Good evening, everyone.

We would like to welcome you on our Christmas performance.

And we're not starting this performance in a Christmas way.

Who knows this song, that we just played?

This is the song that you can very often hear on the radio,

And such songs are the songs that we usually sing.

as Fusion Katowice

For those who don't know us yet, we are an amatour teenage choir.

And for the beginning, we would like to show you the things we usually do on rehearsals.

The songs that we practice.

So the first part is going to be more like a concert,

And then the second part will be something that we usually would call "Nativity play" (jasełka).

But this is going to be a very unusual Nativity play.

Because we used the texts from the songs that we usually sing

to ilustrate something using these texts.

I'm going to talk more about this later

We've got songs that we treat more "seriously"

Like the one we've just played

But we also have some funny songs that we take with a pinch of salt

Because we can't be serious all the time

Maybe some of you will recognise this song

This is the kind of a song that once you hear it, you can't get it out of your head.

This song is more like a joke.

Thank you very much, these are the songs we work on on our daily basis

We have rehearsals once a week, and we have so much fun.

We learn singing, and playing all these instruments that you can see here.

But this year we thought that the songs that we sing usually have a very nice lyrics.

The lyrics are interesting in various ways

I know that here in Poland it really depends,

Some of us do understand the lyrics right away, some others understand it only when they read it

And others find it difficult because of the language barrier.

But we thought that we want to combine all of this

And in this year's Christmas performance we would like you to be involved in this world of lyrics

The lyrics that we hear every day

And use the lyrics to illustrate not only the story of the birth of Christ

Because when we talked to one another we realised that sometimes we don't really know how and why it all happened.

So that's why this performance's title is "What's this fuss about?" (Skąd to zamieszanie?)

And we hope that by using our songs we will be able to show you what's this all about

And during the performance, please pay attention to the screen

There will be the lyrics that we're gonna sing in English

And on the right there will be Polish translation

This will be a free translation, it's not supposed to be the same number of syllables and stuff

It's supposed to be understandable

And the lyrics really match our story

The part of this story we are witnessing now, during Christmas

So I encourage you to enter the lyrical level

Here on the stage some things will be happening, but not much

So please focus on the text and the message, and think what it is all about.

In the beginning, God created the world

God created planets.

God created plants

God created animals

Finally, God created the human.

He created human as a man and a woman.

The best of His creations

In His image and likeness.

People had everything they needed to live happily.

God has been visiting them personally in the Eden Garden.

They did not know sadness, hunger, cold and death.

They only had one order.

Not to eat the fruit from the tree in the middle of the garden.

The tree of knowledge of good and evil.

It was all beautiful, until Satan appeared.

The fallen angel who rebelled against God.

Before the creation of the world, he stated that he would put his throne higher than God's throne.

He lied to people, telling them that God wasn't telling them all the truth.

And that they can be just like Him.

He misrepresented God's words and they listened to them.

The first sin: disobedience.

Along with the Sin, the Death appears on stage.

Since then, the people's life has not been the same anymore.

They have been banished from the Garden.

Hard work, pain, and death.

God, because he is just, had to react on this disobedience.

He said to the man:

"You will be working hard, and it will never be enough!"

He said to the woman:

"You will be giving birth in pain!"

To the Snake he said:

"In a time, the One will come and crush your head"

"He will defeat you once and for all."

Hard work, pain, and death.

And also: pride, lie, jealousy, selfishness.

People drifted away from God.

and from the life that He had had for them.

We try to fight alone, in many ways.

We try to be strong.

And fulfill expactations, and be successful.

To prove that we can.

But there's a fire inside of us that burns our bones and our hearts.

Because we are never good enough.

There must be a solution.

Because life is in blood

God gave people a temporary solution.

Because of their disobediance, people deserve to die. To shed their blood.

God let them to make sacrifices of animals instead, but He treated it as a temporary remedy.

But Sin is so real, that someone has to die for it.

This system worked, but not really.

Still, once people were close, and once far from God.

God was talking to them through prophets, he was warning them, calling them back to the life he had for them,

But often people didn't listen to Him at all.

Something more was needed.

God never gave up in his efforts to call the people he loved so much back to Him.

God has spoken through the prophets: "I will send you a Saviour"

A summary of my 1st YEAR on YouTube - Duration: 5:53.

My youtube channel is one year old and to celebrate I'm going to do a quick

little overview of the year starting with a comic strip that I drew just a

few days after I launched my channel.

A few years ago I discovered one of my passions, science education.

"And remember, math is the key to science."

"Teacher, can I have my more math to practice please?"

"She's amazing! How much does it cost to bring her in each week?"

"Nothing. she's a volunteer."

it was the perfect job except it didn't have a paycheck.

"That's okay, I'm a writer I'm used to not getting paid."

And although visiting three schools a week was good I had a big dream.

I want to give science to the whole world!

So I made a website and posted some of my science activities and then I had a beautiful idea.

If I find science buddies who will pay me something, then I can do more science!

"Hi Science Buddies, here's some science!"

"Thanks! here's some monetary support."

I filmed one of my science demonstrations and launched a patreon campaign with an awesome giveaway.

This is going to be so fun!

So how many of those are you gonna make?

I figure about 15 people will sign up on day one,

so if I have 25 kits ready, then everybody's guaranteed to get one!

You do realize most people do patreon to earn money, not give it away right?

In the fantasy version of my launch, I sent a few tweets. My favorite author sent me an

advanced copy of one of his next books, and thousands of people entered the giveaway.

And this instant support would allow me to pursue a career as a creator

studying science and translating my videos in to multiple languages.

"science mom, in just a few years you completely reformed math and science education in

the United States. How did you do it it?"

"It all started with PVC pipe and some tinsel."

That was the fantasy, and the reality was that I spent hours sending

emails and posting to social media and ZERO people entered the giveaway.

"No one wants to pay me $1 so I can spend $12 on postage to mail them an awesome science gift?"

"Nobody?"

Maybe, I didn't know how to use social media.

Science Mom. Master's in molecular biology, can't figure out Twitter.

Maybe people didn't have time to notice awesome giveaways in December.

Maybe people were like penguins on an iceberg,

unwilling to jump in the water until someone else jumped first.

I was a little discouraged, but my own family really

enjoyed the first video I did and I realized, I already had some pretty good science buddies.

But when I thanked my husband for being such a good support, he literally said,

you can call us the science buddies but we're not going to pay you to make science mom videos in Klingon.

So you see that launch didn't go quite how I thought it would

and yes, my initial plan, and I was serious about this,

I really thought that if I had enough financial backing and could

do it full-time that I would be able to gain passable fluency in a new foreign

language every month plus release videos translated videos and you know science

mom would be multilingual and go to the entire world. That was that was kind of

my intellectual fantasy that I would have that much time to study languages

and to do science. It didn't take me long to realize that that was incredibly overly

optimistic and not at all realistic considering there are only 24 hours in a day.

So let's do a quick look at the year by numbers. I started out with one video

and one subscriber and we ended the year with 31 videos and 622 subscribers.

Over the year, the science mom channel had more than 20,000 views that equated to

more than 88,000 minutes of watch time and more importantly to me I had the

support of 22 wonderful patrons on patreon throughout the year. Thank you

very much to you guys for your support of the channel.

I earned $1,733 dollars from the support of my patrons and from book sales,

and I earned $16.77 from ad revenue on YouTube

I taught 334 science lessons and those lessons were split across 21 different

schools in the Las Vegas area and it equated to more than 167 hours of actual

in the classroom teaching time. I feel like this is this is the heart of what I do

I feel like it's very impactful. Some of my favorite moments of

the year came from this outreach time when I was teaching in the classroom

yeah it was it was wonderful! on the creative side, my favorite thing of the

year was seeing these these science guides develop and grow. So they started

out as a free print printable that you could download from my webpage,

and then I redid them and published them with a local printer so they had comics

and worksheets and were more like a little workbook and then after getting

feedback from kids when I felt like I was finally ready I legitimately for-reals

published my book and this is now available on Amazon. I am a published

author, with many more books planned to come and this was so rewarding and

exciting to to publish this book so check it out if you haven't already it's

it's there they'll be a link in the description.

Has it been a successful year?

Well, success is entirely a function of expectations,

so on the one hand I feel like I have made an impactful difference

to multiple people's lives in helping inspire them about science

so yes I'm super thrilled with that and feel like it's been a very successful year.

I reached some big goals getting this book out was one of them so I was

happy about that. I did not finish the water series, um, science mom's guide to

water part seven I decided to push off and do I'll do next year, so I was a

little disappointed about that.

And we did not make it to a thousand subscribers,

at the very beginning of the year I set out this goal to reach a

thousand subscribers and didn't quite do it so in terms of numbers I'm still very

much a tiny tiny little fish in a big pond on YouTube.

What If Mexico Invaded The United States? - Duration: 4:10.

What if Mexico Invaded the United States Hello and welcome back to Lifeís Biggest

Questions, Iím Ron McKenzie-Lefurgey.

Since the election of Donald Trump, US-Mexican relations have been rather tense.

The hitherto impotent rallying cry to BUILD THAT WALL is not exactly the diplomatic decision

of the decade.

But what would happen if Mexico decided theyíd had enough, and mounted an attack on the United

States?

Letís explore.

Now get ready, itís time to ask the question: What if Mexico Invaded the United States?

If you saw our video on ìWhat if Canada Invaded America,î you may have some idea of how this

will go.

That is to say, Mexico would have a bad time.

You can simply look at the military budgets of the two countries to see how easy this

would be for the US.

Mexico has a military budget of roughly 10 billion American dollars, while the US has

68 times that, with a budget of 682 billion dollars.

So really, we could probably stop this video right here, but just for fun letís look at

some of the other factors.

One disadvantage Mexico would have is that their border with the United States is relatively

small, compared to the US/Canada border.

This means that there would be less ground for the Americans to defend, making it even

more difficult to mount an attack on land.

While Canada may have had a small advantage in that they could choose where to attack

from, Mexico would be funneled through a relatively small area, thus likely wouldnít be able

to successfully invade the US by land.

This leaves two options: The air, and the sea.

Unfortunately, they would be massively outmanned in both areas.

In the air, the US has a heavy advantage.

In 2017, the United States had a total aircraft strength of 13,762, compared to Mexicoís

452, roughly 30 times the power in the air.

So it looks like an air attack is out of the question.

But what about the sea?

Surprisingly, this is one of the areas where Mexico is closest to the US in terms of firepower.

In 2017, the US was measured at 415 Naval military Assets, compared to Mexicoís 143.

With less than 3 times the firepower, the US actually isnít as far ahead as they are

in other areas.

But on the other hand, to put it another way, they have almost 3 TIMES the naval assets.

Plus, it should be noted that aircraft can engage in naval warfare as well, which means

the US air superiority would make this an even more one-sided fight.

So, outmanned on land, air, and sea.

What other option is there?

Say it with me: Nuclear weapons.

This is essentially the only way that Mexico could do any real damage to the US.

However, Mexico has historically been in strong opposition of nuclear weapons.

In 1967, Mexico signed the Treaty of Tlatelolco.

My goodness was that difficult for my dumb Canadian tongue to say.

This treaty stated that they would not manufacture nuclear weapons.

More recently, in 2010, the government of Mexico turned over their highly enriched uranium

to the US, in exchange for a less-enriched form that couldnít be used to make weapons.

All this is to say that Mexico would be reluctant to, and likely lacks the resources to, use

nuclear weapons against the United States.

And even if they did, they would be in for a world of hurt.

All this is ignoring one glaring fact that puts this matter completely to bed; if Mexico

attacked the US, they would be breaking so many alliances that the world would come crashing

down on them.

Even if the US didnít deal with them immediately, which they probably could, other allies of

the United States would step in and make sure peace was returned.

An attack on the United States would be suicide, both for the soldiers, and for the country

as a whole.

And now we return to our question: What if Mexico Invaded the United States?

Well, the bottom line is, Mexico would lose.

Badly.

Heavily outmanned in the air, land, and sea, and lacking the nuclear capabilities to be

a threat on that front, Mexico would be throwing rocks at a skyscraper.

And thatís not to mention the fact that NATO would step in and squash any attack pretty

quickly.

On the bright side, an attack from Mexico is roughly as likely as Donald Trump bringing

about world peace; that is to say, it just wonít happen.

Witchhunter Batman Shocking Facts Hey guys!

Welcome back to Top 10 Nerd, Iím Ron McKenzie-Lefurgey.

The Return of Bruce Wayne is an exciting and interesting story, thatís almost Batman meets

Doctor Who, so I love it.

Iíll try to avoid spoilers for later issues if you end up picking up the series.

In issue 2, Bruce finds himself in Colonial times, masquerading as a witch hunter.

And since the storyís so confusing, I thought Iíd give you a little taste so you can hopefully

go read more yourself!

If youíre looking for more Batmen from the Metal series, check out our video about the

Now get ready, itís time for the Top 10 Shocking Facts about Batman the Witchhunter!

Number 10: He isnít actually an alternate version of Batman.

With all our lists about the Metal Batmen, it can be easy to assume that this video is

just another version of Batman.

But this isnít part of the metal series, at least, not exactly.

This is actually just one storyline of our Bruce Wayne, as part of his journey back through

time, after being sent back by Darkseidís Omega Beam.

And believe me, there are some pretty awesome stories.

If you havenít read the series, do it, thereís even a sale on Comixology if youíre interested!

If you want to see Bruce as a Pirate or Cowboy or Noir-style detective, youíll love the

series.

Number 9: Memory problems.

One main obstacle for Bruce in this series is that he frequently experiences amnesia,

forgetting pretty much everything, even who he is.

Heís trying to solve this issue by writing his experiences down in a book.

He even got an artist to sketch him holding the book, so that it could be discovered later

if he lost his memory again.

And spoiler alert, he loses his memory a lot in this series.

Number 8: Heís back to his detective roots.

Even though he canít remember his detective training, it seems that logic is just so ingrained

in him that heís still the worldís greatest detective, even when he has amnesia in colonial

times.

He solves a manís murder, going against the beliefs of the other witch hunters, noticing

clues that others would have missed.

Even though I definitely wasnít a fan of the colonial aesthetic Bruce had in this issue,

it was really pleasant to see him getting back to his roots as a detective.

Number 7: He isnít actually hunting witches.

Yep, this is one of the most ironically-named iterations of Bruce ever.

The woman who found him just gave him the clothes of a witch hunter who had been sent

to Gotham, but was killed on his way.

Bruce is basically there to stop the actual witch hunters from killing innocent people.

Just as weíd expect him to be.

And itís lucky he ISNíT hunting witches, becauseÖ

Number 6: His girlfriendís a witch!

Turns out the witch hunters werenít exactly wrong in thinking Annie was into the supernatural.

Annie, the woman who pulled Bruce from the water and later went on to smooch him, didnít

like what the religious fanatics were doing to the town, so she asked her bright gods

to send an avenging angel.

Now, Iím not certain if she actually did cause him to come or if it was just a coincidence.

That said, it could be that the Bright Gods are actually the New Gods, and since we know

Darkseid sent Bruce, it could be related to him.

But it should also be pointed out that he seems to appear when people are in trouble,

so maybe heís able to control it subconsciously himself.

I dunno, itís never really explained as far as I know, if you know what causes his time

leaps let me know in the comments!

Number 5: Heís in Gotham City.

This issue takes place in Gotham Town in colonial times.

Interestingly, it turns out that this isnít just a town sharing the same name; this is

Gotham City centuries before his time.

There are a few pieces of evidence for this.

First, he discovers a great cave, that he slowly realizes he actually recognizes.

Then later while heís battling the giant creature that the locals call The Dragon (spoilers,

itís the hyper adapter), a swarm of bats flies out.

Itís the frickin Bat Cave.

But thereís one more big piece of evidence that proves this town will later become Gotham

CityÖ Number 4: He went up against his ancestor.

In a surprising twist, it was revealed that Brother Maleus, the antagonist of the issue,

was actually Nathaniel Wayne, the first of the Waynes to settle in the place that would

eventually become the Gotham City we all know.

This was a big surprise, since little was known of Nathaniel except that he was the

first Wayne to live in Gotham.

Plus heís Scottish, which is great because itís super fun to reread the comic making

all his lines all Scottish.

And the worst part is, when Nathaniel burned Annie for being a witch, she cursed Nathaniel

and all his kin.

Which meansÖ Number 3: Bruce is cursed.

As I said earlier, Iím not entirely sure if Annie does have supernatural powers, but

this curse definitely has me thinking she does.

Itís unclear what this curse entails, but based on Bruceís appearance at the end of

time, it seems like it was a pretty big deal.

Since she cursed Nathanielís kin, ìUntil the end of time,î I donít think itís a

coincidence that we see Bruce, AT the end of time.

Number 2: Biblical Symbolism?

Question mark?

When reading the comic, it definitely stuck out to me that he was referred to as brother

Mordecai, so I did a quick search to see if he was based on the biblical character, or

if the name was just chosen randomly.

Turns out the two are pretty similar, to the point where I THINK it was an intentional

reference.

Mordecai adopted his orphaned cousin, similar to how Bruce took the orphaned Dick Grayson

under his wing.

Plus, Mordecai has a strong sense of morals, and refused to set his personal beliefs aside

just to follow a leader, which we see Batman do time and time again, even doing it in this

very comic.

Itís a bit of a stretch, but I think thereís something there.

Number 1: Heís awesome with a sword.

Yep, we get to see Batman fighting a huge creature with a sword.

There isnít really much more to say about this point, but itís frickin awesome.

unfortunately this pizza has not even been in the refrigerator very long but

this is just a good example of what happens when things are poorly covered

that don't have the good vacuum seal so I'm going to put this in there you're

going to open this up and we're going to put this on the brown strip right here

we're gonna push down and I'm gonna push back and see

as you see it is vacuuming up a little bit of the air slowly

all right the red light came on and now everything turned off I'm gonna push the

buttons on the side to release and lift up now there we go now we have a fully

sealed and vacuumed pizza now this can go in the freezer now to be preserved

later if you really want to save it you can also go back right into the

refrigerator if you want to open it back up later and have something at a later

time and you're not pressed to eat it right away
