Economic Control In Developing Countries

Information on this channel about the Mark of the Beast mostly focuses on banks in the developed world.

We assume that new technology starts in wealthier countries

and then gradually trickles down to the poor countries.

But often, the truth is quite the opposite.

Citizens in developing countries are more vulnerable

Making them into ideal guinea pigs.

Poverty makes it easier for governments to bully people into accepting changes.

In my home country, India

A national ID card, referred to as "AADHAAR" card was introduced in September 2010.

Citizens were given a 12 digit number, photographs, finger prints, and iris scan, stored in a data base.

The poor were told they would benefit the most from the ID card

as they could use it to access subsidized food like rice and sugar

and basic necessities like kerosene for cooking.

Without the card, they would no longer access these benefits.

Really, the poor were left with no choice but to sign-up, or starve.

The public were told that the card was not mandatory, but the push to sign-up was intense.

Not just for adults, but for children, as well.

Schools were used to get children of all ages entered into the database.

Now six years later, 1 billion people have the card.

It is the largest national ID project in the world.

Not surprisingly, the system has changed over those 6 years.

In 2012, just two years after the launch

the government introduced a scheme to use the card for cashless transactions of any size.

linking them to bank accounts.

This is called the direct cash transfer scheme.

The push now is to upgrade to a microchipped smart-card.

which will be required to access more and more government services, like health care and education.

The government even uses them to monitor work attendance for all public servants.

The AADHAAR ID card started out as a voluntary system, supposedly to help the poor.

But all of that is changing.

The government is not happy that only 75% of the population signed up.

It wants them all!

They now want to make it compulsory for everyone to have the card.

Those who don't will be regarded as criminals.

There were initial concerns about privacy.

The government promised that no one would be able to access the information,

But now, more and more agencies are linking into the data base.

The plan is to give the details of all citizens to security forces,

so they can monitor everyone's movement.

In the space of 6 years, the changes in India have become enormous.

A billion people are becoming more and more dependent on an ID system

that can be used to control them.

It won't take much for the information to be used to persecute minorities.

All it takes is for the wrong politician to be voted in.

Every indication is that India will continue moving in this direction.

What seemed unbelievable 10 years ago is happening before our eyes.

The country with the world's biggest population may be one of the first to become cashless.

And most people say it like it's a good thing!

It's not just happening in India. It's happening everywhere.

We need to open our eyes and see where this is leading.

WATCH: Hurricane Reporter Makes Epic Patriotic Move During Live Broadcast | Top Stories Today - Duration: 3:47.

Hurricane Harvey has proven to be one of the most devastating storms our country has ever

witnessed.

There has been one confirmed death, and there has been at least $40 billion in damages up

to this point.

During filming for a segment on The Weather Channel, something occurred that would make

the heart of any true American swell with pride.

Weather reporter Paul Goodloe spotted an American flag sitting just outside of Rockport, Texas,

in the wreckage of a tree.

As soon as he saw it, he ran to pick it up off of the ground.

Goodloe tells his camera man, "I can't let Old Glory just sit here like that."

He then walked through the wreckage, and toward the flag.

Once he made his way around the street, he stated, "I don't know how strong the winds

have to be to cut a palm tree in half, but that's what happened to the top of this

tree."

He then looked at the flag.

"But next to it, you have Old Glory.

I can't let Old Glory just sit here like that," Goodloe states again.

This kind of patriotism is so rare, we need to recognize it when it is caught on camera.

Goodloe then went on to mention that nearby schools were battered.

He then bent down to pick up the flag and stretch it out.

Goodloe begins folding up the flag the best he can, despite the winds blowing against

him and fighting his every move.

After finally managing to fold the flag into a triangle shape, he smiles.

Goodloe finally comments that he couldn't get a "perfect fold," but that the job

will suffice — he then tucked the flag under his arm and continued reporting on the storm.

This sense of patriotism is lost among the new generation — in particular, the Democrats.

They no longer understand what great sacrifices the men and women standing for that flag had

to go through for our freedom.

Perhaps it is something that will elude them forever.

Unepic Adventures for the Sega Game Gear: AX BATTLER Review - An Unfortunate Assplosion - Duration: 5:12.

If I were a more famous YouTube personality this review would probably go something like

this: "Ax Battler?!

More like Ass Battler!"

But I'm not James Rolfe (or even a good impersonator) so I should probably elaborate

on what exactly makes Ax Battler complete and utter garbage.

Where do I even begin?

The fact that the titular "Ax" Battler carries a sword?

Nah.

Ooo!

How about the encounter rate!?

Some portions of the over world are more grievous offenders than others – the desert area

in particular would spawn a new battle every other step.

This would be infuriating in any other RPG but it's made worse by the fact that grinding

in Ax Battler is absolutely pointless.

You don't gain stats or even levels.

If you can defeat the enemy you'll gain a few magic vases – which double as both

money and MP.

But if the enemy hits you – once – it's battle over.

In my personal experience I lose way more often than I win (seriously these jumping

skeletons are total dicks).

So what effectually happens is I slug my way to the dungeon with half health.

Thanks game.

Not like this shit wasn't hard enough already.

Appreciate the fucking support.

Cock-anyway…

The dungeons are the real meat of the gameplay; these side scrolling platform areas would

be fun if it weren't for the game's awful hit detection, mud controls, and limited field

of view.

Like most platformers on the Game Gear, Ax Battler suffers from an abundance of off screen

hazards and leaps of guessing.

It takes much trial and error before you'll memorize where to jump and when to attack

and thanks to your minimal health supply you'll die often and be forced to trek back across

the over world before you can try again – and again – and again.

Dying is annoying, not only because, well you're dead - but because it zeroes out

your already small stash of magic vases – the game's impractical form of currency.

Theoretically you could spend these on astronomical inn rates – but what's the point when

dying warps you back to town with full health?

Vases are also the necessary components for the magic you'll never cast.

I assume that your more expensive spells could really help clear out the tougher dungeon

opponents but what the fuck do I know?

I've never been able to afford them.

Then you have this pointless RPG fluff; at first glance Ax Battler looks like a more

colorful version of Dragon Warrior – which normally I would love – but it's been

so poorly implemented that it detracts from the potentially-enjoyable action bits.

You will have to talk to the incredibly boring NPCs to uncover quest directions but this

is never more than tedious busy work.

There's zero equipment to buy and because of the lack of experience system your character

undergoes minimal growth.

You'll finish out the game almost as awkwardly and underpowered as you began – while the

enemies continue to get tougher and stronger.

I say "minimal growth" because every town houses a trainer who, upon defeat, will teach

you a special move – such as taping forward twice and attack to bum rush your foes or

simply jumping while swinging – the attacks that increase you damage are appreciated but

the system is inherently flawed.

Had these basic moves been available from the start of the game and the trainer system

used exclusively for increasing attack power, Ax Battler would have had a fun and robust

combat system – much like any other Golden Axe title.

However as the system is implemented, you'll likely resort to spamming Ax's most powerful

attack.

While good RPG-em-ups exist, Ax Battler's RPG trappings only serve to hold the player

back and prevent them from going totally berserk on Death Adder's lackies.

Alright rant over.

So the game sucks?

But does it have any redeeming qualities at all?

Uh, well I guess the main character is pretty fucking metal: "Axxxxxx Battleeeeer!"

Yeah.

Look; the Gamegear RPG library gets better.

I promise.

But you could literally play anything else for the system and have a perfectly enjoyable

weekend.

So let's forget this unfortunate disappointment and stay tuned to Daria Plays for more "Unepic

Adventures for the Sega GameGear".

You know what?

Before I let you go let me reiterate just in case I didn't get my point across.

Ax Battler: fuck this game.

Fuck fuck this terrible fucking game.

Sometimes when opposites attract it can be a little awkward.

Case and point, Ed Sheeran sharing the stage with Lil Uzi Vert at the 2017 VMA awards.

Ed Sheeran had the lovely task of following Kendrick Lamar's explosive performance of

'DNA' and 'Humble' so to up the ante, he surprised fans with bringing Lil Uzi Vert to perform

and unofficial remix of 'Shape of You' and XO TOUR Llif3.

The reaction from the crowd was mixed to say the least.

Ludacris looked into it, but the woman next to him was confused.

Pink was also getting a kick out of the duo, but Cardi B's reaction takes the cake.

The Bodak Yellow artist left nothing to the imagination with her facial expression that

translated how the majority of people watching felt.

However the pair is not as unlikely as they seem.

Sheeran has been very open about his love for hip hop.

He's even mentioned wanting to collab with Chance the Rapper, and Uzi recently sat down

with Beats 1 Radio's Zane Lowe, telling him his plans to take his freestyle approach

to creating a rock album.

Uzi is of course fresh off the release of his highly anticipated debut album Luv is

Rage 2.

He took home a moon man for song of the summer for XO Tour Lif3' and Ed Sheeran took home

an award for artist of the year.

It has come to light that a radio station WiLD 94. 9 that is based in San Francisco, California played the track for all the fans in the bay area on August 25.

Upon listening to the track, fans of BTS couldnt help but show their excitement and started to recommend more songs of the group to the station with the hope of them playing more K-pop songs in the future.

This is not the first time the radio station has played BTS songs it seems as a few days ago, they played some of their other hits such as Fire and Not Today.

Before the radio station started to play the boys songs, there were hidden contributions from the fans.

BTS fans based in the United States created fan associations in various areas of the country and consistently requested radio stations to play the groups songs. Would you like to see other U.S. radio stations play K-pop songs as well?.

University receives backlash after saying they can only afford Lovelyz instead of Red Velvet and TWICE

It appears that the Students Association at the Korea Aerospace University is receiving criticism from netizens and fans of Lovelyz after putting up an apology post for casting the group for a University festival event.

The incident started when the Students Association at the University cast Lovelyz for an upcoming festival event.

After finding out the girls were scheduled to perform at the event, some students expressed their discontent of the group choice and stated they wanted to see TWICE or Red Velvet instead of Lovelyz.

Upon seeing the negative feedback, the Student Association put up an apology post through their Facebook page.

The apology reads, The reason we chose to go with Lovelyz was because artists like Red Velvet and TWICEs fees were too high that if we were to cast them, we would have had to invest all of our budget just on them.

The performance time frame is very limited that we thought it would have been inefficient. We were unable to make the decisions after conducting a survey among the students because we did not have the luxury of long preparation time.

Considering the condition of the University, the celebrities choices were very limited and those who were possible/available were all hip-hop artists.

For example, Geeks Lil Boi is an alumnus of the University and so he hoped to perform at the festival and San E was selected because his songs were something the audience could sing along as we were unable to cast anyone from the Ballad or Rock genre area.

We would like to sincerely apologize once again for causing the controversy above and if you have any questions, we will earnestly answer all of them..

However, upon seeing this apology post, fans of Lovelyz and netizens became outraged at the comments made by the Association as they treated the group as an object and also considered them cheap compared to other artists.

Some of the comments read, Whats wrong with Lovelyz?, Wow what is this. this is really rude, This a very inconsiderate behavior towards Lovelyz, Uh.

even from the first line, I think its considered rude to say that. , How can you put price tag on people?, I hope the whole event just gets canceled, and much more. What do you think of the situation?.

Hello and welcome to today episode of Test and Measurement Basics

where we will show you the tips and tricks for making the best out of your instruments.

I am Tit Bin.

Today, I will show you how you can easily connect your 34972A to your PC via LAN easily.

First, be sure you have your latest Keysight Connection Expert installed on your PC.

If you have not already done so, please download it for free at www.keysight.com.

Let's hook up our DAQ to our LAN network.

For both the PC and DAQ to work together, they both need to be on the same network.

Let's go ahead and set up our DAQ for LAN.

Press Shift and Interface button.

Select LAN, enable it,

scroll through the menu.

This is the IP address, you might want to note that down,

because I am going to show you how you can easily and quickly connect to your DAQ using the IP address.

Scroll through the menu.

Alright! Looks like we are good to go!

Let's go ahead and fire up our Connection Expert.

So, let's Add instrument, select LAN instrument, enter the IP address.

Click OK,

and there you have it, it's connected!

Let's verify the connection, by setting an IDN query.

And there you have it, your DAQ is now connected to your PC via LAN.

In case you do not have the Connection Expert installed on your PC,

or you are using somebody else's PC, you can still connect to your DAQ using the web browser,

because your DAQ is LXI compliant. I'll show you how!

So, launch your web browser,

key in your IP address.

Enter.

and there you have it! You are connected to your DAQ using your web browser.

How cool is that?
