[MUSIC PLAYING]

LINDSEY STERLING: I have to say, it's been

the hardest year of my life.

He was my best friend.

He was my first ever band member I

ever had-- toured with me around the world for four years.

And talk about feeling like my heart was ripped out

and wanting to numb more than ever,

just not wanting to feel anything

because it hurt so bad-- just the loss of my best friend.

To be honest, it's been really hard coming on tour again

without him.

But I had just started this journey,

and I was going to stay true to it.

And so I felt the emotions, and once I dealt with them,

I wrote about them.

And that's where this whole Brave Enough concept came from.

I believe so strongly that the key to success

is the ability to rise from failure.

Anyone who's ever succeeded has fallen flat on their face--

not once, not twice, but so many times.

But that's what makes a winner.

That's what makes someone who succeeds--

is not someone who never failed, but it's

someone who knows how to rise time and time again,

and get stronger each time.

It took me a while, it took me many failures

to learn that lesson.

But you know, gosh, I'm glad I didn't give up.

today we have the legendary green lion

as you can see there he is

Ultron's off left-arm so that is really

cool because of fire

new on netflix TV show and I do

apologize if I sound a little funny guys

I do have a flu so doing my best and

then it does include speeder with pilot

pitch interesting name

then there you can see what it looks

like all together and says collect green

lion and red lion to form Voltron sores

so that's where you're going to get the

sword with these two lines so that's

awesome i was wondering where the sword

is because it was not in the black lions

package and this is less than the

package before anything is removed as

you can see Ultron sword is right there

ok guys is here in the green line once

superb job guys I mean I love these

Voltron figures i mean they went all

often quality and looks and everything

so let's first of all check this off

this big weapon on the back does pop off

here it is like God supposed to be

really like a roast launcher something

of mine

fine launcher and then I was fire pretty

piece it then you can go ahead and put

that back in and it doesn't attach to

his back nicely got like a half rounds

off shape here that fits right onto his

back so I locked in nicely and then it

does have 360-degree movement all the

way around and then are the same with

the rest of him like the other figures

off ratcheting locking joint on the legs

there are like the need parts in the

foot part do you move into a lot of

different positions so that is really

cool

scratching on the front part on his knee

on the foot he does have the

spring-loaded mouth just like the other

ones except this one opens his mouth way

up

probably because you know this one or

the red one is going to hold the sword

you can see like to highlight yellow

eyes they're so that's really cool

another thing that school is the

movement on the it's like his waist here

if he's got ratcheting movement here and

locking positions on the side so when

you transform it into an armed you could

put him into a lot of different

positions rubber tale that means in and

out and then you got the little

off-speed are here with fudge driving it

and then I'll just like the other one

the little creature fit in to get this

little opening here he fits right into

here really nicely

I'm it's like he was molded to fit

exactly

into their then close the door so you

don't use this feeder awesome

I really like how they transform these

into the arms they do a great job with

that to the first thing you're going to

do is push the tail and sometimes you

have to twist those a little bit to get

it in then you will totally pull the

legs back in to hear so mad love the way

that they fold all the way in then on

ratchet these forward there and then I

really cool thing about this one it is

its whole body here let's stop so you're

going to go ahead and turn his legs off

over here and then you're going to go

ahead and drop this seat into here and

send them around so it's really cool

that they I mean they could have just

fold it to the side but I you would not

look as realistic so there you have him

I mean you don't see any of his legs

which is really cool and then you've got

this tab here you're going to go ahead

and open that and insert him in as the

arms and then this also does come with

half of the sword here and also comes

with a pool shield here that you attach

to the lion when you form Voltron

so there you have one of his arms really

cool

ok so let's go ahead and listen to this

guy as we put him together because he

does sound really cool does make other

YouTube Star Lindsey Stirling Knew She Didn't Need America's Got Talent | Where Are They Now | OWN - Duration: 2:51.

-My parents, they loved classical music.

And they would always take us to orchestra concerts in the park,

or the community center events.

And, I was no dummy.

I saw that the violins always got the solos,

they always got the melody, they always got the fast, fun parts.

And so when I was five years old,

I started begging for violin lessons.

It was definitely not easy for my parents to get me

violin lessons.

My mom couldn't afford any violin

lessons that she could find.

And so she finally found a college student

that was willing to teach me half lessons,

like 15 minutes a week.

So I came up with this idea of kind of adding

movement to my playing.

I kind of was sitting on this art thinking,

where could I go with this?

And then I decided to take it to "America's Got Talent."

And I remember my thinking was, "If I can get on TV, if I can

just get onto TV, like, talent scouts will see me,

some record labels."

Like, someone's going to see me, and that'll be my big break.

That night did not go as I had hoped it would.

I remember feeling like my dreams

were about to come true as I stepped on that stage

that night,

And I ended up getting X'ed on the show.

Talk about humiliating!

In front of millions and millions of viewers.

And then the judges proceeded to,

you know, the way they do on those shows,

they said that I wasn't good enough.

I don't have what it takes to fill a theater.

You're just not good enough. I was devastated.

And I remember everything inside of me

was trying to keep me from just breaking down into tears.

It's probably about eight months after I was on the show

when I met a cinematographer

named Devin Graham.

And he introduced himself to me as a professional YouTuber.

And I remember kind of squinting like,"What do you mean?"

Like, that's a place for dog and cat videos.

And this was before YouTube was a well-known thing.

Because he put it on his channel and I put it on my channel,

I immediately had this crossover of a bunch

of his fans jumping to my channel to see

what this girl was doing.

It was like, whoa, I'm at 20,000 views!

And my mind was blown.

Dubstep was this new style of music which

was really heavy and intense.

I was like, this is really cool.

I was like, I want to make something that's dubstep,

but that's beautiful in this melodic way.

And so I wrote the song called "Crystallize."

And I remember within 24 hours, it had a million views.

And I remember thinking my computer was broken.

I called my sister, and was like,"Check the view count!

What does it say?"

And as I looked at it, I just remember thinking,

I think my life just changed.

And it just kind of made me realize

I don't have to wait for a record label to believe in me.

I don't have to wait for someone to invest in me.

The tools are right in front of me.

Learn English - Weekly Tip 16 for Chinese Speakers - 'work in' or 'work at'? (with subtitles) - Duration: 2:27.

Hello once again everyone, and welcome

back to 'On English Tip in One Minute for

Chinese speakers (and its many languages

varieties)' In these videos, I show you

each week, like clockwork -- in detail -- one

common English mistake made by Chinese

speakers, and this is video number 16.

So, yeah, I still think it's very cool,

smart and practical for you to improve

your English. Nice work with that. If

you've heard that before then you know

how this works.

I show you a slide, and on the slide

there are two sentences: One is the

correct way a native English speaker

would say it,

the other is the wrong way that many

Chinese speakers say it..and your job is to

decide which one is correct. Do that

now: Read the sentences,

listen to me read the sentences, pause

the video, think about your answer and I

will discuss the answer in the slide

that follows this slide.

OK, so hopefully you got it right, and you

don't need to study this anymore. But if

you got it wrong, or you just happen to

take a wild guess and get it right, then

hopefully you know from the tip why you

got it wrong.

What you have to do now is you have

to start studying, of course, to get past

this mistake. To start you off on that

path -- and it's a very simple beginning --

I've given you three sentences to study

from. Memorize the whole sentences -- it's

very important to memorize the whole

sentences, and not just words or parts --

drill them into your brain and put into

practice what you've learned through

speaking or writing or both.

Why not go outside of these videos

and learn from other sources as well.

THIS IS THE FIFTH YEAR FOR THE
