thought this a transaction

between the two of them I never wanted to you know deep into

that and I never was retained in any class I always went on about four years

ago this school where I studied over four decades ago they came to invite me

for their one hundred and twenty-fifth anniversary of the school they were

inviting all the prominent eleven I they came to invite me

I said say please why me I was not just a not good student I was not even a

student don't don't take me back to the school they said no no our school has

produced federal ministers our school has produced film stars our school is

produce cricketing stars you are the only mistake you have to come I said ok

and I went I stood up to speak in this quadrangle the same oppressive buildings

I just look like this I suddenly saw this classroom and this whole situation

came back to me I was about 12 years of age as usual I am paying absolute

attention to the teachers I know the teachers past present and future but I

don't hear a word of what they're talking so that particular afternoon

this teacher is trying to get some response from me but I am these are

times when four three four five days I would not do a single word

because when you don't know anything what do you say what is there to say you

know nothing if you look at a leaf you don't understand that in entirety if you

look at anything you don't understand in its fullness so there is nothing to say

he tried thirty five forty minutes trying to get some response nothing came

out of me I was paying full attention to him

he came help me by the shoulder shook me violently and said you must either be

the divine or the devil I think you are the later till now till that moment my

problem was what is this what is that what is that what is that

but there was one clarity that this is me suddenly this man confused me about

this also I looked Am I devil am i divine what the hell am i

this was very clear that this was me but this man brought this confusion about

this also I tried to stare at myself it didn't work so I closed my eyes and sat

initially hours then it went into days once I close my eyes and sat I thought

in my experience I felt it's about 25-30 minutes when I open my eyes a whole

crowd of people around me Garland's around my neck people are trying to pull

my feet you know pulling legs is a part of Indian tradition and somebody wants

to know about his business somebody wants to know when his daughters will

get married I said how the hell did these people

manifest here where did they come from big crowd they said you have been

sitting here for 13 days in my experience I just sat there for 25-30

minutes I closed my eyes and I opened my eyes a big crowd why I'm telling you

this is life is in many more ways than the way you understand an experience

life through the five senses the five sense organs or enough for your survival

if you want to just survive these five things are fine but if you want to know

life these five sense organs are not good enough because this gives you only

a comparative perspective of everything what you know by comparison say you know

light only cause you know darkness isn't it the

nature of sense organs is such if you see this part of my hand you cannot see

the other part of my hand even if you take a grain of sand if you see one part

you can't see that the part if you're experiencing light you cannot experience

the darkness this is the nature of sense organs and everything is in comparison

for example let's say you're six feet tall now you stand like a tall man you

walk like a stall man you think like a tall man you feel like a tall man and

you are a tall man suppose you antenna he went to another society where

everybody's 8 feet tall now you stand like a short man walk like a short man

think like a short man feel like a short man and you are a short man so what you

know in comparison is only useful so survival in a particular situation it is

not a way of knowing life there are the dimensions of perception which a human

being has to activate you need to understand what is needed for survival

became active the moment you came out of your mother's womb all these things

became active you need to understand they were not active when you were in

your mother's womb otherwise you would know the whole human

physiology you didn't have to go to your medical school you know your eyes were

not open your perception was not open only after you came out it opened up

because without it you cannot survive if survival is all you seeking this is fine

but once you come as human somehow survival is not good enough isn't it

when survival is in question it's a big issue once it's taken care of it doesn't

mean anything isn't it so there is something within

you always longing for something more whoever you may be right now whatever

you may be right now you want to be something more than who you are right

now yes or no if that something more happens what what

you want something more if that something more happens what something

more it looks like you're looking for expansion okay we will make you the king

or queen of this planet now don't look at me hopefully you think I'll make such

a blunder suppose you become the king or queen of this planet

will you be fulfilled I am asking you you will look at the Stars

isn't it so there is something within you which wants to expand I am asking

how much expansion would settle you for good

how much expansion would settle you for good hello unlimited you're looking for

infinite expansion a fantastic desire but a hopeless method you're longing to

become boundless is wonderful see there is something within you which does not

like boundaries suppose i imprison you in a 5x5 cubicle right now you will feel

horribly imprisoned tomorrow we will liberate you into your ten by ten

cubicle you will feel wonderful for a day and again the same thing then we

will liberate you into 100 by 100 cubicle you will feel wonderful for

three days and again the same thing it doesn't matter where I set the boundary

the moment you can feel the boundary you want to break it yes there is something

within you which does not like boundaries there is something within you

constantly longing to become boundless you may be trying to settle this either

unconsciously or consciously if you are trying to settle it unconsciously you

think going out shopping will settle it it does first up for a moment again

tomorrow the same thing or reading a book will settle it or conquering and

something will settle it all this thing's settles you for some time and

again the same thing the moment you can feel the boundary again it's a problem

isn't it there is something with you longing to become boundless you will

need to understand this boundaries are essentially the nature of the physical

the physical exists in this universe the physical exists in creation only because

of defined boundaries I can call this a physical body only because there is a

defined boundary if I take away the boundaries of this body could you call

this physical if it is all over the place would it be physical only because

it stays within within a defined boundary its physical boundary is the

nature of physical existence there is something within you longing to go

beyond all boundaries so if you touch a dimension within you which is not

physical in nature only then this will settle is there such a thing

well let's understand this when you were born your body was only this much now

it's become this much how did it happen

how did it happen the food that you've eaten isn't it the

food that you've eaten so what you call as my body is a heap of food actually or

it's a piece of this planet physical is something that you've gathered over a

period of time yes physical is an accumulation what you

accumulate at the most you can claim it is mine it cannot be you isn't it it can

be yours it can never ever be you it can be mine it can never ever be me isn't it

what you gather can belong to you cannot become you but right now you are so

identified with things that you have gathered not only in the body in the

mind your mind is a heap of impressions that you've gathered your mind is a

gathering your body is a gathering both are accumulations between these two

things where are you a dimension beyond the physical which is the basis of all

this if you eat a piece of bread it transforms it into such a fantastic

machine that we call as human mechanism this human body is the most

sophisticated technology on the planet do you agree with me the iPhone users I

am asking you

because I see you so deeply engrossed in it you seem to think it's more than I

now this is the highest level of technology found on the planet

everything else is a small imitation of this isn't it and with what are you

manufacturing this with a piece of bread with the carrot with an apple with

whatever you eat just about anything that you eat even if you eat the so

called junk food even that is becoming wonderful technology so there is an

intelligence here there is a competence here which is capable of transforming a

piece of bread into such a highly sophisticated machine if only if you had

access to this intelligence consciously you would live your life magically not

miserably for sure so how often do you touch this every human being touches it

at some moment in his life if you can consciously touch it definitely you

would stay in touch with it isn't it if you accidentally touch it then it

happens accidentally most beautiful moments in people's lives unfortunately

are generally accidental people come until Satguru I met such a wonderful

person as a staff why are you not that wonderful person why is it that you

meeting such wonderful people if you are feeling absolutely wonderful anything

that you look at looks wonderful isn't it yes or no have you noticed this when

you are happy you appreciate everything when you're miserable everything is a

whole creation is a rubbish yes or no so this possibility is not in the Himalayan

cave this possibility is not geographically located in India this

possibility is here with every one of us whether we turn

inward or we find our squander our life outward that's all the choice you have

because the experience of life the quality of your life is right now

determined not by what kind of clothes you wear what kind of car you parked

outside what kind of home you live in this moment what is the nature of your

experience is it immensely pleasant or unpleasant or see-sawing between the two

that determines the quality of your life

if you if you have any questions is that a lot I'm sorry are there questions or I

think I've stopped right on time

just

please take the microphone

Satguru thank you for being here again in Atlanta

it's a pleasure back then just by accident I run into one of your inner

engineering programs when it was in a small scale and he really touched me in

a way that it transformed my life and made this trip from far away from

Argentina worthwhile and I would love for everybody to have that experience

even if it's a single moment my question to you is so wonderful everything that

comes from you and yet how not to miss the immensity of what has been offered

thank you

say the biggest mistake that the larger part of humanity has made is they think

all the great things are up there somewhere when actually you're not even

capable of knowing which is up and down you you you know the planet is round yes

you're sitting in a round planet not even on the North Pole

you're Argentina being in the southern hemisphere you should have fallen off

long time ago at least we got a foothold up here and the damn thing is spinning

on top of it so if you look up you're invariably looking up in the wrong

direction yes are you capable of knowing in this

cosmos which is up and which is down is it somewhere mark this side up are you

capable of knowing I'm asking you you you are incapable of knowing what is up

and down no such thing exists for convenience we will make this up we'll

make this down for understanding between you and me but in reality you really do

not know which is up and down which is forward and backward which is east and

which is west we made up all these things yes or no only for communication

and understanding between us it is not a reality so great things are not up there

if you want to do fantastic things to yourself

you don't have to do some feat simple things you just have to learn how to sit

first of all sitting is not a simple thing you have to learn how to breathe

how to hold this body because as I said this is the most sophisticated machine

on the planet every little thing that you do he does its own things we can do

a live shall we do a little experiment with you

after all it's a university we can experiment with you just do one thing

take these two hands keep all the five fingers together

please sit facing down upon your lap upon your time all the five fingers

should be together all fine don't do it yet just watch me you will do this with

eyes closed just breathing slightly deeper than normal just as you normal

breath slightly deeper slightly exaggerated so that you will notice it

and as you're doing it I will say switch when I say switch without breaking the

rhythm of your breathing just turn this over this way continue to breathe when I

say switch again get back here in these two positions of the hand something

about your breath will change you must notice how the air fills up into your

lung or where is the maximum expansion and contraction just notice this

something about your breath will change and you must tell me what changed okay

for you to notice this for you to be able to notice this one thing is your

spine should be erect that's not possible if you've been

trained to sit on the American cushions you can only sit like this I like this

chair I think the chapel is making sure everybody's awake here and your spine

should be erect your eyes should be closed your mind should be focused on

the breath if you do these three things you'll distinctly notice this all five

fingers together close your eyes breathe slightly deeper than normal and notice

where the maximum expansion and contraction is

switch

switch again

which is open your eyes there's some difference between the two

can somebody tell me when it's this way where is it this way just the reverse is

happening when you hold it this way the maximum expansion and contraction is

happening in the lower lobe of the lung so you will notice it in the diaphragm

region if you turn it around it moves into the middle lobe of the lung so you

will notice higher up in the chest just to one breath and see it is noticeable

is it so so just turning your hand over the very

way you breathe is altering itself it's not just about the breath the very way

the fundamental life energies are functioning is altering itself simply

because you turn your hand over how many times in a day unconsciously are you

doing this whatever anybody ask in India this means no no no no no no now you're

setting your energies into turmoil and hoping to be peaceful life doesn't work

like that unless you do the right things right

things will not happen to you now what is being referred to as inner

engineering or what is largely known as yoga when I use the word yoga I hesitate

and avoid using this word in United States because yoga means they think

something Zumba and some gymnastic stuff

like we get in India we get all your be great and see great movies just like

that you get some things like that from India now one dimension of yoga is like

if you remember in 60s and 70s when the television came first on top of your

home there would be an aluminum contraption now it's become much more

sophisticated otherwise there would be a live

tubes hanging like this you are just watching your favorite program suddenly

your television goes boop boop boop then you run up on the terrace and pull it

like this it won't work pull it like that it won't work you get it there

properly suddenly the whole world pours into your sitting room this is called an

antenna this you are who you are you know that you exist only because you

perceive yes sir they suppose you're sitting here and you fell asleep for

sure I will disappear I am the first one if you go a little more like that

everybody will disappear if you really get hung even you disappear in your

experience the existence is obliterated isn't it you need to understand you even

know that you exist only because you're perceiving so what you perceive is what

you have become there's also other nuances to that how

you perceived what you made out of it but essentially what you perceived is

what you have become if your perception is gone it's gone your life is gone

isn't it now perception how to enhance the perception

should be the only goal because if you enhance your perception your life will

enhance itself how profoundly do you perceive this life so this system is a

phenomenal thing if you learn to sit right if you just adjust it right now

you can download the whole cosmos into this you heard of the concept called the

third eye why the third eye is so important is these two eyes or sense

perceptions almost 30 to 35 percent of your vision is by memory do you know

this if you had no memory you would not be able to see a lot of things

these two eyes have passed hanging in them they are always blurred by the past

if you look at this what looks nice what doesn't look nice what looks right what

doesn't look wrong what looks wrong what is okay what is not okay what is

beautiful what is not beautiful everything is by memory if your memory

is taken taken away these two eyes become half blind at least one-third

line for sure so in these two eyes fast is always hanging that's why we say and

you see something like this okay that's your karma that you are doing that's

your memory bank which is doing this a third eye is that which has not invested

in memory which is simply seeing things as they are this doesn't mean you have

to crack your forehead okay it is not a physical art it is not subject to the

memory bank that you have gathered simply seeing everything the way it is

your ability to handle life well simply depends on how clearly you see it isn't

it yes or no right now you cannot see anything clearly because 35% of the

actual physical vision he is dependent upon the memory that you have but

gathering strong prejudices gathering strong emotional identifications your

ability to see is gone almost 90 percent not even 10 percent of life people see

the way it is they see it the way they think it is that means you are existing

in a psychological reality not in an existential reality what that means is

you are just lost in your own creation you have no contact with the creator's

creation if you experienced the creation the way it is it is the most phenomenal

thing they cannot be anything more and we need not be anything more because

it's if you spend a million years to still configure the sophistication

and the intricacy of what it is but people are bored when when you can't

figure an atom in a lifetime or ten lifetimes you can't figure one atom

people are bored because they're lost in their own petty creation they are

existing in their own psychological creations psychological existence not in

the real existence life is here what's in your mind is madness isn't it it's

time you step down into the creator's creation I am saying step down because

your creation is higher of course

otherwise why would you do it well there so it's time every human being dedicated

a little bit of time towards this it's being offered in Atlanta if you wish to

take it otherwise in your own home if you want to do there are tools being

given out because of the generosity of a few people that these things are

available or it's available online to start with but every human being should

start the process of turning inward otherwise when moment of death comes all

you will have is belief systems to hang on to and everything that you believe

everything that you think matters to you right now will not matter to you if the

next moment is death and I'm sorry to remind you but anyway you will die it's

not my wish I will bless you with a long life but anyway you will die

is it okay you need to understand this is the fundamental of turning inward

that you realize that your motto you realize that you have come with an

expiry date you realize you're racing towards it if you remind yourself of

this how can you not look at life more profoundly how can you only because you

think you are here forever you can forget about it it doesn't

matter what you think you think you come to the top you think you're going to go

home you think you're going to this place of that place

but as far as your body is concerned it is walking straight to the grave yes or

no you think so many things this is all your nonsense but the reality is your

body is walking straight to the grave not missing the step yes or no will

bless you with a long life but if you understand and if you constantly

conscious that I am mortal there is no way you cannot look at

deeper dimensions of life you naturally will thank you very much

FAVORITE BOOKS OF 2017 | xreadingsolacex [CC] - Duration: 28:16.

Hello you gorgeous individuals, it's Kav here and today I'm going to be

discussing my top 17 favorite books of 2017. In 2017, I have read 53

books and if I finish my current read before Sunday, I will have read 54 books

and as my goal was 50 books, I think that that is a wonderful number for me to

have read. I am very happy with my reading year this year. It has easily

been my best reading year ever - not just in terms of numbers because I think that

2017 has also been my best reading year content wise as well. Outside of

books I read for school, I have only rated two books this year one or two stars and

they were the only two books that I didn't enjoy that I've read this year

The majority of all the rest of my books have gotten four or five star ratings, so

I am extremely pleased with how this reading year has been for me and I

genuinely think that that is due to the fact that I started reading diversely

this year. It was easily the best reading decision I have ever made and I am so

excited to see what 2018 brings for me reading wise, but before that, let's get

into my top 17 of 2017.

Coming in at number 17 is We Are Okay by Nina LaCour. This is a brilliant novel - I

gave it 5 out of 5 stars and I have a full spoiler free review of it up,

so I will link that either up there or down there for you to check out if you

would so be interested. Essentially, I loved this novel with all of my heart. I

do want to give a content warning for grief and loss if you do plan to read

this novel, but if you can handle those themes I highly, highly, highly recommend

reading this one. This novel features a main character from a latinx family

and it has a past female by female romance, so it's on par with my goal of

diversely reading, but it's also wonderful in so many other ways. Whereas

the theme of this novel is so sad, the author manages to balance it out with

her talent for writing because the writing in this novel is just so

beautiful and the way it's woven together with the theme and with the

characters and with the plot is just done so well. I don't really like going

into too much detail with what this novel is about because I think it's

better to experience it for yourself. The biggest thing I can say about it is that

the cover of this novel is absolutely gorgeous, but if you read it you will

find the inside is even more gorgeous than the outside. At number 16 I have

How to Make a Wish by Ashley Herring Blake. I have a full spoiler review of

it up, so I will link that either up there or down there if you would like to check

that out, but, essentially, How to Make a Wish

is a novel featuring a female by female romance and the love interest is a love

interest of color. And the main character comes from not the best family - her

relationship with her mom is very hard to explain. I interpreted the mom to be

abusive, so definitely content warning for that. I'm not sure if that's exactly

what you would call her, but when I was reading it that's how I interpreted it.

It kind of deals with the relationship the main character has with her mom and

then the relationship she starts to begin with this girl in her life. I think

there are so many aspects of it that are so important. It's a contemporary

novel that manages to tackle these hard topics, but as I said, I do want to

give a content warning for the main character's relationship with her mother.

I also want to give a content warning about the fact that the love interest

recently lost her mother and that is also a prevalent theme in this novel, so

if either of those are hard for you to read - it might not be the best option

for you to go into this novel, but I can say that I read this novel and I

can tell that Ashley has a lot of talent in her writing, so she has two new novels

coming out next year and if you can't pick up this one, I would consider

picking up one of those two because I am certain that they are going to be just

as good if not better than this one. The next book on my list is Like Water

by Rebecca Podos and this is a book that I literally just read. I finished it

about two days ago and it managed to bump off another book off my list

because of how much I absolutely loved it. I read Like Water as the group book

for a Prideathon in December. For those of you who don't know, I am a host of prideathon

and this was actually my suggestion for the group book and I was a little

bit nervous about choosing it because whereas I love Rebecca - I think she is a

lovely person and I was certain that this novel would be wonderful - I knew

that it was also not one that was very popular in the community. I wasn't sure

exactly what it would be like to go into it because I didn't know much other than

the fact that it had a latinx main character who was also bisexual, but all

I can say is that this book is an underrated masterpiece. I have not seen

this talked about anywhere on booktube and I'm so unsure as to why because it

is a masterpiece. I enjoyed this novel so, so, so much. It

was absolutely beautiful - I gave it 5 out of 5 stars and I have a full goodreads review

that details more of what I liked about it, but it's really hard for me to form

it into words because there was just nothing lacking in this novel. Everything

the author put into this novel constructed a beautiful story and

constructed a beautiful journey. I would definitely label this novel as more of a

coming-of-age story about the main character. And as I stated she is latinx

and she is bisexual. Her dad has Huntington's disease and she is

currently struggling with whether or not she should be tested to find out if she

has it or if she should just live her life not knowing. That's a real struggle

for her and she's kind of trapped in this small town. Part of the trap that

she feels is because of this being placed on her because now she has to

make this life-changing decision that will essentially tell her whether or not

she will have a healthy life unlike her father who is suffering from this

disease. She also has to be there for him because she has to be there for both her

parents considering they are dealing with this. The love interest has just

moved from Boston to the small town and she is very upset about that, it is

something that she does not want at all. As well as the relationship the main

character has with her family, the love interest has a wonderful relationship

with her brother and I think that the familial relationships and even the

friendships and just the relationships in this novel are probably it's

biggest strongsuit. The author has a way of just writing beautiful relationships

and if you go into this novel for anything, I think it should be for that.

Coming in at number 14 is Girls Made of Snow and Glass by Melissa Bashardoust. I

read this in October with BookBoundSociety which I am also a host of if you

did not know, so I will leave links to that and Prideathon in the description

below, so that you can check out these two wonderful groups. Girls Made of Snow

and Glass is a feminist, female by female, Snow White retelling and all of those

words sound amazing, but you might be wondering - does this book actually live

up to it? It does. I was kind of nervous going into it because it did have all

these words that I was so interested in - I love feminism, I

a female by female romance, and I love fairytale retellings, so I was really

concerned as to whether or not it would live up to these labels, but it did and

it was more than that. The feminism of this novel is probably one of the most

prevalent aspects of it. The female by female romance is not as prominent, but I

think that the way it was done was done very well and I was really pleased with

how it was done, but as I was saying, the feminism of this novel is so prevalent

because we have two strong main characters and both of these women were

just so inspirational and iconic in very different ways. 'Cause Mina was kind of

strong in the literal sense - in the more badass sense, but Lynette was more strong

in her silent defiance. To clarify, Mina is the one who essentially represents

the Evil Queen and Lynette represents Snow White and we get to see Mina both

in the past and the present as she is the older one and then we get to see

Lynette as how she is now and I think that seeing the journey of these two women

was just really wonderfully done and I highly, highly recommend this novel. I

think that like Like Water, it is also underrated, so I would love to see more

people picking it up. Next up, I have yet another relatively recent favorite which

is Dear Martin by Nic Stone. I read this in November with Book

BoundSociety and you will tell that many of my favorites come from this

group. Dear Martin is a masterpiece. We have had two brilliant books about the

Black Lives Matter movement come out this year and Dear Martin is one of them.

Dear Martin features a main character, Justyce, who is black and essentially he

starts dealing with racism, so he starts writing letters to Martin Luther King

Jr. He essentially asks him how he should be dealing with this and he talks

about, in the novel, how he kind of wants to emulate Martin Luther King jr. and how

he wants to be like him in battling racism, but he doesn't necessarily know

if he can do that. This novel is so good. I read it in like two hours, I think,

because it was just a masterpiece. I think that it brings to light

so many issues that we like to look over in our privilege and such. And even

though I am a person of color - I don't know what it's like to be a black person

of color and I don't know what it's like to face police brutality the way black

people have - especially considering I live in California which is a much more

liberal place than many others in The United States. That's not to say that

there is no racism here there is, but it's definitely better than in a lot of

places and I have been fortunate enough that I have never had to encounter a

situation like police brutality. Many people are not lucky enough to deal with

that. Like I said, we like to kind of look over that or look beyond that because

it's more comfortable for us and it feels safer for us, but that's not fair

to all the people who have to deal with this on a daily basis and the people who

just can't live their lives properly because of their skin color and no one

deserves to feel that way and I think that this novel really brings to light

how important it is that we talk about these issues because they are such

important issues and I think another important part about this novel is that

it gives a platform to someone who should actually be speaking about these

issues - a black woman - because she obviously

knows a lot more about it than someone like me, who is not a black woman, does.

There are just so many important topics in this novel and I highly, highly

recommend that you read it because I think that this is one of the most

important novels that came out this year. And now, at number 12, continuing with

this discussion of the Black Lives Matter movement,

I have The Hate U Give by Angie Thomas. This is the most important book that

came out this year without a doubt. It talks about the importance of the Black

Lives Matter movement and it's about a main character named Starr who watches

her best friend get killed and then she starts fighting for the Black Lives

Matter movement and she essentially starts fighting for black people, but I

think one of the most important parts about this novel is that it showcases

different types of racism. It showcases racism that comes straight from a

policeman killing someone because of their skin color, but also showcases

racism she faces at her own school being one of two black kids who goes there and it

showcases the little microaggressions that matter because microaggressions do

matter. I think that, like Dear Martin, it is just so important and these two

novels are by far the two most important novels that came out this year because

they discussed these issues that like I said, we like to look over, but we can't

keep looking over because we're looking over it at the cost of an entire group

of people for the sake of our comfort. That's not right. And now, on a much

lighter note, I have Girl Out of Water by Laura Silverman at number 11. I read this

book back in July during the summer and I can tell you that reading this book

during the summer was one of the best decisions I could have made. This book is

just the perfect summer contemporary read. It's essentially about a

Californian surfer on her last summer before she has to move for college and

all her friends are going to move, but she can't stay with them over the summer

because she has to travel with her dad as her aunt was just in an accident, so

she and her dad are going to go help take care of her aunt and her aunt's

family. While she is there, she learns to skateboard with this other character. He

essentially becomes the love interest of the novel - it is very obvious, but it is

very cute and the love interest is black and disabled, so this novel also

definitely has some diversity in it as well. I think that it's just a wonderful

novel to read. It, again, tackles some hard topics, but it's also a much fluffier,

lighter contemporary. I would suggest picking this novel up, but then waiting

for summer of 2018 to read it if you haven't yet because reading it in

summer is the best decision you can make - it just fits the aesthetic of that

season. And now at number 10 I have a book by one of my favorite authors of

all-time - Release by Patrick Ness. I love Patrick Ness' work. I read A Monster

Calls back in 2015. I really thought that book was a one-off and it was just kind

of a one-hit wonder, but then I read The Rest of us Just Live Here and then I

read Release and I realized that Patrick Ness is an incredibly talented writer.

I read Release as the October group book for Prideathon and I am so glad we

chose this book because I think that it is such an important read. I do want to

give a huge content warning because the main character is a gay character who

lives in an anti-gay family, so it deals heavily with anti-gay rhetoric and if

that's something that will be hurtful to you, then definitely don't pick up this

novel, but if it's something that you can read it's an important read. Patrick

himself is gay, so this is ownvoices representation. The topic of religion is

also discussed heavily in this novel because the main character's family is

Christian and his father is a preacher. And it also discusses sexual harassment

against males which I think is another important topic that we have a tendency

to look over. Again, a content warning for that if it's something that will trigger

you in any way, but if you can deal with it, like I said, I think this is an

important read. Possibly the best part of this novel is that it normalizes male by

male sex which is something I don't think I have ever seen in a YA novel

before and I definitely think this is the most adult of Patrick's work because

of the emphasis it has on sex, but I also think that the fact that it

normalizes male by sex is so important because queer sex

education is rarely taught and whereas this is definitely not a lesson in it,

it might at least give some people who might be having male by male sex some

thing to go off of because like I said, queer sex education is rarely talked

about and it is a topic that needs more discussion and I hope that books like

this will bring those topics to light. At number 9, I have 27 Hours by Tristina Wright.

I will link my full review of this novel either up there or down there if you

would like to check the whole thing out. I know that there has been a lot of

controversy surrounding the race representation in this novel and I think

that the hurt people face is valid - the hurt you face is always valid and no one

should ever be allowed to invalidate it, but when I read this novel, I really

enjoyed it and that was a personal thing. Whereas this doesn't make up for any

issues it has what the race rep, it does have very good queer representation and

disability representation, so I think that those are also two aspects of the

novel to be complimented while we also discuss how it can be improved in terms

of its race representation. 27 Hours is a sci-fi novel about five teens who

essentially save the world because teens are obviously smarter than adults. Like I

said, it has a lot of representation in it. I really enjoyed how it was done and

one of my favorite parts of the representation was the ace character

Braeden. I know that he fell into a lot of stereotypes, but I also think it's unfair

to say that there should be characters who don't necessarily fall into stereotypes

because I know a lot of people who do fit them, so I think that we need to have

a wide variety of representation that battle stereotypes, but also a few that

fit kind of 'good' stereotypes. For example, I don't think there's anything

wrong in Braeden's character, I think it's just that he fits into the stereotypical

ace character. In a lot of ways, as an asexual person, I do the same thing, so it

was one of the first forms of asexual representation that I could

really resonate with and I was just glad to see an ace character making ace puns

because I do those all the time and people act like they're weird, but it's

just a part of what I do. And now, at number 8, I have Little & Lion by

Brandy Colbert. I read this as the September group book for BookBound

Society and I absolutely fell in love with it. This novel has so many good

qualities to it I don't really even know where to begin, but I guess we can start

with the representation because that is done so well in this novel. The main

character is black and bisexual and her brother has bipolar disorder and this

novel also has religious diversity if that is something that you look for, so

there are just so many aspects of this novel that are done so well, so I highly

recommend it. I really don't even know how to express how I feel about this

novel because everything about it is done so well. It deals with racial

microaggressions. It deals with the main character's brother being bipolar and how

that affects both him and his family and just the entire journey he has to go through.

He is not diagnosed during this book, he's diagnosed before it, but it's still

relatively new to his family, so they are still kind of learning how to deal with

it. It discusses important familial relationships - I love the familial

relationships of this novel, it was done so well - it, like, showed an actual happy

family and there was a good relationship between the main character and her

brother. Of course, they had fights and they argued, especially considering the

tension going on with this recent diagnosis and such, but they still loved

each other and they were so close and I think that healthy sibling relationships

really need to be portrayed more in YA, so I'm glad that this one was

showcased. I can easily say that because of this novel, I will be supporting all

of Brandy's future work because if it's even half as good as this, it will be

brilliant. At number 7, I have The Upside of Unrequited by Becky

Albertalli. I have said this a million times, but

Becky is one of my favorite authors and one of my favorite people. She is a

brilliant writer and an even more brilliant woman. The Upside of Unrequited

features a fat main character from a Jewish family with two moms.

That's some diversity. I know that it has a pansexual side character which is

representation that is rarely seen, so that's another reason to pick it up. The

fat representation and the Jewish representation is ownvoices and I think

that the fat representation is crucial to this novel. Something else that's

crucial to this novel is that the main character emphasizes that you can love

yourself and still want to be in a relationship - the two are not mutually

exclusive and a lot of times people act as though they are, but this novel

basically debunks that ideology because that ideology is false. She does a good

job talking about what it's like to have fears as a fat person when it comes to

romantic relationships. Obviously I can't comment on those myself at this moment,

but I have had a rocky history with body image and with weight, so from my history

and from my personal journey, I can say that I thought the representation in

this novel was done well, but as I am not currently fat, you definitely want to

look at ownvoices reviewers if you really want to be certain about the

representation, but from where I stood, knowing that this was ownvoices

representation and from my own journey, I can say that I thought this novel was

done so brilliantly well. Becky is the queen of writing cute contemporaries, so

if you are looking for something that is cute and fluffy, pick this one up

because it is the cutest and the contemporariest and the fluffiest. And now

at number 6, I have a novel that I don't talk about nearly enough on my

channel - Saints and Misfits by S.K. Ali. I read this book back in July with

BookBoundSociety. I adored it with everything in me. I finished this novel

in like two sittings or three settings because I loved it so, so, so, so much.

This novel features a hijabi Muslim main character who is a survivor of sexual

assault, so content warning for the fact that this novel deals with sexual assault and

if that's something that triggers you in any way, it might be best to stay away

from this novel, but I think that the way it was discussed was done so

well and I adored this novel. And I also know that this novel is ownvoices for

its Muslim representation. I think that that's one of the best parts about this

novel because I gained so much education from it and I think it's wonderful when

authors are willing to use their novels to provide this type of education. Of

course, they don't owe anyone that, but when they do decide to use it that way I

think it's a wonderful use of their platform. I am just so glad I chose to read

this novel and I cannot recommend it enough. All I can tell you is that you

have to read it if you can because it is a masterpiece. And now, at number 5, I

have a novel by one of my favorite authors and favorite people - Queens of

Geek by Jen Wilde. I love this novel so much. I have a full spoiler free review

of it up, so I'll link that either up there or down there if you would be

interested in it. But essentially I loved this novel with everything in me. This is

the only novel I have read by Jen Wilde and I can already say that she is now

one of my favorite authors because of how good it was. Queens of Geek is a novel

featuring three best friends who go to SupaCon which is essentially like

Comic Con for us and it is told on the point of view of two of these characters -

Charlie and Taylor. Charlie is a Chinese- Australian vlogger / actress who is also

bisexual and she is in a female by human romance and the other female in the

romance is also of color. Taylor is on the autism spectrum and she is fat - both

of those topics are talked about heavily in this novel and I think that this

novel is the epitome of balancing fluffiness

and cuteness with discussing hard topics because it does both of those so,

so well. You just have to read it because it features two adorable romances while

also tackling, like I said, all of these hard topics - just everything about it is

absolutely wonderful, so please go read it because it's wonderful.

The next book on my list is actually one that is not out yet - Let's Talk About

Love by Claire Kann. I was lucky enough to receive an ARC of this novel from the

lovely people at Swoon Reads. Let's Talk About Love is a novel about a black bi

romantic asexual main character. This is the first time I have ever seen my

sexuality in a book. Seeing the words that represent me in a novel meant so

much to me that I can't even form that feeling in words. My video review of this

novel is not up yet, but my goodreads review is, so I'll link that in the

description below for you to get a more comprehensive understanding of how I

felt reading this novel. I do want to comment on the fact that it has been

brought up to me that the poverty rep in this novel is not done well. I cannot

speak of that from personal experience, but I trust the person who said that to

me, so I do wanna note that to anyone out here who is watching. The love interest

of this novel is Japanese so this novel has quite some racial diversity.

It also tackles racial microaggressions, plus it talks about the fact that it's

okay to want to be a housewife there is nothing wrong with that decision,

plus it tackles sexism, plus it has good therapy representation for the

first time in forever. This novel doesn't have a main character

who has been diagnosed with a mental illness or anything, she's just going to

see a therapist to figure stuff out. That type of representation needs to be showcased

more often because it's okay to just go to a therapist if you want someone to

talk to. If that's something that will help you, it's a totally okay decision to

make. But most importantly, I can say that this novel is the best asexual

representation I have ever read and whereas there's not a lot to compare it to,

that still saying something. Now at number three, I have More Happy Than Not by Adam

Silvera. I have said this many times, I will say it again - Adam is not only one

of my favorite authors, but he is one of my favorite people in the world. More

Happy Than Not is a book that features a gay Puerto-Rican main character and I

want to give a huge trigger warning for this book because it

with heavy topics such as suicide, so definitely be aware of that before going

into this novel. I read this novel at a time that was very hard for me and it

essentially gave me what I needed in that point. It's not just my third

favorite book that I've read this year, but it's one of my favorite books of all-

time because of the comfort it gave me. There's so much to this and to all of

Adam's work and he's known for breaking our hearts and we joke about it a lot,

but this novel - it didn't just break my heart, but it also repaired it in a lot

of ways and I just want to thank Adam for being brave enough to write about

these types of topics. I think that we are lucky to be living in a time where

we get to see someone as talented as him put out amazing work. And now at number two -

When Dimple Met Rishi by Sandhya Menon. I don't even have words to express what

it meant to me to read When Dimple Met Rishi. I have a full spoiler frew review of it

up and that is still my most viewed video of all time, so I will link that

either up there or down there if you would like to check it out, but

essentially When Dimple Met Rishi is the first time I have ever seen a YA novel

featuring main characters of my skin color. To this day, I still don't know

how to express how that felt to me because it was so surreal to see myself

represented like that for the first time ever. It's still surreal that I have this

book in my hands. This is an Indian person on this cover and that is something

that is still so surreal to me and is still something that I have trouble

grasping because I have never had that in my life before

and it is ownvoices representation and it is a rom-com about two Indian

American teens. It is just so surreal that I still don't know how to form my

feelings about this novel and about the author. You know, I heard about this novel

back in like January of 2017 or something, but still now in December, I

don't know how to express how I feel in words. That is the importance of

representation and all I can tell you is that you need to read this book. It is

the cutest. fluffiest, most wonderful contemporary

romance you could ever read. I'm honored to have two copies of this book, I'm

honored to know the author, and I am honored to continue to support her next

year when From Twinkle, With Love comes out, and I am just honored to have been a

part of her journey and to have been a part of this book's journey. And now, at

number 1, you all know what I'm going to say - Lord Of Shadows by Cassandra

Clare. Everyone and their mother knows that Cassandra Clare is my favorite

author in the entire world and everyone and their mother knows that Cassandra

Clare saved my life and that her books mean the world to me and that I would

die for the Shadowhunter universe, so I don't know why we're still talking

about it, but I will never pass up an opportunity to discuss Cassandra Clare.

Lord Of Shadows is a work of brilliance. I talk about how Cassandra Clare is my

favorite author so much of the time, but there is something so much more special

to The Dark Artifices trilogy. This year, 2017, was the 10-year anniversary of City

of Bones. In those ten years, we as readers have had the honor of seeing how

Cassie has grown as a writer. So over 10 books later, she is still writing in this

brilliant universe that she is continuing to grow, especially with this

latest trilogy. And, you know, City of Bones came out 10 years ago. 10 years

later we're getting to see how she has grown as a writer. I'm not just talking

about the literal writing aspect of it, but I'm talking about so much more. The

Dark Artifices is easily her best trilogy and Lord of Shadows is objectively her

best book in terms of representation, in terms of the plot, in terms of character

development, and in terms of her writing, so when I say that this is my top book

of 2017, I'm not just talking about me anymore -

I'm talking about how Cassie has grown as a writer, I'm talking about how this

trilogy is so much bigger now and how this

universe has grown so much and we have the honor of being here for the journey

of it. The only way I can explain it is that the Shadowhunter universe is my

Harry Potter and I will never get tired of it and I will never get tired of

experiencing more of Cassie's work and I am just waiting for Queen of Air and

Darrkness to come out and probably be the best book Cassie has ever released. Those

were my top 17 favorite books of 2017. Now, I want you to tell me what your

favorite book you've read this was or if you can't pick one, tell me a few

favorites that you've read this year. I love reading and I love how my reading

year went and I'm just so excited for about 2018 brings, not just in terms of

books, but in terms of the book community itself because I know that I am going to

get so many more wonderful opportunities and I'm gonna get to do so much more

cool stuff than I've been able to do this year and I am ecstatic for it and I

want to thank you all for being part of this journey.

None of this would be possible without you. If you enjoyed this video, please

give it a like and subscribe because that stuff makes me happy.

As I said, comment down below, tell me some of your favorite books that you've

read this year. As usual, all of my social media and my goodreads will be in the

description below if you'd like to follow me anywhere else. Thank you all so

much for watching, I hope you're having a lovely day or night wherever you are, I

hope you get to read some lovely books in 2018, and I will see you this weekend

with a brand new video. Goodbye!

PETER MONN DOES NOT CONDONE THIS - Duration: 6:34.

Hey bitches so who is excited that 2017 is finally coming to a close in 2018 is literally a few hours away

I am fuckin ecstatic because

2017 for me has been very hectic, it's been very

Telling as to who my friends are it's been very telling about the drama on YouTube

Yes, there's been a lot of fuckin drama on YouTube

Let's admit it like I came back into this drama game late this year. Thank God

I did because the stuff that people were covering this year was in

Saying I feel like 2017 is going out with a bang as you guys know there is issues going on with a few select people

That I'm not gonna even say their name in this video because you know what?

karma will get them and karma has started to get them and that's just where you have to go with that I

Really, hope that pity parties stay in 2017

I'm just gonna say it because I think there's a lot of manipulation that goes on on YouTube as I've said in Prior videos and

You know I help people start to wisen up to the lies that are being told to them

That's all I'm gonna say fucked up

But I just finished watching Peter's video on the whole

Year in review for him and what he's learned and I want to say this first you guys

I do not condone any negative comments that are left under this video

Where people are fighting back and forth in the comments if you don't like what someone said you know what?

You don't have to comment about it. You don't have to start threatening people's lives

You don't just start telling people they have AIDS. You don't have to start

Denouncing someone's livelihood and all that kind of stuff in the comments just because something rubbed you the wrong way

the beauty of YouTube for me is that we can all have a difference of opinion a

different of opinion a difference of opinion

and that's

That's just how life is beautiful not everyone's gonna agree on everything and not everyone's gonna have the same opinion as you and that's what?

Makes conversations so great and that's actually what starts conversations now

I also want to say this that Peter does not condone any negative comments that are left over there

Obviously anywhere on YouTube, and I do know that it's not anyone's control to basically be like well

you know I

Can't stop those people from commenting over there because it's true you can't stop

People from commenting. There's a lot of people that will go out there and leave negative comments

I mean look at my last video the comments. I'm getting on that where people are telling

I have AIDS people are saying this people are saying that I do not think that rich has anything to do with that

but it's kind of funny like you can almost look at a youtuber and

Then look at their fan base subscriber base and be like why are there so many negative people around you

Why are so many people gunning that hard for just anyone that doesn't agree with you or?

Anyone that like may have an issue with you or something like they come hard

And it's only a select few youtubers that I've seen that I've had such

Negativity around them to the point where they will rip you they would try to ruin your life. I mean Dustin daily last night

Almost shut down his YouTube channel because of the hate that he was receiving from Rich's video

So I'm just gonna say it, and this is not a rich video

I'm just going over what has happened in the past few because I know people in the comments

And once again, I want to clarify there is no problem with them um I

Want to say that I hope that you guys understand where this channel is going I got a lot of comments

Something I found interesting over the past literally 12 hours or something is there were a lot of people that were like

With me on the way my videos were going and they were supporting me in the way my videos are going and then one little

Sob story video comes out and all of a sudden it completely changed, and they started to go against me

I'm gonna tell you guys exactly what this channel is going to be this is going to be me watching videos

This is gonna be my opinion

This is going to be me giving you information, but I'm not gonna go out of my way to expose someone

I'm not gonna go out of my way to try to ruin someone's life

I'm gonna give you guys my opinion, and I have found that my opinion is more so the popular opinion

because

It's an opinion that a lot of people have come to me privately. It's a lot

It's an opinion that a lot of people have said in my comments that they just don't want to say out loud

So that's why I'm saying. It's a popular opinion, but it's definitely the unpopular opinion to say out loud for some reason

I'm not a bullshit artist

I'm not a bullshitter in any way if I see something that rubs me wrong

And I see someone that might be scamming you if I see someone who is trying to pull the wool over your eyes and all

that I'm gonna speak up about that's just how I am that's I'm

That's just how I am I don't think anyone should be scammed

I don't think anybody should be manipulated into anything so I

want to let you guys know that and thank you guys so much for the people that are supporting me in this venture of the

Viewers voice once again it is like I love it

I am so excited to be back and doing these type of videos

and I just hope you guys understand that in no way am I ever trying to take anyone's channel down and no way am I

Ever trying to bring anyone's pain and also

If I fuck up I fuck up you can tell me that I fucked up. That's fine

I will knock him out of you

I will reach out just the way I've reached out to rich and all that if I see that you were starting to hurt from

It and it's a genuine hurt, and it's just not I don't know maybe I'm just a really good judge of character

Everyone's always talking about a really good judge of character

But I don't want anyone to hurt at the end of the day

And I don't want you want to shut their channel down, and I don't want anyone to

Do anything so drastic as certain people have done?

So I hope you guys understand what I'm saying with that and I want to say that

2018 is going to be a good year for all of us, I'm putting that out there into the universe and

I'm gonna try to not go on

Tangents like you guys were saying

I know I went on a tangent over the past few days

But I mean I've only been posting videos back on the viewers voice for three days now

And it's not like I sat down and watched a ton of videos at once because everyone's like

Oh, don't check this video and give us a reaction so that's what I did

I was doing what I thought you guys wanted me to do so

If you don't want my reaction to videos all the time the people are putting out. That's fine

It just so happened that the three people that I was focusing on were the ones that I was getting bombarded with people

Asking me I hope you guys understand that

And two of them honestly are pieces of shit

But I do understand how you thought that I was focusing on

the third planet a lot more when the main focus should have been other ones, but I still think no one's hands are clean I

Guess that's all I want to say in this video

I hope that you guys all have an amazing new years, and I hope that you are safe

I hope that you have a good time. I hope you don't wake up tomorrow with too much of a hangover

I'm one of those people that I start my year the way

I want my year to go so I am going to be at home

I am going to just be making myself a hot toddy

I'm making enchiladas right now

And I'm just going to relax and go into the New Year with ease so I can get up tomorrow and start it fresh

and get on the ball of hustling and

I hope to hear what you guys are doing down in the comments

so definitely let me know all my social media is down below and

That's it

2017 is done you guys and

It's been

It's been a year, so I love you guys. I'll see you guys all in the new year. Bye
