Books I'm Taking To University [CC] - Duration: 7:40.

Hello there, it's Samantha. So today I'm coming to you with a video which is very exciting, but also like it

makes me nervous because that means that this time is very close, and, as you can

tell from the title, today I'm going to be sharing with you the books that I'm going to be taking with me

to university.

That means that I have officially reached that age where I'm

going to university, I'm leaving, I'm leaving a home to go to university. Like

obviously I'll be back in the holidays and like I haven't officially left home

yet, this is my home. But I'm going to university to study

Spanish and Latin American Studies - it's weird. The thing about the English school

system is that you do all of your exams but then you don't actually get your

results until the middle of August. So I didn't even know if I was gonna go to

university until the 17th of August and that was the day that I found out that I

didn't actually get into my first choice University, which kind of sucked, but I

really came to terms with it quite quickly, that I was gonna go to my second

choice, which is absolutely fine because I really loved my second choice! I'm

actually really excited! I love the campus! I don't really know the city that

well yet - obviously I'll get to know it but yeah

I'm super excited! I'm excited for this new chapter in my life to begin! I'm also

nervous. I have a feeling that I'm gonna be quite busy so I'm trying to pre film

and edit and upload as much as possible before the time comes for me to go, but if

there are some like lulls in uploads whilst I'm at uni, I apologise profusely

but like I'll just be like drowning in like work and meeting new people and

socialising. So I'm going to try my hardest to try and upload once a week,

but it might become once every two weeks. Also, I'm not sure how I'm gonna do

reading wise, because I do have to do a literature course within my Spanish

degree so I will have to be reading some books for that, but I've decided to take

10 books with me because I'll be there for about three months, so I feel like

10 books in 3 months is not too bad, like 3 books a month is not too

shabby, so I feel like that might be doable. I've also already looked at my

TBR jar challenges that I have remaining because, if you don't know, at

the beginning of the year I write out 12 challenges and then every month I

choose a challenge and try and complete it. It's just to try and make my reading

a little bit more interesting. So I've looked at the 3 challenges I have

left and, not to spoil the future videos, but I'm gonna have to, the 3

challenges I have left are to: read a book that I've owned since 2015; read a

book that is out of my comfort zone; and to read a book that was

written by a diverse author or has a diverse main character, so by that I mean

literally someone who's just different from me. So yeah, I've got some books with

me to take. So, let's get into it.

So the first book that I'm planning on

taking is Animal Farm by George Orwell. I'm taking this with me so that, when

that challenge comes which is to read outside of your comfort zone, I'll have

this book because this book is considered a classic - I do not read very

many classics whatsoever. and the reason I've chosen this one out of the 3

that I own by him, is because this is the smallest and it's quite short so I

feel like I'll be able to read this one, even though I'll be at uni. I also have

the Great Gatsby on Kindle, so if I don't get to this,

I can read The Great Gatsby.

The next book on my list is actually not to

complete any of my TBR jar challenges - this is just because I've been meaning

to read it for like almost a year and that's how long I've owned it for, and

that is The Winners Curse by Marie Rutkoski. My best friend Becca, she raved

about this book for ages, and then I won someone's giveaway and they were

like "what books do you want?" and I was like "oh I'll have this one." Then I didn't read it

and it's been almost a year.

The next book is another one which is just gonna

be fun, and it's another one that Becca recommended to me, and that is Heartless

by Marissa Meyer. Again, this is one that I've owned for a little while and I just

haven't got to it yet, and I feel like it's gonna be fun.

The next one on my

list is one that I was highly anticipating last year, I think I

pre-ordered it, but I haven't read it yet and that sucks!

And the second one is about to come out, and that is Three Dark Crowns by Kendare

Blake. I don't know why I haven't read this, this book sounds so intriguing! It

is about these three sisters, one of them has to become Queen, and to do that

she has to kill off her other two sisters. So it seems kind of dark...

I have heard mixed things but because I've heard those mixed things I feel like I've

got like lower expectations now going into it, but I still think I'm gonna

really enjoy it.

The next book on my list is one that is going to complete my

'reading a book that I've owned since 2015' challenge which is The Accident

Season by Moira Fowley-Doyle. I bought this book when it was like huge on

booktube. I was like "this book sounds great - I'm gonna read it really soon!" and

then I didn't touch it. I think, if I take this one to uni, then I

will be forced to read it and it just sounds really interesting! Hopefully

that challenge comes up in October because this is kind of spooky I think,

so that would be good to read in October.

The next book on my list is one that I

hope I can get to when I'm at uni, and that is Tower of Dawn by Sarah J

Maas. This one is really big, so I feel like this probably isn't the best choice

to take to uni with me, just cuz I feel like I kinda need

quick books. but sometimes her books can be super quick, so hopefully I can get to

this when I'm at uni. I just want to stay within the loop cuz like I'm already

putting myself on a book buying ban, so I'm gonna be behind on so many new

releases, so if I could at least stay up-to-date with this series, I think

that's something!

The next book that I'm bringing with me is one that I'm hoping

to read to complete the challenge of reading a book by a diverse author,

because this book is written by a Spanish author, so that's diverse in a

way because they're different from me. So the book I'm bringing with me is The

Shadow of the Wind by Carlos Ruiz Zafón. Carlos Ruiz Zafón is Spanish and this

book was translated from Spanish, and this book takes place in Barcelona, and

I'm hoping to do my year abroad in Barcelona, so I am very excited to read

more books set in that location.

The next bookk I'm taking with me is one that I should

have already read! I... like, this is shameful! But that is A Torch Against

the Night by Sabaa Tahir. I read An Ember in the Ashes last August, and I

loved it! I don't know why I didn't just pick this up right away, but I didn't and

now it's been a year, and I'm finally gonna take it with me to uni, so then

that will hopefully push me to read it, because I'll be like "oh what should I

read next?" and then I'll be like "oh look A Torch Against the Night - I'll read that!"

That is my plan - let's see if it works!

The next two books I have on my list are

Christmas themed because I am going to be at uni until the 15th of December. I

feel like these are gonna be great things to take with me to help me get into the

holiday spirit. The first one I have is Getting Kole for Christmas by Kimberly

Krey. I won this book in a Goodreads giveaway in October or November of last

year and, for some reason, it got lost in the mail or something, I didn't actually

get it till March, so obviously I would have read this last year, but I didn't get

chance to. This is just a really short, really cute novella about this girl who,

I think, is in love with her best friend and something's gonna happen and it's

gonna be cute and Christmasy themed. I'm excited to read it, even though it's

probably gonna be trash, but you know, who doesn't love a bit of trash?

And the final book I'm taking with me is another Christmasy one. I got this one in December

last year - I actually went to a book signing for this book with my friends, so

it's signed by a bunch of authors. But this is another anthology of short

stories, which is not my favorite thing in the world - I'm not a huge fan of short

stories - but still I feel like holiday books are always great! So it's this book

called I'll Be Home For Christmas by a whole bunch of authors.

It's a UKYA book so they're all written by British, young adult authors. I

don't really read a lot of books written by British authors which, I know, is

terrible because I should really be supporting people who are from where I'm

from, but I just don't - I tend to reach more for the American

authors. It's probably cuz of BookTube influencing me that way. I'm excited to

read stories by these various authors and then hopefully pick up more of their

books in the future!

Today in military history, 1961.

The 5th Special Forces Group is activated at

Fort Bragg, North Carolina.

The Cold War completely changed the way

the US planned to fight hot wars.

Special Forces were designed to organize

and train guerrillas behind enemy lines.

The US army's 5th Special Forces Group

for Special Forces was formed to do just that,

as the War in Vietnam began to heat up.

President John F. Kennedy was a strong believer

in the capabilities of special warfare.

He visited the Special Warfare Center at Fort Bragg

to review the training program.

There, he authorized Special Forces soldiers

to wear their distinctive green berets.

The Green Berets, as they would become known,

would deploy to Vietnam in 1964 to take control

of the Special Forces in the country.

They accomplished their mission of controlling

Vietnam's indigenous tribes and rallying them

against the Communists.

At the war's height, the Fifth Special Forces Group

controlled 84 of the civilian or regular defense groups,

comprising some 42,000 men.

Now, although the Fifth Special Forces Group was

one of the smallest units engaged in Vietnam,

its soldiers are amongst the most decorated

in the history of our nation.

I'm a scientist, inventor, artist, cuber.

What do I like about inventing?

Everything!

Well you see, inventing is a way for me to release my creativity, but the cool thing

about inventions is that you can invent from your mind.

You can take what's in your mind, put it on paper, take what's on that paper and make

it real.

Before Max starts on a new invention, he always draws out a plan on paper.

God has a plan for each of us!

In the Bible, book of Jeremiah chapter 29 verse 11 says, "'For I know the plans I have

for you," says the Lord."

Whether it's wondering if I can build a robot or maybe just conducing a Tesla coil so that

I can shoot electricity from my finger tips.

Max is very curious how things work.

Just look at all the cool inventions he created.

He collects all kinds of used things so that he can make cool inventions.

Max likes to come up with solutions that solve other people's problems.

I'm just a kid who wants to make the world a better place.

Just like God gave Max the gift to solve problems, God gave you special gifts.

hey cruisers guess what today is it is embarkation day. Welcome to San

Francisco we just got off the freeway and we are making our way down into the

city into the Embarcadero area and my nav says that it's gonna take us 23

minutes to go the remaining two point seven miles to the ship so we thought

we'd say hello you get this vlogging party started

So you can tell from the sound of my voice has been a little bit of a

difficult day I'm experiencing severe allergies and as a result I have a

terrible cough had to go to the drugstore and get some cough suppressant

so I could even talk and now I'm feeling a lot better so we just made the drive

from Gilroy up to San Francisco is gorgeous 72 degrees outside and sunny

doesn't get any better than this in San Francisco there is ZERO marine layer

right now it's gorgeous it's about 11 o'clock we're a little bit running a

little bit later than usual just a little bit of a slow start but we're

really excited we are if we haven't mentioned it yet we are going on the

Grand Princess for a 10 night Alaska cruise round-trip San Francisco we're

gonna be visiting Ketchikan Skagway Juneau and on the way back down we're

gonna be visiting Victoria British Columbia and I think I might be in the

wrong lane right now so I might have to change lanes but anyways yep I got to

change lanes guys next time we see you will probably be showing you around the

baggage drop-off area if we can and also the parking area for the port of San

Francisco we are cruising out of pier 27 today but there is no real parking at

the pier so we're going to be parking at 80 Francisco and we're gonna try to

explain that process to you guys a little bit because it's kind of

confusing for people who have never cruised out of San Francisco before so

we'll see in a little bit

Alright you guys, baggage drop at Pier 27 to San Francisco is a hot mess

we couldn't find a porter, and my husband almost got hit by a car and it took

forever so it is now 11:45 and you just have to build in extra massive amounts

of extra time if you're cruising out of San Francisco it's just very

metropolitan very crowded very unorganized

there's just no infrastructure for the pickup that's happening here of people

who are getting off the ship and the drop-off of people are coming in so I

got to go cuz I got to go get our parking Panda directions so we'll show

you guys where to park if you come to San Francisco Park so like I mentioned

there is no parking in the port of San Francisco nation is on your lap yeah the

destination is here okay so you have to park at 80 Francisco Street if you are

going to the port of San Francisco and it is right here we are about maybe a

block away from the cruise port but you have to take a few turns so what you do

is you get online and you make a reservation with parking panda or in

park for 80 Francisco Street unfortunately it's like 16 bucks a day

and I'm gonna talk to this nice lady so one more moment it's the parking garage

is right behind us and we're walking like two blocks to the ship it is such a

pretty day in San Francisco my only wish is that we were running a little bit

earlier today so what I thought was like a block walk is more like a half a mile

but there is the ship and that that's where we came from somewhere over

yonder anyway it's quite a hoof so you

definitely do want to drop off your luggage if it's heavy

before you park at 80 Francisco moral of the story drop off your luggage pretty

big I realize

made it inside the concourse kind of see outside terminals beautiful here not

sure I'm supposed to be filming so we'll keep this short

all right priority check-in that was smooth security was smooth now nice

young man is helping us to get our cruise cards and our foot back and to

get on board soon as we got our cards we got to board so here we go crossing the

gangplank all right we made it on board and we're gonna take a look around the

room I have an inside cabin on this cruise because it saved us like two to

three thousand dollars you guys so maybe not ideal but but we're used to it and

we have a secret door right out the back of the ship that takes us out to the

terrace pool that is literally maybe 20 feet away so we'll show you that in a

bit but let's take a look around the room we're excited to be on board ok so

when you first walk into an inside cabin on Grand Princess it looks a little bit

like this we have a quad room even though there's only three of us first

thing you see here is the closet nice supply of hangers life vests and of

course we just have our bags kind of sitting there because my husband ran off

to go do the ship tour okay back in the door full-length mirror which is really

nice it's good a nice huh so maybe we'll do some of our outfit of

the day videos in here and this is the full-length closet with shelves that was

a little high that's gonna be my husband and then it's safe which appears to be a

combination operated so this is not a credit card operated okay and then a

series of shelves going all the way down to the floor and we'll take a quick look

at the restroom okay pretty standard restroom smells like

vinegar it has shelves just on the one side here of the bathroom and those are

the amenities for now anyway I'm not seeing the robes here yet we did

ask for robes but before we leave me show you the shower

pretty standard nice and tall I've seen I've seen bigger and crazy turbo flush

cruise toilet and then we have our two beds here now when you have upper bunks

they will not allow you to push these beds together so something that you've

probably seen before in our vlogs there's the second bed which we won't be

using okay and then of course we have over here the flat-screen TV which is

usually showing Love Boat reruns but it's not today it's a nice flat-screen

pretty big - and if I'm not mistaken there's probably an outlet up there

anyways okay over here we have some the cup that comes with the soda package and

then we have a mini fridge let's take a look at the mini fridge let's see if

it's empty it just has water in it so that's nice

and we can put our Lacroix in there that will be cool and then we have our

standard little vanity table here with your remote telephone hairdryer and it

looks like some other little things here shore excursion information a card for

our stateroom steward and some onboard deals it's pretty much about the cabin

pretty tiny this is gonna be our home for 10 nights. Scott singer of Scott

singer cruises here on YouTube told us all about a secret back door on Grand

Princess that takes you out to the terrace pool I think it's called so my

son and I are gonna go check it out right now

supposedly it's right out that door if that looks like heaven raised let's go

so check it out you ready right to the terrace pool

that beautiful this is awesome okay so there's a little door very cool so

pretty on the back of the ship you guys right now look at San Francisco behind

us I need to get my shades on but how gorgeous is that with that big huge flag

blowing so pretty

something going on out there. One thing I've never really done before is vlog myself

unpacking getting our room kind of organized so I thought I would show you

guys that so I just opened up this giant suitcase down here on the floor and I'm

kind of taking everything out of it and the first thing I'm going to do is I'm

going to take our outerwear out of this giant compression bag you guys will not

believe how much is in this thing it's really funny my husband got out the

compression bags in the pump so let's open it and see how big everything gets

and how fast I don't think it really even does it justice but that teeny tiny little

pancake pretty much all over giant pokey outerwear so basically I'm just getting

all of this stuff hung up in the closet and oh they're making the announcement

for the muster drill so you probably have to cut this short but I've started

to get really organized put things in the fridge and put these the drawers and

then put things in the closet I do want to show you guys with the claws it looks

like full come with me really quick

they're not calling ups the closets pretty small but I'm kind of getting it

all squared away I just want to give you guys a general idea of how many hangers

are in here because I know a lot of people are curious princess is pretty

good about hangers and there's a ton of pant hangers and then probably about ten

regular nice wooden hangers too and they're just real hangers they're not

the type that you get in a hotel room or you like you know you have to put the

little hook into the bar so you don't steal the hanger so I really appreciate

that about Princess it's really nice so this is ask getting organized it's

definitely not done yet but I'm anxious to unpack before the muster drill today

I just feel like I want to get settled in probably because it's a smaller room

so we're gonna head to the muster drill

we're underway in San Francisco with our telltale trail of seagulls

so warm you guys this is not normal for San Francisco

absolutely beautiful so enjoy sail away go to one of the upper decks and get a

little bit of dancing

martinis and I'm going for the Bronx which is Tanqueray and perfect vermouth

who and orange juice City it's going to be good or too sweet for me

all right the muster drill is over we've sailed under the Golden Gate Bridge

our son is swimming in not warm but a hot heated outdoor pool were under the

elements right now it's so beautiful and they are setting up

setting up for movies under the stars it's a gorgeous night in San Francisco

awesome sail away you have to check out the big screen right here it's amazing

so it's 5:30 ish and we change our are assigned 5:30 dining time to a seven

o'clock standing reservation into anytime dining or much I didn't know you

could do but apparently if you're willing to give up your 5:30 table you

can have pretty much anything you want so we got a reservation at 7:00 so our

plan is to let our son swim he's been wanting to swim all day but it hasn't

really been possible and then we're going to go enjoy the Platinum lounge

it's at the at the club where Skywalker's would normally be on one of

these ships and have reduced-price drinks and guacamole and chips and then

head over to dinner I'm not even sure that we're going to change clothes

tonight for dinner usually we do but I'm feeling like this is a really really

casual cruise with a pretty casual vibe so they will just stay in these clothes

and see how it goes but right now the little man is just climbing into the hot

tub he's having the time of his life just him and one little boy are enjoying

this amazing pool the covered pool is actually closed and so are the hot tubs

but this is so warm out here and so quiet and it's not very windy yet that

it really doesn't matter so we're he'd be really really low speed

until we get out of San Francisco they said that once you go to the Golden Gate

and you motor along until about 9:30 in whale protected waters so you have to be

really careful to go really slow so not a lot of movement on the ship tonight

and not a lot of wind it's really really beautiful we're having a very relaxing

time it's starting to get in the groove

so you guys remember our Star Princess vlogs from last year where we discovered

the little loyalty lounge that they have so on the Grand Princess they known to

have Skywalker's lounge they took that big old arch off of the ship and they

replaced it with this adorable venue called Club One5 is it the club One 5 honey? and

it's this cute swanky a flange on Deck 15 that overlooks the aft pool and between

5 and 7 if you're platinum or elite I think something like that I don't really

know the loyalty levels that well you come back here and get drink specials

and free snacks before dinner and tonight I got the Mayan mule for 650

that's a pretty good deal for a cruise drink and it's basically a Moscow Mule

with tequila and it's really really good a little bit sweet for my taste but

really tasty and it's chips and guacamole tonight so kind of a Mexican

themed but anyway this is the most adorable venue well of course show you

around a little bit in the vlog today and in our ship tour it's just the best

way to kind of get a snack and a nice deal on a cocktail as an appreciation

for being a loyal princess cruiser the break of dinner we will be here probably

just about every single night Cheers our first day has flown by

I cannot remember a time when I was more tired than I am today at the end of a

day one I know that battling a cough and having not been feeling well maybe

having allergies has been a factor in that but has just been a very very very

long day overall the day was great and our princess experience has been amazing

I love that we had chocolates on our pillows when we came back to our room

after dinner and the good old classic come back new her usable bags see which

on the back on the bed awesome so a lot of things went really well today our

servers in the main dining room at dinner were amazing we got a wonderful

table our cabin steward is adorable his name is Marc Anthony and he is so sweet

and so polite and so high-energy it's unbelievable

the only thing I think that we wish would have gone differently is we would

have got an earlier start and been on the ship earlier but overall embarkation

was amazing the day was great and we're really excited to get into the cruise so

be sure to stick around you guys and come back and watch the rest of the

vlogs because today it's just the beginning and we're going to Ketchikan

Juneau Skagway and Victoria British Columbia so that is gonna be so much fun

we're hoping for good weather there's been a lot of rain the last few weeks

I'm hearing over and over again how cold and rainy it has been so I guess we'll

just have to see what the weather brings and what kind of surprises are coming

but we have so many fun episode's coming for you guys and really appreciate you

The Hardest Movies To Watch More Than Once - Duration: 6:03.

Even good Hollywood movies can be hard to watch twice.

In the case of these films, it's not bad writing or uninspired performances that make the movies

hard to screen a second time.

Rather, they're so depressing, shocking, or even terrifying that one cinematic exposure

to them is more than enough to last a lifetime.

In the case of these films, they're worth watching — but you probably won't want to

see them again after that.

Requiem For a Dream

This adaptation of Hubert Selby's novel is a brutal, bleak, and visceral film in which

Darren Aronofsky opens a window on the lives and experiences of four different drug addicts.

And that view is decidedly grim.

"I like thinking about the red dress and the television, and…"

The stunning visuals and harrowing story grab hold of you and don't let go for 101 excruciating

minutes.

It's a mind-bender of a film that will leave you depressed for days and seriously contemplating

your own bad habits.

Dogville

Lars Von Trier's movies all tend to fit in the category of just-one-timers, and that's

certainly the case with the second installment of his Land of Opportunity trilogy, Dogville.

This film, which is told in nine parts, chronicles the grueling experience of a woman who, on

the run from the mafia, decides to hide out in a rural town.

The residents agree to provide her shelter in exchange for her completing their various

low-level chores.

But her relationship with the town descends into unethical abuses of the woman, including

multiple sexual assaults — all very difficult to stomach the first time around, let alone

on a repeat viewing.

Passion of the Christ

Director Mel Gibson threw everything he had into this harrowing, vicious film about the

final days of Jesus Christ.

As the title indicates, it was meant to be a showcase of just how much grace and conviction

the religious figure showed in the face of extreme brutality from his executioners.

And while the film certainly did its job of reminding its intended audience of the sacrifices

Jesus endured, even viewers who might've revered its message the first time may have a hard

time bearing witness to the shocking level of violence again.

Bad Lieutenant

Onscreen sexual violence can be upsetting in virtually any form, but the sheer lechery

of the central character in Bad Lieutenant is especially difficult to observe.

The movie serves to ultimately exonerate the drug-addled, unpredictable officer.

But the journey to get to that point teems with tough material that includes the assault

of a nun and his use of authority to force two young women into a sexual act.

It's impossible to unsee the events of the movie — and hard to imagine voluntarily

watching them again.

Boys Don't Cry

Hilary Swank's Academy Award-worthy performance as Brandon Teena, a real-life transgender

man who was raped and murdered in 1993, was certainly groundbreaking, as it shed light

on an underexplored sector of hate crimes that were — and are still — being committed

against transgender individuals.

At the same time, it was also incredibly difficult to bear and probably counts for many as a

movie that's worth watching once … but maybe just the one time.

Irreversible

This 2002 French horror film tops many best and worst lists precisely because of how horrific

its lengthy and gratuitous rape scene is.

The film tells the reverse chronological story of a woman who is raped and beaten into a

coma by a notorious criminal.

And it includes several scenes of intense cruelty and graphic violence that makes it

almost unwatchable the first time around for any audience members with functional eyes.

We Need to Talk About Kevin

As prevalent as mass murder attacks might be in real life, it's still quite hard to

enjoy any piece of artwork that tries to synthesize the psyche and history of a young person who

commits these heinous acts.

In the case of We Need to Talk About Kevin, an all-star cast delivers sound, impactful

work to peel back the layers of life that led up to the title character's horrific actions.

"You did not."

That said, the movie is still difficult to process and might leave viewers feeling unfulfilled

and even more hopeless and confused than before.

Maybe that's the whole point — to highlight the sheer senselessness of it all — but

it's still hard to imagine working up an appetite to watch it again.

Precious

Based on the autobiographical novel Push by Sapphire, Precious made for incredible, indelible

cinema thanks to some blistering truth about a segment of society most people might not

understand.

The movie tells the story of a young girl whose life consists of parental abuse and

neglect first, poverty second, and whose struggle to survive the mean streets and her even meaner

home life is a daily battle.

Anyone who's seen it no doubt walked away a little different than they came in … if

unwilling to watch it again.

"You ain't gonna see me no more."

Blue Valentine

Derek Cianfrance's Blue Valentine brims with raw emotion and sexuality, but it's the depressing

nature of the narrative that really resorts this one to the dustiest shelves.

The film is a categorical showcase of rich acting by its leads, Michelle Williams and

Ryan Gosling.

But the biting, bitter truth that even the most earnest romances can sputter out so spectacularly

might hit a little too close to home, in a very literal sense, for many viewers to push

play again.

Schindler's List

There's no doubt Schindler's List is one of the most important films to ever grace a theater.

Steven Spielberg's adaptation of this work of historical fiction gave light to the real

work Oskar Schindler did to save the lives of his Jewish employees during World War II.

It painfully depicted the real horrors of the era in unforgiving detail.

In fact, it's precisely because of the raw sense of dread and devastation that it ranks

among those that must be seen at least once — but is probably difficult to revisit for

most.

American History X

Tony Kaye's American History X went to some incredibly disturbing lengths to capture the

true depravity that neo-Naziism inspires and is fueled by.

And while the overarching narrative is optimistic in the sense that empathy is within reach

for even the most seemingly unsalvageable individuals, the road to that character recovery

is immensely upsetting to watch.

Not only are the language and imagery purposefully offensive, but the acts of violence committed

in the movie are unspeakable.

It's hard to imagine anyone choosing to endure it all again after seeing it the first time.

10 CS:GO HIDDEN SECRET SPOTS - Duration: 7:42.

Hey guys, NadeKing here.

In todays video I show you 10 Secret spots in CS:GO, which you probably have not seen

yet.

I tried to find some original and creative spots, so even if you are Global Elite or

Faceit FPL player you may learn some new things from this video.

Also, our notification squad are still looking for new members..

Now prepare yourself to see hopefully something new.

Lets start off with a secret spot and cool offangle from De_Nuke.

Everybody knows you can camp here right behind this CT vent, but you can also create a cool

offangle, if your teammate is willing to boost you up here on

this edge of this vent.

So if Ts are pushing from hut or squeaky door, this angle may work for you, as they are not

ready to aim up here.

This position may give you some easy frags if you dont use it too often in

one match.

Just try it out.

De_Cache and T spawn.

So we are playing a slow round and your job is to watch for any CT aggression towards

B main.

One common spot to do it from T spawn is right here, but we have a cooler alternative right

here.

Just crouch and look through this little gap.

Here you can see this position in play from the enemy perspective.

As you can see - it is really hard to spot you like this.

Keep in mind that both of these positions would require scoped weapon as you are really

far from the enemy.

So better do not use this spot with AK, rather AWP and it will work fine.

Alright, De_Mirage.

We are in the kitchen or market, people call this place with different names.

I havent really seen anybody in this sneaky position, so it is definitely suprising for

the enemy if they see you right here.

So let your teammate boost you and climb up here.

Great spot to suprise your enemies and maybe collect some weapons or get the first frag

while retaking the site, as they may start pushing to this area right here.

Supergeneral.

Again one more sneaky spot from De_Mirage.

This one is really situational, but there are rounds when CTs decide to push ramp or

palace and then go further to T base.

So, when CTs act like I described you can stay in this corner, like shown and

the guys who are pushing T spawn probably will run past you and you could get some really

easy frags.

Nobody really expects you to be here, unless he is x.

Next up De_Cache and squeaky door zone.

If you got one friendly teammate with you, you could climb up here.

This is a great spot to hold if you are playing slow round, as CTs may check squeaky in the

middle of the round for any extra information.

You should easily get them from here.

As you can see, if enemy opens the door, he will not really watch up here at first, so

you will got a nice advantage when you play this position and your plan

is to play really slow round.

De_Train and ivy.

This position more or a less requires T main control and Pop Dog control, but if you got

the control of those areas, then it is a great position to hold off Ivy attack.

You need to get supergeneral boost from your friend and then stay right here on these boxes.

I do not see people playing in this position too often and I think it is because of the

control you need to have in order to use this spot.

If you do not have T main control you may easily get backfired and it is not good.

So try this spot, if you got your back covered by your teammates.

Alright one secret spot for De_Inferno.

Again really situational, may suit for you if you are going to play really slow round

and CTs are often pushing apartments.

So, ask for a boost and climb up on this door right here.

From this position you got a great advantage against enemy who is going down from these

stairs and aggressive players are doing it kind of often.

Great if you are aware of that spot especially when you play a lot of Inferno.

De_Cache again.

Middle.

Secret spot, which may be common for some of you, altough if you use it once or twice

in a match - trust me it is really effective.

So, definitely smoke middle before trying to go to this spot.

Now go next to vent and do those easy jumps and here you are.

Enemies may hear you jumping here, so let your teammate mask your sound with his shooting

sound and if they do not hear you jumping to this position,

you will most likely get some free kills and even with Supremes and Global Elites, it works

really well.

Also, keep in mind that if somebody comes from boost, they will probably check left

side middle and you may have a kinda fair battle here, but if enemies come

to middle from mid main, then 90% of the times they wont check this place.

Supergeneral.

De_Cobblestone and one secret peaking spot next to A bombsite.

So surf up from this stone pillar like shown and now if you play with your crouch button

you got a great peekers advantage, because this stone pillar

is not wallbangable and if you do this peek fast it is really hard to react because only

the top of your head will be visible if you do this.

Keep in mind that if you are crouching you are not visible from CT ramp unless

they are already really close.

Make sure to try this spot out, really OP stuff.

Just make sure one of your teammates is holding A long, otherwise you may easily get backfired.

And the last tip for this video.

This takes place on De_ Overpass.

We are in the connector.

Some of you probably know this spot, but it is really overpowered if could silently go

there.

So start with a proper smoke and then climb to this position.

Just like this.

You can actually see a bit to the B short also and if they are coming from connector

and they are lower ranks, they wont expect you to be here.

This is really a overpowered spot right here.

In the higher rankings ofcourse, enemies will check almost every corner, but if you are

playing on the lower level, try this spot out and enjoy your easy kills.
