Hey guys! My name is Sasha and today I am gonna be talking about my weight loss story
It all began 6 years ago when I first started thinking that my arms, legs were fat
I had muffin top when I was wearing jeans
I weighed around 50 kilos *it is 112 lbs*
I am not 100% sure, bc I had no scales back then
My height was around 165 cm
but I didn't do anything, I knew I needed to lose weight
but I kept eating
I started trying to lose weight about 4 years ago
And what diets did I choose?
Of course a liquid diet and fasting
Also when this all began I was taking antidepressants
which helped me not to feel the hunger
but they gave me a lot of side effects
like headache, dry mouth
but I thought it is not that bad bc I was't hungry bc of pills
those pills helped me a lot
I could go without food for many days
Antidepressants caused euphoria
and slowly form little amount of food
I went to a complete fasting
I wasn't hungry and just water was enough for me
Every morning I woke up and the first thing I did
was going to the bathroom
and weighing myself 10 times in a row
in different positions
If the scale showed me 40,2 kilos (88 lbs) I needed to make sure it is not lying
I went too far and reached my lw which was 38 kilos (83 lbs)
I was too happy and proud
I was happy I was losing weight and didn't need anything else
I was happy I could wear kids clothes, for ex 9 yo kids jeans
One time we went shopping and I couldn't find my jeans size
and we went to a kids section
where I found jeans for a 10 yo girl
and I bought them. I was happy
and proud bc I did it, I did what I wanted to do
I didn't want to stop, but some things happened in my life and I had to stop
I started eating and I gained everything I lost back
As soon as I gained that weight I was mad, I was panicking
I started hating my body
and I wanted to get my old body back
I wanted to be skinny again
I wanted to reach my lw again
Why exactly was my dream weight 38 kilos? (83 lbs)
bc I thought I look awesome in this weight
*TW* my fav diets were a liquid, choco diet and just fasting
unfortunately when I tried to lose weight again
I didn't have that will power I had before
and I always ended up binging
and I couldn't reach my lw
I decided if I can't lose weight I need to love my body
it was a stguggle bc I couldn't look at myself
I avoided mirrors
tried not to look at myself at all
and I thought I made some progress
but the thoughts of losing weight
didn't want to get out of my head
for several years I tried to fight these thoughts
but in the previous year I got back on track
and I made a present for my b day and lost weight again
I was happy
I started losing weight last summer
and during the summer I lost about 6 kilos and reached 39 kilos
but I promised to eat on my b day
We went to a sushi restaurant, had dinner
and I decided to check my weight after I ate sushi
I saw that I gained 3-4 kilos in a day
I was panicking
but I tried to calm down saying it is all water retention, water and food weight
I lost it and after that I started binging
I ate everything I saw
There was a voice in my head telling me
"Hey! You lost weight! You can eat now"
"You have your life ahead! You will lose weight later!"
and it still happens now
I can't lose weight bc I always fail at it
and I can't accept my body
as soon as I start a diet I lose it and I start binging
and I always want to reach my lw
Do I wish it never happened? Of course I do
I wish I could go back in time and tell myself
"Don't diet! Eat whatever you want!"
but it is not gonna happen
if you tried to lose weight just once
it is not gonna leave you
maybe today you are dieting, tomorrow you are not
but after some time you will want to lose again
bc it is too addicting
and speaking about my case
I eat or I fast there is no in between
In this video I tried to tell you about my story and my feelings
but as you understand I can't tell the numbers or the amount of calories I had
bc it is dangerous
So love your body, do sports
don't diet and don't fast
eat moderately and stay active
All these diets, fasting, nerves, self loathing
won't lead you anywhere
