I need to say that the people in Japan don't celebrate xMas at home like we usually do

in the land of the rising sun they spent xMas time with their other half

if you're single you would be alone and sad

capable to stay at home watching some drama-movies

in alternative you can go and watch the illuminations around the streets

the ones that in Italy are sometimes missing^^

and you can have a taste of fried chicken at KFC!

like the famous commercial says

be careful of the never ending queue, because it's very crowded in this period of the year!

It's like going to IKEA the 24th of december!

The Speed of Reality - Duration: 3:22.

Today was no special day at all.

When the planet, whose collection of matter was bending spacetime in a way that I was stuck to it,

was turning away from the giant ball of radiating plasma it was orbiting,

I had a long walk along stationary organisms,

who used this radiation to produce nutrition and oxygen,

which I used to fill my lungs, in order to free the energy my body runs on.

After a while I sat down on something made from the corpses of these organisms,

to have a look at this source of energy slowly getting out of view.

Due to the long distance the electromagnetic radiation had to travel along earth´s atmosphere,

the high energetic blue part of it had already scattered away, and left me with red.

When the star in front of me disappeared, I could look through the atmosphere, and see

millions of others in great distances.

And I could look into the past.

A lot of different pasts.

Because seeing means tiny units of energy emitted by them had to travel along space,

hit my eye, get directed onto receptors where a chemical process triggered an electric one,

resulting in a burst of information fed into a neural network, that was creating the sensation of the present moment.

There is a maximum speed they could go.

Some of them travelled for years, some thousands and some billions, before ending up

on the surface of my eye.

And some of the energy the star billions of years ago produced was absorbed into my brain,

changing it, making me connected with that star.

Some might have exploded thousands of years ago, long gone, yet I could still see them

until their final light reaches my planet.

No information, no influence could get here earlier.

Even if our own star, the sun, suddenly disappeared.

This planet would go around it for 8 minutes.

And there would still be daylight.

Until this sphere of information of its vanishing reaches us, then we could experience it.

And this planet would leave its circular path.

And then I left.

Leaving an expanding sphere of information behind me that I have been here.

At the speed of reality.

You don't post Facebook statuses much, unless it's to show off your quirky side.

You seriously don't understand how some people still make multiple Facebook statuses

a day (come on people, it's not 2007 anymore).

You tend to post things only after putting a lot of thought into it.

That caption has to have just the write amount of wit, and that picture has to have just

the right amount of irony.

You want people to notice you in a crowd, but never to acknowledge it.

Hello everyone, I see you all looking at me.

Yes I look awesome today, because yes I actually put eyeliner on, and if you don't notice

me I will probably be offended.

But please, for the love of god don't come over and say hi.

That will ruin it.

Sometimes you want people to take pictures of you, sometimes you want to burn all the

cameras in the world.

You just have these days where the camera is your friend, and you have no problem posing

for a cute picture.

And then other days you feel like a potato that just grew limbs and is expected to perform

a ballet.

How do you stand naturally in front of this thing?

You are either intimidated or intimidating.

happens to play on your phone, and then all the sudden you start swaggering down the street

like you can conquer the world.

And then other days the Starbucks lady makes your drink wrong and you cannot possibly confront

Seeing relatives can always be a bit of an ordeal, especially if you don't know them

well.

You end up dreading it forever, but then you actually meet them and you remember that relatives

are contractually obligated to love you, and it all turns out okay.

Being left alone with a mutual friend is your worst fear

You're so good at talking to the people you like, your friends think you're just

naturally good with all people.

You are not!

It's a trap!

Don't leave me with them!

You're just really super awkward sometimes

And that just frustrates the hell out of you.

Don't let it bother you, this just proves you're so much more than a category.
