Waching daily Sep 21 2017

you must have a lot of money because you're always travelling - Mike how do you

afford it you must be rich. Are your parents rich? Have you got rich parents?

Are they giving you money for your travels no no no and no traveling doesn't cost a

lot of money it really doesn't it especially if

you're from a country like England where just staying alive costs a hell of a lot

of money I thought I'd use this opportunity whilst I am spending a night

in a pretty standard kind of motel type place in Albuquerque on my way from...

well I left Texas Buffalo Texas this morning drove 750 miles and I thought

I'd use this opportunity just to kind of explain to the people who say things

like this to me oh you must be rich you must have a lot of money that actually

it doesn't need to cost a lot it's not free but you don't have to be rich rich

okay you can travel on very little as I do this travel lodge tonight cost me $30

okay I think it's like 34 dollars to be to be completely fair about 34 dollars

and that's typical I mean you can just google this stuff is it's not like

rocket science but this Travel Lodge cost me about $34 okay?

now when I was living in Oxford my rent was fairly typical - it was, well

exactly £600 a month which is around $900 for a month

~900 let's call it $1,000 a month okay so first of all in having moved out

of my apartment back home and now living here I have saved a thousand dollars a

month which is now kind of in my pocket and actually I could stay at a Travel

Lodge like this full-time every night and - let's call it $30 for 30 nights what's

that that's $900 isn't it yeah $900 so my point being I could actually move

into this Travel Lodge and live here forever I wouldn't want to as you'll see

in a minute but I could just on the rent I've saved from being in England so if

you got to go traveling go travel long term take like

two three four months okay long enough so that you can move out of your

accommodation / the apartment you're renting - put all your stuff in boxes

leave it at your mum's house or your dad's house or your mates house or put

in storage if you want pay a hundred quid for a month or a couple of months

and just put it away box it up and move out of your apartment then you you

travel with a little case like this and... you're good to go really!

okay food depending which country you're in: if you're in China or India

Sri Lanka I mean generally speaking the poorer country is the less you can eat

for ie the cheaper the food is. In America it's not quite like that I mean -

for a good meal here you need to be paying twenty thirty dollars for a

decent meal - it depends on the city but I don't really eat

meals out I might have like one meal every couple of days but the places I

tend to stay like this place here even though it's $30 a night I

still get breakfast in the morning so I eat as much as I can I'll put an apple

in my pocket I'll take some oats in fact my dinner tonight let me show you my

dinner tonight it's a bit of a mess but okay so I've got a bag of bananas which

I bought a bunch of bananas those were 25 cents each just some like pretty

generic cakes type stuff - I've got an Apple which I've robbed from breakfast I've

got some pop-tarts which I bought the other day and I've got a sachet of oats here

just like brewing which I had for breakfast and it looks disgusting isn't it you're

probably all going

like that. I've already eaten a banana and I'm even eating some doritos with a bit of nacho

sauce which I kept from my burrito bag earlier I mean this is kind of wrank but

my point being like my dinner tonight has cost me okay most of its free like

that oats the Apple or the Apple was free the burrito is like a dollar the

crisps were like $2 bananas were like $1 for like four bananas so like my entire

food today has cost me like four dollars so I've spent four dollars on my entire

food for a day okay now four times 30 120 dollars so you're looking at $120 for food

for a month now that's like really pushing it and I wouldn't probably quite

push it that far but my point being doesn't have to cost much look at my

bathroom this is what a $30 a night Travel Lodge will get you okay smells of

urine the toilet is horrible but it's... it is what it is and you know what I just

had a cold shower why have I had a cold shower? because guess what there's no a/c

here now I want to change the and it's 40 degrees out I want to change the kind

of the point of this not just being about you know how to be a weirdo and

eat junk and like nasty food for free but what it actually does and this

you know - changing topics slightly - it gives you the sense of freedom

independence and... what's the word i'm looking for?

just control in a sense that everything is going to be okay because you know

what - I mean I'm I don't want to make out like I'm living in third world

conditions like I've got a bed to sleep and I've got a roof over my head you

know I have slept in a lot worse and this is

actually quite comfortable okay and I mean that relatively it's actually quite

comfortable but and here's the point in I mean like if I

wanted to work harder and you know try and get a top top position that yeah you

can you can live more comfortably but the point I'm making is that in proving

to yourself that you can live on thirty dollars a day 20 dollars a day 35

dollars a day as today's cost me - it's like you you give yourself that

knowledge that power that freedom that actually it's gonna be okay

because worst case if I have to eat oats for a week or eat beans for two weeks

and rice and nothing else - so what? like is that really the worst that can happen

is that the worst case is that what I'm afraid of is that what I'm like freaking

out about college and uni and school and my job for so that I can afford this so

that I don't have to be in a position of eating rice and beans? well you know what

like living on $20-$30 a day isn't that bad I mean these trousers I'm wearing now

I've got them in the sale that were $10 I've had this belt for literally about

six years this t-shirt I don't even know where it came from but I wear it all the

time and I think it was probably my brothers and I really really just kind

of and I'm not I don't have a lot of like... I'm certainly not from a

wealthy family I don't have a lot of money but I do travel a lot as you can

see and it doesn't actually have to cost a lot that's the point of this video I

hope you enjoyed watching quite a long one but I hope you took something

valuable from it

David Wilcock Facebook Update - September 18, 2017

I am enjoying a much-needed break in Canada and have just recently gotten out of an internet

blackout zone.

It's nice to have access again, I must say!

There are some very fascinating developments that may move in favor of disclosure happening

bigger and faster than we had anticipated.

I hope we will be able to talk about some of them soon enough.

We may very well see things move much faster than the alleged "Partial Disclosure" scenario.

At the same time, the loyal opposition wants both Corey and me gone more than ever.

We have been given very specific information about the nature and severity of the threats.

It has never been more perilous.

This is not a joke.

We are not going to be actively hunted down, so we are told, but if there is a "window

of opportunity" where either of us are in the right place at the right time, they feel

they "Must" make an effort to do it.

This could actually take the form of a larger violent event that "just so happens" to occur

wherever either of us might be.

Thankfully the Alliance is aware of this and has our backs like never before.

I haven't personally seen anything or anyone but am aware that this greater protection

now exists.

I don't get the sense that there are any "windows" for such incidents where I am now, but this

has definitely been unsettling.

As a result I have kept fairly quiet and am just trying to enjoy some vacation time.

The shamanic principle of "Using Death as an Advisor" has been useful for me.

I am looking at my life and thinking about what works and what doesn't, what can be changed

and how to accomplish that for the greater good.

There is a whole lot of movement going on right now and I feel calm and secure.

I am choosing to focus on the positives of the news we are hearing.

At some point soon I will summarize the developments over the last month, as there are a huge number

of tangible signposts that we are seeing some action take place.

I am waiting for a rainy day here to take the time to write this all up now that I have

access... so stay tuned!

The Mystery Of Spontaneous Human Combustion - Duration: 5:30.

You know the story: A perfectly normal person suddenly catches on fire and poof, they're

gone.

For years, spontaneous human combustion, or SHC, has baffled scientists and amateur paranormal

investigators alike.

Like any other paranormal phenomenon, there are a number of logical explanations for spontaneous

human combustion.

Whether or not you believe them, on the other hand, is entirely up to you.

The burning question

It takes a lot of energy to burn a human body.

According to body burning experts, because those guys definitely exist, it takes somewhere

between 1400 and 1800 degrees Fahrenheit to cremate a human being.

That's a lot hotter than a match, candle, or cigarette — the usual suspects in a case

of SHC.

And yet, according to a survey from the Journal of Clinical Forensic Medicine, suspected cases

of spontaneous human combustion completely reduce the victim's body to ash.

"Goodnight sweet prince."

Even stranger, the victims' surroundings in these cases usually don't burn, even if they

consist of flammable materials, which seems counter-intuitive given how intense the necessary

fires must be.

Human candles

There's actually a widely accepted theory that explains away almost everything about

spontaneous combustion.

It's a phenomenon called the "the wick effect," which says that the human body can act sort

of like a candle under the right conditions.

According to the theory, if a person's clothing catches on fire by, say, a stray cinder from

a nearby fireplace or a dropped cigarette — the heat can split the skin and melt the

victim's body fat.

The fat becomes a source of fuel that keeps the fire going, like an oil lamp.

If you've ever had a grease fire in your kitchen, it's basically like that, except...with a

person.

"Haha."

Heated debate

The wick effect explains most spontaneous human combustion cases, but not all of them.

And, as with anything that's possibly paranormal, there are a number of alternate theories out

there.

Researcher Brian J. Ford argues that it may be caused by ketosis, a condition that often

happens in people with drinking problems in which a glucose-starved body starts feeding

on fat.

Ketosis increases the body's acetone levels, and since acetone is flammable, the person

is more likely to catch on fire.

Other theories aren't so reasonable.

At least one scientist thinks that ball lightning, a largely unexplained scientific phenomenon,

might cause SHC.

Some paranormal researchers even think that SHC might be related to poltergeists.

Those are interesting theories, but come on… it's obviously Aragorn every time.

Rise to flame

One of the most famous modern cases of spontaneous human combustion occurred in 1951, when a

67-year-old widow named Mary Reeser died in a mysterious fire in her St. Petersburg, Florida

apartment.

The mysterious fire propelled the city of St. Petersburg into the national spotlight,

and attracted the attention of amateur sleuths all over the country.

But there may be a perfectly logical explanation for Reeser's demise.

In 2009, reporter Jerry Blizin, who covered the Reeser story in 1951, revisited the famous

case, now armed with some additional details provided by the FBI.

The FBI concluded that the fire had been started by Reeser's cigarette.

"Thank you for not smoking."

Murder charge

Spontaneous human combustion may or may not be real, but it does have real-life consequences

— including, in at least one case, keeping a suspected murderer out of jail.

According to a Doctor's Review article, a woman named Nicole Millet — a notorious

drunk — burned to death in her kitchen one night in 1725.

Her husband was convicted of the murder and given a death sentence, but a physician named

Claude-Nicolas Le Cat convinced the court that Nicole spontaneously combusted.

Most gullible judge ever?

Yeah, we'll go with that.

Political fuel

If you haven't noticed by now, alcohol plays a big role in spontaneous human combustion

cases.

In fact, the link between drinking and supposed cases of SHC was so well documented that,

in 1799, a physician even listed which spirits were most likely to cause SHC.

Bad science or not, the public association between alcohol and SHC fanned the fires of

the temperance movement.

Throughout the 1800s, prohibitionists used anecdotal accounts of spontaneous combustion

to push the anti-alcohol agenda.

Claiming that the easiest way to avoid exploding is to simply stop drinking is a pretty compelling

argument, after all.

Spontaneous human combustion actually became one of the main arguments for temperance arguments

until roughly 1928.

A modern problem

Don't be fooled: while the history of spontaneous human combustion is filled with pseudoscience,

it still crops up in the modern age.

A BBC article reports that in 2010, a 76-year-old man named Michael Faherty died at his home

in Ireland.

According to reports, he was burned to a crisp.

Dr. Ciaran McLoughlin, the coroner who handled Faherty's case, was baffled.

Left with a blank death certificate, McLoughlin only had one choice.

He told the BBC:

"This fire was thoroughly investigated and I'm left with the conclusion that this fits

into the category of spontaneous human combustion, for which there is no adequate explanation."

Was it really spontaneous human combustion, or was McLoughlin simply out of options?

We'll leave it to you to decide.

NIRMALA SITHARAMAN WILL HAVE TO BREAK THE LOGJAM OVER MODERN INFANTRY VEHICLES - Duration: 3:17.

Defence minister Nirmala Sitharaman will have to step in to break the continuing deadlock

over the long-delayed "Make in India" project to produce over 2,300 future infantry combat

vehicles (FICVs) for the Army at an estimated cost of about Rs 60,000 crore.

The mega FICV project, first accorded "acceptance of necessity" by the defence ministry (MoD)

way back in October 2009, remains stuck in bureaucratic bottlenecks and wrangling, corporate

rivalry and controversies, say sources.

To further queer the pitch, the US has also offered India the development and production

of armoured personnel carriers in a trilateral venture with Israel under the Defence Technology

and Trade Initiative (DTTI), which is likely to figure in the discussions between Sitharaman

and her American counterpart James Mattis later this month, as was earlier reported

by TOI.

Under the original FICV project, two of the five Indian private firms in the fray, apart

from the Ordnance Factory Board (OFB), were to be selected to design and build prototypes.

With the government funding 80% of the developmental cost, which would amount to about Rs 3,000

crore, the best prototype was to get the go-ahead for mass production.

The almost 12-lakh strong Army was initially slated to induct 835 new FICVs by 2017, with

another 1,479 coming in by 2022.

The private contenders are L&T, Mahindra, Pipavav Defence & Offshore Engineering and

two consortium of TATA Motors-Bharat Forge and TATA Power SED-Titagarh Wagons.

But sources say there continues to be a major disagreement within the MoD over the number

of private contenders that should be asked to make detailed project reports.

One section wants all five to get the opportunity.

The other contends only the two which are selected should be involved in the process

to avoid further delays and costs.

"This has stalled the entire process for long despite the MoD's integrated project management

team having evaluated the EoI (expression of interest) responses submitted by the OFB

and five private vendors," said a source.

The first defence acquisitions council chaired by Sitharaman will have to take a call on

the matter.

Incidentally, no major "Make in India" project in defence production, from new-generation

stealth submarines to light utility helicopters, is yet to actually take concrete shape on

the ground.

The Army, on its part, desperately requires gradual replacement of its old Russian-origin

BMP-II infantry combat vehicles.

While such amphibious vehicles may not have as much firepower and protection as main-battle

tanks, they have their own anti-tank missiles, cannons and machine guns to ensure swift troop

mobility in a battlefield.

Maserati Quattroporte (2013-...) buying advice - Duration: 8:04.

This is the most recent generation Maserati Quattroporte.

It's the successor of the Quattroporte with the wonderful V8 sound.

That was a successful car. I see them a lot. It's cool.

This Quattroporte was introduced in 2013. It's the 6th generation.

It's a size bigger.

I don't know if Maserati agrees, but I think the 5th generation was succeeded by this Quattroporte

and the Ghibli; the model below.

This one is larger; a big limousine. It's the size of a 7 Series, S-Class, and Audi A8.

It has Italian flair, which can be a disadvantage. We all know that.

Still, the car has character, which you love or not.

There are 3 engine options. That's more than the previous generation Quattroporte.

A V6, a V8 with 523 hp, and an unholy diesel.

The latter was an important engine for Europe.

ENGINES gasoline, diesel

Maserati's network is vast. There's a Maserati dealer in my backyard.

At the RAC or "Rotterdamse Antiek Centrale" as they like to call it.

The number of Quattroportes for sale... It was an expensive car.

Only a handful are for sale on Marktplaats.

50% has a diesel engine, the other 50% has a gasoline engine.

I think that's about the same for the sales figures.

If you're looking for a second-hand Quattroporte, you'll have to be fast when you find the one.

If you want to buy one, there are a number of things to watch out for.

I wasn't impressed by the V8. It should have 523 hp, but I didn't feel it back then.

I'm driving the V6 now and there's little difference.

When comparing 2 cars, test if the price difference of the V8 is worth it for you.

Yes, you can haggle over the interior. There are Chrysler influences. Maserati is part of the concern.

Satnavs are used in American cars too. Is that such a bad thing?

It is what it is.

Good to know: the pedals can be adjusted electronically.

I just realized. There's a button under your seat. You'll feel a kind of joystick.

You can move the pedals closer or further away.

That's rare. It's nice to find the right position.

The gear selector isn't great because it's not a physical lever you put it reverse.

It's an electronic-mechanical thing. Sometimes it doesn't do what you want.

I think I'll never agree with this thing, but you learn to live with it.

Another thing to know: maneuvering in cold weather with wide sporty tires

makes it hobble over the tread blocks.

The differential lock can make sounds too, but this is no problem when steering in cold weather.

If you hear strange sounds in different conditions and you're in doubt, have it checked.

This is a no-brainer, but a Quattroporte eats tires.

You're used to it when buying cars like this.

There are a number of electronic things to watch out for.

You can insert your jokes about Italian electronics here, but it's not all that bad.

Check everything, but you do that with every car.

This class can have lots of features, such as power seats.

Check if they move when you push the buttons.

It's not a known issue, but still. You can control the vents using the touchscreen.

There are complaints that only some vents work. That's something to check.

The Bluetooth connection with the infotainment system...

Older phones and the early versions of the infotainment system isn't a great combination.

This doesn't always work. Audio streaming may not work.

You could buy a new Quattroporte, but I think a new phone is cheaper.

Older phones have this problem.

The power windows sit in pillarless doors. You could call it coupe doors.

The window lowers a bit and goes back up automatically.

It lowers when you open the door and goes back up when you close the door.

This can malfunction.

You can reset the windows by rolling it up all the way and holding the button for 3 seconds. Repeat.

It should have reset after 3 times.

This bella macchina is a pretty Quattroporte with a gasoline V6 engine.

It looks chic with the flat-colored wood. We found it at RAC, the new Maserati dealer in Rotterdam.

I'm happy I got to borrow it. A Quattroporte may not be the best car in its class, but it makes you greedy.

It's cooler than the boring German stuff.

The boring German stuff is good, but this is a fun car.

The V6 sound good. It's a nice engine.
