The trip to Kalamata - Duration: 7:06.

We had been working on this trip for a long time.

We organized a Christmas bazaar,

we performed theatrical plays

and we wasted many hours out of school to plan this

In the end, however, the result was rewarding.

That was the the 9th grade's school trip.

Thursday 30/3/2017 DAY 1 Spetses - Kalamata

Our trip started on Thursday morning

Everyone had arrived at the harbour early

waiting for the ferry

After a few minutes, we arrived at Kosta, Greece

and we got on the bus

to begin our journey.

After a lot of travelling and a short stop,

we arrived at Kalamata, Greece.

The next place on our list

was the Military Museum of Kalamata.

There,

a soldier

guided us around

and he talked to us about the history of Greece

from the Greek revolution (against the Turks/Turkish) to the World War II

with simple but meaningful talk

which in addition to his friendly and humorous attitude,

made the guided tour very entertaining

and pleasant

Afterwards we made a stop for lunch,

we went for a walk to the central square

and then we went to visit the Municipal Railway Park.

Our visit,

didn't last long, because an unexpected rainfall

ruined our plans

and we had to go to our hotel.

When we arrived at the hotel,

we took our room's key

and we settled in.

The room was simple with all the necessities

but what made it special,

was its wonderful view.

After we had settled in and had a shower,

we enjoyed our dinner

and we slept waiting for the next day.

Friday 31/3/2017 DAY 2 Kalamata - Pilos - Methoni - Finikounta

The next day, we woke up early

and after we had had our breakfast

we got on the bus heading for

the castle of Pilos, Greece

When we arrived at the castle, our guide

told us about the castle's history

and the eras it stood and served

as well as about its importance for the local population.

After that,

we visited the Ephorate of Underwater Antiquities Museum

which was situated in the area

and after a short walk in the city of Pilos

we departed

for the castle of Methoni, Greece.

After a while we arrived in Methoni.

Due to some delays we didn't arrived on time,

and as a result, we had only 30 minutes for our guided tour,

so we had to hurry up!

After we had wondered around the castle

and we had learned some things about it,

we departed for the restaurant "Elena" in Finikounda, Greece

where we stopped to have lunch

before going back to the hotel.

When we arrived at the hotel,

after we had relaxed and had had our dinner,

we got ready for our night out.

Unfortunately, due to a misunderstanding with another school,

, it was almost certain that our night out would be cancelled.

Fortunately, though, the misunderstanding was solved

and we got on the bus heading for

the club 16!

After we had danced our hearts out,

we came back to the hotel

and we slept waiting for the next day.

Saturday 1/4/2017 DAY 3 Kalamata - Mistras - Spetses

After our yesterday's "all-nighter"

we once again had to wake up early

because we had to pack our suitcases

and leave the beautiful Kalamata, in order to visit Mistas,

and then come back to our hometown (Spetses)

So, after we got ready and had our breakfast,

we got on the bus

and we departed for Mistras.

When we arrived at Mistras,

we visited the "Takis Aivalis" camera museum

where we learned some things about photography

and we saw the Takis Aivalis' camera collection,

which is the biggest camera collection internationally.

After that, we visited the castle-city of Mistras,

where our guide told us about the history of the area

and she guided us around.

When the guided tour ended, we went to the restaurant

"The Greek" where we had lunch for the last time

before we departed for the harbour.

That trip of ours was certainly

something unique.

Within only 3 days, we visited

many, completely new places to us and we created

many and pleasant memories

which will never be forgotten.

Why It Would Suck To Live In Westeros - Duration: 5:08.

Game of Thrones fans might like to imagine themselves taking up arms with the Starks

or joining Daenerys Targaryen's eclectic squad.

There are adventures aplenty to be had in the Realm of Westeros.

But before you get too enthused over the idea of becoming a, uh, Westerosi, here are some

reasons why warging your way into George R.R. Martin's world from A Song of Ice and Fire

would actually be a pretty terrible experience.

Belief is futile

Choosing a religion is always tricky.

But in Westeros the implications of picking who to worship are far more complex than they

ever could be on Earth — because pretty much every faith has been proven true.

And yet they all conflict with each other.

Take, for example, the fact that the Lord of Light's followers relish any chance to

prove their god's existence by burning or resurrecting pretty much everyone they come

across.

Between Melisandre's secret crone body and Jon Snow's second life, there's no doubt something

real is happening there.

Then there's the Drowned God, who's proven that what is dead may never die … at least

sometimes.

Just ask Euron Greyjoy about how that works.

Annnnnd we also know the Old Gods are valid because of whatever the hell is going on with

Bran Stark and his new-found bird powers.

So what can you do?

Choose the Lord of Light and you'll anger the Drowned God next time you're at sea.

Go for the Drowned God and you might incur the wrath of the Old Gods.

It's an endlessly vicious cycle of power from on high that makes even the Iron Throne's

occupation look stable.

Making matters worse is the fact that a lot of those religions require human sacrifices.

If you're a commoner, or in some cases even a princess, you could easily find yourself

on the chopping block or the pyre.

Yikes.

No fun in the sun

It's fairly common knowledge that seasons can last for multiple years in the world of

A Song of Ice and Fire.

Westeros has been enjoying one of the longest summers in living memory by the time Game

of Thrones picks up, but as we've so often heard…

"Winter is coming."

The running theory is that the longer a summer lasts, the more brutal winter will be, so

forget relishing in the sparkling sunshine with the kids.

In this world, good weather is nothing but a bad omen.

Talk about a killjoy.

Snail mail, with wings

Westerosi magic might be awesome, at times, but everyone's reliance on ravens to carry

messages to and fro is about as antiquated and ridiculous as it gets.

Contacting someone across the Seven Kingdoms isn't like it is here.

You can't just text your best friend a quick update and call it a day.

You have to handwrite your notes using quills and little scrolls and pray to whichever god

you chose a few minutes ago that the raven you've chosen doesn't crap out mid-flight

or get intercepted by a nosy spider.

Just think about that next time you get frustrated over having one bar of reception on your phone,

huh?

Communicable disease

Here on Earth, we might have valid concerns about potential outbreaks.

But it's nothing like what the Westerosi face.

Just ask Jorah Mormont how fun it is to come into contact with a stone man and start showing

symptoms of grayscale.

The cure for that, as we've seen, is not very pleasant.

"Ahhhh!"

What's worse is there's no quarantined hospital bed for you to get stashed away in with an

IV to ease the pain.

Instead, having grayscale makes you an automatic pariah who must live out your days in exile

with the other crazy Stone Men — who are both gross and lethal.

And Stone Men never get visited by hospital clowns.

The Faceless

Arya Stark might make the Faceless Men seem pretty rad, but let's be real here.

No one in their right mind wants to co-exist with these super-assassins.

If you have trouble trusting your neighbors now, just imagine if you lived in a world

where literally anyone could be a shapeshifting murderer in disguise who's taught to kill

without question.

What's worse is that in George R.R. Martin's world, you really can't even overlook your

own shadow as a potential threat.

Remember what happened to Renly Baratheon?

All it takes is one outraged witch to take you down where you stand without a blade in

sight.

Snows know

Being born out of wedlock in modern times isn't a big deal.

When it comes to families nowadays, who's to say who's illegitimate anymore?

In Westeros, however, being born a bastard is bad news.

You're immediately condemned to a life of indignation and contempt, have no claim to

your family's house, and you even have to take a name that alerts everyone to your status

as less-than.

The best you can hope for as a bastard is to earn legitimization if you're lucky, or

resign yourself to a sexless, family-less life of taking the black of the Night's Watch.

And this is all just because of someone else's naughty bedroom behaviors you had nothing

to do with.

No fair.

All the jaws

Thanks to modern civilization, we hardly have to worry about wild animals making a meal

of us anymore.

But in Westeros, there are several species that are just eager to feast on your flesh.

Among the fabled creatures that have been confirmed to exist in the books and show are

dragons and direwolves, each of which has its own unique way of bringing you a grisly

and untimely end.

"Dracarys."

And let's not forget about all those White Walkers lurking on the other side of the wall

that would be all too happy to turn you into a snow-zombie.

All it takes is one wrong turn of the horse and you've got a good chance of coming face-to-face

with something that's crawled out of your own nightmares.

Oh, and as a bonus?

Your own pets can be taken over by skinchangers.

So, even your most precious fur-baby can suddenly find itself inhabited by some maniacal wildling

who wants to kill you.

Hi again everyone, and welcome back to 'One English Tip in One Minute for

Portuguese Speakers' where every week I talk about one common mistake made by

those who speak Portuguese as a mother tongue, and this is the 44th video or

video number 44.

If you don't know how this works in these videos, I show you a slide and on

the slide there are two sentences: One is the correct way that I as a native

English speaker would say it, the other is the wrong way that you -- maybe, maybe

not -- would say it as a native Portuguese speaker. You need to decide which one

is correct. To do that you should read the sentences, listen to me read the

sentences, pause the video and think about your answer, and I will talk about

the answer in the slide that follows this slide. I tricked you, didn't I? I

didn't forget. I admire you for working to improve your English and I

hope you keep it up, and I hope you keep going and I hope you use these videos to help.

You're in good company if you got this wrong, or if

you took a wild guess and just happened to get it right. What it means is, it's

very simple. You just need to study to get past this mistake. The more you

study, the quicker you'll get past this mistake. To start you off on the

process, I've given you three sentences. You should memorize these sentences in

their entirety, you should hardwire them into your brain through reviewing them,

and you should put into practice what you've learned through speaking or

writing or both...and you should just continue this process using outside

resources if you have to, until you get the good English in your head and the

bad English is out of your head, hopefully forever.

Mika's sister came to help his Mother, Who brought new costumes for the stage.

But it's Mika who decides everything.

He left jeans and colored T-shirts For the look of Dandy from 20s.

I love this style with long Socks till the knees And short Shorts till here for example.

Mika on the other hand doesn't seem satisfied. Mika - "It makes me feel hot to wear these."

His Mom is never calm. She is scared to disappoint her Son.

These are not stage costumes. It's not Fashion & not Costumes. You have to do one or another.

Is it easy working with your Brother?

I'm used to it - we understand each other. And it works.
