Travel Sketch (PERTH) with Leon Holmes - Duration: 5:40.

So I'm standing right in front of Leon Holmes's and Sarah's front porch,

and we're gonna go painting so stick around.

It's good! I'm surprised it's still pretty warm usually I have them when it's cold.

After a hearty treat from Leon at Pinjarra Bakery and Patisserie, we headed to his friend's farm.

I was supposed to film him opening the gate because that's very Australian.

Scouting out for a place to paint takes a while.

I usually give myself about half an hour to find a good spot to paint.

So here we are in the middle of nowhere.

We have sheep poop, a little river and the ghost gum tree.

This app here tells us the direction where the sun rises and sets.

And then we can plot a good location to paint.

I'm using this old tree back here to shelter me, to shade me from the winds.

And that's my subject - the ghost gums.

Leon is probably out there trying to catch some sheep and we'll

But for now it's this ghost gum tree, so take it away...

I did a sketch first as Leon recommended.

it's really good because you put down the shadows first,

so even though the clouds move in the shadows change,

you still have that sketch that sets that direction for your final painting.

As we were leaving the farm, his friend, Erly, brought in a fresh crop

everybody welcome back to my channel so today's video is a skincare it's a

little bit of a different skincare so you'll make definitely want to make sure

you to miss any so let's gonna get started so this week's skincare it's not

high-end it's not super expensive it is actually on the best lip balms for

winter time I don't know about you but I get super severe dry chapped lips during

this type of year yeah so I drink lots of water but right now

it's snowing it's about 15 degrees and it just gets very very cold here and the

lips suffer so yeah I'm just gonna kind of go through my picks of the best

affordable lip balms that are great for moisturizing and protecting the lips so

the first one I'm gonna go ahead and start out with is I'm gonna go with the

tarmac soothing lip balm this is for everyday use I think everyone has heard

of Carmack's Carmack's is just a great brand it's very very moisturizing it's

very protecting it is medicated I do love it they do come in little pots or

the squeezy tube and they also come in just a regular roll-up stick form but

the stuff is just great because it actually leaves a protective barrier on

your lips and yeah so some people say like petroleum based lip products aren't

very good for you but to me this feels very moisturizing very nourishing and it

really does help protect my lips from the harsh climate and weather here

during the winter time okay and then I got a couple of chap sticks so I have

candy cane and I also have apple cider I love chapstick brand

lip balms they come in a lot of great fun flavors they're like a dollar or two

and they even have like multi packs that you can get those even cheaper these are

great for just popping in your purse or your pocket and they're always available

plus they actually do really really help moisturize and protect the lips but yeah

I absolutely love the fun holiday flavors so I love these they're super

cheap and they really really work super super good I'd love to use these at

night before going to bed I'll just coat my lips and the next

morning they are soft and you know ready for what lipstick or lip gloss and they

really do help with those really severe dry chapped areas on my mouth I also

have blistex blistex is another great brand if my lips are severely severely

dry I will kind of even just skip over the chapstick brand and go straight to

the blistex so the first one I have is the ballistics 5-star lip protection

this one is great it has an SPF of 30 okay you definitely do need that even

during the winter this is great it's kind of like it has like a white okay

but is so nourishing and moisturizing to the mouth it has it does have a strong

scent and flavor so if you don't like that I definitely want to recommend the

five star lip protection but I know that they do have some other blistex lip

balms that don't have any kind of fragrance or taste or anything like that

the other blistex is the cold and allergy lip soup soother this is

absolutely great once again it just really helps

to protect the lives this one smells like orange tea and it really does make

your lips feel better I don't know about you but when I get like a bad cold or

flu my lips get really dry and parched and I absolutely love the lipstick

blistex cold an allergy of lip Seward's awesome okay so I have two other ones

and this one is amazing I think a lot of people have used this even if it's not

just this flavor but it is great it is Burt's Bees okay I think we've all

remembered just the classic it smells kind of minty I do have this in mango

and this is I have to present natural it is eco-friendly and it is not tested on

animals and it is just so soothing it's thick it's balmy and I absolutely love

this for any time of year really but it's especially helpful helpful for this

time of year I do know that Burt's Bees does come out with some fun holiday

flavors and stuff I do like the original a little bit better I think they have a

pumpkin spice I think they have like a chocolate mint one the mango one is okay

I'm not a huge mango fan but it is okay even though it's not my favorite I love

the formula so I definitely do recommend it and the last one that I have is body

drench lip drench this is coconut-lime moisturizing lip balm and this stuff is

great I actually received this in my YouTube giveaway I'd never heard of this

brand but guys I am almost out of this this stuff is amazing it has a very very

light light fragrance um you definitely smell that coconut and lime but it is

absolutely wonderful on the lips this is definitely like my everyday maintenance

lip balm if my lips aren't super super dry I'll just put this on every night

and it will definitely help keep my lips moisturized because I'm a mouth breather

I will admit I'm a mouth breather anybody and this definitely helps to

help my lips stay moist and cared for but yeah if you guys have like severely

severely dry chapped lips I would definitely recommend the car mix and

some blistex these three are going to be what's helping to get those dry chapped

lips healed and then definitely inform maintenance

I love the chapstick the two chap sticks when I suggested any chapstick will do

the good old types of cherry the one in the black tube the original

is great and then the body drench lip drenches grades and then the good old

Burt's Bees is wonderful for just keeping your lips and moist and hydrated

during the winter time months but you guys I hope you enjoyed this little bit

of a different skin care lips is part part of skin care I mean it's just you

know it's part of our face it's its skin right also what's great about any kind

of these chopsticks is you know if you have like a really bad hang nail or

super dry cuticles just buy one and just use it directly for that to just apply

to your cuticles or around the edges of your nails and that will really really

Simple Fat Loss - Duration: 2:52.

what's up guys it's your boy Matty! Matt from Macro Lean and in this video I want

to talk about the "simple approach to fat loss, the simple approach to weight loss"

If you want to lose body fat, if you want to get lean, wanna get toned, you

wanna shape up, you wanna firm up, this is what you need to do because

there's so much contradicting information out there. Especially with

the internet, the interwebs, you can Google stuff can go Google

bashing if you want! That sounds a bit weird. You can go on YouTube,

Facebook or Instagram. and everyone's giving you a different

approach to losing body fat, losing weight. You have the supplement companies

touting their quick fixes and their magic pills and potions. You have Instagram

models saying go ketogenic, you have people talking about calories,

people talking about all types of approaches. Of workouts - of exercises to

do and it's overwhelming and no wonder that even people that work in the

fitness industry, the health and fitness professionals are mind-boggled sometimes.

And they flip-flop from side to side. My advice to you is if you need to lose

body fat, you need to lose weight, you want to get leaner you need to cut out

all that noise that's distracting you! You try and do this approach and then

this approach, and this approach or even worse mixing all those together you're

going to be spinning your wheels! you're going to be getting nowhere!

So what really matters in changing your body shape, in changing your composition

and changing your body fat percentage is going to be addressing your energy

balance. Calories in calories in versus calories out. So if you need 2,000

calories to maintain your current composition and now you're consuming

1700 calories you are now in a calorie deficit.

300 calorie deficit! If you're consistent with that you will see changes. Now once

you've got your calorie deficit number you want to have that divided into a

certain amount of protein fats and carbs your macronutrients. And you want to be

consistent with that number. You also want to be going to the gym three to

four times a week and doing full body resistance based workouts.

Lifting weights, kettle-bells, barbells whatever but put your muscles through

resistance. That's gonna shape, tone and going to help you maintain lean muscle

mass, and that calorie deficit with the correct amount macronutrients it's going

to help you strip body fat. That's what you should be

focusing on. Calorie deficit, macronutrients and full body resistance

workouts. Forget about supplements, forget about

fad diets, forget about apple cider vinegar or whatever... These are all ways

to distract you and there's so much noise going in the brain, in your

prefrontal cortex that it becomes overloaded with what to do and suddenly you end up doing

nothing. Inertia and apathy kicks in so cut out all the noise and focus on what

matters, what matters in fat loss or weight loss is calories,

macronutrients and full body workouts.
