okay so you know how important it is to have a YouTube strategy for your

business you're in now you just need to figure out how to start creating a

YouTube strategy that works with your business you get the big picture but how

does it all fit together in today's video I'm going to walk you through how you

can start creating a youtube strategy for your business hey guys my name is

Trena and welcome to another episode of just the tips on this channel I provide

online entrepreneurs tips tricks and strategies on how they can use video on

YouTube in their business if you've been following my recent series here on my

channel all about using YouTube in your business we talked about how to grow

your business here on YouTube we talked about how to get started here on YouTube

you can check out those videos on that playlist right up here but in today's

video I'm gonna walk you through how to start creating that strategy here for

YouTube so the first thing you're going to want to do to create this strategy is

start coming up with ideas so where do you come up with these video ideas the

first place I would suggest is check your email what kind of questions are

you getting from clients that you are getting asked all the time what are the

type of questions that you see in facebook groups revolving around your

niche all the time start writing these down and make a list I like to use

Trello to just brain them and have it all electronically but a notebook is

just as good the second step you're gonna want to do is create an opt-in for

these videos so what you want to do is when somebody watches your video you

want them to take the next step and get on your email list this is how you can

start nurturing that relationship even more and getting in their inbox now I

don't want you to create an opt-in for every single video create like two or

three opt-ins that really work into your content so for me I provide a ten step

checklist that you can get you can click the card right here to get my youtube

channel checklist which is ten steps to set up your YouTube channel think about

what kind of checklist can you create is it an e-book is it a worksheet is it

some swipe files what's an opt-in that's going to provide

that viewer that watches your video more value and makes them want to get that

opt-in then step three is the most important step you got that person to

watch your video you got that person to

gave you their email so start building that relationship the third step is to

create an email sequence within your email platform whether that's convertkit

aweber whatever it is create an email sequence that's gonna start building

that relationship with them a little more give them more value get them

engaged ask them a question get them to respond to you maybe you even send them

to another video that you did on YouTube that's a tutorial that's really gonna

help them by providing all this helpful content and connecting with them in

their inbox they're gonna be much more likely to buy from you when it comes

time to pitch them your course or your book or your services now the last step

that I want you to do is to create a blog post whether it's just a summary of

your video or it is the transcript of your video I want you to create a blog

post and embed your video into that blog post and promote the heck out of it

create an image for Pinterest share it on Pinterest share it on Facebook share

it on Instagram tell your email list that you have this

video the more eyes you get on this video the more likely that video is

going to get shared and get out to even more people which leads more people into

your opt-in on your email list creating this type of content that your ideal

client wants in these is the best way to get them on your email us trust me I've

seen multiple clients and students do this by getting somebody to watch their

video opting in and converting them into a paying client now if you're ready to

IT'S LIKE, "WHAT HAVE I GOTTEN MYSELF INTO?"

HAVE YOU EVER THOUGHT THAT?

YOU STEPPED OUT INTO SOMETHING AND THEN YOU THOUGHT,

"WHAT HAVE I DONE?

WHAT HAVE I GOTTEN MYSELF INTO?" WELL, YOU KNOW,

WHEN YOU DO A PUZZLE, YOU START WITH THE EDGE PIECES FIRST,

'CAUSE THEY'RE ALL PRETTY EASY, SO.

GOD, USUALLY IN THE BEGINNING, WILL GIVE US SOME

RATHER EASY STUFF TO DO JUST TO KINDA GET US STARTED,

YOU KNOW?

AND THE THING THAT I LIKE TO MAKE A POINT OUT OF IS,

IN MOST PUZZLES, ESPECIALLY IF IT'S A SCENERY PICTURE,

WHICH A LOT OF THEM ARE, AND I DON'T KNOW IF YOU'VE EVER

THOUGHT ABOUT THIS OR NOT, BUT 60% TO 70% OF THE PUZZLE

IS ALL BLUE SKY AND GREEN GRASS.

JOYCE: AND I CAN TELL YOU, SOME OF YOU RIGHT NOW,

YOU ARE SO TIRED OF PUTTING TOGETHER BLUE SKY.

BUT THAT'S WHAT A LOT OF LIFE IS,

AND NOBODY HAS A MESSAGE TO BRING YOU

THAT'S GONNA CHANGE THAT.

AND THEY'D BE LYING IF THEY SAID THAT THEY DID.

BUT THERE IS A WAY, THERE IS A WAY

THAT YOU CAN MAKE ORDINARY, EVERYDAY LIFE

EXTREMELY EXTRAORDINARY, AND THAT IS WHEN YOU LEARN

HOW TO DO LIFE WITH GOD.

WHICH IS NOT HARD, BUT WHAT I'M GONNA SHARE

WITH YOU TODAY WAS PROBABLY ONE OF THE MOST PROFOUND THINGS

THAT EVER HAPPENED TO ME IN MY SPIRITUAL WALK.

I JUST REALIZE I DIDN'T FINISH THE STORY ABOUT MIKE,

SO I'LL GO BACK AND FINISH IT.

THIS MORNING, I REALIZED I DIDN'T FINISH

A STORY I STARTED LAST NIGHT.

[AUDIENCE LAUGHING]

JOYCE: MIKE BECAME SO SERIOUS AS A CHRISTIAN.

AND ONE NIGHT, HE WAS SOUND ASLEEP,

AND PENNY WOKE HIM UP AND SAID, "MIKE!"

"WHAT? WHAT?

WHAT?" "MIKE, ARE YOU EVER GONNA

MAKE ME LAUGH AGAIN?" AND HE SAID, "WHAT?

WHAT ARE YOU--WHAT?

WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?" FIRST HE DIDN'T GET IT.

THEN, ABOUT A WEEK LATER, HIS MOTHER CALLED HIM AND SAID,

"MIKE, ARE WE EVER GONNA TALK ABOUT SPORTS AGAIN?"

SEE, WHEN HE BECAME A SERIOUS CHRISTIAN,

HE FORGOT ABOUT EVERYTHING ELSE IN LIFE

EXCEPT JUST DOING SOMETHING THAT HE THOUGHT WAS SPIRITUAL.

AND I REMEMBER GOING THROUGH THE SAME THING

WHERE I ACTUALLY FELT GUILTY JUST DOING ANYTHING ORDINARY.

AND EVEN WHEN I WAS DOING ORDINARY THINGS,

I DIDN'T ENJOY THEM.

I JUST WANTED TO RUSH THROUGH THEM

AND GET THEM OVER WITH SO I COULD DO SOMETHING

THAT I THOUGHT WAS SPIRITUAL.

YOU KNOW WHY?

BECAUSE I FELT THAT I WAS MORE PLEASING TO GOD--COME ON NOW,

YOU'RE GONNA GET THIS TODAY.

I FELT THAT I WAS MORE PLEASING TO GOD

IF I WAS PRAYING, OR STUDYING THE BIBLE,

OR GOING TO CHURCH THAN I COULD'VE BEEN

IF I WAS WATCHING TV OR SWEEPING THE FLOOR.

DO YOU KNOW THAT LIGHTING A CANDLE IN A CHURCH

IS NO MORE SACRED THAN LIGHTING THE CANDLES ON YOUR

2-YEAR-OLD'S BIRTHDAY CAKE?

[AUDIENCE APPLAUDING]

JOYCE: IF YOU'RE DOING IT WITH AND FOR GOD.

NOW, I DON'T CARE WHAT KIND OF A LIFE YOU HAVE,

YOU'RE NEVER GONNA REALLY ENJOY YOUR LIFE

BECAUSE GOD WON'T LET YOU IF YOU TRY TO DO IT

APART FROM HIM.

THE WAY TO BRING ENTHUSIASM INTO EVERY ORDINARY DAY

IS TO DO--TO LEARN-- LEARN COLOSSIANS 3,

NOT JUST AS A SCRIPTURE, BUT SOMETHING WE PUT

INTO PRACTICE IN OUR LIFE.

"DO EVERYTHING IN THE NAME OF JESUS

IN DEPENDENCE UPON HIS PERSON, GIVING PRAISE AND GLORY TO HIM."

EVERYTHING, EVERYTHING THAT WE DO.

JOYCE: I HOPE THAT I CAN CONVEY TO YOU

IN THE LITTLE BIT OF TIME THAT I HAVE THIS MORNING

HOW LIFE-CHANGING THIS WAS FOR ME

WHEN I STOPPED DIVIDING THE SACRED FROM THE SECULAR,

AND I REALIZED THAT EVERYTHING BECAME SACRED IF I DID IT

WITH AND FOR GOD.

COME ON, YOU GONNA LIKE THIS TODAY.

THIS IS GONNA HELP YOU.

JOYCE: GOD DIDN'T MEET WITH MOSES IN A TEMPLE.

HE MET WITH HIM AT A BUSH.

COME ON, A BUSH!

AND WHEN GOD SHOWED UP IN THE BUSH,

THE GROUND BECAME HOLY.

SO, EVERYTHING THAT WE DO, IF WE DO IT WITH AND FOR GOD,

IT BECOMES HOLY.

WHOO!

EVERYTHING WE DO.

JOYCE: YOU KNOW, YES, I LIKE LOOKING GOOD,

BUT ONE OF THE REASONS WHY I EXERCISE

AND WALK 5 MILES A DAY, I'M DOING IT FOR GOD

BECAUSE HE TOLD ME 12 YEARS AGO, "IF YOU DON'T START TAKING

BETTER CARE OF YOURSELF, YOU ARE NOT GONNA BE STRONG

FOR THE LAST THIRD OF YOUR JOURNEY."

AND I WANNA FINISH WHAT GOD HAS CALLED ME TO DO,

SO I KNOW THAT IN ORDER TO DO WHAT I'M DOING AT MY AGE,

I HAVE TO DO THAT.

AND SO, IT IS SOMETHING THAT I'M DOING FOR GOD.

THEREFORE, EVEN THOUGH IT'S HARD,

I CAN ACTUALLY TELL YOU I ENJOY IT,

BECAUSE I DO A LOT OF MY PRAYING WHILE I'M WALKING AND

I TALK TO GOD WHILE I'M WALKING.

WE GOTTA UNDERSTAND THAT GOD'S NOT STUCK IN A CHURCH SOMEWHERE.

HE'S EVERYWHERE AND GOD-- NOW LISTEN TO THIS.

GOD IS NEVER MORE THAN ONE THOUGHT AWAY FROM YOU.

DID YOU HEAR THAT?

GOD IS NEVER MORE THAN ONE THOUGHT AWAY FROM YOU.

HE'S HERE ALL THE TIME, BUT YOU CAN BRING HIM

RIGHT INTO YOUR AWARENESS JUST BY THINKING ABOUT HIM.

PRAYER IS JUST HAVING A CONVERSATION WITH GOD.

FOR SO MANY YEARS, EVEN AS A WOMAN WHO LOVED GOD,

HE WAS JUST THIS LITTLE SPIRITUAL PART OF MY LIFE.

HE LIVED IN A LITTLE SUNDAY MORNING BOX.

AND THE REST OF THE WEEK, I TRIED TO DO LIFE ON MY OWN.

AND I ONLY CALLED ON HIM WHEN I HAD A CRISIS.

I ONLY CALLED ON HIM WHEN I THOUGHT

I WAS OVER MY HEAD.

WELL, YOU SEE, I'VE LEARNED THAT I'M ALWAYS OVER MY HEAD.

JOYCE: I MEAN, I AM SO FAR OVER MY HEAD,

YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW MUCH TROUBLE I WOULD BE IN

IF GOD DIDN'T HELP ME, AMEN?

NOBODY WAS TEACHING ME ANY BETTER.

AND BACK IN THE '70S WHEN GOD REALLY TOUCHED MY LIFE,

DURING THE OUTPOURING OF THE HOLY SPIRIT

THAT WAS TAKING PLACE AT THAT TIME--AND BY THE WAY,

YOU DON'T HAVE TO WAIT FOR SOME SPECIAL OUTPOURING.

YOU CAN HAVE MORE OF GOD ANYTIME YOU WANT TO.

ANYBODY CAN BE AS CLOSE TO GOD AS THEY WANT TO.

IT ALL DEPENDS ON HOW MUCH TIME YOU'RE WILLING TO PUT INTO IT.

YES, I SAID ANYBODY CAN BE AS CLOSE TO GOD AS THEY WANT TO.

IT ALL DEPENDS ON HOW MUCH TIME YOU'RE WILLING TO PUT INTO IT.

[AUDIENCE APPLAUDING]

JOYCE: ANYBODY CAN MAKE AN ADJUSTMENT HERE TODAY AND SAY,

"FROM NOW ON, GOD, YOU'RE GONNA BE FIRST IN MY LIFE.

YOU'RE NOT GONNA BE SECOND, YOU'RE NOT GONNA BE THIRD,

YOU'RE NOT GONNA BE AFTER MY JOB,

AFTER THIS, AFTER THAT.

YOU'RE GONNA BE FIRST.

AND I DON'T CARE WHAT ELSE HAS TO BE CUT OUT,

YOU'RE GONNA BE FIRST."

GOD IS BEFORE MY MINISTRY IN MY LIFE.

HE'S BEFORE EVERYTHING ELSE.

AND THE MORE I LEARN THAT, THE HAPPIER I GET.

RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD IS NOT SUPPOSED TO BE A BURDEN,

IT'S SUPPOSED TO BE A LOT OF FUN, JOYFUL.

AND I'LL TELL YOU SOMETHING THAT HAS HAPPENED TO ME

OVER THE 40 YEARS THAT I'VE BEEN SERVING GOD,

AND IF YOU'RE NOT HERE, I PRAY THAT SOMETHING

I SAY TODAY WILL HELP YOU GET THERE.

I AM JUST REALLY COMFORTABLE WITH GOD.

[AUDIENCE APPLAUDING]

JOYCE: I MEAN, I'M JUST COMFORTABLE WITH THE LORD.

I DON'T FEEL LIKE I HAVE TO PRETEND.

I DON'T FEEL LIKE I HAVE TO PUT ON AIRS.

I DON'T FEEL LIKE I HAVE TO TRY TO IMPRESS HIM.

GOD HAS TAUGHT ME, "JOYCE, I KNEW WHAT I WAS GETTING

WHEN I GOT YOU."

[AUDIENCE LAUGHING]

JOYCE: "AND THERE IS NOTHING THAT YOU DO THAT WILL SHOCK ME."

[AUDIENCE LAUGHING]

JOYCE: "BECAUSE I ALREADY KNEW EVERY WRONG THING

YOU WERE GONNA DO BEFORE YOU EVER DID IT,

I KNOW EVERY WORD IN YOUR MOUTH THAT YOU HAVE NOT YET SPOKEN,

AND I KNOW EVERY THOUGHT THAT YOU HAVE NOT YET LET DRIFT

THROUGH YOUR MIND, AND I LOVE YOU ANYWAY."

JOYCE: AMEN?

AND I FELT LIKE GOD TOLD ME AWHILE BACK,

I WAS TRYING TO CHANGE SOMETHING, HE SAID,

"YOU KNOW, I LIKE YOU JUST THE WAY YOU ARE."

YOU SEE, YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO WITH THAT.

JOYCE: ONE MAN OVER HERE WENT...

JOYCE: YEAH, HE LIKES YOU JUST THE WAY YOU ARE.

I DIDN'T SAY HE LIKES ALL THE STUFF WE DO THAT'S WRONG,

BUT HE LIKES YOU.

THERE IS A DIFFERENCE.

YOU GOTTA SEPARATE YOUR "WHO" FROM YOUR "DO."

JOYCE: I AM A CHILD OF GOD.

AND SO FULL OF JOY THAT THE FIRST THING

HE WANTED TO DO WAS HAVE A PARTY.

AND I LOVE THIS, DON'T MISS WHAT I'M GONNA SAY.

THE ELDER BROTHER REFUSED TO GO IN.

HE STAYED OUTSIDE AND HAD A BAD ATTITUDE.

BUT YOU KNOW WHAT I NOTICE?

THAT DIDN'T KEEP GOD FROM THROWING THE PARTY.

- [John Leguizamo] The Earth gets more energy from the sun

in one day than the whole world's population

uses in an entire year.

Solar energy is a clean, abundant resource

that is growing at staggering rates while costs plummet.

Solar panels turn sunlight into electricity

which can be used to meet most, or even all,

of a household's energy needs.

During the day, most rooftop solar owners

produce more electricity than they use.

When that happens, the electricity meter

literally runs backwards,

sending the excess energy back to the grid.

This process is called netmetering.

Most local governments have a system of solar credits

that require utilities to pay consumers

for the energy they generate for the grid.

At night, or any time a household is using more energy

than its solar panels are generating,

the extra energy needed is pulled from the grid,

and those solar credits are then used.

It's like rollover minutes for your energy bill.

Paying homeowners back for the energy

they contribute to the grid just makes sense.

But some utilities want to take the energy

solar home contribute to the grid

without fairly compensating the owners.

Attacks on netmetering policies are unfair to homeowners

and small business owners, and put hundreds of thousands

of American solar jobs at risk.

By supporting netmetering rights, we will ensure

the future continues to be bright for solar.

She's our sacrifice for today

I'll start bleaching her hair

This is the first stage of bleaching

The proportion of bleach and oxidizer is 6 to 4

Sorry, that just made my heart sing, yes Ariana, I love it.

And here's the thing, when this sort of situation comes up.

The issue becomes - Oh but she didn't mean it, oh but he's a really nice guy, it's a joke,

he's not actually racist I mean he would never hurt a black person didn't you hear

me when I just said he's a really nice guy

Whether or not you want to condemn someone is a separate issue.

People nowadays act like being called racist is the ultimate condemnation of pure evil.

When it's really not.

On it's most basic level it just boils down to racial prejudice.

Which you probably have it you're using racial slurs.

Especially for groups that you don't belong to.

For groups that have been historically oppressed.

For groups that no, will not teach you how to Dougie.

The point here is not to condemn someone, the point is to show that this is completely

unacceptable behavior.

We're talking about your actions here.

Now I am fine with black people reclaiming the word for use within the group.

I used to be more against the in general, but honestly Solange changed my mind.

And by us I mean black people, not just brown, black.

If you're black it's a way to acknowledge that part of your history and how the world

has viewed us through that lens,

take that world, and strip it of it's power by using it as a familial term that reflects

how we've risen from being solely defined and condemned by that word.

And thrown in there is a rejection of respectability politics, or the idea that black folks have

to be respectable and proper in order to earn their humanity.

Which they don't.

Non black folks shouldn't ever use the n-word because 1, it's a slur, and 2, black people

have specifically and repeatedly said that it is offensive,

and we were the ones who were originally called that word and have to deal with the modern

day consequences.

Thanks to history, white folks got decades and centuries of preferential treatment, and we

got to say this one word.

Not a fair trade, but honestly just take the deal.

We get to reclaim a term as endearing at best, self deprecating at worst.

And like most things that can be self deprecating, if it's said by an outsider is insulting.

Bottom line, just don't use racial slurs.

That's like "How to not be racist: 101".

Are You In A Simulation? - Duration: 7:20.

Vsauce, I'm Jake and we are living in a simulation.

Or at least that's what the simulation hypothesis proposes.

That if a civilization, a posthuman civilization, were to become significantly technologically

advanced than we would most likely be a simulated.

There are two worlds, two realities.

The primary world which is where the simulation is being run and the secondary world, the

simulated universe we occupy which to us, is the only one.

And when creating this world, there are three steps to successfully making the user believe

it to be real: Immersion, Absorption, and Saturation.

Think about video games like Age of Empires, Civilization, The Sims.

They're about recreating or mimicking reality..reliving past events or creating new ones.

And in 20 years we went from games looking like this to this.

As visuals advance, as the experiences become more immersive and digital characters start

reacting seemingly on their own, our understanding of what is real and what isn't starts to

blur.

Now characters in video games are bound by a set of rules, a set of defining laws.

A sim can't walk through a solid wall, even though it isn't actually solid it is just

lines of code that dictate what is or is not solid but it is called a wall.

Now think of our own world.

This is a collection of atoms that together form an object that we call a wall.

It's been atomically programmed to form a specific shape.

We are left with something that looks like, that feels like a wall.

We don't see the microscopic pieces that build it, just like we don't see the code

in a game.

We just expect it to act a certain way because of how our world is designed.

We trust that it is made of something physical, not just a programmed artificial boundary.

When someone comes to your house, how do they get there?

Do you see them leave, do you see them on their drive?

They leave their home, time passes, and there they are.

It's World Gestalt, a structure or configuration of details which together implies the existence

of a world, and causes the audience to fill in the missing pieces of that world based

on details given.

If I walk off frame left you'd imagine I'd come back around.

But if I come back from somewhere unexpected, your perception has been minutely fractured.

It's that World Gestalt, that assumption of how things should be that allows a simulated

reality to function.

Not everything needs to be rendered, needs to exist simultaneously for every user in

the simulation.

Maybe the reason the universe is expanding and growing, is that it hasn't finished

loading yet.

Think of VR.

If you are looking in front of you, what is behind you isn't necessarily rendered, it

hasn't become real.

It isn't until you turn your head that it comes into existence and what was just in

front of you, is now gone.

So the question becomes, how do you know anything exists when you're not looking at it?

It's the technological version of Solipsism.

The idea that only your own mind is certain to exist.

Everything outside of this frame, the person animating it, the office they are in, the

entire world around them, including you, might not exist outside of my own mind.

So, let's say we are in a simulation...why would someone or something do it to this scale

in the first place?

One of the reasons to run a massive simulation like this is proposed by philosophy professor

Nick Bostrom in his paper "Are You Living in a Computer Simulation?"

He states that it could be an ancestor simulation.

A civilization wanting to see what those before them had done.

Like a history book but one that is being acted out instead of being read.

Or we could just be characters in an incredibly advanced video game.

In our Simuverse we would be The Sims, and in this universe we even get to play our own

very rudimentary version of simulation games on computers and consoles, thinking we are

in control.

And in video games, graphics improve, they get better with our technology.

But they don't need to be perfect.

With Virtual Reality, we know what we are looking at isn't real but to our senses

to our mind it is and we react accordingly.

So in this version we live in, it seems real to us because this is all we have known, but

to those that programmed this simuverse, reality could be much different.

It is Plato's Allegory of the Cave.

Plato suggests that you have prisoners chained in a cave from birth, not able to look at

each other or anywhere besides directly in front them at a wall.

All they see are shadows projected onto the wall by a fire they've never seen behind

them.

This is all they have known so to them, the shadows are reality and the voices they hear

are from the shadows, as well.

Since they have never experienced anything else, never seen a real person, had a human

interaction, they have no understanding of the outside world, or the world at all.

And if a prisoner were to escape and leave the cave, they would be so frightened and

confused by what they saw that they would choose to come back to the comfort of their

cave, of their reality.

And just like the prisoners in the cave, what we see in front of us we believe to be true,

believe to be real.

The difficulty in deciding if what we are in right now is real life or simulated life

is what NYU professor David Chalmers said that, "any evidence that we get could be

simulated."

And there is one important distinction to make.

We are not in a virtual world, a world that exists independent of us actually being it.

In that scenario we are players in a game and there is a flesh and blood version of

us somewhere controlling this.

That is not the case with this idea.

We are in a simulated world which means we are not users, we are not players, we are

simulated as well.

As Phlip K. Dick said: Fake realities will create fake humans.

So why would anybody think that the universe is simulated?

Actually, we have four assumptions for you, if they are correct, then you, dear viewer,

are simulated.

Hello and welcome to a new technical episode of ReptilTV

Although toady's episode is not so very technical.

What is the best way to defrost, in this case, frozen mice? That is really not so very technical.

Today we want to find out the best way to defrost frozen food. This is often discussed on the Net.

What is the best way to defrost, in this case, frozen mice?

I have just taken 6 mice from the freezer.

It is now 1500 hours; the mice are rock-hard, straight from the freezer.

We now want to thaw them using 6 different methods.

Of course I have forgotten my pen.

I number them 1-6.

Alex, can you find me a Marker pen, please?

I hope the marker pen arrives, and then I'll number them 1-6.

I place Number 1 on heating

Quite normally, on a heater or heating mat.

We want to thaw Number 2 in a pouch in hot water.

the third simply in cold water, without a pouch, to see what happens.

We put Number 4 in our terrarium room, at about 30 degrees.

We'll just put it here and see how it defrosts there.

Number 5 we place outside in the sun, it is more or less high summer at the moment.

The sun is blazing down, we'll simply put it there and see what happens.

We also put Number 6 in the sun, but wrapped in newspaper,

so that it receives no direct light.

We want to try this out with all 6 mice, wait a few hours and then see how they have thawed.

It is now 2.5 hours later.

Here are my mice; I have numbered them with an Marker pen, so that we know which was which.

To repeat, 1 was heating.

2 was hot water in a pouch.

3 was cold water, simply dropped into cold water.

4 was placed in the terrarium room at 30 degrees.

We laid 5 outside in the sun.

And we placed Number 6 in the sun, but covered.

It has to be said that you notice the flies already.

Placing it in the sun without wrapping is of course a way to attract flies.

Number 1 on the heating mat, was also an attraction for the flies.

We could not have continued, if Numbers 1 and 6

had been subject to heat any longer, then they would not look as good as they do now.

The first summary and you can see that in front of the camera,

they all look fine; I almost have the impression,

no I can't say that, so I'll say it does not matter

how you thaw them.

If they are good mice the result is fine. Number 3 is simply still somewhat wet

from lying in the water, so the pouch method is better.

Now I'll measure the temperature of the animals.

The first one - 28 degrees;

it was on the heating mat.

Number 2 - 26 degrees;

it was in boiling water.

Number 3 - 22 degrees;

it is the coldest, but it is wet and is losing heat through evaporation.

Number 4 - 23 degrees: it lay in the warm room at 30 degrees.

I think that 2.5 hours is too short a time, although, when I touch them they feel OK.

Number 5, placed outside in the sun, 27.5 degrees now.

Number 6, outside but wrapped up, is 23.6 degrees.

We can see that they all are at slightly different temperatures.

I think the ideal for feeding is a warm animal at 30 degrees.

A 22 degree animal is too cold for the reptile, even if a good eater would eat it anyway.

So, in your place, I would bring the animal up to 30 degrees.

That means leaving it correspondingly longer in water or warm water.

They have all thawed in the 2.5 hours.

When I touch it I notice that the wet one is cold.

What I also find interesting after 2.5 hours is a smelling test: I would like

to smell each one. This one smells rather strong.

this one also smells a little, this one hardly has any smell.

The wet one smells only of damp.

2 also does not have any smell.

Also 1 and interestingly 5 and 6, which were placed outside

seem to me to smell the strongest.

Perhaps I got used to the smell with each mouse.

So: none of them smelled rotten.

They all smelled more of mouse.

So, no serious difference, even for those, which lay in the sun.

They have not spoiled in 2.5 hours, so that is OK

for drawing a final conclusion:

Once more: All the methods we have used are fine for thawing.

the water methods seem relatively fast.

Placing them in the sun, we can do that now; it is 30 degrees outside,

but for 11 out of 12 months the weather is not like that in Germany.

Therefore the "place in the sun" method is mostly excluded.

Placing on the heating mat is definitely a good method.

this one is at 30 degrees and

I can feed it straight away; I don't need to do anything ore.

The ones from the water, I would have to use hot water.

I would use hot water at 40 degrees from the tap.

I would place it in a pouch; this one lay loose in the water.

Next time I would put them in a pouch and place them in 40 degree hot water

to heat them up a bit so that they reach more than 30 degrees.

But that would then definitely be a good method.

We simply let Number 4 lie in the terrarium room.

That is possibly the most long-winded method,

possibly not the best, I have to leave them there for 7-8 hours.

Then it would thaw too slowly and at some stage start to rot.

Personally I would choose Number 1,

1, 2 and 3 or 1 and 3 as favourites.

The boiling water method is also tedious and

it has not thawed any better.

The fact that this one is colder is only because

it is now wet, because the water was at the same temperature at the end for both of them.

They would certainly be the same temperature if this one were not wet.

My final summary: Method 1, the heating mat

or "place in water" until they thaw method

But in conclusion, I would not use boiling water, but simply put them in water until they thaw.

It takes about 2 hours for them to thaw.

When they have thawed use hot water, about 40-50 degrees

to raise their temperature; that is a good method.

From the climate viewpoint Numbers 4, 5 and 6 won't work

and Number 4 takes too long.

From that I conclude:

The most important point is the feed animals must be of good quality.

If they had started to rot when frozen,

then they will be just as rotten or even more rotten when thawed.

so it is important that feed animals are naturally good and fresh

and if they thaw to an equally good quality, you have good food for your terrarium animals.

We do not want to waste the mice, so we'll let an expert give an opinion.

I shall put the tray of 6 in with a rhinoceros iguana.

Let's see, whether he goes for these thawed mice

and which type of thawing he favours or eats first.

You see, he liked them all; he simply started with 1 and went on to 2.

If we were to wait, he would progress from 3 to 4 to 5 to 6.

so they were all good, they tasted good.

up to his fourth and final day in New York and although he's had a busy couple of days,

the highlight of his visit comes today - his speech at the United Nations General Assembly

in a few hours time."

President Moon Jae-in will take the podium at the 72nd UN General Assembly Thursday morning,

local time, to deliver a speech before around 127 world leaders gathered for the annual

meeting at the UN headquarters in New York.

The new South Korean leader is scheduled to speak after the leaders of Serbia and Haiti

and will become the first South Korean president to address UNGA in his first year in office

since South and North Korea together joined the United Nations in 1991.

The former human right lawyer-turned-liberal leader elected on a policy of engagment vis-a-vis

North Korea is widely expected to use the UN stage to seek global support for his drive

to put maximum pressure on North Korea to leave the rogue state no other option but

to give up its nuclear weapons.

Following his speech at the UN, South Korean President Moon Jae-in will meet with his U.S.

counterpart to discuss North Korea's nuclear crisis amid escalating tensions over whether

President Donald Trump's harsh rhetoric against North Korean leader Kim Jong-un could lead

to a miscalculation.
