Australia Aims To Be The First Country To Process Air Travelers Via Biometrics Nationwide.

By Nicholas West

Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull has announced a plan that could make Australia the worlds

first country to implement a nationwide contactless system for processing its air travelers.

As The Sydney Morning Herald reports:

The Department of Immigration and Border Protection has sought technology that would abolish incoming

passenger cards, remove the need for most passengers to show their passports and replace

manned desks with electronic stations and automatic triage.

Officials are looking to use existing databases coupled with iris scans, facial recognition

and fingerprint scans as the final phase of a five-year project called Seamless Traveller

that is slated for completion by 2020.

Its all a part of the move toward a full-fledged Smart World where YOU become a digitally scanned

device in a matrix of online and real-world activity.

Head of Australias border security, John Coyne, highlighted the rapid acceleration

of biometric technology, as well as government access to the massive processing power of

Big Data which he noted is increasing exponentially. Furthermore, he flatly stated that such access

is global.

The innovation was possible because of the massive amount of passenger data including

ticket information, travel history and criminal records sourced globally and analysed

in the back room, Dr Coyne said.

[emphasis added]

Similar to other smart traveler initiatives, the first appeal is made to convenience.

Anyone familiar with increasingly long lines and intrusive human security checks might

welcome the projects vision to enable travelers to literally walk into an airport and out

the other side without a single interference.

While that might be the focus message to the consumer, Coyne reveals the true heart of

the mission.

Dr Coyne said it was all about selective permeability, or using intelligence to

determine in advance which types of passengers posed a risk and getting everyone else

through more efficiently.

All of this is about risk, he said.

I think in Australia were doing exceptionally well. [emphasis added]

Given the fact that biometric security itself has trickled down from use in war zones like

Afghanistan to catalog potential terrorists, this would have to be the priority.

Moreover, wherever these systems have popped up, abuses have been recorded.

Even in the Land of the Free, local police have been caught using biometrics without

consent by harvesting information from unaccountable databases, which illustrates how easily purported

border security measures can creep well beyond their stated intent.

As it turns out, the problem in the U.S. is much greater than that.

The FBI has been actively trying to exempt from privacy protections a massive national

biometrics database called the Next Generation Identification (NGI) System.

And this is only what we know about in a country that has constitutional protections

for its citizens.

As disparate biometrics systems from security to banking to travel and even to your home

computer all begin to link up and cross communicate, globally, the possibility of widespread privacy

violations increases exponentially.

Essence of Murli 29-01-2017 - Duration: 9:59.

Om Shanti !

Today's Murli Date Is 29th January 2017

( Today we will listen to Avyakt Murli Of Avyakt Baapdada. This Murli was first spoken on 16th January 1982 )

Murli Heading : "My Baba has come": In order to spread this sound loudly let your angelic form be seen everywhere.

Where has BapDada come today and whom has He come to meet? Do you know this?

Today, God has come as the Godly Friend.

So, when friends meet, what do they do amongst themselves?

They sing, laugh, eat and entertain themselves.

So, today, BapDada has not come to give you knowledge, but to celebrate a meeting.

BapDada is seeing how such a variety of Godly friends have arrived here from so far away.

You are such good friends that having made God your one Friend, you have just the one Godly Friend and none other.

Therefore BapDada is seeing the picture of ach of you and your own individual friendship.

When you have an eternal friendship with someone, whatever thoughts you have in your heart,

you share those thoughts with your friend. So you have made God such a Friend, have you not?

You have forged a relationship of imperishable love, have you not?

It isn't a relationship that is forged one moment and broken the next, is it?

What do you think? Is it an eternal friendship?

Throughout the whole cycle, will you ever find such a Father again, such a Friend, or whatever you call Him,

will you find anyone who fulfils all relationships with you?

You have been around the whole cycle and yet did you find anyone?

The Father came and found His friends and those with whom He has all relationships: you were unable to find Him.

Blessing: May you have the fortune of happiness and share and the fortune you have received from the Father, the Bestower of Fortune and thereby increase it.

Your greatest fortune is that the Father, the Bestower of Fortune, has made you belong to Him.

People in the world are desperate to have even one second's glimpse cast on them,

whereas all of you are constantly merged in His eyes.

This is known as being fortunate.

Fortune is your inheritance.

It is only at this time of the whole cycle that you receive such fortune;

so continue to increase your fortune and the method to increase it is to share it.

The more you share it with others, that is, the more fortunate you make them,

Slogan: In order to experience the stage of being free from obstacles and being constant and stable, increase the practice of concentration.

( Spiritual exercise to imbibe- January Month ) Become a tapaswi image.

Just as the father sits in the subtle region, in one place,

and sustains all the children everywhere in the world,

so, you too sit in one place and, through your tapaswi form, do unlimited service, the same as the father.

Give unlimited sakaash and keep yourself busy in unlimited service.

To the sweetest, beloved, long-lost and now-found children, love, remembrance and good morning from the Mother, the Father, BapDada.

The spiritual Father says namaste to the spiritual children.

We spiritual children convey to spiritual Baapdada, our love our remembrance, our good morning & our namaste namaste

Om Shanti !

5 DIY Emoji Projects YOU NEED TO TRY! Phone Case, Lip Balm, Mini Slime, Room Decor & Orbeez DIYs - Duration: 10:47.

hello and welcome back to my channel today I'm

going to show you how to make 5 DIY

emoji projects if you're new to my

channel and you'd like to see future DIY

videos please click that subscribe button and if you

enjoy this video please give it a

thumbs up the first project will be the

DIY emoji lip balm to get started I'm

going to recycle one of these eyeshadows

containers i started by popping up a

little plastic piece that the eyeshadow sat on

once i had the plastic piece removed

then I just thoroughly washed and cleaned

out the eyeshadow container i painted

the outside of the eyeshadow container

with some yellow acrylic paint and it

did require about five coats to

full cover it

here is mine after it was painted

with a pencil i drew on the emoji face

that I wanted and then with some Sharpie

markers i colored it

no to make the lip balm for this in a

microwave safe container i'm going to

add 1 Tablespoon of beeswax and 1

tablespoon of coconut oil

I'm gonna melt that in the microwave on

15 second increment once it was melted

down to give some tint I'm just going to

use some lipstick from an old lipstick that

i had - I dropped that into the beeswax and

coconut oil and mix it up

I poured my lip balm mixture into the eyeshadow case and

let that sit for about 15 to 20 minutes

and here is mine once the lip balm had

set and that is how you make these easy

DIY emoji lip balms

the second Emoji project will be these emoji light-up

pillows perfect room decor what I'm

going to use is I'm just going to

recycle and old yellow t-shirt that I

had - I placed a plate in the middle of

the t-shirt and traced around it

the next thing i did was i just cut out

the circle making sure when i was done i

had the front side and the back side of

the t-shirt in the circle

I used a lid that was a little smaller

than the original circle and i traced around that

place the two circles back

together and begin hot gluing in small

sections on the line that was just made

make sure to leave one little section unglued

now turn the circle inside out

with a pencil i drew on the emoji face

that I wanted and I'm going to use some

Sharpie markers to color it in so i took

a piece of cardboard and place that in

the middle so the markers wouldn't leak

through then i just colored in the face

I'm going to stuff my pillow with some poly fil fiber

to make the pillow light up i'm going

to use some of these floral LED lights

the lights come on a thin wire and what

I did was I just stuff those into the pillow

leave a little bit of the battery pack

out then seal the rest of the pillow by

folding a bit of the top and bottom and

gluing to give it a nice finished look

hot glue the battery pack to the back of

the pillow these late shouldn't get hot

but never leave the pillow unattended

when the lights are on

just twist the battery pack on the back

to make the lights go on and off and

that is how you make these easy DIY

emoji light up pillows

the next project will be a DIY Orbeez

emoji room decor idea. For this one you

will need one of these glass bowls i drew

on an emoji face and then with Sharpie

markers i colored it in

I'm going to use an empty and clean Play Doh container to go

in the middle you just want something

that is about the same size as the bowl

and fits in the middle hot glue the bottom

of the play-doh container and place it

inside the glass bowl

I'm going to use this bottle of all yellow Orbeez I found

these on Amazon i will leave a link down

below I put the lid back on the Play

Doh container so when I filled the bowl

the Orbeez we go into the bowl and not

into the play-doh container

once the bowl is full of Orbeez add a

little bit of water

remove the play-doh lid and then add

your pens or pencils or even your makeup brushes.

the 4th craft project will be DIY Emoji Phone Case

for this one just

had to the link down below and print out

this printable cut out each letter and

the emoji face leaving a little border

I'm going to cover them with clear packaging

tape and then cut off the excess and the border

here were mine once they were all taped and cut out

I'm going to use a clear phone case I

place the letters and the emoji on the

phone and then I put the phone case back on

and that is how you make this DIY Emoji phone case

the 5th project will be DIY mini Emoji slime

that you can

turn into a keychain to make the slime i'm

going to start with some clear Elmers

glue. I'm just going to add a little bit of the

Elmer's glue to a bowl

to give it some color I'm going to use some yellow acrylic paint

i just added the yellow acrylic

paint to the glue and mixed that together

I'm going to use liquid starch if you don't

have liquid starch or you can't find it

you can use tide laundry detergent I

just slowly added a little bit to the

paint and glue mixture until it formed slime

and here is what my slime looked like

i'm going to use one of these little

bead containers or lip balm containers i

just took a little piece of the slime and

put that in the container.

I drew on a face that I wanted and then with some

Sharpie markers I colored that in

to color in the eye white i'm just going

to use some white acrylic paint

and i just used a sharpie marker to fill

in the middle of the eye and here's what

it looks like at this point now the next

step is optional but I'm going to turn

this into a key chain so what I used was a

paperclip and I just unfolded it and

then with a pair of cutters i just cut

off a little bit of the top

place a bead of hot glue in the middle of the

container on the back part making sure

not to glue the container shut then

place the paper clip in the hot glue

and set aside and let it cool down

now i'm going to use a jump ring and a key

chain. Place the jump ring around the paper

clip and then close the jump ring and

that is how you make these DIY miniature

slime emojis that you can turn into

keychains i hope you guys enjoyed these

five DIY emoji projects i would love it

if you gave this video a thumbs up leave

me a comment and let me know which one

was your favorite

what is your favorite emoji? until next

time I hope you guys all have an amazing day

The Shitty Vegan Kitchen: Vegan Hacks and Snacks - Duration: 8:56.

[Bounce Ball begins playing]

Hello and welcome to the Shitty Vegan Kitchen. In this episode, we're going to be learning

different vegan hacks.

Alright, so one of the first things I'm looking at is Buzzfood's "Seventeen Cooking Hacks Every

Vegan Should Know".

First vegan hack, "You can create vegan buttermilk by adding vinegar to any non-dairy milk".

Okay.

So, I only have apple cider vinegar, so I hope that that works and I have some soy milk

here and a measuring cup because that's what's on the picture and a fork.

It's one tablespoon of apple cider vinegar for one cup of non-dairy milk and then you

have to let it sit for five to ten minutes. So, I don't want to make that much because

I don't actually like -

I don't want to waste anything, so I'm just gonna put like that much milk, tiny bit, like

a splash or so. Oh, yeah, okay I'll add a little more milk. This is like very reminiscent

of the last video.

I'm going to just like stir that up. That's all stirred up

and I'm going to let it sit for the five to ten minutes, and then we can check on it.

So, another hack is using either flax or chia meal with water as an egg replacement. I don't

have flax meal. but I do have flax seeds, which I can try my best to grind up. I'm supposed

to get - I did actually measure this because I want to get it right. I have three tablespoons

of water and then one tablespoon of flax seeds, oh, and they're stuck all over. Gonna get

just a tiny bit more.

Okay, I don't have a mortar and pestle because I couldn't find it but I'm going to try to

use this spoon and this little cup. I know I'm not going to break this down into flax

meal, but if I could just like break them down slightly so that they'll have like a

similar

effect.

[chopping noises]

Well, it's sort of working. Well, it is what it is.

Alright, so I'm mixing the lightly pounded-grounded flax. Oh, also let this stand for five to

ten minutes. And while it is standing, we are going to check on our vegan buttermilk.

It smells a lot like apple cider vinegar. I'm going to actually give you a little taste

test. Oh, that's very vinegary.

It's kind of like a really watery yogurt. I - I think this could work. I think this

could easily work, and it doesn't taste like poison so that's a good sign.

Okay, so another thing I consider to be a vegan hack is an easy vegan snack hack. It

is banana, some kind of seed or nut.

I have sunflower seeds, non-dairy milk - I have soy. You open up your banana. This is

a really good comfort food, I find, like when you're craving something, I usually like to

eat this at night when I really want like a late night snack.

Feels kind of healthier but it's also like very, there's just something - I had this

when I was a kid, so there's something just very like comforting about it. Banana is in

the bowl. You put as much milk as you want, depending on how like watery you want it to

be or how thick you want it to be.

And then you throw in your sunflower seeds.

Woo.

And then you gotta mush it all up. That's right, I'm making mushed banana. A lot of

people think that this is baby food, but it's everybody food. Babies don't have to have

the monopoly on mushed bananas and mushed foods in general, okay? Babies can share.

You also do this with a frozen banana if you want it to be cold and kind of more like ice-cream.

[Hums]

And then you have mushed banana. It's good because you've got fruit and protein all in

one snack. Cool vegan hack snack.

So, I'm going to see how long my flax seeds have done. It would have been a lot better

to use flax meal, I recognize, but even so, the texture of the water has gotten bit like

sticky, like it's got that - it's not quite eggy but it's like going there.

Depending on what you want when you're baking, like if you're okay with just having straight

up flax seeds in it, I think that this is probably fine, but if you don't want to actually

you know encounter flax seeds when you're eating it,

then definitely get the ground kind, but I know that - I think - I think I've tried this

using whole flax seeds that I've just kind of punched a little bit.

I've tried this before and I think that depending on the recipe it can work, as you do you get

that same kind of texture. So, Buzzfood recommends an app called, "Is it Vegan?" where you scan

the bar codes of different items and it tells you whether or not it's vegetarian, vegan,

or neither of those things. So, I downloaded it on my phone, and I have things in front

of me right now that I can scan.

First thing that I'm going to scan is the crackers. There we go.

It got it. Oh, unknown product, ingredient list not available. Okay, so it doesn't know,

so good - good way to start. The next thing that we're going to do is Oreos, and I know

that Oreos are vegan because I've heard it a million times that they're vegan, and I've

looked at the ingredients, and this app better know what they are.

Duh duh duh duh duh, duh duh duh duh. Duh, duh, duh.

Okay, definitely vegetarian. One vegetarian ingredient, ten vegan ingredients. Oh, yeah,

I told it to only consider sugar vegetarian rather than vegan

just, I just made that choice, it asked me whether I wanted to do that.

So, if you consider sugar to be not vegan, then Oreos are not vegan. If you consider

sugar to be vegan,

then Oreos are vegan.

It worked for Oreos. Oreos passed the test.

I'm going to scan these - these guys, they are sesame seed and quinoa brown race crackers.

Oh, it got it. It got it! Unknown product. This isn't very helpful so far, no offence

[crash onto the floor] but it's not.

Bagels. Are bagels vegan? Unknown product! What?

Okay, now we're gonna do this margarine. Pretty sure, unless they specify, most margarines

are not vegan. Unknown product. [laughs]

Okay, this is like Becel, or Becel, or however you say it. Kay, like it gives you the option

to add it, and they'll add it to their database, but, I don't know, that's like - it seems

to not know a lot more than it does know.

See if it knows the chai tea, if it doesn't know the chai tea, I'm giving up on this app

and uninstalling it immediately. So, it knows that it is Tetley chai tea, uh two vegan ingredients,

tea and natural spice, so it's vegan. As I would expect from chai.

It seems like it works well for major brand name stuff but if you buy like no-name stuff

from your grocery store, or like from smaller companies, it's probably not going to recognize

it, so that's like not super helpful.

Another easy vegan hack snack is kale chips. Take your kale, dump your kale. Now the kale

actually reduces in size quite a bit when you cook it, so it might look like you have

like a ton of kale on your tray, but it's going to get like a lot smaller. Apparently

with kale too, you really shouldn't eat it raw, or you shouldn't eat it like, you can

eat it raw - oh gosh - you can eat it raw in a uh smoothie or something like if it's

been like mulched up, or you can um just cook it a little bit, or steam it, or bake it,

as I'm about to do, because it's a lot easier for you to digest that way.

So, normally, I would put a little bit of oil. We just ran out of oil because I keep

making kale chips. Unless. Unless I go to the dark side. We do have this Pam. [spraying

noise]

Okay, so I just used some spray-on oil, I don't know if that was a bad thing to do,

but I made that call.

Gonna use salt. Lots and lots of pepper because [grinding noise] I like things with pepper.

Basil. And now it's time for thyme.

Put them in the oven. Now, it's really easy to burn these guys, so I usually put on a

timer for about five minutes, check on them, um they're usually not cooked by then, but

then I'll do like another three minutes, so eight to ten minutes in the oven, um I have

the oven set to 365, which isn't too hot.

Yeah, they cook really fast and they burn really easily, so you don't wanna burn them,

cause then that's disappointing.

Okay, so here's our buttermilk. Kind of like just a thicker version of soy milk. Gonna

spin it around.

Here is our flax seed, egg replacement. You can see it's kinda like bloop bloop bloop.

Here's our disgusting-looking but very yummy banana mush. Oh, yeah.

And our kale chips are done. As you can see, they're kind of crunchy and the whole thing

is just a lot smaller, and they make for delicious chips.

Yay, whoo, yay!

Thank-you so much for watching. If you have any suggestions for different vegan foods

or recipes you'd like me to try in another video, please leave them in the comments below.

Also, feel free to share any of the vegan hacks that you might have. If you watched

my last video, you might have noticed that I finally come up with my outtro catchphrase,

which is, wherever you are in life, I hope that you are learning as much as you can.

Thanks again for watching, and bye.

Can I reach? Oh, it's so far away. Okay, goodb-
