The Real Reason Charlize Theron Dumped Sean Penn - Duration: 5:13.

Even by Hollywood standards, Sean Penn's romance with fellow Oscar winner Charlize Theron was

a fleeting one.

For 18 months, the pair were a high-profile power couple — only to stun everyone by

breaking up without warning in May of 2015.

What was behind the sudden split?

Here's the real story about how and why this celebrity couple called it quits.

Not that serious

During the stars' relationship, rumors swirled that Penn was about to sign papers making

him the legal father of Theron's adopted son Jackson, with one source telling People magazine,

"Charlize says this is it.

Jackson already calls Sean 'daddy'."

But that never came to pass, and as it turned out, the press had greatly exaggerated the

seriousness of their romance.

In an interview with Wall Street Journal, Theron said,

"The stories that Sean was going to adopt Jackson and all of that was not true.

It's not something that happens in 18 months.

You can't do that to a child."

Single motherhood

After the breakup, Theron also revealed that she'd wanted to adopt a second child — but

not with her then-boyfriend.

Though the actress praised Sean Penn for the way he handled the tricky situation with her

son Jackson, he wasn't involved in her plans to extend her family; Theron said,

"He knew that I was thinking about filing for another adoption but that we weren't filing

together."

Ultimately, she ended up adopting her second child, a daughter, just a few months after

the split.

Mixing business with pleasure

Working alongside the love of your life might seem like a dream gig on the surface, but

working in the same industry as her beau proved challenging for Charlize Theron.

According to the actress, her relationship with Penn became strained when they worked

together on a movie in which she was starring and he was directing, and they were both to

blame for things going south.

In an interview with Elle magazine, she said,

"For the first time, I felt that my work was really bleeding into my life and that made

it hard.

There were moments where I was incredibly unfair to him."

"And moments where I felt like… he was incredibly unfair to me."

Their disastrous movie

When Penn cast Theron in his African aid drama The Last Face, the couple probably thought

they'd be spreading a valuable message to audiences in a critically and commercially

successful film.

But instead, the exact opposite happened: reviewers roasted the movie in general and

Penn's directing in particular, calling it a "crass romance" and lambasting his tone-deaf,

privileged approach to what was supposed to be an awareness-raising premise.

A number of commentators were quick to notice the link between this doomed project and the

timing of the Penn-Theron breakup a year earlier.

To many, it seemed like Charlize wanted to distance herself from their stinker of a movie

just as badly as from the relationship itself— one insider even told Radar Online that Theron

was refusing to help promote the film, leaving Penn sweating over its release.

Not the marrying kind

Charlize Theron is no stranger to long-term relationships; before she took up with Sean

Penn she spent nine years dating Irish actor Stuart Townsend.

But the two seemingly never discussed marriage, and Theron has long been on the record as

being uninterested in the whole institution.

In an interview with Vogue, she said,

"Let's put it this way: I never had the dream of the white dress."

"The actual ceremony is not something that's important to me."

Rumors that Theron had undergone a change of heart started to swirl after Us Weekly

claimed that she had accepted a marriage proposal from Penn, and intensified when she was spotted

wearing a massive sparkly ring on her finger months later.

But it was a false alarm: it turned out that Theron was not only not engaged to Penn, but

also not planning a future with him in any capacity.

Five months later, the couple was dunzo — and according to many sources, the end wasn't

pretty.

Ghosted

Charlize Theron and Sean Penn abruptly ended their relationship in May 2015, and in the

aftermath of the breakup, a surprising detail emerged: according to a source close to Penn,

Theron simply stopped talking to her then-boyfriend during the 2015 Cannes Film Festival, cutting

off all contact and axing him from her life with no explanation at all.

An insider told Us Weekly,

"Charlize wasn't responding to his calls and texts.

She just cut it off."

Theron eventually denied that version of events in a candid interview, saying,

"We were in a relationship and then it didn't work anymore.

And we both decided to separate.

That's it."

However, the theory of a messy end to the romance was clearly supported by the frosty

vibe surrounding the pair at Cannes the following year, where they had to come together temporarily

for the premiere of their doomed collaboration, The Last Face.

Although both Penn and Theron kept it professional, the way Charlize looked at her ex during their

press conference left little question that she would rather have been anywhere else.

How To Maximize Your Use of Influencers - Duration: 1:50.

- Someone just sent me a really great question.

How do you maximize the use of influencers?

It's a great question because I see a lot of

brands and people that will partner with influencers,

whether it's two of them or 200 of them.

They give them something to post, they tell them

what to say, they write it or they give them

a little bit of leeway, that influencer

posts it and that's the end of it.

And then they wonder did anything really happen?

And a lot of the times, not really.

Maybe a little bit, something up.

Maybe you got a couple followers, maybe a few sales.

Maybe you started to gain a little bit of momentum.

The reality is when you're using influencers,

just influencers, just like everything else,

It's just the beginning.

You need to figure out how do I use these influencers

not to just post something but then to interact and engage.

Your brand needs to go to every single one of

those influencers' posts and respond to every single

comment that every person made on every image,

every post, you need to find ways to take those influencers

and integrate them into something else you're doing.

Do you have an event, great, have them show up.

Have them promote it, have them come there.

Do you have a podcast, have some of those influencers

come on the podcast, have them promote it.

Then have them put out content and take your photo

and do your little video bit.

It's just like everything in marketing.

It doesn't start and stop with that one interaction.

That's just the catalyst to start other interactions.

Engagement is the key, you want to start the conversation.

You use an influencer to gain a bit of an audience

and then you have to do the hard work

which is the engagement, which is finding ways to

cross promote and actually give something to

your consumer, their audience that gives them a reason

to have a conversation with you and to pay attention to you.

How To Make A Pallet Christmas Tree | DIY - Duration: 3:48.

hey guys this person so in today's video I'm gonna show you how to make this

Christmas tree just using a pallet it was a lot of fun and I really didn't use

a lot of things to make it so I'm gonna show you what I did use and how I made

it for this project you will need a pallet a circular saw a drill with a

screw bit and a drill bit you also need a hammer some exterior wood screws and

interior wood screws you also need some newspaper dark green

paint and a paintbrush Christmas lights some tacks and a red bow to start this

project you will need to draw two lines in the shape of a triangle you can

either just use a ruler or a chalk box like we're doing but you just want to

start at the top and center of your palate and then bring the line to the

bottom corners now use your circular saw and cut along the lines that you just

drew don't worry about the wood on the back because we will cut those later you

also might notice that the boards are a little bit wobbly but we are gonna screw

those down so they're more secure the next step is to flip the palette over

and cut the boards on the back the main part of your Christmas tree is complete

and you'll want to pull that apart so all you're left with is the two end

pieces which we will be using later now start using your exterior wood screws to

drill in two screws into each board this will make it a lot more stable so that

the boards won't move around any more now we're gonna take one of those corner

pieces that was left over after you cut your Christmas tree and you pretty much

want to strip it down to the post so get rid of all the boards on the front and

the back of that center post you're gonna want to measure out 4 9 inch

pieces of wood and then cut those with your circular saw this is gonna be used

for the base of the tree using your hammer kind of wedge the wood into the

base and then hammer it in really close you really only want it sticking out

about 4 to 5 inches once the holes are pre-drilled you can screw in two wood

screws per side next take the last two 9 inch pieces of wood and place them on

the bottom of your stand this will make the whole tree a lot more sturdy you'll

use two wood screws to attach each now comes the fun part where you get to

paint and decorate the tree you'll want to lie down some newspaper and then

using some dark green exterior paint paint on a pretty thick coat to the

front of your tree I also recommend that you buy a new paint brush from Home

Depot or something and a really cheap one because this wood is extremely rough

and it will destroy your paint brush once you're done painting the front you

may notice that you can see some of the slats in the back so you can either just

leave it like that if you'd like that look or you can go in and paint the

center post and the pieces of wood on the back just make sure that you also

get the sides and the tops of each of the slats of wood the next thing to do

is to string your lights so what I'm doing is starting at the top and I'm

kind of Criss crossing going back and forth along so I'm not wrapping it

around I'm just going down one piece of wood across and then down kind of making

a zigzag as I go all the way down as long as you pull it snug and you get it

caught on the corner they won't move or fall off before you're finished with the

lights you'll want to grab some tacks and tack down the connection at the top

of the christmas-light as well as the bottom so that everything stays intact

and doesn't fall off and that's pretty much it you can leave your tree bare

like this if you want or what I did is I took a red bow and just tied it to the

light string at the top of my tree just to give it a little pop of color alright

guys so that's it for today's video I hope you liked it and if you did make

sure you give me a thumbs up and subscribe to see more

10 Dogs That Don't Shed Too Much for People with Allergies (Hypoallergenic Dog Breeds) Animal Facts - Duration: 10:04.

Want a dog, but your allergies just say, "Noooo!"?

Well, one of these breeds just might be the thing.

But remember, no breeds are guaranteed hypoallergenic.

So, the best bet is to spend time with a breed before adopting.

Hi, I'm Leroy and I'm Rosie and this is Animal Facts.

Let's get started.

But, before we start, take a moment to like and subscribe for more fun, fauna facts.

Let us know about your doggy in the comments below.

10.

Border Terrier

The Border Terrier was bred for hunting foxes and rodents, but this intelligent and hardy

breed also makes her a lively companion or family pet.

The Border is good-tempered, affectionate, obedient, and easily trained.

She's highly intelligent and quickly learns the cues that signal you're going outside

for a walk or to the office, when it's dinnertime, and what you like and don't like her to chew.

Her wiry coat is hypoallergenic, sheds little, and requires an easy weekly brushing.

The Border Terriers isn't yappy, but she'll bark to alert you of anything unusual, and

she can become a nuisance barker if she gets bored.

We publish every Monday and Friday.

So, hit that notification icon to not miss a single fact.

9.

Shih Tzu

The Shih Tzu is both loyal and friendly, and he happens to be hypoallergenic, too.

The Shih Tzu's coat does not shed, with the hair only falling out when brushed or

broken.

The favored pet of the Tang Dynasty, this "little lion dog" comes in a variety of colors

and patterns.

This Toy dog is sturdy and lively, with a carriage often described as arrogant, due

to his proudly held head and curling tail.

The Shih Tzu was bred to be a house pet, and his gentle, trusting nature makes him an exceptional

companion.

8.

Bichon Frise

The Bichon Frise is truly a non-shedding small dog who has hair like yours instead of fur.

This playful and affectionate dog is an ideal pet for people with allergies, but she is

not maintenance-free.

The Bichon Frise's hair grows continuously, requiring frequent grooming, brushing, and

the occasional bath in order to keep up with her powder-puff looks.

No dog is truly hypoallergenic as all dogs shed some allergens.

If you have dog allergies, we suggest you spend time with a breed before you adopt.

7.

Basenji

If you love hounds but don't enjoy their distinctive corn chip odor and shedding habits, the Basenji,

who originates from Central Africa, might be the perfect small dog breed for you.

The Basenji sheds very minimally, and his short, fine coat requires little care beyond

the occasional brushing.

The Basenji lacks a distinctive odor and is also famously quiet, which makes him an ideal

dog for apartments - as long as he gets daily exercise and playtime.

He is a hunting dog after all.

6.

Bolognese

Like the Bichon Frise, the distinctive fluffy coat of the Bolognese is composed of hair

rather than fur.

The Bolognese does not shed, although dead hair must be brushed out regularly, and the

coat requires daily grooming to keep this lovable lap dogs looking her best.

The Bolognese, like his cousin the Bichon Frise, is a tiny white dog with curly hair.

Unlike the Bichon, the Bolognese's hair flows in long, wavy locks, giving him the look of

a fairy tale dog.

Sometimes a bit shy, he's something of a one-person dog, never happier than when he's in your

lap.

5.

Chinese Crested

One way to avoid shedding is to select a dog breed without hair or fur.

The Chinese Crested comes in two coat types: hairless and powderpuff.

The Hairless Chinese Crested have hair on his head, tail, and feet, while the powderpuff

is covered with a coat of fine hair that sheds very minimally.

A hairless dog breed requires extra care and attention when it comes to his skin.

Without hair, he needs protection from the sun and cold and is more prone to skin irritations.

The most popular of the hairless breeds, the Chinese Crested is still very rare.

He is alert, charming, agile and lovable.

Though affectionate and playful with children, children should be taught not to be rough

with him as he is friendly, but he does not have the protective hair that other breeds

have and can get injured easily.

Overall, he is an entertaining and amusing companion.

4.

Havanese

This native Cuban dog offers his owner both his spunky charm and a coat that doesn't shed,

which means less time spent lint rolling the furniture and more time romping with the playful

Havanese.

A member of the Bichon family of dogs, along with the Bichon Frise, the Maltese, and the

Bolognese, his coat requires weekly brushing and regular baths to keep him clean and healthy.

The Havanese does well in all types of housing, from apartments to homes with large yards.

But he'll probably bark when he sees someone passing by the house or when he hears a strange

noise.

The good news is that he doesn't bark just for the sake of hearing his own voice.

3.

Lhasa Apso

This small dog breed from Tibet makes an excellent companion.

Calm yet playful, the Lhasa Apso enjoys brisk walks and resting in her owner's lap.

Lhasa Apso doesn't shed, but her coat does require maintenance.

Many owners keep their Lhasa Apso clipped in a "puppy cut" to avoid daily grooming and

brushing of her long hair.

Be aware that the breed is known for being impatient with the normal clumsiness associated

with children; he'll nip.

He tends to bond with adults more than with youngsters, but this isn't a hard-and-fast

rule.

Older children, or young children who are exceptionally gentle with dogs, can live happily

with the Lhasa.

If you are seeking a 100 percent "kid dog," the Lhasa is probably not a good choice.

2.

Miniature Schnauzer

The Miniature Schnauzer is a smart, trainable, and cheerful little dog that strongly resembles

his Standard Schnauzer cousin.

This Terrier sheds very little, and his adaptability makes him at home in the city or the country,

as long as his people are close by.

To keep your Miniature Schnauzer looking his best, incorporate weekly brushing and regular

grooming into his schedule.

He likes to be in the center of the action.

He's fairly good with children and he's energetic, with a lot of terrier spunkiness.

The problem is, he has no clue how small he is, and he's likely to talk trash to a much

larger dog without any concept of the consequences.

That swagger of his can get him in trouble, so it's up to you to keep him in line.

Before we get to number one, here are some popular breeds we didn't cover.

Affenpinscher Brussels Griffon

Maltese Scottish Terrier

Yorkshire Terrier

Hey guys, we've been working on our Patreon page and hope you'll check it out at patreon.com/animalfacts.

1.

Poodle

Last but certainly not least is the Poodle.

Most people think of the poodle when they hear about small dogs that don't shed, and

with good reason.

The Poodle is non-shedding and hypoallergenic.

Miniature and Toy Poodles offer these qualities in a petite, intelligent package that differ

only in size from Standard Poodles.

The Poodle is highly intelligent, making him easy to train.

He is an active, proud dog.

His hair does require regular grooming to avoid mats and tangles.

The Poodle has been used as a contributing parent for quite a few hypoallergenic hybrid

breeds often called Doodle dogs, such as the Cavapoo, the Maltipoo, the Schnoodle and the

Cockapoo.

There's a playlist in the card.

The Surprising Number of Survivors Aboard the Hindenburg - Duration: 7:12.

The Hindenburg disaster will probably always be remembered as the singular event that killed

airship travel.

In truth, there were other events that occurred which also contributed, but none stand out

in the public consciousness more than the demise of the Hindenburg.

The image of that huge ship falling from the sky and erupting into flames before burning

to nothing in seconds was too jarring for the public to ever put their trust in these

giants of sky again.

However, few realise that the disaster, though terrible, wasn't as bad as it seemed at

first glance.

For example, more than half of the people involved in the crash actually survived it.

The final death toll for people on board was as follows: of the 97 people on board (36

passengers and 61 members of the crew) only 35 of them were killed.

(The actual death toll is logged as 36, since the crash also killed a crewman working on

the ground.

A German Shepherd dog, Ulla, aboard also lost her life, if you want to count the canine.)

This puts the survival rate for humans in the disaster at well over 60%, though 100%

of the dogs aboard were killed, which presumably had the effect of dogs the world over swearing

off airship travel.

So how did over 60% of the people travelling on an exploding ball of gas hundreds of feet

in the air survive when they had literally only seconds to react and escape?

The short answer is that most jumped out of the window before the Hindenburg hit the ground.

Yes, as unbelievable as it sounds, a good number of the passengers survived the disaster

by just waiting for the airship to be a split second from crashing into the ground before

escaping.

(In the video below, you can actually see a bunch of them running away from the ship.)

However, not all the passengers were as lucky, with some opting to leap from the craft when

it was still high in the air, sending them plummeting to their inevitable death.

Several passengers who didn't have a chance to escape before the ship hit the ground were

also later pulled out of the wreckage alive, meaning the people who leapt to their deaths

would have almost certainly been more likely to survive if they'd stayed on the giant

exploding airship.

So the ones who kept their heads and the ones who were deer in headlights seem to have had

the best survival strategy over the "OH MY GOD THE SHIPS EXPLODING!!" jumpers.

So at this point, you might be wondering, "What caused the Hindenburg disaster?"

On the evening of May the 3rd, 1937, the LZ 129 Hindenburg, now colloquially known as

"The Hindenburg" was preparing for its final and history changing flight from Frankfurt,

Germany.

The airship sailed for 3 days with no incident until around 7 PM on May 6th as it approached

the Lakehurst Naval Air Station which coincidentally is in Lakehurst, New Jersey.

It's noted that the airship went through its usual docking procedure for around 25

minutes before the very first signs that something terrible was about to happen presented themselves.

At approximately 7:25 PM, eyewitnesses at the time claimed that they saw a "glowing

aura" coming from the tail section of the ship.

This aura was later presumed to be either fire or static electricity.

Regardless of what the aura was, the entire ship was soon in flames and within seconds

it had burnt and crashed to the ground.

No one actually knows how long it took for the ship to burn; eyewitness accounts of the

time consistently indicate that the airship took between 30–40 seconds to burn off all

the hydrogen and the skin of the craft.

However, since no cameras present filmed the entire crash from start to finish, it has

been impossible to confirm these reports either way.

Perhaps due to this inconsistency in data, most sources use the phrase "within seconds",

like we just did in the last paragraph as it sounds more dramatic that way.

I mean, really, if it took 20 minutes, it's still technically within seconds as 20 minutes

is of course just 1200 seconds.

Literally "within seconds" has no bounds.

This how modern journalism works.

😉

As for what caused the fire, again, no one is entirely sure.

Airship crash investigation techniques weren't exactly top notch back in 1937 and even today,

the cause of the fire is a source of a significant amount of debate.

That being said, at the time of the disaster, many theories were put forward.

The two most enduring were that the fire was caused by sabotage, and another that claims

the fire was the result of static electricity igniting the hydrogen the Hindenburg used

to fly.

Not surprisingly, the sabotage theory has been largely debunked owing to the fact that

there was zero evidence of any sabotage at the time, and no one has managed to come up

with any tangible evidence since.

As such, most sources today agree that the fire and resulting crash was the result of

an accidental static spark of some kind.

This is also largely believed to be the cause of the mysterious "blue aura" eyewitnesses

claimed to have seen.

So what caused the static charge?

Originally it was believed that a static spark of some sort was perhaps caused by a build

up of electrical potential on the craft from friction between the Hindenburg and the ambient

air.

There was probably a difference of potential between the skin of the craft and the internal

frame, as the cords used as separators provided insufficient conductivity to keep the charge

equal; thus, a spark occurred igniting the hydrogen within the airship.

This is more or less what was concluded in the original investigation back in 1937.

Yet, modern investigators have come up with a slight twist on that theory.

This second theory, first put forward by NASA scientist and hydrogen expert, Addison Bain,

states that that spark that probably caused the fire most likely ignited the Hindenburg's

coating first, instead the hydrogen within it.

But in either case, the result was the same: zzzzzt -> Boom -> IT BURNS US!!!

-> OH THE HUMANITY!!!

Arguments have been thrown back and forth for both theories, culminating in a special

Mythbusters episode where it was concluded that it was indeed the hydrogen that originally

caused the fire.

Which of course just caused more arguments- proof if it was ever needed that people should

never try and prove things… or really try anything at all.

You know what

the first step towards failure is?

Trying to do something.

Thomas Müller back in starting formation - Duration: 1:57.

Bayern Munich are currently experiencing an unusual situation in preparation for a weekend Bundesliga game.

For the first time since Jupp Heynckes returned to Munich two months ago, Bayern are aiming to bounce back from defeat.

A new situation but no problem according to Niklas Süle.

We're still in first place in the Bundesliga and

in my opinion we did an incredible job in the past weeks.

Last week we had a strenuous week travelling from Anderlecht to Gladbach and

spending all of our time in hotels.

I think you could tell that we weren't at 100% at that point

but this week we're obviously trying to get back into peak form.

We'll be at full strength on Saturday against Hanover and hopefully we will win.

It remains to be seen if Niklas Süle will feature in the starting formation or not.

After all, Jupp Heynckes finally has plenty of alternatives to choose from

and not only in defence.

Thomas Müller, for instance, seems ready to play from the beginning.

I am happy that Thomas Müller and Rafinha are back in the squad.

I want to wait and see how David Alaba trains today.

He had no problems training in the past two days

and if he does well today and the physicians give us the green light I'll take him on board.

Crowd darling Franck Ribery is in a similar situation and could feature in the squad for tomorrow's match against Hanover

or Tuesday's Champions League game against Paris St. Germain.

One way or the other the situation regarding injured players is much improved

compared to the last game against Borussia Mönchengladbach.

The month of December which features six games within 18 days is starting well for Bayern Munich.
