Parental Perks - VEDA 2017 [CC] - Duration: 3:27.

Hi, YouTube. It's Kathy.

This is not my normal place, and the sound in here is very echo-y.

That's weird to find out.

Hi!

I know I just got back from my trip to Oregon-

[music]

-but now I've gone on another trip, going

North instead of South this time, for a friend's wedding.

Which means I'm staying at my parents' house.

However, they are out for the evening, so it's like I get to have a party in their house.

And by a party, I mean an introvert party, where I just use all their cool stuff.

So that's what I'm gonna do.

The thing is, I obviously grew up here, but I moved out a really long time ago, 'cause

I'm much older than I look, so there are lots of changes.

I have the option of using this big tv, or I could use this big tv.

It's weird that I'm watching myself on a big tv in your house.

And if I didn't want to use a big tv, I could use this regular sized one.

Even the kitchen here is super friggin' swanky.

Which, you might have seen in some of my old videos of being home and visiting.

Dishwasher!?

Whoooa!

A garbage can that opens when you hover over it - whaaat?

A microwave?

I definitely don't have one of those.

This stove is all button operated and it - it's weird, guys.

And if it wasn't for the fact that I am not drinking in 2017, this would be all mine.

Even this toaster seems like it should be in a space ship.

And the moment you've all been waiting for - my childhood bedroom.

It's a sewing room.

This machine is much fancier than the one she used to have.

I didn't know she got a new one. Awesome!

This closet is bigger than my bathroom.

I'd consider barbecuing something but it's been so long since I've done something like

that that I would probably set things on fire.

A really big change from going from living in a small town in my youth to going to live

in a city is I don't really have a lawn anymore, or, like, a lot of green space at my house,

but here I have a front lawn- -and I have a back yard to play in.

Mostly for reading, let's be honest.

I would just read here.

Maybe frolic a little.

[music]

In fact, I think I will use this toy, too.

[music]

And, of course, a trip to Mom and Dad's is

never complete without basking in their glorious hot tub.

Ahhhh! [pop can opens]

And it's not a fully entitled moment until you get a selfie.

[click]

What about you?

If you've moved away from home, are there any perks you enjoy when you go home?

Let me know about them down in the comments below and I will see you tomorrow. Bye!

Charming Chittagong । Adventure at Foy's Lake । রোমাঞ্চকর ফয়'স লেক - Duration: 11:25.

Adventure Land. Lets see what kind of adventures available here?

Various elements of adventure appear here.

It is called Circus Swing. Perhaps it's a kind of swing when you get into it.

Looks like a huge oasis in front of us. After watching this, I remember London's London Eye.

It is so huge that when it gets up above the top of the rock, it can be seen from the entire London city.

I think, a large part of Chittagong City or this Adventure Land will be seen from here.

It's Apollo Flight. It seems to me that a kind of asteroid concept has been taken here.

This place is just like any other adventure park like Dhaka and other places where

all people walks around including children andchildren can travel around.

However, this place has a different beauty due to elevated or mountainous landscape.

We have seen a little part of the adventure land that we entered.

a little more upstairs to go. This is a hilly area. We need to go up more

Here it is written that, 'Come to the observation tower & enjoy the beauty of the city of Chittagong with the binocular.

That means we are at Chittagong.

Going to the observation tower. We hope that we can enjoy

the beauty of the city of Chittagong by telescoping from there.

Quite a bit upside. Looks like I'm going to sweat now.

As the adventure is to be completed, a little sweat is no problem. .

This wall is made with cement. It seems that the authority has tried to give it a hilly terrain look.

Hills, plants - very nice place.

I got a lot upstairs. There is another staircase on the side.

We want to go to the end.

This place, which is called adventure land .. There are asiatic bears, lions and lions are here.

Uffs.. great oyster snake.

Making custom PSU/multimeter cables - Why and how? - 2 minute tutorial! - Duration: 2:26.

Hello, Code and Solder here, today I'll show you how and why to make your own cables

for all kinds of electronic equipment.

This story started when doing some testing for the next video.

As it turned out the leads that I got with my power supply had a voltage drop of a third

of a volt at one ampere.

A quick measurement with a mulitmeter confirmed my suspicions.

It was time to replace them.

What we will need are: high quality 4mm bullet connectors.

Crocodile clips.

And finally two meters of good 16 gauge silicone wire.

When buying in bulk the total price is under two dollars.

Referral links to all the products used are in the description.

The tools we'll use are flush cutters, a wire stripper, a crimping tool or a pair of

pliers, any soldering iron and something to hold the components.

The first step is to measure and cut an appropriate amount of the silicone wire.

Here I will use the same length as the original cables for comparison.

Next step is to remove insulation from the last couple of millimetres on each end.

Now we tin them, I personally prefer using leaded solder.

With the ends tinned we add some solder to the inside of the bullet connectors and connect

one end of each wire.

Excess can be normally removed with solder wick.

Now we need to put the crocodile clip covers on each cable.

While usually it would be beneficial to put the wire through the hole in the clip this

one is too thick for it, thus we have to tin the inside of the connector, as shown.

With that done we can solder in the other ends of the wires and crimp them to create

a good electrical and mechanical connection.

The last step is to cover the bullet connectors with shrink tubing.

This provides both better aesthetics and some mechanical reinforcement to the joint.

After shrinking it we are ready for the test.

Let's replace the old wires and check the voltage.

As we can see it has improved over ten times.

The new cables are also much less stiff.

A quick measurement with a multimeter confirms our vastly improved resistance.

Making them yourself also has the advantage of enabling you to create any combination

of connectors, like those crocodile to goldpin and tinned cable for our next video.

Thanks for watching, hope you enjoyed.

If you have any suggestions please post them in the comments below.

The Real Truth Of Led Zeppelin No One's Ever Told - Duration: 4:30.

As one of the greatest rock and roll bands of all time, Led Zeppelin's history has been

well documented.

You might think you know everything about the 70's rock gods, but there's still a couple of things out there that will surprise you

What Is and What Should Never Be

It's hard to imagine Led Zeppelin being fronted by anyone other than Robert Plant.

But had Jimmy Page's first choice for Led Zeppelin's lead singer worked out, the history

of rock music would be drastically different.

Singer Terry "Superlungs" Reid was one of Page's first choices to front his band, which

was then called The New Yardbirds.

But Reid had already signed with high-profile producer Mickie Most.

The sweet-voiced rock prodigy had to turn down Page's offer, but suggested the guitarist

take a look at Robert Plant, who he described as a "Greek god."

Page obviously liked what he saw in Plant, who brought along his buddy John Bonham to

play the drums, and the rest is rock 'n' roll history.

Reid's career certainly wasn't a failure, but turning down Page's offer to front Led

Zeppelin was the biggest mistake of anyone's career, ever.

Reid wasn't the only one to be offered the gig.

Page also considered Steve Marriott, singer for British rock band the Small Faces.

So, why didn't it happen?

Marriott's manager was Don Arden, Sharon Osbourne's terrifying father, and a guy who called himself

the "Al Capone of Pop."

"Don Arden!

Dun dun DUNNN!"

Page received a message from Arden saying, "How would you like to play guitar with broken

fingers?"

The violent rejection took the wind out of Page's sails, everybody went back to their

respective bands, and no fingers were broken.

The Nobs

Led Zeppelin and The New Yardbirds weren't the only names that Zep have used on stage.

Once, the band played a show in Copenhagen as "The Nobs."

Why the name change?

The name was Led Zeppelin's response to Eva von Zeppelin, the granddaughter of Ferdinand

von Zeppelin, founder of the Zeppelin airship company, who had threatened legal action if

they ever performed as "Led Zeppelin" in Denmark.

In response, Page decided the band would change its name to "The Nobs" for its show in Copenhagen,

calling the whole ordeal "absurd."

The group even tried to pacify the outraged noblewoman in person.

Page recalled,

"The first time we played we invited her backstage to meet us, to see how we were nice young

lads.

We calmed her down but on leaving the studio, she saw our LP cover of an airship in flames

and she exploded!

I had to run and hide.

She just blew her top."

Oh, the humanity.

Good Times Bad Times

Led Zeppelin wasn't always the well-loved band it is today.

Early on, some very influential critics saw the future rock icons as nothing but loud,

unoriginal, overtly sexual, bombastic blowhards.

In particular, Rolling Stone absolutely despised them, calling their debut album "weak" and

"unimaginative", saying that Robert Plant's vocals "prissy", and concluding that Led Zeppelin

wasn't nearly as good as Cream, which had just broken up.

Criticism got so bad that Zep intentionally named the fourth album nothing at all, provided

no band info, no photos of the group, and gave no interviews to promote it.

They also made it one of the greatest albums of all time, which probably helped ward off

the critics for good.

Jimmy Page wanted to cure cancer

Jimmy Page always exhibited a God-given talent on the six-string, but playing guitar in the

world's greatest rock 'n' roll band wasn't his original goal.

In April 1958, a 14-year-old Page appeared on BBC's television show All Your Own, where

the prodigy demonstrated his guitar prowess in a group of skiffle musicians.

After the performance, the host asked Page about his future aspirations.

"What do you want to do when you leave school?

take up skiffle?

"No, I want to do biological research."

In an interview with ITV five years later, a 19-year-old Page spoke of different professional

goals, telling the interviewer he hoped to become an accomplished artist...which seems

to have worked out.

Houses of the unholy

While not a master of the actual dark arts, Jimmy Page was certainly interested in them,

enough to buy what some might call the most evil house in England.

That would be Aleister Crowley's Boleskine House, which the occultist-magician bought

in 1899.

Page bought the house in the 1970s, and though he never really lived there, he visited enough

to be permanently tied to it in the public eye, being filmed in and around the house

with glowing red eyes in the Zeppelin concert film The Song Remains The Same.

Legend maintains that Crowley was called away in the middle of a ritual that had summoned

demons to the residence, and he just never cleaned the place up.

The person who actually lived there, Page's childhood friend Malcolm Dent, stayed there

for 20 years before Page sold the place.

As he told the Inverness Courier in a 2006 interview,

"Doors would be slamming all night; you'd go into a room and carpets and rugs would

be piled up."

Even though he's a self-described skeptic, Dent couldn't explain why any of this was

happening.

Still, it's kinda surprising he never called anyone about it.

"We're ready to believe you!"

Why Video Content Impacts Business - Duration: 0:43.

Every entrepreneur needs to be doing a live video show every single week for

their audience. Why? Because it is this is a breakthrough moment in history that

for free we're allowed to be directly in touch with our own television show, to

our prospects, to the people that like our business pages that want to hear

from us because they want to learn about the topics that we talk about or teach

on. And if you're wasting that opportunity, or if you're doing that but

you're not doing it to the fullest capacity, you're not working at it every

single week to get better and to improve so that you're actually generating sales

from it..... you're totally missing out on this very small moment in history where

it's still new enough that it's opportune.

Hip Tendonitis Stretches & Exercises - Ask Doctor Jo - Duration: 12:03.

Hey everybody it's Doctor Jo, and today I'm going to show you some stretches and

exercises for hip tendonitis. So hip tendonitis is a general term, there's a

whole bunch of tendons around your hip, so this is just a kind of general

stretches and exercises for all of them, so let's get started.

So the first stretch is gonna be a hip flexor stretch when you

get up in the lunge position. This is usually the best way to stretch the hip

flexors, make sure you grab a pillow to put under your knee, especially if you're

on a very hard surface cause that'll just protect that knee a little bit. So you

want the knee down of the side that you want to stretch, put the other foot out a

little bit to give you room to kind of lean forward, you want to keep your upper

bodder, upper bodder, upper bodder, upper BODY nice and straight. Lean forward to get

the stretch, so if you're if you're bending forward with your upper body,

you're not really stretching that hip flexor, so keep this upright and push

forward leaning forward, and then you're gonna get a stretch right through there.

So since this is a stretch, you want to hold it for about thirty seconds and

then come back up, so again keeping that body nice and upright and pushing

forward, holding for thirty seconds doing that three times. If you got a lot going

on with your hips, you probably want to stretch both sides, but if you're in a

hurry, just stretch the side that hurts the most. The next one is going to be a

quad stretch, so there's a bunch of different ways to stretch the quad as

well, but you can do it in the same position here by just taking your foot

and then pulling it upwards, so some people that they're really tight in that

quad it's going to be hard to grab like this, so you can take a little belt or

something and pull it up, but if you have a little more flexibility just kind of

bend down grab that ankle, and pull it up this

way. So again being upright really helps with

the stretch. If I'm coming down, I'm not getting the stretch because I'm bending

here, so make sure you keep that body upright, and then pull that heel towards

your bottom, whew, and don't fall off balance, so again holding that for 30

seconds, relaxing a little bit, and doing that three times. The next stretch is a

figure four stretch, this is for your glutes and your piriformis muscles, so

you'll feel the stretch right underneath there. Take the side that you want to

stretch, and cross it over where your ankle is just above your knee. Then bring

your foot up until it feels nice and tight, and if you want a little bit more

of a stretch, take your upper body and lean it forward, but try to try and keep

your back straight, so you're not curling up, but you're keeping your back straight,

and then just leaning forward, so holding that stretch for about thirty seconds,

you should feel it right through there in that piriformis, kind of glute

area. Relax it a little bit, and then do that three times, so keeping that upper

body straight and bending forward at the hips. Then the next stretch is going to

be for the IT band. There's a lot of ways to stretch your IT band I'm just going

to show you with a strap because that's usually the easiest one, you can use a

strap, you can use a belt, you can use a beach towel or even a dog leash if you have one, so

you want to put the loop around the side that you want to stretch, and then just

lie down and get comfortable. Pull your leg up, you don't have to go till it gets

tight, just bring it up not quite to 90, and then drop it over, so you're just

bringing it across your body and you should feel the stretch along the

outside of your leg there through that whole IT band there. Some people feel

it more of their hips, some people feel it more at their knee, it really just

depends on where they're tight because that IT Band starts all the way up

at the top of the hip and then goes down past the knee, so again holding that for

30 seconds, come back up, relax it for a little bit, and then do that three times.

So pulling up and then across your body, but try and keep your upper body flat

down so you're not bringing your whole body over, that the hips are mainly

staying down and that leg is coming across your body. So now we're going to

go into some exercises. Once you get everything nice and stretched out, then

you want to strengthen those muscles in that stretched out position, so the first

one's going to be a simple straight leg raise. I like having the other leg bent

up because it just takes some pressure off your back, some people like to keep

it straight, that's fine if that's comfortable for you, but this is the most

comfortable way for me, and I like that it gives you a little bit of a target.

The leg that you want to exercise is going to be straight out, pull up your

toes because that's going to help lock out your leg and keep everything nice

and muscles contracted, and then just slowly bring it up about even to the

other side. So that's why I like that one bent, you have a little target because you

don't want to kick it up super high because that's then just using momentum

to get the leg up, and then slowly coming back down, so that slow controlled

movement is what's important. If you're going fast, you're just using momentum

and you're not really using those muscles, so just starting off with about

ten of these, then you can do two sets of ten, three sets of ten, two sets of 15, if

you get to 20-25 and they're super easy, then you can add a little ankle weight

on to it. The next one is going to be in side lying, and it's going to be hip

abduction A B, so this time the leg that you want to exercise is going to be up

on top, you can bend the bottom leg just to kind of give you some support, you can

lay all the way down, you don't have to prop up on your elbow, it's just easier

for me to talk this way, but you want your whole body to be in a straight line.

So it's not kind of "C"ed forward, sometimes people make a little C curve,

but then you're not really working those muscles that you want to work, so keep

that leg nice and straight, pull up those toes,

and as you lift your leg, you want to lead with your heel and go backwards

just a little bit with that leg to help keep that whole body straight, so you're

going back this way, and again if you want to lie all the way down for comfort,

that's fine, but make sure that heel goes first and it goes slightly back, so you

should really feel it working kind of in this area right here, and so again

starting off with ten fifteen of these, and then working up your sets and your

reps, and if you get twenty - twenty five and that's easy, then you can add a

little ankle weight. Then you're going to roll over onto your stomach and do prone

extension, so same kind of concept about keeping that leg nice and straight, if

you pull your toes up that kind of helps lock everything out. You can lie all the

way down, so you don't irritate your back or irritate your neck, but when you're on

your stomach, your leg's not going to go super high, so don't feel like you have

to go high because a lot of times then people want to roll their body as they

come up, but you really want to keep those hips down on the ground, so if you

want to put your forehead on your pillow like this so you don't stress out your

neck ,that's fine, or some people just kind of like to be propped up like this,

but just a little kick up. Again as you can see, it's not super high, it doesn't

have to be really high, try and keep that leg as straight as you can. If the knee

bends a little bit, that's okay mine might Bend just a little bit, but

again just starting off with ten fifteen and then working your way up from there.

So normally you just keep turning in each direction to get the same leg, I'm

just going to stay this way so you can see what I'm doing, but now you're gonna

do hip adduction, A D deduction, so that's the inner leg for this one. The top leg

can either be propped up in the back or it can be propped up in the front, it's

really just whatever your comfort level is. Some people like it in the back like

this, some people like it in the front like this, so I'm just gonna go in the

back so you can kind of see what my leg is doing, but the same kind of concept

where you want that leg to be pretty straight it's not coming up forward like

this, it's really just coming straight up, so again it's not going to

be a big movement, this isn't a big movement, just because of the position

that you're in, but keeping those toes pulled up tight to keep that leg

straight and then just bringing it off the ground and really controlling it

back down. So pretty simple just keep working your way around rolling to each

side and getting that worked out so that's that's a really good exercise

just for that hip tendonitis in general. So after you get those done, if you want

to do something that's a little higher level, you can go into some side planks.

So when you do side planks with this, what I like to do is add kind of an

exercise, so you're not really just holding the plank, you're dropping your

hips down a little bit and coming back up, and what that does is that just helps

work those muscles in a more dynamic way versus just a plank where you're kind of

doing it statically, so for a lot of people they might want to start on their

knees first which is the modified side plank, which is fine, and then eventually

move out to your feet. So what you're gonna do is your elbow should be pretty much

underneath your shoulder here, so if you're too far one way or the other,

you're gonna risk making your shoulder pretty uncomfortable. You can put your

hand flat, or you can put it up, whichever is more comfortable for you. Put your

knees kind of bent here where you're gonna be in pretty much a straight line,

and then lift your hips up, so I'm still kind of in a straight line even though

I'm on my knees, and then I'm just gonna drop my hip down and then pop it back up.

So this just goes into an exercise making it more dynamic where you're

moving the muscle versus just holding the plank which is more almost like an

isometric kind of exercise, so giving it more movement there just works the

muscles in a little different way, and you can do it both ways and you can also

then do it on your legs all the way straight out on your feet.

You want it to be a little bit harder so you can just drop down and come back up

like that. So the last one's gonna be standing up. So the last move is actually

a stretch, but it's a combination stretch, but it's a little bit of a balance

exercises as well, so I say use something that you can hold on to like if you've

got your desk nearby, or if you got a cane or just a stick because if your

balance isn't great, this is one's gonna be a really hard one to do, so you might

not want to do it if your balance isn't really good. Make sure you have something

to hold on to the first time you try it, and then if it becomes easy, then you

don't have to, but get a chair or something sturdy that's a little bit

lower, and the side that you want to stretch, you're going to put your foot up

on the chair. Use the stick or whatever you're holding onto to kind of hop

forward because you want to get that leg in that nice stretched position right

there, and then what you're going to do is just bend down. Now you see that my

knee went a little bit in front of my toes, so if I can put that foot out a

little bit more that's why you might need the stick because you have to kind

of hop into position, so again this one is a big balanced one it's strengthening

the leg and is stretching the leg as well, so make sure that you're in a safe

position and you don't try it until you're read,

but then again you're just going down, and so I'm getting that stretch, I'm

getting that exercise, and I'm balancing as well, so you don't necessarily have to

hold this this is kind of a dynamic movement one. Just start off with five or

ten, you're gonna feel it, so you probably don't want to do more than that the

first time you do it. So those were your stretches and exercises for hip

tendonitis. If you want to help support my channel, click here, and don't forget

2011-2014 Mustang GT BBK Off-Road Cat Delete Pipes Review - Duration: 3:16.

These are the BBK Off-Road Cat Delete Pipes for the 2011 to 2014 GT, and these offer you

a fast and easy way to affordably eliminate your cats without having to purchase an off-road

mid-pipe.

These will work with either the stock exhaust or aftermarket exhaust.

So stock or aftermarket shorty headers, and the stock or an aftermarket mid-pipe, as long

as it keeps the same two and a half inch diameter.

The install for these pipes is very simple.

You're looking at a one out of three wrenches in the difficulty meter and you can expect

to spend an hour or two getting these on the car.

So the cat delete pipes will connect to the shorty headers and the mid-pipe, whether it

be an X or an H pipe, it doesn't matter.

The nice thing about this is you don't have to purchase a whole new mid-pipe to go catless.

So you get to keep your current mid-pipe or upgrade later if you wanted to.

That's gonna make this a more affordable way to eliminate your cats.

These are Mandrel-Bent aluminized tubing.

Aluminized tubing is nice in the sense that it tends to be less expensive than stainless

steel, but it does have it's down sides.

If you're shopping for a daily driver, or a car that you drive in all different types

of weather, I usually recommend steering away from aluminized tubing.

It doesn't have corrosion resistance like stainless steel does, so it's not gonna hold

up as long as stainless steel would in those cases.

But if you're not shopping for a daily driver, and you don't mind aluminized tubing, then

I'd say that this is a good buy.

Because these are cat delete pipes, I have to say that they're intended for off-road

use only.

You're eliminating your cats here and, essentially, what you'll be doing is opening up a point

of restriction.

That means you get more sound from your exhaust even if you have a completely stock setup.

Your exact exhaust situation will determine what your car is ultimately gonna sound like

though.

The other thing to consider here is you will see a check engine light if you install these

and you don't do anything with those O2s.

A tune can eliminate the check engine light for you.

When it comes to price, you can expect to spend just over $150 for these pipes.

These are currently your only option when it comes to cat delete pipes.

Your other option is to go with an off-road mid-pipe, but that is gonna be a more expensive

than these cat delete pipes.

As far as the install goes, this is a one out of three wrenches in the difficulty meter,

and you can plan on spending an hour or two getting these installed.

You can use a jack and jack stands to get this done, but as always, a lift would make

the job easier.

Once you get the car in the air, you'll need to unplug the rear O2 sensors, loosen the

clamps at the rear of the cat pipes where they'll connect to the front of the mid-pipe.

Unbolt and remove the cats after you pull the bolts from the exhaust manifolds.

Remove the O2 sensors from the stock cats and install them into the BBK cat delete pipes.

Place the cat delete pipes in place reusing the stock metal flange gasket at the headers,

then connect the cat delete pipes to the front of the mid-pipe, plug back in the O2s, and

you're all done.

One other thing I will say here is to go back over the bolts once you've had some run-time

in the car.

Everything will heat up, expand, and contract back down, so you want to check for exhaust

leaks and tighten the bolts.

That's gonna wrap things up for the BBK Off-Road Cat Delete Pipes.

As always, you can check them out more online right here at americanmuscle.com.
