sooo people hey going today and here I have a second lot of Greek coins yeah
this set is actually missing the 10:50 laptop that's okay they pretty much in
the same style as this one so here are 50 left 1 2 5 10 and 20 drachma and
that's great coins these are actually one of my favorite sets so under 50 you
have a just a stylized pattern this is probably taken from Eva a carving or
pottery papi um may some aver in the Classical period or Dupre classical like
Mycenaean times and there's this type of pattern here's really it's basically
just Greek style so on the 1 & 2 you have the athenian l who was associated
with athens and the Greek goddess Athena who is portrayed in here and this is the
actual the type of design that was taken from ancient Athenian coins they were it
was used on a base metal coins Diablo's and the drachma and the tetra
drachma and attached drachma is just like for dragons
he knows the main trading coin at the time of the Athenian Empire prove it um
probably for 450 to around about 400 BC and this design was actually used on
ancient Greek coins I'm at 500 BC to 200 beating on the five-and-ten you have
Pegasus who is a it's a winged horse is actually quite famous here as I'm side
by Poseidon he was a Greek god of the ocean
and every time he put his heels on the ground
supposedly thunder and lightning and earthquakes come out of it and this is
my favorite coin actually because I love this design of always have it's very um
very good headache he's the horse Pegasus in a denomination and it just
goes well together and II also had say the name of the engraver here and it is
on only 20 drachma as I finer and she has a typical what he said what's a city
Corinthian helmet I believe daddy's in this is much likely horsey up here and
this is in the classical Greek style of carvings we can say a lot about
monuments which the Romans actually copied you can actually search Wikipedia
and look a lot of them so on the reverse we have a Phoenix which was introduced

I love these days aren't very good these ones a milled so if you have a look at
the sides you can see that the bronze made up one's a mule d5 Jack marries

lettering la Nikita McCarthy okay so they the great coins of the early 70s
actually 1973 there's all one-year times I love them I encourage you to collect
them great coins quite beautiful and the ones after this basically just as good
