Waching daily Jan 29 2017

today I have three important tips that

will help you boost your graphic design workflow

they're fairly ujconventional tips

but you're going to realize just how

important they are

what is up people Tom here and

welcome back to another graphic design

tips video today i will be showing you

three tips that i think would really

help to boost your graphic design workflow

remember i upload graphic

design tutorials on the Tuesday

speed art videos on a thursday and sunday

I like to upload bonus videos like this one

before we start I quickly like to remind you

to hit that like button and let me know

in the comment section below if you

enjoyed this video if you find it

helpful subscribe to stay updated all of

my uploads and then you share this video

to somebody else but working in almost

any job you have to interact with people

such as possible

it isn't person is going to see the

email or something similar like that in

graphic design is crucial to keep strong

positive relationships with your clients

if there's a one-off client

you should always treat them with respect and be polite

I'm not sure it's just the way I've been brought up

and raised, for me this is second nature

I never really give it much thought

you should always aim to be polite understanding

trusting match one warm when talking to

your clients

people are more likely to complain to

other people they know about something

negative they have experienced, as opposed to

something positive they might have had

in their day-to-day life

people just like to talk about bad things

it's in our nature

but if you're always polite and understanding

and easy to work with

clients will eventually pass on your name

as a graphic designer to other potential clients

I've had that happen to me countless times

and it comes from mainly

consistent work and consistently using

positive communication skills

it's something that really boosts your graphic design workflow

if you are like me then you'll be

someone who has times in life where they

procrastinate way too much

I'm someone who strives to have deadlines

because it gives me more of a

sense of urgency in my work

in your graphic design workflow if you don't

have tight deadlines from your client

for any deadlines at all make some for yourself

it can be a kind of rewiring of your

brain or conditioning at a time

but if you start to give yourself mini deadlines

within your graphic design work projects

you will start to see a boost in progress

so for example if you have a branding

project that requires a logo design

business card design, letterhead and social media artwork

the client is giving you is giving you a very lenient deadline

make some for yourself

let me start a logo design and give

yourself five days maximum to actually

of these days for this initial concept

ideas working with many deadlines within

an overall deadline will really help to

boost graphic design workflow what my

last point is no way to stop it may seem

a bit contradictory to the last point

but if you think about it it makes sense

it is crucial to a healthy workflow in

our robots real people with physical and

mental limits if you push yourself too

hard you will burn out and worked with

her on to be positive productive i've

been in the past we have stayed up until

the early hours of the morning working

on a design not because it was due the

next day because I was something to the

project healthy mind is one that you

want for working on a graphic design

project as well as having a positive

well-being and positive life outside of

work

only your projects become your life to

know when to stop and redesign the next

day if you keep too many deadlines

within deadlines are stated in the last

point we don't need to work yourself

into a great anyway so did you find the

three points on

how to boost your graphic design workflow helpful if you

did let me know in the comment section

below and subscribe for future uploads

share this video to someone else who

would benefit from it and until next

time

design you today

LA GUERRE CONTRE ADBLOCK - Duration: 7:55.

Hi everybody, this is Dylan; I hope you are fine

Today, we find ourselves in a little video, so here, I like the little video, it's funny; here

But friends today, there is a little problem, a big worry, I must speak to you

As you have seen in the description, and finally in the name of the video is not all that pretty pretty

Not at all

Today I will tell you about Adblock, myself I speak to you but I myself am a consumer Adblock

Yes, I admit, there are no worries, as many people are consumers Adblock

But I, the advantage I have, compared to other people is Adblock, it is disabled on youtube

You know to win, to succeed in life, finally to make a living and all that, you have to work, we agree

Here, you're working, you're paid well; You not working, you're not paid, OK; Infact, youtube is the same

and even other works, all the sites on the internet, it's exactly the same thing, you work> you are paid

not you work, you are not paid; But the little worries there on the internet is that to get paid, you have ads

no ads, no money; No money, you're not paid! It is clear, I explained to you the topos is that infact

Here, I think you know but I prefer to say, that when you come across a site like youtube

when you come across one of my videos, for example, there are brands that have filed an advertisement in Youtube

who endorse an advertisement, this brand has sent money to youtube, that we agree

for advertising, for example, an advertising Samsung may go

An advertising Samsung, Samsung youtube paid to its advertising, ok

Now the video you will watch my video of me and there you go down on a ad from Samsung

We agree, so it works, visibility, etc; And exchange me, making views, it means that you will see lots of advertisements

In each of my videos, you may come across advertisements ok; So with that, I saw it reward me you saw ads

It's a bit like a vis-à-vis reward like that, but it's not really a reward but that's good

this is especially the laws, so, I earn money through it so there youtube Samsung paid the ad to youtube

Youtube, in exchange, as I have given visibility to this ad youtube gives me a small part, we agree

I assure you, they do not give large shares for each ad is not just € 10

But hey, that's okay, that and the problem is that there is Adblock, Adblock, I can say it is good but it's not good for both

that's good, because you say that you are alone, you are not harassed ads because that I totally agree with you

either on the Internet at the same TV on the street now, everywhere .. There the ads is very very boring

But I think the problem, I thought that here I am myself youtubeur, and I will not allow me to activate Adfblock because in the end, a youtubeur

How it makes money, it makes money through youtube, we agree; But how YouTube makes money thanks to ads

so no ads, no money to youtube, youtube no money, no money for us and no trade, no new material

0, nothing; What I'm saying is that here, the ads it is super important, it allows some to earn a living

maybe this stupid to say, perhaps it is here; But the ads it's really annoying thing, but I am quite agree with you friends

I Adblock, but I thought to myself, well it's true that ads on youtube, and all the sites, it is very boring

So here, but what I said is that good, I'll be honest here anyway finally here

I said I'll turn off adblock at least for youtube and I turned off adblock at least for youtube and even for some other sites I'll

I disabled the ads simply, that the youtubeur like that when I look at it, he receives a small sum

since I saw her ad Finally you know a little bit how this works bails youtube, that's just so it's still important

because if we, we do not make money how you want them to invest in a Canon under umbrellas in microphones, such as I just buy me a

as you have seen my previous video, etc; this is how you can do that, so there is alot that say ads are boring, you youtubeurs, you earn a lot of money

etc but not really at all, is not earn thousands of euros like that, you have not, to give an estimate vousz to win thousands DESZ

must be several million views, you can imagine, it's millions of views to do to earn thousands of euros

in short, still can not be completely accurate, we most is why I give you a little estimation,

I did not tell you 1 or 2 million, I told you millions for views Millers for a few thousand or perhaps a thousand, we do not know

It's not huge, but that's all that to say that it would be cool, it really would be that at least you make the effort

disable adblock for jusre youtbe, it would be really nice, it helps, I talk to my chain, but I speak for all channels, do not worry

I know you even you are perhaps youtubeur, some string, you imagine if everyone had just about your channel, all views that have

imagine they are all blocked by adblock, you win nothing, a giant bubble, you win

a huge bubble, I take the example, I finally no examples but here, just so there

it'd be off to the ads from adblock, after you do what you want,

I still earns a little money from it but the fact that there are views that are not monetized, I earn less

and so suddenly, it retards for my equipment etc but I speak for any youtubeur, you tell me, too, but yes with adblock,

They are doing very well, they are doing well but then maybe they say I do not know you, they may have a fièreté etc.

I do not know, I just, I just tell you what happens, that's all, it's a little debate like that but I do not criticize anyone

I do not tell you: Turn off adblock, you do what you want, but I acquaints you now if you want to turn off adblock,

or atleast try, I know for a week, for example, you see, because in the end, I have adblock activated

but in the end, ads I have not much either, on youtube, do not exaggerate, I did not fall on each video

with a ad, and videos or you can not delete them, right after it's true that yesterday, I fell a little strange with 2 videos

I could not remove, ads I could not is, remove, not serious; I will wait

You respond to the last message you received, bullshit, short; there simply so this video is finally over

I hope you will be more, if it has more, do not hesitate to put a big thumbs up

feel free to tell me your opinion in the comments, and feel free to subscribe; Go kiss

12 Most Dangerous Roads In The World - Duration: 8:45.

Elite Facts Presents

12 Most Dangerous Roads In The World

12.

Trans Siberian Highway Much like the Trans Canada Highway as well

as the Australia's Highway 1, the Trans-Siberian Highway is said to be one of the longest roads

in the world.

In order to get from Vladivostok to St. Petersburg it crosses forests, mountains, deserts, and

everything in between.

Much of it is unpaved and certainly not ideal for a casual Sunday drive.

If you're the type of person who likes making trips like this, Please for the love of god

(And believe us, We'll be saying this throughout the rest of this video), At least get your

vehicle serviced before even attempting to make any of these journeys.

11.

Stelvio Pass, Italy Stelvio Pass is without a doubt one of the

most intimidating roads on this list!

At 9,045ft up in the Alps, the Stelvio Pass is admittedly one of the most scenic drives

in the world.

Like seriously the views are and photos you can take along this route are phenomenal!

It's almost worth the dangerous journey in order to see these sites.

That being said however, the 180-degree corners are dangerous, the concrete barriers low,

and winter brings icy roads and slick conditions.

One wrong move could send you over the cliffs.

10.

The Canalie Highway, Nepal Very similar to the North Yungas Road (and

don't worry, We'll be getting to that road later on the list), the 155-mile Karnali

Hwy in the Himalayas of West Nepal is pretty much a death wish to anyone who even thinks

about attempting this journey as approximately 50 people die there a year.

The biggest factor of this road is it's dirt surface.

This surface is so bad that even cyclists who decide to go out for a nice bike ride

tend to struggle going across it and even going out of their way to say to themselves

"Yeah, I ain't dyin today!".

As you can probably imagine, vehicles that attempt to drive down this road tend to slide

on patches of dirt, choke on steep climbs, and generally get wrecked up from one too

many potholes.

As we've stated, Attempting to travel down this road is pretty much a suicide mission.

Just don't do it!

9.

Kabul-Jalalabad Highway, Afghanistan Kabul-Jalalabad Highway is located in "the

Valley of Death," and is notorious as this road is highly populated and monitored by

the Taliban and attacks are de rigueur -- so don't expect a lovely sunday drive out the

house when travelling on this road.

Even with the Taliban set aside, the narrow mountain passes that always seem to be full

of oversized freight trucks are just as frightening.

8.

Pan-American Highway So the thing that makes the Pan-American Highway

so dangerous is the many dangerous roads that branch off the from the main road, However,

the highway itself can be fairly dangerous as well.

It has been given the nickname of the "longest motorable" road in the world as you can

travel by car from the stretches of Alaska down to the tip of South America, which is

about a 30,000 miles in total.

That is just absolute madness when you think about it.

As you can imagine, crossing two continents and traversing through jungles, mountains,

glaciers, and deserts can inevitably lead to some challenges.

All we'll say is make sure your car is serviced before attempting to make this trip because

it's a long bumpy ride!

7.

The Federal Highway, Mexico Probably the second most dangerous road in

Mexico, The Federal Highway features sheer drops into the sea, winding narrow roads and

probably the worst types of drivers who have no consideration for anyone else on the road

who decide that it's a great idea to use dangerous overtaking manoeuvres on this wild

snake of a highway.

The worst thing about this highway is that it's pretty safe if you yourself are a safe

driver and there's no reckless drivers while you're driving.

It's an unpredictable nightmare for the many freight trucks, buses and cars that pass

it every day.

Watch out for the other drivers – in 6 Mexican states you don't need to pass a test to

drive a car.

Good luck.

6.

Nanga Parbat Pass, Pakistan Considering the nickname of this road is the"'Fairy

Meadows Road', You'd think it wouldn't be that dangerous.

Well turns out the road itself is on a treacherous high altitude with unstable and narrow mountain

roads.

Clearly the road does not suit the nickname 'Fairy Meadows Road".

Drive this one and you'll need to ascend a 6-mile unpaved and uneven road, without

barriers.

That being said however, You are guaranteed to get some amazing pictures if you are able

to survive the dangerous trip.

5.

Taroko Gorge Road, Taiwan Okay so admittedly the sites you will see

while driving along this road are amazing.

Definitely one of the more beautiful roads to drive along.

That being said, It's just a shame that this is also one of the most dangerous!

With blind bends, narrow roads, mountain drops and every type of transport possible vying

for space, the Taroko Gorge Road is one of the most dangerous in Taiwan.

The Taroko Gorge Road goes along a steep cliffside as it is full of blind curves, incredibly

sharp turns, and narrow paths leading through cliffs and mountains.

Again, The sites you will see while driving along this road are magnificent, however it's

just not worth risking your life for.

4.

John Dalton Highway , Alaska So at first glance, this road doesn't seem

dangerous.

Welp even the most peaceful looking roads can be dangerous as the John Dalton Highway

is a prime example of this.

The James Dalton Highway in Alaska, although appearing serene at first glance, is filled

with many potholes ranging in different sizes making the driver's trip a lot more bumpy,

small flying rocks carried by fast winds, risking the chance of damaging your vehicle

and even damaging the driver's windscreen, obscuring their view, and possibly the worst

thing about this road of all is the fact that this road runs through the middle of nowhere.

We recommend avoiding this road at all costs.

3.

Commonwealth Avenue, Philippines OH DEAR GOD!

What is this madness?

This so looking at these pictures, as you can tell there is very little organization

going on right now!

So Commonwealth Avenue has been given (And rightfully so) the nickname of the "Killer

Highway" of the Philippines.

Commonwealth Avenue in Quezon City is one of the most dangerous roads in the world as

it has seen numerous pedestrian, cyclist, and vehicular deaths over the years due to

awful regulations and enforcement of traffic laws.

Seriously, this must be what non-drivers must see in their nightmares!

2.

BR-116, Brazil So rather than the Road itself being dangerous,

It's all down to the fact that the road is just too damn long!

This road is second longest road in Brazil and has infamously been given the nickname

"The Highway of Death" for obvious reasons.

So okay, Big deal, it's a long road.

What makes it so dangerous.

Every year thousands of people die due to its poor upkeep and maintenance and drivers

are even killed by local criminals and bandits on this road.

As we've said, It's not the road itself that's dangerous.

1.

North Yungas Road, Bolivia You may recognise this road better by the

name it's been given by many locals living in the region.

"The Road of Death".

That's right.

Made famous (Or infamous in this case) on an episode of Top Gear (Before Jeremy Clarkson

got the boot), The Road of Death it is often cited as the most dangerous road in the world.

It is a regular occurrence for buses and trucks to go tumbling to the valley below, especially

when they try passing each other.

Looking at the pictures on screen is enough to make someone cringe at the sheer thought

of driving along this road.

Again referring back to that episode of Top Gear, Jeremy Clarkson was put in a position

where he was required to let a another car pass by him, Forcing him almost off the edge

of the cliff.

Scripted or not, That was still terrifying to watch!

Эпизод 5: Театр FOX. Игра на выбывание. Аналитика матча. @ ELEAGUE Major 2017 (ENG SUBS) - Duration: 7:44.

Hello, my friends, I'm pleased to see you on Na`Vi channel.

The day when our team starts their battle for the world championship title at the Fox Theatre scene has finally come.

Today starts the main part of Eleague Major 2017.

Today we will play one bo3 game against Astralis, the winner goes to semi-final.

It's still an hour before the tournaments starts, the venue is half-empty, but it's already noisy.

There are no booths on the scene, so the players will play without sound-absorption.

However Edward said it wouldn't affect them, so today the guys must be concentrated on the game.

Give me five!

The second map just finished, it was Mirage and it was very stressful, the guys were very close to losing.

Now the 3rd map will be played, the guys are already preparing for it on the scene,

now Dust 2 will decide if we advance into semi-finals or not.

Friends, I'm here with Sasha Enkanis.

The quarterfinal game has just ended and unfortunately Na`Vi got defeated.

I can't hide the disappointment on my face.

As an analyst, please tell me what happened on every map?

The first one was Overpass, basically a comfortable map for our guys,

they had been undefeated on it before this game, however, the map was picked by Astralis.

In brief, what do you think happened and why?

First, Na`Vi had been undefeated at this tournament, but they weren't themsevles on Overpass,

we're used to seeing them playing much more actively on the defense and way more aggressive on the T side,

but they played passively and the first map was a total disaster.

They lost both pistol rounds which was a big deal.

They were nervous and weren't themselves at all.

I noticed that in the group stage they had insane aim,

we could see that they were well prepared and practiced 700 or more hours.

Despite losing more pistol rounds in a bo3, they executed them very well, especially on the offense.

But on the third map they were not able to handle the pressure and their aim was out of whack,

and even Edward, the most experienced player on the team, looked off.

On the one hand it's a pity that Na`Vi lost, because we were all wholeheartedly rooting for them,

but on the other hand, the team that was mentally stronger today won.

Not in general, but today.

Astralis came here and proved that they deserve to be in the semi-finals.

Na`Vi needs to keep on working hard and particularly on the team's morale.

Yes, they're good friends and they support each other, but maybe they lacked it a bit in the game.

And you, as a reporter, can also go to them and cheer them up, because I'm sure they're not in the best mood right now.

And viewers, please, leave some supportive words in the comments,

because the guys played really well in the group stage,

and maybe coming into the quarterfinals as favorites could have an adverse effect on them.

The game ended just half an hour ago and the guys were brought here to sign some autographs, because a large crowd gathered here.

You can see the frustration and disappointment on their faces,

but in spite of that, they still came here to interact with the fans and show respect to them.

Thank you for being with us all this time, supporting us and watching our videos.

We'll have a few more videos from this tournament, so stay with us.

Don't get upset, everything will be fine.

Cheer for Na`Vi.

You are not alone: Drop potions (Tutorial 005) - Duration: 7:59.

If you check Script>Items you see that the game allready have a Life Potion.

In the last tutorial we added a key that drop items on the ground so all that is fixed.

But there are no object assosiated with the potion item. So we cant drop it on the ground.

That we can fix.

We need a new potion parent for this so duplicate parCollectible_Berries and name it parCollectible_Potions

Duplicate objBlueGem and name it objPotion.

Change the sprite to sprPotion1.

Change parent to parCollectible_Potions

This is a new object so we need to add it in the object array.

Scripts>Multiplayer>Enviroment>scr_Multiplayer_OBJECT_ARRAY_Enviroment

And copy and add a new line at the bottom as you should know by now.

Now lets assosiate the potion item with the potion object.

Script>Items>ItemGetLifePotion

_item[ITEM_OBJECT] = objPotion;

Now we can drop the potion on the ground. But we also want the player to be able to pick it up.

Objects>Player>objPlayerCharacter

Dulicate our berries collision and set it to collide with parCollectible_Potions instead.

Go to the script.

/// Add Potions

var item=ItemGetLifePotion();

We can stop here.

What would happen if we create another potion? Well right now the player can collide with it because it use the same parent.

But as you see it will always pickup the ItemGetLifePotion().

Before we continue lets make this code a little better so it can be used to pickup more potions.

var item; switch (other.object_index) { case objPotion: item=ItemGetLifePotion(); break; }

Here we get the collision object_index. And if it is a objPotion we set to pickup a ItemGetLifePotion().

Lets fix our berries collision as well.

var item; switch (other.object_index) { case objBerries: item=ItemGetBerries(); break; }

Ok. Now we are set for future berries and potions.

We can now pick up the potion. But we also must give the potions to the player.

Scripts>Multiplayer>Enviroment>scr_Multiplayer_ON_PLAYER_REQUEST_OBJECT_GRANTED

And we add the potion

case objPotion: var item=ItemGetLifePotion(); InventoryAdd(item); break;

Now our player get the potion. But we need to handle it on the client side also.

scr_Multiplayer_ON_DESTROY_Enviroment

Copy the parCollectible_Berries chunk and paste it below.

Change it to parCollectible_Potions

And we are now set. Lets try it.

Lets go and buy some potions from this shop.

SERVICE!!!

10 potions please.

Q to drop

Lets drop all of them.

Field Communications With A Ham or Amateur Radio Portable Kit With J-Pole Base Station - Duration: 6:49.

hey everybody we're talking about field

communications today

amateur radio or ham radio so I'm gonna dig

out my portable rig that I used for

hiking back in the day and we'll show

you my setup and kind of tell you some

of the strengths and weaknesses like

what I chose and eventually what

I've moved on to about 10 years ago i

decided to get into amateur radio or ham

radio to do a couple things one stay in

communication while without hiking

cellphone reception wasn't like there i

need to stay in contact with my party

and also want to monitor the weather so

that worked out pretty good how kind of

built up the kit and was really fun

process getting my certification of

license to get my call sign but to be

quite honest I haven't used this rig in

about four years mainly because since

the garmin inReach is out it does

basically everything that I do so I'm

gonna show you what was the equivalent a

few years ago so I got here on the stump

let's go over the pieces alright so

here's the rig and I've used a couple

radios by eventually settled on this

which was the yaesu ft60 the dual-band

hard metal case comes with a big battery

pack you can get a rechargeable pack

right here and you can get some other

accessories such as the speaker mic

which when you clip your radio to your

backpack or inside your pack you can

have your speaker radio just focusing on

one tower this was also programmable via

computer so i highly recommend that if

you're looking for a radio that you can

program it via computer or get a cable i

have loaded up all the towers I think a

couple hundred towers in here so i just

set up a different Bank depending where

am at and I just scan and weather

frequency as i mentioned here and i went

for the coax adapter route so i'm not

using SMA what comes in here

i'm using the coax adapter and basically

what i've done here I just went for coax

antennas antennas the next thing so I

went through a couple antennas

there's a little whip dual band and the

beauty with the coax instead of screwing

it in you can just simply clip it on

right depending where you are you may

want to use another type of whip and

let's say you got a good deal on the

whip so here's another one here you can

see here I've added some adapters for

the coax and always just ease of use to

plug in plug out since simply switch

antennas and this was by far the the

whip of antenna that I use the most

this would slide into the side pocket of my

backpack and i just use the speaker mic

that way so that worked out really good

for me

the other thing that I had here a little

grab-bag of stuff had my radio

certificate here and also have a couple

of other adapters and a couple other

smaller antennas i was in the city patch

cables was also convenient to have this

one here for the right angle coax

again you can have the radio in your

backpack anything is simply clip it on

stricken in and then straight into your

antenna so either antennas is here so

that was basically the main purpose of

the kit so i would carry this in my

backpack and you use a big whip or the

small whip depending where I'm at

but what happens if i was at base camp

or I want to summit and really get some

signal

well then you get into antenna

construction and i'll show you that

right now

alright so one of the great things about

the amateur radio is getting into

antenna build and part of the easiest

antenna you can use to build is what's

called the J pole and this is my j pole

it is a long piece of PVC tubing with

coax at the end and it's a quite a good

length so that i can use at base camp

string around on the table put it in the

backpack but this is you remember TV

antenna wire that flat two strand cable

you can still get a radio shack

this is all it is in here is just goes

up to here

it's cut little bit of solder the tape

PVC and get yourself a really good

antenna with great game and the thing

with J-pole the higher it is the

better the signal strength and reception

so if you really want to get some good

reception or signal strength get

yourself a little the aluminum painter rod

here i found one that was exact that

will fit nicely into the j pole and the

diameter which fit on my tripod and what

you end up with is a antenna that could

go up to over 20 feet so if you're on

the summit this would be a great way to

get the signal out so basically my setup

was it would have my radio strapping on

my shoulder strap i would use a patch

cable use my whip antenna right here and

just hanging outside backpack and have

like basically a radio bag and if i was

at camp are ready to get signal out

would haul out the j pole with the quick

connector with the collapse you just

simply snap out snap it in really quick

changeover and if you were doing some

car camping you can also bring the rod

you can also bring the tripod a really

simple great base station

alright so that is that is my portable

rig you can see here in the backpack

everything kind of fits in and basically

all you need to do is figure out what

kind of radio you want 5 watt radio

dual-band that's a nice start get a nice

whip antenna and then go from there

find the the series of cables patch

cables converters go coax that may

whatever fits your needs you can maybe

make your own antenna repurpose your

camera tripod find the right rod to

really get your antenna up in the air

battery packs solar kits it goes on and

on and on it's fun takes a little bit of

room in your pack

that's why some of the newer

technologies kinda like the DeLorme

inreach & spots the type of satellite

communicators saves a lot of room your

pack for other stuff so it's kind of a

trade-off

so put in the comments what you think

what your setup is what's your best

antenna that you made all that kind of

stuff and we'll see you guys in the next
