UN votes to condemn Trump�s Jerusalem decision

The United Nations on Thursday delivered a stinging rebuke of President Trump�s recognition

of Jerusalem as Israel�s capital, casting an overwhelming vote condemning the move and

calling on the U.S. to withdraw the decision.

The final vote count in favor of the resolution was 128.

Nine countries opposed the resolution while 35 abstained.

The resolution � essentially a formal statement of a U.N. opinion � is not legally binding.

But it represents a condemnation of Trump�s decision and exerts political pressure on

him to reverse the move.

Some of the United States� closest allies moved to condemn the decision.

The United Kingdom, France, Germany and Japan, among others, voted in favor of the resolution.

Other allies, like Canada, Mexico and Australia, abstained.

In the run-up to the General Assembly vote, Trump and U.S. Ambassador to the U.N. Nikki

Haley sought to warn countries against opposing the Trump administration�s Jerusalem decision.

WWE News: Shield star Dean Ambrose could miss Wrestlemania after injuring right arm

That would also be a huge blow for the newly-reunited Shield as Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns will now be a man down in their feud with Samoa Joe and RAW Tag Team Champions Cesaro and Sheamus.

There had also been rumours that Ambrose would break up The Shield by betraying Rollins and facing him at Wrestlemania on April 8 at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana.

WWE claim The Lunatic Fringe injured his right arm during a six-man tag team match last Monday night on RAW when Ambrose, Rollins and Jason Jordan lost to Cesaro, Sheamus and Samoa Joe.

They also claim the injury exacerbated when the winning trio attacked the ex-WWE Champion in the trainer's room.

"An MRI has shown suspicion for a high-grade triceps tendon injury" WWE Senior Ringside Physician Dr Chris Amann The hardcore superstar, one of the toughest wrestlers in the roster, is set for a race against time as he needs surgery on what could be torn tricep tendons.

If a full tear is detected then Ambrose may be out of action until June, according to RingsideNews.com.

"An MRI has shown suspicion for a high-grade triceps tendon injury, possibly a tear, so he is undergoing surgical exploration and most likely surgical repair of the torn triceps tendon," WWE Senior Ringside Physician Dr Chris Amann told WWE.com.

"That surgery will be happening later this evening, and we should have some further updates either later tonight or tomorrow morning as to what the findings were, what the structures that were damaged were, and also a timeline for recovery.".
