Waching daily Dec 21 2017

Hey guys, genki?

This is Vivian from vivian uru channel! Welcome! =]

Today we are going to talk about HOLIDAYS! *YAY*

Which country do you think that has more holidays? Brazil or Japan?

You can start to guess and I will give you the answer and some interesting facts after the intro, okay?

And please, give this video a thumbs up and make sure to subscribe and activate the notification bell

because you are going to love this video and you will want to see more videos of mine, I just know it lol!

Here comes the intro!

Do you have your answer?

If you answered Japan, your answer is.......

Correct! o/

Brazil has 9 national holidays and Japan has 16!

Here's the list of the national holidays of each country.

However! There's a difference that here in Brazil,

besides the national holidays, we have also the state and municipal holidays.

Here in São Paulo, there's extra 6 holidays for example.

And we have the habit of amend the holidays, turning it into an extended holiday.

In Japan, tthere's also a memorial day for each province

but not all provinces actually celebrate it.

But Japan has in their holiday laws, 3 interesting systems that reminds the extended holidays in Brazil.

The 1st one is Happy Monday.

They moved some holidays to Monday so the population can rest for 3 consecutive days.

The 2nd one is the Make-up Holiday.

It reminds Happy Monday a little bit because when a national holiday falls on a Sunday,

the next working day shall become a public holiday.

It's so wonderful, right?

Unfortunately, we don't have it here in Brazil.

At last, there's the Population's Holiday.

Any normal day that falls between two other national holidays shall also become a holiday!

Of course the chance of it to happen is quite low,

and the only possibility would be on September,

when the autumnal equinox day and the respect for the aged day need to fall with 2 days of difference.

When it happens, this extended holiday is called Silver Week.

It can be called that way only if the holiday is actually of 5 consecutive days.

Like I said, it's something really rare to happen

and the next Silver Week is going to happen only in the year of 2026.

Besides Silver Week, Japan has also 3 other extended holidays.

Starting with the End/Beginning of the Year holiday.

The period of the holiday, tends to differ depending on each profession and company.

But on average, it's around from 29/12 to 03/01.

Then it comes the Golden Week.

There's all the holidays gathered from the end of April to the beginning of May.

The period of this holiday is usually from 29/04 to 05/05.

At last, there's All Soul's day.

Which are the dates that surround 15th of August.

Note that these days aren't national holidays

but everyone gets to rest to spend time with the family

and to honor the relatives that have passed away.

The priod of this holiday is usually from 11/08 to 16/08.

One of the reasons that Japan has many extended and national holidays

is because of the people who work, not taking their paid vacations properly.

It seems that people in Japan tend to use only 50% of their paid vacations,

which is 10 days out of 20 that they have the right.

While in Brazil, we have the right to take 30 days of paid vacations.

And it end up afecting them,,

causing physical and mental health problems.

Not to mention the deaths and suicides caused by overwork.

That's so tense,, right? x3

But how about you? How do you like to spend your holidays?

Let me know on the comment section! ^^

I hope you enjoyed this video and I'm counting on your presence on the next one, okay?

That's all for today's video.

Thank you so much for watching!

Hope to see you on the next video, okay?

Big kisses and mata ne~! <3

Primavera (Spring) Danny Tattoo - Brasilia - Timelapse - Duration: 4:13.

This was one of those jobs that I waited a lifetime ... :))

Well, the concept and references that my client brought allowed us to develop a project ...

... using realistic images, but completely modified in photoshop.

My right arm, assistant and tattoo artist Choco Tattoo (Rafael) Master in photoshop ...

...he managed to get this result. Interesting that the customer did not have to think twice ...

... when he hit the eye passed. (He was not crazy not to approve ... )

This is a colorful realism. Fully pigmented.

It took three long sessions to complete. This customer does not live in Brasilia. But this is a next video subject.

Basically I used MG15, MG09, RS11 and RL07 needles.

Here is the end of the first session.

Second session. I put the stencil again the parts around the face.

As the video title already tells, this tattoo has the idea to spring ...

Rather it has to do with 4 Vivaldi stations.

Third and final session.

Yellow.

For technical reasons allied to own skin physiology, light colors only and heal the skin appear clear ...

If you have darker skin, or often sunbathe forget this color tone

Unknown Metal Alloys From UFOs Were Recovered By The Pentagon - Duration: 4:19.

Unknown Metal Alloys From UFOs Were Recovered By The Pentagon

The Pentagon has revealed that they recovered metal alloys from a UFO that they do not recognize.

The materials are said to have properties that are amazing and are currently said to

be in storage in buildings in Las Vegas that have been modified.

DOD Admitted To $22 Million Secret UFO Investigation Programme

The Department of Defence admitted that there was a programme that had been kept secret

which cost $22 million and this programme was running between 2007 and 2012, and its

sole purpose was to look into UFO reports and investigate.

An author of the New York Times who revealed that the materials have amazing properties

said that scientists were trying to find out what lies behind their properties.

Ralf Blumenthal went on to say that the Department of Defence did not have any idea as to what

the materials are as it was a compound that is unknown to them.

1945 UFO crash in San Antonio, New Mexico including microscopic analysis of actual materials

taken from the UFO.

The Pentagon was asked to comment but they have refused to comment.

The New York Times also said that researchers had been studying people who made claims they

had physical effects after having close encounters with the UFO phenomena.

A video that had previously been classified was revealed by the Department of Defence,

and it showed the reactions of pilots from the Navy who were sent to look into a UFO

as it was hovering just off the San Diego coast.

Video Footage Reveals Navy Encounter with UFOs

The footage, which has only just recently been released, showed an encounter during

2014 between what was said to be an object that was around the size of a typical airplane

and Navy F/A-18 Super Hornets, which flew from the Nimitz aircraft carrier.

Lieutenant Commander Jim Slaight and Commander David Fraver had been on a training mission

that was routine around 100 miles out over the Pacific Ocean, and they were asked to

go and take a look at the object.

Fraver said that the object seemed to be around 40 feet long and they could not see any rotors,

plumes or wings on it.

He also pointed out that the object was able to outrun the F-18s they were in and also

large enough to make the ocean churn, which was around 50 feet underneath it.

Blumenthal said that even today no one has any idea as to what the object was seen on

that night.

A lot of research was made into trying to identify the means of propulsion of the objects

along with their phenomenal aerodynamics, which were said to represent nothing that

has been seen on Earth in any country.

The experts said that generally there is a good explanation for sightings of UFOs and

they can be explained, and caution should be taken not to jump to the conclusion that

they are extra-terrestrial just because there has not been a worldly explanation.

AATIP May Not Be Totally Closed Down While the Pentagon has said that the Advanced

Aviation Threat Identification Programme had been closed down five years ago due to officials

at the Department of Defense moving funds to other priorities, its backers say that

it has remained in alive in some shape and form.

Laura Ochoa, spokesperson for the Pentagon, revealed that the AATIP came to an end in

2012 after it was said that there were other priorities that needed funding.

Ochoa was asked if the Department of Defense had continued to look into UFO sightings following

the disbanding she said that the DOD did take potential threats very seriously and they

did take action if any information that was credible came

to light.

Happy Holidays, Merry Christmas, or Merry Xmas? What to say to Americans? - Duration: 10:01.

Do you have a favorite holiday? Mine is Christmas.

I love the festive atmosphere in December.

Houses have outdoor lights, and you can often see pretty Christmas trees through windows.

Holiday music is easy to find on the radio, and you hear it in stores too.

There are a lot of social events around this time of the year, at schools and around town.

There may be winter concerts and cookie exchanges.

Some offices have gift exchanges among workers.

Parents take small children to visit Santa Claus in shopping centers so that they can tell him what's on their Christmas list.

So although Christmas is one day out of the year, it's really a whole season. Christmastime refers the period around Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

Christmas today here in the U.S. has both secular and religious celebrations.

"Secular" refers to things that aren't religious.

So, for example, we have Christmas songs that are religious and are often sung in church,

and we have secular Christmas songs that are just about holiday fun.

When I was growing up in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, all I heard was "Merry Christmas!"

It was a friendly holiday wish that we said to everyone.

Over the years, we as a society have become more sensitive to cultural differences

and we try to be more inclusive now, meaning we don't wish to exclude people from events and experiences.

My children have learned in school that there are other celebrations at the end of the year...

-- other holidays bsides Christmas. Like Hanukkah and Kwanzaa.

This is one reason why the greeting "Happy Holidays!" has become so widespread in the U.S.

Some people can be sensitive to receiving one greeting rather than the other.

Is "Merry Christmas" only for people who go to church? Is "Happy Holidays" not specific enough?

I think what's important in communication is the meaning of our words, our intention.

So should you say "Merry Christmas" or "Happy Holidays"?

I like to see the goodness in people. My personal feeling is that if someone is wishing you goodwill, meaning kindness and friendship,

and if it's coming from the heart, then it shouldn't matter which greeting they're using.

I think we should just accept either greeting as someone's intention to share their holiday happiness with us.

I think you should be aware that some people prefer one greeting over the other,

but if you speak with kindness, the I think your intention and your meaning will be understood regardless.

And, by the way, don't be surprised to see the abbreviation "Xmas" on a store sign or in an informal online text.

The abbreviation is readily understood - "Merry Xmas!" for example, in a text between friends. But it's not what I'd write on a holiday card to my neighbors.

I would choose the full form. "Merry Christmas!"

Do you remember all the words I highlighted?

Let's review them. I'll show you a definition. You recall the word.

Here are a few tips for using holiday greetings among American English speakers.

So in our small New England town here in the U.S.A., which greeting do you think we hear more at this time of the year?

But what do I hear a the stores, at the post office, and from m neighbors?

More often, it's "Merry Christmas!"

Either greeting is said with a warm, friendly smile.

And we respond:

You can also return the greeting:

So now I'll end with my holidays wishes:

Because I feel this is the season to feel merry and to hope for peace among all people,

I wish you a Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, Happy Kwanzaa, Happy Holidays, and a very Happy New Year!

I wish you the best today and every day of the year! Thanks for watching and happy studies!

Developing: Trump Personally Declares War on UN, Doubles Down on Haley Statement. - Duration: 2:48.

Developing: Trump Personally Declares War on UN, Doubles Down on Haley Statement.

The Arab nations of the world are not happy with America's decision to recognize Jerusalem

as the capital of Israel… but President Donald Trump and U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley

just sent an epic message that was heard loud and clear at the United Nations.

Earlier this month, Trump stunned the world by announcing that the U.S. was recognizing

Jerusalem as Israel's capital and would be moving its embassy in Israel to Jerusalem.

In response, the United Nations tried to undermine that decision with a resolution scolding America.

Instead of caving in, Haley and Trump doubled down, and drew a clear line in the sand.

Haley firmly pointed out that the United States gives huge sums of money to nations around

the world — and if the U.N. really wanted to tell America where to put its own embassy,

the stream of cash would probably stop.

"The United States will not be told by any country where we can put our embassy," she

declared on Twitter.

"At the UN we're always asked to do more & give more," the tough former governor

continued in a public post.

"So, when we make a decision, at the will of the American people, about where to locate

OUR embassy, we don't expect those we've helped to target us."

Then she issued a warning to anti-Israel nations: The free money train doesn't go on forever.

"On Thursday there'll be a vote criticizing our choice," she stated.

"The US will be taking names."

Haley can easily hold her own, but Trump decided to make sure her message resonated strongly.

At a cabinet meeting on Wednesday, Trump backed his ambassador, and reiterated the stern warning.

"I like the message that Nikki sent yesterday at the United Nations for all of these nations

that take our money and then they vote against us at the Security Council, or they vote against

us potentially at the (general) assembly," he said.

"They take hundreds of millions of dollars and even billions of dollars, and then they

vote against us.

Well, we're watching those votes," he declared, according to The Hill.

"Let them vote against us, we'll save a lot.

We don't care."

Haley and Trump's message was obvious: The weak Obama era is over, and there's a new

sheriff in town.

Two of them, actually.

"Our great citizens who love this country are tired of this country being taken advantage

of – we're not going to be taken advantage of any longer," Trump declared.

"This isn't like it used to be where they could vote against you, and then you pay them

hundreds of millions of dollars and nobody knows what they're doing," the president

continued.

What do you think of Trump's position here?

Reasons Why The Voice Is Totally Fake - Duration: 4:17.

Have you watched season after season of The Voice, but felt there was something off about

the entire show?

Don't worry, plenty of people feel the same way, and with good reason.

The Voice might be a hit series for NBC, but it's bad news for anyone wanting an authentic

singing competition.

From the way the show treats its contestants, to the format itself, here are some reasons

why The Voice is totally fake.

Coaching for the cameras

Isn't it amazing that these megastars with established music careers, upcoming albums,

and arenas to fill can take time from their busy schedules to work with dozens of Voice

contestants?

Well, if it seems unbelievable, that's probably because it doesn't actually happen.

Just ask Season 6 contestant Ddendyl Hoyt, who told The Washington Post that much of

the "coaching" comes from a team of staff members — not the celebrity judges.

"What [Voice producers] don't show is all the coaching that comes from the staff.

The vocal coaches, the band director, the producers — everyone has notes for you."

Though Hoyt was on "Team Shakira," she revealed she only met with the Latin pop princess for

taped portions of the show.

Otherwise, she and the other contestants were left to figure it out for themselves.

Judgy judges

If the rumors are to be believed, the friendly banter we see in each episode may be an outright

lie.

The Voice judge Adam Levine reportedly had a long-running feud with former judge Christina

Aguilera, and rumor has it Aguilera quit the show over an alleged beef with Gwen Stefani.

That sounds like a lotta drama.

There are multiple reports that Levine is also feuding with judge Miley Cyrus.

You wouldn't know it on TV, but a source told Us Weekly the two "totally butted heads" when

she was a guest mentor, so her promotion to the role of a season-long coach was probably

not something Levine supported.

Supposedly, Cyrus and Levine are too similar.

"They both have short attention spans.

They find each other annoying.

Adam would get agitated when Miley would interrupt him, and she enjoyed getting under his skin."

Television roots

On its surface, The Voice seems very similar to other singing competition shows such as

American Idol or X-Factor, yet there's one very big difference: the main forces behind

those other shows have ties to the music industry.

X-Factor creator Simon Cowell and American Idol creator Simon Fuller are men with decades

of music industry experience and relevant connections.

The show runners behind The Voice are centered on television and have almost nothing to do

with the music business — which helps explain why even the winning contestants have had

trouble forging successful mainstream music careers.

And while we're on that subject…

Winning means little

Quick, how many superstars has The Voice produced?

That's right: Zero.

The series hasn't even produced a flash-in-the-pan or a one-hit wonder.

For all The Voice's early boasts about what separated it from similar talent shows, the

one defining factor to date is its lack of lasting musical careers.

While there are still starry-eyed hopefuls competing on The Voice, desperate to make

something happen, the trend thus far has been a short stint in the spotlight, followed by

an unceremonious fade into obscurity.

Heck, a person has a better chance of blowing up via YouTube than The Voice.

Just ask Justin Bieber.

Votes?

What votes?

If you really believe you have the final say in who actually progresses or wins on The

Voice, you've been duped.

According to the New York Daily News, contestants and audience members actually have very little

power.

The iron-clad contracts that Voice contestants eagerly sign in pursuit of stardom put the

power entirely in the hands of Voice producers.

They can decide to eliminate a contestant whenever it pleases them, even if they're

"winning with the public."

That revelation makes the need to phone in to save so-and-so rather pointless, doesn't

it?

How do you know if a contestant survived due to the will of faithful viewers or the whim

of Voice producers?

It takes the real out of "reality."

Contestants are an afterthought

The Voice claims to be about the contestants, but the show actually devotes most of its

time to showcasing its lineup of superstar judges.

According to Billboard, "the show's greatest use" has been "taking established artists

and making them bigger — much bigger — while showcasing a celebrity chemistry using high-caliber

names that usually don't tread in prime-time reality."

That might explain why no new hit performers have emerged from the show — because the

network is more concerned with promoting their big name mentors rather than their no-name

pupils.

National Forecast for the Weekend - Duration: 3:14.

Kia Ora it's Friday and for many of us it's the final day before that long at

Christmas break and we are going to find the return of high pressure across that

those southern parts of the country up north we've still got a few features

just to get rid of as we head through Friday afternoon and those early parts

of Saturday morning still bring in a few showers up towards Northland and more

cloud around that far western side of the North Island down south the high

pressure remains that firmly in control and for many of us it should be a dry

looking Saturday so let's start things off up in the far north we have

got those showers across north and perhaps one or two in the Auckland region

just to start the day more cloud I think on that western side of the North Island

then we'll see in the east and just a chance of an isolated shower as we head

through the afternoon down that eastern side things are looking drier we

are going to find perhaps a chance of a shower in the Gisborne region just as we

head in towards the afternoon so about many places it will stay dry highs

around about 21 degrees Celsius on the eastern coast warmer as we head up to a

say Auckland back up to about 25 degrees Celsius as we head southwards

that down towards those lower parts for the North Island again we're going to watch

out some showers forming in those higher parts of Taranaki and across in

towards the Whanganui Hill country might find a few sliding back down

towards the coast but generally it's a cloudier story on that western side

nice spells of sunshine it's through the Wairarapa and some decent spells of

afternoon sunshine out towards say Palmerston North and down in towards the

Kapiti coast temperatures here it could be pretty impressive as well 25 26

degrees Celsius as we head through the afternoon not a bad story here

in Wellington as well generally staying dry temperatures around about 25 degrees

Celsius as we head on towards the south Island we are going to find much the

weather is dominated by that high pressure there will be some showers that

form across those ranges of say the Nelson region and down in towards the

ranges of Marlborough and Canterbury as well but down towards the coast many

places that will stay fine and dry temperatures are into the 20s 25 again

in for the likes of say Blenheim as we head southwards in towards Canterbury

again many spaces that will stay dry a bit of cloud around first thing those

southern parts and perhaps a few spots of early drizzle that will clear off quite nicely

looks like a great day for the Cricket as well in Christchurch just

watch out for a few showers though as we head through in towards the afternoon

again springing up with a bit of convergence where the Seabreeze just

kicks through but for many of us it should be a dry day in our temperatures

once again back up to round about 25 degrees Celsius in Queenstown now Sunday

Christmas Eve we start to see that next feature moving back in from the south

so a bit of cloud starting to feed back in toward Milford Sound but a fine

looking day in Invercargill and still pretty warm as well and we're going to

find those temperatures on the eastern side starting to pick up as we head

through towards Christmas Day but we are going to keep a close eye on this wetter

weather as we head through Christmas Eve and more especially in towards

Christmas a day as well now a bit of time to go to get those finer details

worked out but the moment it looks like a wetter day on the western coast that

rain creeping up through Southland and Otago through the daytime a fine

hot looking day in Christchurch but with those northwesterly winds for Wellington

most of time its staying dry just that chance for an isolated shower and

generally a cloudier story on the western side of the North Island perhaps an

isolated shower here and there drier and a little bit brighter and down the east

that's it from me but there is more at MetService.com

somewhere along the line you changed you stopped being you you let people stick a

finger in your face and tell you you're no good and when things got hard you

started looking for something to blame like a big shadow let me tell you

something you already know the world ain't all sunshine and rainbows it's a

very mean and nasty place and I don't care how tough you are it will beat you

to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it you me or

nobody is gonna hit as hard as life but it ain't about how hard you hit it's

about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward how much you can take and

keep moving forward that's how winning is done now if you

know what you're worth that go out and get what you're worth but you gotta be

willing to take the hits and not pointing fingers saying you ain't where

you wanna be because of him or her or anybody cowards do that and that ain't

you you're better than that I was sitting in

my mother's beauty parlor and I'm looking in the mirror and I see behind

me and every time she looked up she every

time I looked up she was looking at me look at me in the eye I don't know who

me I'm gonna travel it's between two people while I had

travel the world and I have spoke to millions of me

but that's not the most important thing and success that I had the most

important thing is that what she taught me what she told me that day has Dave

I've done fail big fail big you only live once

take chances don't be afraid to fail there's a no

pencil within these nine dots without lifting the pencil the only way to do it

was to go outside come on so don't be afraid to go outside the box

don't be afraid to think outside the box don't be afraid to fail big to dream big

dreams without goals such as dreams and they ultimately fuel disappointment so

have dreams but happiness life goals yearly goals monthly goals daily go

and understand that to achieve these goals you must apply discipline

and consistency

you have to work at everyday you have to play every day or the same we don't plan

to fail we fail to plan

pod work works working really hard is what successful people do remember just

because you're doing a lot more doesn't mean you're getting a lot more done

remember it yes because you're doing a lot more

doesn't mean you're getting a lot

and confuse movement with progress

you'll never see a u-haul behind a hearse I don't care how much money you

make you can't take it with you

and is that how much you have is what you do with what you have

the most selfish thing you can do in this world is help someone else why is

it selfish because gratification the goodness that comes to you good feeling

the good feeling that I get from helping others

don't just aspire to make a living

aspire to make a difference
