Waching daily Aug 21 2017

Hi and welcome again to Revientor Reborn, this is DCSw in a F-5 and look this cammo

it´s from the sqn 464, the 46 wing, in Gando Canary Island, this sqn was born in 1972 when the F-5 was active as interceptors

the when the mirage F1 come this sqn was vanish and the 462 was generated, this is the representation of this sqn

today I will speak about the electronic warfare

chaff and flares and RWR

let´s see the panel

sim paused and let talk

this is the panel you can see one part to the chaffs and other one to flares

each part have a knob and the knob of the chaff (antiradiation missiles)

there is the option off, single, only one chaff released each time you push the button

program, is run a preset, will speak later of that program

then is the multi option that runs the program only once

Flares have the off, single, the same as before and program, to use the preset of flares

flare is used against IR missiles

there is the flare jettison that you will use only in emergencies like landing with no gears

with that button all flares will be released each 0.2 seconds

you can use that also to try to avoid powerful missiles like Aim9X

look the kneboard, when the engine is off and the plane in ground you can change all those info,

to edit the countermeasure programs you can use the mission editor or the kneeboard

here you will have to use those key combinations to change the values

the default programs have all with 1s

for that if you use the program looks that there is nothing different happening

for that I set all with 2s to explain it better

imagine you run the program, first I will speak about the chaff

chaff bust quantity is 2, that means you will release 2 chaffs, those two chaff are going to be separated 0.2 second (since the first chaff was released)

this sequence is going to be repeated (chaff salvo quantity) 2 times

a remark here, 2 times means the first one is already counting, then there is only the second one

the chaff salvo interval is the time between the sequences are repeated

for that looks like the default program do nothing special because all are 1s

the flare only have two lines, is simple, you only can say how many flares you want to release

you can not repeat sequences here, only how many and what time separation

flare bust count are the number of flares to release and bust interval are the time between the flares

it´s true that flare bust count the options are 2, 4, 8, and C of continuous

in continuous is each 3 second drop a flare until you run out of flares

in the case you are in continuous mode, and you want to stop the program

to cancel the drop, you have to move the flare knob to off

if you only select single the promam stop running but in the moment you set program again, the program continue running for that you have to go through off position

that is how this panel works

very simple

remember the multi is the chaff program only run one time, with out the chaff salvo count

the program is run only once

now for a example

look, all in single that is the countermeasures button,

you can pus single only one system or both, I hit the button and only one is released

now in flare, one of each type is released

program only in chaff and run the program, as you can see the number decrease 2 times

meanwhile only one flare, now both with the program, and you can see the program running both ones

if the chaff are in multi, you will see only release 2 chaff but the program is not repeated

you can have multi and program in flares, it´s independent

that is how the chaff and flare works in the system, you can see the jettison,

thanks

look the numbers now when I use the jettison,

did you see how fast it is?

there you can see how fast it is

with this flares you can evade a more complex missile xD

the jettison is permanent moving the counter,

this other small buttons, reset the counter

you can select the different preset

if you mess with that in mid air, you must know that the count it´s not real

if you don't have any flare in this case using the countermeasures button the counter still discounting the number

the you can hear the keyboard, and the flare still decreasing xD

as you can see there is not a good feedback of the total amount

you only have to believe in that

now I will say to you some advice how to use this panel

I will make a program studying the area and see what are the common air defences , of course if Iam going to perform a por up bomb method, you can not take too much attention to the countermeasures, then in that case I will use a program to that specific moment

A flare each 3 second you will have protection 30 second if you only want to spend 10 flares, we keep those 5 to other emergencies

in case of aerial combat I will use manual in both flares or chaff

when ouf of combat zone I will keep the system in single for chaff and off for flares, then in zone of combat with enemies near I would think to set single in flares too

I´d keep the flares in off because someone can shoot you a radiric missile too far away and in this case you don't loose time to change the knobs and you can drop the countermeasures

you know that some sams or airplanes are more susceptible to chaff than other for that a good program could save you faster than a standard one

the best way to employ chaff and flare is drop them when you put the enemy at your 2 or 10 o'clock (45º)

for example a patriot could be defeated using 7 chaffs very quickly dropped (just example)

there is people that study that and make kneeboard of that

the really same vs air therast , you can use multi for Airplanes, and program for a sam

and single to the other engagements

now it´s time to the RwR

look the scope when is on there are some green bars here

in this side on the right that bar is jumping up and down, that is for the pilot know the system is working

when WOW will show a U in the center

this panel is used in several airplanes, for that there are functions no implemented in the real F-5

this rwR is really simple in my opinion too simple and may be not realistic

this is the panel to interact with the system

dim is the bright of the buttons, and audio level

this is the bright of the RwR

the handoff is not working in the F-5, in the F16 works as select the emitter to heard

launch will see working, is a light when someone shoot at you a missile

altitude is other mode, to set the priority of the sams that cover low or hi altitude

to priorice low coverage or not

sa10 is a big and hi cover and sa11 is low cover for example

tgt step is separation will see this in the practice , system test perform a test

unknown will activate ships and unknown emitters

atp/pwr will light when activity is registred in the rwr

system power is the turn on button

the search button I don´t like how this works

in the F16 when you use search the search radar are showed,

like all air bases have a radar that kind of radar will be show when this button is pressed,

but a F-15 have a one radar with different radar modes, but is the same radar, you will see later that now there is nothing, because no one is locking up to us, if you turn on search you will see all the radars

now using search you can see all the contacts

look 2 F16 1 E3 some patriot sams....

I want to know when a E3 look at me not engage me, I don´t like too much that way to work in this RwR

when you enter in cockpit do not forget to turn on the search function xD

in search you will only get 16 emitters , all the american RwR have this inner circle to think about a lethal range

the signal could be weaker or stronger according that the symbol will be drao in or out the lethal circle

the idea is to know when the emitter is in range, is kind of distance idea but not between different symbols

that E3 is further than the F16 and according the RwR looks the same distance

wait to stabilize the flight, some trimming here

the TGT Step is just simple, you can see it now, it´s for make separation between the emitters to see clearly

those F16 in case to be 3 that separation could be lateral too, in this case is one behind the other be casuality

be careful when using target step because it´s not a heading like the normal mode

the heading is close but in the case of the 16s if there was more of them will be laterally separated

the mode by default is open, and you can see 16 targets, or priority, only the most dangerous 6

there you can see the separation

now in priority I only can see the 6 more dangerous emmiters

in open mode, you can see that the ground units are less important for the system

there you can see the 6 contact now

there are 8 contact because the other ones will be pointint to other side

the test you have to hold it and then it starts

some sound and all is working ok as usual in the simulator

unknown is for ships for example, at my 6 must have some but... I do´t know if it is not implemented

and will show to you some radars that are not in the library of the plane with the letter U

active power is just a light

but it´s nos well implemented because have no light while some activity is in the RwR

normally this buttons as lunch if you press it must have a light test

alt low if for low altitude scanning radars to give them priority

power is of or on and when on a self test is inicialitez

some number an the zulu time

there are 3 types of sound in the system

that pii pii is the new guy the new emitter in the RwR

and finally the test is over

and now search and we get some nails

I cut the video to show to you the sound now there is nothing in the rwr

now with search we can see it

that circle is that I am locked in its radar

that sound and the circle flashing means you had been fired a missile

this system ys very demanding for the pilot

because the pilot will have to manage the system all the time to know more threats or search emitters

more missiles incoming

the system have blind spots

now if the contact turn off the radar I will not know if the radar is of or in search mode I will have to manage the rwr

now the emitter could have the radar off or may be just tuned in other heading

may be I still running and there is no one behind, I have to push search function to know it

in friendly zone I will use the search on and then in enemy or hostile zone I will change the mode very often to know what happen near me

each time a new guy song is played I will use immediately the search option

I know what are there and I go back, eventually I will change the option to know if he still there or not an that the way to use it

that is the work load in cockpit with this rwr

may be it´s interesting know what key in the keyboard is that button to use it very quickly

now let see the R-77 to know how active missiles work with thie RwR

there is a mig29 with the R-77 ready to fire

this time of missile is active, with a data link guided phase

for that the rwr will have no info of the shooting

but in DCS you will know because the AI is very stupid using the radar

now I know the contact lock the target on my, may be could be the real life the rwr can know this I am not sure

so you will hear a sound of fire, but you must nos must heard that with this type of missile

there is the fire sound

7 time the piii

now I knot that he shoot at my this is bad, because with this missile that is irreal,

there you can see the M of the R-77

this is kind of chetty

I don´t this I evaded that missile....

a second missile

looks the emitter switch to search mode and I defeat the missiles

Again this button must be in the keyboard to avoid spent time with the mouse

that was the today tutorial I hoe you liked, sorry for the last part of the video with low voice volume, subscribe give a feedback and be happy

SP4ZIE & ATHENA SVARAR - BÄST PÅ ATT DANSA? | #AskCokeTV - Duration: 4:04.

Hi and welcome to CokeTV Sweden with me Athena and "Spuzie"!

-We're here at Djurgården, we've moved out. -Out, yes!

And we're going to to a Q&A where we answer your questions that you've left in the comment section.

-And to do that we need what? -A bucket!

I'm going in!

"What's your favorite dish?"

-I think this is so hard because I love all food. -It's impossible.

Yes, we can't.

But if you can choose three dishes?

Oh, three dishes...

Well it's not a dish, but all seafood are amazing.

Crayfish, crab, shrimp...

-Then you might like "Tutti Frutti di mare?" -"Tutti Frutti di mare"?

No... frut... Frutti...

I could never live without seafood.

-No, okay. So seafood is your... -Yes, I'm saying that.

That's the think I would never stop eating.

I love meat and potato gratin.

That's the best, and then I like tacos and sushi.

And Persian food.

I think it's my duty to say that because I'm from Iran.

Swedish food at first and then... Yes!

Yes but I feel like it's my duty, okay? I'm from Iran. I need to represent.

-Okay, here comes a boat. -Yes.

Should we look awkwardly at them when they're passing?

Hi!

"Who's the best at dancing?"

"Ugly dancing" is me!

That's what I was going to say.

-Let's do one each... We do one move each by the water. -Okay.

-And then we'll see who... And then you guys behind the camera can vote. -Yes.

-Just one move? -One move

Yes that's good, that's good. The teeth...

Now people can comment who they thought was the best. Then we've got the answer. That's okay, right?

"Do you have other channels?"

I suppose this question means YouTube-channels.

I've got two. I've got my big channel and I've got a Vlog-channel.

And what's that called?

-"Sp4zie IRL", which means?

Reality.

In reality.

In... Re... In reality?

-In real life! You almost had it. -In real life! Oh my god.

But you get half of a point for good try.

I've got my YouTube-channel "Athena Afshari".

And then I've got... That's it. And then Instagram.

"Your favorite movie?"

I've got a bunch of them.

-It's like favorite food. You can choose a few. -Yes.

Some movies that you're thinking about right now.

Eh... "Scarface", "Goodfellas", "The Notebook"...

And then I would say "Prince in New York". "Welcome to America".

Or it's called "Coming to America", sorry.

-The problem with me is that I put so much time playing these games. -Yes.

So I miss a lot of series, a lot of movies.

And that's too bad but...

-"Inception" is a good action movie. -Yes, that's good!

-I also watched "Blood diamond" the other day. -That one is really good!

I think I like everything with Leonardo Di Caprio.

I'm a film geek so I love a lot of movies. So it's hard for me to say "This is my favorite movie"...

...because I've got some many different categories. So I can't really make a list.

"What are you doing in your spare time?"

Oh... Do we even have spare time?

Mhm, that's the question.

-No, but I like to hang out with friends, family... -Mhm.

Watch TV-series! I love watching TV-series.

That's my...

My safe place. That's when I turn off everything else and is just focused on that world.

It's hard. My spare time loops into my job because I love playing games in my spare time.

So I do that. I'm hanging out with friends. I'm playing piano.

What else? I'm working out. Going to the gym.

Thanks for watching this episode... You can talk.

Thanks for watching another Q&A-episode.

There will be more. Which means that we need more questions.

-So leave a comment in the comment section. -It could be anything. Keep asking.

And don't forget to subscribe to the channel.

Or to watch our Bucketlist-episodes that airs every Thursday at 3pm.

-Now let's go wave to more boats. -Yes!

-Hi! -Hi!

Total Solar Eclipse 2017 : Are Your Ready? - #SolarEclipse2017 - Duration: 2:46.

You need three things.

The sun

The moon

and the earth.

Wait, something is not right.

The sun is 400 times larger and is 389.1779396462019 times farther than the distance between the

earth and the moon.

Therefore, the sun seems to be as big as the moon.

That's equal to 194 times to the moon and back again.

Or 117,407 times run around the earth.

People in Yaquina Head Lighthouse in Newport, Oregon have the privilege of first dealing

with this phenomenon.

It starts at 8:46 AM Pacific time and the total eclipse there is at 10:18 AM Pacific

time.

People in Charleston have to wait for their turn, the will be able to see this event as

last.

The center line crosses through 12 states and Atlanta is the best location because from

that position the sun is hidden for 97 percent behind the moon.

This will be the first total solar eclipse in the continental U.S. in 38 years.

So make sure to watch and record it.

I will be live streaming this great event over 4 hours.

Tony Robbins: What Is Your Purpose? (Tony Robbins 2017) - Duration: 21:13.

[Applause]

now whatever you wanted to be here's the

question I want to ask you why did you

want to be that in other words what was

the feeling you were hoping to get from

that

what were the sensations what were you

wanting to be and do what we want to be

get from that when I think back on I

think about what I really want to be as

an archaeologist is I wanted to discover

things I mean that was the biggest thing

I want to discover things that had not

been discovered for something new

something unique something different and

I wanted to share that with people I

wanted to be a person who went out

discovered and then shared that

discovery with others and you know it's

interesting I'm doing that today

I'm just not sticking my head in the

sand and doing it I'm doing it by

sticking my head in other people's

brains and find out what makes them tick

and once I know what makes me tick and

then sharing some of that but at that

feeling that same feeling that I wanted

then I found a way to do it today in a

new way and so I challenge you think

about what was it you really wanted from

that didn't think of something else you

wanted to be when you're growing up I

wanted to also be a police artist later

on remember that you know those guys

that draw those pictures you know and

show people and catch the bad guys and

why did I want to do that what I want to

get from that

oh gosh thought about it while I loved I

wanted to create I want to be creative

and and I wanted to help people and I

wanted to help people do the right

things I want to be by the team I want I

catch the bad guys but most importantly

I wanted to create and help people well

guess what I found a way to do that

today different than I originally

thought but the same purpose is there

now maybe it's not the same purpose for

you for all the things you want to do

maybe they have a common thread or maybe

they're different threads that are

important what else did you want to be

when you're going up and why did you

want it what feelings did you hope it

would give you what do you hope would

come from it thanks for a second I'll

give you another one of mine while

you're thinking try and trigger you what

else I want to do well I wanted to

definitely be a rock star I want to be

able to entertain people to change their

emotional states to use my voice in my

face and my body to give people more

passion in their lives and I found

another way to do that plus I get to

work with some of these people the other

day I got a chance to go to the

Aerosmith concert I kind of grew up

listening to those guys and I found out

the Steven Tyler and some of these guys

are fans of mine as well went backstage

and I met Tim Collins who's

managering he told me a phenomenal story

so that years ago in the early 80s when

Aerosmith was in really bad shape the

guys were hooked on heroin and they were

losing everything financially and a

group had broken up but he decided he's

going to turn it around and he read two

books Think and Grow Rich and a little

book called unlimited power and he said

that what he learned there gave him the

inspiration and some of the tools and

strategies to get himself off heroin and

coke and they needed a group

intervention and help the other guys do

the same and these guys are now in a

mission they're totally clean they're

Evian water drinking guys that are out

there sharing their rock and roll and

their message and are doing healthfully

I got a chance to meet Steven Tyler is

just an incredible guy I mean these guys

have been touring for 23 years giving

their all passionately every day they

like their brothers and it was really

interesting cuz he said yeah watch it on

TV all the time I feel like walk on the

same path you know I listen to your

tapes he said we really have the same

mission so you know do you think you'd

get together with and do a gig for us I

said what do you mean he's like you know

the guys on the weekend could you maybe

like do your gig for us so we can all

participate on the weekend but they're

laughing I pinch myself I thought how

cool now I get to do a gig for Aerosmith

I'm not out there rock and rollin but

sort of I am I'm working with the rock

and rollers those fun so my point is

maybe you're not doing what you

originally envisioned but maybe you'll

find a way to do it even better if you

have some faith maybe if you keep

developing yourself and you know at

least the emotion you want the

contribution you want to create you'll

find a better way most importantly

before you can find a way you got to

know the essence of what it is you

really want what is that purpose that's

what I'm really asking you about now

with your eyes closed again think about

a situation in your life when you felt

like you're really on a roll you know

the kind of situation I'm talking about

where you just felt incredibly good at

great feelings where things were just

flowing things were effortless when you

thought yourself wow I love this this is

what life's about I love this is it this

is this is what life is really about

can you remember time like that in your

life at any age young or old well you

really thought like you're in that flow

is like this is it this is what life's

about

think of a situation like that right now

remember that time step back into your

mind back in your body like you were

then and look through your own eyes as

you were then

you felt like this is what life's about

and see what you saw here what you heard

what were you doing what were you

feeling

what would the state you were in what

were you experiencing yeah think about

it and tell me what is it and it was

there anything in common with this with

some of the other things you wanted to

have in your life the feelings you

wanted to have maybe you wanted to grow

or create or contributer discover or

expand or challenge what is it love what

were the feelings what were you doing

and then when you get a sense of what

that was then think about this think of

another situation you lie think of a

second one when you felt like you're on

a roll at some other point in your life

when things were flowing when you felt

this is it this is what life's about I

love this think of another time like

that with step into that situation as

well step into it right now and you step

in that situation look around see what

you saw be and hear what you heard then

feel what you were feeling men what was

happening in that moment not just what

you were doing notice what you were

doing were you creating or writing or

speaking and communicating or or

manufacturing something or studying or

learning and what were you doing but

also how are you feeling what would a

state you're in

and what were you doing for others if

they were involved with other people

involved what was the process what how

are you being and what were you're doing

feel in your body is there anything that

is similar between this and last

experience or anything about this that's

similar between this and the feelings

that you wanted from those things you

wanted to be when you're going to grow

up

that's it notice it and capture not only

the idea this but the feeling as well

now one more time think of something

else another time at any age when you

felt like you're on a major role things

were really flowing we felt incredible

when you felt like I love this this is

what life's really about this is it

think of another situation like that

right now and as you step into that

situation right now notice what were you

doing what were you creating what we

have sharing what were you feeling

feeling these feelings think about the

purpose of your life if you were going

to say it in a simple phrase not even

paragraphs and paragraphs simple phrase

or a sentence or two and you're going to

write down the purpose of my life is to

what if you're going to do it you're

going to have a couple simple criteria

one has got to be stated positive not

the personal life is to stop all the

horrible

in the world no no something positive

something stated in the positive and

info it's going to be something brief

and it was going to be something

emotionally charged in terms of its

words for you it has to have how you're

going to be as a person and what are you

going to do and it's got to include not

just other people like I'm going to

change other people's lives or I'm going

to make the world better for other

people it's gotta you got to be in your

own mission statement you got to be your

own purpose statement you got to be in

there too and other people don't have a

purpose of my life is for me to be happy

because we're all connected so if it's

you and others being and doing brief

ensure what is the purpose of your life

what is it right now what comes out of

your head not the right answer not the

perfect answer just the answer the

purpose your life is to be and do what

for yourself another just say it out

loud just say it don't even write it

down at first and you got pen and paper

then write it down purpose my life is to

what say it again try something keep

changing it and if you write it down

each time it'll give you a better saw it

I'd prefer if you wrote it down but just

come up with something the purpose of my

life for me Tony Robbins is to serve God

and my fellow man by being a powerful

loving passionate outrageous courageous

strong playful crazy example of the

unlimited possibilities that God gives

when you commit your life to service

when you really focus on contribution

that's what my life's about I know what

I feel I can change the word slightly

here and there but I know the essence of

my life and you've got to know what that

is for you that is what will help you to

make the decisions that'll give you the

motivation to get up early and stay up

late that'll make you connect with

people in a way you've never connected

before but you got to know what it is

and it's got to be more than just you

you and others got to be brief it's got

to be emotional got to be intense so go

do it right now turn off the tape and

just start writing like crazy what is

the purpose of your life and when you

write something write another thing

cross it out write another one keep

writing it better and better so you got

something you like them to turn the tape

back on go for it do it now the purpose

of your life is to what

you did turn this thing off didn't you

you're not just sitting there thinking

come on if you write it out it'll be

better with more precision turning off

if you're on your way back and just

ignore the last sentence welcome back

daddy got something you really like I

hope so I know it's not the end-all

be-all and it better not be perfect or

I'm going to come to this tape and grab

you your job is not to be perfect it's

to be excellent perfection can never

really be achieved anyway if you're

truly a perfectionist then it's never

perfect but it's getting better all the

time so what is the purpose of your life

and how does it feel and you think about

this is the purpose of my life and only

give you one other criteria did you

write it so you can only achieve it once

you die if so change it from K so we

don't want you have to die to achieve

your purpose which is what some people

have it should be something you can

experience every day know whatever you

do whether you're just sitting at the

lunch counter you're walking through a

grocery store you're going and

conducting your business I don't care

what it is it should be something you

can feel and you got to find what that

is for you and I had a language that at

least for now so you know the goal of

the game with that your life takes on a

whole nother dimension so as you go out

over the next month try something take

this purpose statement and keep in front

of you put it in the system use for

managing your time and keeping your

to-do list put it up on the wall nearby

and as you look at it each day don't

just write it and forget about it

think about each day how can I live my

purpose more when you go to make a

decision about doing something and

you're not sure why you're doing it you

can always go back to your purpose you

can do it going into a meeting and

already going to meeting around going

the media I'm going to be powerful

loving passion outrageous platform and

inspire people to see what's possible if

we really serve all the people around us

that's not how to figure out you have a

guiding principle no matter what happens

principles don't change the essence of

who you are will not change the

environment may change the vehicles may

change but what's inside of you won't

let me say one final thing to you before

Sims you often have you take some more

time to work on your mission statement

one is if you want to send me your

mission statement the Robbins research

I'd love to receive it I'd love to see

how you've language the purpose of your

life so if you feel like doing that

please do and address it to me

personally the other thing is this I

want you to realize that very often not

getting your dream gives you your

destiny

what I mean by that is this so often as

I said when we started this tape people

set up a goal or a demon they don't get

it and then he feels so disappointed so

frustrated sometimes resentful towards

others or to their creator or towards

themselves or not accomplishing or

achieving it but the truth of the matter

is whenever something happens you must

find an empowering meaning you must ask

yourself how can I use this if this was

to serve a higher purpose in my life

how would I use it to serve a higher

purpose if this was going to make me

into somebody more how would I use it to

make me more and very often in life if

you really look back on your life the

worst situations in your life have been

the best if you were willing to trust

that it happened for a reason that

somehow even though this is painful

you'd never want it to happen again

somehow this is going to serve you maybe

you were hurt by someone or some

situation but because of that your kids

will never be hurt the same way you did

when you were a child or maybe you went

through some tough time but because of

that you help somebody else so they

won't have to go through the same pain

you did maybe the pain made you make a

new decision is saying you're in a brand

new direction that brought you to this

destiny I really truly believe in my

heart of hearts that if were willing to

trust and have faith and look for

answers and actively pursue them that

every human experience supports us even

those that are painful and I believe we

can probably do them without the pain

but the pain does strike or something

happens outside your control which it

will instead of living in fear that that

will happen someday you want to live in

a sense of certainty that says no matter

what happens I will benefit from it

because I will look for benefits and

therefore I will find them it's that

simple

I'll give you a good metaphor you know

there's a great movie I'm sure you

recall was called Field of Dreams in it

they said if you build it they will come

in the movie Kevin Costner seeks out an

old man by the name of dark grim he's

played by Burt Lancaster and when he

first meets this man he's going to see

him to tell him about a field of dreams

that Kevin has developed a place where

these old men could come back and play

again to be young again to live their

dream till he meets doc Graham he starts

to talk to him he says I understand that

you only were able to play one inning in

your life because doc Graham said well

yeah my whole life's dream was always to

play baseball to be a professional he

said every single

they I gave my all I lived this passion

he said you know I took ground balls and

batting practice and I push myself and

he said finally I made it I made it to

the big leagues and the whole season

went by without my being able to play

and finally at the end of the season in

the eighth inning the coach looked over

at me and said kid I want you in right

field he said I was so happy I couldn't

believe it I ran out on the field and he

said I stood help there in right field

waiting for somebody hit it to me

waiting for my chance and nothing

happened then when we came back in he

said my turn to bat never came and the

next year they without giving me another

chance or even getting me a chance they

sent me back to the minor leagues and he

said I couldn't I just couldn't take it

I couldn't take going through that again

so I quit and kevin costner said oh my

god that's unbelievable

what incredible pain what devastation

that must have destroyed you I mean for

any man to be that close to a dream and

have your dream passed you by as if it

doesn't even know it's you he said that

that must have been the most destructive

painful thing that that that's a total

disaster and when my gram said no son he

said playing baseball for only five

minutes was not a disaster playing

baseball for only five minutes was not

devastating what would have been a

disaster what would have been

devastating is if I'd only been a doctor

for five minutes

you see if I would hit that baseball

that may have been the bigger disaster

because then I never would have come to

this little town I never would have

saved this man's life or delivered that

little girl or got to know the people

that now my best friend's in the world

he said that would have been a disaster

in other words sometimes not getting

your dream gives you what you really

want what you really need what you're

really destined for and if that part of

the movie didn't give it to you they

followed up with another scene finally

there's a chance you know Kevin Costner

makes arrangements and he said listen

there's this field of dreams you can

come on it you can be young

and you can live your dream still they

brings moonlight Graham to the field

with all the other players and when he

steps out on the field he's young again

and he's wearing his uniform and he can

feel the warm sunshine on his body again

and these youthful muscles and the smell

of fresh-cut grass and the baseball in

his hand and finally beginning to play

and just as moonlight Graham is finally

stepping in the batter's box finally

he's going to get a chance to get that

hit in life in professional baseball his

dream right at that moment there's a

scream in the stands because Kevin

Costner and his brother having a

conversation his brother doesn't see

these players on the field he doesn't

have a face to experience the beauty and

the joy and the fun and what's right

there in front of him you can't see it

because of his lack of faith and as

they're arguing about this

he accidentally turns and knocks Kevin

Costner's daughter off the top of the

stands she falls and hits her head and

she starts turning blue and so all of a

sudden they start yelling oh my god oh

my god what we can do we got a sabre

she's dying she's dying and the whole

sudden Costner sisters out there we need

a doctor we need a doctor and just as he

hears those words move my grandma's

about to swing the bat he says I'm a

doctor he starts running full blast to

help this child but all of a sudden he

stops and he looks down and there in

front of him is the foul line the foul

line that divides the field of dreams

from the other world and he knows if he

crosses it he can never go back he can

never live his dream he doesn't hesitate

anymore

he immediately steps across and he saved

the child's life he loses his dream but

he lives his destiny the moral is very

simple inside each one of us there are

desires that we have for our personality

those things that we want to avoid pain

and want to gain pleasure for but there

are also moral needs though those needs

inside of us to go beyond ourselves to

something greater to something more to

give of ourselves in a way that maybe

we've never given before maybe a way

there won't even be acknowledged

but we'll give us the greatest sense of

a film we've ever dreamed of in our

lives I say to you that if what you've

tried so far hasn't worked all it is is

preparing you for more but don't wait

for the ultimate day when you save a

life start saving a life today by

enjoying the one you have start saving a

life today by touching the people around

you you know do what Cecil did be a

person that loves people animals beings

be a person when things don't go on you

well plant twice as much be a person who

gives more than anybody else gives and

you'll be living your purpose no matter

how you language it hold yourself to a

higher standard and someday you'll see

something more dramatic but along the

way you'll enjoy the joy of knowing that

you're living your life's purpose today

isn't that what life's really about not

waiting until some day living it today

hey I want to thank you for spending

this time with me I am so grateful to

God to have the opportunity to connect

with you as if we've been friends for

years and we've not even met but I hope

in this time together that you've found

some some strategies some tools and

maybe found a piece of yourself I minded

yourself with the truth of how unique

and special you are not an egotistical

way but everyone is everyone is unique

and special in some way I do think less

of yourself is to slap the face of your

Creator you've been giving gifts and

it's time to make them real and getting

the edge has been about sharing with you

some of those tools and the most

important ones are taking that time for

yourself please do that for yourself

consistently if you did nothing else out

of this but that I promise you you'll

see your future unfold and you'll hear

the whispers of destiny

you'll hear the guidance that's within

you but you got to take time to be alone

and do that if you do it every day

you'll see a change if you go through

that results workshop and just change

anything you're not want to settle for

any more and be honest with yourself if

you take and make those relationships

magnificent and not settle in this area

either oh my god everything life changes

when you've got someone to share with it

you'll love everyone you've ever been a

relationship with is a bonus to you

it's one of God's great gifts but if you

can find that soulmate you got

everything and I have to say that for me

finding my soulmate finding my wife's

age was the richest day of my life and

every day as Richard because of it I

hope for you my prayer for you as you

find someone like that that you have

that kind of love for and they have that

kind of love for you or if they're there

that you treasure them and you find a

way to make that juicier every single

day if you do that on top of it you

energize and alkalis and get that

vitality in your body can master your

finances turn your emotions into your

friend and you find your purpose then

the life you create will be so much

greater than your dreams your old dreams

will seem like cartoons by comparison to

the life you're living and if you're

able to make those kinds of changes

you'll be able to stand proud knowing

you're the one that did it but also I

have a special prize knowing that maybe

I helped in some little way to guide you

deeper into connecting with yourself

because the ultimate edge is connection

with yourself with your Creator with

your friends with your family with life

itself and if you do that

then these seven sessions were certainly

well worth both that time so I wish you

well my friend then for now I saved so

long but I hope I'll see you sometime

soon and you'll share with me the story

of your success and what you've done

please email me write me or come see me

in a seminar I'd love to meet you

personally but until then make sure that

every day is lived to the fullest don't

settle for less than you can be you want

a few do verses the men you talk and be

sure to live with passion

Why Don't We Just Put Solar Panels In Space? - Duration: 3:36.

Hey there and welcome to Life Noggin.

By now, you've probably all seen solar panels gracing the rooftops of nearby homes.

These clean energy alternatives convert sunlight into electricity that can be used to power

your electronics.

However, hindrances like the atmosphere and nighttime has led many people to ask the question:

"What if we put solar panels in space?"

But before we get into that, let's briefly talk about solar panels in general.

Simply put, they consist of multiple photovoltaic cells that are usually made of silicon.

And when photons of light strike these cells, they can give some electrons enough energy

to escape from the silicon atom.

From here, due to the clever design of the cell, these loose electrons can flow in the

same direction, giving us an electric current -- and conveniently giving me life.

Nowadays, many photovoltaic cells are able to absorb a range of wavelengths, from the

blue to near infrared.

But some of the lower energy infrared photons aren't able to knock any electrons out,

so a good portion of the Sun's radiation can't be harnessed by silicon-based photovoltaic

cells.

And on top of that, some of the incoming radiation from the Sun is reflected back into space

by the clouds, atmospheric particles, or bright surfaces on the ground.

And even more is absorbed in the atmosphere by things like water vapor and ozone.

So, since we want these panels to make use of as much of the Sun's radiation as possible

and the atmosphere is preventing that from happening, why not just put the panels somewhere

without an atmosphere?

Somewhere like space!

Specifically, in a geosynchronous orbit about 35,000 kilometers above the Earth where its

orbital period matches Earth's rotational period.

And the solar satellites that may potentially go here are pretty wacky looking.

For example, this is SPS-Alpha, which consists of a bell-shaped arrangement of mirrors that

reflects the sunlight onto the photovoltaic cells.

And /this/ is a design by researchers at JAXA, the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency, which

also uses mirrors.

And for both of these designs, the photons have to get converted to electricity by the

cells, and then the electricity would be converted into microwaves, which would get beamed down

to some receivers on Earth, and then it would get converted /back/ to electricity.

That's a lot of conversions, which aren't 100% efficient.

So, even though the solar panels would be able to access some more of the Sun's radiation,

the extra conversions can lessen the benefit.

And that's not even to mention the cost of developing, building, and sending these

satellites into space!

Some estimate that this could cost /billions/ of dollars.

That said, if launch costs could come down and if inexpensive solar panels could utilize

more of the Sun's radiation, space-based solar panels may one day be financially plausible.

But for now, it might be a better bet to just place more solar panels on the ground and

improve on them instead.

But what do you think?

Are solar panels in space a good idea to you?

Let me know in the comments below.

As always, I'm Blocko and this has been Life Noggin.

Don't forget to keep on thinking!

Living In The Jungle ♥ Boho Diaries | Ep.14 Cambodia - Duration: 15:14.

every single one of us can do something good for this world

you can do little tiny acts of

kindness

and that can be your way of contributing

to bring more love and positivity

and compassion into this world

thats beautiful

that is such a beautiful yawn

this the girl that just got out of a jungle

so yes we just

came from the

jungle

so we just arrived in siem reap

i feel like we've been in the jungle

forever

we look like we lived in the jungle

we just got back from the cambodia wildlife sanctuary

which is about an hour and half

no 2 hr

ride in the back of a truck

to siem reap

which was exceptionally windy

amazing

at the same time

we had a really incredible and inspiring

last week and a half

its marks birthday

every year

its a ritual

for us to find a waterfall

celebrate his birthday

look where we are

cambodia has no rules

you can literally sit by the craziest waterfall

be inches away from your own death

they don't care

i guess it started with us first going to

elephant nature park

in chiang mai

and we got the pleasure to spend a couple of days there

and just experience

this incredible

facility

its so inspiring guys

i don't even know where to begin

its just beautiful

you feel the love in that place

its so incredible

and they're all so wonderful

and derrick was like ok well

why don't you guys go check out our other facility

so we went over to Cambodia Wildlife Sanctuary

let the sleeping cows lie

so i grew a moustache

where did that come from?

we have found

we have found a restaurant that serves vegan food

which is rad

its in sinoukville

which isn't our favourite place

were staying in Otres

which is just 25 min away on our mopped

so everytime we want to grab food here its like a 25 min ride

and we come once a day

its a mint banana

pinnaple smoothie

its looks like theres some kind of piece of aloe

i got the same

we just ordered a feast

were going to take left overs home

mark got a lentil burger

heres marks lentil burger

this is the most american meal

I've eaten in about 5 months

its a burger

we got this place to share

of hummus and falafel balls

its actually really good

the best balls I've ever put in my mouth

and i got myself some vegan tacos

so here are my tacos

which mark is going to be helping me with

cause theres a lot

were going to feast our bellies

being vegan is awesome

so we are in a tiny

little beach community

its called otres 1

as apposed to ores 1

part of sinouchville area

just the coast of cambodia

its got character

its raw super raw

but theres something really cool about that

the dogs make me really sad

we were talking about it earlier

on this planet we can barely take care of ourselves

as humans

i mean one thing

thats become def

prevelant

about humanity

is that the vast majority

of this planet lives in squaller

in really horrible conditions

and then somewhere along the lines we

domesticated dogs

we decided they would make great pets

through years and years of

cycling and breeding

got them to a point

where they can live with us

and we have to take care of them

because they're domesticated

and then we abandoned them

turned our back not them

now everywhere you go

its just 100's of 1000's

if not millions of stays dogs

and its not just cambodia

i feel like cambodia may have a little more

sadder dogs

i guess

but its everywhere all over the place

thailand

ukraine

you go anywhere

there's 100's 100's

of star animals

ont he streets

surviving everyday

and its really sad

and think about north america

we don't see them on the streets but there are thousands

sitting in shelters

and shelters can only hold so many dogs

so they're forced to euthanize perfectly healthy dogs

because they just don't have enough room

so if everybody became aware

of the fact that there are so many animals

in need of home in need of love

and if you feel like you're

at a point in your life where you can

give that love to an animal

go out there and save an animal

from shelter a rescue

from the streets

save a life

you would change the entire world

for that animal

and its special

and it think if everybody stopped

supporting breeders

and their businesses

they would have to find another way to put food on their table

things like breeding farms wouldnt exist

adopt dont shop

and spay and neauture your pets

thanks bob barker

cambodia wildlife sanctuary

is one of the projects with Save Elephant Foundation

we've been involved here since

2010

my name is Holly

i am a medic

i do vet care

and right now one of my main jobs

is to help care

these two orphaned macaques

the project spans about 20

25000 acres

of natural Cambodian

jungle

our job here is to

look after that jungle

looks after the trees

to protect from illegal logging

and protect from poachers

i came to Cambodia in

2012

and my main role here

to take care of the animals

we have about 16 monkeys

our aim is to rehabilitate them

and eventually release them back

to the wild

our goal will be

to let them be free

in the forrest

were on top of the platform

we have a number of rescued elephants from the logging trade

we have 15 different

maquacs

we have a rescued gibbon

were currently in the process of building

3500 acre pareimeter fence

so that they can have a forested inclosre

we have a few domestic rabbits

we have a

an emputed cat

thast here on the property

about 7 dogs

we care for those animals

the ones that we can release

back into the jungle

we will release back into our 25000 acre wild land

this is a new female orphaned macquac

that arrived yesterday

she was literally handed over

to another staff

she was taken in from one of the villages

suspect her mother was poached

same with this little guy

hes about 1 month older then she is

if this place wasn't here there would be no forrest

left from siem reap

to the thai border

its been all cleared

its really important that we protect

this forrests

and their wildlife

for future generations

really important

theres this feeling of indpiration

we got t meet such incredible people

that are truly giving

their hearts and souls

into a good cause

it inspires us to continue

to do more

to bring more awareness

to good people doing good things

to good places

offering good things

to the world

and were going to do the best we can

to continue

to offer as mucha s we can to the animals

and to the people

and to the facilities

that do this

we may not be able to save all the animals

but for those animals that you

touch and save

you save their world

its hard question

I'm getting choked up

its a hard uestion

i do what i do to help

whatever i can

give whatever animals i can the help they need

whatever i can do

thats the magic of life

whether thats to yoruself

or into the cause

every little bit collectively grows

and you can change the world

just like you can change yourself

its a matter of what you're willing to put your energy into

its all that matters

my previous roles as an engineer

involved in jobs like mining

where i always felt like i was taking something

out of environment

so coming here has given me

an opportunity to give back

help the environment

help the forecast and the animals

that are being striped

by companies all across the world

from meeting these people has just given us more fuel

to keep going

its really just a matter of

taking the energy we se them spending

what can we do here

the same way we hope you

maybe someone out there

will take our energy and ask themselves that

thats all we can do

hope that good things will recache somewhere in the universe

and cause more good

well were leaving the sanctuary

as always were sad to say goodbye

were currently in the back of a truck

where we belong

free and in the breeze

What turned up? What is this?

I found this bag with him

Wait, I will check this out

It's drugs or the guy is selling dandruff

He goes in handcuffs this time

Shit...

No fucking way, Tomek, give me the handcuffs

I'm not going to play SM with you

Do you have it? Well you bet I do

I got a feeling it's going to be great

Ready? Ready

Hitman, Hitman, it's Assasis...

Assassis...

Can you hear them? No

Correct me if I get that, in five minutes?

No shit, we're alone

Ok, we're waiting for your signal

I have their frequence

They are listening to us

This is bullshit, they can't be five minutes from here

and coming with the car

We will see if this is bullshit

So what, they will come and say "Get comfy inside?"

Just checking

We're getting shot at

Duck down!

Oh shit, my SAW is down

Wait, let's open it

Hey, get the fuck out of the trunk with this piggy

C'mon... I have a problem

My SAW is down

Michał

Give me the gun

Do you have mags and BB's?

Yes I have

Single shots only Roger that

I saw one guy running

He is somewhere in front of you

Roger that, thanks

He's HIT Ok

So I have a frag

Do you have a medic?

Ok, you will go from here

And we will join you

Ok, let them scan the place and go back to the road

Cyju

Krzysiek, check the hill if there's anything going on there

We're going back to the road

Hey, get in here

Hitman to all, Hitman to all, let's pour all the smoke and frags on them

Right on the path

Let's approach

I got HIT with the ricochette

It doesn't count

Ok guys, come on!

Do not stop!

I'm HIT, shit...

Do you have any smoke grenade?

Where is your bandage?

Where is your bandage? Here, in the grenade pouch

Got any smokes?

I'm ready

Smoke grenade on the path!

Wait, I have a smoke grenade too

Thanks

Are they just wounded or?...

We have to provide their wounds

Approach then

We don't have any smoke, only the frags

I have a smoke and a frag as well

Throw the smoke

Where should I throw it?

Right side of the bridge I would throw it across the river

If you could make it

Guys, if you give me cover, I will get him

Let us wait for the smoke

One moment. Commander?

What's your decision? Do it

Throw it?

Up your's!

Watch out

But there is smoke!

There is a smoke, it's a success!

C'mon people!

I'm HIT!

Oh, I just dropped the grenade

I dropped the frag grenade just in case

There was less water last year

Yes, I think so

Can we go now?

I was about to ask the same thing

Fuck me...

Ok, come on Herod, let's get in the car and split

Ok, I will fine, I'm not that fat

Who am I kidding?
